Rescue Bots fighting style in my AU

So regarding This post again where I mentioned several things, the main one being about Blades fighting like Ty Lee from ATLA

So I´ve brought myself to do Heatwave, Boulder and Chase fighting style in their holoforms! /can also be considered in their bot forms

That and explaining more about Blades one of course!

Blades

As I´ve stated before, since Blades is the team official medic, he must know all about Cybertronian; biology, anatomy and medicine. Since rescue missions sometimes, or most of the time, end up with the rescuers or the rescued injured. And having a medic in the team ,or at least someone with medical knowledge till help arrive, must be if not needed then OBLIGATORY.

So for me Blades fighting like Ty Lee works in his Holoform, because her fighting style is called "White Crane Fist" or “beak hands” or gōu shǒu, and this type of style emphasizes on circular movements, grace, and subtlety. The style also requires strong balance, reach, agility, and speed over brute force.

Also in this type of fighting style, it is necessary to know about human anatomy, or precisely about pressure points (if they actually belong to the branch of biology I apologize for the confusion). By hitting a sequence of pressure points, you can paralyze or even kill enemies.

I don´t know how but I think this could be aplied, somehow to their Cybertronian form!

Boulder

Now, while Boulder has a huge frame and powerful alternate mode, his gentle nature might prevent him from acting violently, he may dislike violence and his main focus is on rescue missions. However, if necessary, he must resort to violence to protect his comrades.

He is absolutedly the most peaceful bot in his team and with his little innocent fascination about Earth´s Flora and Fauna, he is definitely the most protected of his team.

And even if he doesn´t recurs to violence, his team, mostly Blades and Heatwave insist that he needs to AT LEAST know personal defence or carry a weapon around, a small weapon.

So I imagine him using "nunchucks" or "nunchaku", like TMNT Mikey. He is good fighting with his nunchucks and decent at hand to hand combat.

Chase

Now while Boulder is the peaceful one that doesn´t like to use violence unless necessary, Chase on the other hand is capable of using violence but he strongly belief in the law, meaning that he will rather use legal police procedures that using violence.

But he agreed, by order of Heatwave, to resort to violence if necessary or in case of life or death, he without a doubt follows the orders of his superiors and Heatwave is the leader of his team therefore he must obey him, also because he understands his concerns.

So like Boulder, I imagine that Chase also carries a weapon around, and he is better at fighting than Boulder. So in my perspective his fighting style is kinda like Tanjiro Kamado from Kny, but without the Breathing Style, he is good with his katana.

Or like in many headcannons he knows about the Cyberninjas style of fighting.

Heatwave

Believe me or not I was in PAIN trying to figure out how Heatwave´s fighting should be (well his and Chase´s) so I will just say this.

Heatwave already has the will to fight, even though he is a Rescue Bot and his main objective is to save people, he wants to join Team Prime to be able to fight!

But even though that he NEEDS and WANTS to fight, he knows down deep in his Spark, that he cannot leave his team, his family, alone, he knows that there are dangers and that his team is the only full and functional Rescue team left. They are the only thing he has left, they and the Burns family are his home.

So even if he knows he can´t leave his home, that does not stop him from learning to figh. He already is very strong and he is really focused on improving, but he must be a great fighter, if not the best of his team(Blades following him).

He is accurate and lethal, he makes sure to study his opponent's movements when fighting them, if he sees a pattern he can predict his opponent's next movement and stop it in time with a blow.

It might not look at it but he can adjust his water cannons so that they have more pressure and cause damage to his enemy.

So I see him as a less deathly but still good fighter like the Winter Soldier AKA Bucky Barnes!

Feel free to ignoring this ( pls don't), so as you're one of the few people that listen to what I have to say about speedsters, here are some of my negative speedster hcs:

People, in fact, don't realise how dengerous, and scary, speedsters really are until its too late.

- almost every one in this condiction suffers from delusions. Like the negative speed force telling Eobard that he is a monster and him beliving that with all his soul (he in fact is) and he can not change, so he must make Barry's life a living hell forever.( For Owen a see him have some mental problems like Jinx from Arcane).

- They commit antropophagy. As you know speedsters need to eat a lot, and having in mind that the negative ones are "crazy" and by nature they have a too strong predator instinct, i just gonna leave this info here....( really want to talk about this, but dont want to sound weird)

- they can mimic other peoples voices. Speaking is basically vibrating the vocal chords, so a speedster can imitate anyone, and remembering the last hc, they can use it as a hunting tecnic. ( just like those criptids or skinwalkers).

