another thing with spoiler talk is that it is often exclusive to just these #shocking big deaths for some reason. and i dont even think those things are the most “harmful” spoilers. the thing w asoiaf for example is how significant the utilization of pov structure is. like the whole series is built on key moments of recontextualization. we are deliberately given just a small chunk of information from the lens of a specific pov or side and the way a lot of the themes are conveyed is the challenging of that. like there is so much meaning in structuring so i am so glad people are way more focused on “googoo gaga this mc dies” kind of spoilers and a lot of the key directions the series chose to take and how remain relatively unspoiled because no one is really oversaturating those moments. like i love not getting certain key info revealed until it should be as it would completely recontextualize scenes and characters etc. i love having preconceived notions and those being challenged. because that was very much george’s intention and it is sometimes a key part of his characterization or framing or whatever

I hate that I kind of agree about the show Ned/Jaime duel being better than the book one. It is a lot more dynamic. And I like that there are more scenes of Ned and Jaime speaking to each other, you always feel like they could almost understand each other but the walls are up too high.
Saaaame, I think it's partly the benefit of the medium - GRRM has a mammoth job establishing his world in AGOT but the show can cover a lot of that with visuals alone, leaving more room for interactions like this, as well as general POV hopping.
Also this is a little bit tinfoil-y but I am like... 90% sure the duel in KL is GRRM trying to rewrite his own scene. As in he didn't write the episode, but explained the differences he wanted incorporated to the writers. The reason I think that is for a couple reasons:
1) It's always felt quite OOC to me that the scene in AGOT ends with Jaime just abandoning the scene and leaving the mess to his men. He's a confrontational guy at the best of times who is currently on a reckless rampage; he also prides himself on his skill with the sword and is lowkey obsessed with Ned's opinion. Also, this entire confrontation is over his brother, of whom he is fiercely protective. So Jaime wouldn't leave this mess to his men imo, he'd have fought Ned himself, and I think the scene would've played out differently if GRRM were to write it knowing exactly how he'd be developing Jaime as a character in future books. I.e., I think he'd write it as it goes in the show, written over a decade after he wrote AGOT: Jaime engages Ned in a duel himself.
2) And there's a tiny parallel in the show scene that I'm completely obsessed with but it's in the goddamn show so I can't integrate it into any of my usual Jaime posts BUT I'm so sure it's GRRM's doing. So that bit where in the midst of their fight, one of Jaime's men suddenly stabs Ned from behind, and rather than take the opportunity to finish the job Jaime angrily punches the guy and orders Ned taken alive.... that has got to be meant as a parallel to the fight between Ned and Arthur Dayne (which I believe based on what we have in the books so far will play out as it does in the show). In the show's flashback to the scene, Ned's fighting Arthur (and again, this is specifically over the imprisonment of a sibling), is like to lose, but Howland Reed stabs him from behind, after which Ned (who seems unhappy at this), finishes the job.
So I don't think Ned is wrong for taking the opportunity given what's at stake, but I think the point of this moment in the books will be to show Ned in a more fallible moment - in his memories, the whole scene is painted with regret, because Ned, I'm sure, feels this was a dishonourable way to end their duel.
Hoooowever, in the show version of the KL duel, Jaime doesn't take the same opportunity when presented to him. The circumstances are a little different, but I think in ASOIAF GRRM is often posing the question, how different are Ned and Jaime? What might they actually agree upon if they ever fuckin sat down and spoke??
And of course the KL scene in the show is also meant to be an early sign of the principles Jaime does have - it's the first little curveball we're thrown.
So I don't think this parallel is D&D's doing - they may not have known the details of Ned and Arthur's duel at that point, and if they did I don't think they'd have had either the foresight (or interest in Jaime's character) to sneak that little parallel in there. They clearly didn't care to set up the character of Arthur, nor Howland Reed, to make that flashback more poignant when it arrived, so ultimately it didn't mean much in the context of the show. Therefore, I'm sure they weren't thinking ahead to it in S1.
So I believe it's a direction from GRRM until proven otherwise!!!!

Whoops I meant to send this with the other ask but somehow it sent while I was typing and didn't even notice. Anyways now that the who Jon sequel news has calmed down, what are your thoughts on it? And theories? Things/ships you do or don't want to see? Will you be watching gonna wait for other people's reaction first?
To tell you the truth...I honestly don't give a fuck? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I was pretty disappointed by the last season of Game of Thrones, so it's pretty hard to get excited about any new GoT content from HBO tbh. I do appreciate that it was Kit's idea and he brought in his own writing team that GRRM seems to be happy with.
It turns out I do actually give some fucks, so here's a 'read more' cut.
I would like to see Jon actually working through and coming to terms with the fact that he's not Ned's son and that he's not a bastard. Both of those things are central to his identity and finding out neither of them are true would realistically fuck him up for a while. I would also like for him to deal with some guilt in relation to Da3nerys (why did he keep making excuses for her, why did it take so long for him to stop her?) I don't have enough faith in D&D as writers to believe they intended him to be anything but ✨blinded by love✨ but Jon coming to terms with being a male victim of abuse/coercion would be interesting. Maybe some flashbacks fleshing out that relationship and giving them some actual chemistry and then have Jon slowly realize that he is in way over his head and in a dangerous situation that he can't fight his way out of without endangering everyone he knows and loves.
I have read that Gwendoline Christie is open to reprising her role, so I would be happy to see Brienne of Tarth again. I want Tormund back too. I didn't actually ship Brienne and Tormund during the show's run, but I'd be interested to see what they do with that ship now that Jaime is dead. I'd love for Tormund to realize he was being creepy and set up Brienne and Tormund to be friends first. But I'm probably too far in the weeds since Brienne is part of the Kingsguard and unlikely to return North soon.
I kind of fucking hated Arya running off to be an explorer since her inability to shed her Stark identity and ties to the North was such a big part of her character, and I'd love for her to (gracefully) get over that and COME HOME. Nymeria too. FUCK IT. SPEND THE ENTIRE BUDGET ON DIREWOLF CGI, WE DESERVE IT. Also, if Arya somehow gets back with Gendry, that would be pretty neat. I like the idea of them actually getting to know each other again before immediately jumping into bed.
I would also, of course, love to see Jonsa be a thing, but I'm not sure how they would make it happen. It would have to be period drama Yearning™ with a capital Y. There needs to be long looks and a new Hand Flex to make gifs of alongside Mr. Darcy's hand flex and Kate and Anthony from Bridgerton reaching for each other.
As for stuff I don't want to see...I don't give a fuck about Tyrion Lannister or Bronn or really anyone south of the Neck except Brienne, and if I see them, I will roll my eyes so hard that they pop out of my sockets.
I think I'll watch it if I can make my sister watch it with me. If not, then I might just piece together the story through gifs on tumblr.

Born To Be Yours | Part I
Sansa Stark x Fem! Baratheon! Reader (Daenerys Targaryen x Fem! Baratheon! Reader eventually)
Season 1-8
Word Count: 1,494
Note: It’s been a while now since I wanted to post this, I had this idea for around two months, I really hope you enjoy reading it as I enjoy writing it, I’ll might take some time to finish it but have for sure that I’m not leaving this series behind, it’ll end with season 8. I changed a few things, so it’s canon and au. Let me know if you like it!
Pt.2 Pt.3 Pt.4 Pt.5 Pt.6 Pt.7 Pt.8 Pt.9
Tumblr media
You arrived at Winterfell, all the way here Joffrey was complaining, your little siblings were excited to see the North for the first time and you were too.
“I hope this northerner bitch is worth the cold.” Joffrey shivered.
“You shouldn’t talk that way of your future queen, brother.”
“None of your business Y/N, besides you could find here your true love, that bullshit you always dreamt about.” He mocked and you rolled your eyes.
“Perhaps I will.”
You were riding your horses and spotted the castle in front of you, the cold weather on your skin, does a coat really help? You entered by the gates and recognised the Stark family, a little boy beside her mother, the lord and lady, the eldest son, a tall redhead girl, a tiny girl who had a smirk on her face and another kid by her side. They seemed very close to each other, you hoped you have that. Your family was all scattered, your mother cared for you, obviously, you were her daughter but despite that it always felt like she put you beneath the rest of your siblings, your father was the one who taught you how to use a sword and a bow, he was more fond of you, Joffrey hated you, Myrcella and Tommen both loved you so much, uncle Jaime also gave you lessons with the sword fighting, he wasn’t so cold to you, uncle Tyrion adored you, he always give you lessons you will use when you grow up, and your grandfather... he didn’t exactly despise you.
“Winterfell is yours”. Lord Stark said to your father.
“Y/N, see that handsome boy?!” Your sister muttered excitedly, looking upon the one called Robb. “Someday I want to marry a man like him.”
“Oh my dear Myrcella, you will find a man that deserves you, I promise.”
“You should pick him, he seems to be a gentlemen, wouldn’t that be nice?” You just chuckled.
You were on your room unpacking your stuff, you’ve always been the kind that likes to do things herself, your handmaidens just helped you when you asked them or when you were with your family so they don’t tell you you are a princess and everyone is at your service, but that make you feel useless. There was a feast in the night, you prepared and go with everyone.
You sat beside your brother, he was a pain in the ass, but you’ve always behaved in these events, you’ve always been so proper compared to him.
“Enjoying the evening?” He didn’t listen, then you noticed he was staring at the oldest Stark girl. She is quite beautiful to be honest. Her hair was stunning, just like fire. She was staring at him too with a grin. Suddenly the little one threw a piece of cake on her cheek and you couldn’t help but laugh.
“Arya!” She screamed.
Truth be told, a lot of lords from all Westeros tried already to wed you to his sons, your excuse was “I’m still young, I don’t want to get compromised so soon” or “I don’t think he is the one” and you were grateful that your mother didn't pressure you into it. You knew having preferences for women didn’t go well, you didn’t really care, as long as it’s someone you can trust and love there shouldn’t be any problem, just a few people thought like you.
Your mother and Lady Stark were having a conversation, soon you became the main topic.
“So, Princess Y/N is not betrothed to anyone yet?”
“She’s on age, but I’ll make her a match with someone of our status.” Cersei was serious and Lady Catelyn just agreed. “My love, come over here.”
“It’s a pleasure to meet you, Lady Stark, thank you for your hospitality, your home is a lovely place.”
“You have a very well mannered daughter, your grace.”
“Indeed.” Your mother said proudly.
You excused yourself and went outside where uncle Tyrion was speaking with a lad.
“There’s my favourite niece.” He held a globet on his hand, the boy raised his head to peer at you. “This is Jon Snow, Lord Stark’s bastard.”
“Oh well, nice to meet you, Jon.” He was handsome you give him that.
“Likewise, princess.” He made a curtesy.
“Why are you not inside?”
“I don’t fit it.” He shrugged.
“I believe you are a good man, Snow, you should prove them wrong.”
The next morning you wake up with the news about one of the Stark boys fell from the tower, Bran was his name, you’ve heard he was a very good climber but didn’t want to listen about how dangerous it was. Hopefully he’ll recover the conscience, even if there are more consequences, you had a hunch it wasn’t an accident but who would want to hurt the little lord?
“What a tragedy.” Tyrion nodded slowly.
“Is he going to be okay?” Tommen asked and you couldn’t tell, only the Gods know.
“It was a long fall, my little lion, let’s pray.” Your mother answered with a suspicious and uncertain tone in her voice.
Before you left, Robb came to offer you a quick walk that you gladly accepted. You were holding on to his arm.
“My princess, I’ve heard only good things about yourself, you truly are one of a kind.”
“Oh my Lord, sadly we couldn’t speak much, get to know each other better.” He turned to face you.
“Maybe one day, when our paths cross again I hope.” You smiled.
“Farewell, Princess Y/N, safe travel.” Jon approached next to your horse.
“Farewell, Jon Snow, good luck on the Night’s Watch.”
Soon you were heading back to King’s Landing with Lord Stark as the new hand of the King, Arya and Sansa. You really wanted to get close to the girls, have a friendship with them.
You were practising with sticks next to a river, the little Stark and the butcher’s son were fighting one other, you saw Joffrey approached with Sansa.
“What do we have here?”
“None of for business, brother, go away.” You looked at Sansa who was frighten.
“A butcher’s boy who wants to be a knight.” Joffrey put out his sword and cut the boy’s cheek. “And you are hitting both my lady’s sister and my own, who is a princess.” Arya strike him and a direwolf came from nowhere biting your brother’s wrist.
“Please, let him go.” You entreat and she and the wolf ran away. “Are you okay, crybaby?” He just sniffed with terror in his eyes.
“Bring help!” He yelled, Sansa went off running while you stayed with him. “That’s what happens when you try to be bold, you’re not.”
Later you all were inside and started to argue about the truth of the earlier situation.
“That’s not what happened!”
“Yes, it is.”
Your mother had a evil look on her face. “Sansa come here darling.”
After the lies she told, you weren’t sure why she was defending him, you finally got your chance to speak.
“I was there too, remember? We were just playing around, after your son tried to hit Arya and insulted her.” Your father knew you were telling the truth.
“Y/N is no liar, it’s done.”
“What about the beast that attacked him? That one might have escaped but there’s another.” Your mother wrapped Joffrey’s arm and glare furiously at you.
“No! That’s an innocent animal, you won’t hurt them, mother please.” You begged but didn’t seem to change her mind nor your brother’s. Sansa was already crying and also begging her father to stop it. “Please no Lady, she didn’t bite anyone.” Your intents were useless when Lord Eddard was about to finish this matter. You were so mad, to see how far they always go to show they are better.
“Let the wolf go, she won’t stay with Lady Sansa, at least let it live.” You implored hoping your father would accept.
“Deal.” Was all he said before leaving the room.
Once you arrived to the capital, you went to check on the Stark girls.
“Do you need anything?” You asked sounding the most polite you could.
“We’re fine, thank you.” The redhead answered first with annoyance in her tone. Their Septa scolded her. “Don’t be rude with your princess, Sansa, she’s being gentle.” “Forgive her, princess Y/N.” You nodded.
“It’s quite alright, I don’t think we’ve been introduced before, my lady, I’m Y/N Baratheon as you already know but when we are alone you can call me Y/N.” You said with a light smile.
“I’m sorry, princess Y/N, I’m still sad because of Lady.”
“I wished I could have done more.” Arya putted a hand on your shoulder.
“You are nothing like your family, I can tell, I like you.”
“And I like you, little lady, I’m sorry about your friend too.” Ned sat and you stand up to take your leave.

