yeah "character goes to their archenemy's house out of desperation because theyre severely injured and have nowhere else to go" is fun and all. but "character goes to their archenemy's house because theyre bored and frustrated and they dont feel they can be open with anyone else" is such a fun iteration of the trope

Aita for not making any of my characters, that I have to crank out daily, pansexual/polysexual/omnisexual specifically and only making them bi?
🏳️🌈👶🏼 so i can recognize this later lmao also I'm not panphobic or anything, this isn't about the validity of the label, pan is fine.
So i (20snb bi) have a project I'm working on where I take all the characters from a specifc media I'm into and pair them up with each other to make every possible ship kid from every possible ship(excluding characters who are kids themselves or are related or something, that shit is gross). Basically taking every character and pairing them up with another and creating a kid I think they'd have. Its a big project with lots of characters and I'm easily over 400 at this point. I really enjoy this, even if I'm not even 25% complete.
However I set a schedule for myself that at least one ship kid needs to come out each day which, considering I draw them, color them and give them some development and some even have siblings, (The refs themselves easily take me an hour to an hour and a half) I have to make lots of them quickly to keep up with my daily grind. I've been doing this project for over a year and although it's stressful, I can get them out quickly with breaks for myself.
Their character sheets all have some pretty basic info like their name, gender, pronouns, personality and more but it also includes their sexuality/orientation. I have a pretty basic list of options for what their sexuality will be: straight, lesbian, gay, Enbian, bi, Aro, ace and aroace with a few random things like polyam, WLW and a good amount of the something-loving-something/juvelic terms. I did this because, well, there's not many entirely unique orientations outside of them and although I love mogai/xenogenders and complex identities, I dont want to potentially drag up discourse or bring problems to my budding art blog over it. Its just not worth it to me to turn something I really care about on its head, even if I like microlabels.
In this case, I'm using bi as an umbrella term as most of the other terms share the same definition with slight variations in wording or action but not much difference in practice. We all like everyone, it's basic stuff. However, apparently this is a problem.
I've gotten one or two anons asking me questions about my guides asking some kind stuff like is this lesbian ship kid a butch or femme or Is this picture of them now or just at the age you put on the ref and other harmless stuff. Then things got rude with some Nbphobia but thrice now I've gotten asks:
1. Asking snarkily if im a panphobe
2. insulting me for not specifically writing pan or Omni and just writing bi.
3. Saying that I "clearly dont care about pansexual representation." Then brought up how my primary oc is native american so i clearly care about representation but that oc used to be a sona and I'm native?? Its confusing. (And Lowkey racist shit to just assume any native character is a "diversity quota" character instead of just a person existing but I digress-)
Im not pan, im bi so ig these people assume I'm not cool with pan people which isnt true? I have nothing aginest them, they are just pretty similar and I dont feel like it matters if they are specfically bi or pan or poly or any other label. I don't go into details like that for any other sub-group, not even pronouns and I included combinations and some common Neopronouns. I understand the importance of representation but my project has less than 50 people looking at it every day, Im not netflix or something. I'm one guy on the most LGBT blogging site with a big project and very little audience, I'm not showing people who wouldn't already know what pan is that pansexuality exists.
This project isn't that deep considering the characters in question aren't human/dont have human characteristics.(no it's not hazbin/helluva) Also ive never spoken about lgbt discourse or stated anything remotely close to it beyond the guides just passively having characters who are an LGBT identity. I've not even mentioned all the potentional orientations they could have so I'm not sure where/why this came up in the first place. The most politcial things ive said are calling out a creator in my fandom who outed themselves as a transphobe and mentioning im pro-palestine. That's it.
I mean this is pretty low stakes, I can just block these people and be done with it and this some seriously online shit but I just wanna check.
Am I being an asshole for just writing bi instead of specifying their mspec label because I have to produce characters quickly and I don't see enough of a difference to warrant a change/specification that would ultimately slow and clog an already stressful and complex project?
I dont think I am but idk lol
What are these acronyms?

Fandom Problem #6674:
when people who hate a piece of media actively participate in the fandom just to hate on everything and show how "woke" they are and you know what while ive seen this in other fandoms this is a genshin submission. because im ACTIVELY tired of these mother fuckers commenting about any thing new thats happening just to spread their toxicity about the game. i dont care if your upset the new character is pale you need to stop trying to force asians to represent you. the fact that the first thought you have when you see any pale character is that "they would be better black" says a whole fucking lot about YOUR internalized racism and prejudice towards not only white people but any one thats pale and that includes asians and middle easterners who are infact poc. you need to reflect on that because with that mindset you are no better than a pale person thinking characters or people would be better white. i dont care if you think the inazuma story is boring and sucks, or that you cant comprehend that Ei was actually handles really well and you cant understand someone battling depression and just because she a fucking archon doesnt mean she cant fuck up. the ABLEISM this reeks and your lack of empathy is astounding. sit down. i dont care if you think the characters are too sexualized. this is especially worse if you only think or go after a specific nation for being sexualized. even if you did care even though mihoyo (a chinese company) sexualized its own culture it still doesnt fucking matter because its not REAL. i could understand if it was a historical film and it was changed like that but this is a fantasy world and ALL the clothes are modified/different and sexualized. sick of this argument GO OUTSIDE AND USE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY TO TALK ABOUT REAL PROBLEMS ALL YOU DO IS COMPLAIN ABOUT A GAME THAT WILL NEVER LISTEN TO YOU AND WILL COTINUE TO EXIST AS I IS NO MATTER WHAT YOU SAY WHEN YOU COULD BE SHOWING SUPPORT FOR REAL PEOPLE EXPIRENCEING REAL LIFE THREATENING PROBLEMS BUT NO! YOUR QUITE WHEN ITS A REAL FUCKING PERSON
OR YOU HAVE THE AUDACITY TO ATTACK A REAL PERSON YOU CLAIM TO DEFEND LIKE DORIS FUCKING VOICE ACTOR WHO IS A PERSON OF COLOR AND HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CREATION OF THE FUCKING CHARACTER shut up and sit down you literal children. you arent "woke". you do more harm to this fucking community than good and its a fucking shame genshin got so big and attracted all you privileged babies who have never experienced a real problem once in your lives and that goes to any poc complaining about a fucking fantasy game that has no effect on your lives
sincerely a very tired black woman who has experienced far fucking worse than a character being pale or wearing modified clothing, a character with depression doing morally questionable acts upon her people. please learn what a real problem is.

so im white, lets just get that out of the way, but i wanna talk about the orientalism in windblades design.
this doesnt feel like my place to talk about but if no one brings it up then no ones gonna learn about it or second guess it. im tired of other white people not noticing this problem or thinking its fine. if anyone asian (specifically japanese) has any thoughts or personal input it is SUPER fucking welcome! its hard to find people talking about this.
so transformers has a women problem in general. they set up women in the 80s in one episode and never elaborated on it in that show. they added arcee in the movie. they put a couple in the beast wars era, but outside of blackarachnia (becoming a literal succubus) we dont really get any of those characters adapted (besides arcee) over iterations. never any new ones really.
then the comics get windblade. i havent read the comics, this isnt about anything that happens in them. this is about her design how she comes off as as shes been adapted into cartoons. i wont comment on events from the comics outside of her origin, as i know fuck all about it.
so she was supposedly a fan-voted character, but her 'fan-voted' aspects have nothing to do with the problem (in fact the fan-vote was more of a suggestion because a few things dont end up being true) the voted aspects are as follows:
autobot. jet. fights with swords. red & black. named windblade. female. valiant. telepath. from Kaon.
so here's what that ends up looking like.
