I haven't seen any hate or negative comments directly, I've only seen people discuss the negativity and this is not meant to come across defensive but I wanted to write out some of my thoughts cause why not lol

some things that stood out to me about the travel show include confirmation again about the thing I keep saying is that jikook make the effort to understand and care for each other (and as a side note I find it so hilarious that people are so determined to misunderstand them) for example when jimin said he knew it had to be him to make the travel show happen. what this means (I think) is that he pushed the idea forward so that it actually became a reality (with the implication that it would not have been jungkook to do that). it's so funny that people wanna say this means that jungkook doesn't care about jimin when that is not true at all and such a wild thing to imply (if it was true, jimin would know by now and he would not try. also jungkook would keep rejecting jimin's ideas). if you look at it from jungkook's perspective it undoubtedly feels really nice to have someone care this much about you. they know each other well and they care for each other a ton which is just so obvious. jimin had no problem pushing to make it happen and he actually /did/ which says a lot. they know what they need to do for each other and they actually do it which is a massive deal to be quite honest.

I do not agree at all that jungkook was 'off' and the whole thing about people always claiming that he's off around jimin makes me lowkey uncomfortable at this point tbh. for whatever reason people really struggle accepting that jungkook is human and that he doesn't mask his emotions 24/7 and that his emotions fluctuate throughout the day like everyone else's. when he's around jimin people expect him to have one flat emotion (happy) for some reason and also expect that nothing else outside of jimin would affect his emotions somehow. like that's wild to me. and funny in a way cause once again this show has shown that jimin reads jungkook's emotions well and when jungkook gets mad or upset about things like falling off that bleeding kayak he responds in a way that will help jk get over it. you have to be pretty close to someone to be able to do that, js. if he's upset about something and he happens to be around jimin, it's not jimin he's upset with but that is literally what people are saying and that's so beyond ridiculous. again to be around someone you don't have to put up a front for and can say whatever you want and tease each other knowing you won't offend each other fr shows closeness jfc.

personally in the car in episode 1 at the start I see jungkook holding himself back a little but he probably would've preferred to talk more with jimin when they're not being filmed, then they got distracted when they did stuff so he seemed more relaxed after a while. but I think them talking about what happened when they weren't seeing each other etc., I think jungkook would've preferred to discuss that off camera, like talking about missing each other and stuff like that, that he probably wanted to say off cam. even if I completely disregard that opinion, they did not seem awkward to me at all at any point. I think I've been off twitter for so long and have not seen the fandom chatter for so long that it doesn't affect me any longer which feels great but sometimes I really wonder how much people think for themselves vs think based on what they read about other people's perception. and that's funny to say given I just wrote down my own perceptions but really I think people online state and word things as if they were facts and I'm sure that affects a lot of people subconsciously. so all of this is just my opinion but if you actually try to put yourself in jikook's shoes without any preconceived ideas, knowing them to be the friends that they are, it's pretty easy to see how much they care about each other.

i mainly base my iterations of him (rise, mm and the space 2012) on 2003 which i stated and made clear multiple times here

so most if not all of the leosagi started with 2003, makes sense, its the most he ever interacts with leo in the franchise, they have lots of great dialogue and an interesting dynamic

you wanna know what else this iteration started?

making them the same age range by showing it in a flashback the same arc he is introduced in

right there you can clearly see hes a kid in the same time the turtles were, the artstyle itself does make it confusing at times but like, even hearing him with the akward voice acting this is a kid (0:0 to 0:55)

they even refer to him as "young samurai" still in training

but thats not enough for you? fine, lets look at the comic design

now what are some of the main things that show up in his design?

the mifune crests

now lets look at the comics!

in the second chapter of volume 1 we get to see a teen usagi a couple years into his training, before working for mifune, what do we see here?

he still doesnt have his scar and mifune crests

he gains those after become a proper samurai, now we can look at history and see that a samurai was able to be trained as young as 15-16, assuming that was usagis age range we can reasonably line it up with the timeline of him serving mifune for a couple years, becoming a proper samurai then eventually losing him and gaining his scar

if we look at canon hes implied to be in his early 20s at most in the comics themselves (the artstyle just isnt kind to him), which is why i dont draw that iteration as leosagi, just draw inspiration from the character writing for usagi

now lets look at the 2003 design!

the main things that one can use to differentiate between his life as a teenager vs an adult are missing!