- sexual impulses. They can be predators in any meaning of the word, and they have enough intelect to make plans, and at some point they may want to setisfy an urge...( it dosen't mean everyone of them do that, but again, just saying)

-claptomaniacs. They dont steal things for its value, they steal stuff because it looks intresting for them, when they dont want it anymore they just throw it away.( That aplies to humans too, the speedster can kidnap a person, just because they liked something in that person, thats not necesarilly sexual, they can spend hours looking at that person or hearing them talk.)

And thats are the most things that worried me about speedsters, I don't fear them losing their mind and messing up the multiverse, I fear them if they lose their mind and start to hunting people in the woods, and in big ass Citys that dont mind if somebody desapered.

But, let's chat about it, in points! But imma use my ver of Owen as the main silly guy--

I imagine Owen would defiantly let the speedforce take over his mind at first, he's obsessive over coming back, even when he's "back". He needs everything to be exactly how he wants it, and negative Speedforce feeds into it - "Yes, you are right. How could it happen? It had no right, you didn't allow it." type of stuff. A child, who is stripped of all the control it could have, would fight for it with nails and teeth.

I do wonder if they'd commit autosarcophagy (autocannibalism). Time for speedsters is a horrid thing, and with Owen? Owen, who was stuck in speedforce and suddenly left, hungry and bitter - too animalistic to care. I mean, he heals so quickly and it hurts only a little, the meat is so fresh, even if the hair sometimes gets annoying. I do imagine he does not care for rawness of meat- And if he finds humans harder to hide, to get in time? Well, the corpses of animals with marks of human nails ripping through their flesh and teeth marks that couldn't be any other animal's? But remember not to touch it- not to move it. Speedsters always come back to their last place of hunt. Obsessive little things.

Owen, now twenty-five, still sounding like the sacred eight years old. Boomer has nightmares of his blood-red eyes and his silhouette leaning above him - so skinny and yet grown. His body so unlike his baby son, yet the same voice calling for his dad, for his papa - "Please, da, what did I do? Why aren't you looking at me?" He wakes up sick to his stomach. Owen, angry how others get their parents, hiding in a forest and hunting one of the rangers, knowing that he has a young daughter. They have everything, her last birthday he took her to Disneyland, while she whined that it's not Disney World - how dare they? How dare she. Only two "dad, help!" and he's exactly where he needs him.

Speedsters, at all, have a strong sexual drive for me - I mean, they do not have to rest at all. Mixed with stronger instincts? Damn. When Owen is home, softer - tamer, it's not that big of a deal. Until Axel comes over with rogues, so loud and eye catching. They both are horrid for each other, but only one of them might end up with scars after their meetings. Pied Piper jokes about being attacked by a feral cat.

I just wanna mention - with Kleptomania, it's qualified under inability to control impulses (the stolen stuff has literally 0 value, some give it away some throw it away) or at least was! But also, I doubt speedsters feel the guilt and anxiety later. But it's still under the "lacking control over impulses" which I believe is common under the Speedster fam tree. I also want to say that even while Boomer's not a speedster/handmade speedster, I can imagine that he has Kleptomania on some lighter lvl. It's just not as common, but when it hits, it hits pretty hard. He usually ends up giving the trinkets or even bigger things to other rogues. They know about his little issue. When he learns that Owen also does so, he worries that it's biological, but Weather Wizard helps him to figure out that it's not actually the same. (biggest thing he took - a chair from the police station, left it in the nearest trash can. He believed back then that he wanted to do it and did it to prove to himself that he can. He learned around a month later that it's really not that.)

So ye, ofc I had to put some stuff about Boomer and Owen (a lot of stuff about Owen), but what can I do :'D

Thing with Speedsters hunting, especially in DC universe, they would blend in with everything. You hunt near Gotham? Few people disappearing a week is the norm, if you're good enough, no-one notices.

Also, they can vibrate through the walls - whatcha gonna do? Creature Owen seems fun, but imma stay with my normal Owen, especially since in his main surviving au it's Digger with the speed and he got his pop's great agility. (gonna @kaliesuriens bc last time it didnt inform ya)

Morpheus having a S/O with anxiety

I...trully did not expect to be back into the world of writing fanfiction like this. I actually have a Dream piece just wating to be posted but I'm making editing way more harder than it should be. Also yeah, anxiety took the best of me today and my acting powers are not strong enough to turn it into something usefull yet. So, without further ado, let's fucking vent.

Also, every single person regardless of gender is included into this.

● For many years you just thought you were very good at exagerating things.

● And quite frankly, apocalyptic movies were nothing compared to what your lovely, catastrophic mind could do.

● But ever since you took the bull by the horns and started going to theraphy things made more sense. Yes, the beast was there. Yes, sometimes you didn't felt strong enough to face other demons. Yes, starting to take care of and loving yourself felt strange and the guilt of repeting all patterns was a pain. But it also made you apretiate your past vertions and the brave, amazing person you always were.