Corruption of Innocence (1/?)
Prompt: The Capital was cruel. The people there even more so. If this arrangement truly was meant to follow through, Jaime knew you would be corrupted by Kings Landing. But staring at you now, with bright doe eyes and a soft smile on your lips as you engaged in a conversation with your brother, hushed so as not to be disrespectful, Jaime knew he would put all his focus and strength into making sure that never happened.
A/N: HERE IT IS!! THE FIRST PART OF MY GOT (sorta) REWRITE! PLEASE let me know what you thought, if you’d like another part and if you’d like to be tagged for future parts. I really have a lot planned for this series, but I won’t be encouraged to write if no one gives any feedback. This part also had very little Jaime/Y/N interaction, but you know me and my series ;) I like to develop relationships between the reader and someone else, other than just who she’s paired with!
Send me a little comment in the ask section or leave it below on what you thought of this chapter. As usual, I hope you all enjoyed!
AGAIN, remember if you’d like me to continue this series, just leave a little comment or an ask letting me know. I will NOT continue the series if no one wants me to.
Please don’t plagiarize my work - I spend a lot of my time writing, copying and pasting destroys that. If you want to repost my work. please ask first - but even then I might say no.
Pairing: Jaime x Stark!Reader
Based off of: Game of Thrones 01x01

Your reflection stares back at you, the frown on your lips evident. Your eyes trace the linings of your face, the intricate braids upon your head that cascade downwards into long H/C waves. The dark brown of your dressed line with small designs crafted by someone with a careful hand. It’s tight around your chest, cinched at the waist before it puffs out and flows around your legs.
You hate the reflection that stares back at you. The future that awaits you.
The news of the King’s visit to Winterfell traveled fast, and instantly, preparations began. Food, drinks and rooms were prepared for your guests while you and all your other siblings were dolled up in appearances for the royal family. Jon Arryn had died, you’d heard, and now King Robert was travelling to Winterfell, where your father was warden of the North and Lord of Winterfell.
It could only truly mean one thing. He wished for father to become his hand.
But the letter that had arrived from Kings Landing at hinted to more than just that. There was the proposed idea of the King’s son, Joffrey, marrying your younger sister, Sansa, to conjoin both house Stark and Baratheon. She’d been told of the news, or at least hinted towards it, and the smile on her face had been contagious. Every girl her age, some even older or younger, wanted to gain the attention of the Prince and you knew it made Sansa feel special that she might be that girl.
However, a marriage proposed for you had also been suggested. More demanded than suggested like Sansa’s and your heart had nearly plummeted to the pit of your stomach when you heard of who you were meant to be wedded off to. Jaime Lannister, the Queen’s twin brother, who was also nicknamed Kingslayer. Maybe it was his nickname, maybe it was the clear distaste in your father’s voice as he said his name, or maybe it was simply the fact that the man was much older than you were that made you dread your future with the man. You were only seventeen and the idea of marrying a man nearly double your age both confused and frightened you.
But when it came to the King, you didn’t have much of a choice.
You weren’t excited for the King’s arrival like your younger siblings. Instead, you dreaded it. That’s why you were hid in your room, simply staring back at your own reflection, lost in your thoughts.
A small nudge to your thigh pulls you from your thoughts however. Your gaze lowers, chin tucking in as your eyes fall on that of your dire-wolf, Antheia. A faint smile falls on your lips as your hand rises, gently falling on top of her fury head, scratching the dark brown and white fur. You remember when Robb, Bran, Jon and father had arrived home with seven pups. Six for each of the Stark children and a pure white one just for Jon.
When Robb had delivered your pup to you, he’d said he’d specifically chosen it for you. You’d scoffed at his words, rolling your eyes at your twin brother but he’d professed the story to be true, going on and on about how he knew that that dire-wolf was just the one for you. Eventually, you’d gone along with it. Because who knew, maybe it was true.
You’d instantly grown attached to the little pup, and even now, just a little while later, she was much larger then she’d been when you first got her. She was fiercely loyal to you, and you loved the way she followed you around everywhere. A constant friend by your side.
With a whine, Antheia turns to your door, causing your brows to furrow. She paws at the door gently while you watch on in confusion, until you hear the faintest sound of footsteps and a knock resounds on your door. You smile slightly at her keen senses, pushing yourself up to your feet. “Come in,” you call, making your way towards the door.
You expect it to be mother, probably to chastise you on hiding in your room and leaving it to the last second to arrive outside. But, as the door opens, it isn’t your mothers face that you see staring back at you, and rather Robb’s as he pokes his head in, a grin on his lips.
You roll your eyes at him; “mother tell you to come find me, didn’t she?”
“Of course she did,” Robb laughs, stepping into your room. “You really decided to push it to the last second, haven’t you?”
Shrugging your shoulders, you glance back at your vanity before grabbing your cloak off of the chair. As you wrap it around your shoulders, tying it off at the neck, you continue to speak. “She’s stressed,” you sigh, “and when she’s stressed, she places all responsibility on my shoulders. Can you blame me for hiding from her?”
Robb steps back, letting you walk past him out your bedroom, Antheia following closely behind, before falling in line next to you. “No,” he says earnestly, nodding your way. “Because father does the same with me.”
“It sucks being the oldest.”
“Can’t disagree with you on that one.”
The two of you share a laugh, falling in step with one another as you make your way through the halls of your home and outdoors to the courtyard. Along the way, your eyes fully catch sight of Robb’s appearance and you let a small smirk fall on your lips. “I see mother made sure you looked all prim and proper for the Queen.”
“All of us,” Robb shrugs, scratching at his cheek absentmindedly. “Jon wasn’t too happy to have his hair messed with.”
You let out a giggle, rolling your eyes. “He’s more picky with his hair than I am.”
Just as you finish speaking, the two of you reach the courtyard. Instantly, and before Robb can reply, you’re both hurdled forward by your mother. She sends you a narrowed look along the way and you smile faintly, eyes pleading in apology. As Robb falls to his spot next to father, mother only shakes her head at you, her grip softening to a comforting touch before ushering you forward. Without fault, you fall in your spot next to Robb, beside Sansa.
“Where’s Arya?”
Turning your gaze from the gates, you turn towards your mother, catching the worried look in her eyes. It’s then you notice the absence of Arya on the other side of Sansa.
“Sansa,” mother calls, voice sharp. “Where’s your sister?”
She simply shrugs in response.
Just then, little Arya comes running by. Before she can make it to her spot, she’s stopped by father, pulling her back in front of him. “Hey, hey, hey, hey,” he calls, “what are you doing with that on?” You smile softly at the sight of her little head swarmed by the large helmet on top of it, one of which father hastily pulls off, shaking his head at his youngest daughter. “Go on.”
She groans in response, eyes narrowed, but as she catches your gaze, you send her a small wink. It immediately causes a grin to fall on her lips, skipping over to her spot.
And just like that, the first horse rides through the gates. The first few guards are soon followed by Joffrey, the King’s son, who lets his eyes wander across the people before landing on your sisters. You bite your lip at the sight of her cheeks warming and her small, but rather giddy smile that instantly erupts upon her face. When you turn back to Robb, he seems just as displeased, if not more so.
A carriage arrives soon after, followed by the King himself. You barely pay mind to the King, your eyes too focused on finding your soon to be husband. You know very little about him, except of his golden locks and looks that you’ve heard plenty of girls, including your own handmaidens, rave on about.
You have to bow before you can get a very good look, the King slowing to a stop on his horse before crawling off of it’s back with the help of his servants. When the King finally falls to a stop in front of your father, three twitches of his fingers signals you all to arise, and following your father’s lead, you easily do so.
“Your Grace,” father greets, bowing his head.
There’s a moment of stilled silence as the King lets his eyes wander across your father’s figure as he pleases, before resettling on his gaze. Bluntly, he states; “you’ve got fat.” And it takes you by surprise, blinking as you have to desperately fight back a laugh. It wouldn’t do well to laugh.
With a twitch of his brows and slight tilt downwards, your father raises a brow. To which the both of them let out a loud laugh, embracing one another. When the King pulls back, he turns to your mother with a bright grin, move to hug her as well. “Cat!” He exclaims, to which your mother greets him respectively in return.
He ruffles Rickon’s hair before turning back to Ned. “Nine years,” he sighs, “why haven’t I seen you? Where the hell have you been?”
“Guarding the North for you, your Grace. Winterfell is yours.”
You frown as your attention is caught by the Queen, stepping out of her carriage and her narrowed, wandering eyes judge your home. Instantly, you feel distaste flood you at the sight of her.
“Who have we here?” Blinking, you turn to find the King stood in front of your brother. “You must be Robb.”
With eagerness to impress both the King and his father, Robb takes the King’s hand in his own, shaking it firmly. An instant flood of nerves floods you when the King’s eyes land on you. You’re not sure what you’d expected him to say or do, but silence certainly hadn’t been it. The moment the King’s eyes land on your own, he all but freezes, eyes stuck on the figure of you.
You shuffle slightly, uncomfortable under the mans heavy gaze as you glance over at Robb nervously. He seems just as confused.
“She takes after her aunt,” your father speaks up, pulling your eyes on him as he keeps his gaze on that of the King, nodding. “In both looks and spirit.”
“Aye,” the King mumbles, voice soft as his eyes trail across your own. “You certainly do.”
He’s moving on to your sister before you can say anything in return. You find yourself stunned with silence, blinking. Your fathers comment and the King’s reaction takes you by surprise and an uncomfortable feeling swallows you completely.
-
Jaime sees you before you do.
Unlike you, he’d been told of your appearance. He’d been told what to look out for after he’d practically demanded it. He had no idea why he was marrying a girl your age, nearly half his age, nor did he know why he’d been stripped of his title as part of the Kings-guard.
In the end, he hadn’t had much choice or say. The King was still the King, and no matter how much Jaime may despise it, it was out of his control.
You weren’t hard to spot. At least, not at as hard as he assumed he’d must of been. As soon as he’d rode in through the gates of Winterfell, he’d spotted you from afar, your neck stretched out desperately as your eyes wandered across the crowd. With his large golden helmet, it’s no wonder you couldn’t find him. And for a moment, he simply sat there, atop his horse, letting his eyes wander across your figure.
You were young. Even if Jaime had already known you were the young age of seventeen, to see it stare him back in the face was completely different. Your eyes were innocent, untouched by the evils of the world. Jaime felt no love in his bone as he stared at you, but he couldn’t deny this odd sense of protection that flooded him. It confused him greatly at first, baffled by the feeling, until he saw Robert approach you.
With a look you no doubt did not understand, but Jaime did, Robert had all but let his eyes wander across you openly and appreciatively. It was true, you did look startlingly like your aunt, even more so then you did your own mother. And it was that realization and thought that filled Jaime with dread, Robert’s reaction only adding fuel to the fire.
The Capital was cruel.
He would never let anything corrupt or hurt you.
That thought is only enforced when your eyes finally do manage to meet Jaime’s. You hadn’t been looking for him that time, desperate to avoid the harsh glare of his sister and upon the way, you’d found him. You instantly knew it was him by the brief description of him you’d been given. That, and the fact that Jaime had already been staring back at you.
You almost looked fearful, Jaime realized. So young that you didn’t, or rather couldn’t, truly understand the implications of what was being forced upon your shoulders. You were brave and feisty he could tell, by the way you didn’t back down. But there was still that part of you that shuffled closer to your brother, hiding behind him in just the slightest.
Jaime’s emotions were mixed, confused. He’d never felt anything of the like towards anyone else but his sister. This protective side of him could also be passed onto his family, because he would always place them first and above all others. But this... this was different.
Before he could dwell on it much longer, his sister appeared by his side.
-
“I missed you at the feast.”
“Yes, well, you know your mother.”
Biting your lip, you sigh at Jon’s words. Pushing yourself up off the wall, you collect the ends of your skirts, carefully making your way over to him. “Mother’s wrong,” you mumble, meeting your brother’s gaze steadily. “She’s always been when it comes to you.”
Jon simply frowns down at you, his shoulders falling at your words. And you stare back, hugging yourself for comfort. You’ve never understood your mother and her hatred for Jon. Part of you understood it, but at the same time, the more rational side of you, couldn’t fathom how she could hate a motherless son. Treat him like truly was no more than a Bastard.
“I heard that you are to be wed to Jaime Lannister.”
Your frown deepens at Jon’s words, gaze lowering. “That is the plan, yes.”
“I’m sure it will be okay, Y/N,” Jon whispers, in attempt to comfort you, you’re sure. But all it does is fill you with more dread. You’d hoped, during the feast the night before, you’d be able to speak with Jaime. Get to know him a little, but he’d seemed preoccupied the entire night. And when a chance had opened, he’d approached your father. A conversation, which, seemed none too pleasant.
You knew it was your duty, but the idea of marrying a man you did not know and had never spoken to... well, you just couldn’t imagine it. You wanted to marry for love and... “I don’t want to leave here,” you sigh, finally meeting Jon’s eyes. “I don’t want to leave Bran or Rickon. Robb... I don’t want to leave you. If I could stay, I would...”
A look washes over Jon’s eyes, one that causes you to forget your own troubles for a moment as you frown up at him.
“Y/N,” Jon calls, his voice hesitant. “I haven’t told anyone, but I plan to leave for the wall with Uncle Benjen.”
You blink, surprise flooding you. “Oh...”
Jon nods, scratching the back of his head. “I--”
“You don’t have to explain yourself, Jon,” you interrupt softly, smiling encouragingly up at him. “I understand. You know I do.”
With a small, weak smile, Jon nods.
“I guess we are both planning to leave then,” you add afterwards, a soft chuckle leaving your lips. “Giving up our names to a vow.”
“I’m not all that upset to forget the name, Snow.”
“You’re a Stark,” you correct softly, meeting your brothers eyes knowingly. “You know you are. You’ll always be a Stark to me.”
Once again silence falls over the two of you as Jon smiles sadly down at you. Stepping forward, his hand falls on your shoulder, giving it a soft squeeze before pressing a kiss against your forehead. Your eyes fall shut at the action, before he pulls back and you watch him walk off.
Left to yourself, you turn, staring out at the courtyard. Nothing will ever be the same again.

