I sigh and place my phone down in front of me, turning to look at Matt again, who's parked at his desk playing some game his chat told him to play.

I sit up in his bed, still out of frame though, and turn fully around to look at him.

I think about it for a second before I stand up and walk to stand next to him.

"Oh, hey babe."

I hum and lift his arm up, carefully sliding into his lap and draping my legs over the arm of the chair and resting my head on his shoulder.

He just goes back to playing the game, although adjusting himself so he can play around me.

He leans his head on mine while he plays, and I start to feel my eye lids get heavy.

"Tired?"

"Mhm." I nod my head and wrap one arm around his torso, holding myself closer to him.

He presses a kiss to the top of my head and goes back to playing, humming quietly as he does so, occasionally talking to the chat, the vibrations from his chest lulling me to sleep.

Ep 131:

-this is the biggest nitpick of all time but you seriously can’t tell me there were ZERO other Uchihas who were away like Sasuke was while Itachi was murdering everyone

-I know it’s just because of the dub trying to match the Japanese honorifics but it annoys me so much when siblings in anime refer to each as “Big Brother” and “Little Brother” and so on

-goddddd little Sasuke’s voice acting is so bad

-Itachi’s explanation that he massacred the clan so that Sasuke would hate him and want to defeat him is both definitely a lie AND really stupid

-okay so maybe Itachi DID kill Shisui? I’m 100000% sure that there’s something more going on under the surface with the Itachi plot but it’s so hard to know what to believe

-Jesus Christ why did NO ONE in the village check on Sasuke after his fucking clan got murdered???

-ngl this “kill your best friend” thing is a lil cringe

Ep 132:

-YES KAKASHI GO GET YOUR KIDS

-is Pakkun the only one of Kakashi’s dogs that talks? I can’t remember if any of the others have spoken or if they just bark

-jeez Kakashi’s dogs travel fast. It literally took them like 5 minutes to alert Kakashi that they found something

-awww poor Naruto, he looks so heartbroken when he realizes that Sasuke really wants to kill him. Also his little monologue about his relationship with Sasuke made me sad

-also this is an unrelated point but it’s so funny how Shikamaru and Choji are always just vibing in the background of Naruto and Sasuke’s flashbacks to when they were little

-Jesus Christ Sasuke take a fucking chill pill

-oh fuck NOW Naruto’s going apeshit

Ep 133:

-holy shit the animation is already popping off. In a way it’s kind of distracting tho because the animation style and character models look noticeably quite different

-Naruto said “when I’m with Iruka, I wonder if this is what it’s like to have a father” and now I’m fucking ugly crying about Iruka and Naruto’s relationship

-it’s very interesting to me that Sasuke put his headband back on, indirectly acknowledging Naruto as an equal

-ughhhh the fight animation is going so hard

-the Sharingan continues to be stupidly broken

-the water set piece for this fight is SO good, all the splashes on the impacts are so satisfying

-oof the brief haunted expression on Sasuke’s face when he sees Naruto burnt-up at his feet was so good, it’s one of the most expressive faces he’s ever made

-oh Naruto is just going fully feral now? Yeah shit is about to go DOWN

-so far Sasuke’s curse mark form is underwhelming. I hope there’s more to it

Ep 134:

-what the fuckity fuck is going on with Sasuke’s hand wings

-the animation of Sasuke’s chidori in his cursed form is crazy

-bruh why is the scene of little Sasuke and little Naruto linking hands with the sad piano music making me so emotionalllll

-damn all the symbolism with Sasuke’s headband (him putting it on, it getting scratched, it falling off, and him leaving it behind) is making me insane. When it fell off I immediately felt so sad

-and of course it’s fucking raining

Yellowjackets 03x03

They remembered this is a horror show and clocked the fuck in.

This episode was insane, are they crazy? Some people were complaining that it was a filler episode, but who cares? It was perfectly written. No men and Jackie.

Van's cancer is basically gone. They assumed that it was because of the people they sacrificed and Tai immediately picked up the candle to call the wilderness. So they have an interesting plot ahead of them. I'm scared Tai is going to start killing people to keep Van alive.

I'm also scared that the one calling the wilderness was another Tai, and we don't know when the real Tai is on screen. They are cute tho.

I wish we could see Misty and Shauna together in every episode. They are so funny. Also, I love that Shauna doesn't play about her minivan.

