i know i say everything is a cowboy au but dinobot and op are!! they both lived on separate ranches and they met each other because it was a small town and it was like awkward pining until op moves away and eventually meets dinobot again in a city and then they move back to another ranch once they get married and they wear cowboys hat and boots and listen to country music like cowboys are secretly frequently fond of each other

Because I needed it and because I ALWAYS confuse them, here are my designs for Life of Rescue Bots Au: Frenzy and Rumble.

Backstory: compared with the TfP and IDW Tf, Rumble and Frenzy are twin-sparks and sparklings that, like Sissi, were made during the the war, just a little before the orphanages stopped their functions. Rumble is a really energized little fembot and the one of the ideas, she likes to make plans, is smart and agile and is the voice of the reason when threatened, Frenzy is a little bot more of following, but is also a little headache because he is always making disasters and experimenting with Soundwave´s tools, also, can be kind of rude when feels on danger. In human years they should have 10-12 years old and are really hyperactive and almost impossible to calm down, unless you´re Soundwave, they´re like Soundwave´s sparklings, and are also spies, like Lazerbeak and Ravage. They transform into drones and I´m thinking if, with the time, made them transform also in some dinosaur, like a velociraptor, to match the "dino modes" of the Rescue Bots.

As Soundwave´s sparklings, they are also Heatwave and Shockwave´s niece and nephew, and can difference them easily, compared with the rest of the population, both human and cybertronian. (let´s remember they´re triplet-sparks)

Now, details, if you ask why they look like Soundwave, is because I wanted, it just felt right, but I also used a part of Shockwave and Heatwave for their designs, because their dynamic remembered me of their uncles, Rumble is a girl who likes leadership and is always prepared for trouble, but is also really sentimental, like Heatwave, while Frenzy is as curious, rude and caring as Shockwave before the empurata.

Also, fun fact: Rumble is like the older sister and Frenzy is like the youngest brother, but they both share the same brain cell.

Same happens with Shocky, Heaty and Sune, Shockwave is like the oldest, Heatwave is the middle one and Soundwave is the youngest, but when they´re together it seems like they share the same processor.

Also, funniest fact if you noticed: Why Frenzy´s eyes and leg are like that? because they´re damaged, Frenzy lost his leg in the same accident that costed Soundwave´s legs and face scars, and his eyes are a factory defect, making them part purple like Soundwave´s eyes and part blue like Shockwave´s eyes before the empurata, also, making Frenzy have the a really weird type of vision, because:

Headcanon time: For Cybertronians, purple sclerotics are the equivalent of human daltonism or color-blindness, specifically the one that makes you unable to see the red color, so, he can see normal colors in a part, but can´t see reds in another, the purple-pink pupils are normal and okay.

Also funniest fact if you noticed: Why Rumble´s eyes have red sclerotic and white pupils? because just like I wanted them to match with Shockwave and Heatwave, I wanted to match them with Soundwave and Megatron, because, in my humanformers context, Megatron is the father of these kids...

Yeah, I´m into this type of divorce angst (It´s so funny!!!)

So, cause of my Megatron x Soundwave brainrot I decided to also add some of Soundwave into Frenzy and some of Megatron into Rumble. And yes, Soundwave and Megatron were something, but Soundwave leave Megatron when stopped Shockwave permanently and leave decepticons to became an autobot (also, marrying Optimus but Soundwave doesn´t know that yet)

Get in the robot, Drillburst!

So I had a literal 3am au idea that fuses both humanformers and normal transformers into a cool mech pilot au (it's not directly evangelion or gundam but instead its own thing), not to be confused with my main humanformers au where the humans just have power armor that resembles their transformer selves. I was going to write a big lore dump under the cut but it went on for too long and I don't trust the read more sometimes, so it'll be its own post later. But for now here's a bit of info on Drill:

Drillburst pilots a repurposed 90-110 ft Bastion Class Velux Harvester, KRAN subset, one in a series of mega-drillers manufactured for deep space resource mining. His mecha is said to be defective and prone to violent explosions, making it practically a ticking time bomb that will kill its pilot if they're not careful. But Drill is in tune with it, and had it modified to better suit its destructive capability. Along with being equipped with massive drill halves on each arm that can serve as weapons, it can also charge up energy to produce electric shocks or miniature explosions from the its palms (it's a fusion between drill's current frame and drill's future v frame). He works part-time in an organization for mech pilots, where pilots complete certain tasks either in teams or by themselves. Drillburst is technically the name of the mecha, but pilots can call themselves by either their human or mecha names.

