in the blink of an eye (5) II a.putellas
series masterlist in the blink of an eye (5) II a.putellas
"-it happened again? usted no es serio?" you laughed in disbelief, the empty takeout cups of your coffees empty and long finished on the table in front of you.
"de nuevo. they must have a whatsapp!" alexia joked awkwardly as you grinned, the sight sending a very strange feeling through the blondes stomach which she rapidly pushed down and away.
"her new girlfriend leaving her for her ex girlfriend, different girls but twice now. we are sure she does not just find all of these chicas in the same bar?" you joked back as alexia chuckled, lips curling with amusement.
"sí sí, está maldita!" alexia shook her head, picking at the piece of banana cake she'd insisted the two of you split since it looked so good but you'd both been so busy talking you'd barely had a second to get a bite in, the icing now a little hard and crumbly.
"alexia you cannot call your own hermana cursed!" you laughed a little louder, throwing your head back and missing the soft smile which curved into the features of the girl across from you who covered it up by placing a forkful of cake into her mouth.
"por qué? she is!" the catalan insisted as you playfully rolled your eyes and sliced off your own mouthful of cake. "alba is unlucky, not cursed." you chuckled, covering your mouth with your hand as you pushed the fork past your lips causing alexia to snicker.
"qué?" you frowned once you'd swallowed and she wordlessly shook her head, small smile still playing on her face as you quirked an eyebrow. "no, tell me." you urged, twirling the fork between your fingers as your ex chuckled.
"you still do the eh, the mouth thing, when you eat." the girl gestured to her lips as you looked on confused, cutting off more cake and once again holding your hand over your mouth as you shoveled it inside.
"eso!" the blonde laughed as you did, pointing her finger at you accusingly as you realized just what she was referring to, feeling your cheeks heat up a little.
"i cannot help it, blame my mami for always telling me i looked ugly when i eat!" you rolled your eyes, alexia worried for a moment she'd offended you before your upper lip quivered as you tried not to smile.
"well you did like to talk with your mouth full." alexia teased as your eyes widened and she felt you kick her lightly under the table, mumbling that she was a dirty liar under your breath as the blonde grinned and snaked another bite of cake.
"cómo está ella?" the midfielder asked, tone softening just slightly but as hard as she may have tried you couldn't miss the ever so subtle hint of pity behind her question, and knowing exactly what it was about.
"ella está bien. she still grieves, cries, mourns, she thinks she hides it well but..." you trailed off with a sad smile, one which alexia mirrored as she hummed to show she was listening, giving you her full attention.
"i think having posie around is sometimes difficult for her even if she will never say so. mariposa is a reminder of natalia in ways that can be so beautiful, but also so hard." you mused honestly, not really having had anyone to talk to this about for some time now.
"she is also getting older, and that shows in her body more than she wants to accept. it is also why she is not able to take posie full time, she struggles to pick her up and hold her with the arthritis." you added on, realizing you were rambling a little more than you intended and stiffening, clearing your throat.
"lo siento, no quería seguir. cómo está eli?" you asked swiftly, alexia's eyebrows knitting together into a frown. "you do not need to be sorry. we got a coffee to catch up, no? that means actually talking about things." the girl reminded firmly but not unkindly as you nodded, flashing her a smile.
"it is nice, talking." you spat out honestly, the words leaving your mouth faster than you could take them back as surprised flickered across the blondes face but she was quick to mask it.
"sí, gracias por preguntarme." the older girl smiled sincerely, both of you mumbling a thank you to the waitress who collected your empty cups and plate, both of you praising how good they were.
"that cake was not as perfect as your mami's, but still it was good. i missed barcelona!" you sighed quickly diverting topics before an uncomfortable silence could build at all.
"i missed you." alexia spoke without thinking, her cheeks blushing pink as she realised her words and was quick to sit up a little straighter. "it missed you, barcelona, i am sure it missed you." she was fast to correct herself, both of you knowing that was not what she meant but alexia was grateful you chose to move on to save her any further embarassment.
and without her little slip up, the next question may not have tumbled out of your mouth quite so loosely.
"would you like to come over for dinner? to meet posie properly." you asked quickly, hesitating for a moment if you should retract the invitation, doubt swirling angrily through your head as you fiddled nervously with your fingers in your lap, hands well hidden beneath the table.
"i do not know if-" you didn't even let her fiinsh before humiliation and regret washed over you and you interrupted. "lo siento, eso fue una idea terrible." you apologised, stammering a little and alexia jolted as you stood clearly about to leave.
"oye oye! no no no, please sit." alexia stood as well, gesturing for you to sit down as you paused but none the less slowly lowered yourself back into your chair and she did the same.
"if you let me finish, i do not know if i can tonight. but i would like to, really, if you are okay with it?" alexia now hesitated, playing with the hem of her shorts as she awaited your reponse.
"sí, si está seguro." you echoed her question as you both exchanged a somewhat awkward smile. "sí, two friends having dinner." alexia confired with a curt nod.
"si, two friends who almost got married." you blurted out, hand smacking over your mouth once you had and cursing yourself over and over in your head.
"oh dios mío alexia, estoy-" you started, stopping abruptly when much to your surprise a belt of laughter left her mouth instead, the blonde locking eyes with you as your lip twitched and before either of you could help it the air was filled with your amusement.
"too soon?" you finally managed to get out once the pair of you had calmed yourselves, earning a few dirty looks from other cafe goers on the tables around you at both of your boisterous outbursts.
"sí, for some, not for us." alexia assured as you both exchanged a shy smile, looking away from one another and taking a beat. "so maybe uh, friday? for dinner." alexia asked, clearing her throat as you nodded.
"sí, friday."
~
"-pink tía?" posie questioned, balanced on her knees as your arm lay in front of her like a canvas, none of her coloring books peaking her interest today and to save yourself a tantrum you'd just given in and offered your arm up as an alternative.
"mm pink is nice nena." you mumbled tiredly, having only just gotten home from work and hardly sleeping last night since posie had been wriggling and kicking until eventually she seemed to find comfort draped across your head, the hot evening air not helping.
you tried hard not to let it happen, but without meaning to and with the rhythmic humming of your niece paired with the scratchings of the marker against your arm and you must have dozed off.
a sharp knock at the door jolted you back awak, sitting up so fast you almost gave yourself whiplash, wincing at the sharp bolt of pain which shot through your neck as you did.
"mierda!" you cursed when you realised you were alone now, the three year old who had once been curled into your side nowhere to be seen as a few more loud knocks echoed through your apartment.
"posie? dónde estás? mariposa? posie!" you shouted, rushing through the house and sighing in relief when you finally found her in the kitchen, but that relief dissapeared and the air sucked from your lungs as if you'd been kicked in the chest by a horse.
"mariposa baja eso ahora mismo!" you shouted, sprinting over and scooping up your niece who somehow had wound up with a steak knife in hand, one of the drawers pulled out and cutlery scattered all over the floor.
she hadn't thought she was doing anything wrong but your stern reaction had the girls eyes welling up in tears and before you knew it she was full on sobbing as you carefully pried the knife from her hands, setting it down on the counter.
"hey hey hey no bebita do not cry! i am not mad at you promesa promesa. i am not mad at you, i love you posie. you just scared me a little that's all! siento haberte gritado." you cooed softly, stepping over the cuterly spill and bouncing her gently up and down on your hip, feeling her tears create a small wet patch on your shoulder.
a glance back had you wincing, you thought you'd done a good enough job at baby proofing since you made all the changes ana required but clearly you needed to make a further effort if a three year old could get a knife in her possession so easily.
the guilt of it all washed over you like a shower would, your eyes squeezed shut for a moment to stop the tears which threatened to leak out, inhaling sharply and composing yourself.
how could you be expected to calm a wailing three year old if you couldn't even keep it together?
but right as posie's sobs started to melt down into wet sniffles, there came the knocking again and off she went, causing you to wince and your blood to run hot as you continued to mumble gently to her, rubbing your hand up and down her back.
right as you touched the door handle the knocking sounded again but thankfully this time posie just continued to sniffle and you cringed at how much snot and tears were crusting on the collar of your shirt.
as you yanked the door open and began to speak someone beat you to it with a click of their tongue. "so you are alive? you can tell your ex that you are back but not even call me after i-" mapi's words fell short as she took you in, disheveled, half asleep and with a sniffling toddler on your hip.
"not a good time maría." you replied curtly as the shock was still engrained in her features you weren't even sure if she'd heard what you said, too fixated on posie who was hiding herself in your neck as you protectively shifted so she was as out of sight as possible.
you were overwhelmed, overstimulated and quite frankly as much as you held no ill will toward the spaniard hers was one of the last faces you wanted to see right now.
"but-but who is-where did-" mapi began to stammer, eyebrows furrowed together with confusion as you sighed, utterly exhausted despite the fact it was barely past midday.
"lo siento, i will call you." you softened your tone slightly but before the tattooed defender could utter another syllable you were closing the door again, back thumping against it as you exhaled slowly and shakily.
"ven aquí nena, let us get cleaned up eh?"
~
once you'd gotten posie cleaned up, calmed down and settled in front of one of her cartoons you could breathe again, smiling at the way her eyes drooped despite the fight she'd put up that she wasn't tired.
you let out a chuckle and swooped in to grab the little container of cut up peaches out of her hand as you watched her eyes close and her grip loosen, setting it on the coffee table and smoothing her hair out, pressing a tender kiss to her forehead and tucking her bear under her arm.
you'd sat her on the counter and as calmly as possible explained knife safety best you could to a three year old, who adorably had explained she was trying to make you a snack after your nap, just like you did for her.
once again you had to stop yourself from crying knowing that wasn't what your niece needed, instead wrapping her in a tight hug and murmuring how much you loved her, unable to tell the tiny human just how much you needed her as well.
with posie down for her afternoon nap and still under your now hawk eyed supervision it allowed you to flutter about tidying, determined to make a better impression on your ex girlfriend than when she'd last visited your home.
you cursed under your breath as you finished and checked the time, two and a half hours somehow flying past as you needed to get posie up as well as start dinner so it was mostly done by the time alexia was set to arrive.
only you knew the girl well enough that for alexia early was on time, on time was late and late was unforgivable.
so you weren't caught off guard at a knock at the door sounding twenty minutes early, already having seen her car park ten minutes prior and checking in amusement every few minutes to see if she'd left it yet.
a quick check in on posie and you found her on the floor of her room playing with a few of her stuffed animals, another check confirming there wasn't anything she could swallow, choke on or hurt herself with before you ducked out and headed for the door.
"hola." you greeted the girl with a smile, not missing the obvious nervous tension in her shoulders as she repeated the greeting and you stepped aside to let her in.
"it is uh, cleaner, than last time." you chuckled a little awkwardly, closing the door after her as she looked around. "don't do that, people live here, of course it will looked lived in." alexia assured with a nod as you squeezed her arm appreciatively, stepping past her as she slipped off her shoes.
"oh! for you." she seemed to remember her hands weren't empty, holding up a bottle of wine, the label sparking memories that hadn't hurtled to the surface in years, a laugh of surprise leaving your lips.
"i know it is cheap but-" "but it is my favorite. i have not seen it in years!" you grinned happily, alexia seeming a little relaxed now as her lips curled upward, clearly content with your reaction.
"tía?"
and just like that any and all sense of calm alexia once felt was sucked away in an instant, the tiny brunette peeking out of the bedroom looking her up and down as you moved to stand beside her.
"remember i said one of my friends was coming over for dinner posie? well, this is alexia." you squatted down, nodding encouragingly to your niece who curled herself into your side.