● The beast however, loved to stir things up when you were happier or more stable than usuall.

● And you hated how it went straight for all the things you care about.

● One moment you were acing your job, feeling like the most badass, smart and skillful person, celebrating with your loved ones and the next something small caught your atention. Some little pattern that came back, or a work colleague's feedback (mean or constructive, you didn't remembered), or a thought that didn't really belonged to you remained there.

● It stood there. Just watching. Eating. And growing.

● More things were added into that inicially small pile: represed feelings, old habbits, more catastrophic ideas, fear of loneliness, insecurities, you name it. It just spiraled from then on. Became a snow ball going down hill.

● You didn't give back the love people gave you. You weren't smart. You didn't have enough courage to separate truth from mind tricks. Your friends are just waiting to leave you. You weren't qualified for your job no matter how much you love it. How were you so unable to get rid of your enviousness? You weren't pretty nor interesting. Morpheus was just waiting to depart from you and find someone better suited for him.

● And the worst part is that you knew it was all bullshit.

● The smallest part of your mind that catched all the practice you gain in therapy knew it as well. But on moments like this, it felt like that piece was numb, quiet and unexisting.

● And Morpheus noticed. Of course he did.

● Your dreams lured him to meet you, to build this lovely bond you now have; but your nightmares showed him your true self once you were together. They were the first sign of anxiety pre therapy and one of the main reasons you decided you wouldn't let your mind get the best of you. But on moments like this they came back harsher than ever, more ruthless. And for a few days, it was enough for you how Dream would melt your night fears away, hold you while listening to you and giving you the advice you asked to your friends and family as well. It was enough to cry by his side and let it all out until there was nothing else to face.

● And then it would all come back again.

● Growing desperate from seeing you suffer so much, the Endless divided his time on taking care of his realm and learning how to help you. You both knew it was more something you had to figure it out on your own, but asking and receiving help was someting you didn't strugle with (or at least not as much as before) anymore. And besides, the spiral you were facing this time was...well, tougher than usual. Not entirely for what it had, but because of its way of coming and going.

● And then, Lucienne proposed a game changer.

● "How about using the word game you challenged Lucifer with, mylord? Why not aplying it on their fears?" She asked as they strolled through the library.

● "How so?"

● "For every hurtful, horrific thing they can think about, give them something equally delighful. Something peaceful for every monster under the bed".

● Morpheus stopped, then, as he considered her idea. He wondered...and decided to give it a shot. Your anxiety didn't play fair. And if the Dream Lord was able to play dirty (without hurting you, of course) then why not use that?

● So he asked you. And you said yes.

● You prepared together one night. Set everything as comfortable as posible and he asked again if you were willing.

● And the answer was the same. Yes.

● You stood face to face. The rules were simple. You had to start with the frase "I fear..." and mention any worry that plagued your mind. You felt self concious, tiny and nervious. But one steady look from him was enough to take a deep breath...and let everything go.

● It stared small. Insecurities about yourself came first. And just like a game of chess, for every fear, something hopeful came along; so certain and sincere you were almost hesitant to keep going, feeling like there was nothing to be scared about. Your ideas about the future along the fear of being left behind were the hardest to face. All the posible and imposible things that were out of your control became myst so heavy that there seamed no way to scape at all no matter how badly you wanted to. You called for Morpheus, blind and shaking. Screaming. Helpless.

● For a solid minute, nothing happened. Everything stilled and became quiet enough to hear your pulse, how your head buzzed.

● And right on your own world or chaos and fog...Morpheus found himself once again in front of you, smiling. He held a cristal ball on his hands.

● "You are not your thoughts. And as long as you believe in yourself even if it's a lie, my dearest, no one and nothing will hurt you. We won't let that happen".

● He held the sphere with his right hand and with the left he created light. Bright enough to gently lift the myst. Bright enough to engulf you and look around clearly for the first time in weeks. Bright enough to treasure what he made for you.

● All around you, all the people that you loved and would love stood around in this world of yours. This new universe in which all the things you wanted for yourself materialized: the home you would build, the career path you would make with your own bare hands, both worth while harships and victories. Your friends and family by your side. Morpheus' love clear as day, not leaving you unless you desired it. Every single honest wish and heartfelt dream was there.

● Dream gave you the orb then. Something material whose content would change depending on the path your life took. Something for you to take to the Waking World when things felt bigger than you.

● Even if you were emotionally exhausted or dispair came to get you, all it took was a look at the ball to at least feel the reminder that you deserved all those things. And you would get them some day. By your own. Helped by someone. But never out of loneliness.