Charbee Prompts Part 8

The Boy in Yellow (Humanformers Au)

Charlie narrates how she knew a boy in high school who was a big fan of her in the school’s high diving team. His name was Benjamin O’Brien. They weren’t friends nor did they talk so often but shared almost every class. He was nice and talkative but around her, he stuttered and rambled out of nervousness. Charlie figured he had a crush on her but didn’t want to embarrass him since he was nice and was probably the loudest at her competitions (second to her dad).

When her father died, she was a junior and he was senior going to graduate in a month. He was there when her father’s heart gave out and drove both of them to the hospital. She fell asleep waiting for the news and when she woke up, the boy was gone except a yellow jean jacket with a bee patch on it. She never wore it again but she kept it. When she came back to school as a complete shell of herself, he was the only one to stick by her side. They never talked but he treated her normally and sat at a comfortable distance. She appreciated his company and knows she won’t see him again but wishes him the best since he’s going to the military after graduating.

But by some luck, she sees him again.

She just graduated and turned 18 and when she buys her first car, the boy was in the trunk, injured and unconscious. Charlie fixed him up and healed him. She didn’t know it was him at the time. The boy used to be short, skinny and pale with brown hair but now Charlie's head could barely reach his collarbone, had broad shoulder and defining muscles, tanned to a honey brown color that emphasizes his freckles and has golden blonde highlights in his hair with scars all over his body.

When he woke up, he had no voice or memory, unlike the witty, talkative voice Charlie listened to all those years ago. Charlie nicknamed him Bumblebee after the buzzing noises his throat makes when he tries to speak and at that, she gave her the yellow jacket he gifted her many years ago saying, "It matches your outfit." Looking back, Charlie wants to facepalm at how obvious it was especially when she thought to herself on how it was a perfect fit.

A recording in the car revealed where he has been all these years. Bee was a military spy for a new initiative called the Autobot Initiative, where soldiers were chosen to use weaponized cars linked to their conscience to fight and spy on enemies such as the Decepticon terrorist group. He was a deadly soldier but to Charlie, Ben hasn't changed one bit and was only hit with the realization that she loved him when she fixed the handheld radio he carried with him and he comforted her about her father. It was a terrifying realization at the time but she never really planned on saying anything or acting on it, until her neighbor Memo came in to ask her out.

Charlie makes Memo promise to not tell anyone about the car and briefly explaining that Bee is a spy. (Charlie notes that she’s still friends with Memo to this day and that he’s now dating a boy he met at a cafe.) They all go for a drive to test out the abilities of the car until they reach the cliffside. She refuses to dive after so much trauma and gets made fun by Tina. Bee comes to her defense which leads to Tina making fun of him for being mute and scarred. Charlie goes to his defense but in the heat of the moment, when Tina says, "What's up with you? Are you his girlfriend or somethin'?" and Charlie一poor, sweet, stupid eighteen-year-old Charlie一said...

"So what if I am!? Shut the fuck up!"

Charlie and Bee don’t talk about it until they get home and Memo leaves. Charlie apologized but it turns out that Bee always liked her, ever since the two met. They don’t know what the two are but Bee wanted to stay with her forever. Charlie liked that and parted with Charlie kissing his cheek.

Present Charlie remembers how happy she was that night as if they were stuck in their little bubble. She dreamt of all the adventures the two will take together, the places they'll go, the things they'll do一innocently ignorant to the war outside.

Present Charlie also remembers when that bubble popped, how she watched Bee die in front of her.

The Decepticons wanted to kill Bee for info on where his leader is. After accidentally spilling with the recording, Bee was electrocuted to death. Charlie remembered how her father died but this time, she didn’t freeze. She went straight to CPR (noting how she wished their first kiss had a better setting) and after using a defibrillator, Bee came back and with his memories.

The shock that both young adults, recognizing each other from a different time, was almost embarrassing. Charlie covered her red face realizing she gave the jacket to the same guy to gave it to her and Ben looked like he wanted to curl up in a ball, remembering his crush from high school and his actions for the past few days. Charlie remembers sharing a proper kiss with him before being rudely interrupted by the military, calling Bee a traitor and a coward.

The rest of the night was a blur, a trauma Charlie can't seem to fully recollect with the bits and pieces of the fight being too fuzzy. She remembers a pain in her head as she was thrown against concrete and the ringing raging explosions surrounding her. She remembers a green glow, a dropping feeling from a fear of heights and her body learning to dive again as she held the blurry face of a smiling blonde underwater.