"oye who is this shy chica? where is my posie mm? mi pequeño parlanchín." you teased, poking your fingers into her side as she giggled and alexia suddenly felt her knees go weak at the sight, clearing her throat lightly trying to pull herself out of it.
"tía i'm here!" your niece squealed, wriggling out of your hold as you grinned and poked her a few more times until she looked up at alexia again and shuffled closer to you.
alexia suddenly realizing she was a lot taller than a three year old immediately squatted down to seem a little less intimidating as you flashed her a soft smile, whispering something to your niece who nodded.
you stood again and offered her your hand, her tiny fingers wrapping around yours as you lead her over to where alexia was. "me llamo mariposa." the small girl spoke shyly before ducking to hide behind your leg as alexia glanced up at you and you nodded encouragingly.
"encantada de conocerte mariposa, me llamo alexia." the footballer introduced herself softly, holding out a hand as you had to stifle your laughter at the sheer size difference between hers and your nieces as posie slowly shook her hand.
"did you know the name mariposa means butterfly?" alexia smiled as posie seemed to perk up a little more, stepping out properly from behind you.
"sí! i have butterfly wings, from abuela." posie nodded eagerly as alexia gasped. "muy chulo." the blonde smiled as posie seemed to regain her confidence. "i show you after dinner?" posie offered as alexia instantly agreed and your smile grew even wider watching their interactions.
your niece letting go of your hand stepped forward now with a slight frown, alexia tensing up again as a tiny finger traced her cheeks. "mami and papi's video." the three year old spoke as you now frowned, squatting down and gently pulling her hand away from where her fingers continued to prod softly at alexia's face.
"bebita we already watched mami and papi's video this morning before you went to abuelas, remember?" you started gently, knowing the topic was an incredibly touchy one as the small girl shook her head.
"see you, in mami and papi's video!" posie pointed to alexia and looked to you expectantly, but before you could say a word she was taking off, racing away as tiny footsteps thumped through the house.
you took off after her and alexia was quick to follow, finding her in the living room with the remote in hand which she shoved at you, babbling away to press play on the video and ignoring anything you said in response.
alexia stumbled a little as posie tugged on the hem of her shorts, clearly trying to drag the much taller girl toward the couch as she sat down, posie climbing herself up to join her as with a sigh you gave in and clicked play.
you took a seat on posie's other side and for the first few minutes the three of you sat in a somewhat uncomfortable silence, though right as you were ready to attempt to put your foot down and turn it back off, it happened.
"mira! mira, mira, mira! alexia!" your niece stood to her feet, clinging onto alexia's shirt to steady herself as she pointed to the tv and sure enough, there she was, and a tidal wave of emotions overcame you and suddenly it was as if you could still remember the very day.
"estás muy guapa." the brunette hummed in your ear as you returned from the dance floor, settling yourself down on her lap as her arms tightly encircled your waist.
"muy muy muy preciosa, mi preciosa novia." your girlfriend showered you with compliments as you leaned back into her, your head craning backwards to rest on her shoulder.
"deberías ver a mi novia." you smiled teasingly, the older girl leaning down to press her lips sweetly against yours. "mmm, i hope she can fight?" the footballer whispered mid kiss as you laughed, hands finding her cheeks and deepening it slightly.
you were both pulled from your little love bubble at the sound of wolf whistles, your very drunk sister waving at you from the dancefloor as her newly elected husband caught her before she fell, sending you a knowing wink as he whisked her away.
"do you want to get some air?" you asked, pushing back up off of alexia who nodded, joining you as you stood, her fingers interlocking with yours as the pair of you made small talk with a few people on your way out.
you exhaled into the crisp night air, closing your eyes and soaking in the fact the pair of you were finally alone, ears ringing from the sheer contrast of how quiet it was out here compared to how loud the music was thumping inside.
"this could be us one day cari." you were consumed by the scent of your girlfriends perfume, turning at the sound of her voice and moving to wrap your arms around her torso.
"too drunk to walk?" you teased with a grin, your sister having been far from sober out of nerves nearly all day, quite the anxious bride from the moment she'd been proposed to.
"tal vez, we could be married mi amor." alexia was too tipsy to notice the way your body tensed up in her arms, playing it off with a laugh and hoping she would change topics.
"is that something you want?" no such luck.
"i have had too much tequila mi amor, i think i want to go back to our room soon." you looked up with a smile, reaching up to push a loose strand of hair behind her ear and not missing the odd look which flashed across the older girls face.
but before she could say another word the two of you were once again pulled from your little bubble at the sound of loud retching, letting go of one another and spinning around.
"oh dios mío....is that my mami?" you groaned in realization at the woman hunched over, throwing her guts up into the flower beds. "who is holding her hair?" you questioned with a frown, squinting to try and work it out but your girlfriend clocked it first.
"dios mío i think that is my mami!"
"tía? tía?" you crashed back down to the ground as a hand touched your cheek, blinking a few times and meeting your nieces little gaze which looked up at you.
"mira! alexia." she tugged on the sleeve of your shirt, pointing to the tv where again there was another clip of a much younger alexia spinning you around on the dancefloor, a quick glance to your right showing the girl in question watching the tv avidly with an unreadable look on her face.
thankfully it seemed someone somewhere had your best intentions in mind as the oven pinged signalling the timer was done and you breathed a sigh of relief you hadn't realized you'd been holding in.
"vamos! time to eat."
you stood with a soft tender smile on your face as you packed up the leftovers from dinner, posie twirling around the living room after she'd made you and alexia push the couch and coffee table out of the way.
she had her little butterfly wings on and you had to stop yourself from laughing aloud at alexia's own wings, which were two little blobs of purple and orange vaguely resembling tacos which posie had drawn and insisted be taped to alexia's back.
you'd tried to talk her out of it but much of your sister was in her daughter, especially natalia’s often hard headed stubborn tendencies as of course alexia assured it was fine and you'd given in, somewhat relieved you’d manage to avoid any sort of meltdown or tantrum.
it seemed posie was trying to teach her a dance of some sort and you had to hide a snicker into your hand as the footballer awkwardly tried to copy her movements, rigid and stiff and you'd always teased her that she danced with two left feet.
placing the last container in the fridge you had to interrupt, a glance at your phone showing it was nearing posie's bedtime and she still hadn't even had a bath yet.
"vale! beautiful dancing chicas, but i think it is time for a certain little butterfly to have her bath." you smiled as alexia exhaled in relief, dropping her arms from the position posie had insisted they be in, rolling her shoulders with a slight wince as you bit your lip to hide your smile.
"five more." you felt a small body hurtle into your leg nearly knocking you down as you chuckled and brushed her flyaways away from her forehead which was prickled with sweat from her dancing.
"no nena, bath and bed, or else you will be a grumpy butterfly tomorrow." you honked her nose gently as the three year old huffed, scowling and making a point to stomp her tiny feet all the way to her bedroom.
alexia jumped hearing the door slam and you chuckled with a shake of her head. "who says it is only teenagers who have attitude? mentirosa." you tutted as alexia's face softened, a snicker sounding from you as she tried to awkwardly crane her arms to pull off the paper wings.
"aquí, date la vuelta." you nodded for her to turn around as you carefully peeled off the paper, brushing a few loose pieces of fluff off of alexia's t-shirt and tapping her shoulders gently to signal you were done.
"tía! stuck again!" you heard posie holler out from her room, alexia now the one to chuckle as you explained your niece had a habit of somehow winding up tangled in her clothes when left to pull them off of her body herself.
"i should go..." you trailed off and nodded behind you with a small smile. "i should go too." alexia was swift to reply as you swallowed your disappointment at her words.
"or i stay? help with the uh dishes and to move things back?" she quickly offered, rubbing the back of her neck with a signature awkward smile. "oh no you do not need to help with those!" you assured as posie yelled out for you again.
"but if you want to stay, i will not be long?" "bien, but i am doing the dishes." "do i have a choice?" you began to walk backwards with a smile as alexia grinned and shook her head.
"tía ayuda! stuck!"

Yan! Batfam x Neglected! Reader
hope you guys enjoy!!
"Make sure to not miss any notes okay?"
You looked up at your mom despite the sunlight shining in your eyes as she smiled at you, "okay!" You trained your focus back to the piano she had guided you to, one that had collected dust in every nook and cranny, tucked into the corner of your home.
Your mom took her place behind you before resting her hands over yours. You felt her slowly guide your hands to each note, missing a few here and there piecing together a sloppily made song, one that you could barely hear over the giggles you couldnt help but let out.
Be-
You giggled more when she spend up the song, guiding your hands back and forth.
-ep
"See," your mama started, "you're getting it! I knew you would my smart little girl." She said from above you. You looked up, expecting to see her smiling brightly down at you, but-
You felt nothing but horror seeing nothing but a scratched out face.
Beep!
You shot up from your bed, sweating intensely and heart thumping wildly in your chest. Your breathing was erratic for a few minutes before you could bring it back to a normal pace. When you finally managed to calm down, you let out a sigh,
"Another nightmare." You've already had a few nightmares here and there, but recently they've become a bit too intense recently. It's not anything generically scary, but it's precious memories
Precious memories where you can never seem to remember your moms face.
It started off small, little details, a misplaced freckle here and there, before suddenly noticable things like wrong eye color. Was it really the wrong color or did you just forget?
You didn't wanna have to get up and deal with another long day, one full of advanced classes and a tad bit too many extracurriculars. As much as you hated to admit it, the overloaded work schedule was starting to take its toll on you, and you weren't too sure how to handle it.
Maybe you could rest, let yourself sleep in for the first time in what seemed like forever, even though you had some things to catch up on, maybe you could grant yourself this little mercy.
You looked up at the huge wall you passed by everytime you went to your room, littered with pictures of all the family's adventures. Dicks big flips through the air, like a bird soaring freely, Damiens standing strong showing the confidence he holds in himself, Duke smiling brightly with Tim and Stephanie. A place you so longingly wished to be placed upon.
you paused in your thoughts about deserting everything, before finally deciding to finally get up out of bed. you forced yourself to head to the bathroom and get a headstart on your day.
—
God it was too early for this
Because you tried your best to get an earlier headstart to your day, you had taken it upon yourself to drive every day to school as to not give Alfred more work, and not have to share the car with Damien, who loved nothing more than to poke, prod and criticize everything you did.
You had wanted to get to school early to get ahead on the schoolwork you had that was starting to slowly build up, along with some club work you had been given as of recently. Being in so many things and working as tirelessly as you did, it amazed people. Teachers, students, advisors.
It really was amazing to see the eyes full of admiration, something you had been longing for for years, but sometimes all you wished was to quit everything and actually hang out with your friends for once, to go to sleep without the countless responsibilities plaguing your mind.
You sighed as you pulled into the school parking lot, parking the car in front of the school and sat for a minute to mentally prepare yourself for the day ahead of you. Finally you checked your bag that was sitting in the passenger seat and fixed your uniform before getting up and out of the car.
Time for another day.
—
Even though it was tiring, studying in the early mornings at the library with the sun shining through the stained glass pane windows, sprinting to every class, ones full of hours and hours of homework, most advanced to give yourself an advantage, and trudge towards clubs at the end of every day, you made it work.
You kept everything on a tight schedule, having to keep everything on a time restraint to be able to manage everything without feeling like you were going insane. And you did, but you kept pushing as hard as you could.
But you tried to not make it seem as such, mainly for one reason.
Ms. Honey.
She was always worried about you, a lady with a heart of gold that could see the tiredness that seeped through your eyes and consumed every single part of your body. A tiredness that made it seem as if your body would suddenly one day just entirely give up on you.