Alright, What About These New Promos/Photos/Putting It All Together?
*Friki leaks mentioned. Read at your own risk*
I’ll be doing this in order of the Episodes (Ep 1 as per the Friki leaks and subsequent Episodes based on my own speculation).
(This is super long and keeps getting longer the more promo photos they give us but I regret nothing!)
~Adding corrections to Ep1 as per the leaks from REDDIT in regards to the premier. I’ll keep my original thoughts and then also add the corrections underneath.
Episode 1
The episode clearly begins with Jon and Dany arriving at Winterfell - this is the “spine” of the Episode, as D&D would call it. It’s the “main event.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Obligatory shots of Sansa and Arya seeing the dragons for the first time, a child climbing something to see the soldiers marching through Wintertown as callback to Bran in Season 1. Jon and Dany arriving side-by-side, “together” as they said they would. And of course, Varys all bundled up in a wagon.
Tumblr media
Jon greets Sansa, probably hoping a hug will defuse some of the tension that is bound to be in the air with him seeing her for the first time since he bent the knee to Dany.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dany waiting with Jorah a respectful distance away while Jon reunites with his siblings.
Either before or after the Sansa hug, Jon’s got to greet Bran because Bran is seated right next to Sansa (Premier ~ Bran is apparently “cold” to Jon, stone faced, whatever, but why would we be surprised by this?):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So Sansa greets Jon and Dany, tells Dany Winterfell is hers (a custom when greeting and welcoming a royal as Ned did with Robert, not Sansa giving up the castle to Dany or some other bullshit FFS).
Tumblr media
(Look at Missandei in the background! Look at her little cloak thingy!) Anyway...
While all this is happening, Davos and Jorah stand back and watch things unfold:
Tumblr media
I’m not sure why but I like the team-up of Davos and Jorah. After seeing this photo I’m hoping we get some Davos-Jorah interactions like we got Jorah and Thoros last season. But then again, much of Jorah’s stuff seems to be alongside Dany this season so there may not be time for it.
Then somewhere in this initial greeting and Dany’s arrival in Winterfell, Bran adds fuel to the tension fire:
Tumblr media
He gives Jon and Dany the news about the Wall, the Night King, and Viserion. Dany is clearly very affected by this news because Viserion’s death was bad enough, this is so much worse. She has said several times throughout the series, “A dragon is not a slave” and now her son is an undead/unwilling/unwitting accomplice to the Night King’s plans. It’ll be a truly heartbreaking moment for Dany on a number of levels but she won’t have much time at all to process this because:
(premier~was right about Dany having 0 time to process because of the Northern Lord meeting, kudos to me)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After Bran tells them all the news, they call a meeting in the great hall with Jon, Dany, Sansa, Tyrion, and all the rest of the Northern Lords/Ladies. We know this will be a tense meeting. Tyrion says “We have to fight together now, or die” - likely this is after he has told the Northerners about Cersei promising her troops to come fight.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Apparently, by the way the leaks sound, the Northerners are much more displeased with the fact that Lannister troops are coming North than they were about Jon bending the knee and Dany being their Queen. At least, that’s how all versions of the leaks read to me.
But this makes sense though, as we’ve argued before. Dany has done nothing to these people and she’s there to help. They can see her, physically, in Winterfell, putting her money where her mouth is. Cersei on the other hand, played a direct role in harming members of the Stark family and she’s not present and neither are her troops - yet (even though we know they’re not coming at all). So it’ll be easier for the Northerner’s anger to shift to this queen they already didn’t like and who isn’t there rather than continue to direct their hate toward Dany. Again, Dany’s there, and for Northerners, actions speak louder than words.
(premier~not sure this is exactly how it will go down. I’m pretty pissed about Dany not being able to speak. I don’t think Sansa says anything during the meeting either. Just typical sexist man writing letting the men speak and the women remain silent UGH. Apparently Lyanna Mormont seems “betrayed” by Jon and the anger seems more directed at him than at Dany. This also kind of adds cred to what I’ve said above. Dany isn’t really the problem here. It’s everything surrounding the situation. By Ep2, the Northerners should be glad she’s there, they’re just salty at their former King right now and also salty about the Lannister alliance.
I have to say though, Dany sitting through this shit and listening to these salty as fuck northerners bitch and moan and her having the restraint not to go full on Dragon Queen is impressive. She’s calm. She’s not lashing out. Not telling the Northerners to deal with it and be greatful for her help. She is merely listening to them voice their complaints, as a Queen SHOULD. So TAKE THAT salty anti bitches!)
After the Northern Lord meeting, Tyrion and Sansa chat and Sansa’s concern is: Cersei. As I knew it would be. Again, she’s not really concerned about Dany. If she were, she would just flat out ask Tyrion - hey, do you think my idiot brother bent the knee because he’s getting laid, etc. But she doesn’t. She asks about what she’s been concerned about from the very beginning: Cersei. This I think will foreshadow Sansa’s arc for the season - finding out about Tyrion’s eventual betrayal and then presiding over his trial and execution at the end. All of Sophie’s talk about threats to her family, taking things away that she loves, fighting for what she loves...it all goes back to Cersei. Sophie and Maisie’s words about wanting to finish Arya’s list, Sansa wanting to help Arya finish her list, it all adds weight to this theory.
(Premier~thinking this might have some romantic undertones with Sansa’s line “I thought you were the smartest man I knew” or something like that. Really sounds like Cersei’s line to Jaime, “I always knew you were the stupidest Lannister” - both Lannister boys being condemned because they are underestimating Cersei. I don’t like it. It takes away from Sansa’s anger. It makes her anger more about Tyrion than it does about Cersei which is again, typical man writing. Make it about the man, not about the actual important thing. It’s as if Sansa is more “disappointed” in Tyrion than she is angry no one is taking Cersei as seriously as she knows they should).
Next up, according to the leaks, Jon and Arya reunite:
Tumblr media
Now, first off, Jon is obviously brooding because of the meeting with the Northern Lords. Obviously. It literally is supposed to be Jon’s last scene right before this one so I don’t believe he’s brooding for any other reason. Anyway...
According to leaks, Jon and Arya will compare swords, “stick them with the pointy end”, etc. etc. Arya will be the one to point out to Jon that Sansa doesn’t like Dany and Jon will ask for Arya’s help in getting the two to be civil toward each other.
Now, Maisie’s “thinking with his penis” comments seem to contradict this but she also says that Arya will be on Sansa’s side. So I imagine that IF it comes up, it will not be in this episode. Yes, Sansa later confronts Jon about why he bent the knee, but if there is any talk about “thinking with his penis” it will be well after.
(Premier ~ apparently Jon isn’t brooding at all, he’s just paying respects to the gods...? I suppose that makes sense since he hasn’t had access to a weirwood in months. But I never considered Jon a very devout man especially after his resurrection so this seems odd. Maybe it’s just the leaker’s interpretation).
Further South, Euron will have ferried the Golden Company to King’s Landing to meet with Cersei:
Tumblr media
And while she’s watching her fancy new army role up, Qyburn will be giving Cersei the news of the Wall falling, making Cersei even more happy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Cersei will receive Harry Strickland, LC of the Golden Company, and Euron. In this conversation, since it hasn’t been brought up really in the show, I’m guessing Harry Strickland will remind Cersei about the Golden Company never having gone back on a contract. We kind of need him to say this and remind both Cersei and the audience because to me, it’s inevitable that the GC will switch sides before the end of the War, maybe after the NK comes to KL or something.
Tumblr media
As per the leaks, Euron, after this meeting, blackmails Cersei to sleep with him. I’m hoping it’s not as rape-y as that though. I had read a “leak” (more a headcanon theorist as there was no evidence) a while back that said Euron would ask to sleep with Cersei and she would allow him to jerk off in front of her. And that to me just sounds way more them. It still has Cersei in a position of power, Euron is still a creep. But it’s much more consensual and even a little comical. So I’m really hoping we get something similar to that instead of Cersei full on having to have sex with Euron because he’s got leverage over her. But we shall see.
(Premier ~ so there is no actual sex scene but we get Euron putting on his pants after they do the deed or something like that. The way it’s framed, it’s sort of consensual - as consensual as blackmail sex can be. But I don’t think it was as if Euron held Cersei down and forced himself on her. She had a choice - give up her throne or fuck him so she fucked him. Idk, I still don’t really like it, it’s rubbing me the wrong way but it is what it is).
While Cersei and Euron are otherwise occupied though, we know from the leaks that Theon will rescue Yara in this episode:
Tumblr media
This is not Euron’s fleet because that ship in the middle is not his Silence. It’s Theon and what’s left of his Iron Born fleet.
Now, SUPER interesting - as per the leaks, once Theon rescues Yara, he supposedly asks to go to Winterfell to help them fight against the dead.
And in the new PROMO, we have someone say “This goes beyond loyalty,” and I can’t, for the life of me you guys, decide whether it’s Jaime or Theon’s voice. It seems to have a slight Northern twang to it, which Alfie does for Theon...but NCW also has a strange accent because he’s Danish so...make of it what you will. The voice that says “This is about survival” seems to be a different voice than the first.
I do however, still firmly believe that we will see Theon and Yara in Winterfell in Ep3 or 4 at the latest. But I’ll get more into that in a minute.
(Premier ~ so this goes down pretty much as simply as worded here. Theon grabs Yara pretty easily - UGH again with the sexist shit. If it was so easy for Theon to rescue her, especially given his fragile state of mind, why couldn’t Yara have escaped herself and Theon show up to like, half the boat murdered and Yara just waiting for him like “What took you so long bro?” Would have been way more satisfying. But yes, Theon tells Yara he’s going North to help - remember he saw the wight in the Dragonpit too - unclear if Yara goes with him)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
After Theon and Yara, we’re back at Winterfell with Jon, Dany, and the dragons. I think the way this scene will go is by Dany approaching Jon and adorably telling him she has a “wild idea” or something like that. Jon being Jon will be hesitant at first “I can’t believe I let you talk me into this” but will agree to do it nonetheless.
(Premier ~ I think the above pic with Jon smiling and Dany in awe will be after they’ve landed by the waterfall and he says the “We could live here for a thousand years and no one would ever find us” line. If you ask me, this is pretty fucking romantic and tropey. The way the scene is framed, Jon lands Rhaegal first and Dany and Drogon land beside them. So Jon was clearly looking for a pretty place to dick Dany down in private and so picked the most cliche place he could find - a waterfall. But waterfalls in Iceland are supposed to be fucking beautiful so it should be a really lovely setting at least).
Then, it’s dragon riding time!
Tumblr media
I don’t think Dany will fuss around with taking Jon riding on Drogon with her first. I think she’ll introduce Jon and Rhaegal, make sure Rhaegal doesn’t eat him, then Jon will climb on and they’ll fly off right then and there. It’s a short episode. They don’t have time for lengthy introductions unfortunately.
(Premier ~ yep, was right about the no fussing. Dany asks Jon if he would ever ride a dragon, he asks “How does one ride a dragon” and Dany answers “By riding it”. There’s some banter and Jon saying he could fall and die so Dany cheekily answers “Then it was nice knowing you Jon Snow.” To me, this is Dany challenging Jon, like, daring him to get on the dragon and if he did, he’d get a “reward” at the end of it - which clearly, that’s what them landing by the waterfall is all about, they go there to have sex).
Tumblr media
This is why I think Davos, Varys, and Tyrion look so astonished in the photo above. They’ve all seen the dragons before and have gotten quite used to them. So why would they be looking so surprised? Because Jon is on Rhaegal. Notice in the first photo above, the clip cuts out right before we see Rhaegal’s back - where a rider might perch. And if you mess with the colors in photoshop, that is Rhaegal, he’s green. So Jon rides him.
(Premier ~ yes, Jon rides a dragon. Was not that hard to put together. More on Davos, Varys and Tyrion in a bit!)
Tumblr media
After the dragon riding, Jon and Dany kiss passionately. I firmly believe the above image is after Jon and Dany kiss because Jon still has his hands on Dany’s waist and they look super irritated, as if they’ve been interrupted, but by what, not sure.
(Premier ~ so apparently their faces of irritation are actually directed at the dragons for watching them make out. My post “Trying to make out here, you guys fucking mind?” was on the nose. I think the scene is framed like the dragons know what mom and dad are up to and it’s supposed to be comical).
It’s unclear if Davos, Tyrion, and Varys see their kiss but the leaks say they discuss Jon and Dany, Tyrion saying something like Varys thinks of Dany differently because he doesn’t have a cock - hinting at Tyrion’s feelings for Dany. (Dark!Tyrion emerging!)
(Premier ~ so as Jon and Dany walk away (or as they walk back in afterward - unclear ) Varys and Davos ponder getting Jon and Dany together - I guess like, formal marriage alliance, though don’t know if the word “marriage” is used. But I think this is pretty silly that they didn’t know Jon and Dany were having sex on the boat for a month. Then again, Perhaps Varys and Davos were on a different boat and Tyrion was the only one on the boat with Jon and Dany...? Whatever. So the idea of making Jon and Dany a “formal” thing is brought up. My guess is this won’t be the last time either. This is probably what prompts Tyrion to say Varys thinks of her differently because he has no cock).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
One last interaction between Jon and Dany right outside the castle walls, so coming in from their dragon riding/make out sesh. Not sure what they’d be talking about here. Possibly Jon just told a really bad joke and Dany is not amused. IDK why but it totally looks like he’s smiling in that pic of the two of them!
(Premier ~ for your guys viewing pleasure, the whole Reddit comment on the Jon/Dany/dragon/sex fieldtrip:
Tumblr media
(One last note about this scene: I love Jon’s line “We could live here for a thousand years...” because it says SO MUCH. 1) he says “we” as in him and Dany so he’s been thinking about living with Dany. 2) he wants his privacy with her, wants to be away from the public eye...maybe hinting that he won’t want to press his claim against her for the throne...? 3) this could be foreshadowing of Jon and Dany’s endgame and right now, with the way the writing is going, I’m not even going to hope for more than this. I don’t care who ends up king or queen, I don’t care about Westerosi politics. Just give me Jon and Dany holed up somewhere, living in peace with their baby. This line also totally gave me “red door” vibes. Goes back to Dany’s book quote in ADWD about Daario, “In her dream they had been man and wife, simple folk who lived a simple life in a tall stone house with a red door. In her dream he had been kissing her all over—her mouth, her neck, her breasts.” It’s what Jon seemingly wants, and it’s what Dany dreams of. Let them be happy!!!)
An Arya/Hound reunion follows, followed by my second favorite ship in the entire series:
Tumblr media
Heavy flirting, flustered Arya, “M’Lady.” God, kill me now. My body is ready. Arya fucking deserves some good Gendry dick. Let our girl be young and carefree and comforted for once! I’m ready. I’m so ready.
(Premier ~ Arya apparently draws a design for a weapon for herself and Gendry starts making it for her. Totally Jaime/Brienne/Oathkeeper vibes. You love a woman, you give her a weapon. Though of course, I’m still pissed at her reunion with the Hound. Her being inexplicably angry with him...for being alive...? And him calling her a “bitch” is fucking gross. What the fuck were D&D thinking???)
A Sansa/Jon confrontation in which she asks him if he bent the knee for the North or love and Jon is likely left speechless because, as has been pointed out many times, he doesn’t have to choose between the two with Dany. He loves her and she’s going to save his people.
(Premier ~ Jon apparently “shies” away from answering and again, yeah, that’s Jon Snow. He doesn’t like to talk about his feelings anyway and now he’s being asked by his sister if he basically gave up the North for pussy. Of course he doesn’t fucking want to answer. And as someone recently pointed out - sorry, can’t remember who said it but credit to you! - if Jon were to say “no” he didn’t bend the knee for love, he’d be a liar, and if he said “yes” then he’d seem really dumb in Sansa’s eyes and prove all her thoughts about him being an idiot correct.
Sidenote: if Political!Jon were happening, why the fuck wouldn’t Jon just say it, in this, a private meeting with the woman he supposedly actually loves - and why would he fly off on a dragon to a beautiful waterfall secluded location to dick down the woman he supposedly hates? Fucking idiot antis. Guys, just steer clear of them until this is all over!)
Another intense encounter, this time with Jorah, Sam, and Dany, likely in the library, as we can see all the scrolls and books on the shelves:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Not sure how this will go. Perhaps Jorah will have seen Sam around Winterfell and want to introduce him and Dany. Then, Dany upon learning Sam’s name, will feel compelled to tell him about his father and brother.
As we know from the leaks, Sam will not be upset about his father, but upset about his brother. Don’t know Dany’s exact reaction but Sam apparently does say “thank you for telling me.”
Now, I’m not trying to diminish Sam’s grief. I’m sure he is incredibly upset at learning his brother was sentenced to death and executed by the woman he’s been hearing about for ages. This isn’t a great start for Dany and Sam to get off on but like with most things in GOT, none of our characters are ever given time to process their own grief or anger. Sorry, antis, that’s just a fact. Davos makes a quip in Season 7 about Tyrion burning his son with wildfire for fuckssake. I mean, come on. Jon is resurrected and two episodes later he’s gathering armies for his sister to fight in yet another battle to take back Winterfell. Dany learns about Viserion’s resurrection by the Night King and immediately has to face a bunch of grumpy Northerners who don’t want her there. The show isn’t great with letting our characters just be with their feelings for a while.
So while yes, I know Sam is upset and yes, his anger over his brother’s death will be directed at Dany, he won’t have much time to process this and he won’t have much time to stay mad at her. They have work to do and they have to work together now, whether Sam will want to or not.
(Premier ~ nothing really that I haven’t mentioned above. Seems suspicious that Sam goes from blubbering crying to heading to Jon to “tattle” on Dany and say Jon could be King instead - and he’s apparently not crying in that scene...? Idk, just seems weird and opportunistic. And Sam apparently makes a joke about his Dad’s death before he finds out about Dickon? Idk all around, the writing is just really confusing. Everyone’s emotions are all over the place. And yeah, I’m with several others, I hate that Sam’s “grief” is the lead in to Jon finding out about his parentage. As the Reddit commenter says, in this scene, you’ll stop giving a fuck about Sam because you just want Jon to find out who he really is. And that kind of comment seems really telling to me).
After Sam and Dany’s talk, Sam apparently immediately goes to Jon in the crypts:
Tumblr media
Pretty sure this shot of Jon is before the parentage reveal. He doesn’t look upset and he is still wearing his Stark gorget - which he doesn’t wear in the Winterfell battle - you know, a time when it would really come in handy to protect his neck and chest...? So it appears that in the later episodes, Jon takes this off. But more on Jon’s outfits in a little bit.
Now, if this is before the parentage reveal, then I’m sure many people would ask, well, why is he lighting candles on Lyanna’s statue? And the simple answer is, because it’s what the Starks do. Sansa lights a candle at Lyanna’s statue in S5. She tells Baelish that Ned used to do the same thing. It’s just the Stark way of showing respect to their dead relatives. I can’t think of another reason why Jon would be down in the crypts anyway pre-parentage reveal but this is where Sam finds him - as per the leaks. So that’s just what Jon’s doing. Paying respects. And how perfect will it be that he’s standing in front of his mother’s statue completely clueless, only to learn moments after this that she is, in fact, his mother and not his aunt? I think Jon will likely turn back to her statue with an incredulous look on his face and see Lyanna in a whole new light.
Sam tells Jon about Dany burning his brother, tells Jon he’s the true heir, Jon insists Dany is queen now and is the one in charge, he already bent the knee, I think he argues with Sam a little about the parentage thing at first. It’s unclear how this scene will end but it will be the end of the episode.
(Premier ~ so apparently that is not the end of the episode. More in a minute. Apparently Sam tells Jon Dany would do the right thing for the people and bend the knee to him and Jon considers this possibility? Which 1 - weird. But as I stated in a recent ask, this is also another interaction that completely shoots down Political!Jon for those of you nervous-Nellies who have a heart attack every time an anti posts a new meta about it. If Jon were so afraid of Dany and suspicious of her and so distrusting of her that he had to sleep with her to manipulate her to his side, he wouldn’t think “hmm, yeah, maybe she will bend the knee to me as I’m the rightful heir”. He’d be terrified of this information and want Sam to keep it to himself. He would likely guess Dany would want to kill him if he distrusted her so. But he doesn’t distrust her and he apparently thinks she may bend the knee to him. This could be wishful thinking, but perhaps Jon is already considering a marriage alliance with Dany to avoid this drama altogether...? Who knows.
The actual END of the episode is Jaime showing up to Winterfell and locking eyes with Bran. No one else around. Just those two. The end.
Other things not previously mentioned:
Night’s Watch shenanigans. Not sure what goes on with this, if they are at castle black or not. Something with the Umbers - I had a really hard time interpreting this because it was so unclear. Will have to just wait for the actual episode. I think Sansa writers to Ned Umber too...? Fuck if I know.
Also ruins in the Wall at Castle Black...or at Last Hearth. Again, location is unclear. But definitely seems the Night King is trying to send the living a message of some kind, it’s just in an ancient language no one can understand. So this is interesting to say the least.
Also, Qyburn on behalf of Cersei, offers Bronn money to go find Jaime and Tyrion and kill them).
Phew, that was a lot.
Episode 2!
This is where I move heavy into tinfoily theory bits here but I think my guesses are pretty educated! Bear with me!
Episode 2 will open with Cersei alone in bed, Euron likely having left after they did whatever they did the episode before. And this is when Cersei will miscarry.
Tumblr media
I have a very specific reason for thinking the episode will open with Cersei’s miscarriage but I will explain that later. Also, I know according to the early S7 script leaks, Cersei’s last 7x07 scene was supposed to be the miscarriage, but I think D&D had very good reason to shift it from S7 to S8.
So far as the rest of the order of the episode, it’s pretty unclear, as is whatever goes on during this episode because we don’t have Friki leaks to go off of anymore. But after Cersei’s miscarriage, I think we’ll head back to Winterfell where Dany will receive Jaime (remember, she’s the reigning monarch here so she would receive newcomers).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s going to be a tense meeting.
Because of the Jon parentage reveal the end of the episode prior, I don’t think Jon will be at this meeting. Dany may not even know where he is so it’s just her and Jaime and Tyrion and maybe a few other Team Targaryen folks.
Jaime will let Dany know of Cersei’s betrayal and that he “intends to fight for the living” regardless of what Cersei is doing.
Tumblr media
Tyrion will stick up for Jaime, have his back, support him, tell Dany he thinks Jaime is telling the truth and that Jaime’s intentions are pure.
At this point, I don’t think Tyrion has any intention of betraying Dany and the Starks yet. But I think how Dany reacts to the Cersei news may inform Tyrion’s eventual decision to change sides later. Also, everyone please keep in mind Dany doesn’t know Cersei is pregnant (or was) and I don’t think Tyrion will tell her. I think Tyrion will just remind Dany of the dead coming south, Viserion, etc. in order to keep her from flying off for the afternoon to go take care of Cersei. If Tyrion were to tell Dany of Cersei’s pregnancy, she may immediately suspect him of knowing Cersei was lying about coming to help. So he’ll want to keep that information locked up tight.
Now, sometime after Jaime’s arrival and reception by Dany, Tyrion and Jaime will probably have a brotherly conversation, I’m guessing Tyrion will bring up Cersei’s pregnancy, maybe ask how Jaime had the strength to leave Cersei knowing she was pregnant, other things.
Jaime could then go on to have a little reunion with Brienne and may even meet Bran again. (Premier ~ obviously this happened the episode prior and maybe we would just get a continuation of that scene before Jaime meets with Dany). There is also the possibility of another large council with the Northern Lords where they tell them of Cersei’s betrayal - which would further get the heat off Dany’s back and onto Cersei’s. The Northerners will be more motivated after this news to support Dany against Cersei because again, Dany is with them and stuck true to her word, Cersei did not.
Sometime after her meeting with Jaime, Dany will be somewhere...the library? Her chambers...? And Jorah will come talk to her:
Tumblr media
He could be telling her any number of things in this scene. They could be talking about Sam and his family, they could be talking about Jon, they could be talking about Jaime. My guess is Jaime and reminding Dany of the right path because, you know, D&D love having men be Dany’s moral compass on the show and telling her right from wrong and what to do. So Jaime seems the most likely topic. I have another alternative theory for this scene but I will get to that later!
Sometime in Episode 2, we may have Theon and Yara en route to Winterfell. Alternatively, we may not get them in this episode at all and they could show up after the battle in Episode 4. More on this later!
I think for the most part, Jon may be fairly absent from Episode 2. Someone joked he’s going to be down in the crypts brooding for several days before someone realizes he’s missing and I don’t think that’s too much of a stretch (k it won’t be days and he’ll resurface to eat and give orders but he may make frequent trips to the crypts besides).
Obviously at some point, Dany will visit Jon in the crypts:
Tumblr media
This may be closer to the end of Episode 2 or it may even be the beginning of Episode 3. But as Jon and Dany would have had a romance-filled Episode 1, it doesn’t make sense for that to be put on hold an entire episode so my guess is this is Episode 2.
Dany probably won’t know the truth about Jon when she approaches, she just knows something is wrong, and he will tell her in this scene. Dany will be shocked, I don’t think she will mention “rightful” heir at all unless she offers Jon the throne which he would obviously refuse. I think she would just want to support him in this scene and maybe even have a nice little moment where she throws his words back to him “You don’t have to choose.”
Now, will that be the end of the angst? No. Clearly not. My guess is even when Dany comforts him, Jon will still be torn, especially about the familial thing. They’ll part ways, Dany giving Jon time and space to think. She’ll be upset. He’ll be upset. It’ll be angst central but there will be no animosity between them. Dany may even bring up Rhaegal and why Jon had such an easy time riding him the episode before.
Tumblr media
Also in this episode (likely before Dany goes to Jon in the crypts), we’ll get Dany in the library again and she looks happier than she did in her meeting with Jaime (potential meeting with Jaime but I’m like almost 100% sure that’s what it was). It’s been speculated that because of this set photo...:
Tumblr media
That Dany is talking to Sansa, because Sophie is in the background. And certainly this new photo of Sansa in the library as well, adds weight to that theory.
Tumblr media
However, it seems the library is a new and very frequently used set for this season, so these two photos could be from different scenes. But maybe not! Who knows!
I originally thought that Dany might be talking to Bran and he tells her the “...brought you where you are now. Home,” line. And I still think Bran says this to Dany, not anyone else. But it may not be this library scene or this episode.
So if it is Dany and Sansa in the library, and Dany is smiling, what could they be talking about? Perhaps they talk fashion, Dany commenting on Sansa’s armor, maybe she was even the one to have it made for Sansa, as the style is very much like Dany’s dresses and the Unsullied armor with those shoulders. They could be talking about Cersei and how Dany should have known not to trust her and they could bond over that. Whatever they talk about, it’s not going to be a terrible conversation, clearly Dany is smiling and she seems enthusiastic about something.
Prior to the potential Dany-Sansa library conversation, we could have a Sansa-Arya conversation, talking about maybe trying to be nice to Dany, listen to her, get to know her before they judge her, etc. The fact that Sansa will know by now that Cersei has betrayed them (because Jaime’s told them), and however Dany reacts to that, may endear Sansa to Dany a little bit. If Sansa was worried about Cersei in the beginning, and Dany has been worried about Cersei, I really feel like this could be their connection, and Dany’s connection to Arya as well.
At this point, I don’t think the Stark girls will find out about RLJ in Ep2. If they find out at all! It’s a private conversation between Sam and Jon, not a whole family affair. So who Jon decides to tell - we have to remember he’s broody. This isn’t something he’ll want to broadcast. So if/when the Stark girls find out about RLJ is very unclear.
And lastly, the end of the Episode. And my alternate theory as to what Dany and Jorah are talking about in this scene:
Tumblr media
In these scenes, Dany looks tired, wary, possibly upset, maybe not feeling well...you guys see where I’m going with this??
If the episode begins with Cersei’s miscarriage (I know, that’s just my speculation as well but...), it would make so much sense if the episode ended with...Dany finding out she’s pregnant.
She’s just found out her lover is her nephew, Jon’s being distant and broody, Jaime just dropped the Cersei bomb, shit’s about to hit the fan...and Dany’s knocked up! It would make so much sense for them to order the episode this way.
Episode 1 will end with a bombshell revelation for Jon. (premier ~ well, pretty much almost ends with the bombshell revelation for Jon).
And Episode 2 will end with a bombshell revelation for Dany.
Two things that have plagued both of their stories from the beginning - Jon’s mother’s identity, Dany’s infertility. Both things coming at them one after the other.
So if Dany has just found that out, Jorah may have overheard, maybe ask Dany if she wants to talk about it, maybe ask her what’s up with her and Jon as he’s noticed they’re distant lately, and Dany’s just significantly overwhelmed.
Regardless of whether the Jorah scene also involves the pregnancy reveal, I still think this is how Episode 2 will end.
I know I left out lots of characters and potential interactions, but I just wanted to get down those that I felt more sure about and cover the big events. Obviously smaller interactions can and will be taking place this episode too.
Episode 3
THE BATTLE FOR WINTERFELL!!!
This episode is going to be balls to the walls from beginning to end. I am guessing the episode will open with Bran, seeing the Night King just a short distance a way, maybe a day away, and so everyone needs to hall ass and get ready.
Most of the episode will likely take place in the dark, at night.
Tumblr media
This Sansa pic is probably the night of the battle or the night before while everyone is prepping. Shit hasn’t started happening yet which is why she’s still outside, but it will very very soon. Likewise this pic of Jon:
Tumblr media
Now, sidenote on this photo. My fave youtube girl mentioned this in her VIDEO that she put out recently but even before she pointed it out, I had noticed it too. What is Jon wearing? I would say this is Longclaw, but it appears to be silver, not white. It could be nothing, but if someone else noticed it aside from me, then maybe not. You guys let me know if you noticed this broach looking thing on Jon’s chest or not. But regardless, Jon is, yet again, not wearing the Stark gorget.
Somewhere in here, I think is when Jon and Sam have their conversation. “Think back to where we started.” “Now it’s just us.” BUT, the conversation will get interrupted by three horn blasts. Winter is HERE.
Tumblr media
That’s likely Sam’s face at hearing the horn blasts. Bran is unfazed because of course he is.
And now shit goes down:
Tumblr media
(I’m gonna hate this episode for the simple fact that I WON’T BE ABLE TO SEE A DAMN THING!!!)
Tumblr media
Missandei and Grey Worm have their (hopefully not) last kiss. Then Grey Worm puts on his “bitches bout to die...again” face.
Tumblr media
Everyone runs outside the castle walls to line up:
Tumblr media
(Notice in the above, there isn’t any fire yet so likely, this is right before the battle)
Tumblr media
Jorah and the Dothraki get in position (and apparently that’s Ghost behind Jorah - can see his outline by Jorah’s shoulder - side note, where the FUCK is all my Ghost promo content???!!!):
Brienne, Pod, and the Knights of the Vale get ready:
Tumblr media
Meanwhile in the crypts, Varys, Gilly and Baby Sam, and a few other non-fighters sit fearfully:
Tumblr media
And then all seven hells break loose:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sandor and Beric are in the fray (I think this moment is Sandor’s realization that he was always meant to fight with fire, not against it. Goes back to Rory’s words about Sandor finding “peace” serving Dany. He’s already seen her save people with the dragons and fire once, himself included, so he’s having an epiphany here. The fire will save him again, rather than harm him and I think we’ll see him light up his sword blood-magic style like Beric. I really hope we get some shots of him and Arya fighting side by side, him protecting her (though she doesn’t really need it) surrogate-dad style.
Tumblr media
Jon’s running around on the ground, chopping wights and Walkers down. Still he’s not wearing anything thicker or more protective than his leathers. Then again, it might be easier for him to move around, I dunno. But he’s doing his thing.
Tumblr media
Someone is chopping down wights on the battlements and at first I thought this was Brienne...but she and Pod were on the ground with the Knights of the Vale. They could have moved as it appears Pod winds up fighting next to Jaime on the battlements. But I think the person above might be...
Tumblr media
The nose certainly looks like Alfie’s nose and the person appears to have chin stubble. Could be Theon, could not be Theon. I’m praying it is. I want to see Theon in the Battle for Winterfell being a bad ass sooooo bad! But if he’s not here, I do have some speculations as to what he might be up too...more later!
Jaime and Pod are doing stuff:
Tumblr media
I’m convinced Jaime is calling “Bronn” in this scene and if Jaime looks this horrified, Bronn may have just bit it. I really hope not but of course, there will be many casualties in this episode so I can’t get too attached to anyone!
Arya’s fucking shit up while wights clamber over the battlements, those dragonglass spikes apparently doing nothing to deter them:
Tumblr media
...and then something goes wrong. It could be one big thing, it could be lots of little things. But something goes wrong in the battle and for our heroes. Obviously we know Winterfell falls. Get it? Winter. Fell. It has to. Not a pleasant thought, but the Night King will triumph in this battle. He will not be defeated and everyone will be forced to flee south.
Tumblr media
As to the logistics of how people get out of Winterfell and how the Night King still moves south, I don’t know. I think somehow Arya is going to lure some of the army of the dead through Winterfell, maybe to some kind of trap, while everyone else escapes through the crypts or secret tunnels or something. Why Arya? Because she’s quick and small and knows the castle better than most. But I could be wrong.
Whatever happens with this, again, Winterfell will fall and survivors will have narrowly escaped. The Night King will head south and our heroes will have to regroup. This episode will not end on a happy note.
Casualties in the Battle for Winterfell?
Jorah - this is almost a guarantee. With us having so much Jorah/Dany content for the first few episodes, it makes sense Jorah will die in 8x03.
Possibly Brienne - she could die saving Jaime (cuz he can’t defend himself as well as he usually is able). She’ll die defending a Lannister, a play on what she said to Catelyn in S2 when Jaime was the Starks’ prisoner.
Ghost - Come on, this has to happen. I’m gonna hate it, but they’re not gonna keep him around to ferry him to Dragonstone. He’s of the North, as book!Jon says. He belongs to the North. He will die in the North.
Bronn - already stated this. Though he may live...more later!
Maybe Rhaegal? Perhaps that is why Jon ends up on the ground, he was riding Rhaegal but then gets taken down and Rhaegal dies, forcing Jon to fight on foot.
I want to say Jaime could die in this episode too but I don’t know about that inadvertent NCW leak-lawsuit business. Is he in all 6 episodes? Is he just paid for all 6 because of an old contract agreement even if he doesn’t appear in them? Don’t know. I would guess though that he dies here.
Some minor characters: Royce, Glover, Lyanna Mormont, maybe? Maybe not all of them, but some of them.
Everyone else should make it to Dragonstone.
Episodes 4/5
Now, we know via this scene of Jon/Dany, that they wind up at Dragonstone after the Battle of Winterfell:
Tumblr media
BUT HOW DO THEY GET THERE...??
I know I kept mentioning it but now I finally get to voice my theory...:
Tumblr media
Theon and Yara will either show up before or right after the battle at Winterfell. I think because it’s the most logical location, they’ll park the ships in Torrhen’s Square so it’s an easy getaway for our heroes. White Harbor just seems too far away for them to travel to and they can’t really go by foot because they’d be marching behind the Night King so that would be weird. But I could be wrong on the location. Regardless, Theon and Yara will likely be the ones to ferry everyone to the safety of Dragonstone. Everyone’s armies - Night King’s and Jon/Dany’s, will have faced some very heavy loses.
Now, with everyone at Dragonstone, it’s a SUPER convenient location for shenanigans on all sides of the war.
I’ve mentioned in other posts and asks the possibility of an Arya/Sansa teamup to take down Cersei - Cleganebowl totally could play into this as well as Sandor loves both girls and would want to help them and also “cross a name off his list” along with Arya. This could be before or after the Night King is finally defeated, it’s unclear. My guess is after but once everyone is in the south, it’s going to pretty much be a free-for-all.
Another possibility is a Dany kidnapping. I’ve brought this up a few times and no, if you’ve been watching my other posts, it has nothing to do with stealing Jonsa theories. It also has nothing to do with Jonerys and Cersei for some reason trying to lure Jon in to capture him or something - it would just be a showdown between Dany and Cersei because as per Lena’s comments on the Dragonpit meeting last season, Cersei believes Dany to be the YMBQ and I have seen no reason to question that.
Another potential plot is definitely the Tyrion betrayal and how it will all go down, what will start it, etc. I *think* Tyrion’s betrayal will be triggered by a Jon/Dany betrayal of him first, otherwise I see no reason Tyrion would jump sides just because he’s in love with Dany. It really would be an insult to his character if it’s all because of jealousy...I would actually HATE that. I kind of want Jon and Dany to betray him first, but how, not sure.
That could be what Jon and Dany are discussing here:
Tumblr media
I think by this point, after fighting and losing the battle at Winterfell, the parentage reveal will be a non-issue for them. They can’t still be angsting over that bullshit when they’ve literally just lost the thousands of people, some close friends likely included.
We know from Friki’s leaks that Tyrion says in his trial, “They deserved it.” Some people think he’s talking about Tyrion blowing up King’s Landing but he also could be referencing his betrayal of Jon and Dany - Jon and Dany “deserved” Tyrion betraying them because they betrayed him first. To me, this makes much more sense.
After all, what would the people of King’s Landing do to Tyrion in Season 8 that would cause him to be so cynical as to retaliate? Seriously, that just doesn’t make sense. “They deserved it” to me, sounds way more personal. As in someone close to Tyrion betrayed him. And as Peter Dinklage said in one of his interviews, it’s tough for Tyrion because he loves both Jon and Dany. So a betrayal from them would hit Tyrion really hard.
This could go back to Dany’s pregnancy though how, I’m not sure. By 8x05, Jon should know that Dany is pregnant. It could also have something to do with Cersei’s pregnancy. If Jaime believes he’ll die in the battle at Winterfell, what if he has a private conversation with Dany beforehand like “Please protect my child, don’t kill Cersei, keep her prisoner if you must but please don’t kill her.” If something like this happened, Dany could guess Tyrion knew about Cersei’s pregnancy as well and that Tyrion was holding back information from her for the benefit of his family. Dany could see this as a betrayal from Tyrion, everything she accused him of on the beach back in 7x04 would have been proven correct.
As to how Jon and Dany potentially betray Tyrion...perhaps it happened before Dragonstone. Maybe they couldn’t find Tyrion after the Winterfell battle and so left without him...? I’m not sure. Maybe they negotiate a deal with Cersei to trade Tyrion for...something? Maybe they just plot against Cersei, plot to kill her to get the Golden Company off their backs, and Tyrion is finally done choosing Jon/Dany over his family - believing Cersei is pregnant would certainly inform his decision on this.
As to how Tyrion could betray Jon/Dany, this could come about in a number of ways as well. But I definitely think it will be a betrayal of both Jon and Daenerys - or else why would Peter Dinklage have said that thing about loving both of them?
One thing is for sure: Tyrion will betray them, he will get caught - my guess is Sansa and Arya will figure this out (oh maybe they will figure it out when they’re plotting against Cersei, perhaps they will find something out Tyrion didn’t want anyone to know...), and Tyrion will be executed for his crimes.
I believe this image is definitely of Tyrion’s trial. He appears to be standing on sand or dirt, not snow, it’s sunny-ish (I could be wrong). But it’s my best guess.
Tumblr media
Other wardrobe guesses...
Dany’s Dragonstone dress was her Wintefell battle dress. It likely will be right after they arrive - yes, yes, I know, the timing, the timing, but when has that mattered in recent seasons?
The dress that Daenerys wears for the majority of the rest of her time on Dragonstone/in the South, I believe will be this one:
Tumblr media
It’s a lighter material, suede not fur. It makes sense.
Sansa’s scale dress:
Tumblr media
...I think will be the dress she wears for Tyrion’s trial. It’s very remniscent of this classic Tully look:
Tumblr media
And we know from previous seasons, that when Sansa wants to channel inner strength in difficult times, she takes from her Tully side more than her Stark side - her wedding to Ramsay and having the two Tully fish pins being a classic example.
And, granted Tyrion’s first trial was conducted by Sansa’s Tully mother, it would make SO MUCH sense for her to channel Cat as she’s doing something similar - putting Tyrion on trial.
I think for Tyrion’s trial there may be a lot of callbacks to both of Tyrion’s previous trials, his trail in the Vale and his trial in King’s Landing. Robin Arryn is allegedly there. Davos, Arya, Bran, Sam - I think, and several others.
Tyrion will likely have a speech remniscent of his “I’m guilty of being a dwarf” speech. Regardless of what all is said and what all Tyrion’s charges are, I strongly believe he will die at the end (or near end) of this episode.
Aaaannnddd...that’s all I got! Let me know what you guys think. If you reblog, please reblog with the cut because this is fucking obnoxiously long. If you reblog with an obnoxiously long reply, either use a cut or simply make your own post and link it in your reblog to better fascilitate discussion (I say this like you guys are actualy reading this, in reality, this will likely get like, 16 notes at best because it took so damn long lol).

