Ohohohhho trying a new type thing with this, sort of more like a guided choose your own adventure vibe than just straight hcs. Lmk what you guys think of this I’m getting EXPERIMENTAL. Might make this style of writing available on the ko-fi. It was a total blast!

FIRST DATE WITH THAD CARLSON CYOA

He’d slipped a note through the grates of your locker, it was written in perfect cursive and fluent Vulcan. To save any embarrassment to either party, he wrote a translation on the back, still in his beautiful sloped handwriting. He instructed you to meet outside the library at 7pm sharp, wearing something presentable but not overly formal, and hoped sincerely that you would come. Both sides were signed, there was no question who the invitation could be from.

So, enticed by the note, you go. Following his note to the letter, you go straight to your dorm after class, get ready and wait. Arriving exactly at 7, you see Thad is there, and seemed to have been there for a while. He’s dressed in a good pair of jeans, sneakers that look new out of the box and a t-shirt with a faded Star Trek decal on it. He has a bomber jacket over his shoulder, littered with pins. He steps forward with a smile “You look… wow.. are you ready to go?” DIALOGUE OPTIONS: “YES, LETS GO!” “ACTUALLY, IM KINDA BUSY TONIGHT” “ THAT DEPENDS ARE YOU READY?”

YES LETS GO: Thad smiles and takes your arm, the pair of you walk awash from the library and out of the school grounds. He apologies to you and explains you’ll have to walk to the date location, his bike got stolen and he didn’t have the money to pay the bully to give it back. He seems a little embarrassed about it, its not as great first impression to make your date walk a mile before the date’s even really begun.

IM KINDA BUSY TONIGHT: Thad looks disappointed. Why even bother coming in the first place if you knew you couldn’t make it. His brows furrow and he storms past you, presumably back to the dorms to cry himself to sleep. MISSION FAIL.

ARE YOU READY?: Thad raises his brow, instantly feeling a little self conscious his posture changes so that he’s hiding himself a little. His face scrunches and he asks you “Are you kidding?” DIALOGUE OPTIONS: “YEAH, MY BAD. YOU LOOK GREAT” “NO, I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SERIOUS DATE” —> YEAH, MY BAD. YOU LOOK GREAT: Thad’s face relaxes and he approaches, albeit a little tentatively, offering his arm for you to take “Cheeky, I like it… justht remember to inflect when you joke like that. It doethn’t feel great” —>NO, I THOUGHT THIS WAS A SERIOUS DATE: Thad’s lip quivers a little bit and he looks genuinely crushed by the mean spirited comment. He runs around the side of the library and takes refuge in the Observatory MISSION FAIL

Eventually, the walk to the place was over and the actual date could begin. He held the door open for you and allowed you to step inside. The room is dimly lit, only the faint glow from several games cabinets filled the room. The carpet is old, a relic of the 1980’s. Thad looks over at you expectantly “So, pretty cool huh?” DIALOGUE OPTIONS: “ITS KINDA DARK IN HERE, CANT THEY TURN THE LIGHTS ON?” “YEAH, MAYBE IF YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS” “SURE IS, THIS PLACE IS HUGE!”

ITS KINDA DARK IN HERE, CANT THEY TURN THE LIGHTS ON?: Thad looks over with a thoroughly puzzled expression, hadn’t you ever been to an arcade before? He scrunches his nose up a little and provides a little extra clarity “You get sthcreen glare if the lighths are too bright, you cant play the gameth properly, and its… mood lighting I gueth .” He feels a little awkward, but its not a complete write off yet.

YEAH, MAYBE IF YOU HAVE NO FRIENDS: Ouch, what a hurtful thing to say to someone you’re on a date with! First or otherwise. Thad doesn’t have to stand for this, and he doesn’t. He leaves the arcade and makes sure to slam the door closed on your hand. Have fun getting to the ER on your own loser! MISSION FAIL

SURE IS, THIS PLACE IS HUGE!: Thad’s smile widens and he ushers you to come in through the threshold, he lets the door drop from his hands and gives you time to look around before he speaks again “And thisth isn’t even all of them, there’th a secret room for black card members”

Once you’re inside and acquainted with the surroundings, the pair of you split off for about an hour to play your own games for a while. Kind of odd for a first date but Thad purposely picks games that are in the cabinet next to you or just across, eventually he suggests the pair of you play a multiplayer game, leading you over to a Mortal Kombat cabinet “Pretty cool right, lets pay a few rounds, I’ve got plenty of time” ACTION OPTIONS: PLAY POORLY, MAKE HIM FEEL MASCULINE. KICK HIS ASS, SHOW HIM YOURE A GAMER. REFUSE, ITS WEIRD.