She was someone who made sure that you were getting enough rest, food, and weren't overworking yourself as much as you always did.
Of course you knew that no one really cared in the end. Other than the friends you kept in your close nit circle, you knew that no one would really pay any mind of course.
But you knew Ms. Honey, and you knew that if she felt the need to, she would tell your father about all the late night studying you did, all the tears and confessions you let out to her when things felt too real, or the way your eyes would fight to stay open when you had her class, something she always noticed despite her attempts to pretend she didnt.
You didn't want him to find out, not because he would care, but because you knew he would be upset. He'd be upset that you made him seem like someone that couldn't even care for his own child, someone that was the complete opposite of his public image, and you didn't want to give then another reason to dislike you, not when you were trying so hard to do otherwise.
So you put on fake smiles, grinned so hard that it almost brought you to tears everytime. Not only for her, but eventually even your friends. Everything felt like a hassle, and that alone forced you to put on a facade to the world, one that felt heavier and heavier every day that went on.
But you tried.
You really did.
—
You strolled by the students that were ending the opposite way from you towards the door, along with the other students that had club activities. This was the one time of day that was relatively peaceful for you before it was overtaken with even more responsibilities for you to bear.
You peaked into one particular clubroom, after hearing your name being called. Your newspaper club, a club that you shared with a few of your friends, and always in a way gave you a sense of comfort. Looking in, you saw the one and only Miss Honey. You gave her a relaxed smile once she took notice of you and entered once she ushered you in with her hand.
Her eyes took on a softness once she looked at you, "Y/N, it's a pleasure to see you as always, how was your day?" You paused to think, "it was okay, y'know, the usual." She winced a little at that before returning her smile from before, albeit a little strained. "Ah, I see. Well I just wanted to check in with you, you can stay here and relax or you can go on to your next club, but nonetheless, thank you for stopping bye."
You gave her a smile before slowly retreating out of the classroom, "I'll see you around Miss Honey?" She brought her attention away from her work, and back to you, giving you a more genuine smile. "Of course, I'll see you soon."
You took that as an end to the conversation and left to your next club, letting the smile drop from your face. After you left, Miss Honey couldn't help but do the same and let her feelings come forth and settle in on her face. It truly did break her heart how sad you always seemed to be.
"I know, it must be pretty confusing for me to ask you to see me," Miss Honey stated as calmly as she could, "but I'm worried about your sister. She's been overworking herself and I know, I know she says that she's fine but, I know her and I can tell she isnt." Miss Honey paused, it seemed as though she had more to say but instead let the words die in the back of her throat while waiting for his response.
Damien let out an irritated sigh, "and why is this my problem?" Miss Honey was a bit taken back for a moment. Were they really family? After she regained her composure she responded, "well, she's your sister, is she not? I can't see why it wouldn't be." She let out a little laugh to lighten the tension but quickly regretted it seeing the cold-blooded stare she got in return.
She knew this was a bad idea, she really did, but she was just so worried. She could see it despite how much you tried to hide it. A friend of yours even let it slip how much you had been working as of recently. She brought her attention back to Damien as he cleared his throat.
"I'll... check in. But only because it was brought to my attention, so don't try and bother me with the nonsense again, alright?" She swallowed harshly before nodding her head, standing up and thanking him profusely. "Thank you, thank you really. I really do appreciate this."
Damien quickly gathered his belongings before heading back to his homeroom, to grab his stuff and go home. He honestly couldn't care less for whether or not you were okay, in fact if anything it was a good thing, finally putting good use to the last name you were given. Though he tried to ignore the small pull in his heart whenever he saw the tired eyes you shifted his way.
He couldn't let something as small as this continue, even though it was just a teachers worries, it could become something bigger, something worse, a stain on fathers carefully created reputation. And as his son, it was his job to put a pin in this.
You walked through the halls that seemed to grow longer every day. You needed to get back to your room and work on your club work. Newspaper class needed an essay on the new rules that the dean had passed along with student polls. Your photography club needed the, 'your life' collage by Friday, and you didn't even want to get started on debate.
You needed to work on homework as well, but you couldn't bring yourself to at the moment. Your brain felt like mush and you knew you didn't have the brains required at the moment to do the advanced formulas for math class, or the willpower to research more for your science fair project. You just couldn't
But you had to because-
.
Why did you have to?
Why did you have to work yourself to the bone everyday, to just come home to an empty manor, a place you didn't even feel comfortable enough to call a home? The people here would never read through the essays you spend hours creating, or go to your debate matches and listen to the arguments you piece together with ease.
So why did you work so hard? For a pat on the back that would never come for you, for another harsh criticism from your so called brother? could you even call someone like that your brother? Do siblings kill eachothers spirit with every word they spit at one another's way?
"H-"
You wanted to go back. To go back to that bright apartment- home. To the place that you used to do so many things with your mama in. God you missed her. Why did you have to have her, the one person who loved you, liked you taken away?
"He-"
How much more would you have to suffer before you could finally be able to live without the burdens weighing upon your mind 24/7?
"Hey Y/N!"
You jumped out of your trance before snapping your head over to Duke, who was looking at you with concerned eyes and an unsure smile. He paused to think of what to say now that he got your attention, "you doing okay?"
"..Yes?" You winced internally at how unconvinced that came out, you could see on his face that he clearly didnt believe you. "Are you sure? Damien mentioned your...dilemma."
You let out a sigh, you honestly just wanted to go to your room, "yes, I promise I'm fine- wait I'm sorry what?" Your dilemma? What dilemma? You could feel yourself starting to freak out, mainly because that was a pretty big area to cover. It could've been one of your clubs, classes, teachers-
You felt your heart drop as that last category came to mind. Had Miss Honey said something to him? You tried to think back to times where you messed up in front of her. Did she notice despite the smiles you put on for her? And if Damien told Duke already, how many other people had he told?
Dukes concerned face came back into focus, his mouth was moving but you couldn't hear a single word that was coming out of it. You felt absolutely sick. Your breathing had sped up against your will, and you were starting to see black spots in your vision.
Before you could help it, your legs buckled out from underneath you, and before you knew it all you could register was the pounding in your head and the vision of Dukes arms shooting to grab you before your head smacked against the floor.
It was really sunny that day, to the point that you felt like you were going to melt into a puddle. You honestly didn't pay it too much mind, mainly because you were much more focused on something else.
You giggled as your mom wrapped her arms around your waist and lifted you in the air from the small mattress you two shared, swinging you around while tickling you. You had replayed this in your mind more times than you could count, considering this was the day your mom passed.
You remember how happy you had been at first, despite the fact that it was just any other day. Getting up to your mom nudging you awake, having her whisk you off to the bathroom to get you all set for the big day ahead of you, making you breakfast full of as many nutrients as she could possibly pack into it, always trying to incorporate a smiley face into her finished work.
It was so simple, but so special.
It played like a broken loop in the late nights where you felt so utterly alone, nothing able to distract you. From the memories, the emptiness you felt when you saw your mom hunched over and eventually lying cold on the kitchen floor with smoke coming from the frying pan. The sadness you felt being dragged away from the home you two shared and made your own. The anger you felt whenever you failed to remember her voice.
You loved your mom, and even the memories that came with her, but this, this one specific memory hurt the most. It hurt because you never could do anything to change it. You couldn't when you were pulling on your dead moms arms to get up, and you couldn't when the memory played in your head while you tried to sleep.
You wished you could turn away- no, run away from this memory and bury it in the deep depths of your mind-
"You know mama always loves you right?"
You paused in what you were doing and turned towards her, confused on why she had stated the obvious. "Yeah I do! And I love you more than I love dessert!" You said with a proud grin. Your mom just turn her head towards you before bursting out in laughter, pure and filled with joy.
Her tone took a somber tone as she then said, "I won't always be here y'know. I know you don't understand what I mean now, but, just know that mama loves you no matter what, where, or who you are, okay?" You stared at her for a second before you smiled at her,
"Okay!"
You slowly opened your eyes, flinching from the sunlight seeping through the window into your eyes. You tried shifting your stiff muscles and rolling them around a bit before fully sitting up. You looked around the unfamiliar bed you were in, along with the unfamiliar room. The room you were in was obviously in the Wayne manor from the luxorious architecture, but if it wasn't yours, then where were you?
"Finally awake I see."
You jumped at the sudden voice, snapping your head towards it. You felt your heart drop as you finally realized who's room it was.
Damien.
He stared at you from a chair on the side of the bed, legs crossed. He didn't say anything further, and just stared at you. It was unsettling, not because it was cold like it usually was, that you were used to, but this was just staring, like he was simply observing you.
And you hated it.
You shifting around uncomfortably before saying, "what happened?" You winced at the scoff he let out as he sat more upright, "you passed out, that's what." You just faintly recalled what he was talking about, just barely. Had you really? You swore that you got just enough sleep to be okay.
"Get some more sleep tonight, or else." You looked back towards him surprised. As if reading your mind he continued, "I really couldnt care less, but I don't need you doing that at school that's all." He was starting to leave before shifting back towards you, "also, get it together and leave as soon as possible."
And with that he left you alone in his room.
—
You were finally back in your own room, away from any prying eyes and finally able to do your work. You needed to go over ypur club activities, maybe do some homework, and finally get dinner. When was the last time you had eaten.
You looked over at your phone after hearing the notification, picking it up and checking who had texted you. It read,
Aryannn 💓
> Hey Y/N, do you wanna go to dinner with me and cody?? Ik, your soooo busy these days but pleasee? 😞🙏
you relaxed seeing who it was and let out a little chuckle. You missed hanging out outside of school with them, but you had work to do, and unfortunately it was due soon which meant you needed to get a jump on it.
"Just know that mama loves you no matter what, where, or who you are, okay?"
You paused and decided to do something different than your usual.
Sorry Aryan not ton|
Sorry Aryan no|
So|
Ofc!! I'll see you two soon, usual spot?|
you didn't need to see her response as you jumped out of your desk chair with a big smile on your face, maybe for once you could let loose and have fun, let yourself not be overtaken by the piles and piles of work you have to complete.
Breathing felt easier for some reason.
—
You walked down the long staircase skipping a few steps here and there with a pep in your step. You were excited to finally be able to see those two after- how long had it been? Well, if you couldn't even remember then it had for sure been too long.
You skipped down the stairs and right as you reached the end and started to make your way towards the front doors, you noticed a blur of red to your right. You did a double take before noticing Barbara, who was seemingly just standing there by the bottom of the stairs banister.
She looked at you and smiled, which wasn't out of the usual. You assumed it would end there like it typically did, but surprise surprise when she actually waltzed over towards you and blocked your path to the door.
She smiled at you and said in a soothing voice, "hey Y/N, doing okay?" That made you cautious. Why did she suddenly care if you were okay or not? Unless-
"Did Damien say something about me? Because if so I promise I'm fine." You blurted out to her. There's no other reason why she would suddenly care about you, or atleast not any that came to mind.
Her eyes widened an inch when you said that, before letting out a sigh and rubbing her forehead. "Straight to the point I see." She said plainly, "look I know you probably think your fine, but could you please go lay down? It's dangerous, and if you pass out, in Gotham of all places, you could get seriously hurt. Please?"
You hesitated for a moment before deciding, "I'm fine, alright? I'll just be out for a little, I'll be careful." She reached out for you as you passed by her before letting her arm fall back to her side as she let out another sigh.
As she watched you walk out through the doors and saw your figure fade into the distance before the doors shut, she pulled out her phone and dialed someone.