so they took some liberties. there was other concepts where she was a european knight etc, but this is where they landed. she has this extremely feminine figure, complete with makeup and sculpted hair. many people immediately mistake this look for a geisha (though supposedly being kabuki) she gets little pump heels, it makes her very human woman shaped. birthing hips and all. thats classic girl robot stuff. its the specifics of it that are an issue.
so thats kind of a lot of japanese motifs. the makeup, the swords, the hair... why does it look like human hair? thats a very specific hairstyle on a character who doesnt have hair...
on its own, having a japanese inspired aesthetic isnt the problem. i mean, coding characters to be from different places is fine. having characters coded as a specific race could be fine. jazz already exists, and despite being taken by racist creators sometimes (cough michael bay cough) its not inherently bad that he is black coded, specifically when in the hands of black creators/voices. thats key.
so having a transformer who landed in japan and took on some culture from there. you could see that happening. that could work if in the hands of people who were japanese.
but thats not even her backstory. shes not even from Kaon (as was voted), instead she's from another planet entirely, a more spiritual one, which narratively makes her alienated from cybertronians. this alienation adds to the problem. "shes not from here." "shes not like us."
you'll see many people look at this design and think "is that geisha transformer?" and as the character isnt from japan and knows nothing about the culture that inspired her, the media itself never corrects anyone. no one in the text goes "no shes not a geisha shes actually based on a kabuki performer", no one says any words about it, its just how she looks, its just aesthetics without explanation or cultural background. shes not literally japanese, she just looks it. its easy to mistake without cultural context from a western perspective, so calling her a geisha becomes a rampant problem. general audiences arent looking at forum posts form 2014 where someone correctly explains what the motifs are. shes made by white people, and white people are largely the ones consuming the media. its unfortunate, and could have been avoided if the culture shes inspired by was relevant to her character.
so she's clearly heavily inspired by japanese aesthetics, which codes her as being an asian woman in this media but written by non japanese people. and then she becomes so popular that she has to start making appearances in shows.
she shows up in robots in disguise first. lets compare her to strongarm (the only other girl in the show)
having this japanese woman be far more thin and feminized than the other girl characters is the problem. strongarm is literally the first non feminized main girl transformer (not counting strika) she is much more in line with the men around her, square and broadshouldered, shes the largest car of the bunch. that was an upgrade finally. and then we get windblade. she has ruby red lipstick, human hair, heels, jewellery. on its own? thats fine. but keep in mind, shes heavily japanese coded already. then shes immediately seen as a romantic conquest for sideswipe (though he never gets anywhere, he literally claims ownership) it leans into tropes of sexualizing asian women because she stands apart from strongarm. shes the flirt, shes the very feminine one. is this on purpose? its not their fault windblade looks like that in the comics and strongarm looks like this. but side by side what is it saying? did they intend to say this about their asian woman? no, probably not intentionally. its kind of unconscious bias that tends to happen when you dont have a diverse writers room. no one notices until it hits the audience.
but lets just jump in here with the other weird problem in RID, because shes not the only one who jumped from the comics.
drift (who while being a samurai in the comics (literal?) doesnt.... LITERALLY wear a suit of samurai armour) shows up. with his two minicons who act as his children (who hes very strict with). theres a heavy overuse of the word honour. he owes a life debt, hes very humourless etc... they also never explain why he wears this armour. he came straight from space. he doesnt even turn into anything big that warrants it, hes just another sports car. bumblebee and sideswipe are sports cars too. but why is drift a sports car? tokyo drifting. drift. you get it.
so drift also is a comics original character. he, however, looks nothing like that
i will assume that drift looks different for one reason....
i mean. i shouldnt have to tell you why that was bad, right? you guys get why michael bay movies are bad? (if you genuinely dont please enjoy this series as a starter) ill just assume you do. knowing that that drift is bad, can we also say windblade is suffering from a similar problem?
this show brings in these FOUR new characters and heres how they look side by side.
so. okay the minicons are raised by drift, they share his aesthetic, okay. we dont know where he got that aesthetic but yeah they share it. windblade.... its unclear in this show if she shares the being from another planet like idw part. shes on a mission from god to be here and thats all we know. but the point is they have no similar origin. yet they all look like they could be from the same place. that they shares a (japanese inspired/coded/stereotyped take your pick) culture. meanwhile our from ep1 mains look like this:
so that feels. specific.
its not inherently bad to code robots as japanese, however its a problem when it seems to be for aesthetics alone. its stereotyping. they look nothing like the rest of the cast, everything like each other, and are from completely different backgrounds. they literally have the same colour palette? theyre not even like that in the comics.
sidenote, if you add sideswipe (who's alt mode has kanji on it and an asian voice actor so we can assume some coding there too) they look like this. yes they all have swords.... no one else does!
yes, windblade is the only character with a white face. makeup. yes sideswipe claims ownership over her to fight off one of the minicons. its not wrong to show windblade being harassed by a man, but it is wrong that no one ever says "leave her alone" you know? like thats just whats to be expected of her. it sucks. but at least her voice actress was asian! that wont happen again.
so. moving on to cyberverse, she becomes a central character. character wise? shes great. she gets to do a lot, no one sexually harasses her here, we're free of that era.
comparing her to the other autobot women, shes more in line now. if thats a good or bad thing overall is less the point (ie theres no autobots built like strongarm was, they are all just as thin and curvy as windblade is) but to me its still very apparent that shes still implying human hair. even with how simplified all these designs are.
like you can see how these red lines around her eyes get lost at a distance, same with the clips in her 'hair'. its clearly just trying to adapt her original design and im not saying thats a wrong choice they made, but i am saying its really busy in comparison
maybe thats a nitpick. but here it seems much more pronounced just how specific her head piece is because we can compare her to chromia, who is from the same place. do these two characters look like they have the same culture? not really. chromia and arcee look more alike. maybe thats just because they were designed later, but its unfortunate none the less.
even comparing her head to the seekers, what she is kind of supposed to be, they get the same old starscream mold. maybe she'd look better if they just did that? or something similar? like, give her a helmet. no one has hair. please stop implying hair. we all know what youre doing.
none of this is me saying i find these shows bad or that i hate windblade, i genuinely love her! and i love both these shows! it just feels hard to love her because of how she was designed. its not a problem with having a japanese coded character, its how stereotyped the look is. how othered it is. it leans into racist tropes. its orientalism, using japanese aesthetics to make her look interesting and different. you can tell she was made by white people.
how is it that despite being around for 10 years now, no ones tried to redesign her?
also look at the toys! look at the god damn toys!
she can take that head piece out to have a FAN. why does she need a fan?? shes got fucking WIND JETS ON HER BACK! its very obvious why they did this. shes a japanese woman, she can fight with a fan to complete the aesthetic! despite her character never having even been there! and no other transformer using a fan weapon! shes so COOL AND DIFFERENT like that isnt she?? holy fucking shit
to go back to those original voted concepts for a second? if we went back to the drawing board?
a telepathic valiant female autobot who can fly, has a red/blue/black colour combo (with yellow accents) uses swords, and maybe even with canonical asian heritage....
could they even do that? is it possible?
...
OH! wait it SUPER IS! who'd have thought!?
im NOT saying "we dont need windblade! we have a better girl with the same concept!" cuz thats stupid. do not misunderstand, theres room for WAYYYY MORE TF GIRLS! the literal 1:13 ratio is FUCKED! i know windblade had to fight to exist too and that sucks!
i just think it's CLEARLY possible to do this better, and it SHOULD be entirely possible to have windblade (who was LITERALLY holding court as the MAIN girl transformer for years) to be, i dont know, not so racistly designed? i think its entirely possible to fix, i just wish they would have tried already.
and this is just what my white ass has thought about since meeting her and not seeing anyone else bring it up. like going hunting for a real take about it just meets you with the rampant misogyny problem in fan spaces. its hard to find people talking about it in a normal way, but if they have before id love to know.
i just wanted to put my thoughts about it down, maybe get people to think about it more or talk about it more. cuz jeez, i would really like them to fix the problem. like they fixed the arcee problem in idw, right? can they fix windblade next?

