One time, Deku and Todoroki decided to watch Mob Psycho 100 together, and they got really into the TeruMob pairing, so much so that it's their favorite thing to cosplay as for fan conventions - Deku as Mob, Todoroki as Teruki.

Ahh I’m glad you asked :D Terumob is so special to me,

I have a few but it’s going to be so long haha(also, sorry for the dual use of Mob and Shigeo if it confuses ya)

1. Terumob loves physical touch, cuddles, pats, hugs, hand holding, etc. Teru is touch starved due the to the absence of his parents. Mob has been very closed off ever since he was young. Yes his family does give him affection, but he never seeks it out unless necessary, so he’s kinda deprived in physical affection too. Not to mention, his brother isn’t touchy either. Not his fault, but anyway, Mob enjoys hugging or being close to Teru in any sort of way possible. Shigeo loves the warmth of holding Teru’s hand. It grounds him

2. Teru falls asleep faster and better when Shigeo is close by him. Mob’s aura and his physical presence makes him feel extremely safe and at ease. It gives him so much comfort too. Teru is always alert 24/7 so when Shigeo is nearby, he feels like he doesn’t have to be extremely aware anymore, and that leads him to fall asleep near Shigeo a lot. Shigeo loves it because he knows it lets him know that Teru feels safe enough. Shigeo also uses his aura a little so that Teru doesn’t get any nightmares

3. Mob knows that Teru is very hard on himself, so he always tries to let him know that he’s enough. Teru has never had genuine verbal validation before, no one who knew the real him. So, this leads him to overwork himself usually. Mob sometimes takes it upon himself to be the intervention Teru needs and remind him that he’s okay and he’s needed.

4. Teru also knows that Mob worries about being good. Too much. Teru reminds Mob that sometimes although that they make mistakes, that doesn’t make them a horrible person. This one goes vice versa actually. They remind each other. And remind each other that they’ve changed inspire of their relapsing or mistakes. Even if there are moments where Teru becomes condescending, even if there are moments where Shigeo stutters and hides from his emotions.

5. Teru helps Mob express himself. We generally see him in his black and white uniform which makes people think he only wears black and white which is inaccurate lol. Shigeo is a very colourful person.

Anyway, despite loving colours and clothes, what he wears is all just hoodies and pants which is really plain. Teru has a more extravagant taste. Shigeo loves listening to Teru ramble on about style and fashion and going out of his comfort zone by wearing contrasting colours like pink and green, bright red and bright blue. Purple and orange. Not just in fashion either, but in what Mob wants to do and say. Like maybe figuring out what instrument he wants to play and express himself? Teru loves rock guitars but knows that Shigeo wouldn’t enjoy playing it, so he introduces Shigeo into other forms of music, like percussion, string instruments. Side note I like the idea that Shigeo likes the piano bc of Reigen. But anyways, I think he loves most of the but the one he likes one percent higher than the rest is the flute

ok hc list bc i dont want to go to sleep yet:

-reigen likes to crochet and esp likes to make stuff for other ppl. mob's gotten mountains of mittens, hats, coasters, and even the occassional cardigan or sweater. reigen also has mountains of unfinished projects he put down and never picked up again- he bounces from project to project, moving on when his motivation dries out. likes it better than knitting bc its faster and he thinks the variety of stitches is interesting

-serizawa likes to sew, but specifically for cosplay. when halloween rolls around, he makes costumes for the kids and himself. one year, he offhandedly mentioned to reigen a zelda cosplay he never got to wear, and thats how he and reigen ended up accidentally doing a link and zelda couples costume...

-mob has tried to learn both crochet and knitting, but doesn't really get either. crochet is too complicated, and everytime reigen's tried to teach him, it ends up with mob inexplicably tangled up in his own yarn. however, mob does really like videogames, esp life sims and the occasional fighting game. ppl underestimate him bc normally his reflexes aren't great, but he can play competitive level smash bros. his mains are jigglypuff and pikachu

-ritsu likes journaling but absolutely hates drawing. he also doesn't particularly like creative writing. he only really plays games with mob, but occassionally he'll pick up the odd rpg or anything shou wants to play with him (usually minecraft). he's a big pokemon fan but he's a little embarrassed by it, so he doesn't talk about it outside of shou and (after a very surprising conversation) serizawa

-shou didn't really have any hobbies growing up in claw, but now that he can, he wants to try everything. he picks up drawing again after his dad is arrested and, eventually, tries other mediums like oils and spray paint. he doesn't like how long it takes for normal paints to dry but he loves spray paint almost as much as he loves his sketchbook (which was a gift from ritsu; he won't admit it, but he hand-binded the book himself just for shou). likes to play any type of game, but only when with friends. otherwise, he thinks they're kinda lonely. ritsu is his favourite person to draw

-teru loves fashion, but is abysmal at sewing, so his favourite place to go for weird items is the thrift store. he loves the mall, but only ever goes if mob tags along, saying its more fun that way. the only thing he likes more than dressing up, is dressing others up- esp if that person is mob, since they share a style. he likes rhythm games and karaoke a lot and can play the guitar. has a not-so-secret obsession with vocaloid