Lottie needs to back up a bit, actually. I did suspect her not having a place to stay was a lie, but what does she want with Shauna? Why is she using Callie to get to Shauna? That's a crazy way to get Shauna into anything. Leave Shauna's kids alone

The necklace means Callie is the next sacrifice in Shauna's mind. I assumed that's why Lottie said "I never meant what you thought it meant".

Melanie's acting when she saw Jackie's necklace on Callie, that's an emmy worthy performance. The tears, the "Get the fuck out of my house" the way she looked at Callie after. Now Callie knows the meaning of "We are all scared of your mom". Wilderness Shauna was about to come out and beat the hell out of Lottie, again.

That opening with Mari and Ben was hilarious. I'm sorry but how can you want Mari to be pit girl?

Some people were dragging my girl Shauna for being angry and mean last episode, just for her to be the pookiest character in this one. That conversation with Melissa was the best. She doesn't know how to act so she acts all tough, and she probably feels lonely. My babygirl.

She can't even mourn her best friend and son in peace, bc Lottie's cult mentality doesn't leave her alone.

Melissa had to take one for the team.

No doubt she is a dork. Getting little braids to go to talk to Shauna, girl she would rip them off if you give her a reason. But she risked all and now she is about to be with this beautiful brown eye girl.

The hallucination sequences were amazing, and I find it interesting that they picked Akilah and no one of the regular girls. She is probably screwed for eating those berries.

Van and fire, always connected.

Shauna seeing her son throw me a bit ngl. Of course, she is mourning but I've never seen Shauna that maternal. Or maybe because I've always assumed Shauna's biggest loss in the wilderness was Jackie's death.

I want to thank Ella because she has like 10 projects going on at the same time, but she found time to give us Cunty Jackie hallucination.

The way I gasped when I saw that 9 on my screen. My beautiful girl came back to punish Shauna for kissing another girl. I can't believe Shauna wasn't crashing out at the sight of Jackie. Well, this version of Jackie anyway.

I love the theory that Akilah didn't get a scratch because she hasn't done anything wrong, Van got a deep cut but nothing serious, but Shauna almost died because of what she has done in there.

But what really got me in that scene was Lottie saying "Akilah save her or she'll die. We'll all die" I said before that I believe Shauna was the antler queen because she's the one who gave them permission to eat Jackie and save them from starvation. She'd be the one who kept them alive because she's ruthless and loves them deeply even if she hates them.

this is literally just me writing stuff up in no real order so there is probably not all that much coherence to it. ah well

loved how unsettling it was having something wrong with the tardis! the tardis (in the tv show at least) is usually the one guaranteed safe place in any given dr who episode and so to have it suddenly a threat like that felt genuinely unnerving

the time window sequence was cool. really liked the fuzzy, there-but-not-quite-there visual effects

i also loved the monologue/prophecy/whatever, built things up very nicely and idk. i just vibed with it. i have more to say but the words are not coming to me right now

"and standing on high is the Mother and Father and Other of them all" i haven't even read lungbarrow but them saying "other" here immediately got my attention lmao

for an episode called "the legend of ruby sunday", it felt like (particularly in the last third of the story), there was remarkably little actual focus on ruby. while i do genuinely like her as a companion, i do feel like she's been one of the biggest casualties of the shift to a shorter series length with less time for "filler" episodes - we simply haven't had the time to get to know her on a deeper level, and i was hoping, given the title, that this story would do something to rectify that a bit. and then it didn't.

saying that, i did appreciate them giving her some more scenes with her mum this episode, i think she has a really nice dynamic with her family and we haven't seen enough of it since the christmas special imo

no trickster :( he got a mention at least but i was hoping he'd be the villain ngl

i have watched pyramids of mars once, four years ago, and barely remember the plot (my main memories of that episode are sarah with a gun ngl), probably going to have to rewatch it before next week. dailymotion you may have to be my saviour once again

not entirely sure how i feel about sutekh as the main villain. this is at least in part because my memories of pyramids of mars are hazy as anything, but i'm just... undecided. to its credit, the episode itself actually did a good job of getting me very excited about the reveal while i was watching, but as an overall thing? i don't know yet. i think i'm going to have to wait until i've watched the finale next week to form a full opinion