"oh but the scar is just stylized, and the crests arent there for simplifying the design"

actually nope! the animators made a concious decision on his design, shown in multiple angles that its a weird eyebrow shape and not an actual scar!

and tomoe's design shows that also shows they very much could add the crests and chose not to, which makes sense as this iteration has the most canon accurate to the comics take on usagis world

and what did i make sure to incorporate into my usagi design? thats right!

no scar or crests in sight!

Allegedly Archwell, is rumoured to be under investigation by the Feds and IRS. There’s the matter of the missing millions from Archwell, and failure to declare it. BUT BUT BUT there’s also the matter of the Harkles, Meghan in particular uttering death threats across state lines, as part of an FBI cyber bullying investigation. This latter charge relates to the extreme bullying and harassment Catherine underwent during her cancer diagnosis and treatment. Catherine allegedly received some really nasty death threats while she was secluded from the public, at the height of the ‘Wheres Kate’ psychodrama online. Remember William went to visit M15 and it was publicized everywhere?? Two card readers, Mad World Tarot included, did a reading that showed the 3 of pentacles card, involvement through a third party. I wonder if they were able to trace the financial angle ie payment from Archwell. Or one of the third party, ie the death threat poster, probably squealed about his motivation and bosses. MWT saw William’s energy behind this. They truly thought online threats were untraceable. Consequences people consequences.

Avid Gardener and Trevor Coult on YouTube has the woman accused of trying to bomb Buckingham Palace brought up on charges against them. She made the threat on Twitter brazenly and openly. She’s also issued death threats to Avid and her husband and had bullied Trevor out of his charity job and home. She’s been named in the press as Diane Durham, 62, and she’s an immense sugar. Stupid woman pleaded not guilty after first admitting everything. It moves on to the high court for sentencing. I think the police are concurrently investigating the YouTube harassment claims. She stands to lose her house to Trevor in damages. I have no sympathy. Consequences people consequences.

On a related topic Lady C will most likely take go fund me to court because of the illegal reopening of her money raising drive for Mr thomas Markle Snr. She alleges that someone with connections had go fund me reopen the fundraiser after it was closed as per her contract with them, and called the newspaper to accuse her of fraud, all within the space of a few days. First she threatened the newspaper with a lawsuit if they ran the story, and then she threatened go fund me after they tried to brush her off, by telling her they couldn’t identify the member of staff of go fund me due to privacy reasons. She’s not having it AT ALL. And will see them in court. She strongly hints that she suspects Meghan and Harry are behind it, again through third parties. There’s also a threat by the UK bullied staff to be released from their NDAs to speak on camera about Meghan’s Bullying Report buried by the Queen. A Toxic Lesson Part 2 (Kurt X Y/N)

A/N: After promising it forever, I finally bare you a part 2. I saw an interview the other day where Joe said he had like a tub of oily hair product they kept to make his hair look the way it does in the film lol Still a sexy boy with dem big hands <3.

Warnings: Kurt is a toxic boy! This relationship is definitely not a healthy one! He gaslights her constantly and through out the two stories her mind slowly slips from ration to irrational. If this triggers you I INSIST YOU DO NOT READ!

SMUT, he is a bit rough with some dominate, strongly possessive behavior, dirty talk, ANGST, all of it. The murders in the film are glossed over till we get to the one in this story. Like the first story I changed some of the dialogue because...I mean you get it...his passenger is a sexist douchebag lol, his death is briefly described but not lingered on. Another death is described in a bit more detail but not too much (if you've seen the film you know; those bottom pics in the picture above is a hint).