● The battles with your mind would come back from time to time. The beast still thought they knew better than you. But each time, you rose. Victorious. Capable. Brave.

● And each time, he would be there. Always with his open arms and a gentle, firm hand.

Damn, okay. That felt nice. Been dreaming about Morpheus helping me out emocionally speaking for a while. AND I'M BACK IN THE GAME, BABY! Feedback is always apretiated and if I ofended or tr!gered anybody, please let me know in the coments. Yes, this drabble was very self indulgent but that doesn't mean I can get away with the right of hurting someone. That is the last thing I wish to do with my writing. Also, this was based on my own personal experience and I'll always say that every experience is valid. I really hope that anyone who related has found a comfort fic and/or a safe space. Thank you so much to all The Sandman fic writters out there, you are literally feeding me and many others since the show ended and I'm always gratefull for your skills and creativity. Which character do you think will die in VNC ? (Cause let's be honest it's Jun we're talking abt)

If I have to be completely honest, I'm stilllll naively hoping that Jun won't have such murder spree here. We all know know how well things were going in Pandora Hearts and then ta-dum; More than half of the cast dies (after certain chapter number) and after that time-skip she finishes off everyone else (beside main trio).

And I remember that I once read the interview in which she said something about deaths in VNC not being as fulfilling as in PH...? I think she meant that characters here, unlike in PH, will die without having achieved their goals...SO YEAH! There goes my hope (Jk. It could be also aplied to Bad Guys so it would be a good thing).

Anyway; I started to read this manga thanks to yt's video and at first I didn't know it was Jun's. But then I looked at the darwing style and was like: "Wait-That looks familiar." and then I discovered it was hers and so I began to hope that maybe, just maybe she won't do the same thing to Vnc. BUT ofc at the end of chapter one she had to frickin' tell me that she is going to kill Vanitas!!!! OFC!!!! UGH- *groans and headdesks* (It's been awhile since I came into this fandom but the pain is still real and far too fresh ;_;)

I thought it was weird 'cause from what I gathered she doesn't touch her main characters as a rule (Tho Alice doesn't count; she died off-screen) or so I thought and then here she is telling me that she will kill one of her main characters. Then I started to hope, that since she has already revealed that one of mcs will be a goner, maybe just maybe she'll keep keep her murder spree of characters at absolute minimum here. Preferably just finishing off Charlatan members (and probably The Shapeless One cause I don't think think he plans anything good and Jun seems pretty adamant about finishing off Bad Guys). Oh, and Misha will probably die too (considering the state he is in, I don't think he'll last long).

What if angel’s grandma is friends with pops and he invites her grandma for tea and angel and Chrono are in the same class and Kai is like my women is coming to the house I just prepare and Chrono is just like she doesn’t even know your name so angel hangs out with Chrono and Kai just tries to impress her the whole time until Chrono does parkcore trick he’s been working on and Kai tries to do one but he breaks his arm and Angel visits him at the hospital

"Alice, what a great pleasure to receive you and your grandaughter." The old man grabbed the woman's hand to plant a kiss as she laughed.

"As always the charmer my friend." The old woman looked down at the girl with a fond smile, noticing a quite while that both boys with white and brow hair were watching from afar "Go on dear."

"Thank you for accepring us in your house Mr-"

"Oh please young one, is always a pleasure." The elder said with a smile before showing his palm at the inside "Come on now in, I bet Kurono would love to spend time with his colleague."

"Just don't cause any problem sweety." She said before looking again at her old friend as she made herself at home "So? How is your daughter?"

Not much afar Kai arched one eyebrow before looking at Kurono whose was also spying on who Pops was talking with.

"You didn't said my woman was coming."

"First, she doesn't even know you dude. Second, neither I had idea..." Hari answered just as nonchalantly as his friend before widening his eyes at seing you aproaching. "She is coming."

"Pretend then we weren't looking." Kai hissed before you aproached.

"Hi Hari-kun! Who is your friend?" You aproached and the white haired boy gave his friend a look of 'I told you so' while Chisaki only glared back at him.

"Hey (Y/n)-chan." He spoke more to pick on Kai's nerves "This is Chisaki Kai."

"The future leader of the Shie Hassaikai if I might add, Kurono." He growled his friend name as you cooed at how cool it was.

"Guess what i learned (Y/n) chan? Look." The bly spoke with eargness before mentioning for you to distance yourself before he jumped to do a backflip as you gasped in awe.

"Wow Hari! So cool!!!" You gaped at him while he smiled.

Yeah... someone wasn't happy with that as he watched with envy at the distance and crossed arms.

Sure, you were on the same class with that blockhead, but you had spend almost all day with him! Dammit, what was so cool about Hari anyway? He was just going to become a subbordinate anyway, he was going to become the main boss! You should be spending time with him at least.