—
You strolled down the street arm in arm with Aryan, with Ethan looking in the shops by your side half listening in, half in his own world. You felt so relaxed, being here with them talking about school antidotes, teachers that were irritating as of recently, just catching up with eachother.
Despite the fact that you were originally supposed to get dinner with these two, you guys had been going from shop to shop looking as many things possible. Clothing, antiques, video games, comics, books, technology, home furniture, you name it. The one thing you loved about being with them was no matter what or where you were, you would always be laughing to the point of pain.
You felt so happy with them.
As you guys finally walked up to the restaurant, Aryan pulled Ethan to the front and started to push him in while following him. You were about to go in after them, but felt your heart spike as you saw something run in the corner of your eye. You snapped your head towards the street but saw no one there. Your eyes lingered on the alleyway, but decided against it since alleys were typically a call for death in Gotham.
Ethan pulling on your arm brought you back, so you shook it off and walked into the restraunt with your friends.
—
You had enjoyed dinner much more than you thought you would've. Dinner was fun, filled with stories dating from a week ago, to even a few years back, memories you treasured more than anything. You guys split the bill, grabbed takeout containers and piled on as much as you could before heading out.
You guys had parted, going your separate ways after a prolonged goodbye, one that must have lasted over half an hour. You were going your way, passing a few people here and there, but still feeling a twinge of unease. It felt as though you were being followed, and although you wanted to chalk it up to nothing more than being tired, in Gotham being followed was way more common than was typically normal.
You kept speeding up, hoping to get to your car quicker, praying to whatever God's there were that it wasn't all jacked up. How stupid were you to not only leave it who knows where at this time of night, but to walk alone? In Gotham of all places. You couldn't help but berate your past self as you speed walked through the streets.
Just as you turned a corner, you felt yourself bump into a tough chest. You fell back a little before being caught and pulled back up. You rubbed your head a bit, before looking up at them and seeing his worried look, "are you alright kid? Sorry I didn't see you."
It took you a few seconds of sifting through the vigilante names and pondering on it as to not get it wrong, "...Nightwing?" He immediately lit up as you said that, "yeah, the one and only!" His tone immediately became concerned, "should you be here right now? Gothams dangerous, you should be careful."
You just stared at him in question, why were so many people worried about you recently? But as to not give him any more reason to worry, you settled on, "Yeah, well I'm okay." you did a double take as your eyes settled on your car sitting in the parking lot behind him, and mentally did a victory dance. Thank you universe.
"Actually," you started as you tried to ease on by him, "my cars right over there, so I'll be heading off now since you probably have other people to save and whatnot. Bye!" You tried to walk past him quickly but the feeling of his hand snatching your wrist made it clear that this conversation wasn't done yet.
"Wait!" He winced after he had yelled that out, coming out louder than expected. He hesitated for a moment, before letting go of your wrist. "Just... please be safe, okay kiddo? You should be more aware of your surroundings and not goofing around with friends at this time of night."
You looked at him and tried to place exactly where you recognized his mannerisms from. Pushing it to the back of your mind, you simply smiled up at him, "of course! Thank you Nightwing." After saying your final piece sprinted back to your car before he could try anything else.
When you finally reached the car, you let out a sigh of relief. Finally you were in the car, and despite the fact you had a long drive back, you let yourself have this little victory. You looked back at the spot that Nightwing was standing in as he waved towards you with a smile on his face before disappearing in a flash.
You started up the car and looked at the screen to check the time.
10:47 PM
Despite how nervous and frankly a little creeped out you had felt before, Nightwing was right. Being out with friends so late in the streets of Gotham was the kind of stories you saw everyday on the news. If anything you-
You felt your heart drop when a thought came to mind.
How did he know you were with your friends?

Sirius Black x fem!reader who takes Sirius to a winter cabin [732 words]
CW: celebrating Christmas, Sirius pretending to be disgruntled even though there's literally no place he'd rather be (other than the Maldives, perhaps)
“You know we could be in the Maldives right now, right?” Sirius drawls from his place stretched out on the luxurious queen sized bed adorned with a copious amount of bedding and faux fur throw blankets. “Wearing far less clothes and not needing to risk splinters every hour just to stay warm.”
You smirk as you watch the log you just added to the fire catch; sparkles crackling and shooting from the bark as you close the windowed door to the woodstove.
“This is romantic, though.” You argue, hanging the fire poker back up and turning to face Sirius. His long sleeved sleep shirt was so thin and tight that you could make out every curve of his upper body; pyjama pants hanging sinfully low on his waist as he laid watching you, head propped up by his fist and his legs crossed casually at the ankle.
You thought, then, that Sirius Black - with his inky black curls falling nearly to his shoulders, his fair skin decorated by high contrasting black ink, clad in his comfies and surrounded by fur blankets, the numerous windows of the tiny cabin giving you a perfect view of the snow covered mountains surrounding you - had never looked more beautiful.
“You know what else is romantic?” He asks with an arched brow, feigning insolence even as his eyes track the way that the hem of his thick jumper you were wearing rose slightly higher along your bare thighs as you made to crawl back into the bed. “Being served drinks that are equal parts sugar and rum whilst laying under a cabana and insisting that my sunburn is going to fade into a tan even though both of us know it isn’t true.”
“You know what’s not romantic?” You murmur as you settle into the bed, slotting your bodies together as Sirius pulls one of the thick furry throws over the two of you. “Listening to you yelp when you feel a little bottom feeder fish nudging your toes and claiming that the barracudas are after you again.”
“I thought you said you loved the sound of my voice?” He asks accusatively.
Nor is peeling said burn off your back like layers of a very pink onion.” You continue, pressing a kiss to his down turn lips as he narrows his eyes at you.
“You’re very mean to me.” He pouts, though he readily accepts your kisses.
“Am I?” You murmur into his cheek as you move to trail kisses along his jaw; a content sigh escaping your boyfriend as he closes his eyes and melts into the bed. “I only wanted a white Christmas.” You pout as you pull away, batting your eyelashes at Sirius as he cracks one eye open to cut you a look.
“And a white Christmas my girl got, hm?” He responds before wrapping his arms around your middle and rolling over, eliciting a squeal from you as he settles you atop of him chest to chest. “What does that make me?”
“The best.” You agree readily, pressing another kiss to his lips, smiling at the appreciative hum that earned you. The moment was ruined, however, when his icy cold hands wormed their way under the hem of your stolen jumper to settle on your lower back. “I take it back; I take it back, you’re the worst!”
“The worst?” Sirius hums casually, strengthening his hold on you ever so slightly as you try to wiggle out of his grasp. “But I sacrificed sandy beaches and tropical drinks and swimming with dolphins for you. Seems only fair you warm up my hands.”
“You need to see a doctor.” You grumble as you relent to being used as his personal furnace. “You must have circulatory issues.”
“Or my beautiful darling girl has sequestered me in a tiny wood-heated cabin in the height of winter.”
You lift your head to rest your chin on Sirius’ chest; cataloguing all the ways in which his face was at complete odds with his voice. The soft upturn of his lips, the slow, relaxed blinks as his eyes flickered across your features in much the same way yours were flickering across his.
“I’m beautiful and darling, hm?”
“The beautifullest and darlingest.” He confirms readily, and you can't help but smile at him; he can’t help but smile right back.
“Happy Christmas, Siri.”
“It really, really is.” He agrees.

Man I always have the best ideas for your requests and then the moment I see they’re open it’s like no thoughts only smooth brain.
Can I request where reader is friends with both Eddie and Steve, they become a little trio. Reader is attracted to both of them but keeps it secret because she doesn’t want to mess up the dynamic, doesn’t know how she’d pick when she loves them both. Eddie and Steve both really like her but their situation is complicated. They’ve been secretly together for a little bit but both agree they want reader. It’s just how do you spring that on someone and if they refuse not make everything weird? (Plus, people are really judgmental about same sex dating and alternative dating etc.) They both actively flirt with her, treat her right, they think they’ll actually reveal if she confesses to liking one of them. They all go out together as they normally do but there is a lot more teasing flirting from both boys to her. She says goodbye to them at the end of the night but is so keyed up from the flirting and what not she has to have an answer. She is intent on telling them that she likes them both and doesn’t know what to do. Except She catches them messing around? (Cause obviously they liked the flirting a lot too.) She’s super embarrassed and lowkey a little sad that they kept the relationship from her and that if they’re together they won’t want to be with her. But then Eddie and Steve confess and happy fluffy sexy ending.
Thank youuuuuu I love you mwah
I hope this is what you wanted and you enjoy it. Thank you for requesting 🫶🏻
⚠️little bit of smut
Flirting game
Y/N dreamed about the day she'd fall in love ever since she was young, how her heart would race from eye contact and plan a future by their side. She didn't expect how hard it would be to be in love with two different people.
Y/N, Steve, and Eddie had been close friends and didn't spend much time apart. It was easy for them to get along, and they barely had boundaries. Everything in their life was shared and secrets didn't exist. Well, that was a small lie.
Y/N was head over heels for Steve. She felt it was obvious since she could never keep her cool around him. She craved to run her hands through his hair, feeling how soft and silky it was. His sweet compliments paired with his smile made her stomach do flips. He was softer than Eddie, offering a comforting shoulder. He listened to all her feelings and made her feel accepted.
To make it more complicated, she was in love with Eddie too. His long hair and boyish charm never failed to make her heart race. His dirty jokes warmed her cheeks. His rough exterior always had her attention and she wanted his attention on her.
She felt tugged between the two. Steve pulled one arm and Eddie pulled the other, and she wasn't sure who she wanted to win. Her plan was to suffer in silence until one of them made a move, but one night got too hard to walk away from.
~
"Steve this place is amazing," Y/N said in awe as she walked around Steve's newly owned apartment. Eddie nodded as he sipped on his can of beer, walking behind her.
Steve smiled as he handed her a glass of wine. "Thank you, there's one place I want you to see." Y/N was intrigued, blushing to herself when Steve ran his fingers down her arm and moved to hold her hand. Eddie smirked as he stood behind, sharing a look with Steve.
Y/N let Steve lead her blindly, enjoying the feeling of his hand in hers. Steve walked her down the hall and stopped, a smirk on his face as he opened the door.
She looked in the room, expecting something exciting but all she saw was a bed and boxes. "What is it?" she asked, not understanding what he wanted to show her.
"It's my bedroom," Steve said, his hand still in hers. She looked at him confused, and then she felt Eddie's body pressed against her back. She held her breath as he moved his nose against her neck, her eyes locked on Steve.
"You know what happens in a bedroom right, baby girl?" Eddie whispered into her ear. She tried to cover the fact that her insides were burning as she stood between them. Steve moved closer until his body crashed against hers.
"Don't look so scared, love," Steve chuckled, pushing up her head as he placed a finger under her chin, "The bedroom is for sleeping." Eddie and Steve moved away at the same time, allowing air to move through her lungs. Their touch was gone and she felt cold air wash over her. She stood in shock and confusion as the boys walked down the hall. Her mind raced as she tried to figure out what happened.
"Coming?" Eddie asked from down the hall. She turned around and nodded, quickly walking towards him.
They worked on putting away boxes for the next few hours. Steve's apartment slowly came together as more drinks were shared. Building up an appetite, Steve ordered pizzas declaring they'd take a break for food.
"Since I have no table, the floor it is!" Steve said cheerfully as he sat on the ground. Y/N held her third glass of wine as she took the spot across from him, and then Eddie joined after. Steve and Eddie's knees touched and Eddie's knee touched hers, all connected in a way.
