The only time I agree with a Ritsu headcanon is when I can imagine him being really angry about someone having that headcanon. Whether it's because it doesn't line up with how he perceives himself or because it's really accurate and he cannot accept that some rando on the internet clocked him that easily.

Like my recent post about characters as fruits? He would totally sit down every person who suggested what fruit they see him as for a powerpoint presentation he took four days putting together about how everyone is wrong (everyone is actually correct he just has a complete inability to entertain people deciding what fruit he is but if they're going to be doing it he might as well set the record straight) and he's actually some fruit nobody has ever heard of only for Shou to pipe up from the back "I see you as more of a banana" and it just throws him off so much he abandons the presentation and researches everything there is to know about bananas to try and understand Shou's reasoning when really Shou just likes bananas and had whispered to one of us in the crowd "wanna see me make him mad in eight words?"

And I only write that out because Ritsu would read this post and respond "I would not get angry over something like that this is completely inaccurate to who I am."

serizawa! what is your opinion on the esper kiddos? (mob, ritsu, teru, shou....)

these kids are nice and cute, what can I say?

well I know Shou and Mob more closely so I can add some more about them

Shou - very energetic loud kid with huge potential, I like him a lot and always did, he makes an impression of person who will achieve a lot of goals by his trainings and will to live. He’s always very honest and loyal to his own opinion(so it was kinda obvious that he didn’t like his father’s deeds…. also looking at everything right now I start to thinking that they have a lot of in common…)

Mob - Mob is friend. Probably the most kind person in the World! Literally made of amnesty and forgiveness. Very strong and resolute. Has problems with showing and reading emotions, which upsets him of course, but he’s working on it! I believe in him!

Ritsu - isssss Mob’s brother? Also Shou’s friend? That’s good, now thy can hang out all together be friends and do what friends do, isn’t it great? … He… helped Shou to stop World Domination… He… probably very popular in school? I don’t know what else to say about him…

Teru - I… I don’t know much about him to be honest… He is a boy. Esper buy. sometimes he hangs out with Mob(so they are friends too?) 

and he took my croc. I don’t… I don’t know why, boy, why?

this upload is all over the place but i needed for it to feel very like your kid can be flourishing in all these things and still very much be struggling in others, and feeling bad and stupid and like he is not actually making progress

i used to fail classes by the bulk so i can just say im projecting into mob lmao

the conversation mrs and mr kageyama have at the start is totally based on my dad grabbing my face and saying YOU USED TO BE THIS SIZEEEEE lmao

Living with Shige (Teru special!!!)

Teru has a complicated relationship with his mom, as one does, confusing feelings, he wants to be protected but he doesn't want to leave with her, he wants someone to take care of him but he doesn't remember what its like to be taken care by other people

He is trying his best to not let Mrs Kageyama know anything, he is saying as much information as to explain but as little as to not say anything that would get him in trouble

Things that didn't make the cut: Teru has a step dad, he has no idea abt his dad's whereabouts

MOM by @tsukish11ma : I dont have enough words to describe the appreciation and respect I have for this series, do you ever see someone you know in a fanfiction the way i see people i know in the way Teru's mom is depicted on the MOM series, for better or for worse, this fic made me empathize with a lot of people in my life and sometimes i lay awake at night thinking abt how Mother will end lmao