The last thing Charlie recalls of the boy was their goodbyes, standing at a cliff where they overlook the Golden Gate Bridge. They hug and kiss one last time and exchange a thanks, knowing that the other touched their hearts in some way. Charlie waved goodbye never knowing if he will return but she wished him luck and a promise to never forget him. (Heartbreak following a bittersweet exasperation when Bee reveals that his car could shapeshift. "YOUR CAR CAN BE A CAMERO THIS WHOLE TIME??")

Present Charlie recites this story to an interviewer in a quiet room, not realizing there was a tear going down her cheek until a drop landed on the metal table.

"So you want to see him again? Is that what you're saying?"

Charlie shakes her head. "No. I wanna help him. I accepted the fact that I'll never see him so I want to help his cause as much as possible, because he believed in it, just like how he believed in me."

The interviewer smiled with pride and extends a hand that Charlie takes in a shake, "Then it's done. Welcome to the GI Joes, Agent Watson."

I was having a hard time coming up with anything for this, but here is something. I did bot!reader for a change, because I wanted the reader and Soundwave to be at least somewhat the same size and the other option I was thinking was humanformers, but I landed on this instead

“Soundwave, come on. I really want to try it”

“Fine” he sighed and even though you couldn’t see his optics, you could basically feel him rolling them.

“Put your servos on my waist” you requested.

Soundwave did as you asked of him, while you put your hands on his shoulders.

“And now?”

“And now, I put on the music because I forgot to do it before” you smiled awkwardly and slipped away to turn on the music.

Soundwave was standing there and just looking at what you were doing. Funnily enough, you had always been very bad with computers, and even more so the human internet, so you couldn’t get the music to play.

“Could you…?” you motioned towards the computer.

“Of course”

Soundwave pressed one button and the music you had selected, started playing. It wasn’t very loud, and the music was slow and melodic.

“Okay, so just put your servos on my waist and start swaying to the music”

You were both very off rhythm, even with each other. You found it funny, and while Sondwave didn’t say anything, you could feel him looking at you through his visor.

“I want to see your face” you said after a while of returning his gaze.

“Are you certain?” he asked a bit hesitantly.

“Of course” you smiled.

Soundwave grabbed the lower edge of his visor, and after a moment of hesitation, he lifted it up and gently threw it to the side.

His face was scarred and his left optic didn’t work properly, it hadn’t for eons. You placed your servo on the side of his face and brushed his cheek with your thumb, right under his horribly scarred left optic.

Soundwave leaned into your touch and, and slowly closed his optics lifting his servo on top of yours on his cheek. You were the only one he could just relax with, to close his optics and not fear anything. You made him feel safe, like no one ever before you could.

You weren’t sure how long the two of you just stood there. He was holding your servo while you just caressed his cheek with your thumb. He didn’t do it often but even the seasoned decepticon had a soft side. He sometimes let his guard completely down with you.

“You mean the world to me, you know that right?” you asked quietly.

Soundwave opened his eyes slowly and raised his head. You let your hand fall away from his face, but he kept holding it anyway.

“Of course. I think I sometimes forget to tell you how much you mean to me” he said and pulled you closer.

You rested your helm against his chest and focused on the hum of his spark. It was strong, and balanced, no changes in tone or frequency. Soundwave embraced you and you returned the gesture.

Soundwave felt like he didn’t want to let you go. He just wanted this moment to go on forever.

Japanese high school AU and Humanformers AU smashed together.

Mainly cause they are both as is but just about being humans. The only difference with JHA Au is that the girls and pa just moved to Japan.

Again, things are not in order, so most of the information may not make sense in the first read.

~ Suni, after high school grad, enlisted in the military.

Zelda (Phantasma) went to community college for social science and anthropology- for a social worker or anthropologist job.

Mainly because she deeply realizes she lacks self-confidence and, of course, free traveling before enrolling in college to work as a Public Safety Dispatcher.

She will remain a mechanic when she gets out after four years in service.

Flow has many degrees in performance arts, fashion design, and, of course, many in STEM.

~ When finally out of service, Suni can return to dressing to her true self: Goth.

She chopped her hair short and messy after having it long to pull it back into a clean ponytail to a bun for four years. Ditching most of the military clothes save for a few for memento purposes.

Even got her tattoos at 23 as a birthday gift.

~ Suni got Ptsd.

She had it before she enlisted- it just made it more apparent.

Zelda has a deep fear of needles/ being stabbed, especially after an indecent that led to a scar on the back of her neck.

~ Suni had two internal joint prostheses: shoulder-joint replacement and reverse total shoulder replacement on the left side.