hello coming back to yap about the rainworld youtooz figures beccaauusseee im insane :-) and have had these thoughts about youtooz products for a long time and would like to hear what others think ^_^
long post ahead sorry i have normal thoughts and feelings about this /lh
i was very excited when i heard about these and i still am (for other reasons than probably intended lol) but i have issues with them specifically the signature youtooz happy eyes.. they have bothered me for what has to be YEARS now like its cute for a few things but once its on seemingly EVERYTHING they produce no matter what.. it starts to tick me off sometimes they just DONT FIT and thats okay.. you dont need them for brand recognizably ive heard youtooz products are relatively high quality and thats GREAT i am will to spend my money on a high quality product !!
but like when im interested in a product based off an already existing media property i want something accurate !! and to youtooz' credit, i love how these two models look outside of the eyes and survivors spear being grey i think theyre very well done. but for stuff like rainworld with a more serious tone it just does not fit :-(
i have two solutions to my issues with this specifically that does not include simply opening their eyes that both focus on survivor..
1) change survivor to monk: yes i get it survivor is Mr. Rain World but if we want to keep the happy eyes monk is your best bet. not only is he depicted with those eyes a few times in official stuff (see: slugpup plush and selection screen art) but he is also frequently considered a friend to lizards so you can also keep the pink lizard's expression !! they can be a cute little set :-)
option 2) change survivors pose: if we need to keep survivor then at least change their pose to a cuter one maybe of them eating a bluefruit ?? with how action focused their current pose is the eyes are especially out of place even if it is a very iconic pose for them. (also why isnt the spear black ????????)
video cult hire me :-)
anyway even if i wont be buying these for my own personal issues with them im still happy theyre being made not only for others who will most likely love them but also because if these sell well they might actually make a monk who i may actually buy.. PLUS this means they might make other figures in the future with other companies ? :-) i can hope at least hehe
let me know your thoughts if youve read this far i would love to hear them since this has been something lowkey eating at me for a few years now haha apologies if any of this is hard to read btw its 1:21 am annndd im tired and dont feel the greatest lol

DMC Questions Anon here!
What sort of things would the DMC characters be into? What would their favorite medias be, who would their favorite characters be, their favorite dynamics, their favorite ships? Favorite things about it? Would they try and have any involvement in the fandom space online? If so, what sort of involvement?
Apologies for the late reply lol, got busy and forgot this ask was sent hejshhshd
Ill do them in order:
Dante: Well we know he's into smutty magazines and maybe even a bit of collecting, seeing how cluttered the office appears to be. This makes me thing he'd be into more retro things like old arcade machines, specifically those 1v1 combat games, and i can also see him reading old superhero comic books. (For anybody that knows the game, i can see him enjoying Dead or Alive too lmao)
He doesnt strike me as the sort to enter a fandom space and be an active participant, but i can imagine him enjoying discussing it with close friends like Lady/Nero or maybe even Trish. A casual enjoyer, i imagine he is.
Shipping too i feel like he'd try and be casual about... but we all know he secretly has an OTP that if they do not get together by the end of the series he will Lose It.
Vergil: Novels, poetry, theatre too. Also a secret Y/A novel enjoyer. By virtue of spending a good chunk of his life in the underworld and/or a bit disconnected from society while on the run as a kid, i imagine he isn't too well versed in fandom culture (does he even know what a fandom is?) But if prompted, would gladly yap to you for hours about his favourite literatures, the characters, the stories, etc. Enjoys all genres, but has a preference for darker themes and dark fantasy.
I dont think he'd be too into shipping, he strikes me as someone who'd rather analyse and break down his favourite media untill its shreds on the floor rather than pairing his favourites together. Dante despises when Vergil tries to get all analytical and point out broken physics on his favourite series when he's just trying to be a casual enjoyer lol (he secretly enjoys hearing his twin actually happy enjoying something for once, but would never admit that even over Eva's grave)
Nero: A total fandom nerd in his free time, mainly whatever TV shows were able to air in Fortuna and his favourite bands too. Can talk for hours about the intricate lore, the characters and the stories of his favourite media much like his father, however when it comes to analyzing stuff and deriving a deeper meaning from context clues, Nero would rather just enjoy things as they're presented to him. Strikes me as the type to mostly enjoy classic hero vs villian stories, and is a bit of a wimp with horror though he swears up and down he can handle it no problem.
Since Fortuna is pretty cut off from the outside world, and internet doesnt seem to be a very prominent thing in the DMC universe (if it even exists at all), i dont imagine he'd be too aware of larger fandom spaces. But i can see him having his own group of friends in Fortuna who share common interests with him, and they discuss the media together (possibly even friends from the Order or maybe even his time in the orphanage.)
Shipping, absolutely. Has multiple pairings and a few he depises for whatever reason, isnt too concerned about whats canon and whats not canon, and will gladly re-imagine the lore to suit his needs.
When it comes to his music, he will 100% make you a playlist or 5 of his favorite bands, what he things you'd like, what he recommends to try, and maybe even some he doesnt like just for fun. Much like me, Nero cannot live without his music.
For the others, ill do them kinda brief but i can expand on them if people wanna hear more:
Lady: Casual enjoyer of various media, mainly TV shows, but very much likes shipping and will happily debate over her pairings. Has a secret love for horror.
Trish: A bit like Vergil in the sense that she likes analyzing media and diving into the deeper meaning of everything. Likes shipping but less to pair cute couples, and more to explore various relationship dynamics and whatnot. Likes romance and cheesy stuff, but also really enjoys some darker genres sometimes too.
Nico: The kind of person who has to get into the physics and realism of everything in her favorite media, pointing out what does and doesnt make sense both within the fictional world and their "real world", and loves pointing out references to things whenever she can. Also takes inspiration from various media for her creations. Most of her favorite genres might be considered childish, but that just makes them even cooler to her.
Kyrie: A sucker for a good romance novel, she says she's just a casual enjoyer and not that deep into the fandom, but she has cried when her OTP didnt get together by the end of the book.
Lucia: Dumary seems pretty dead so i dont think theres much going on there to get into fandom-wise, but if Lucia were to get into something i imagine she'd enjoy watching rom-coms with Kyrie and Trish, the three of them debating their favourite pairs and laughing at all the cheesy moments. Much like Kyrie, she's a sucker for a good romance plot.
#love this question hehe#also i have another idea for what the DMC crew would be like playing DND so i might do that in a seperate post#dmc#devil may cry#the herb speaks#asks#vergil devil may cry#dante devil may cry#nero devil may cry

IF ANYONE EVER SENDS DEATH THREATS TO YOU CUS U WRITE SMUT AS A MINOR PLEASE DONT EVER EVER LET THEM GET TO YOU ‼️‼️ theyre just a bunch of adult babies who whine over insignificant stuff abt minors writing smut smh smh cant even mind their own businesses, either enjoy and reblog the work or just block 💀
OH AND BTW I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE THE WAY YOU WRITE SMT HIHIHI the way you write leon is to die for AND THE WHIMPERS???? good lawd i am busting a nut every goddamn time 🫶🤭
HII i was literally eating lunch at my campus and i saw ths so maybe i should address it?