Yet no. You just awed at that-that idiot over there!

"Im trying this new thing called parkour, wanna watch?" The bky suddenly spoke as Kai huffed and decided to join for a bit the conversation.

"Isn't it dangerous though?" You asked in worry as Kurono made a more less signal with his hand.

"Kinda? See all of those obstacles?"

"He means the boxes he just plantes over the yard and the three." Chisaki nonchalantly stated from besides you, making Kurono a bit offended.

"Think you can do it then? Mister I know everything?"

He was taken a back at how Hari had reacted but one look towards your cute face was enough for him to scoff and accept the offer.

"Is just mostly jump and run around." He shrugged as he got by Kurono's side, in the count of three the two boys started.

Everything was fine until Hari jumped and grabbed on one of the tree branches he had swirl around with his body doing a 360 angle and landi g on the ground... although when he was his turn the dammit branche suddenly cracked, and he didn't need to be a genius to know what was going to happen.

"Shit-!"

"What on earth were you thinking kid?" The elder exclaimed when the doctor finally aplied the the cast on the boy's left arm, worried about the numerous hives that were appearing on his skin.

"He should wear it until the start of spring mister."

"Thank you miss." The woman bowed and left the room as the elder croased his arms and looked at Kai expectantly.

"I'm waiting."

"I still don't see the point of wearing this." The boy grumbled while aproaching his hand to the cast "I can just-"

"Do not even dare Chisaki or else myself is making you stay on the hospital until that arm gets better." The elder said in a low tone, making Kai internally shiver "And don't change it the topic, you often said that Kurono running and jumping around was something idiot."

The boy scoffed and looked down at his lap with a frown as the elder sighed, hopeless.

The old man's head tilted his head up when he heard a knock before smilling tendedly as he got up, looking to see who it was.

"Kai my boy, you have a visitor."

"I don't want i-"

"Hey Kai!" You greeted him and he almost choked on hsi breath at seing you there as Pops quickly got what was up with the kid.

"I will leave you two for now. Take care of him for me will you (Y/n)-chan, make sure he doesn't touch the new cast on his arm."

The flustered boy almost shouted at the elder and with one look he almost even begged to not leave the room, but it was too late.

"You're okay?" You aproached slowly, climbing on his bed as he got all tense and felt his cheeks burning up at how close you were getting.

"Is just a broken arm." He mumbled before you scooted over to be sitting right on his side, his body now freezed and mind almost blowed up.

"I'm sorry about this, I once broke my leg and I cried a lot." You smiled at him "But you didn't even cried a bit! You are very brave Chisaki-kun!"

This made him flustered a bit as he adverted his gaze with a scoff. Trying his best to ignore your giggles before he felt you poking his shoulder.

"I brought you this!" You gave to him a box of sweets which made him widen his golden eyes "When I get hurt is normal for to offer sweets and chocolates, so I thought on giving it to you!"

He gulped a bit before grabbing the box with his good arm and place on his lap to open it. The amount of chocolates and bonbons on that box made his mouth water and he cursed himself for his weakness.

"T.. Thanks." You smiled back before widening your eyes and searching in your pocket for a red pen.

"Can i draw on your cast?"

"What? No." He sais as if you had grew another head while you tilted your head.

"Why not?"

"Is a cast not a paper." He grumbled before you giggled.

"You never broke a bone before have you? Normally we write things to cheer the persons up or to distract themselfs! Like silly drawings or something else!"

"Whatever. Is not a paper so no." He grumbled before frowning at your dissapointmented face before he grumply shoved hsi broken arm in your direction, looking at every where but you "A small one and that's it."

You cheered a thanks and scribbled on it quickly. The curiosity got the better of him and he sneaked a peak only to feel more warm than before when you had written "get better soon" with a heart on the end.

"There!" You chirped, smiling at him bit blushing when you noticed he had been looking at you for quite a while now "W-Well... I-I should probably go now-"

"You brought too many of those." He quickly stated and you got confused before he coughed on his good hand and montioned tothe box on his lap "I will get a toothache because of you, so the least you could is... grab sone as well."

Yes. Fake news are a HUGE problem nowadays, especially with how fast the news are spread world-wide. It is a way to manipuate a big part of population, specially older people, conservative ones, the ones who lives in small towns and don't have much acess or don't know how exeactly the internet works.

And if you look closer, you will see these kind of news arrive exectly for this kind people, older, conservative, small town citizens. A huge part of it is orchestreted. I am not being paranoic.

They are using the algorithm.

