#Macsheep and Goatsco #what do you mean I LOVE goat Vasco #the ears! the hejazi goat ears!#and his expression is just *chef's kiss* perfect #really captures that ungovernable goatlike glee #I like how he retained his smooth coat and sleek and curved shapes #and Machete looks very appropriate as a sheep as well #he would have even more reason to trim his neck wool as a sheep #come to think of it would he have to keep himself sheared at all times if he wanted his clothes to fit correctly?#and just keep the head fluff #I noticed that you paid attention to their snout shapes! sheep have kind of rabbitlike nose whereas goats have a smoother upper lip #with less prominent philtrum #I thought that was such a cool detail #something I often forget myself when I'm drawing these species #thank you!#gift art #arttsuka #Machete #Vasco #it's weird how much harder their expressions are to read solely because of the horizontal pupils #they're mammalian but lack that anthropomorphic familiarity I guess

"transmisogyny targets trans women -> it also hurts trans men -> anti trans panic also hurts cis women"

"the US and Israel are commiting genocide in Gaza -> the genocide is also hurting Palestinian Christians and white tourists -> this war money could be better spent domestically"

"anti homeless architecture makes it illegal to live without a house -> it also hurts disabled people -> ableist structures also hurt abled people"

it's weird because with some of these there are genuine points to be made and it's worth discussing the full consequences of things but I can't help but be aware of the human-value-hierarchy implicit in these statements and how attention is always brought away from those who suffer most from their own oppression. it's not really surprising and it's 100% the system working as intended but you really start to see it everywhere once you look

#some of these are obviously less valid than others #the white tourist thing is much more absurd than pointing out anyi homeless architecture qlso hurts disabled people #especially sinxe q lot of homeless are disabled #but the point is they lie on a spectrum of increasingly drawing attention away from those most marginalized #intersectionality #transmisogyny #Marxism #ableism #anti homeless architecture #also im notably lacking in experience with racism (as i am white) so my representation of that specific distortion is necessarily going to #be lacking in as nuqnced an understanding as someone with first-hand experience would have #its far too important to lrave out entirely though #feel free to add more detailed experiences #goes for any one of these examples really

IT'S JUST SO...!! savior's wardrobe scrubbed clean of her original culture and preferences #replaced with the foreign garments of her captor's nations.....in line with this. i love how her kokoshnik and khaenri'ahn earrings are big #and attention-grabbing. you can't look at her without taking note of those accessories. it begs the question:: how many times has savior #looked at the mirror after being dressed up in snezhnaya and was unable to recognize her own reflection?? :'>#also shoutout to some details aine shared with me: 1) the face marks are inspired by weeping angels 2) the kokoshnik was traditionally worn #by married noblewomen BUT the veil was normally for unmarried women so savior's outfit can be seen as a form of compliance + rebellion #(though later on in history it became accepted for married women to also wear that veil. also my apologies if what i said is inaccurate)#lastly shoutout to savior's expression!! very poised and mysterious....due to her emotional state or pierro's rules on how to act as his #spouse in public?? we'll never know~ the first drawing hits even harder when you compare it to the next one!! such an interesting contrast~#savior in her plain attire. casual and domestic with a smile on her face....i'm guessing this is her pre-fatui version?? she looks so warm #and friendly. and i can definitely understand why pierro fell for her smile <3 #also i fucking love the caption. sorry pierro but you are cursed to be a loser/ simp/ pathetic man in all of my fics and AUs xD #NOW ONTO GODDESS! SAVIOR AAAHHHH!! i love the greek goddess motifs. she looks so regal and awe-inspiring but in a different way from her #snezhnayan attire--archaic. divine. and more suited to her personal style.....yet both versions of her look so painfully isolated :'>#her blank eyes. emotionless face. and veil give me the vibes of a spooky victorian ghost...or would a statue/ portrait be more fitting??#the lack of a necklace is also an interesting design choice given what happens in the fic. and now i realized i forgot to comment on your #version of her snezhnayan necklace oops. similar to the kokoshnik and earrings. the size + grandeur makes it impossible to ignore #that and big jewels = expensive af. ohhh and i love the sparkles on her veil!! pierro rlly spared no expense in dressing up his wifey <3 #it's also funny how all of these outfits are similar to my own version in terms of 'savior wore grand clothing during her glory days as a #goddess -> wore simple attire after her decline for practicality and to blend in with humans/ disassociate from her old identity -> is now #dressed in even grander clothing as the harbinger's spouse. but it's used to reinforce her new identity and pierro's control over her'#tldr:: your design is so creative and i can see the effort you put in analyzing her character and depicting her based on your interpretatio #thank you for being my mutual + reader and i hope we can share even more harbinger/darling brainrot in the future :>

Take for instance the lack of a border on the second panel #A detail you'll find present in nearly every Garfield strip ever illustrated!#I also styled my fursona a bit after Lanolin Sheep from US Acres which was another comic Jim Davis wrote #It was nice to actually have a sheep character in his style to go off of when drawing the transfem sheeb in the Garfield style #I must admit this was drawn solely because I thought 'Starfield' was a funny enough play on words to make into a drawing.#This was lots of fun though! Obviously it's all in Doylist (heh) service of the plot in truth, but I must say I like how much... passivity/learned helplessness/indifference regarding their living surroundings on the part of the twins is essential to the story, accepting a bunch of random modifications to their rooms that they never inquire about what exactly they are for, the doorbell having been put in place years ago and never being used by either woman. Rings very true to effects of abusive situations the way it's so frustratingly obvious something is suspicious to the reader but it can't be to them, why would it be to them when vague control on their own lives in general was never an option

i don't really understand people who give feedback like this? a) i know that tireder isn't a grammatically correct word, but here's a shocking fact: people rarely speak in perfectly grammatically correct ways and b) if i DIDN'T know, do you think that this would be a particularly educational way of telling me?

#k talks #have you ever heard a person speak out loud? i'm assuming it happens very rarely if this is how you communicate to others #also if we're going to talk about grammatical optimization: your repeated use of the word 'actual/actually' is uncompelling #you should only use echoes to serve a rhetorical point and you fail to do that here #and your inconsistent use of double vs. single quotation marks also shows a lack of attention to detail #also unclear why you would include 'less' when tireder suggests a very clear meaning of 'more tired'#just overall poor writing. 6/10; red pen; see me after class