OH AND THANK YOU SO MUCH IM GLAD U ENJOYED IT
i havent gotten any death threats (thankfully), and even if they did i dont rlly.. uhm care LMAO
from my personal belief, i, of course, think that its not right to create nsfw spaces online without any heads up or warnings—thats why there are tags and dni stuff n shit, to provide a barrier (ofc im not trying to defend anything unethical like pedxph1lic content or sexualized gore); that's also why i specifically clarify that i am 17 in any nsfw shit i write—so ppl know whether they can be comfortable 'consuming' my content.
when people older than me(or pr much anyone for that matter) praise, heart or reblog my content it doesnt mean that i, a minor, am being sexualized by them indirectly or directly. it would be different if i myself was the subject being written or filmed erotica of. we are all anonymous citizens of social media, but i make sure ppl understand that i am not comfortable being reached out to for anything outside of tumblr n/sfw leon kennedy content or anyth to the likes of it.
i am 17 going onto 18 and naturally (but ofc depending on diff variables) ppl my age are curious and thats fine as long as we play it safe (thats why things like sex educ exists, which btw isnt always available due to the stigma that sex ed apparently 'jeopardizes the young'.). eventually we need to be presented with the concept of sexuality for our own safety, bit by bit as we enter adulthood. me writing erotica is just a safe way of expression (because lets be real, as much as we wish we couldnt, its our hormones)
i dont think any of my content is harm as long as i establish that my content is not meant to be consumed by them (them being ppl who are under 17 and anyone over 17 uncomfortable w interacting w my stuff or account)

OOC information / about
🦋 i answer questions in character as alois
🦋 admittedly im not a very formal typer irl anyways, but all slang/acronyms/typos are in character . i dont think alois would be very formal with this lol its just his own lil blog
🦋 keep in mind that while this is a form of rp , this is an ask blog , and everything here is over the internet . this isnt paragraph / third-person style rp . alois is using tumblr ( or whatever vague social media u wanna pretend this is ) and you are seeing him post . does tht make sense? ^^;; these kinds of blogs were way moare popular wen i was a kid but i dont really see this kind of rp around these days . ueueueueueueue ;w;
🦋 modern setting ( not this exact year / timeline , like not specifically 2024 , just . not victorian era . since this wouldn't be possible if it was LOL )
🦋 alois is 14. dont be a creep*
🦋 please do not expect Alois to be sweet to u . he is a right brat ( as is canon ) , especially if hes in a bad mood . he can be sweet / friendly too , but dont get mad or sad or whatever if he reponds in a bratty or mean way to your question / ask
🦋 if u wanna paragraph-style rp , ask and maybe we can !! ive been wanting to actually , it probs would just be separate from this blog lol , i wouldnt be turning this account into a paragraph style rp blog , itd get confusing / jumbled up on tha dash
🦋 im more than happy to interact with other kuroshit characters !! ciel , lizzie , finny , sebastian , etc-- all are welcome , even if they never interacted in the anime . just remember , as stated above : alois may not always play nice ;3
🦋 as of right now , he currently has no relationships with other characters outside the household** . i havent decided if he knows ciel yet or if ciel is just that stuffy earl who barely attends any parties or does any press interviews sbxbGZBNXJXJXA
🦋 ^^^ following that : while demons do exist / claude is still a demon in the AU that is this blog's canon , things are chiller rn . if we follow the canon of the anime ciel and alois are gonna end up killing eachother pretty quickly lol , for the sake of longevity lets just ignore the part where claude and sebastian manipulate alois and ciel into turning against ecahother 🫶💕 . that isnt to say theyre bffs all of a sudden, of course . catch alois posting about how he met THE ciel phantomhive at a party and hes such a snot nosed little brat 🙄 . " guys i got stabbed 🧍🏽 " dhxjGAJFJABNFMVMVKVA
🦋 please do not godmod , or try to establish a ship without asking me ( even platonic relationships , dont just pop in like "hey its me ur best friend that you totally talk to every night remember that time we went bowling ?" ) . im not currently interested in playing with OCs but if you send enough asks you may become ur own character lol / it may just happen naturally
🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋 🦋
* he might flirt or make a dirty joke or whatever, if it would be in character for him to do so at the moment. i get it , i was also hypersexual at a young age due to trauma . thts not an invitation 2 be a creep!! u dont need 2 focus on it, or send really explicit asks !! behave !!
** if you know anything about alois , you will know what TWs this blog has . that being said , i dont anticipate things like that coming to the forefront ? it isnt something that will be focused on , not right now at least-- idk if anything super angsty is gonna happen / get brought up in tha future . THAT being said , claude is still mistreating alois and alois is still attached to him . you will be able to pick up on it if ur paying attention , but again , thats just something thats going on in the background for now
to be clear , my portrayl of their relationship here is not romanticized / fluffy / shippy ( except for maybe from alois's pov sometimes ? like omg claude is so great blah blah blah or whatever ) but i mean . lol . its pretty much canon , isnt it ? that alois loves claude , and claude does not love him back . it isnt healthy or happy and is something alois struggles with rather than being anything ~shippy~ , but again i figured i should warn for it , because while not being focused on right now it may come up later

Hello talking about boycott anon here,
i will stay anon longer, i dont want to be doxxed (with the climate and how army is moving rn it is very high probability).
sorry if this is going to be messy and all aroung the place. Hopefully it is gonna make at least some sense to you.
Not sure if you know what fanon means in fanfiction community, but it is when fans think of something/someone and fandom accepts it as the truth that happened even when it was not specifically said in the original media. this is rn i feel like. like i believed in the fanon version of bts, that army (the waters i was floating aroung at least) was presenting bts to be. someone who is believed to have their morals, to hold their ground, to care about the world.
so right now my fanon version of bts is meeting the (maybe) more real version of bts and it hurts. but that is on me letting my perception being clouded by other people views.
.
I as person with zero soft power and audience, i can scream into the void about how it is against humanity what is happening right now outside... And nothing happens. On other hand people with enormous influence are sitting it out and nothing happens...only them being used as puppets of consumerism to be able to sell out everything (the bt21 /possible/ collab with mcsht made me laugh ngl, it was not a good laugh tho...)
But at least i dont see them later doing docu ala Miss Americana about the heavy burden of power and responsibility.
In the end what as i individual think of them is not really important on the macro scale, but on my microscale letting go of the fanon version and see what they present themselves as without the interpretation of people loving and believing in them, it is freeing -> to view them as plain and simple entertainment to be consumed and moved on without any real life impact.
.
And the reason why i was more disappointed in them than every other idol working with zionists, endorsing things on boycott etc. Cuz the others were for me the mindless consumption entertainment which never had the inclination to be more than being consumed (ie i never thought of them as being pro humanity, only pro income 🤣), which may be shitty on my end to held someone on higher standard than their peers when in the end all kpop/entertainment is pro income. (As music for healing does not exists anymore).
Ps with how mr scrotum braun is moving at this point, im curious what is it is gonna take for american hybe to be put on the bds list...
Ps 2 greetings to skewed!anon
Ps3 if im still alive and around when they announce the world tour and israhell is gonna be one of the stops, im going to have aneurysm from bitter laughing...
I'm so glad you're back! This is gonna be lengthy..
Thanks for explaining what fanon means and now I get it too- what you mean. We perceive them through the way the fandom presents them. Through YT videos and tweets that praise them for each little thing, for their struggle story (which is true, but also a great way to market them).
As these perfect individuals with high morals (and they sure might be! Not negating that possibility). But like Yoongi said - everyone thinks they have the perfect sense of morality and justice. And it applies to armies as well as internet community.
We, as people have always been caught up between politics, been engaged in wars, been victims or have been enablers without much control over it. The genocide in Palestine is the first case ( esp. after october last year) wherein there has been such a widespread awareness - at least among netizens. Even the Ukraine war wasn't this talked about. And this news was bound to affect fandoms at some point.