(Sansa anon here) I don't understand how fans can be so malicious to an 11-13 y/o character. They write meta about how she is so terrible in comparison to the other Stark kids, so weak and mediocre, malicious, two faced, doesn't know what love is, etc. And say that anyone who disagrees is stupid, wrong, just a "Sansa stan", etc. Has GRRM said anything to back any of it up? Or the books? It's been years since I've read them, but IDR anything like it. It hurts my heart...Sansa is special to me :(
Sansa anon! I haven’t heard from you in years! So good to see you, so to speak, and I hope you’re doing well, especially considering… everything really, sigh.
Anyway, again sigh, I don’t understand those malicious fans either. I wish it were only shownly fans and their attitude towards a now-adult woman, but I still see it from supposed book-only fans too. Stupid damned shipwars certainly don’t help – they’ve even given a terrible reputation to “sansa stans”, and it’s so hard to fight that when there are horrible character-bashing Sansa fans being misogynist and delusional as fuck in the name of their awful ship. (Though you sometimes get some misogynist and delusional ones on the other side, too, alas.) Nevertheless, I do claim to be a Sansa stan, still, and fuck all haters (both sides, tyvm).
Do the books back up this hate? No, I would certainly say – of course people can interpret things the way they like, but they’re wrong. :)  Though I’m afraid I don’t have the time to research word-by-word, sorry, but let me just refer you to @turtle-paced’s wonderful post about Sansa’s intelligence, for one, and other posts on @asoiafuniversity about Sansa may help you too.
Has GRRM said anything to back up the hate? No, not at all. The opposite, rather. A few points by him:
He did say when he created the Starks, they got along too well (families aren’t like that), so he developed Sansa as Arya’s opposite. And that Sansa and Arya still have deep issues to work out. That doesn’t make Sansa “terrible”, just very different from her sister, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that.
His original pitch letter for ASOIAF did not include Sansa as part of the “five central characters” and in fact gave her a pretty bad fate. However, he was very annoyed that the letter was released to the public, as it was intended for him and his publisher only. He said that in the outline he was “making shit up” and “characters changed along the way”. And notably, when asked about the fates of the “main five”, he also included Sansa: “Tyrion, Arya, Jon, Sansa, you know, all of the Stark kids, and the major Lannisters, yeah.”
“[We] mentioned to George that some people gave Sansa and Catelyn a lot of grief, claiming they “whined” too much. George was quite adamant that he disagreed with those readers.”
“… it is not a case of all or nothing. No single person is to blame for Ned’s downfall. Sansa played a role, certainly, but it would be unfair to put all the blame on her. But it would also be unfair to exonerate her.” (more on this subject here)
“I don’t concern myself over whether my characters are “likeable” or “sympathetic.” (I had my fill of that in television). My interest is in trying to make them real and human. If I can create a fully-fleshed three-dimensional character, some of my readers will like him/her, or some won’t, and that’s fine with me. That’s the way real people react to real people in the real world, after all. Look at the range of opinions we get on politicans and movie stars. If EVERYONE likes a certain character, or hates him, that probably means he’s made of cardboard. So I will let my readers decide who they like, admire, hate, pity, sympathize with, etc. The fact that characters like Sansa, Catelyn, Jaime, and Theon provoke such a wide range of reactions suggests to me that I have achieved my goal in making them human.” (source)
So, yes… Sansa may be a divisive character in the fandom… but that just means that GRRM thinks she’s more fully human character than a less-divisive one. Which I think is a good thing. :D   I hope this helps you, my dear Sansa anon, at least a little bit, and please feel free to use my submit box if you want to reply anonymously while my inbox is closed, no worries about the guidelines there.