Again, Kurt is NOT a good boy. He does get a bit rough with the reader, shoving her against a wall when she mentions something he doesn't like, she talks about her feelings (feeling like this is her fault somehow, wondering if there was more she could have done, etc), Kurts toxic upbringing is mentioned briefly. I think that's everything but alas... if you watched the movie and read my last story you should know what your walking into!

Part 1

You remained silent for the next couple of rides Kurt picked up but your eyes were always scanning him over. What happened? How did he get to this point? Was it something you missed or could have prevented? He had always had a rough childhood with his parent’s divorce and his dad’s drug habit. He felt that strong need to take care of his mother but she always felt so absent. Most of the time Kurt was alone…which was part of the reason you assumed he needed to have so many followers. He needed to be seen, to be loved. 

Maybe my love wasn’t enough…I could have given him more; supported him harder. I should have found a way to give him what he needed. 

As the car stopped at a red light, he turned to glance at you noticing your glazed over look. His soft hand reached out to lightly grip your chin forcing you to make eye contact with him and when his thumb caressed your cheek, a pleasant sigh left your lips. 

“I love you, Kurt.”

His smile melts your heart before the Spree app dings for his next passenger reminding you both of what he was doing. The next person he picked up was a complete douchebag. Any time Kurt tried to say something kind, the man cut him off saying he had somewhere he needed to be and that he needed to “shut the fuck up.”

“HEY! There’s no reason for you to be an asshole! Either be nice or YOU shut the fuck up.”

“Ugh. Control your fucking woman, dude.”

“Hey, alright, come on now. We show women respect.”

“I’ll show her some fucking respect…”, the man grumbled under his breath. 

Your eyes rolled as he continued to complain, even more so when Kurt accepted the call to pick up another passenger. As soon as she got in the car, you liked her. She put the asshole in his place and your boyfriend seemed really interested in her when it came to her career. While the man kept trying to hit on her, Kurt asked her questions and you watched as his whole demeanor changed converting back to that goofy kid you fell in love with. 

“Um, sir, are you a twitter bot or is there a real live human boy in there?”

Kurt blinked as he nervously laughed. “I’m as real as you. I don’t…”

Your jaw clenched as you held in the urge to snap at her. She didn’t know him like you did or what he had been through. In this moment, he was genuinely being kind to her and she was mocking him. What was worse was he also genuinely didn’t seem to get that she was. 

“…you becoming Insta famous has made you a total bitch.”

Kurt slammed on the breaks causing everyone to fly forward as he turned to face the other man. 

“Out!”

You listened to everyone argue before the woman got out of the car and splashed the man with water from her bottle and tossing it at his rear window. Gasping as some of the water hit you, Kurt immediately turned to you, his large palm cupping your cheek as he wiped the liquid away from your lips. 

“Just drive, asshole!”

Kurt’s eyes shifted like it had with the others but instead of panicking, you tilted forward crashing your lips to his. 

“Jesus fucking Christ! Unless this is going to be a three way, can we get a move on so I can fuck my own girl!”

Heavily sighing, Kurt pulled away from you but held your hand as he began to drive again. As he headed for another secluded area, he managed to get the man out of his vehicle as the rider proclaimed obnoxiously that he needed to go to the bathroom. When he turned towards you with that slanted, cocky smile, you knew. 

“Won’t it ruin the car?”

Your boyfriend’s grin grew as he shook his hair away from his eyes and turned his whole body so he could see behind him as he reversed. The thud made you jump as the man rolled over the top and down over the hood. Kurt tilted his head as he watched the body slide off the windshield and onto the dirt.

This time he was surprised when he felt your small hand graze the bulge in his sweatpants. Kurt’s murder filled eyes met your lust filled ones before you lean over to passionately kiss him. His mouth hums against yours as you move your palm faster against him and he rapidly reaches for the waistband of his pants to shove them down just enough to free his cock.

“Wait. Shit. I almost forgot.” As he begins reaching for his phone to turn off the cameras, you grab his wrist. 