PLAY POORLY, MAKE HIM FEEL MASCULINE: He doesn’t really seem to notice, but seems a little saddened when he wins and not you. The game doesn’t last all that long, its the first time he’s gotten a fatality in less than five minutes. Maybe its an excuse to bring you back and show you the ropes.

KICK HIS ASS, SHOW HIM YOURE A GAMER: Thad enjoys this very much, its a hard fought battle that eventually ends in a win for you, he turns and smiles as Johnny Cage’s blood fills the screen “Kudos to you, a match well won”

REFUSE, ITS WEIRD: Thad sets his jaw, he’s already inserted his quarters into the game. Not one to waste what little money he had left after having to run his wallet earlier in the day, he waves you off to play against the CPU “Okay well.. thereth the door” MISSION FAIL

After many hours of arcade fun, the date is over, and the pair of you retreat back to Bullworth, choosing to take a late bus instead of walking back. You sit quietly on the bus, its not a long journey back from town. And its nice to sit and contemplate on a pretty successful date, and all done within the parameters of curfew. All that was left was to give the evening a perfect ending. Shifting awkwardly on the balls of his feet, Thad looks to you with a hint of resignation on his face as he prepares himself to do the chivalrous thing “Howth abouuths I walk you to your dorm?” DIALOGUE OPTIONS: “NO, THATS OKAY, IM GONNA GO SEE IF EDNA WILL GIVE ME A LATE-NIGHT SNACK” “NO. YOUVE BEEN AROUND ME QUITE ENOUGH FOR ONE NIGHT” “THAT’S SWEET, THANK YOU”

NO, THATS OKAY, IM GONNA GO SEE IF EDNA WILL GIVE ME A LATE-NIGHT SNACK: Thad nods curtly, understanding the trials and tribulations of getting hungry in the night. NO. YOUVE BEEN AROUND ME QUITE ENOUGH FOR ONE NIGHT: Ouch. What a bum note to finish off a date that in Thad’s eyes has been such a beautiful symphony. Jeez, that’s the last time he hand writes a note for you again. MISSION FAIL

so to begin, we first see Sky and Twilight talking about loftwings together!!

so basically that means that Sky was talking to Twilight abt loftwings! so that’s pretty cool ig :D

then Twilight points out that the room got brighter… I believe that this is a “2D” dungeon if you know what I mean, probably taking place somewhere in the downfall timeline. i’m not super familiar with downfall dungeons, so if anyone knows what this means, then please let me know! i doubt JoJo would just put this in for no reason soooo

now we have clarification WHY Twilight asked about loftwings; it was because he was wondering if he’s been to Skyloft, because the dungeon City in the Sky in TP is also in the sky. (btw, I HATED that dungeon puzzle-wise in TP. the design and story was great, but it was confusing and not straightforward.)

also “‘cause, wonderin’, floatin’” yeah i think we can all agree that Twilight speaks with a southern accent :D

also Twilight’s facial expression here reminds me of this specific panel from the TP manga —>

AUUGHHH THE OOCCA ARE LITERAL NIGHTMARE FUEL

also Sky’s shrug is pretty cute lol… and ALL of his facial expressions are hilarious!!

Twilight’s description of an Oocca is pretty accurate ngl

but this leads me to another question: ARE the loftwings and oocca related? well, obviously they are quite different size-wise, with loftwings being much, MUCH bigger. loftwings also come in many colors, but one of those colors is the grey-cream color of the oocca. according to natural selection, it’s possible that the grey colors of the loftwings were kept simply because the grey coloring helped them survive better, therefore passing those traits onto the next generation. they’re bodies are quite similar looking (except for the head, but it’s possible that it just evolved to fit a larger brain) with a cucco-like appearance that was more obscure in loftwings. so overall, I think it’s POSSIBLE they are related, but I do believe that it’s unlikely.

i think here, Sky is deflecting the comparison of his loftwings to Twi’s oocca. (yes, Sky, buddy, you are the fasted rider in ur class :D)

something interesting i noticed here was that the walls in the last longer panel where the two chat about Shad looks awfully like a downfall 2D dungeon, like one from ALTTP. the way JoJo has warped the walls looks VERRRYY suspiciously similar to those, and I think it’s on purpose. cool detail!!