It's her fault for that to happen- repeat injuries for her during her time in the active military- she learned her season after getting those implants.

~ Taking a cue from Tokyo tours from King Kogi. The favorite part the twins adore to visit is the back routes of Shibuya Stream and Daikanyama.

~ Unpopular food takes in Japan: Zelda finds Yuzu tastes like if one accidentally smells and inhales the lemon pledge, she misses the Panda Express in the States. The one in Shibuya could be better.

Away from the famous Shibuya scramble, sustained in grungy construction, the street stickers all over, the overpasses and bridges.

The freaking pizza by the slice is just a small comfort of their old home in the States.

Suni does not like Okonomiyaki/ Takoyaki as much as the average person- it's with all the sauce; mayo and bonito are just too much for her.

While Zelda prefers Udon over ramen but will still eat it… Suni likes instant ramen over the real stuff.

Flow does not like mochi textures- too mushy for her.

~ Zelda's favorite manga series is Nichijou. Suni's is Full Metal Alchemist. Flow's is Kageki Shojo!

~ I want to talk about Flow's and Suni's relationship.

Let me write about Flow going on her first trip to Japan to meet her pen pal in person for the first time and bring her Aunty Eartha with her or her mommies. Let there be a new side of Suni- excited to meet someone. Someone around her age- full-on trusting Flow to be her best friend.

Having the most normal queer platonic friendship despite them not fully understanding that.

Like it is so sweet, even feist-snarking Zelda would not help but smile and be slightly at ease. Because Flow may be intelligent but also not- she's making her baby sister happy with no strings attached.

~ Aside from what happened to the twins at middle school. Yes, it was terrible, but that horrible taste wouldn't fully explain everything about their behavior.

The walls around them when socializing. They're used to the long hours Fidel (Like OMG, I forgot his name until seeing that old post) working and being home alone- but they still care about Fidel and fully respect him.

But clearly able to function with independence in doing chores and stuff, aside from financial freedom and proper mental health- Papa Fid is teaching them that.

Their lives before meeting Fidel were depressing.

They do not know their biological father- they (the twins) never spare a thought. And their birth mother wasn't horrible but clearly not a good person or mother: mediocre.

They don't know of their other relatives, let alone if their mother is the only one alive or was cut off.

Fidel recently moved into their apartment complex (closer to his place of work) when the twins were in mid-late elementary.

Fidel noticed a little early on something strange about these two girls sitting outside one door. No one was letting them in or was too upset to say inside after learning from passive conversations with the neighbors and noticing some suspect visitors to the apartment. He contacted the girls and spoke to them.

They don't trust him at first- feeling like he's like the other people going into their house. Zelda even threw a shoe at him while standing in front of Suni.

Eventually, Fidel's patience and offer of letting them stay in a warm apartment with food eased the two, putting away their distrust and turning him into their sitter. Fidelis never got to fully meet their mother, only glimpses.

How did Fidel become their guardian?

Oh- their mother got murdered.

Fidel fought tooth and nail to get the girls under his custody.

~ For Rai @askburningpassion​. Hear me out. It's not part of the long-reaching plan of Rai's true bio papa, but it would be funny if one of his goons got beaten up by Suni/ Zelda, but they couldn't report it as they've got beaten up by a bunch of high schoolers. The embarrassment. The same for Rai's mom's ex-gang members.

(Timeline Fidel was just about to win the fight for adopting the girls and setting up to move the three of them to Japan when those sad excuses of friends threw Suni under the bus. And they know the twin's mom got murked.)

Talking about their time before meeting Fidel is a loaded situation for the twins. Either it comes out so blunt with honesty the listener is too aghast or answers with ominous silence. It's best to talk to Fidel about the past.

Fidel may not know or realize, but he saved a higher-ranked Decepticon in the day, so they're waiting to return the favor.

Because this part was talked about in the DMS and from a past thread, it is more or less about Rai as the girls get older.

It's messy.

With the murder of the parents, the kidnap of the poor child, and Riki being forced to leave for a family friend. And I know how Rai might be kidnapped by a rival ninja clan, and the two girls and Riki are worried sick for her.

Suni went as far as invading the Decepticon base and beating almost everyone in a rampage to find answers.

And once the bittersweet reunion happens, and Rai gets some revenge...

Rai and Zelda would watch in the distance as a suitor approached Suni-- murder wouldn't be involved.