Here are my thoughts on S8E1!
Since these have been sitting in my notes for awhile, here ya go. Just anything that I thought about (or yelled at my screen about) while watching the episode at 2AM (that’s when it aired in Ireland (I’m not Irish tho just studying abroad))
- A boss fight between Euron and the Mountain would be lowkey cool like I wanna see Euron fuck up the Mountain JUST to see the look on Cersei’s face
- Cersei really wanted those damn elephants
- A boss fight between Euron and Yara and/or Theon would be AMAZING
- Jon is literally just an example that Targaryen blood isn’t as strong as the Targaryens think it is (and maybe even proof that Stark blood is stronger??)
- How DARE Jon cheat on Ygritte by even tHINKING of fuckin Dany in that cave how dare he I am so angery that is his thing with Ygritte
- I cried like an actual bitch within the first ten minutes this season is gonna wreck me
- I don’t understand how Cersei thinks she’s gonna beat the white walkers. They have no Valyrian steel, no dragonlass, only her crazy wildfire shit that I have a feeling will backfire on her or sum like that
- The guy from the Golden Company is actually hot damn who is he and I hope we see more of him
- Everyone: Northerns are stubborn. They’re loyal. They don’t like outsiders. They don’t trust people they don’t trust.
  Daenerys: ...
  Daenerys: y no like me¿
- I love that Dany thinks she’s a bad bitch just cuz she has dragons. Sansa will WRECK HER ASS if she EVER threatens her or her family (or really any northerner) like that again and tbh I hope it happens
- Arya reuniting with everyone makes me so happy fuck it uP bitch
- When Sandor said “you’re a cold bitch” he really meant “I missed you and I’m proud that you survived”
- I think Gendry is lowkey into BDSM cuz he really wants Arya to fuck him up with that knife
- Since Jon doesn’t want to be king in the north lets just make Sansa the queen cuz obviously that will work 1000000 times better
- Sansa knows what’s up she ain’t playin this “i’m JUST tryna save the north” shit
- Sam is still adorable I love it my cuddly muffin
- Dany realizing she killed Sam’s famioli cracks me up it’s just such an “oh shit” moment for her cuz she never thought she’d meet the victims of her temper tantrums :)))
- HOW DARE DAENERYS MAKE SAM CRY AND HE’S STILL POLITE AS FUCK HOW FUCKING DARE SHE I AM LIVID
- awww they have little statues for the direwolves in the crypts
- JON AND SAM REUNITED SO CUTE OMFG AND JON WAS WORRIED ABOUT LIL SAM AND GILLY
- I love when Jon does his little side shuffle thing when walking forward when he’s like “bitch wut”
- As much as he hates to admit it, Jon would be a WAY better ruler than Dany
- I’m glad that Tormund is alive he and Brienne still need to make their giant babies
- “I’vE aLWayS hAd BLue eyEs”
- Aww cute lil Ned Umber he was such a cutie when he popped his lil head out when he was called on also that was some freaky shit that I didn’t ask for GoT isn’t a fuckin horror series
- Jaime seeing Bran again is a BIIIIIIG OOF moment but I feel like Bran is gonna be like “nah its chill famioli I’m the three eyed raven now so thanks actually”