so i found the closest matches to the monsters Sky and Twi fight.

first, is a blue moblin from TAoL (zelda ii, the adventure of link) now this one isn’t a perfect match I don’t think, but it’s the closest one i could find to what JoJo has drawn. it wields a spear and it’s armor is slightly different, but it looks close enough. it also has a distinct dog-like appearance like the one in LU, rather than the more pig like appearance moblins usually have. it’s possible that it’s a blue moblin also from LA NS with a slight redesign, and I do think it’s a probable option… but I will say the TAoL design is closer. but both are from 2D games in the downfall timeline!!

the next one, a Darknut from Link’s Awakening Remake for NS is literally a PERFECT match! it’s sword, shield, designs on its armor, they’re all perfect!! this is interesting because LA technically never existed because Koholint wasn’t real and only in Legend and the Wind Fish’s minds. so… hmmm interestinggg…. but i really doubt they’re in Koholint or another dream because of their surroundings prior to entering the dungeon.

Hmmm! It depends on what you’re looking for! And I will tell you the Hells has been retconned to (heh) Hell and back so feel to take what lore you like and ignore other bits, DnD is supposed to be fun. The Nine Hells is my current hyper fixation though so I stay reading about it lol. I get a lot of my stuff from everywhere but I can definitely provide some links!:

Descent into Avernus: This is a great world building book if you’re looking to learn more about Avernus or Zariel, I have this book so I can vouch that it’s great. Even not just for world building, the campaign itself is super cool and gives you the option to be EVIL which is so lacking in a lot of RPGs these days.

Chains of Asmodeus: is a great reference for like the entirety of the Hells I haven’t dug through it completely but it’s good. Don’t agree with everything but! Take and leave right lol…Here’s a little link to it free online and a bunch of other DnD assets for freeeee :3

The Godborn: I’m holding off on ordering this to have in my own collection bc the Twilight Wars comes first but my friend let me go through theres and for characterization of Mephistopheles this book it’s great. This is a novel different than the two books above which are more DnD adventures just so you know.

Twilight War Series: These I haven’t read but follows Magadon Kest who is Raphael’s brother, I ordered Shadowbred since I’m about to finish Homeland and I’ll let you guys know if it’s any good! But I’m very excited about starting this series. These are novels.

Brimstone Angels: I have mixed feelings about these but I have used sections of it for reference, good stuff for kinda of conceptualizing cambion behavior. It’s a bit…idk. It’s not always to my tastes but it is a good book to paw through if you’re looking for cambion stuff specifically. These are novels.

Hells layers details! Great stuff and great art, of course I’ve set it to Cania bc duh but there’s a lot of stuff there.

It’s lacking its barebones but it’ll give you your base lore on characters, can’t knock it bc we need it. And it does have a lot of stuff.

For Meph specifically ^ DMs talking shop about Meph’s characterization, it’s funny and I agree with a lot of their interpretations. This is a sillier one though.

Some Baalphegor lore bc I’m miss Baalphegor’s number one fan!!!!! Not enough about her…my missing babyGIRL!!!!

Video Games:

Neverwinter Nights: Hordes of the Underdark: Some of the stuff in this is as crazy to me as Raphy ruling over all the Hells but I do like Mephistopheles’s characterization in this sooooo!!!! I watched a playthrough and if you want Meph mannerisms for writing and stuff I think this game is clutch. His voice in it is…hot. 🤭

I hope some of these point you in lore directions you like and gives you some interesting threads to follow! The Hells are vast and I’m still learning a lot. I love it though. Yay Hells :D

My feelings about Tales of the TMNT!

Lmk ur thoughts, especially if you disagree! I would love to hear about it! I, personally, have A LOT of thoughts. Starting with:

I kinda hate the premise.

No, no LISTEN

I LOVE the idea of a series with these characters! I love them and their dynamic, plus with the animation style and cool writing from the movie I was really looking forward to the new series!

I was picturing what I feel like a lot of people were: a story about the tmnt balancing their hero stuff with school, something we haven't really seen before! This also will give them a chance to develop as individuals, something that was touched on in the movie. Awesome! Sounds great!

I hear you cry, 'Wait, so you don't like the series because school isn't a main plot point?' NO

I DONT LIKE THE SERIES BECAUSE NONE OF IT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING!!!!

I understand 1 DnD episode. I understand a filler episode that is discounted from cannon later. What I DONT understand is entire 6 EPISODE ARCS that CANNONICALLY DONT EXIST!!!!