This exeactly the main reason why my idiot/genocide president won the elections in Brazil in 2018. Spreading fake news after fake news, creating hysteria within the population . He didn't EVEN debated with another candidates to win, for you to have an idea of how dangerous fake news can be. It causes much, much harm.

The thing is... Historically saying... Internet was created not even yesterday. Historically speaking, it was created this morning. We are just in the beggining of a digital age, where informations, tech-updates, and everything is so fast. We have nothing on human history to drawn parallels with this.

The technology is changing and growing really, really fast. Faster than we can keep up with.

We (the people, the civilians. Not the scientists, not the government) We are still learning how to work with it. We are still learning the negative points, how much harm they cause, how to deal with this.

In industrialized countries, First World Countries, it may be easier. But fake news still causes harm. In a third world one? Well, I gave you the exemple of my own reality.

Freedom of speech. Social network. A virtual place where everything I post can be seem and critized by anyone. How do I aply the law for this? Where is the line? How can my opinions in a social network impact my job? My life? How can I use it in my favor?

Internet isn't a lawless place, but usually people don't understand this, or they really just don't know about it. As I said, the tech and the impact in our lives are faster than we can keep up with the most part of the time.

This is why cybernetic crimes are such a problem nowadays. That is why organized crimes are causing more harm than they have done before.

This is really a complex theme. It englobes a lot of sociology, politics, strategy, law-aplication, etc, etc.

Why would my character fight?

Ok, so as things are, and with the launch coming ever closer, I felt like making this post. Some people have asked me what would the motivation be for my troll characters to stick with the Horde in BFA, that they felt their characters could not find a reason to do so, even with more information after the burning of Teldrassil.

I say this with the intention to help, not tell anyone how they should play their character.

Crisas, and Tah, and my other Horde characters, are going to stick with the red faction because it is full of innocent people that have no fault in Sylvanas’s decissions, and have nowhere else to turn for protection.

Crisas and Tah first got into this conflict because they have a family to protect. The Darkspears have been kicked out of their home twice, and they don’t want  their younger sisters to suffer the consequences of war and combat. (This is during early wow) This sentiment extended to many, many of the citicens of Orgrimmar as the years have passed. Because, after all, these are people that only want to live their lives, and exist, and have no fault in the decissions of their Warchief. After the Siege, this resolution became even stronger.

And although they do not agree with Sylvanas’s tactics, there’s one thing she is absolutely right about; As much as during their journey Tah and Crisas have met, and befriended, different types of members of the Alliance, there will always be those that won’t doubt in using any means to destroy the Horde. And this is a fact they cannot change, and this fear is what drove them to follow Sylvanas into Ashenvale.

And even if Sylvanas has forced this to turn into a vicious cruel war, my Trolls will not allow any harm to come to their loved ones, be it from outside the Horde, or within.

Second! This may aply to Darskpears only, but my characters where on the defensive during the Battle for Lordaeron, until they saw the ship Jaina arrived in. The moment they recognized that boat, you can bet your ass the proper massacre started.

I love to talk a lot and I have a lot to say about this game and how it connects to me in a way nothing did. but I’ll try to be very sintetic for the sake of the people that will read this (probably no one). Owlboy is a fantastic indie game that makes its mark in the history of games thanks to two things. First its visual. Its backgorunds offers probably the best of pixel art that you will see. The character sprites are beautiful and have amazing animations. Theres not much more I could say about that, you can see it in every review of the game, its perfect. The second point are its characters. They are fantastic, well written and ridiculous relatable. The main character, Otus, is probably one of my favorite game characters ever now. I see my child self in him a lot. And that makes me feel a lot of diferent emotions through the game. I really love him. This is what makes the game so great, but everything else is fantastic too. The soundtrack is perfect and the level design is good. There are flaws in it tough. Specially during a second playtrough. There are some moments that are kinda a chore. Unfortunatly the pacing is far from eprfect. But is good. What really holds the story are the dialogs but the storytelling has its flaws too. One of the things that make the story so unique is also what almost ruins it. The way the story progress never giving the player a reward for their deeds, and side stories and quests leading always to sad moments is perfect to put you in Otus shoes and feel him. But is also to much used. In one moment there was this very sad side story that i lought because I was already expecting something terrible and it was. The super open ending also doesn’t helps. Owlboy in a way feels like a collection of little moments insteed of a big happening. And in the end there is nothing to wrap them up very well. The end feels more lacking them interesting. It dosen’t added to make it better. Its just “ok”. Like, all that you see in the game is a built up to something that never comes. Is very underwhelming to see all those amazing characters being built to end in such a vague way. Obviously, even with 10 years of development is still , in a way, D-Pad Studio first game. So would be ridiculous to expect everything to be perfect. Still what they achieved is fantastic. Otus and his colorful but harsh world will be forever with me even with those flaws.