The Battle
(Y/N) rode out to the field to Ramsay letting Rickon go and pushing him towards Jon,as Rickon began to run Ramsay pulled out a bow and arrow and shot towards Rickon (Y/N) rode up and hit the bow out of his hands but it was to late the last arrow hit Rickon in the chest (Y/N) feel to her knees and let the tears fall down Ramsay had some men pick (Y/N) up and take her back to Winterfell and awaited her fate.
The End Of The Battle
(Y/N) walked outside to see Jon beating up Ramsay,Jon looked up and saw you and stopped.
That night (Y/N) and Sansa feed Ramsay to his hounds (Y/N) apologized to her sister for what Ramsay had done to her while he had her locked away.
Winterfell was once again home to the Starks,(Y/N) had introduced her son Ned to Jon and Sansa.
Jon was named King in the North things changed when Jon got a raven from Daenerys Targaryen,Jon said he was going to DragonStone to see if he could ask for her help with the army of the dead.
Jon wanted to leave both his sisters in the North but (Y/N) was not going to let that happen she was going with Jon no matter what he would say to his twin sister.
Time Skip
DragonStone was beautiful and warm to warm,(Y/N) held onto little Ned in her arms as they got off the boat the Dothraki took our weapons,as we made our way up the long walk to the Castle a dragon flew by Jon dunked down (Y/N) stood there,(Y/N) had a secret that no one knew about.
As they made there way to the room where Daenerys was.
“(Y/N) is that you” Daenerys said
“Yes it’s me” (Y/N) said to Daenerys
Daenerys got up and walked up to (Y/N) and hugged her “I’ve missed you” she whispered to (Y/N).
Jon looked at his sister confused.
“I can explain, when I left after father's death I went to Essos and I found Daenerys and she helped me and I helped her I was there when her dragons where born and I was there for her a little longer then I went home but the Bolton’s had taken Winterfell and you know the rest”(Y/N) said
“Why didn’t you tell me this” Jon asked (Y/N)
“I wanted to be sure that this was real” (Y/N) said
“So you’ve come to bend the knee” Daenerys asks Jon
“I have not” Jon says to Daenerys
Daenerys looked so angry but then she heard a babe crying Sir Davos brought a little babe up to (Y/N) and (Y/N) was going to walk out but Daenerys stopped her.
“Is that your babe” Daenerys asked (Y/N)
“Yes would you like to meet him” (Y/N) said,(Y/N) know about the babe Dany/Dani had lost.
(Y/N) walked up to Daenerys and handed Ned to her.
“What is his name” Daenerys asked (Y/N)
“His name is Ned after my father” (Y/N) said
(Y/N) had told Daenerys everything about her father and that he did not want her dead when (Y/N) told Daenerys that she was very surprised to hear that.
“Hello little one I am Daenerys your mother’s best friend” Daenerys said to little Ned.
Daenerys gave Ned back to (Y/N) and Missandei came up to Daenerys and told her something.
“You all must be tired from your long journey someone will show you to your rooms” Daenerys said to us.
Time Skip
(Y/N) missed home she also missed Sansa, (Y/N) looked down at Ned he looked so much like Ramsay he had his bright blue eyes.
(Y/N) heard that a raven from Winterfell and was hoping for good news as (Y/N) walked into the small council room (Y/N) looked at the letter in Jon’s hand.
“What does it say” (Y/N) asked nervously
“It’s Bran and Arya there both alive” Jon said to (Y/N)
“I thought they were both dead I can’t believe it anything else” (Y/N) asks Jon.
“Bran saw the Knight King he’s marching towards Winterfell”
“We have to leave” Jon says to (Y/N)
“I haven’t given permission to leave” Daenerys said to both (Y/N) and Jon
“With all due respect I am a King I’m going to leave” Jon said to Daenerys.
Time Skip
Davos went to Kings Landing to take Tyrion to talk to Jaime, Davos brought back someone named Gendry he wants to fight alongside Jon when they go beyond the Wall to bring back a white walker, turns out Gendry is Robert Baratheon's bastard son.
Jon wanted (Y/N) to stay at DragonStone to be safe (Y/N) was snot going to have that she was going with her brother but she would stay at the Wall to make him happy.