Inventing characters that apparently don't exist in cannon?? And more important to me, spending entire episodes on a specific turtles development, before finding out that IT DIDNT HAPPEN!

And the worst part is.. im not sure? Its wildly unclear how much of these arcs are true, if anything is true, if these are just embellished stories or what. Its wildly confusing and discouraging when all this is happening but JK ITS NOT REAL LOL.

Like none of this is wildly outlandish either? I found the plot pretty realistic to tmnt (I have problems with bishops character, but that's a rant for another post) and super enjoyable! I loved it! Which makes me even more mad because IT APARENTLY NEVER HAPPENED??? I THINK???

The first was out of Leo's comic book, but it was unclear whether this happened and he was just writing it down, or if the whole thing was his writing (which like. It would make sense if Bishop was written by a 15 year old bc of the inconsistencies in her development- AH IM GETTING OFF TRACK AGAIN). For Raphs story (which i liked so much better) it was ABUNDENTLY clear he was pulling the tale out of his ass.

This kind of thing, for one random filler episode, would be fun! Raph telling a super action packed adventure, or Leo's comic book story would be cool!

But. Idk. I love these characters. Why do all of this cool stuff for them when none of it is real?

Xaden:

I think we saw a lot of him in the book, the dagger, the gentle caresses, the beautiful gifts

I wouldn’t know much else to add, but knowing Xaden he likes to be a step ahead, so he’d probably have some extra water prepared or he’d wrap you in shadows, creating a cool dome for you to rest in

And not to be too cheeky, I could imagine Xaden would also be someone to…wear you out before so you’d be less likely to want to gout out adventuring and rather you’d stay inside, safe and away from the heat

Garrick:

He would just swoop you up and carry you himself on his back so you wouldn’t have to use any extra strength

Would probably say a joke or too to ease the tension of everyone watching you “I got you love. I knew it, one look at me and you’re already swooning.”

but once you’re out of everyone’s eyesight he’s sitting you down somewhere cool he’s checking in on you, running his hands over your forehead and cheeks to see how warm you are and grabbing you some water

I also think that his dragon Chradh has a soft spot for you and would probably shield you under his wing.

Bodhi:

This sweetie, this gem

He knows something is up, he’s checking in on you throughout the morning, ensuring you’re okay

If you’re one to push it aside and not tell how you’re feeling, he’s keeping an eye on you

He’s catching you the moment you start to waver and picking you up, bridal style of course, and taking you to the shade Immediately

But, he’s not giving you a talking to because you weren’t upfront on how you were feeling, he’s just checking in to make sure you’re alright, putting a towel to your head and helping you cool down.

He gets it, you want to keep up with everyone, so he’s soft when he speaks to you “I know what its like, to want to keep up with everyone. But please, let me know next time okay. We can be a step behind together, alright?”

Spy Kids: Armageddon teaser trailer!!

OK, OK, OK!

So I just watched the Spy Kids: Armageddon teaser trailer, and it actually looks good?? I was cautiously optimistic and, well, OK I'm still a little bit cautious (especially regarding the casting of the parents..) but now that I've seen what it has to offer, it got me excited now!

I did record my first time reaction via OBS after updating it... without realizing I didn't record the screen, and it won't let me upload it.. whoops. So we're doing a liveblog-but-its-not-really-live observation thing instead.

So first off, the kids aren't twins this time. We're going back to the "older sibling, younger sibling" setup that the original films did, though this time with an older brother and younger sister.

Also, a secret recorded message from the parent telling the kids that something's gone wrong, that's almost exactly what Spy Kids 4 did.

That's kinda worrying, but then again, the first Spy Kids film was originally going to include a similar scene after the Super Guppy chase, as the novelization and one of the original drafts includes the scene. I'll let that slide for now.

On top of the "older and younger siblings" setup being back, the parent characters are once again both spies like Gregorio and Ingrid! In the last film, only one of the parents was a spy, with the other parent not knowing about it, which was an interesting setup.

Is that what they're going with, a mix of all the past films while adding it's own flavour? If so, I'm interested to see the results.

Also, I feel like a generation of Spy Kids being chased by bad guys in a cool vehicle when starting out is becoming a staple in the franchise.

Though funnily enough, this is one where the chase is on the ground this time.

SK1's was on the sea, SK4's was in the air, and now this one is on land. That's neat!

The zoom-in gear-up montage is back!

Whoa! Wallclimbing!