~ Given all the information I gave about Suni's and Zelda's past, I'm tempted to make a scene:

~ Rai would be perplexed with Flow. At first, she'll be worried that she's like those girls chasing her older brother or worse, those mean ones. But seeing her in person, she looks like a fairy.

And again very much like the twins when talking with her brother. She later learned while yeah Flow found him cute she kept her distance. Suni wrote about him to her, she first thought it was hyperbole of his distasteful love life until she witnessed the mobs of lovesick girls.

The albino would be very concerned about his mental health about that.

Also, Rai would be Flow's little model as the fashion princess gave her cute little outfits and accessories. Same with Rai's and Riki's mom.

Those ex-friends of Suni essentially betrayed her trust and left her under the bus until she moved out of the States because they were jealous she was a rising star in the wrestling team instead of them.

Years later, without contact, Suni would have blocked all contact information with them.

She told them she gave up the sport because it associated so much pain of being abandoned by people the girl would have thought she could trust before marching out of the area.

News for some international school competitions whisps around, but it puts Suni in a grouchy mood and blocks it out. And she (mutual peeps) and Zelda accidentally meet up with Suni's old wrestler team coach.

Suni wants nothing to do with them and tries to leave the area while the former couch (not aware of Suni's distress) tries to stop her, apologizing for their part and wishing her luck for the competition only for Suni to snap at them.

~ @braveggg-hq Out of the twins, depending on which brave member you've asked, you'll get a different response on who is the scariest Visser twin.

We got Suni. Despite being an introverted string bean who loves to garden and fix up cars, she will react like a vengeful spirit when forced to fight... 

Then there is Zelda.

Of course, the group would be delighted to hang out with the twins with some unique visits from their father.

She keeps getting into places she should not be allowed and the information she obtained. Making the person she wants to mess with annoyed, angry, or legit cornered.

However, the ninjas found a way to stop her grubby hands on any dangerous information and the AIs' big secret:

Vanilla Wafer.

The golden-eyed little shit's cursed long Furby. Kidnap the cretin and bargain with the sassy teen whenever they need her to back off.

But will they feel a little guilty?

They couldn't get too close to the girls and their father- the Braves have far too many secrets about their true nature. But if they do tell them all they can about themselves --it'll be unfair to let these people lose their everyday lives and get involved with crime and E.T. threats.

And that is way before learning that the twins went through shit because of underhandedness- the reason Suni had a hard time trusting her peers in her school. At the same time, Zelda generally is hostile, if not bombastic, to almost everyone- even more so if her baby sister is involved.

The guilt will grow.

And then those who want to get closer to one of the twins.

Duke- not a human but a disguised one- Suni, an actual human.

Suni needs to learn about Duke's or the rest's big secrets of them being robots. Duke is developing a crush on Suni; he'll be devastated because she's outside the group of humans that knows the many secrets of the B.P.- GGG braves.

He is scared that if she finds out, she'll hate him and never want to see him and the others again. 

Can you imagine the scenario of seeing something terrible happen to Suni that puts Duke in a tight spot?

He can't get out into his proper form in front of her.

People briefly go their separate ways after high school.

And running away would make things worse, against his code to help people. Or be trapped in his human disguise and forced to watch Suni get hurt or die before his eyes.

Or

It happens.

The braves got a call from 110 (911 for Japan) of someone getting stabbed by a suspect they were looking for-- and the person who got stabbed was Zelda.

Duke didn't confess his feelings as Suni went to enlist, and Zelda was busy with college.

The Braves are doing their own thing, too. So they never had a chance to be together, let alone contact.

For years, the group being together was just a part of life that came and went... but what if not?

It was a reunion they didn't want to happen like this.

Zelda survived, but at that very moment, everyone thought she was not lucky when she was in intensive care.

~ Also, @bladedalchemistreplica, I don't have all the details but hear me out: a combo of this au and your new environment au.

To start, teen Ozar is somehow on Earth. It was a brief time- he is baffled about meeting Flow, maybe saving her from some unsavory group.

Eventually, he returns to his place-- Flow writing about her bizarre adventure to her confused pen pal Suni. While teeny, Ozar told Olia and Te-osh that an angel or an Altean hybrid helped him. It would only lead to something once they're adults. (cause time dilation, y'all )

Or some Blade sees the teens' father and says, "Yeah, I want that (courting)."

Ok so. I have a bunch of posts still in my drafts and I really shouldn't start anything new but like...