The root cause has always been politics. And who decides which politicians are in power? Us. The people who select the leaders. Why does Israhel has immense power and is backed by the US? Because that's the kind of leaders they chose. If there are people who need to speak up, it's the local communities, the voters, the changemakers. I appreciate the road rallies and protests across the world to support the Palestinian cause.
Unfortunately, most of the discourses on the internet are useless. Unless the internet is used to gather people, form local communities, gather donors for the cause, all other debate is useless. The BDS list boycott would be so much more effective if it was done on the ground. Imagine a local area boycotting mcd. The franchise would be shutdown- people would hear about it in the nearby areas and get curious.
But what happens when 2000 people from different cities of the world 'like' a post asking for boycott of mcd? Nothing. What happens when a post cancelling a kpop idol over McD gets 10k likes? Umm.. nothing. And this would still be fine if this energy translated to local awareness. But is that happening? I live in a big city and people here still go to starbcks, order mcd, burger king etc etc. All educated folks, all with access to the internet.
Companies will always be pro-income. That's why the only way to get them to divest is to affect their income. Start by shutting down their stores one by one. In my country, if you speak against israhell, some people might jump you or call you crazy because they are straight up islamophobes. That's why all i can do is quietly boycott.
If Hybe makes it to bds list.. I'll say goodbye to being a hard-core army. I'll still enjoy their songs and performances (from official channels) but i won't invest my time and money anymore.
That's why..(coming to your point now lol), it's best to see them as musicians only. Just musicians. What are we even gonna achieve by harassing an active duty soldier? SOLDIER!! A job that they are forced to do, btw. They are not saviours of humanity and they never will be. Their UNICEF campaign was also *business*. Literally to promote their album and massive tour. Yes they cared for the cause, but it was not for funsies or their main goal. It was for longevity as artists. Them donating to BLM was also caring for the cause because it was a massive movement at that time. If they were not in military, i believe they would have even donated to the Palestinian victims if other celebrities were also donating.
Israhell as world tour stop.. wouldn't that be 'love myself' ( as a genocide supporter) to another level? Lol. That would suck so bad..if that happens. But then again..it SHOULDN'T suck so bad because why attach your happiness to the moralities of businessmen?
What Palestine is facing right now is the collective result of Islamophobia propagated by the US around the world for years. Through their news, by calling them terrorists, by inciting other countries, by supporting genocides. This is the result of being complicit. And this goes to all people around the world. You should have chosen your leaders wisely. The reason Israhell is so powerful is because countries have been investing in it, in return for defence resources exchange, using the excuse of "donation to israhell victims of hamas terrorism".
Anyway.. *sigh*
You can DM me, you won't be doxxed chill. Upto you of course.
And I hope you stay happy and healthy:)

Greetings folks! This time i have both a advance naval drone and a security breach: meet MANTA RAY Drone.. 🎶I fly in water, lil' Manta Devilfish Manta..🎶 anyways.. :)
First things first this system is a UUV (Unmanned Undersea Vehicle) in 2021 weirdly enough Darpa has started a research program for inspecting the behaviors of adult mantas and measuring them.. specifically.. and just few mounts later we heard a project that grumman and darpa has a project on a demonstration called Aerodynamic Analysis of Manta Ray Inspired Fixed and Flapping-Wing Drones for High Altitude
A submerged vehicle design to deceive radars and sonars and surveillance enemy vessels stealthly. Appearantly we dont know *cant say* its technical capabilities much but this system is kinda effective for deceiving visual and sonar scans of submarine and large vessels by its shape. Clever right? something of a project that should be hidden from any surveillance right?
i mean.. image explains itself.. Apparently, our folks at google has breach the rules of agreement of censoring the military bases.. Again..
and just guess what happened right after..
but right after this article is posted they made a 360 view of the vehicle
youtube
im not gonna say anything more this thing is become more ridiculous with every thing they add up to..
a little personal note: we are literally dancing with media, bringing multiple false topics each time we are infront of a interview and sometimes even disguise ourselves each time we are outside, using multiple layers of layers online security measures to hide a fucking 3d printer's existence and when i see something like this.. i cant help it and LOSE MY MİND!! Dude, god please at least do something regards to meaningless and useless NDA of yours!!
phew.. im ok! im fine..

I'm the fandom headcanon discourse anon! And yeah I fully agree with your addition!
More thoughts about this: I read a post in the BG3 fandom a couple months ago on how you can pick any voice regardless of your character's genitalia. They said that while it was nice trans inclusivity, it doesn't actually represent the full scope of what trans people sound like. It sort of moved me, and I wish we had more of that in general!
Not to say that trans people can never pass because that's absolutely wrong, but I wish it wasn't so universally treated as the absolute endgoal of being trans. I wish the full spectrum of bodies that comes with being trans or cis was represented in media.
And also that people didn't immediately headcanon characters who fail to very strictly conform to gender roles as "trans people who aren't there just yet" or "trans people who you can clock as trans because they act/look like their agab". It's super uncomfortable. I think there is a lot of worth to be found in respectfully representing early transition trans people/trans people who dont care about passing, but it just feels like fandom spaces are enforcing gender roles instead of supporting that. I don't think it's healthy to have that level of scrutiny over the way people simply exist.
I don't think people stop and think about why they associate thinness, whiteness and youthfulness with femininity both outside and within trans circles. There is this mentality of thinking that as soon as something is lgbtq its absolutely morally pure, and I truly hate it! People should be more critical of things!
But anyway feel free to use those thoughts for your video!!! I wish to remain anonymous but I'm happy I can help you with it.
you are so right anon..!!!
Passing is not the end-goal for many trans people, myself included. It honestly kinda bothers me that the go to compliment for trans people is "you pass so well!" cause like.. unless the person in question was specifically asking if they pass or not or felt like they don't and it bothers them.. it's kinda weird. I've seen so many trans people make posts talking about the fact they don't care about passing or don't want to but people STILL comment "omg but you pass so well!" cause to them passing is the ultimate goal for us and they cannot fathom someone being comfortable and happy in their visible transness.
All trans people deserve to be represented and heard. We're all individuals with different goals and needs for our bodies and identities. Listen to the individual! So many people who know I'm trans for some reason always ask each other things about me instead of just asking ME. And it's just lead to no one understanding who I really am and it's so hard to correct them anymore. It's like a game of telephone.. really does not help I was outed to my entire outer family even though I told the person who did it I wanted to tell them all on my own terms and one at a time so it could be personal. but whatever.
I've had many people in my life comment things like "if you're a boy why do you still wear skirts? why do you carry a purse? why do you have long hair? why do you paint your nails?" etc etc and it made me dysphoric not because those things made me feel that way.. but the fact my identity was questioned purely based on my interests and clothing. Why can't I just say I'm a boy without it being questioned? I wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it.
Anyway, sorry got a little personal there but I guess my feelings on this matter are very personal so.. ahem.
And yeah I totally agree with the point of people believing things to be 100% pure and good when it has even a little bit of LGBTQ+ representation in it. It's a huge problem with media literacy I think. There are plenty of extremely bad and problematic medias out there that have queer rep in them but I still see people praise them for purely HAVING queer people in it. Meanwhile god forbid a media have nuance and subtext and coding instead of blatant representation and suddenly its the worst and most problematic thing in history for not saying anything outright..
What makes a trans headcanon offensive or not is down to the context of the character.
For example. Say you have a character who's interests do not align with the traditional things their agab "should" enjoy. They have a big character arc about being their agab while still enjoying these things because their interests don't effect their gender identity at all.. this is a character who is offensive to headcanon as trans.. (atleast when you try to make their gender identity align with their interests instead of the identity they heavily express in the media. like hcing a male character who wears skirts as a transman is fine imo cause it doesn't change his gender identity, which in this case, is very important to him.)
