normal people use the sauna to relax but today mid-sauna session I had the crushing realization that I needed to rewrite at least 5k of my new fic draft and I wasn't allowed to have my phone in there so I was stuck sweating for 30 minutes just re-doing it all in my head trying not to scream...really got the heart rate up, I'll say that.

I'm still disappointed how shallow Jinx and Sevika teaming up is. Sevika literally hates Jinx for screwing everything up and potentially ruining their plans for getting independence for Zaun. Her last line to Jinx is literally "I can't wait until you implode and Silco finally gets the message that you're as good for our cause as you were for your family. Jinx". Why would she not want to give up Jinx to Piltover then? ESPECIALLY knowing that this will potentially make Zaun independent? Is it not her primary goal? Besides, does she even know that Jinx killed Silco? A man she was really loyal to, for whose sake she lost her arm, who she respected and hoped will bring the Undercity its long-awaited freedom? And if she finds out that the girl she was so against killed him? Oh brother she would be AFTER HER ASS even more than Piltover.

I'm all for their partnership btw, I think they have a great dynamic, but it has to be REALLY earned. Other people hate Jinx for what she's done to them, but Sevika hates her because she stands in a way of her entire life's purpose. I would even say that they should've dedicated an entire act to their reconciliation instead of the whole Isha crap.

you scoff at the random man’s confidence to talk so boldly to you, especially in a game where you were far above him on the leaderboard.

“ew…” you don’t see the way satoru perks up behind you, or how he tosses his phone to the side and gets up, curious to see what caused your disgusted reaction.

the man on your team keeps blabbering on, not stopping to catch his breath as he continues to berate you and say words that truly make you curl into yourself from pure loathing.

satoru rubs your shoulders, his soothing presence calming the anger threatening to bubble over. your hands unsteady as you tried to continue the ranked game.

you turn to look up at your boyfriend, who’s eyes were already set on you. he raises a brow, mouthing ‘you okay?’ as you lean back into him. you can only give an unconvincing nod.

“my teammates being a dick because i decided to use my mic.”

from this distance he could hear bits of what the guy was saying, a mix of “listen to me you bitch.” and “good girl.” satoru’s lips dropped to a sneer, eyes rolling as the agitating voice never stopped.

he gently pushes you aside and takes control of your mouse and keyboard, quickly muting the guy before placing a kiss on your head and walking back to the bed.

“babe, i think if you listened to him any longer you’d be committing some form of self torture. keep him muted and finish the game, i wanna cuddle.” the pout of his lips making itself obvious in his tone.

ooh i’d love to hear about your Jason Todd Hates Gun Batman au. i loved your works with gun batman being the biggest op to Jason’s need for the dramatics

oooh okay so I'm actually super excited for this one so I'm not gonna give away too much but I will say that this is the opening line:

Jason has a lot of questions he could be asking. Why the hell does Batman have a gun? Why is he pointing it at Jason like he actually plans to use it? And why—of all the reckless, idiotic things—did his replacement just step between them like some sort of human shield? But the question Jason actually asks is “How the fuck did you make that thing even uglier in two weeks?”

basically Gun Batman travels back in time to kill someone (currently tbd) before they get too strong except he forgets that the date he traveled to was Jason's attack on Titan Tower until he pops up in the middle of their fight. Tim being Tim decides that Jason is laughably pathetic in his spirit Halloween Robin costume and that gun Batman is the bigger threat and pivots. Jason is initially pissed off about this until he realized Batman is holding a gun with the safety off and all semblance of coherence kinda gets thrown out the window.

Marvels After Credit Scene that Didn't Happen but is Canon in My Heart:

So I really want a scene of one of the Flerkittens (white with blue eyes) to be wandering around the street meowing and then we see boots coming up to it and two hands reach out and then you see it.

The metal arm.

It picks up the kitten and walks off, maybe if you're feeling really fancy maybe a few lines of quiet "hey, hey, it's okay Sweetheart" or something like that and then BOOM we have Alpine in the MCU

Then cut to Thunderbolts and Bucky still has no idea that Al is a Flerken until they're in a fight and she gets attacked and Bucky is terrified they're gonna hurt his cat and then Alpine just gobbles them up and then like Yelena is like "JAMES BARNES WHAT THE FUCK"... Cut to Bucky looking equal parts horrified and impressed and just picks up Alpine and goes "uh...good girl?"

It's no secret that I loathe Sabra/Ruth and think that role should've been filled by Sharon Carter, but it just makes so much sense!

As former SHIELD and CIA, there's no reason to doubt that Sharon could've manoeuvred her way into being Ross's head of security or some high position. (If a foreign former Black Widow can, Sharon definitely can.)

Plus, it could've continued her being secretly the Power Broker. Especially since adamantium is now on the table, i think we could've easily tied those plots together. If she's a weapons dealer/crime lord, of course she'd want to be whispering in the ear of the US president in order to get close to that.

And Sam uncovering that plot? Betrayal! It could've shown Sam's traits in believing the best in people, particularly those he considers friends, and his loyalty, and being betrayed could bring about some end of act 2 angst but by the end, recommits to his belief in people can be better. (Throw in Bucky a little, being suss on Sharon cos I love the TFATWS moments where he seems jealous of the Sam/Sharon flirty moments.)

Ohh, if the Sharon reveal happened after Joaquin is shot down, you could still have the beautiful hospital scene, Sharon enters as Bucky leaves ("Well he's a ray of sunshine/friendly as always /sarcasm). And then maybe she says something that triggers Sam's suspicion and then bam Act 3 action! (Dunno how the Leader and Hulk Ross still tie in, but idc it's a Cap film, not a Hulk sequel).

Actually, the more I mull over this, the more I'm remembering this rather excellent SamBucky fic called Spycraft for Beginners.