“You…you can leave them on if you want to.”

His long, fingers snaked behind your head as his lips trailed up your jawline to the shell of your ear that was furthest from the cameras in front of you. 

“You’re mine, Y/N. No one can see or have your body except me. If I wanted to fuck you in front of these people I would have done it already.”

“O-okay. I’m sorry if I upset you, baby.”

The fingers Kurt had tangled in your hair abruptly tugged you back, forcing you to look up at him. 

“How many times do I have to tell you that you don’t have to be afraid of me? Hm?”

“I-I-I’m not afraid of you. Not anymore. I just don’t want you to be upset or unhappy.”

Kurt’s eyes soften as he leans forward to kiss your forehead before pressing buttons on his phone to turn off all the cameras.

“As long as I’m with you, baby, I’m happy. I love you so much.” Hearing him say that had a giddy feeling course through your veins. Without looking away, you lick your palm, and he moans as you stroke his length.

Roughly, he unbuttons your jeans and shoves two of his fingers into your mouth making you gag. 

“That’s it, pretty girl. Choke on my fingers. Get them nice and wet.”

Removing them with a desperate pop from your lips, his massively large palm slid under the waistband of your underwear making you groan as he thrust his digits inside of you.

Your forehead fell onto his shoulder and that safe feeling washed over you as you inhaled his scent reminding you of nights he held you when he spent the night talking about the future. Those nights when he would tell you all the things he was going to buy you when he became famous, not realizing that as long as you were with him you had everything you wanted. 

Hearing him grunt in your ear, you pumped your hand faster around him as his free hand clung to the back of your neck holding you tighter to him.

You hold his hand the rest of the way until you stop at a gas station and get out with him to stretch your legs. Hearing him mutter under his breath, you assumed he was talking to the camera which wasn’t abnormal for him until you heard him raise his voice. 

“Yeah, Bobby! That’s because people know we’re on a break right now!”

You chose to remain silent since the last time you brought up his relationship with Bobby he got exceptionally angry. It killed you, though, as he paused to look at his phone and his face fell. He shouted at the screen making you jump before you both finally noticed the cop on the other side getting gas as well. 

As he continued to talk, you scanned the car, and froze when you noticed blood on the front bumper. Kurt followed your eyeline and as nonchalantly as possible leaned against his hood, pulling your sleeve so you could lean against his chest. You held him tightly as your thoughts spiraled into everything that could go wrong if this cop decided to dig further. Your boyfriend felt your fear and ran his palm along your back as he tried to comfort you.

“Seriously, Y/N, leave this loser.”, the little computer voice mocked from his phone. 

“Fuck. Off. Bobby!”, you growled. 

“Leave her alone. She’s been through a lot today.”

As the cop went about his business, Kurt kissed your cheek as they continued their back and forth and you cleaned the front of his car.  

Opening his trunk, he pulled out one of his earlier victims open house signs and tossed them in the trash. 

“What about your promise to me, Bobby! I haven’t seen anything from you! Get in the car, Y/N.”

You do as he commands watching with sympathetic eyes as he slams his trunk and climbs back in beside you. 

“Is-Is he still going to help, Kurt?”

Furiously, he slams his hands against the steering as he sighs in frustration. 

“I’m giving it my all here, goddamn it! Why can’t I get ahead!?”

Carefully, you reach out to brush some of the hair under the Kurt’s World Hat he put on behind his ear. 

“You always give 100%, baby. It’s going to get better. THINGS will get better.”

His wild eyes meet yours before he softly smiles and playfully puts one of his hats on your head. 

“I’m so glad you’re here with me, sweetheart. I don’t think I could have done this alone.”

Your mood drastically changed after his last ride/kill and you were angry. First, Kurt insisted you sit in the back with these pretentious people while their friend sat beside him and continuously touched some part of his body like his arm or even his face. Then he drove like a maniac through the streets until heading for his next destination where not only did these two people die violently next you but you watched him kill someone with his own hands like it was nothing.