The prime family. OP, Ratch and Bee. Dealing with Bee getting wounded by Megs and losing his voice. Hcs and things to consider/explore:

- Pretty sure ripping one's vocal chords out is rather deadly. Hc Megs was just idk, choking him or sth. Or forced some serious irritant down his throat like idk poison or sth. And maybe leaving the damaged chords would be super dangerous so either KO or later Ratch have to surgically remove them. Both versions interesting to explore ('cons didn't help? they're ALL as cruel and heartless as Megs! 'cons helped? no, they just made things worse, it was a malpractice for sure!)

- OP and Ratch dealing differently with the situation. Both are shaken that Megs did that. Both incredibly worried over their son. Ratch is furious, can't sit in one place and has violent outbursts, ready to rip Megs to shreds and not even trying to hide how furious he is. OP is just... miserable. Trying to figure out what to do. Trying to still be a good leader while bearing the burden of being a father who's son got attacked like this by a person that was once upon a time dear to him. Was it possible to play it out differently? Was it possible somehow end the war? Was he too soft, was he to strict? Is it all his fault?

- Either of the dads falling asleep by Bee's side because of course they do.

- OP and Ratch arguing. Ratch doesn't say it outright and wouldn't even think such things but it kinda sounds like he blames OP for being too soft and for letting that happen. He sure hopes OP doesn't have any bits of hope left regarding Megs. I mean how would anyone dare to have any hope left for that demon? OP just wants to know why. Why did Megs do it, what made him do it. But to Ratch he's not angry enough about it. Why isn't he furious as well, doesn't he care?! Both feel alone in this.

- Omg imagine OP feeling like shit and just flopping to bed after a rough day. And Ratch feeling so bad about this 'cuz this is the guy he loves, he shouldn't let him feel so miserable! And he feels so bad for calling him too soft. Maybe OP is too soft but hey, that's one of the reasons he married him in the first place. and then megatron truly shows them what a monster he's become and its awful and op just shuts down, because he cannot lose face even when a tragedy like that strikes them. and ratchet knows it, knows why op can't afford to lock himself in a room with their son and just cry his heart out, but it still hurts ratchet to see op rallying their troops as if nothing happened, while bee is still hooked up to several life saving appliances and can't even leave his bed >m<

I don't claim to be super good at it but!

1. Like. Research. Lots of it. Step away from common naming conventions and embrace the full absurdity of something like Stacker Pentecost being a viable name with a viable background. This is your world, play god, make it as cool as you want it to be because the real world is a lot cooler than you'd imagine it to be. Will it be ridiculous? Only if one character has it---establish it as a normal thing in the narrative and no one bats an eye in story. Also keep in mind the way names are written/spoken in different cultures and/or the certain ways they are significant. I spent a while trying to figure out how to name Soundwave's mother because Balinese names have a very unique structure where it's something along the lines of gender-number in the family-given name, I made a mistake (rectified quickly) with Elita-1's name (forgetting the differences between Russian male and female surnames for a split second) and Minimus Ambus' surname, Addepalli, is a surname used by members of the Ksyatriya caste (which he is part of).

2. It depends on HOW exactly you intend for the name of your Humanformers to translate over from their original names. I have a system, that is given name and surname based off first letters of the first names and second names (Optimus Prime, therfore Omar Parvez, HotRod therfore Hanley Riordan). For Transformers with single-word names like Jazz, I grab the first and last letters ie. Jace Zayden. Sometimes though, even that doesn't sound right with certain names like Prowl, where I need it to start with a P, but ending on an L doesn't fit the sound of the name in my head, where the 'W' is stronger, so I chose to focus on that W instead ie. Preston Wan.

3. Going off both of the above, the sound of it. I love something like Mako Mori, the way the first name flows into the second, the repetition of the first letter. It plays into why I named Jazz something like Jace (pronounce Jayce) Zayden---it flows into the next word---and stuff like Stefan Scavarro or Benjamin Bane, where the repetition of the first letter sticks. Say the Transformer's name a few times and figure out where the focus is. Ramhorn = Ram/Han = Raminah Hamdan. Have the number of syllables match like Te-O Cor-Tes/Thun-Der-Crack-Er. Play with the arrangement of syllables, in two-threes, three-twos, three-ones and so on. If it sounds good, lilting, musical, go with it!

I don't usually bother with trying to streamline the meaning of a name with the way the person is at their current moment since lbr that's not how names usually work (It may be given as something parents would hope for the children, but the children don't necessarily grow up to embody), but you can do you!

(Note: imagine it's like a legacy quirk that's been handed down similar to One For All. Maybe part of his origin was that he was quirkless or first or had a much weaker quirk that helped him as an archivist. But Power of Prime was given to him by his teacher, probably Alpha Trion. Maybe it's the start of his and Megatron conflict as like in the show the Decepticon was also vying for that power.)