They talked among themselves as they ate. Y/N listened closely as Steve talked, watching his lips form the words. She was so zoned in on him that she didn't realize she dripped sauce down her chin, but Eddie noticed.
When Steve finished his sentence, Eddie reached over gaining her attention when he swiped his thumb over her chin. She jolted in surprise, her eyes on Eddie as he cleaned up the sauce. She was stunned by the small intimate touch, staring in awe when Eddie slipped his sauced thumb into his mouth. He soaked in her stare, giving her a wink. She quickly looked away, gulping down the rest of her wine.
Eddie excused himself to the bathroom and Y/N breathed a sigh of relief. With her body warm and brain in overdrive, she stood up to grab water from the kitchen.
Steve followed, walking quietly enough that she didn't know he was there. She opened the fridge and let the cold plastic soak into her skin. She took a few sips as she calmed herself down. She turned around and her back was pressed against the fridge. Steve looked down at her with a smile, loving the way her breathing picked up.
"Are you feeling okay? You look a bit warm," Steve said reaching his hand out and pressing it against her forehead.
"Um, yeah. I think I need some rest, though," she said, needing a break from the way these boys were throwing her around. Steve clicked his tongue, and his hand moved down to her neck. She held her breath as he leaned in, his face inches from hers. She couldn't help but look down at his lips, wanting to lean in. Steve's lips formed into a smirk, and he backed away, his touch no longer lingering on her skin.
"Do you need a ride?"
"No!" Y/N knew she wasn't going to survive a car ride with him. "I can drive."
She grabbed her keys and practically ran to the door, saying goodbye to Eddie as he approached.
"She's leaving?" Eddie asked, watching as the door closed.
"Yep. But I think our plan is working," Steve smiled walking over to Eddie.
"Then why won't she just admit something?" Eddie groaned. It's been months of the cat-and-mouse game, and he wanted it to end.
Steve wrapped his arm around Eddie's slim waist, bringing the boy against his chest. "She will, I know she will." Eddie rolled his eyes as he lost patience.
"In the meantime, we can enjoy what the little show does to us," Steve flirted, placing a hand on Eddie's chest. Eddie smirked as Steve's hand slid down his body, landing on the button of his jeans.
"Yeah? Turns you on working her up like that?" Eddie teased. Steve unbuttoned his jeans, sliding his hand inside. Eddie shivered as Steve teased him over his boxers, the touch setting him on fire.
Steve pressed his lips against Eddie's, moving his hand inside Eddie's boxers to wrap around his cock. Eddie moaned into his mouth, diving his hands into Steve's hair. Eddie slid his tongue into Steve's mouth, their tongues massaging against each other. Steve moved his hand up and down on Eddie's cock, twisting near his tip forcing his pre cum to drip out. Steve smeared the pre cum along Eddie's length, using it to help jerk him off.
~
Y/N was halfway home when she turned around. The heat between her legs reminded her how badly she wanted them. Even though she was scared as hell to tell them the truth, she made her way back to Steve's.
Her head was all over the place and she had no idea what she would say but kept moving forward. She dug out the spare key Steve gave her and let herself in. The house seemed empty but she knew they were there somewhere.
She walked down the hall towards the bedroom, freezing when she heard the sound of moans. She gulped as she went to step back, not wanting to intrude on Steve's private time. But a part of her wanted to see, she wanted to see Steve moaning out curious of what was making him feel so good. She stepped forward, peeking her head in the open doorframe.
Eddie and Steve were naked and tangled in Steve's sheets. Their naked chests pressed against each other as Steve pushed himself in and out of Eddie. Their moans meet each other in the air between them. Y/N stood in shock. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She never thought anything was going on between them, hell she didn't even know they were gay. She felt hurt that they kept this from her and that her feelings didn't matter anymore.
She turned to sneak out but her step caused a loud creek to echo throughout the hallway. The boys froze and looked towards the door, catching Y/N's stunned expression. She opened her mouth to say something, but nothing came out. Then she booked it, running down the hall. Steve and Eddie called out to her, quickly scrambling out of bed and throwing on their underwear as they ran after her.
By the time they reached her, she was staring at the door, trying to decide whether she wanted to leave.
"Y/N..."
"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have let myself in," she apologized. She turned around and took them in. Their sex hair, Eddie's marked chest, and Steve's bruised lips.
"It's okay," Steve coughed, "can we talk about what you saw?"
Y/N nodded and hugged herself. "Are you guys...together?"
"Yeah, for almost four months now," Eddie answered.
"Four months?" She screeched, she dropped her arms in shock. "Why didn't you guys tell me? Did you think I wouldn't accept you?" She accused.
"NO!" Steve rushed, "It's just we are so used to hiding so we hide from everyone."
"So was all the flirting to throw me off? Make sure I believe you're straight? Because that's fucking shitty! You played with my feelings!" Y/N cried, getting so frustrated that tears began to fly down her cheeks.
"No, baby. It is nothing like that," Eddie said softly. He slowly walked up to her, and she allowed him to touch her arm. "We weren't playing with your feelings or using you. We meant the flirting, we were hoping if we made advances towards you that you would tell us how you felt about us."
"How I feel about yo-ouu...b-both?" she stuttered. Did they already know? She looked between the two with fear in her eyes.
"We are both interested in you. We both have strong feelings for you." Steve confessed. Y/N was stunned by their confession. All the time she hoped they'd look her way, and they truly were.
"What do you feel about us?" Eddie asked, leaning closer to the shaky girl. He smiled as he cupped her cheek, landing a soft kiss on her cheek. "Just tell us," he whispered, his lips leading down to her neck.
She gasped in pleasure, and her eyes met Steve over Eddie's shoulder. Eddie continued to kiss her neck as Steve stared into her eyes.
"I want to be with both of you," she moaned out, Eddie's teeth sinking into her neck. Steve smiled at the confession and walked towards them. He walked around her, his naked chest to her back as he pressed his lips to the open side of her neck.
Y/N shivered as both of their lips pressed against her skin, her eyes closing as their hands began to work up and down her body.
"Let us show you how much we want you," Eddie whispered.
"Please," she moaned.
"Our pleasure, baby girl," Steve whispered against her skin.

bookworm blurb
pairing: bookworm!reader x rafe
synopsis: you’re trying to read your book but a certain someone can’t help but distract you

something about books always calmed you down. you were an anxious mess ninety nine percent of the time but reading always helped shut your mind off. it made you stop thinking about all the what ifs and kept you from overthinking. you could get so into a book sometimes hours would pass when in felt like only minutes. you could completely focus in on the words on the page and completely forget everything around you. which is why you didn’t notice him standing there watching you.
rafe thought it was cute how you could talk about books all day. he didn’t have the attention span to read that much but he always admired you for it. the way your face would light up when you discovered a new favorite. sometimes you would even cry when one of your favorite characters died. he hated when you cried of course but he found it so fucking endearing how connected you could be to these characters.
he shook his head and slowly walked towards you. your stomach was against the cushions, you knees bent with you feet in the air. your hair in a messy ponytail on the cusp of falling out. they’d spent the whole day home. the weather outside one of those rare cold, rainy days. you always said you loved listening to the rain as you read. it was the perfect background noise.
“hey sweetheart.”
you jumped, quickly closing your book. a blush already rising on your cheeks. you knew you shouldn’t be embarrassed but you always were. your thighs rubbed together as you turned your head to look up at him.
“you scared me!” you let out a laugh as you made to get up but his hands pushed your back down. “what’re you doin’? don’t you wanna sit with me?”
“ ‘course I wanna. but you look comfy, keep reading I just wanted to see you.”
he lifted your legs and slid under you. his hands immediately going to massage your thighs. he could never keep his hands off you for long. Whether it was holding your hand or playing with your hair.
you went back to your book. quickly getting immersed in the words again. it wasn’t uncommon for rafe to sit with you while you read. his hands mindlessly rubbing up and down. occasionally his fingers would drift a little too far up. fingertips grazing your underwear. you hadn’t bothered getting dressed this morning. simply throwing on a shirt and pair of panties.
you’re not sure how long has passed but you were a little more then halfway done with your book.
“baby?” his fingers stopped just below your underwear. tracing the fabrics edges but never straying to your center.
“hmm?”
he knew what he was doing. you’d manage to block him out for the most part. but he’s been getting touchier the longer you read.
“you’re so pretty.” both his hands came up to squeeze your ass and you let out a little moan.
your face was burning. you’d been together for a while now but you’d never get used to this. his words. his touch.
“my pretty girl. you’re reading one of those scenes aren’t you? think i didn’t notice you clenching your thighs? don’t know why you read ‘em when i’m right here.”
you were dripping. it only took a few words and touches from him to have you soaking through your underwear. you tucked your face into your arms. your book falling onto the floor with a little thump.
“so wet. this for me or your little book?” his fingers were teasing. dragging back and forth over the material separating you from him. the material thin. his fingertips catching on your entrance every so often.
“for y-you. always for you.” god he was barely even touching you and you were a panting mess. “please rafe.”
his fingers stopped. his warmth gone in an instant. your head popped up about to ask why he stopped before you felt a sharp sting on your ass.
“tsk tsk. what did i say about you calling me that? try again sweetheart.”
his hand was massaging you over where he slapped. the skin sure to have a pink mark.
“p-please daddy. teasing too much.” you were shocked when he first asked you to call him that. you didn’t realize you’d liked it until you were a moaning mess beneath him, the word slipping out like you’d said it thousands of times before.
“see? that wasn’t so hard baby was it.”
your thighs clenched with his words. his voice alone could make you wet. he knew how to talk in a way that had you melt against him.
“you want my fingers sweet girl? your body’s tellin me ya do. so wet f’me. i don’t know why you bother wearing these. ‘m just gonna take them off.”
sure enough you felt him pulling the fabric don’t your thighs. you flushed as you felt your wetness trailing down your leg. his fingers coming back up to rub you. trailing up and your your slit. his fingernails catching on your clit making you whine.
“daddy. please.”
you could feel his gaze on you. you’d imagine a smirk lining his lips. you could feel how hard he’d become beneath you. the sweatpants leaving little to the imagination. your hips trying to rub up against him.
“so needy. c’mon baby i wanna hear you say it.”
your face was flushed. you could feel sweat dripping down your neck. his fingers avoiding the one spot you needed him to touch.
“please. p-please fuck me with your fingers.”
his middle and pointer finger immediately dipped into you. you were so wet there wasn’t even any resistance.
“yes. yes. ohmygodplease.”
before you’d met him you’d tried touching yourself. but your fingers were too slim. too short to reach that one spot inside of you. rafe’s the first one to make you cum. his fingers thick and long enough that he barely has to try.
you hear him chuckle. his fingers dragging against your walls. in and out. in and out.
“god baby. you’re dripping down my fingers. feel good yeah? i can feel you gripping me. so fucking tight.”
he lets out a groan as your walls squeeze him. you’re so close. so fucking close. tears brim your eyes and you can’t help but buck against his fingers chasing that feeling. your stomachs tightening and you’re so close you slam your eyes shut. whining and moaning incoherent words. all you can feel is his rough fingers slamming inside you.
“god please i’m about to cum. please i-i need-
“don’t worry baby. i know what you need.”
his thumb finds your clit. running tight and fast. you throw you head back.
“ohmyfuckinggod”
you feel that spot in your stomach snap. stars dance behind your eyelids as your body slumps on the couch.
you feel him move beneath you. he’s so hard beneath you it makes you whimper at the thought of how he feels inside you.
rafe’s hand, the one he wasn’t using, comes and and grabs your head. tilting your face to look at him.