Soul Retrieval & Fragments & Intrusions & Spirit Wounds

After practicing for a while I have decided to share the basics of what I know on the subject of Soul Retrievals, and some alternatives. Probably because I find it ironic that before I worked on myself, I couldn’t find no one person to turn to, and after I started working on others, suddenly I’m surrounded by people who can do soul retrievals. 

disclaimer: I am not here to tell you what to believe, if you don’t believe in souls, past lives, etc, that’s all right. I’m not here to probe anything. And as usual, read what you will with a discening eye, and read several sources to make up your own opinion.

Now, let’s start with the main topic!

What’s a Soul? 

That’s the most difficult question to adress, and the cultures around the world will have different takes on the matter. 

Because you can read on the subject and create your own conclusions, I want to give a brief modern explanation for the sake of staying on topic. 

Imagine your body being your hardware, then your soul would be the OS, and the mind is the user interface. 

The main hardware could execute more than one OS (multisystem, hive, hybrids, fragments), and in some cultures, none at all. The composition of a soul varies a whole lot between each person, and one should be flexible enough to prepare for it. 

When talking about souls, there’s the of you that lives this life - and the ones that came “before” wich are usually accesible on the Akasha. I would compare this to ROM and RAM memory. Your current life being (in this example) RAM, and all “past” lives would be ROM (only to read, not to write). Some may call this the Inmortal and Mortal parts of the Soul. 

Why make the distinction? We need to know if the problem has originate in this time and place, or in the beyond, and to act accordingly. 

Fragments and Wounds of the Soul

Souls are one of the most beautiful sources of energy, and despite they capacity to overcome great damage, they can break. They can be fragmented, they can be stolen, corrupted, and they can be otorged. 

A break can usually ocurr (but not always) after a traumatic event. Supposedly, it’s the copyng method by wich the soul tries to save us from the pain. It just happens that after they don’t want to come back, or simply can’t. They may have gotten lost on their way, or gotten attacked and stolen. 

Getting dumped can be such an event. A parent dying. Getting laught at infront of class. There isn’t a basis for what is “traumatic enough” to warrant a break. It happens, and it happens more often than expected. 

Outside trauma, it can happen when one cede the part, or the part gets stolen from us. And when I say stolen I don’t mean just spirits on the other planes. Real life people, and people who we love and love us, can steal parts of ourselves. A parent or lover who think knows what’s best for us may sometimes take a part of us to “help us”. On the other hand we have the yielding, where we give a part of ourselves to another, because we believe that is what love is about, because we want them with us forever, because we don’t believe they’ll survive without our help.

Wounds are the “feel” left behind on the place of fracture, but they not always anounce a missing part. Sometimes it means we where close to break, and haven’t managed to heal. Sometimes it means that there’s an intrusion, parasite, or something infecting and/or corrupting the zone. Wound may express themselves on a particular way, such a pain in a particular limb. Missing parts are often overlooked because they express themselves in more subtle ways. And as such, the description of the symptoms could actually have another source, and not just a missing fragment. 

Intrusions and parasites come, usually, from an outside source, and make for blockages and issues on our energy. One needs to be quite sensible to energy to know if what is being felt comes from outside or not, because this issues tend to be quite subtle - that insures their survival. I often view them as the spiritual equivalent of viruses - not quite alive but willying to do what it takes to survive. But it usually depends on the source. 

Symptoms 

A little disclaimer: the way I infer if someone is missing part of themselves comes from they way they express their pain, and if I get the feeling of it related to a fragment. A lot of the symptoms can be tied to another origin, and as such, if you relate to the list, it doesn’t mean you’re actually missing parts of yourself, but that you may need to take a more deep look into it to be sure of it.

There’re several ways of knowing if someone is fractured, and depends a lot on the culture how to go about sensing this. For example, a great way for it is to look into the person’s eyes (the windows of the soul), but because I have some scary eyes and I avoid eye-contact for the sake of the person I’m talking to, I do not partake in this technique, so I lack the understanding of it to convey it here. 

The way I use is hearing people talk about their painfull issues, and get a feeling of “this could be it”. I also use divination to check.

+The pain is felt like it was today even though the event was a really long while ago. They “can’t” get over it

+The person feels empty, broken, divided 

+They often turn to vices to fill the space left behind

+They use particular phrases to talk about the event that may hint at the fragment, like “broken heart” “a part of me died that day” “i have never been the same afterwards”

+ Can’t remember a period of their lives, or have taken a sudden change in personality 

+ They go around like a ghost, in a state of living death. 