Quirk: Clear-Vision

Ability: Able to look through a number of items as clear as glass, both in living and none living things. Uses ability to see the problems hidden within and is helpful to his work as a doctor as he works as his own x-ray

Quirk: Shadow Travel

Ability: Able to travel stealthily between the shadows of any given person or thing. Tho definitely helps in her work as an underground hero. Needs a clear view of her targets shadow before teleporting to it. Here power is at its weakest in the dark and the smaller the shadow the more stamina it takes up.

Hero Name: Bumblebee

Quirk: Electric Stingers

Ability: Able to produce strong electric charges from the stingers located on his forearms. A nasty shock for any villain who crosses his path!

Hero Name: Smokescreen

Quirk: Smokescreen

Ability: Able to make his body into an intangible smoke and produce a thick fog from it. It leaves both his body invulnerable and his attacks a surprise.

Hero Name: Bulkhead

Quirk: Heavy-Metal

Ability: Able to turn his body into a near indestructible metal. Side affects are if he uses it for too long his body being to stiffen up.

Hero Name: Wheeljack

Quirk: Time-Bomb

Ability: Able to super charge the atoms in any non-living object, he can will it to self combust at a specific timeframe. Even at a distance of five feet. Only the item must detonate at that specific time frame or the effects of the charge wear off.

Ability: Able to conjure a giant hammer at any given time. While this ability seems limited, Ultra Magnus more than makes up for it with his strength and years of experience as a hero.

Heatwave doesn't admit it but he likes roleplaying, specially fantasy, which makes Boulder confused because they think he hates it and just accepts because Boulder asked for

Usually is Heatwave who rides

But Boulder has a better glossa

Due to the height difference, Boulder always ends up tarnishing Heatwave's windows

Boulder gets excited easily, so, Heatwave constantly teases him during action, so, Boulder doesn't overload fast (which is pretty common)

Both are really loud, more than they would like, they always promise the other "I would be quiet" and they never do

That's Boulder's fav joke because is like a roulette, sometimes that makes Heatwave hotter and sometimes that scares him off

Heatwave's fav joke is that Boulder likes physical contact on ALL the thing, not just kisses or interfacing itself, like, Boulder is almost glued to Heatwave all the time, and sometimes is hard to move while having a heavier bot than you under your frame who doesn't want you to let go, specially when that bot is stronger

They're more vanilla but sometimes can be rough (just a little)

They're not of talk a lot but is normal that a shy request or a "yes" or "harder" scapes from them

The funniest thing about them on interfacing is how they always act with little touches and confident looks like if they were asking for something before doing things out of the routine

A silly thing for our OCs, but who would be the best behaved in the Doctor's to the worst. (Like regular checkups, nothing too bad.)

Morphine - as a medic himself and being dead inside he really doesn't care what's being done to him. Easiest to deal with. You could tell him he needs a surgery and he'd just shrug like ok whatever, now or do I have to come later?

Renfrew and Breeze - good and unproblematic babs. Don't like needles and painful stuff but won't show it (may complain a bit with Breeze may try being a bit flirty to lighten up the mood). It's no big deal but they do appreciate hugs afterwards.

MiniMint - she's fine, real good bean, deserves a sticker. If there are needles involved it will make her uncomfortable but she knows how to behave. Feels best if she's held tho 'cuz she's afraid she'll involountarily twitch and make things worse. But dw, that never happens. Probably won't ask for it but really appreciates some sweets afterwards. Get her some enerjuice or enerjellies. Distracting her withmaking her nerd out about rocket science will make her forget about any unpleasanties just as well.

Taffy - uhh are we talking before or after the trauma?

Before - he's flirty. Good bab, maybe a bit annoying if you have low tolerance for flirty goofballs. Theatrical drama queen when there's needles involved. Tries to cover up how much he doesn't want it. He's gonna need help calming down. It's not that he'd escape but he needs to be held for comfort. Panics more than it's worth. Afterwards needs to be taken for ice cream or else will sulk for the rest of the day like an offended princess.

After - needs his trinemates to hold him. Preferably restrained in a blanket burrito 'cuz he really doesn't like to be touched. Even for the slightest checkup he needs to be held close and softly talked to. And it's not even being a drama queen about it, the distress is real. Good thing at-home checkups are a thing 'cuz the poor bean wants to avoid any contact with anyone other that his trinemates and close friends. Good thing he has 2 medics among his frind group. Luckily eventually he improves to the point of being like before or even like Mini.