GOT recap: Stormborn
Airdate: 7/23/17 ; Season 7, Eps 2
Last night’s GOT served up a combo meal of reunions, first meetings, sexy hookups and an adrenaline-filled battle …yet still, I’m left wanting a bit more. It was a decent episode - didn’t love it, didn’t hate it, the most exciting part for me was that it set the scene for things to come. Let’s dive right into the recap of “Stormborn”.
Tumblr media
Loyal-tease
It’s a dark and stormy night at Dragonstone and we get a little origin story as to how Daenerys got the kick-ass middle name Stormborn…the night she was born, there was a raging storm. Huh. It seems so obvious that I now feel a bit dumb for never having considered it.
Queen Dany is underwhelmed by her homecoming and ready to start taking back the seven kingdoms. Her team lays out the situation, noting Cersei has very little support left in Westeros, especially now that House Martell and Tyrell are on Dany’s side. Daenerys grills Varys about his loyalties to the previous rulers of the Iron Throne, noting he’s been a fickle advisor and has repeatedly conspired against those he was serving. Not to mention, he helped orchestrate hitmen to kill her while she was exiled. Varys defends his actions saying he was serving kings to the extent that he felt they served the common people, and when they failed, he turned his efforts to better candidates. Also, at the time of that whole assassin recruitment thing, he didn’t know that Dany was such a cool cat and he was just following orders. Tyrion throws in a few good words for Varys and Dany decides to pardon Varys for his past, on the condition that if he ever feels she is failing the people, he should say it to her face rather than his usual MO of secretly plotting against his ruler. She warns that if he betrays her trust, she’ll have her dragons turn him into a human shish kebab. Varys is totes down with this and happy to be an official player on Team Dany.
Next, it appears the Mother of Dragons has a visitor: Melisandre in the hizzy, y'all! The disciples of the Lord of Light have been supporting Dany for a while, so it’s a pretty safe move for Mel to visit Dany, plus, it’s a familiar place for her. Also, she truly believes that Jon Snow and Daenerys are a key to the prophecy to fight the whitewalkers, so she is hustlin’ to make this thing work. She speaks in Valerian to Dany about the “Prince who was promised”, and Missandei points out that the word for "prince" is actually gender-neutral. Could Dany be the Princess that is promised to lead all of Westeros out of the coming darkness? Melisandre may have been banished by Jon, but Dany doesn’t need to know that. Mel touches briefly on the things Jon has done up north to prep for the impending whitewalker threat. Tyrion vouches that Jon Snow is a stand-up guy and a likely ally for Queen Daenerys in her bid for the throne, since House Stark hates the Lannisters. Dany sends out a raven requesting Jon meet and bow down to her. Day-um, Jon Snow is getting all these queen pen pals lately, jonesing for his loyalty. Play on, player!