Now this time we have a character who has no arcs relating to gender identity or expression of anything like that. if you headcanon this character as a trans it is 100% okay! There's no gender roles to point to here!! you're just having fun!!
Then we have an ambiguous character, a character who doesn't particularly care about being treated one way or the other and just enjoys what they enjoy which happens to be different than what they are "expected" to like based on their agab. This character is also fine to hc as trans cause obviously their gender identity isn't that important to them.
And finally the most offensive. This character is heavily implied to be a trans already. They express gender problems relating to being trans one way but people read this and somehow cannot fathom that a trans character has ALREADY transitioned (socially and/or medically) and assumes this means the character is a trans the other way. Ignoring all the obvious signs and coding that they are, in fact, very wrong. Because a lot of people these days have no media literacy or reading comprehension. (also works for nonbinary characters where people insist upon them being binary one way or the other which is.. annoying(such as Crona from Soul Eater))
Anyway SORRY I RAMBLED FOR AWHILE LMAO ahem ahem thank you for offering your thoughts for my video on the topic! It's good to get other peoples opinions and thoughts on it cause I don't want it to be one-sided and only from my pov lol I hope everything I said makes sense idk I have a bit of a headache lmao
#nil rambles#asks#i love my brother but also i hate when he comes over cause he smokes and i cannot get the smell OUT OF MY NOSE#GIVING ME A HEADACHE I WANNA DIE#if i come back and read this and it makes no sense btw no one can blame me cause i have a headache and can barely focus my eyes#cause headache make astigmatism worse and font small and HARD TO READ.#it took me like an hour to write this i think i ate in the middle of it IMDFSJGKHS#im opening my window maybe that will help

I cant say i know of any police force or anything like it that doesn't have corruption. They are all prone to it.
But not all are as bad as in america. There are some places where the police in general are alot more trust worthy, and corruption and horrible people are dealt with better.
So in some places its not nearly as much of an issue because its not so out of control like it is in america. Its not seen as evil to become a police officer, and depending on the circumstances i guess they actually do their job properly and dont causebso much trouble.
Then theres the part where its just fantasy. Alot of people like reading about police actually being good people, whether its for the action and crime solving, or because its nice to pretend and think about how life would be if police were good. Americans take this as some sort of "pro-police propaganda" when all it is, is a fantasy.
Yeah, I'm not denying that some countries have less/handle corruption better than in America. But at the same time, making a blanket statement of "other countries don't have the same pesky problems with corruption" kind of undermines that entire point.
Like, I'm fully aware that other countries have better relationships with the police than in America. That doesn't mean that there are no other countries in which cops are not corrupt or violate human rights besides America. We see this all the time in Britain, France, and Hong Kong with their recent protests. I feel like this is a really boiled down argument of "America has some of the worst known racism in the world!" while other countries are just as racist, it's just that America is, arguably, the most vocal about said racism.
I think, no matter what media you watch, it's going to be colored by your personal experiences. That's a fundamental part of critical thinking when watching shows and discussing them with others. And unfortunately for others, a large (and very vocal) portion of most English-based social media websites are used by Americans, whose experiences are 1) they live in a country where cops regularly abuse their authority and 2) the media in their country depict human rights violations as a good thing, so long as a Good Cop is doing it. Even "fantasy" media in the US about "what if cops were fun and quirky" still has them depicting rights violations as a good thing (ie Brooklyn 99), so USAmericans are primed to watch any media with police involved and have a biased stance (which can be stupid, especially when they apply US-specific laws to non-US shows, that's something even I'm not cool with).
With all of that being said, I don't think that all media ever has to depict things "realistically." You can absolutely watch fun cops shows that indulge in that fantasy of "what if cops were Good, Actually" and separate that from reality. This isn't a perfect 1:1 match here, but I don't watch Tokyo Mew Mew and think Ichigo should sue Ryou and the Mew Project for altering her DNA without her permission, which is a massive violation of her autonomy because... it's a magical girl anime. Similarly, though I talk about RWBY and all the various crimes the main protagonists commit, I defend Ironwood and his military in that show because they actually do stuff right until the writers did a heel turn in V8 in order to make Ironwood look like he's insane and lost his mind. However, those ideas of Cops/Government Being Shitty still exist and can be discussed, though there wouldn't be much to gain from beating a dead horse.
Long, dumb rant aside, I think you can totally watch any country's version of a cop show and have fun with it. You can also complain about others taking media too seriously, so long as you aren't a massive asshole to others about it. My problem with the submitter's points were based on the premise "these things don't happen outside of America" which is just completely untrue, and it derails the entire argument as a result.
#none of this is even touching upon the OTHER point that submitter brought up#about how ''anime doesn't need a more diverse cast because it's appealing to an asian audience''#which is a point that makes SOME sense but still feels bad and i'm not even going to bother touching it#point is i think the general idea of separating fiction from reality is good#and yes: americans are loud and annoying about what happens in media and it's fine to be fed up with them#it's just that all the examples they brought up were complete shit#and REALLY circumstantial at best/ignorant-sounding at worst

Let’s talk about •••
••• Spirit Work
Pt.1/2
• Spirit Work 101
Spirit Work is a term that was coined very recently, mostly having an upsurge with the new age witchcraft in social medias - that is not to say that the practice of communicating with spirits is new, rather, that such a term can be used in an overgeneralized manner. That in turn leads to misinformation about the topic.
•• So, what is Spirit Work?
Broadly, it is seen as a witchcraft practice where a person uses their abilities to communicate with spirits - people who have passed, guides, ancestors and such. What the term doesn’t clarify is that there are a multitude of ways in doing that, from religious practices to self developed methods as well as the target audience of that spirit work.
Taking a look at the word spirit we find the first divergence of intent: those stated before all fall in the category of deceased human spirits; then we have those who through their animistic or similar beliefs include the spirits of animals and all beings (and “things”) who once lived. Then, we have another category, those that communicate with the otherworldly and nature centred beings that have passed (though most commonly those are still alive), such as the Fae. Others include communication with deities in this practice, and lastly, we have another modality of those that work with the essence of spirits, be they dead or alive - they are included for they too have soul. • This is the first break, and as such themes and different styles of practitioners can already be found, most commonly used are Mediums, Healers, Channelers, Communicators.
Outside of that, we have believers and followers of certain religions that also have this designated space for that type of communication, though I won’t go into detail for this, Norse Paganism, Spiritism and African Traditional and Descending Religions, are some of them.
••• So, no, it is not a bad thing that this practice has been disseminated and made accessible to all practitioners, witches, pagans and heathens out there - but one must always take a step back and analyze the information they have as well as the intent they will follow in this path.
Spirit Work is no game, it can have serious consequences and that should not discourage you to try - rather, encourage you to be attentive and take it seriously.
• What not to do
This here, at least for me (but feel free to add on or disagree, the beauty of the community are the different methods after all) - are some of the absolute don’ts when practicing Spirit Work, divided in two topics as there is a theoretical and a practical side to it.
• Theoretical
Don’t immediately go following any instructions, no matter if they explicitly are for summoning, inviting or channeling or just imply that it’ll make your communication with spirits easier.
Because: You need to be 100% aware of what exactly you are doing, though there are some good sources, it is always good to double and even triple check ingredients, intents and procedures before starting anything.
Don’t begin anything if you don’t have contingency plans and a way to clear a possible mess up.
Because: When doing this type of work, you are the only thing you have control of - spirits can be volatile, especially if you’re starting communication with ones you never had contact with before. Plan ahead and certify yourself that even if something goes out of what was expected you'll be able to deal with it.
• Practical
Don’t call forth anything that you have no idea what and who exactly it is.
Because: There are opportunistic spirits that excel in impersonating. If your intentions are unclear when channeling or inviting someone or something they can and will take the chance. Be clear about who you are working with.