i reckon he must have hitched himself onto the tardis around/during "wild blue yonder" though - this is the first time where the tardis starts making The Noises, and is also the first time susan twist turns up, and that can't be a coincidence, especially given that, as previously established, it was likely fourteen's salt trick in this episode that let the toymaker back into the universe

i rewatched "the church on ruby road" earlier this week bc i figured it'd be a good shout and i hadn't watched it since broadcast, and during that i felt like mrs flood was maybe a "retired" companion, possibly a future companion (maybe of a future doctor) that we haven't met yet. after this ep though, i'm not so sure. she seems at least aware of sutekh in some way, and also seems potentially antagonistic, but i'm not sure she's actually directly linked to him. i'm fairly sure as well rtd said at some point she's more of a mystery for later series so. hm. it'll be interesting to see what more we get of her in part two

i can't shake the feeling that they are going to do something with susan further down the line. there have been more mentions of her in this series than in basically the rest of new who put together and i can't help but think that this must be for a reason even if susan twist wasn't her

anyway the real mystery for me: what is the vlinx. i have been thinking about this on and off since december. what is it. how did it get into unit to begin with. i need answers

okay "the package" over. it's an okay episode? it didn't particularly stand out to me but it "did its homework" as i would say in my native language lol.

i'd say it's more of a sun-centric episode than jin-centric bc basically jin in the flash-forward has the same exact storyline than pre-island jin. the character that drives the action is still sun which, in a way, it tracks bc the flash-forwards basically try to stay faithful to the "normal" timeline so ig it's okay? I also have to admit that I find Daniel Dae Kim an incredible actor so, on one hand I'm fine with whatever he does, I'm sold, on the other, I would've liked to see him playing jin a little differently just for the sake of it.

what didn't convince me at all was charles widmore. he wasn't impressed/scared of /awed by "the myth, the ghost story, the rumors in the jungle, the thing", aka the Man in Black/John Locke, not even one bit and while i can potentially understand it from the charles' characterization pov which is, admittedly, quite cartoonish, it also takes me out of the story. we've spent 6 seasons being scared of this damn smoke, the whole first half of S6 could be considered as one mega filler episode showing how scary this damn smoke is and then charles widmore arrives and it's "all smoke and no roast" (as i'd say in my onw language)?

it's the same issue i have with jacob: i can feel the writers weren't enamoured with these characters enough. the man in black is way more interesting than jacob is but i think Terry O' Quinn playing him piqued my curiosity in this character because a. Terry is a fantastic actor and 2. we know john from the pilot so OF COURSE, as an audience, we're more familiar with his literal face than Mark Pellegrino's playing jacob.

so going back to charles, just like i didn't see any gravitas when ben meets jacob, i haven't seen any now that charles has met the man in back even if i'm actually interested in the latter, it still isn't enough because nobody really seems to care that this guy is the smoke monster who's committed massacres and HAS JUST committed a carnage, lol, so why should I?

they've built up all this tension and for what? no, seriously, for what? i just don't see it. not to mention that, generally speaking, i always find it laughable when they tease viewers with the promise of some terrifying monster and then... it's just Some Random White Guy in a T-shirt. lol. I mean, I can see the reality behind that for sure but it's also a bit disappointing at times, ngl.

That analysis about Sukuna and Gojo is SO good. I actually think they are really jealous that we love Sukuna even at his lowest. Also, why are they blaming Gege saying he treated Gojo like a tool? Isn't that what his fans do with him? Like, 90% of the discussion about him is his fight with Sukuna. Like, they NEED that fight, it's like Gojo stops existing without it

I'll tell you what, Sukuna can lose 100 fights that he will still be a character, maybe Gojo can't do that if he basically disappears unless they need to convince themselves Gojo won and how important that fight is. It's amazing how a lot of Sukuna fans don't even want that fight anymore while I saw even gojo stans begging sukuna stans to recognize that fight. Myself? I wish it never happened. Let gojo die to those supposed superior villains (aka didn't kill gojo) gojo stans say, but everytime you say "ok then Gojo should have fought Mahito or Kenjaku, never Sukuna!" They just get triggered and say NO, PLEASE, THE FIGHT WITH SUKUNA SHOULD HAPPEN

See? Now I really hope sukuna comes back and gojo doesn't. I'm sorry, but I have never been THIS tired of a fandom, and I have been in Naruto and other fandoms with shipping wars and everything, but that was never as BAD as this.