Of course, who’s the first person he calls afterwards?

“I just got the most epic kill! It was a triple KO! Bobby!”

And of course, Bobby wasn’t amused as he belittled him and everything Kurt was doing. Your boyfriend angrily grabbed his wet wipes from the console and you push back as far from him as you could as he reached over to clean the extra blood off the door beside you. As the phone disconnected and he exited the carwash he finally focused his attention on you. 

“What’s got you so fucking pissed off?” Ignoring him you continue to glare out the window. “Go ahead, Y/N. Out with it! Is it how my friends fucking suck? Or maybe something wrong with my content? Please! Tell me! May as well kick me while I’m fucking down.”

You wanted to scream at him, smack him, or anything else you could think of to hurt him as much as you were hurting but you knew none of that would get through. Rolling down your window, you took off your Kurt’s world hat and tossed it out into the street.

“Hey! Are you fucking kidding me?! What the fuck!?”

“Fuck. You! After everything I’ve done for you and you disrespect me like that!?”

“Like what?!”

“Now this is entertaining.”, the female voice on his phone pings. 

“SHUT UP, BOBBY!”, you both shout in unison.

At a stop light, you got out of the car and power walked up the street to get away from him.  His tires skidded as he parked and ran out to follow you.

“Come on, Y/N. Stop. Talk to me.”, he begged as he tried to block your path with his body. 

“You let that bitch touch you!”, you shouted as you pushed his chest. “’Oh my god. Don’t listen to them. I think you’re a badass.’” Kurt rolls his eyes as you mock the woman’s voice. “Don’t roll your eyes at me! How would you feel if someone was flirting with me and touching my body or face?! You wouldn’t like it would you?!”

“Y/N, I didn’t even notice! All I care about is the fucking lesson!”

“Wow! What a surprise! You only care about your fucking channel and not my feelings! You’re just like your fucking dad!”

He moved in a blur, his eyes darkening as he pushed you against the building behind you. 

“I am nothing like that deadbeat.”, he growled.

“All you father cares about are his fucking records and never gave a damn about you or your mom.” You shove him again and he lets you go. “I didn’t like seeing her touch you but more than anything it hurt me that you didn’t tell her to fuck off. Also…” You hugged your arms around your body. “It scared me a little watching you kill her…like that.”

Kurt sighs as your head hangs and he watches you cry. “Come here, baby.”, he coos as he wraps his arms around you. “I’m so sorry I made you feel like I don’t care about you or your feelings. I seriously didn’t notice she was flirting. Y/N, it took me years to even realize that you had a crush on me.” He smirked when he felt you lightly giggle against him. Tugging you back, his palms gently cup your face. “I would never hurt you like that either. YOU have always supported me. YOU have always been there for me. YOU are my number one fan. I don’t want anyone else and I didn’t mean to scare you. Bobby said to add ‘WTF moments’.”, he shrugged.

“Kurt…you said you care about my feelings…please hear me when I tell you that he doesn’t care about you. He doesn’t want to help you. I’m so tired of watching you hurt because he’s not following through with promises he made you.”

Intertwining his fingers with yours, he led you back to the car and began driving again. You noticed he didn’t turn his Spree app back on as he began heading to what seemed like no apparent destination as he scrolled through that young lady’s Instagram again. You were so focused on him and listening to him mumble that you didn’t realize where you were until he parked again.

“I hope you’re watching this, Bobby.”

Bobby was extremely annoyed when he opened his front door and saw you both on his front porch. Kurt said they needed to talk but the other boy kept brushing him off. As he tried to slam the door on you two, your boyfriend blocked it with his foot. 

“Just remember you asked for this. Sorry, Y/N.”

Bobby tapped his camera and suddenly began streaming making you fume. What made you even more angry was the insults he hurled in Kurt’s direction as he began to sway, trying to seem like he wasn’t hurt by what the boy was saying. Sure, Bobby was a kid but he was old enough to know that what he was saying was rude and selfish. Kurt watched him grow up and was there for him for most of his life. Who did this little shit think he was?