“eyes on me baby. there she is.”
you’re blinking. your eyelids fighting the heaviness that weighs down your body. yet you feel your body clench as you watch him lick you off his fingers. his eyes never leaving yours.
you feel yourself dripping onto him. no doubt leaving a wet patch on his pants.
“so fucking sweet. here, taste yourself. lick my fingers clean.”
you weakly lean forward and take his fingers in your mouth. gagging slightly as he pushes them in farther.
“there you go. good girl, cleanin’ me up so well.”
um so hi. this is my first attempt at smut and omg what do you think.

i miss you! - choi seungcheol
warnings: none except if you count making out 🤷♀️
pairings: choi seungcheol x reader
genre: established relationship, fluff!
wc: 1.1k
a/n: taking a short few hours break from reqs writing ✍️
check out my masterlist! // cheol's list
seungcheol stirs beside you as the soft afternoon light filters through the blinds, his arm wrapped tightly around your waist as he pulls you closer. his body is warm against yours, and the weight of his presence makes you feel safe and comfortable. you shift slightly, trying to free yourself from his grasp, but he groans softly, tightening his hold.
"don't go yet," he mumbles, his voice thick with pleading. his lips press gently against your neck, and his hand moves up to tangle in your hair, tugging you even closer.
you smile to yourself, but the reminder of your plans pulls you back into reality. you have lunch with your friends soon, and they're waiting for you. you hesitate for a moment, then gently nudge him. "cheol," you whisper, "i need to get up. i'm meeting the girls for lunch, remember?"
he groans again, louder this time, and buries his face in the crook of your neck, his breath hot against your skin. "can’t you stay home?" he whines, his voice still heavy but laced with a hint of desperation. his lips brush over your skin, moving in a soft trail up your neck, as if trying to distract you from your plans. "i miss you. don’t go yet.”
you laugh softly, rolling your eyes at his antics, but he’s not giving up. his lips press more insistently against your skin, his hand sliding to your waist, tugging you back into him as if you’re glued together. "just stay here," he murmurs, his words barely audible against your skin. "i really miss you... like, a lot." his voice has a little whine to it, and you can’t help but smile.
"cheol," you sigh, trying to hide your own amusement. "they’ll be waiting for me."
he pouts, the expression exaggerated and playful, and then he lifts his head slightly, his eyes dark with a teasing glint. "but i’m not ready to let go yet," he says, his voice low and husky. his lips meet yours in a soft, lingering kiss, as if he’s trying to keep you from leaving with just his touch. "i haven’t seen you all week," he whines, rolling over so he’s hovering over you now, his knees trapping you under him, his hands sliding under your shirt, fingers lightly brushing your skin. "i miss you so much."
seungcheol isn’t ready to give up. he pulls back slightly, just enough to look at you, his eyes soft but full of that familiar puppy-like sadness. then, before you can even protest, he leans in and presses his lips against yours. it’s a slow, tender kiss, one that makes your heart flutter.
you chuckle into the kiss, pulling away just enough to look at him. “are you trying to get me to stay?” you ask with a playful grin, raising an eyebrow.
seungcheol doesn’t answer right away. instead, he presses a gentle kiss to your neck, then another, slowly trailing up to your jaw. you can feel his lips against your skin, soft and warm, sending little shivers down your spine.
seungcheol pauses, his lips lingering just a breath away from yours. he looks at you with a mischievous glint in his eyes, then shrugs exaggeratedly. hmm, hums, pouting just a little. “is it working?”
you pull away slightly, breathless from his kisses. "but my friends…" you start, but your words falter as he gives you a small pout, then he presses his lips against your skin again, trailing down your neck, his teeth grazing gently.
"can’t we just forget about them?" he whispers, hands sliding down to the waistband of your shorts, fingertips lightly teasing at the edge before he slides his hand under the waistband briefly. "i just want to stay here with you," he says again, this time his voice a little more desperate, a little more playful.
his kisses become more insistent, his body pressing into yours as his lips move back up to yours, hot and needy. his hands slide to your thighs, squeezing gently, pulling you even closer to him. "stay with me," he murmurs, lips brushing against yours between words. "i’ll make it worth your while."
you let out a soft laugh, finally giving in to his teasing and whining. "fine," you sigh, your fingers digging into his hair, pulling him back into a deep kiss. "but you’re gonna make up for this, cheol."
he grins into the kiss, his hands now slipping under your shirt, fingertips brushing over your skin, teasing you. "promise," he breathes out.
you feel your heart racing as his kisses grow more intense, his hands more demanding, and you can’t help but give in. his touch, his words, all of it is pulling you under, and before you know it, you're lost in the moment, hands roaming, bodies pressing together. he pulls away slightly, eyes half-lidded, his lips parted with a soft smirk. "so... can we spend the rest of the day in bed?" he asks, his voice husky with need, his hands still gently gripping you.
you look at him, your heart fluttering, and you can’t help but smile. "maybe," you whisper, your fingers dancing over his chest.
he grins widely, his lips crashing against yours once more, warm and insistent, moving with a desperation that makes your breath hitch. his hands settle on your hips, firm but not forceful, pulling you closer as if even the smallest distance is unbearable.
his tongue brushes against yours, the kiss deepening as his fingers curl under the hem of your shirt, the warmth of his hands sending a shiver up your spine. his grip tightens slightly, grounding you as he tilts his head to kiss you deeper, his teeth grazing your bottom lip in a teasing nip.
“i missed you so much,” he murmurs, his voice low and gravelly, the words vibrating against your lips before he captures them again.
his body presses against yours, his chest firm and steady against the rise and fall of your breath. his kisses trail down, slow and deliberate, tracing a path along your jaw and down to the curve of your neck, where he lingers, his lips hot and deliberate against your skin.
your fingers tangle in his hair, pulling him closer, and he chuckles softly, the sound low and filled with promise.

Player!Chris can’t get enough of Ditsy!Reader …
The water streams down, warm and comforting, a cocoon of safety enveloping you and Chris. Steam fills the small bathroom, swirling around you as droplets cascade down your skin. Chris stands close, his damp hair sticking to his forehead, and his blue eyes are soft as they meet yours. The corners of his mouth lift in a quiet, adoring smile as his hands rest gently on your shoulders.
Chris was just supposed to be over to hang out, but suggested on a shower together which at first you were hesitant to — but agreed to in the end.
“Turn around for me,” he murmurs. You oblige, turning to face the water as his hands move to your back. His touch is light at first, his palms pressing gentle circles into your skin as the spray of water washes over both of you.
“You’re tense,” he comments softly, leaning forward so his lips brush your ear. “Let me help.”
His hands knead your shoulders, gliding down your arms, his thumbs brushing the curves of your body with a reverence that makes you feel cherished. There’s no urgency, no rush, just Chris taking his time, his touch more about grounding you than anything else. He presses a kiss to the back of your neck, his lips soft and lingering, sending a shiver down your spine despite the warmth of the water.
“Better?” he asks, his voice barely audible over the sound of the shower.
You nod, leaning back slightly into his chest, and his arms instinctively wrap around your waist, holding you securely. He turns you back around to face him, his hands staying on your hips as he studies your face with an intensity that makes your cheeks heat. His thumb brushes over your cheekbone, his gaze dropping to your lips.
“You’re beautiful angel,” he says softly, his words sincere and unguarded. Before you can respond, his lips capture yours in a slow kiss. He takes his time, his mouth moving against yours softly. His hands stay firm on your waist, steadying you as he pulls you closer.
The water runs cooler, breaking the moment, and Chris chuckles quietly. “We should get out before we freeze,” he says, grabbing a towel and wrapping it around you with careful hands. He presses a final kiss to your temple, his lips warm against your damp skin. “Come on,” he murmurs. “Let’s get comfortable.”
-
After getting out of the shower you both got dressed. Chris in a pair of black sweat pants without his shirt and you in a plain white t-shirt with some cute shorts.
You had both made your way to the couch. The room quiet, the low hum of the heater filling the silence. Your legs are tucked underneath you, but you’re hyper-aware of the way Chris’ thigh presses against yours. He’s stretched out casually, his arm resting along the back of the couch like he doesn’t have a care in the world, but the way his fingers occasionally brush your shoulder tells a different story.
“So,” Chris starts, a sly grin spreading across his face as he turns to look at you, his blue eyes sparkling with mischief. “You gonna keep staring angel?”
Your cheeks flush immediately, and you shake your head, trying to look anywhere but at him. “I wasn’t staring,” you mumble, though your voice is anything but convincing. Chris chuckles, the sound low and teasing, as he leans in closer. “Uh-huh,” he murmurs, his voice dropping. “Sure you weren’t.”
Before you can come up with a retort, his hand moves to your knee, his thumb brushing slow circles against your skin. The touch is casual — almost innocent — but the heat in his eyes says otherwise. He leans in even closer, his breath warm against your cheek. “Come here,” he says softly.
You hesitate, your heart pounding in your chest, but when he takes your hand and pulls you onto his lap, you don’t resist. Your knees settle on either side of his thighs, your hands instinctively finding his shoulders for balance. His grin widens as he looks up at you, his hands sliding to your waist, holding you steady.
“Good girl,” he murmurs, the teasing edge in his voice making your cheeks burn. “Now, was that so hard?”
“Chris,” you start, your voice trembling slightly, but he doesn’t give you a chance to finish. His lips crash against yours, the kiss hot and demanding, and your thoughts scatter instantly. His hands tighten on your hips, pulling you closer as his mouth moves against yours with practiced ease.
His kiss is everything — confident, skilled, and utterly overwhelming. His tongue brushes against yours, teasing and coaxing, and when you let out a soft whimper, he groans low in his throat. His hands roam your back, one slipping beneath your shirt to press against your bare skin, and it sends shivers down your spine.
“You taste so sweet,” Chris mutters against your lips, his voice rough. His lips leave yours to trail down your neck, his teeth grazing the sensitive skin there. When he sucks gently, his tongue soothing the spot, you gasp softly, your nails digging into his shoulders.
“Chris, wait—” you start, but he pulls back slightly, his blue eyes locking onto yours. His expression softens for a moment, and he tilts his head, his cocky grin replaced by something almost genuine. “You okay?” he asks, his voice quieter now, but there’s still a teasing glint in his eyes. “You can tell me to stop, you know.”
You shake your head quickly, your fingers clutching at his shirt. “No, I don’t want you to stop,” you squeak, your voice barely above a whisper. His grin returns, wider this time, and he presses another kiss to the corner of your mouth. “That’s my girl,” he murmurs before pulling you back into another heated kiss.
This time, his hands guide your hips against his, creating a delicious friction that makes your breath hitch. His grip tightens, and the low groan he lets out when you move against him sends a thrill through you. “You’re killing me, angel,” he mutters, his lips returning to your neck. “You don’t even know what you’re doing to me.”
You squirm slightly in his lap, trying to ease the ache building inside you, and his reaction is immediate. His hands move to your thighs, gripping them tightly as he chuckles darkly against your neck. “Careful,” he warns, though his tone is more amused than serious.
You glance down at him, your cheeks flushed and your heart racing. But, you decided to defy his word — shifting your hips against his growing bulge that you could feel poking you. The awareness of it made you want to move more..it felt so — good.
Chris freezes for a moment, his eyes narrowing slightly as his grin turns wicked. “Oh, you’re trouble, aren’t you?” he says, his hands sliding up your thighs as he shifts beneath you. “Fine. If that’s how you want to play it…”
Before you can process his words, he shifts you in his lap, turning you around so your back is pressed to his chest. His arms wrap around your waist, holding you firmly in place as his lips find the curve of your shoulder. His teeth graze your skin again, his tongue following to soothe the spot as one of his hands slides up your side beneath your shirt.