Leave Sukuna alone, not my fault he doesn't need Gojo to be a character, sorry

gooooood morning, anon. i'm so glad i woke up to this because i spent a lot of time thinking about that gojo vs sukuna last night.

i have noticed that a lot of people hate that gojo is a "tool" in the manga and yet their own headcanons about him are always that he should have to fight sukuna and win. notice that they always want gojo to win, which is never easy in a fight with sukuna. it's a lot of hard work. but besides that, wanting a character to do only one thing and have it go with only one outcome, that's about as one-dimensional as you can get with that character. they literally only want one thing to come from gojo going into that fight, and that's no better than gege treating him like a tool as they claim.

because even if they want gojo to be this complex and fascinating character (ngl i feel like a lot of his personality traits are a bit like filler - he's just a mix of all the fan favorite and common tropes of other anime mentors with some backstory to stir it all together) him only doing one thing ever (winning) is so boring and doesn't do his character justice at all. and the fans who hate on gege can't really see that.

meanwhile, sukuna is more than capable of being a strong character who can have multiple different outcomes, and not all of them have to be him winning. in fact, some of his best moments are when he has to work harder or reconfigure a different plan. it always make him more complex and interesting.

so that's why sukuna winning made since while gojo winning didn't. because sukuna actually had a plan in motion, he wasn't cheating or being fake because he needed to possess megumi to reach that level of power (he didn't even have all 20 fingers so him making up for the lack of it by possessing megumi was an intelligent move on so many different levels) and his unique cursed techniques and longtime experience made him an inherently better fighter than gojo. now i could care less if their positions were reversed and gojo was the one who had a lot more experience fighting, because it doesn't matter when sukuna actually does his best to learn from others and improve his abilities as he goes along. meanwhile, a lot of fans just want gojo to be powerful and not have to take a lesson from others in order to reach it.

another thing is, gojo was born the strongest and given so much wealth and special treatment. even if the jjk world only wanted to use him as a tool (which, cmon, they do to every sorcerer - the whole point of sorcerers is to serve as tools that restabilize the imbalances of power, even Geto's character understood they were all just cogs) gojo still had a lot of privileges and second chances given to him that not a lot of other characters could afford to have.

and idk if we can really confirm this or not, but sukuna seems to have a totally different experience, one where he was immediately shunned by the normal world and only seen as a force of strength for other sorcerers to test their skills against. i don't think anyone took ending sukuna's reign of terror that seriously, they only wanted to claim the title of being the strongest. not only that, so much about sukuna is still a mystery or very layered, mostly him being contradicting (especially where yuuji is concerned) and not revealing his past.

this turned out to be longer than i thought it would, but yeah... it's been on my mind a lot. gojo's character served a purpose when he died. not only did it show how much of a pure threat sukuna is (even if all that power wasn't inherently his own, it still shows he's good at coming up with plans that counterbalance his other weaknesses) but it also showed us how gojo's character can be seen in an entirely different light: someone who lost. he always thought he could win anything, but him dying showed a different side to him, because he even looked peaceful during death.

and if he comes back, fans don't realize it would mean that afterlife scene with geto would be simply meaningless. they adore stsg so much so i'm actually surprised that they want gojo to come back to life, bc it would mean leaving geto behind. makes no sense to me.

I tried to get creative for some stuff because it felt like I was being too repetitive (both within the fic itself and in terms of my other fics), and I thought it was fun to put a lil spin on the mutual masturbation idea where he's got superpowers and can basically invade your privacy, forgoing the need to actually touch you or be near you to see you at your most vulnerable. it is so hot to me and there's like, canon implications in the show that he does that already. not to a level as pervy as what I had him do but he is a nosey ass bitch even if he can't control it

AND YEAH I was soooo nervous cause I hate giving the reader a personality. it sounds dumb but I hate making the reader feel a certain way/do certain things because the more I drill something in, the more alienated the actual reader of the fic becomes. I had the idea that I'll turn someone off by having them do something, but I can't please everybody unfortunately

AND YEAH I NEED TO WRITE MORE FEET STUFF. specifically with matt cause his dogs are out sm in the show and he's got dress shoes and combat boots for his superhero suit that I WILL be smelling! I do agree that sometimes it's boring af to see someone suck dick (something they've supposedly never done before yet they're a pro at it and can handle the person being rough...) and then get fucked. like, obviously, breaking the ice is natural but having the reader suck his toes instead made me feel like a big brained genius. although, I wish I would've stayed on the foot stuff longer, I need to write more for his feet...