And with that, we see Jon, Sansa and Ser Davos having a powwow. Sansa worries the invitation from Daenerys is a fake, but since the letter was penned by Tyrion with a throwback to a conversation he and Jon had at the Wall, Jon thinks it’s legit. He asks Sansa for her opinion on Tyrion, since she knew him during her stay at King's Landing. Oh yeah, she used to be married to him! Not sure if Jon knows that detail. Even though Sansa thinks Tyrion is cool, she still thinks it’s too dangerous for Jon to leave, but Davos points out that dragons would be super handy if Whitewalkers ever cross the wall.
We take a quick glimpse at King’s Landing where Queen Cersei is in her throne room talking to a group of nobles and asking for support to fight Dany and her army. Some of the men are pledged to house Tyrell, which is on Dany’s side, so Cersei paints a picture of Daenerys as the boogeyman who will be sending her army to mercilessly slaughter and rape everybody in Westeros, without regard for the folks who are loyal to the Tyrells. Samwell Tarly’s dad, Randyll, is in the group and asks just how they’ll defeat three dragons. Our favorite mad inventor, Qyburn, pipes up “Yeah don’t sweat it, we’ve been working on a solution.” Omg, he created Frankenmountain…has Qyburn been creating some dragon-zombie-hybrids à la Jurassic Park in his gloomy lab?

Jaime Lannister takes Randyll Tarly aside trying to suss out whether he will be fighting for the Lannisters or the Tyrells. Jaime sweetens the pot saying he’ll make Tarly his general and once the wars are won, he can be he Warden of the South. I mean…it’s all good and well, unless Cersei loses. Randyll doesn’t make a commitment either way.
Doctor, doctor, can you help me, help me?
On to the Tarly we like best! Sam and Archmaester Marwyn are examining Ser Jorah, whose greyscale has advanced to an alarming degree. Sam says he’s seen a case - Princess Shireen - where the infection was halted, but the archmaester knocks him down a few pegs saying Sam doesn’t know anything about that case, or the circumstances or really anything about treating greyscale. Jorah’s case is beyond hope and he really just needs to be killed and put out of his misery rather than slowly waste away like the Stone Men. He gives Jorah one last day to live and get his affairs in order, and then it’s presumably Kevorkian time. When Sam offers to send word to his family, Jorah reveals his name but tells him he’s already dead to his family. Sam is taken aback when he realizes this is the son of his old Lord Commander at Castle Black.

Back at King’s Landing, Cersei and Qyburn are walking though the basement of the Red Keep, where the skulls of the deceased Targaryen dragons are stored. Turns out, that solution Qyburn has been working on is basically a giant souped-up crossbow on steroids. He gives Cersei a demo of his innovative weapon, using the largest dragon skull as a target, and it pierces the eye socket and shatters the bone. Ruh roh. Going into this season, I’ve been fearing that we are going to see a dragon die, and this scene pretty much sealed the deal that it’s gonna happen. First they came for our direwolves…and now this. Are no magical animals safe in this world???

We’re back at Dragonstone where Dany is meeting with all the key players in the war room to plot out their strategy against Cersei. Yara and Ellaria think they should just storm in, dragons a'blazing and go full scorched earth on King’s Landing. Tyrion argues this would cause unnecessary civilian casualties and Dany has no interest in being “queen of the ashes”. Lady Olenna counters that her daughter was beloved by the common folk, and it got her nowhere. Dany lays out the plan: The Greyjoys with the Martell and Tyrell armies will lay siege around Kings Landing, waiting it out till Cersei and her army run out of food. Meanwhile, they’ll send the Unsullied to Casterly Rock - home of the Lannisters, the true seat of power in Westeros.
Dany has a quick private chat with Lady Olenna, and the older woman tells her she has managed to live as long as she has by ignoring the advice of others. She suggests Dany do the same, telling her that peace is never really possible and Dany should rule like the dragon that she is. What does that mean, exactly?!

With the Unsullied shipping out the next day, Missandei pays Grey Worm a visit and the two finally admit their feelings for each other and have a hot and steamy love scene, ya know…and the guy just happens to be castrated. I’m not gonna spend too much time wondering how it’s supposed to work other than say that Missandei is getting the better deal out of this and doesn’t have to worry about birth control. Get it, girl.

Weird Science
Back at the Citadel, Sam has done some research and found a treatment for advanced greyscale. The archmaester tells him the procedure is too risky and is forbidden - the maester who discovered the cure ended up contracting and dying from greyscale. Jorah is in his room writing a letter to Daenerys. My best guess is that it’s something along the lines of: “Khaleesi, do you like me? Circle yes, no, or maybe.” There’s a knock on the door and Sam comes in with a book and some supplies, determined to try out that greyscale cure. Considering his only alternative is death, Jorah agrees to let Sam have at it - it’s incredibly painful and grody to the max as we see Sam slowly cut away at Jorah’s crusty pus-filled epidermis. This is gonna take a while so…

We turn to Arya who is enjoying lunch at the inn where her old pal Hot Pie works. He asks her if she ever met up with Brienne and then asks if she’ll be heading to Winterfell. Arya tells him there’s nothing there for her, since it’s been taken over by the Boltons. When Hot Pie reveals that’s not the case and that Jon Snow reclaimed Winterfell, Arya is stunned. Whoa, whoa, whoa!!! This changes everything - revenge can wait, she changes course and sets out for her family home. I want to get super excited for her, but every time Arya thinks she is about to meet back up with family, things go south, so I’m tempering my expectations that this will actually work out for her. I do so hope she finally has a Stark family reunion, though!

Jon Snow receives news from Samwell about the giant mound of dragon glass at Dragonstone, which seals the deal: He’s gotta go meet Dany. He tells the Northern lords he’s accepting the invite and going to get access to that dragon glass. Sansa objects to him leaving, saying it could be a trap and tells him to send an emissary instead. Everybody in the room protests his leaving but Jon can’t be talked out of it. The good news is, he’s leaving Sansa in charge. Brienne smiles with pride for her mistress and Littlefinger makes his usual scheme-y face with extra scheme sauce. Jon pays a quick visit to Ned Stark’s grave in the family mausoleum when Littlefinger pops up and tries to ingratiate himself with Jon. When Littlefinger tells Jon that he cares for Sansa, Jon goes into protective big brother mode. He roughs Littlefinger up a bit and tells him he’ll kill him if he ever touches Sansa.

Arya is making camp somewhere in the north, it’s terribly cold and you can see her breath. Her horse becomes skittish and I’m freaking out thinking it’s whitewalkers approaching - maybe they’ve managed to breach the wall already, but it’s actually a pack of wolves. Well, crap. Arya picks up her sword as the pack surrounds her and then the leader appears - a giant Direwolf…it’s Nymeria, Arya’s wolf which she sent away in order to save her from being killed by Joffrey’s guards way back in Season 1! Nice work, Nymeria, you’ve got yourself a posse!! The wolf recognizes Arya and the whole pack steps down. Arya asks Nymeria to join her on her way home to Winterfell, but the wolf just looks at her and then leaves, followed by the rest of the pack. As she watches her walk away, Arya says “It’s not you.” Does she mean the wolf, or herself? Has Arya changed so much that her wolf wants nothing to do with her? Or is it the other way around? Is it a metaphor for Arya in general - has she realized that maybe she can’t really go back to Winterfell because she can’t go back to how she used to be? Is she doomed to be a lone wolf, never to find a pack of her own??? Oh, the hidden symbolism!!

Let’s get Kraken
Moving on, we see Yara and Theon’s fleet, on their way to Sun Spear with Ellaria where they plan to pick up the Dornish army. Yara and Ellaria are below deck getting flirty, cause what else are you gonna do on the long trip? Suddenly, their ship lurches and we hear screams from above. They’re under attack by Uncle Euron and his fleet! Euron makes a crazy entrance from his ship onto theirs and mayhem ensues. Two of the Sand Snakes are killed in battle, Ellaria and her youngest daughter are captured and Euron has a tête-à-tête with Yara. He gets her in a chokehold with a knife at her throat and calls to Theon to help his sister. Paralyzed with fear, Theon stares at his sister, her eyes pleading with him to step up. “You can do this, man!” His true nature takes over as Theon goes full “Reek” and jumps overboard to save himself. Euron cackles with laughter and pulls Yara away, while Theon clings to driftwood looking up at the wreckage and carnage around him…and the credits roll.

The battle scene was intense, and my heart was pounding for sure, but I’ve gotta be honest, I didn’t really care that much about the characters involved. I mean, nobody likes the Sand Snakes, so no loss there. Ellaria is pretty annoying - and I’m sure it’ll suck when Cersei gets her revenge on her when Euron delivers her to her doorstep like a cat with a dead rat, but again, not really that sad she got captured. In the grander scheme, however, it’s bad news for Daenerys. And now that we know about Cersei’s secret dragon killing machine, it looks like things are gonna be a lot tougher for Daenerys if she ever does engage her dragons in battle over Kings Landing. Meep! I’m really going to lose it if they kill a dragon on this show. I’m thoroughly enjoying characters we all know meeting each other for the first time. Pretty sure Sam will successfully cure Jorah. It’s very cool to see Melisandre back in the picture and I’m looking forward to the big Dany and Jon meeting. Wondering if Daenerys will believe Jon and lend her help, putting her Westerosi domination plans on hold. That seems like it would be the smarter move - but of course she doesn’t know what’s up Cersei’s sleeve, so she may very well change her strategy andnsend her dragons to their doom. Looks like Arya is going to just miss Jon, but hopefully she can have a reunion with Sansa at Winterfell. I feel like she and Brienne could become besties. Anyhoo, the groundwork has been laid for some big events, so here’s hoping that next week things will really take off. See you then!