“Look at you,” he murmurs, his voice low and rough as his fingers trace slow, teasing patterns along your ribs. “So sweet, so perfect…” His other hand rests on your thigh, his thumb brushing circles into your skin as he presses another kiss to your shoulder.
“Chris,” you whisper, your voice trembling as his touch grew bolder.
“You’re okay,” he murmurs, his lips brushing against your neck as he speaks. “I’ve got you, angel. Just let me take care of you.” he groaned against your skin.
You just whined, nodding your head and his hands shifted. One of them grabbing and digging into the flesh of your hip to keep you from moving too much — the other slowly inching to your inner thigh, pulling your legs apart.
You allow your legs fell open on either side of his own. His lips continuing to press kisses along your shoulder and neck, “Tell me to stop..” he whispered, letting his teeth nip you. You gasped, trying to push your hips down against him more.
Chris hissed, taking your reaction as a means to continue. So with a slow hand, he inched it closer, fingertips ghosting against the edge of your sleep shorts before slipping under and finding your clothes clit through your panties.
Chris chuckled as he pushed against the bundle of nerves, eliciting a moan from your lips. He could feel the wet patch under his fingers. “y’already so wet angel — fuuuck..” he said. His chin now resting on your shoulder as he watched his hand move beneath your shorts. Your own head tipped back to rest against his shoulder, eyes closed as your breaths came in pants.
In one swift motion, he slipped his fingers under the fabric of your underwear — trailing his middle finger along your wetness. He grunted as your hips shifted again, moving down to try and grind yourself against the digit. His grip on your hip tightened as he tsked. “Hold still baby.. i’ll give ya what y’want don’t worry.” he muttered before slipping the digit into your warm walls.
Your back arched, bowing away from his chest as one of your hands gripped at his arm — a small crying escaping your swollen plump lips. Chris chuckled, slowly moving his finger as he encouraged you to lay back against his chest once more. The pace he set was agonizing, you wanted more..needed more.
“C-chris please-“ your words were cut off as he curled his fingers up, hitting that spongy spot just right. You gasped, the sound tampering off into a high pitched moan as your walls squeezed around his finger. Chris hummed, tilting his head and smirking against your skin as his eyes still stayed trained on where his hand disappeared.
“Feel good angel?” he asked, slowly retreating his finger before slipping two digits back in once more. “Mhm!” was all you got out as he curled his fingers again. It was slow — so slow. “Pl-please chris… faster.” you whined, grinding your hips down once more despite his grip on you.
You really could t stay still.
Chris sighed, shifting his hips up in a slow grind against your ass. “Yeah..yeah, i know baby shh.” he cooed, his fingers now picking up speed at your request.
The speed change made you sigh, but it quickly turned into little gasps and moans as his fingers continued to curl up. Your head tipped back again, resting on his shoulder as your face turned to his. You panted, your chest rising and falling rapidly as your legs tried to close around his hand. The hand on your hip left, coming up to grip your jaw as Chris turned his face to yours.
He grinned before smashing your lips together — it was all teeth and tongue, heated and desperate. His fingers never slowed their pace, abusing your poor hole. “C’mon pretty, keep ‘em open f’me yeah?” he muttered against your lips. And you obliged the best you could, keeping them open even as they threatened to close every so often.
Chris’ movements against your ass didn’t slow, feeling himself getting close to his own release. He moaned into the kiss, his fingers pushing a little deeper, causing you to squeak against his lips. You pulled away from the kiss, taking a few deep breaths — and Chris watched you. Your flushed and fucked out expression and swollen lips were absolutely beautiful to him
But before long, you were already leaning back forward, capturing his lips in another searing kiss. He could feel your walls clenching around his fingers rapidly, your moans growing higher in pitch as you tried to keep your lips against his.
“y’gonna cum angel? gonna make a mess all over my fingers, hm?” he mumbled against your lips, and you nodded. The knot in your stomach growing tighter and tighter with each thrust of his digits.
With a few more thrusts of his fingers, the knot came undone — the waves of pleasure washing through you so suddenly. You pulled away from his lips, throwing your head back as your back arched — releasing all over his fingers.
“yeahh that’s it baby, fuuck.” he gritted out, his hips stopping their grinding as he spilled into his boxers. Your own hips moving down on his fingers as he slowed them, riding out your high.
Chris stopped his fingers once you whined at the overstimulated feeling, and he slowly retreated his hand, moving your panties back into their rightful place. He brought his hand up, digits glistening with your release and brought them to his lips.
Your eyes widened as you watched him suck them clean, releasing them with a soft ‘pop’ before turning his gaze to you. He leaned forward, placing a soft kiss on your puffy lips. You could taste yourself.
Chris leaned back. “y’feeling okay angel?” he asked, shifting you around until you were laying more comfortably in his lap. And you nodded, humming softly as you stared up at him.
“I think..we may need another shower.” you admit. Chris laughed, “yeah — yeah i think we do. here c’mon.” he said, gently shifting you onto the couch as he stood up, leaning down to scooping you into his arms before walking off toward your shower — again.

(Same I feel it) I hope this does you justice!!!
Arcane Imagines- Ekko
Quicker
[arcane] [main page]
Prompt: Ekko has a whole plan and date set up to say I love you.
“[Name], come with me.” Your boyfriend grasps your hand, taking you away from whatever you were just doing. “What- Ekko!” You laugh out, trying to keep up with his pace. “I need to show you something.” Is all he responds with, pulling you forward. “Okay, okay, my legs are starting to hurt.” You pant, squeezing his hand for dear life.
“Just a little longer, I’m sorry.” He squeezes back, jumping over a large pipe in the alleyway, you barely get over it yourself, tripping. He lifts you up by your armpits, keeping you moving. “Shit, Ekko, I need a second!” You squeal out, now going down hill. “Almost there, pretty.” He shakes his head, he shakes his arm around your waist. “Here, here.” He makes a sharp turn, you almost cause the both of you to fall when he does an abrupt halt. “Oh my gosh.” You murmur.
You hunch over, grabbing your knees and coughing so you can catch your breath. “Was that necessary?” You huff, looking up at him from your side view. He laughs, crouching down with his hand on your back. “Sorry, just look up.” He pinches your chin in between his index and thumb, forcing your head to look forward. You tiredly lift your body back up, leaning on Ekko.
“What am I- Oh…” You suddenly perk up, letting go of your partner, walking forward. “You make all this?” You twirl around the room full of paintings, lights set up with a miniature table, two pillows on either side. “I had a little help.” He scratches the back of his head, footsteps come towards the both of you. Your eyes widened in fear, going straight to Ekko with a defensive stance who chuckled. “Don’t worry, it's a friend.” He whispers.
“Heyy, [Name] wasn’t it?” A pink-haired girl comes into view and your jaw slacks. It was Vi. When you met her you were very impressed. Admiring her even. Immediately wanting to be her friend even though Ekko was quite pissed with her at the time. You kept making jokes with her the entire time. “Vi!” You go over to her and you guys give each other a side hug. “You helped him with all this?” You do a little finger motion. She chuckles. “I practically set everything up. He made all the paintings though.” She slings her arm over your shoulders as you admire their shared work.
“What’s this for?” You question. “Oh, you know…” Ekko nervously chuckles. “He’s so whipped, that’s why.” Vi whispers. Ekko glares at her. “I know right, his mind is quite literally plagued by me.” You mutter back to the older girl who bursts out laughing.
“He talks about you every time I see him. So I can confirm.” Vi goes over to Ekko, punching his shoulder. His eyebrows furrowed angrily. “You can leave now.” He shoves the pink-haired girl away from him. She only snickers in response. “I think he wants me to leave.”
“You think so?” He sarcastically asks, hands on his hips dramatically. “Alright, alright. If he’s too annoying just call out for me.” Vi winks your way and you excitedly nod your head while giggling. “Bye! It was nice seeing you again!” You wave her off, her figure going back into the shadows.
Ekko just stands there, lips pressed together. Embarrassed by his old friend who just made fun of him with his girlfriend. “Oh my gosh! This is so cute!!!” You squeal, running over to a painting of the both of you pressing foreheads. “I love this one.” You mutter, picking it up to admire it better.
“It’s a favorite for sure.” Ekko comes up behind you, kissing your shoulder.
“I’m stealing this. It’s going in my room.” You place it back down so you can turn around and attack him into a bunch of face kisses. He holds your waist, letting you do as you pleased with his face. “You ready to eat?” He asks once you stop kissing him. “Oh, right. Yes!”
He leads you over to the little dining area, you sit down and then he takes the top off of the dish before sitting down himself. It uncovers your favorite food. You let out a gasp. “You’re amazing!” You grin ear to ear, lifting your fork automatically at the sight of the wonderful grub in front of you.
He watches your mouth water, digging into it. He admires you sweetly, not picking up the fork for himself. As you stuff the food in your mouth you notice that. “Wha ar you thoin?” You speak with some of the food dripping out of your mouth. He winces but smiles at you. “Staring at you.” He points to his eyes before widening them, leaning closer to you. You swallow your food. “Creep.”
He places a hand on his heart. “Yeowch.” He pouts his lips out. “I’m just kidding, give me your hand I want to be romantic.” You stick your hand out over the table and he just snorts at you. Giving you his hand and you clamp down on it. “You are so perfect.” You tell him with a straight face, his cheeks heat up at your words. “And I love you.” You breathe out.
You guys haven’t said it to one another yet. His face falls from your confession. That was literally the whole point of tonight because he wanted to say it first. His silence scares you so you go to let go of his hand but he doesn’t let you. His face seemingly in shock.
“You… okay?” You wave your other hand in his face. He closes his eyes, taking a deep breath. “Babe.” He sighs, head falling down.
“Should I not have said it?” You worriedly ask. “No, no.” He shakes his head. “I mean maybe? No, the answer is yes you should have but no because that’s the whole point of this set up! I had a whole speech prepared!” He exclaims, throwing his empty hand in the air, expressing his distress.
Your mouth goes into the shape of an ‘o’ as he groans. “I can’t believe you beat me to it.” He frowns. “I can pretend I didn’t say it. Go ahead. Say your speech.” You sit up straighter going to eat your food and act like you didn’t say you loved him. “You can’t go back in time now! You already said it.” He snickers.
“Sorwy, I weally din’t knoow!” You express regret with the food in your mouth once again while you talk.
“It’s okay, I promise. I’ll still say the speech if you want to hear it.” He gives you a small smile.
You nod your head eagerly. Gripping his hand tighter.
He pulls out a wrinkled piece of paper. Straightening it out on the table, and clearing his throat before he begins.
“[Name], it’s been 6 months of dating you, but not 6 months of loving you.” He glances up at me with a smirk as I lean in closer when he continues talking. “I’ve loved you since you accidentally ran into that pole, distracted by us staring at one another.” You flinch at the memory, feeling the pain in your forehead and nose. “I’ve loved you since you told me all about your passionate love for helping others and wanting to join me and the fireflies. I’ve loved you since you confessed to me. That’s why I wanted to say I love you first.” He coughs at the end of that, playfully scowling at me. You put your hand up in defense. “So, I love you.” He crumples the letter, throwing it beside you as tears well in your eyes. “Awe, Ekko.” You take the piece of paper, stuffing it in your pocket.
“I beat you once again.” You maneuver around the table and sit in his lap. “Yeah, yeah.” He rolls his eyes. “Gotta be quicker.” You simply shrug, leaning against his chest, playing with his hand.