AND MHMHM I was trying to channel his darker, more confident side because there are so many times where he teases people in that way and I think it's so hot that your hole will at least be sore from the girth, even if he isn't fucking you super hard. plus, him trying to use it as a way to ease us into sex had me melting WHILE I was writing it. like "it's just a fact. you love me? get used to that being something you have to put up with" like god yesss gimme that monster cawk

This chapter is basically ship war. Sumire questioning salad for hugging boruto as she knew sumire feelings for boruto. More like salad getting scolded to not touch boruto and stop interfering in his decision.

I mean in both manga and anime sumire is different, like in anime sumire is shy over her feelings for boruto like hinata was but in manga she outright told salad about her feeling in ch19 and like she's not shy to catfight for boruto?even boruto sd shows sumire not shying away for liking boruto in front of salad and she takes salad as rival.

Even if bsu gonna be canon, then it's going to be so different than nh and mk pattern and it's really gonna be refreshing seeing sumire being the possesive one in this ship dynamic. Bsu ship keeps getting intresting ngl.

Yeah the anime team really screwed up adapting the manga like serious if that isn't ship bias I don't know what is they out right removed Sumire's confession in the anime for no reason. Its NaruSaku filler all over again.

The anime did good when it came to Sumire's arc in the anime, but its like once they realised there was a ship sailing in the manga they did a 180 towards their attitude with her.

Yeah BoruSumi is both similar, but also new takes from NaruHina and MinaKushi. It has what we love from the other ships and new elements to make it fresh and their own ship.

Welcome to KHAOS. KHAOS is a criminal organization composed of people with magical abilities. The main idea is that 2-4 people are assigned to one person with a bounty on their head, and the first one to kill them receives money. Their enemy is a group called PURITY. Purity is basically the same as KHAOS, except they only hunt down those affiliated KHAOS and don't kill them.

Hunter — He/him. 11th-30th place in the organization. He is a former member of PURITY and turned to KHAOS. He has the ability to manipulate blood. Additionally, he has an arm covered in shadows he can use.[Text said by him will be red.]

Its weird that despite the plantars being presented as annes first true friends, they can be rather toxic to her at times

I mean, are we just gonna ignore children of the spores? Hop pop brainwashed his grandkids! For a model boat! But since he’s supposed to be annes healthy friendship, the show just sweeps it under the rug.

And then there’s season 3a, where the plantars reduce anne to their babysitter, dump all of the work getting them back home, and act like sociopaths by goofy off, not caring that all of their friends are in danger. If sasha and marcy did this, it would be seen as toxic, but since its the plantars, its fine.

This is why i vastly prefer the trios relationship. Because at least they’re meant to be toxic, and work through there issues. The plantars just get excused for there bad behavior, simply because the show needs them to be “annes first true friends”

Its been so long for me and Amphibia that I forgot about 'Children Of The Spores' existence, but after looking up the episode to refresh my memory...dear god, is a summary of my feelings. It truly earns a spot on a list I call, 'episodes where the adults act shitty to the kids but its waved away somehow cause the kids misbehaved', because look, are the kids annoying in this episode? Yeah, a little. But uh, to straight up knowingly brainwash them so they do as Hop Pop says just so he can work on a model boat??? What the fuck??? Somehow out-doing Abuela from Cassagrandes here with bad adult figure moments. And don't get me started on Season 3A, that filler filled mess basically stalled for as long as it could and as a result, messed up the Planter's writing and made them into kids in need of babysitting that stress Anne out at times.

I mean, Sasha may at least stand a better chance if she did do some of this shit to Anne, because S3B Anne just, forgives Sasha out of nowhere basically and acts chill with her, but if it was Marcy, yeah she'd be damned, given how Anne and Sasha still talk about her even when going to rescue her. Honestly ngl, I always assumed show went about the Planters being Anne's found family then first true friends, but either way, show definitely ignored they also had issues with how they treated Anne at times.

1. Songbird

ngl one of my favorite names ive ever come up with. he's called this bc it was what his (dead) boyfriend used to call him and then when he decided to cut out his own eyes due to being haunted by visions of said boyfriend the scars made the rough shape of a bird. he's embraced the name now and uses his shadow-related abilities to make his own shadow that of a songbird. :)

2. Crook

what can i say? he's a silly goblin that commits crimes. of course he goes by crook.