-tome tries lots of hobbies but never really sticks to one thing. she likes researching aliens and other supernatural phenomena. has thought of starting a podcast, but isn't sure if she could commit herself to it enough. reigen thinks she needs to stop being so much like him if she wants to get anywhere in life... aside from that, she's really into retro games and takes up any chances she can to play with her friends. she cried once, the first time she saw serizawa's videogame collection

Is it Shige?” The gears were rapidly turning in his head, and he gripped the table as he came to the worst case scenario. “Oh god, are you breaking up with him?” “No!” Teru jolted upright, quick to reassure him. “No, not at all! The opposite, actually.” Ritsu relaxed minutely, but he still wasn’t following. Teru seemed to realize this because he glanced away, suddenly embarrassed. “I’m, uh… I’m actually thinking of proposing.” The spoon in Ritsu’s soup abruptly tied itself into a knot, sloshing miso everywhere. They both ignored it.

So I'm going to call it a headcanon then a theory because it seems safer that way but I just had a conversation with my friend as she watched season 3, she said something about how mob got up 1% when dimple mentioned tsubomi and 9% when teru got brainwashed. OK BUT HEAR ME OUT TRUST ME THIS IS MORE ABOUT TSUBOMI THEN TERUMOB

What if... Mob has a crush on Tsubomi because she was the first person that enjoyed his power and he was happy having another company other than his brother. Mob thought Tsubomi as a friend or a really close friend because he saw how interested she was and saw the beauty and etc etc, the reason why Mob has a crushhh is probably because he wants to bring back the wholesome relationship with Tsubomi (and she's also real pretty so it's pretty ez to like her like that) So when Tsubomi told Mob to get a clue he was terrified because what if tsubomi hates him now (oh no!!! poor mob) and the fact that he doesn't know what he likes about tsubomi makes it so wholesome but if ever I'm wrong, I love Mob for liking Tsubomi for who she is

shige has an appreciation for her music, he likes the upbeat tunes and the love songs and he'll happily bop along when teru plays them. he'll gladly wear the t-shirts and go to the concerts.

momo had originally written her off as mindless sugary sweet shallow pop music, but mame made him listen to boy problems and it converted momo into a crj stan. now their friends (and people he works with, and plenty of strangers on the internet) could be subject to impassioned rants about the complexity and depth of crj (and other pop artists') songs, as well as the significance of bubblegum pop in culture.

I have a lot of goofy mob psycho perfume headcanons, but one of my favorites is that Reigen wears Bath and Body Works Champagne Toast but is ashamed of it.

Champagne toast is a juvenile, fun scent that smells like hyper-sweet champagne and peach. Reigen LOVES this scent but he HATES that he loves it because even though he’s crazy about sweet femme scents, he doesn’t want people to know that he wears a cheap scent designed for tween girls.

So when people ask what scent he’s wearing, Reigen lies and says “Nautica Voyage for Men” Reigen shamefully keeps champagne toast stashed in a locked drawer in his desk. It’s his secret.

It’s his secret to everyone except Teru.

See, the thing about Teruki Hanazawa is that he has an amazing nose. He knows the name of a fragrance just by smelling it. And Teru ADORES bath and body works. He collects it. So Teru smells Reigen and immediately knows reigen is wearing champagne toast.

Their interaction goes like this:

Teru (who proudly wears scents designed for tween girls) I never knew you liked champagne toast, Reigen-san!!! We should talk bath and body works sometime!! I’m somewhat of a collector myself. I’m actually wearing the tutti dolci collection right now!

Reigen *visibly sweating*: dunno…dunno what you’re talking about. I’ve never been to bath and body works in my life. The only scent I wear is nautica voyage for Men

Teru *squinting* You don’t smell like nautica voyage. You smell like champagne toast.

Reigen: I guess your smeller is off.

Teru *visibly distressed at reigen gaslighting him at the tender age of 14*

Later, for Christmas, Reigen unwraps his present from Teru. It’s an unboxed bottle of nautica voyage for men.

Teru: go ahead, spray it!

Reigen starts sweating. He’s been caught in a lie—now everyone will smell the ACTUAL nautica voyage for men, and know that Reigen smells nothing like that, thus proving that Reigen has been lying the whole time about what fragrance he’s wearing.

People will discover he’s a fraud. A fraud who wears champagne toast.

Unable to think of an excuse, Reigen sprays the bottle of nautica voyage for men.

It smells exactly like champagne toast.

It smells like champagne toast because it IS champagne toast. Teru had bought a bottle of nautica voyage for men, emptied it, refilled it with champagne toast, and gifted it to reigen. The reason? He wants Reigen to be able to keep his perfume on his desk, to spray champagne toast without feeling ashamed.

Tears come to Reigen’s eyes. Teru knows Reigen’s a fraud. At least when it comes to the fragrances he wears. But Teru doesn’t care!! In fact, he’s HELPING Reigen lie by gifting him champagne toast disguised as nautica voyage. The idea that the kids see him—the real him, the liar—and accepts him anyway, is almost too much for reigen to take.

But Reigen keeps going. Like he always does. He says thank you to Teru. Gives him a hug. He sprays champagne toast, and is proud.