You listen as Kurt announced his plans for the lesson but as Bobby mocked him again, he become incredibly quiet, flashing you an almost sad smirk as he reached into his pocket, and produced a knife. 

The man you fell in love, who was your first everything, and was the reason for your happiness through most of your life charged forward stabbing the person he once called his friend in the stomach. You listened to them wrestle before gun shots suddenly rang out and you ducked down on your knees as you covered your ears. 

Everything became silent and you jumped when you felt hands grab your arms. 

“Are you ok? He didn’t hurt you, did he?” You shook your head as your hands ran over your body to double check. As he kissed your forehead, he showed you the screen on his phone. “Look, honey. We’re in the double digits now.”

Buddy Daddies Vol 3

Alright! I’m wide awake and have Buddy Daddies vol 3~ forgive my blankets in my pictures… I am not bothered to get out of bed…

Let’s begin!

The package arrived in shiny plastic - I noticed it was immediately lighter than the first two which had me worried lol. Nothing to worry — the bonuses this time were just very light/ small.

The box cover~ as I predicted in my last post, this one features Rei and Miri together with Kazuki alone. I was also correct about it being blue. I wanted a rainbow but hey, sticking thematically to colours works too!

We’ve all already seen Vol 4’s colour scheme so I’m gonna go out on a limb and say that maybe we’ll get variations of red/ pink and blue.

Now inside! Disclaimer: this volume comes with a serial code for a digital copy of the entire series (Yay!) so for this reason, a couple of papers (with the serial code) are missing. Edit: Turns out I cannot read as well as I thought I could without glasses - the code is actually for an hour special with Rei and Kazuki's voice actors. I can't share recordings or anything, but they play mini games. (Who can thread a needle the fastest, quizzes on small details in the anime [they had to remember what pattern was on Kazuki's underwear lol], folding socks fastest, a cook off where they make french toast and more!)

The DVD case! The only complaint I have about these cases is the fact that they don’t click shut — they’re cardboard, similar to the ED song album. My only fear is that stuff falls out as I put it away, but it’s a small fear and not really a big deal.

You may have seen the left side all over Twitter — well, the right side is here too! Since it’s for the drama, and the drama preview is about Kyu-Chan’s stalker… I’m guessing that might be her?

Why so much hate towards Wendy?

I need to vent somewhere other than twitter I REALLY wanted to be the kind of person who had the courage to express my opinion like this by answering and facing it but I care too much about my image lol stan kinnie (and also because I think it's a silly reason to fight over a fictional character idk)

Unfortunately I had the displeasure of seeing a twitter account hating on Wendy (I won't divulge it here, but it's basically an account calling her a whore and other stuff) and unfortunately, one of the owners of the account was someone I liked and followed her drawings, fanfictions, etc.

I followed this person even though I knew how much she hated Stendy (which is my otp) and anyway, anything involving Wendy

Wendy is a very special character to me. I liked her from the first episode. I like how South Park portrays all the characters as flawed, they are human, they make mistakes and they learn from mistakes. Same with Wendy. She's made mistakes many times, but she's always learned from them. She is an inspiration to me, like the breast cancer episode, where she fought to defend a cause that was important to her. And then these people come to me and call her manipulative, selfish and mean? For God's sake! No one is forced to like her, of course, but it's good to know that the reason they hate her is just one reason that would be enough to hate all the other characters.

"Wendy is a manipulator! She blackmailed Stan in Season 1 Episode 7"

- She is a child. Her blackmail about combining fantasy with stan (or whatever the fuck she did, I can't remember) is no big deal. Also, Wendy apologized to Stan, acknowledging that she hadn't taken his feelings into account.

