Comic redraws!

trying out my new tablet with some IDW comic panel redraws. (This entire arc broke me. i kinda knew it was coming, but still!)

Anyways! new tablet? holy shit. idk how it does it. I feel like i was trying to draw with my elbow for the past several years and only just got the pen in my hand. Or like, i was cutting vegetables with a super dull knife and someone handed me a sharp one. it feels so much better than my Gaomon i had! theres less variation with my lines and i don't have to undo every other line. (don't even get me started on the screen size.) anyways, i'm in love with it. (XP-Pen artist 22R pro if anyone is curious.)

gushing over my new tablet aside, i have a lot of stuff planned to draw now that i have it. so look forward to that.

I'm being like astoundingly social lately. Starting from Thursday last week, I saw my girlfriend, then spent time with family on Friday, then saw my girlfriend again on Saturday + some of her friends, then watched a movie and drew stuff with friends on Sunday, then had a session 0 for new dnd on Monday, then watched anime with a friend on Tuesday. Off day on Wednesday. Then on THURSDAY I hung out with my girlfriend, had a study session with friend group (with mixed success at the studying part), AND watched anime with a friend again. And then today, watched a different anime with a different friend.

And TOMORROW I'm going to a concert with family and a friend, Sunday I'm hanging out with my girlfriend, then Monday I've got dnd thing again (probably? Need to double check). And then potentially more hangouts to come.

It's insane. What is this new social me. I don't think I've ever hung out with this many different people in such a short time before.

update stuff

because friday is my art posting day i've literally been in a conundrum about stuff... like not every commission that comes my way is some big bitch!!! and i kinda built a brand for awhile on posting my big beautiful catgirl on fridays. im slowly working through like. doing this stuff As A Job™ (which is insanely difficult believe me) while still being aware that im on a time limit because i'll be back at school in the fall...

but im almost through my queue! i'll be starting my last wips tomorrow and then probably reopening slots early on in the week! once im through this current queue honestly i'm probably gonna. not do stuff for a week or so as i take care of other stuff (i have a completely different job in ttrpg work, believe it or not).

the next batch of commission slots will be a bit pricier than the last and there'll be fewer, but its moreso because at my current rate its just not tenable! after i open slots again towards the end of this month, i'll probably open them one last time towards the latter half of august and that'll be it for the summer. i might take one or two here and there throughout the proceeding school year, but in all actuality im probably staring down the barrel of the most stressful one i've ever had.

I keep debating moving my fic release schedule to only releasing a work weekly to allow my fics a little more time to breathe. The problem is that I just get so excited after I finish a work that I want to share it with you guys immediately and it's super hard for me to wait.