We've seen the heroes use grappling hooks before, and we even see climbing carabiners (another thing I had to look up) on their toolbelts, but we never actually see them use it for wallclimbing. That's another welcome addition!

Whooooaaaa. That is cool!

The original Spy Kids did a similar thing in one of the Spy Kids Adventures books, so it's awesome to actually see it onscreen!

YES!! I always wanted Spy Kids to drive a transforming car!

(I was literally thinking of using robot crabs as an idea for my episodic comic!)

And we got a release date; September 22nd!

So, this trailer has understandably gotten a very middling response from people. My thoughts on this? It's looking promising! It may not be my dream interquel cartoon that I want, but I think this reboot is gonna be decent, at the very least!

My hopes for this is: - They get creative with the gadgets again. The gadgets from the last entry, Spy Kids: Mission Critical, were bland and boring, and not something a kid would use. - No title puns or fart jokes. None of that. Although given that there's no baby sibling in sight, and that Rodriguez has gotten help from his son Racer Max with writing the story this time, I think we'll be safe. - There's some chemistry between the new siblings that reminiscent of Carmen and Juni's interactions. - The villain being hammy and fun again.

the frogs continued their journey when they heard a noise. a very loud noise. a noise that almost sounded like somebody yelling for help. as they followed the yell they found somebody. somebody on a very tall big castle. surrounded by lava. they look up and see a women. a beautiful women. she looked like she had just woken uo from a very long nap. “ HELP HELP PLEASE OH GOD PLEASE HELP WHERE AM I “ yelled the woman “ have no fear women we will come save you!! “ said the two frogs as rhe frogs approached thw castle they were suddenly spotted by something very big. but what was it?? a cat?? a lizard? A LIZARD WHO CAN BLOW FIRE?? that is no lizard that is a dragon! the frogs later had to jump into battle and foght this dragon. and won. they walked uo to the castle and saved the princess. they lead her back to her home and said goodbye.

Finished "Suppose a guy from the last dungeon boonies moved to the starter town?" the other day, and my internet wasn't working so here's my favorite part:

this is a cool fight and he can do magic now suddenly BUT WHERE IS THE DETAIL THAT HE HAPPENS TO BE ABLE TO SUMMON RAIN

THE SCALE i think the way they use scale is one of my favorite concepts from this anime The "fight-time anime characters are insanely powerful so we are just gonna start out like you have all this cultural base knowledge built up and just run with that so you're going to be fighting a new demon lord every few episodes" and by the end it's like "these god-like beings hanging out and filming Loyd killing monsters like overly-excited family members on a field trip" the animosity/grandfatherly affection from a guy who is an Archetype made flesh trying to end the world so he can CREATE A NEW HERO TI FILL THAT ARCHETYPE AND FINALLY DIE CUZ HE'S BEEN AROUND SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD and like oh my god

the relationships that immortal beings have with mortals and the scale they are working on is so fascinating to me like this guy is manufacturing an apocalypse and becoming The Big Bad and being eeeeeviiiiilllll so Loyd can defeat him, but he'd got the vibe of "La La La! look at this lovely camping trip I'm planning, my grandson will love it so much, what a fun adventure!"

And it works in other concepts like it takes the idea of "this random ass man is suddenly the most important guy ever and everyone loves him- even the king -and so many people in super unrealistic stations" and that's super fun and turns it up to 5 million and burns the dial into dust.

like, its so funny because, of course this guy is important, because fucking gods are paying attention to him and trying to give him enrichment. Like a lot of the anime i watch where you have this really bland guy being so powerful is because it's a power fantasy and the guy is you (and they don't know you so lets make him as vague as possible), and that's super fun, but they take the ideas and tropes that arise from that "you get to be the most important and most powerful but still a normal guy" situation and go "what if we made a reason for all of this nonsense to be what actually makes sense to happen?" like like :3 Suppose a guy from the last dungeon boonies moved to the starter town?

- Pepi is scared of nothing. This cat jumps on your shoulders and paws you until you fly around with her. Paws all ruffled in your hair, back legs kind of scratching your shoulders but her happy little peeps are good enough for you to keep going.

- "You are the coolest person ever..."

- "Now you can be taller than me-" 'WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?"

- you rescue all the animals Inanna scares up a tree. It happens a lot-

- Muriel is fascinated. He often gazes lovingly at you whenever you use your ability, even if its mid fight.

- He remembers while you were facing off some demon in a fight, you floated up to tower over his shoulder. He marvels at your powerful stance, even though he doesn't see it, he could just FEEL the power radiating off you from behind him

- He always makes sure your protection charms are potent and fresh, just in case.

