“What’s the “The Power of the Crown”?

The Power of the Crown is a book written by Raphael in Baldur’s Gate 3. It has one hundred chapters written, with various scenarios. They all end with him gaining the Crown of Karsus. Really your story or sketch can go anywhere, as long as Raphael gets the crown. Remember this is a work of fiction that we’re writing and drawing as if Raphael wrote it.

The description of the book:

[ All one hundred chapters of this dense book describe the coronation of Raphael as Archdevil Supreme of the Nine Hells, but the circumstances vary in each case. Some versions are written as if historical fact, others are imagined futures, but all end with Raphael wearing the Crown of Karsus. ]

You may submit a piece of visual art or a writing work. Written works should be 1k to 10k long. Artwork should be a at least a cleaned up sketch.

“What is a collection?”

A collection is a collaborative series of works on Ao3. To post to a collection when publishing a work you would go down to associations, and type in “The Power of the Crown collection” to submit.

“Who can participate?”

Anyone! Anyone can post to this collection, the only reason a submission would be rejected is if it was not written or drawn as a story that would fit in The Power of the Crown, or it didn’t follow submission length/polish rules.

Hi! First of all, thank you for taking the time for this challenge on the power of the crown of karsus, it's really cool!

Then, I looked at it more closely, however I didn't really understand, the stories are up to us to create them? Or do some already exist? I'm in the house of hope at the moment I haven't found this collection for the moment, I admit I don't know the story of raphael in depth too much.

Hi! Of course! Yes, it’s a collection of art and stories based on a book in the House of Hope, this one:

Basically fans writing fics/drawing art AS Raphael. It’s gonna be fun. Tomorrow I reveal the works and close the collection but if you need more time and are interested in adding just DM me, I’m happy to leave the collection open if they’re any people who definitely want to add (though I’m revealing tomorrow just because a lot of people did make work as early as May). I have an au, which I'm too burned out to turn into proper fanfiction (i need to find strength to at least write chapter to something i already have, lol), so telling it here.

Au in it's core is simple - Glassred didn't kill her order, Enver didn't escape Raphael and had to become his assistant. They both agreed with roles their caregivers gave them

So in 1473 DR Deidre Vellard, trying to understand what's happening with her adoptive daughter, asks Raphael for help. With Raphael arrives his assistant, Enver Gortash, and starts to interact with murderous paladin.

I didn't thought about this au much in terms of events here, but I just like it, so i'm sharing