"Wendy never takes Stan's feelings into consideration. He's already treated her very badly but nothing compared to what she did to him"

- I really can't see all this harm that Wendy did to Stan in the relationship. She "cheated" on him with Tolkien because she clearly felt lonely. In the scene, Stan himself said he hadn't spoken to her in weeks! BOTH ARE CHILDREN they don't have maturity for a relationship, it's obvious that this would end up happening. It wasn't right for Wendy to do that, of course, but it's kind of understandable considering how old she is. Same with Stan. Wendy was a great girlfriend. She worried about Stan when he was depressed, inviting Kyle to visit him together (which Kyle himself refused to do 😱) and even hired specialists to deal with Stan's hoarding problem. She was worried about him and in the recent episode, we could see how much she loves and cares for him. The problem is that they both have different love languages, something they won't identify with being a problem with their age.

"Wendy is stupid, the only good thing she did was in the list episode" and "she didn't even help with the list episode, stan did everything himself" (I swear it was stuff like that on this account) The owners of this account swear to have watched the series and say that those who defend Wendy are those who have not seen the series. Like... really?

- 1: Absolutely in all episodes starring her, she is the heroine of the day.

Wendy showed the importance of fighting against childhood erotization, the importance of breast cancer, criticized the standard imposed on young girls and women by the media, in addition to which she has an irreparable critical sense. She is the real girlboss! Of course, Wendy has done things VERY wrong, like sending Miss Ellen into space, but come on? this is part of the humor of the series. Characters will always act stupid at some point because that's where the fun is. Like, when Kyle does stupid things and acts on impulse, in anger, to champion a cause, he's considered a boss. Stan did absolutely nothing but stand and watch, he didn't even know what to say when he got in front of the girls to argue. Wendy is the one who saved Kyle from burning down the school. SHE SAVED THE FUCKING SCHOOL

THE MORNING AFTER: ONLY FRIENDS, EPISODE 1 ("MY PHONE'S STILL NOT WORKING?!") META EDITION

(Unless something changes, I'll be letting loose my Only Friends episodic meta a day late from now to October -- mommy duties call on the weekends! Saturday nights'll be for that GMMTV good-good from here on out.)

So, yesterday's episode was great. I totally enjoyed reading everyone's unhinged pleasure at the first episode yesterday, and I reblogged a whole bunch of stuff and picked up on some early theories. Jojo, Ninew, and Den were having a grand time on Twitter, and it was just a lot of fun to track (JOJO).

Before getting into the meta, just to put this on the record: my first expected and/or hoped-for clown checkpoint is a confirmed and committed throuple (NOT the missed threesome we almost got in this episode, but damn it, missed opportunity!). I understand that @respectthepetty and @shortpplfedup have separately originated a murder/manslaughter clown checkpoint (thanks, @slayerkitty, for THAT heads-up, lol) (and see below re: Mew), which tracks with Jojo's previous comparison to 3 Will Be Free -- am I HOPING for murder? Maybe I'm not HOPING for murder, but for what I'm about to muse on, maybe it won't be a surprise?

@cookie-kat777 (here) and @isaksbestpillow (here) and so many more folks out there are positing that something the fuck is UP with Mew, and I agree. I find him to the the most interesting character so far, simply because he's the only one who's not letting his actions fully tell his story -- he's almost fully in charge of his narrative, as opposed to everyone else so far (Ray, obvious pained drunk; Sand, obviously broke and tired of the BS, cc: @neuroticbookworm, etc).

My read on the kitchen scene is that Mew knew beforehand that he would stop Top in his tracks prior to letting Top in. Mew is clearly a game-player, slamming that bell during bar trivia (....... y'all, that was a HELL of a lot of drinking for bar trivia, HA), and it just struck me that there was a "win" in Mew getting Top to move towards commitment before Mew gives up his thang. I smell narcissism on the dude. Mew's not acting like a blushing maiden, quite the opposite, he knew FULL WELL what he was doing when he let Top in -- but I want to know his goal in getting Top to settle down and in first.