TerrorRain - will complain and be a bitch 'cuz he doesn't need no check ups. Will refuse to have stuff done to him, may need to be dragged in by someone strong enough even if it's just a check up. Doesn't fear needles but will not follow doctor's recommendations unless it later ends with shit going badly and him thinking "Uhh... I... probably should've listened." Much better chances of getting him to cooperate if the medic in charge is not Morphine. They're gonna be extra jerks to one another.

StrongSpark - he's a child of special needs. Can't understand what and why is happening around him and being blind surely doesn't help. Sure he spends a lot time at hospitals but that doesn't make him any less distressed or more used to it. The same procedures that normally take just a while stretch into hours as he needs a lot of preparations and comforting. And often some sedatives when he gets muscle contracture malfunction out of stress. Requires the most time of all listed here but is also most innocent. Sparky is the only bot Morphine has so much unending patience for. He gets lots of love from both his parents (yes, even Terry and Morph are capable of love). Years later he improves and manages to understand that the pain is usually temporal and just letting it happen will result in less of it. Oh and also he learns to talk a bit!

god. anon.  this is my favorite ship in the world and I am so excITEDDD to tell you abt it from like, a non-gross perspective

rodimus and megatron are, to me, the definition of complementary opposites.  the comic even said it-- they’re at their best when they’re together!  obviously, they butted heads like, a lot when they first met each other, but what I find so interesting about the ship is that they genuinely did come to have a mutual respect/admiration/affection for each other by the end of the comic.  It’s this very observable path of growth that I enjoy thinking about in terms of ‘well, what if it was a little bit more,’ y’know?  

what I specifically like about megarod is that they are both what the other needs.  rodimus needed someone to be the rock to his fire, moon to his sun, on and on because Megatron is firm and decisive and (especially later on in the series!) consistently there for rodimus when he needs him to be.  Megatron needed someone to be his motivation-- his inspiration, his reminder of why he is trying so hard to turn his back on the person he used to be.  rodimus is megatron’s fire; he is such a genuinely good person with a heart of gold (for all he tries and tries to hide behind a cocky, self-absorbed veneer) that it’d be impossible for megatron to ignore.

^^ i’m just saying.

I think that the idea of a story about two very broken people who make each other better, two people who are forced to come together (at first against both of their wills) and work through their issues with each other to the point where they realize that they’re complementary and that!! as rodimus says!! they are “at their best when they’re together”-- that story, that romance, just hits different to me, man. 

megarod has the potential to be such a good ship, if people would just be goddamn normal about it.  a good 90% of the fics for this ship are bad!! they’re either incredibly ooc or all weird and abusive and i’m just not with that chief!! I think that if you approach megarod from the very strict idea of it not being a hateship, but essentially as much of a slowburn as any of the other canon mtmte ships-- you’ll have a good time.

finally, add all this sappy shit in with the fact that i really fucking enjoy a little size difference okay let me ha ve this

(sidenote: this au is one of my favorite megarod fics, even if it’s humanformers and not strictly canon megarod)

I’ll leave you with one of my favorite parallels in Lost Light (between canonly married couple anode and lug and then, not even a few pages later, between rodimus and megatron)

I’ve been binge-watching Initial D lately, and I finally caved... introducing, the Initial TF AU! (im sure this has been done before,,,,) More info under the cut ^^

This is mostly a mix up of all the TF continutites, because I couldn’t stick with just one ^^’

Optimus lives with his father, making runs over a local Mount Iacon pass to deliver important paperwork to Alpha Trion after working throughout the day as a security guard. He’s a recent graduate, and used to fill whatever freetime with studying history. Now, he’s spending evenings with the rest of team Autobot around Iacon trying to stay atop of their racing game. He drives a hand-me-down AE-86, like Takumi’s.

Megatron comes from Mt. Kaon, and leads the Destron racing Team. He’s known for having practically built himself his own little ‘empire’ over there, and has started reaching out to other local groups in an attempt to become the best racer in all of Cybertron. That is, if Starscream stops trying to cause a wreck every other night. He drives an R34 which he worked for himself to get. Hes super proud of it.

Both probably look so young because compared to normal humanformers, I tried to stick with the gerneral idea in Initial D where its a bunch of young (20-30) people enjoying themselves and the cars they drive. So, Optimus is an early 22, and Megatron is closer to 27 (though currently 26).

I have ideas about other characters, and will be making more refs for them, but feel free to ask about it!! Pls do actually aah i rlly like this idea.