3. Red

it's a basic name, but i love it. he's the first character that ever got a name and it's not his real name (his real name is at the BOTTOM of this list i hate it) and it's literally just based on the color of his blood lmao. i also like it because it's what everyone calls him just out of instinct. he didn't come up with it, it's just who he is.

4. Ruby

red's sister. her name makes them both sound silly no matter which of his names you refer to him as and i think that's neat.

5. Myrmecobius

i made up fake constellations and then named a big scary bounty hunter after one of them. what more could you want? (bonus points bc his bf (red) loves the stars)

6. Alitta/Indri/Coturnix/Fregata

all of these guys are tied. similar to myr, they're all named after fake constellations and i loved making up the constellations and assigning them meanings that match the character personalities

7. Audrey

the other only character that goes by her real name. it's just a cute name and it suits her! :)

8. Honey

this was a filler name for the longest time and it, unfortunately, stuck. i do really like using pet names as proper names though.

9. Cinnamon

same thing. filler name that unfortunately stuck around. but at least she's friends with honey and they can be Baked Goods together

10. Jayd

red's real name. ew. i hate it. but he came with it and i can't change it

So basically, A TikToker was doing an angel tree gift kid and ordered online and I was, in a nicer way, like thank fuck someone used the internet to get all the kid wanted instead of just going 'I couldn't find it so they don't get that item that they specifically needed like a coat' and she replied with basically 'Oh at least they tried, we should just be encouraging ppl to care, its the thought that counts blah blah' NOT ITS NOT, Its fucking not! and I can tell you cos I know! I hated pink as a kid but because I was a girl, I always got the girls stockings when I needed them (I'm from the UK/we never got enough help to get onto custom lists like that) and it was all pink glittery shit and skin care stuff. The year I got a box from my school, ppl that knew me? Still pink girly shit and products I can't use, It ruined my Christmas each fucking year because I hated all that shit and thought about the other girls who didn't get one but would have loved it! Making me more sad and I'd just have to donate almost all my stocking fillers to a different place. We eventually stopped using services like that because we decided it wasn't working at all for us so just went to the food places when we needed help. I just wanted the cheap plastic cars and maybe some glue sticks and my teachers and classmates knew that, even a pink car would have been nice! My favourite child toys were a purple Barbie car and a pink thunderbirds car, you can combo girly with my interests as a kid but no one ever did, I was more excited about having the canned foods and trying new brands I'd never seen before. Also I never got a jumper in a single one? All these American kids getting coats, It was only last year that i had a stocking with a hat and gloves like damm. Anyway-

It's like when ppl said we as a society need to stop getting art kids the cheap shitty art sets that will dry out and snap in a week, that's not a thought that counts, they're gonna have ONE good day then have a break down over how they think they did something wrong to the kit when actually it was just a shitty gift. Like yes, if this is a 4 year old maybe get them that horrible thing to test the waters so you can find out what they like but art kids still get them into their 20s! If your kid is older than 4, they will have a preference in art medium. Get the kid that paints some nice paints, better if you know what type they like but even paint they don't like is still better than that shit. Get the drawing kid, wait for it, pencils! Whoa! So new! Care about your fucking kid. They can always tell.

Angel trees this year have been pissing me off because, okay so this one TikToker picked a little boy asked for Bluey stuff and she got him really cool bluey stuff because it was very clear that he'd like that because the note said that. TVL & VC Thoughts: Storyboarding

Because I have insomnia, I was up all night thinking about the rumors that Sam's contract was signed for 5 seasons. It makes me both nervous and hopeful, cuz Lestat features in way more than just 5 VC books. So if there's only 5 seasons locked in (hopefully NOT counting IWTV being split into 2, meaning Sam only has 3 other seasons), I'm wondering what these 3-ish other seasons would cover? 🤔 Hour-long episodes are enough to condense SOME of the books into 7/8-ep seasons, but not others.

TVL & QotD are ofc the bigguns, that COULD be condensed into one season, but SHOULD get their own individual ones, IMO.