Don’t be rude or insistent towards spirits.
Because: Spirits deserve respect, and as such, you won’t want to anger an immaterial being just because of impatience. Treat them as you would like to be treated. Being firm doesn’t mean being rude.
Don’t keep your sensitivity channel open, if you can.
Because: The Spirit World is everywhere, and it exists alongside our material World. When working with spirits you’ll see that there are moments you need to distance yourself otherwise the input will be constant. Learn how to control and lock your sensitivity as it is being developed to minimize bothersome encounters or overload of inputs.
Don’t do your Spirit Work in any place - reserve a specific place for it.
Because: Not only is this a sign of respect towards the spirits you’ll be communicating with, but it also makes it easier for you to control, cleanse and protect that environment.
•• How to
Preparation and Protection
After that many Dont´s, we finally go towards the Do´s. Let me get this right, I by nature am extremely paranoid, and due to that I find preparation and protection essential to control variables, be confident and to keep calm - like this, I don’t fear the unknown nor the uncontrollable because one way or another I'm ready for it.
Now, once again, these preparatory and protective steps will depend a lot on what method of Spirit Work you’re practicing, but some of them are pretty universal and these are the one’s I’ll be passing on to you.
• To Prepare
A spirit worker's body and spirit must always be clear, attentive and sensible. To prepare you must do whatever rituals pertain to your practice, that prepare you emotionally, psychologically and spiritually to deal and work with spirits.
This might include meditation, trance work, cleansing rituals and so on - this takes off the layer of mundane impressions that could marr your interpretation and leave you like a clean slate through which the Spirit’s voice can be clearly understood.
Your working space should also be clean on any influencing energies, organized and quiet enough (or loud enough depending on your vertent) for you to focus solely on the presence you’ll be working with.
I particularly find that asking for permission and guidance from my guides always makes this preparation process easier, as that is their realm and their ponctuations, advice and warnings are always welcome.
• Being Protected
There are three points of protection: Your Body (which is the conductor of your energy), Your Mind (which contains your Spirit - though not all beliefs follow this) and Your House (or de place you do your Spirit work).
These three should be duly protected and warded as you see fit before you start your spirit work. Methods for those vary as they can be easily found around the internet, in books and such. I wouldn’t be able to tell you which method of protection and warding you’ll prefer, which you’ll absolutely trust to work and which will be ideal to your specific target audience with spirit work but, one advice: Never share all ingredients nor steps of your protection and warding spells.
You may realize that I rarely, if ever, post spells. The answer is simple: any spell can be counteracted, especially if people know everything you used.
And trust me when I say that these protection and warding spells of your for Spirit Working are ones you wouldn’t like to be tampered with.
•••• 👁 ••••
For now that’s it, this post was very broad as I talked about general warnings and things of importance that precede the practice of Spirit Working. It’ll be a short series of posts, with only two.
The second one will be more action centered, most likely bigger with explanations of what to do in each case of spirit working. Till then, yeah?

This is one of those reblogs where I just want to ramble and its totally fine if you prefer to reblog the non ramble addition post, I get it, to be honest. But anyways.
I just want to talk about why I want you to think of us (and hopefully turn that thinking into appreciation and inclusion of our voices, and fighting for us when people around you are shitty about us.)
First of all not all of the post is specifically about me, but many parts, I just added on some things that I think heavily relate to it. And for context before autism regression the only part of this that really fit is the struggle to be outside alone part. So I do have the perspective of different point of views of autism so to speak. And I the grass is Not greener on this side.
And I found that while a lot of people stereotype autistics like me, like my friends, that's where it all begins and ends. A lot of them arent even aware they are stereotyping autistic people with their mockery... with the public image of autism ever so slowly but surely being dominated by savant type media representation over the past years, that and the grunting self injuring person accompanied by a carer or parent doesnt really fit into that label to many people. They think of us as simply, the r slur, people with ID, stuff like that. I'm not offended by being related to someone with ID, but I must point out its incorrect that everyone who presents like me, my friends or "more severe" has ID. I dont. This is all pure autism, babey.
So it's a stereotype at most, usually. Someone to stare at in public. To make jokes about. The few people who know us as autistic from rarer media representation, or maybe they have a relative like us, something like that.
But that's where I feel like the consideration by everyone, who is not immediately involved in care of us, that we exist ends. We are not included in research, generally. Like the medical community is aware we exist, sure, but they just seem to mostly want to ignore it, at least from a research perspective. In general studies we arent included, and in the very few studies on things that are "my" version of autism (or more severe), something like that, it's all the smallest sample sizes you've ever seen, and it's mostly just a couple case reports in a trench coat. No brain scans, no reaction time tested on fancy computer set ups, eye tracking, nothing. "Hey, these people exist I guess", maybe a mean IQ score thrown in there, not much more.
So what do they know about actually helping us? Not that much, to be honest.
Media representation has played a big part in how people perceive the autistic community, but the self advocacy movement undoubtedly has also played a huge part. And I find that I just. Dont really relate to most of it, if any. Which is sort of fine? Not everything has to be about yourself after all. But so much about the advocacy movement seems to hinge on either at the very least disconnecting from us or worse, erasing us. "Dont infantilize autistics because we are adults who work and date and go out and understand language just like you" ... well not all of us do, actually. And we are still autistic, and we still dont deserve to be infantilized. I feel it all sort of started as "not all autistic people act like your 5 year old autistic nephew" (true) but suddenly turned into "autism never makes you violent / need care like help toileting , eating , bathing , .../ unable understand jokes / ... " (very much not true). "Autistic people are smarter than allistic people!" We are more likely to have ID than allistics. "Autistic people are more this/ more that/ ..." but I promise you did not include many autistic people in that sentence. Why are you not even aware of them??? And I dont think demanding the large part of self advocacy movement to not actively try to erase people like me, and labeled more severe, is expecting too much.
We still get neglected, abused, sometimes killed by family. Being recognized as disabled does not actually protect you from that.
And none of that has even touched about how lonely this can feel, how painful, without any of the outside influence at all. Without anyone trying to erase my existence, I still feel sad looking at university students, thinking how much I would like to be like that. I still feel sad looking at my allistic sister traveling all over the world, taking planes by herself, raising a child, working a job or sometimes two. Meanwhile I'm 22 and I spend most of my days in bed because I dont work or study, I struggle to move, I struggle to go outside, I struggle to keep myself clean and fed, I struggle to connect to people. And often I fail.
And I can sort of count on one hand the big autistic creators who I've seen ever seriously advocate for someone like me, who isn't even HSN and only MSN. They are what many people look to for information, people who will interact with us as well. And we dont even get a mention unless it is to be erased (sounds paradoxical, I know)
This autism month please remember those of us who:
need verbal prompting (someone telling us each single, small step to a task) or hands on help for things like showering, getting dressed, cooking simple meals, using a toilet ....
who struggle to go outside alone or cant do it all, not out of fear or no motivation or anything but because we keep getting lost and cant find our way back, because the outside world is like a blurry maze that never becomes more logical no matter how many times we have walked that street, because we need help with mobility aids, or can not understand that cars are dangerous, other people can be dangerous, ...
whose bodies dont listen to what our brains tell it to do. Whose bodies throw things when we didnt tell it to, told it to stop. Who hit our head against the walls while wishing we could stop. Whose bodies freeze when we tell it to move. Not just for a task we are unable to start, but any movement at all. I dont mean when i'm stuck scrolling through my phone thinking about how much i should do that task but cant, I mean when im sitting on the kitchen floor and staring into space for an hour unable to even lift my hand to scratch my nose.
Those of us that will never work a job outside of sheltered workshops, if at all.