And moving towards faen in a week? (A WEEK?!) (UM.) For Top to bag commit to Mew -- a virgin! -- that quickly, particularly in the face of the conversation he had previously had with Boston about getting with Mew in the first place: what's Top's ultimate priority here, as well? Top's going to commit to someone he hasn't slept with yet? Color me surprised. What, to show up Boston? Is that how playas play? I dunno, we'll see. I'm not sure that Boston is a strong enough reason. Maybe there's a male-toxicity-driven shallange that's coloring this narrative, but I'll wait to find out more.

Other quick thoughts: what's the source of Ray's pain that's driving him to multiple and regular black-outs? What's Sand so tired of? (Family strife, poverty, rich kids, etc. -- what's happening there). What's up with Cheum, Mew, and Boston leaving Ray to stumble to his car alone -- especially now that it's clear that he has a pattern of blacking out and showing up to school hungover?

I don't want to project, but I'm gonna: this is a hell of a heavy drinking crew, partying QUITE hard and regularly. If Jojo's previous references to at least Gay OK Bangkok stand, I'm wondering if one overarching commentary/lesson we're going to get out of Only Friends is -- escaping to the bottle is not the best way to mitigate yours or anyone else's issues. We know he's framed shows around health issues before, GOKB and The Warp Effect as the most prominent. Let's see.

Speaking of Gay OK Bangkok, I offer another OF clown checkpoint: in my review of GOKB, I posited that Pom of GOKB and Shin of 3 Will Be Free are avatars of a very similar character style -- virgins, glasses-wearing, and unassumingly wiley in their ability to survive in a competitive world. I think Mew joins that avatar crew, but in a much more insidious fashion. Let's see. I love that Jojo is playing around with this style.

One more clown checkpoint I'm gonna put out there is that Jojo and Ninew do not let the recent Thai political turmoil escape this show. I don't know HOW it'll even work, but I have my eyes sharply peeled, because the political craziness was going down literally as they were filming the show. We'll see -- I'll likely be wrong, but ya never know.

I think that's it! I LOVE Jennie, I can't wait to see Nonnie, and Drake -- welcome back to the boys, my friend. This episode was fantastic, but by FAR the best part about yesterday was seeing the filmmakers go totally insane on social media, hyping their work and their people -- damn. When the artists KNOW what they made is good, then that's just like, it's cookies for us. Jojo and Den are out there replying to fans, and it’s just awesome. What a ride already!

Sunny is very small and scared but he tries best to survive and some of lines he says breaks my heart. He can't saved his sister and said this when he killed the zombie that ate her "It only took one attack? I could've saved her?" I'M CRYING AAAHHH! He killed frisk (the first zombie) on his own and tried he's best to save everyone in the underground.

The Batman Who Laughs - DC Comics

He has my favorite villain and Batman design of all time. I'm kinda a fan of Batman and Joker but for some reason mixing both of them makes it so great for me. They could of just gave Batman and green and purple design but they had to cook for no reason.

All Deadites - Evil Dead Series

I say my favorite one is Henrietta but I love watching all of them. Ash is my favorite final guy but the Deadites are so funny and scary to watch.

Hunk - Resident Evil

He is the most badass in any franchise and very mysterious too. He theme, design, voice, and his weapons are all badass!

Ghostface - Scream

My favorite part about him is anyone can be him, he's like Spider-man but for horror fans. His voice and lines are so good and scary!

Okay anon I had to come across some twitter threads to see what you were getting at and let's sum it up yeah, a list of coincidences, things to do with larry and Chicago. I'm probably gonna miss a bunch (and prob not gonna list a bunch of others- i barely see the logic in these being intentional already), soo its a bunch of things that are in the realm of chicago + bears + phones/calling + home coinciding? I guess? Anyway:

To start off with your points, during Harry's Chicago residency in October 2022, there was a phone booth at the venue and llama Doris posted about it (they havent much since :( ), with a description about calling Home.

Harry's band wears overalls with names of cities they've performed at, since Chicago some have showed up on stage with the name on it, for instance Mitch yesterday (that is nov 25th 2022.).