ToTBT - urgh. I already said I hate this book. NGL I hope they condense this into 2 episodes MAX, as filler. Raglan was basically a monster-of-the-week. We do NOT need to be sitting here watching Lestat re-learn how to poop & pee. And ffs get rid of David, he literally just got in the way; let that dude retire! Having Ciprien come back'd be a cool feature/crossover, but I really don't need Lestat out here traumatizing more black people, thanks. 😒

MTD - yoooo.... What do you even DO with this? XD Like, I can't imagine having a whole frikkin season of Lestat's Inferno, but without Memnoch you lose ALL context behind Lestat's coma, his missing eyeball, Armand's suicide attempt, Louis' suicide attempt, and Lestat's course correction as a character. 😈 It was the fallout post-Memnoch that is so important to Lestat's story; but TBH I can honestly see the bulk of MTD itself condensed into 2 filler episodes tops.

Merrick - IMO this needs to be integrated into IWTV2 as part of Louis' storyline, not Lestat's. Even though it's here that he (officially) wakes from the coma (post-TVA--which IMO deserves its own spinoff season; we need more Assad if they don't cover Armand's backstory in IWTV2).

Blackwood Farm - NGL I want a whole dang season of BwF. 😅 IMO it's the craziest VC book, we NEED to see these people on screen. We'd get that Merrick Mayfair feature, too--but if they do her dirty here like AR, Imma be FURIOUS.

Blood Canticle - 💩 TRASH!!!!! 💩

Prince Lestat & RoA & BC: TBH I think these should all be merged into one season, as they all deal with Rhoshamandes. If QotD sets up Amel early, AND includes MEKARE, then PL should get right to the action. RoA was padded with a LOT of straight descriptions, which can EASILY be condensed on screen with visuals--that's the book that needed to be illustrated! RoA really doesn't need its own season; we just need to see Rhosh established as the Big Bad in PL & RoA, and get Amel's backstory. (I HOPE they'll keep the aliens in, but AR was obviously using bird-feathered/winged extraterrestrials as the secular answer to Christianity's angels, so I'm fine either way. I'll be sad if they cut them all out entirely and Amel's JUST a (human) ghost). As for BC, it wasn't a long book at all; it just had a lot of BIG, iconic moments. I DEMAND to see Chateau Era Loustat domestic tooth-rotting fluff on my effing screen, ISTG. 🙏 This is the series finale--it deserves to give Loustat E V E R Y T H I N G; from the lowest lows to the greatest highs. I need Prince Consort Louis bossed up. 🤴🏾 I need Lestat having a mental breakdown just like Louis did when Daniel was tearing him to shreds in Ep7. I need Armand screaming, crying, throwing up. I need the WEDDING(S). I need the BALLROOM. I will sue.

Ship: My OTP is Nagato/Yahiko/Konan, though I am also cool with just Nagato/Yahiko or Yahiko/Konan. I'd also consider reading Yahiko/Sakura (if it was time travel or something,) Yahiko/Reader, or Yahiko/OC, but I haven't read any of those yet.

BroTP: Nagato, Konan, and the rest of the original Akatsuki. Also, Jiraiya as a father figures in AUs (don’t know what was with the typo earlier) where he takes the Ame Orphans to Konoha and/or they wind up going to Konoha at some point

NoTP: Yahiko/Jiraiya, Yahiko/Hanzo, Yahiko/Zetsu

General Headcanon: Yahiko taught himself (or learned from someone else) how to do basic repairs for whenever something in the Akatsuki base broke. I also headcanon that he was the best at taijutu of the three Ame Orphans, and maybe that Jiraiya taught him how to use a tanto blade. We see him with a sword when he was older, but a tanto would be a good starting blade since Yahoo was young when Jiraiya trained him.

Opinion Overall: He is my baby boy, my beloved, and I am hugging him tightly. In all honesty, I can definitely see why Nagato and Konan became so close to him. They worked together to steal stuff to survive, they probably saved each other multiple times over, they trined together, and they all had a common goal. In some ways, he's a bit of what they need: an extrovert to help get his introverted friends interacting with others, especially the shy Nagato.

In some ways, he kind of reminds me of Naruto in terms of personality, but not as heavily… Naruto-like as Naruto himself. He's got a nice mix of a goofy side (at least in fillers,) but with a serious determination and charm that helps bring him allies to fight for him. NGL, I want more Ame Orphan/Yahiko's Akatsuki content.

He and his friends did not deserve what happened to them, with Yahiko being forced to chose between his life and his friend's life, and all of the trauma that came as a result. I want to hug all of them.