+ Unexplained illness (varies from depression, to coma) 

This is by no chance a complete list of what to expect on someone who may be fractured. And a bunch of them can have a different origin than a fracture. It all depends, so keep that discerning eye awake and aware.

Soul Retrieval

A Soul Retrieval is the act of literally going to find the fractured piece and retrieving it, there are a variety of tools and techniques to help on this task. Again, the act of this varies from culture to culture, and I’m in no way making myself responsible for y’all so if you want to try it, find someone who knows, and make an appointment, or find a teacher. 

I couldn’t find a teacher in my country, because the spirits had another plan for me, because right after I found myself I was surrounded by chamanic teachers, all around the country.

“well, that doesn’t sound bad” you may think. I had chronic back pain for a year, bad enough that I couldn’t get up from bed without crying somedays, because it was the gift of the spirits. 

Beware the way you go around to learn of souls, and what you make of yourself, and others. And remember to take full responsability of your choices. 

Often, the soul is trapped in a memory of someone, something or someplace. They anchor themselves to the person, thing or place. Like a childhood home, a favorite coup, a once friend. 

When the soul is lost, you have to travel to meet them, and deal with whatever caughted them (if it aplies) on the other side, and then convince them to come back. The piece, after dealing with the memories and emotions that may them leave, may decide that they do not want to come back, because of several reason. Sometimes there’re conditions to be met for them to come back. 

There could be more than one missing piece, and this may take more than one session to undercover. 

What happens after?

Depends. The part/s that come back, come back with the memory&emotions they left with, and so, there’s some “rehabilitation” or adjustment period. The person got used to live without the fracture, and in turn, the fracture lived a loop of whatever caused it to break away. The person may remember what caused the break, and relive the pain once more. I tend to make this process as gentle as possible, because I fear the possible rejection of the piece (as of today, I haven’t heard of this outside of myself, I guess, but I haven’t been practicing a lot. And the other retrievers have harsher methods, to my understanding).

I always warn the person that the pieces and the Self do not go back to how it was *before* the split, but that together they become another new Self. Then there is the one before the break, the one that survived the break, the one after the union. There’s no way to go back, only forward. And if the person undertook the process, was because they decide it was necessary to their being. They should be aware that a lot of who they are may shift to accommodate they whole soul.

After (the memory and emotions have been processed), the person may feel fuller, more in center.

For energy practitioners, beware, you may rewrite your whole system, and may take a while to get used to the new way you work with energy. It should be more comfortable and intuitive, but, everybody’s experience is different.

In my case, I managed to overcome my depression, and gained a new life meaning. Not to say I was suddenly all better. It took me a whole year, and then a year of pain. Everyday is work, but for me, it’s so much better than how I used to be.

Tough As Iron / Ggang Chul Yi (2013, Ahn Kwon-Tae)

I am really glad I discovered this director. The thing is, he creates drama and thriller movies and there are already god level directors of these genres in South Korea, so  Ahn Kwon-Tae gets lost among them making it not easy to find him. And it’s sad because he creates very decent movies that have his distinct voice that you won’t find in other films.

Tough as Iron starts as a drama and continues as a thriller in the second part with very intense and breathtaking culmination.

What I liked about this movie:

- Such a wellwritten characters. Even though the story focuses stronly on the main character even supporting characters here are 100% 3-dimensional. I don’t say it often, but this movie made me forget that they are just actors and I felt like I am watching real people and real drama which made me even more emotionally invested in the story.

- I find it pretty realistic (which also made me more emotionally invested). I mean, I don’t know if that is what’s going on in criminal world, but everything lookes believable enough for me. It also aplies to a plot twist in the end, which is both logical and not very expected at the same time.

- This I think is a unique thing about this director. No matter what is going on in his movies and what his characters are going through, what are his stories really about is love. Even supporting characters have their mini arcs and side stories (or jurt short scenes) that imply that the most important thing in their lifes is loved ones. And for the main character everything literally starts and ends with love.

- I like how this movie is filled with sun and light. Which may sound like a strange choice for a tough movie like this, but I find it very fitting and atmospheric.

Also I feel like I need to worn you that some promo-materials (especially trailer) are pretty misleading, the movie is not a comedy, at least not like it’s presented in trailer. It’s a tough story and the main character’s life is not easy, be prepared for that.

The World @ 18

They say that when you go travleing it will be the best time of your life. At 24 houers and also a plan swap in dubThere are a few reasons that i left, the main one was that i didnt know what i wanted to do for a living. I had already tryed to be a chef, and i also had a go at being a computer geek. Not liking eather of the options i went to find the perfect job. The other reason for my exhile form home is that i had just lost my driving lisence, so there wasnt any way for me to get arownd in the middle of the british cuntryside. In short i traveled to the other side of the planet to find myself.