- "You're beautiful when you float around" His face always goes beet red when he compliments you. this is no different.

I FINISHED SEASON 2 OF VOLTRON

OKAY SO SO SO that was a WILD season and the showdown in the last 2 episodes? it was so dramatic and deserved. Really interesting to see the mages(?) get more screentime (though barely) because they are so funky. what are they doing why are they there. but anyways like last time I'lll put the rest below xD

BACK ABOUT THE MAGES. I don't remember their names but the head mage gives off "puppeteering-everything-from-the-background" vibes. I wouldn't be surprised if they turned out to be the real mastermind behind it all. Like if the magic was used to corrupt some minds and help build the empire. Although I don't know what that would do to the world building?

Shiro. WHERE DID SHIRO GO. Like they went HARD on Shiro this season. He's trying his best but life keeps attacking him. The mind battles he has are super cool and WOW this man can fight. but also Shiro do you ever sleep. does he sleep. does he believe in self care. I don't think he's ever heard of sleep before.

Pidge gives off some of the vibes of Haruhi from OHHC. They both have similar genders. Love how she gets time to shine at the tech planet!

Hunk being a master chef is cool, especially considering he's probably never seen any of those ingredients before. Still kinda disappointing that they made 3/4 of his personality food. I also think he'd be good at hugs lol

Keith my man are you okay?? I'm getting vibes of orphan club which like same xD. But also now that Shiro is gone Keith is probably going to have to take over? The red lion has shown to act independently so if Keith takes over the black lion then they could still form voltron? (the black lion has show to not care as mucha bout who's in it, at least compared to the red lion.

ALSO the red lion acting independently feels kind of like a parallel to hyper-vigilance. Keith doesn't feel safe often so his lion is always on guard and ready to protect, unlike a lot of people who generally don't have such a hyperactive "I must protect myself at all costs" mentality. It's the constantly engaged survival instincts you honour

Love how lance is just some guy. I am not invested in him and I feel like he would not be invested in me if we ever met xD. Love how he's just some guy while Shiro has gone through insurmountable psychological and physical trauma. he's just there.

THE MERMAID ADVENTURE WAS SUPER NEAT. LOVE HOW THE QUEEN DIDN'T TURN OUT TO BE BAD (maybe? it felt a little rushed when it got to that point). The suspense of figuring out what was causing the mind control was pretty neat. Also the giant worm beast was living it's life. technically wasn't decimating the mermaid population so.. (joking joking I just really liked its design)

Black lion trust battles are super cool. But I gotta say the black lion has like, reverse trust issues. please just stop trying to pick the genocidal dictator that keeps killing millions of people. please. Though it does make me wonder if part of the reason the black lion accepted Shiro so fast was because Shiro reminded the black lion of the previous paladin? With the arm and vibes and everything?

Coran is growing on me. he's just built like that and honestly good for him. He's like a space dad. Also emo Coran is great, might be a heavy stereotype but you know what we can ignore that and let him own it. Give him back that haircut. Also how he speaks sometimes makes me think that he's not from the same planet Allura is? Like maybe he's from a sister planet of a species that evolved extremely similar but not identical. Because he can't do everything Allura can. UNLESS Allura can do it because she's a princess whichhhh eh. It's cool for her but also tiring to see the whole "royal families are good and deserve their positions because they are inherently more special and valuable" sort of message.

ALLURA. QUEEN. SHE IS FLEXING HER POWER AND I SUPPORT HER ON THAT ENDEAVOUR. She was being mean to Keith but all things considering I can understand her hesitance considering everything. Stills sucks that Keith had to go through her projections. but also DAMN when she blends in to sneak onto the ship I loved seeing her fight. like her fighting style there was literally "what if I just slam everything together". I love that for her

also Keith being only half(?) human is really cool but WOW the team was not very understanding. Just let the guy be. He's trying his best but he also needs time to process and adapt. And I don't think he adapted too well if his first(ish) reaction to being part galra was to throw himself into enemy ships and nearly die AGAIN

red lion going feral is cool. Love how it has a stronger personality compared to the others, but it makes the other lions seem less powerful? not powerful perse but more so they get almost kidnapped a lot more and don't really do anything about it while the red lion will fight for its own freedom.

ANYWHO I should probably go watch the third season because I MUST know where Shiro went. is he okay <- judging by his character he is one of the MOST least okay characters.