Who drool and scream and jump and hum and rock in the waiting room at the doctors office, on public transport, ...

hi im asking u this bc u seem to be bee duo enthusiast so
ive been calling c! beeduos relationship platonic because i thought that was what their cc’s said, and i thought they had said that they were uncomfortable with ppl shipping the characters. But ive seen a lot of posts that say their relationship is canonically romantic? and i absolutely do not want to come across as homophobic by watering down a mlm relationship to just friends because that happens so much in media so.
what is the canon state of their relationship / ur opinions on the platonic thibg
dont worry abt answering if u dont want to!! i see a lot of differing opinions and i trust yours :)
aw it’s totally fine, im flattered you asked me about this!
let me put it simply: it’s a whole mess, lol.
first im going to talk about what’s happened fandom-wide that caused differing opinions, and then i’ll explain my own opinion/interpretation. :]
(this got really fucking long im so sorry)
ranboo and tubbo initially proclaimed the relationship was romantic, specifically in argument with the wiki editors who had set it as platonic by default. (you can see this in the vod where they decide they’re canonically married— it’s very funny. chat tells them the marriage is already on the wiki, they check, tubbo is jokingly offended that it says platonic and asks if he needs to up the romance).
tubbo also makes jokes about adultry, which sort of implies the relationship is not necessarily a platonic one.
(theres definetly more in that stream alone but it’s been a long time since i watched it so i don’t remember a lot of it.)
the wiki, because of this, suffers from going back and forth on platonic and romantic, seemingly unsure where the joke ends and the canon begins, or if its canonically a joke! a mess, as you can already tell.
this gets more complicated as the marriage bit goes on: outsiders, such as phil and scott, both at one point say “platonic marriage”, which then ranboo and tubbo agree with. however, when chat asks them if they’re platonic, they say the opposite. so there is a lot of confusion there.
there’s also the difficulty of being able to tell streamers and characters apart. ranboo and tubbo both don’t like being shipped irl, and that’s their boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed. (they’re also minors, but tbh when they’re 18 in a year i will still be following their boundaries regardless of their legal age).
due to people not wanting to be accused of minor shipping, they started adding the platonic tone indicator to most of their drawings— basically a way of saying “no homo”. meanwhile, tubbo frequently on stream flirts with ranboo and makes quite a bit of nsfw comments towards him that are frankly hilarious.
this goes on for a while with nobody really sure what’s canon, but a lot of people assuming it’s probably platonic, until: the drama of the mods night. a few mods dmed all the wiki editors telling them ranboo wanted his canon character relationship officially set to platonic.
unfortunately for those mods; the very same day, a few hours later, ranboo on stream makes fun of puffy delivering him and tubbo “friendship flowers”. because, and i quote, “bruh. we’re literally married. this must be how the ancient greeks felt.”
in case you don’t know, the internet often jokes about how historians will call ancient greeks ‘very good friends’ when they are quite obviously gay. so in this context, ranboo is joking that people will call him and c!tubbo, who are married, “close friends”, when he doesn’t think they are.
basically, ranboo canonized romantic bee duo, the very same day the mods told everyone he’d wanted a platonic one.
chaos and drama immediately erupted everywhere. on tumblr, we were talking about how weird it was of his mods to do something like that without asking him first. we ALSO talked about how weird it was of them to assume that ranboo can’t make his own decisions, or assume teenagers cannot be in relationships without it being sexual. twitter did the same thing but in the opposite direction: called ranboo mods homophobic, or said they were mad ranboo felt pressured into making a romantic relationship canon ‘just so people could have mlm rep.’
i dont want to go into detail about the drama that happened that night because apparently official people follow me and i dont want to stir it up or have them come “clarify” things. im just saying what we talked about.
ranboo in typical ranboo fashion apologized quickly and seriously. he was deeply sorry for possibly offending anyone with how he’d portrayed his rp relationship with tubbo, and he also assured everyone the mod thing was just a miscommunication.
he said he would talk to tubbo and they’d decide once and for all whether it was platonic or romantic, and then announce so everyone would know.
it’s now been a few months and we've had no word from them on that development. we still have no clue.
-
now, here’s my opinion:
i want to take ranboos word for it that it was a miscommunication with his mods, but... we had it on good authority from people on the wiki team and people in the discord with the mods that (while it was happening) they were really going after the wiki admins, and also made some weird comments about it. that combined with the way ranboo seemingly had no clue (considering he canonized their romance that very same day).... it’s very. sus of the mods.
then there’s the canon we’ve got since then. although occasionally adults in the room have called it a “platonic marriage” and tubbo once (back when it first started) called it a “plankton tectonic” marriage, in roleplay it’s been... kind of not that. tubbo and ranboo make nsfw jokes about each other in character, and their characters also share a master bedroom and bed in the mansion. there's also the way c!tommy really thinks it’s a romance between them as well, and they agree with and play off that— for instance confirming that they “fell in love” when he asked, or ranboo confirming that they “make out on occasion”.
people will still put platonic on their art and posts, imo, because they’re worried about breaking ranboo and tubbo’s irl boundaries by looking like they ship them. or even just being accused of shipping real life minors. and that’s a valid fear to have.
the thing is though: c!bee duo are not cc!bee duo. they’re roleplay characters. cc!bee duo are not okay with being shipped, but they made their characters get canonically married, and call each other “husbands”. so it’s okay to write the word “husband” in your comic without adding “platonic” to it, i promise.
telling the ccs that their characters have to be platonic is... weird. it comes off as not only babying them, but also as saying teens can’t date without it being gross. which isn’t true.
(this is why seeing people overuse “platonic husband” so much bothers me. like, they ARE husbands. you can just say it. what are you trying to hide...?)
-
do i think they’re canonically romantic? ehh, its likely. it’s still okay to interpret them as platonic, because again, it’s hard to tell where jokes end and roleplay begins. like, maybe it’s jokes in the rp too, and c!bee duo are just friends. friends can and should be allowed to make jokes like that with each other! aro & ace marriages exist!
or, maybe it’s actually part of the rp, and they’re very much romantic. we don’t know!
some people say they could be a qpr (queerplatonic romance), which i could see. (a qpr is a relationship that fluctuates between, or can’t quite be sorted into, “romantic” and “platonic”. people in a qpr can do romantic things while having platonic feelings for each other). in my opinion this is a very valid interpretation as well!
-
CONCLUSION (sorry this got so long omfg):
are c!bee duo romantic?
its likely, but you can still interpret them however you like!
should i put /p on bee duo content?
ehhh? i find it annoying when it’s overused (as do others), but if you’re worried you can. its up to preference. putting it too much is weird though
should i put /p on things cc! bee duo do?
no. you’re not the one saying it so you can’t decide the tone tags for that. imagine you said something to your friend and a random stranger came up and was like “haha but that was /p right...?”
can i ship c!bee duo?
mmm. i’m not sure on this one. they are canonically married and very flirtatious, but the ccs don’t like being shipped and they’re close enough to being the ccs that actively shipping might be against boundaries.
can i treat c!bee duo as romantic?
yes. literally just don’t be weird about it. it’s not that hard! you can understand that two characters are husbands without making it weird
here’s the most important thing: boundaries. cc bee duo still haven’t told us what their preferences and canon is about this whole thing.
right now, i am assuming based on what they already show us they’re comfortable with, but! the second they give us any more info! all these opinions will change!
i am only going off what they do. i would never want to cross boundaries at all. i just wish they would make theirs a little more clear.
..... i hope that helped anon, i went way off the rails... i need to go to sleep.
#it’s late im so sorry for how much i rambled and wrote#i hope this helps you#bee duo#og post#there’s probably so many spelling errors i need to go to bed#i tried to fix some spelling so reblog this one ig#and not the old one