ᡣ𐭩 •。ꪆৎ ˚⋅ (🍡) giggles
Pairing - megan skiendiel x 7th member!reader
Synopsis - a deeper look at the three memorable moments a dedicated fan calls out where y/n and megan seemed more than friends
i.
“We are so gonna' get her!” Megan squeals; she jumps up and down a bit, causing the phone in her hands that is showcasing the image to get a bit shaky. She clenches the phone tightly, hiding about in a dark room, pointing it toward a closed front door.
“Don’t spoil it,” Daniella is close to chime in besides her, as it can be inferred from the hushed whispers and breaths that a few of the girls are congregating behind the view of the camera.
“Megan, be quiet!” Lara adds, nudging her shoulder so that the camera does a little jostle. “They are going to be back soon, and it will not be as fun if they hear us.”
“I know, I know." She sighs, quieting her voice at the end as if a little exasperated. “I just want n/n to have a special surprise,” the girl mumbles out, taking a few steps away from the door.
“She will,” Sophia quips. “They should be here any minute now.” All of the present girls become totally mute, listening in on the soft footsteps as they begin to clammer up the steps. Quickly, the steps strengthen in their sound, alerting the girls that you and Yoonchae are just about there. Listening, you can be heard complaining about forgetting lipgloss behind the door before it's swung open and the bright light of a switch turning, illuminating the video that the phone was trying to capture.
“Surprise!” the girls cheered, Megan's voice clearly outdoing the other girls as she did a few little jumps up and down, shaking up the camera once again in pure excitement.
“Oh my goodness!” you gasp, hands covering your mouth as you look at the girls showcasing a wrapped-up bundle in the middle of the table. “What is this for? It is not my birthday,” you laugh a little, walking forward to take a better look.
“It is that newly released book series you were trying to buy.” Megan's voice is chirpy on the other side, rushing over while loosely holding the phone in one hand, the angle turning downward towards the floor for a few moments. “I got it in time; look, I even found a funny sticker of our favorite meme included.”
“This is so kind,” you respond, Megan stabilizing the camera onto you as you bend over to get a better look at the bundle, which is tied together with a bright pink bow and sticker tucked beneath on top. “Megan,” your eyes are wide, glistening a little with a liquid substance before wrapping your arms tightly around the girl. “This is so sweet,” you mumble into her shoulder with the phone angle now dark due to Megan's arm now being wrapped around your back.
“You deserve it,” the girl softly comments, almost barely audible during the video. "I know how much you were looking forward to it."
"It's crazy you remembered and got it before it sold out!"
"It was worth it."
“She did not do everything!” Lara speaks up in the background, some of the girls laughing at her response. The camera is brought back into light as Megan and you separate from the hug. “What! Me and Dani did find the bow!” she continues, gesturing to her and the other girl, who is back to being visible on the camera.
You make your way over to the two forementioned girls, scoping them up into a hug before turning your attentions onto the other two.
“Manon would of liked to be here, but the sleep was calling to her,” Dani giggles.
“I understand,” you nod, putting on a little expression before chuckling alongside the girls. “It looks like I won’t be like Manon tonight though,” you pick up the stack of books, admiring the decked-out cover with an intricate design and satisfying texture.
“No, no,” Sophia steps into view, teasingly taking the books away from you. “We have a big day tomorrow, and you need your rest!”
“Mommy Sofia,” Lara teases, holding out the first name as the girl sends her a look.
“Sofia is mother,” Yoonchae quips very calmly and seriously, forgetting to add in the words 'like a' in between, causing boisterous noise to erupt as the girls laugh at her mere nonchalance of the statement.
“You heard it here.” Dani turns towards the camera, stepping fully into the frame. “Sophia is a mami herself.”
“Hey now!” Sophia pushes the girl lightly to the side to get into view. “How did this get turned onto me?"
“Right, its supposed to be about Y/n,” Megan adds in, sneaking one hand in front of the camera to pull onto your arm and bring you into view. “She-she’s our ma-” and before the girl can even finish with her little joke, a roar is heard, cutting off any other noise in the video. It is clear that Megan is dying at her own joke while your hands reach up to cover your heating cheeks in embarrassment before reaching out to take hold of the phone and switch the angle onto Megan, who is doubling over at her own unfinished joke.
“Oh my gosh, Megan!” Lara points over at the girl, who is almost hyperventilating at her own joke.
“Megan breathe!” Dani chirps.
“I-I can't; it-it’s too funny!”
ii.
“We are so lucky to have all of the ladies of Katseye today on K interviews for Tune or Snooze! This is a game where you either get to tune into the juicy questions or choose to snooze and take on a task blindfolded!” the announcer yelled from the side of you. He had his hair freshly slicked back, very gelled up, and pretty casual wear with an overexaggerated smile on his face. With the mention of secrets being spilled, your eyes immediately darted towards Megan, who was three people away from you, and the girl pursed her bottom lip up and widened her eyes for her own exaggerated fearful expression.
“We are so ready,” Manon chirped up, laughing at her side with Dani as you all awaited the next mention of the game.
“Great ladies,” He walked over towards the back of the line, where Lara stood suspiciously eying the narrator up and down. The large camera followed along his moments before zeroing into Lara. “So, Lara, are you going to start us off and tune in or hit the snooze?”
“Oh wow,” she mumbled to herself, looking back at her fellow groupmates. Taking a quick nervous scratch at her cheek, she turned back. “Tune.”
Cheers erupted in the background of the episode as there was a little party music entering in before being erased and the narrator becokend for Lara to move up closer. “Alright, since this is the first time for you girls, we want to start off simple. Lara,” he faced her as they both stood directly in front of the camera, and the rest of you girls stood watching in the back. “What color do you see yourself dying your hair next?”
“That is not too bad of a question,” she chuckled before another laugh track entered. “I would say purple; I have seen some of the Eyekons online, and I think it could be pretty hot.”
“Very nice, very nice. Alright, moving onto Sophia, come on up here!”
"Alright, I am ready," she stuck up two confident thumbs up before brushing the dark locks behind her shoulders.
"That's the attitude!" He reached down into his pocket for a new card and let silence creep in before continuing on. "Sophia, are you ready to tune into the serenade or snooze through the fun?"
"I am prepared to tune in!" she smiled confidently.
"How great! Now the questions are going to pick up a little bit. Which of the girls is the worst to bunk with?"
"I apologize beforehand," she turns back to look over at where Manon is standing, rolling her eyes. "But everyone knows she is a bit loud..." the camera zeros in at Sophia's response, focusing more onto Manon's face as she begins to speak up and argue.
"That is so not fair, especially when Dani is-" but the girl is not able to finish her sentence as the blonde now cuts in with her own comment. Many of the girls begin to speak up, lightly arguing over one another as they discuss who is the worst to share a room with.
"Manon," the speaker raises his voice, thus cutting off all of the voices of your groupmates. "Would you like to share your side?"
"Thank you," she hums, stepping up forward where Sophia is and sending her a little pretend stink eye. "There was one live where I may have screamed a bit too loud at a hotel, and Sophia will not let me live it down."
"There were other times as well," Sophia mumbles, looking away from her friend.
"When?" Manon fires back with such intensity before the host cuts through the heat and gestures everyone back to go ahead and question the next girl.
As the rest of the girls answer questions, they are fairly similar to those of Sophia's, questioning which girl resembles the sentence the most. Though Manon and Daniella dodge these questions by choosing the'snooze' option and offering up for silly tasks with a blindfold. Eventually, it hits the end of the line where you stand with hands crossed behind your back and a slight movement from putting your weight onto one foot and then the other.
"Y/n, get up here!" the host cheers.
Before walking up to him, you took a quick glance over at Megan, almost a little fearful as you soon enough began to pick a little at the fabric of your shirt in a type of nervous habit. Slow steps guided you up to the man who was sweating in the bright scene lights. Luckily, there was gentle encouragement from your friends as you tried to take a more confident stance besides him.
“Hi,” you spoke out quietly, causing another laugh track to be snuck into the segment.
“So, Y/n, are you ready to tune or snooze?”
“I think I will tune,” you nod gently towards the producer.
“Another tune, play the music!” and at his mention, a chirpy pop song slips out of the speakers around. “Y/n, who is your favorite member?”
“Oh wow!” you gasp at the question, taking a small step away. “That is way different than Lara’s. Can I now choose snooze?” and once again the laughtrack commences as your eyes look scarily wide when peering between the host and the girls behind. The host shakes his head as 'No' to your question, and it is clear that you pause for a moment while looking back, almost as if staring directly at another girl who is sending you a gentle smile. “Megan.”
“What?” There is uproar behind you as the girls argue about what they do and how it was too simple of you to say.
“We-Well obviously, I love all the girls!” You sputter in response, trying to catch yourself and bring yourself back to the attention of the camera. “Megan and I just spend a lot of time together, and she is always being so goofy. I have never laughed as much as I have with her.” You continue raising your voice over the girls in an attempt to explain your slip-up. “But with all of the girls, it is a different type of love, so it truly is impossible to choose a favorite.”
“What do you mean?” the host prys.
“Just that each girl has their own special characteristic that changes the way our relationships are. Everyone apart of Katseye is so unique and so special I feel like they are my sisters. Megan was just the first to come to mind; I have no favorite. That’s all! Really!” You wave your hands around, trying to calm down the amped-up nature of the questions. “This was a huge jump from Lara’s question."
iii.
“What necklace is Y/n wearing?” Manon reads aloud alongside you. She’s been answering different questions and blabbing on about different fashion choices she has made for well over an hour, but within the recent ten minutes, you’ve decided to join her on the live. “Well, Y/n, what necklace are you wearing?” She turns over to you with a peering eye. “Should we do a fit check?” she turns back towards the camera, eyes glistening at the idea.
“I don’t think the necklace I am wearing is anything fancy,” you shrug your shoulders, reaching underneath your shirt to pull up the multiple chains that adore your neck. Dragging your thumb and pointer finger along the chains you feel for the thinnest one before pulling it forward to stand about the others. “This one is what I got when we were in Korea for Dream Academy, actually.”
“Wait, really, let me see." Manon goes from reading the overprodding comments to turning her torso in front of the camera—blocking the view—and peering closely at the necklaces. “Wait, that is actually kind of cute," she says as she moves back in front of the camera. “I have been helping Y/n with her fashion as it is something she is lacking.”
“Wait, I don’t dress that bad!” You try to defend yourself, and Manon catches your attention as she giggles at your side at one of the comments that appeared on the stream.
“Yes, indeed, thank God for stylists.” You shove her shoulder at the comment, crossing your arms and putting on an annoyed look. “Hey, hey, don’t be all grumpy now.”
“I am getting better,” you add with a slight overexaggerated pout, trying to showcase faux hurt.
“Of course you are!” She laughs to herself before the door peeks open and a certain orange-haired girl plops down beside you.
“What happened?” She looks genuinely concerned as she takes in your look and pulls you into her side. “Y/n?”
“Megan,” you peek your head up, faces fiercely close near one another. “Do you think I have bad style?”
“No, no,” she shakes her head, her lips turning up into a silly smile with her pearly whites shining beautifully. “You have me helping you now!” she exclaims, laughing a bit herself. “I mean, remember when you were into those one jeans?”
"Oh, stop, not those!” Manon chimes in. “Eyekons, it was bad,” her eyes widen as she tries to dramatize the situation.
“Traitor!” you declare, pushing yourself away from Megan's grip, a grip that tends to tighten just a bit before fully letting you go. “I need to defend myself to the Eyekons that they are lying! And I feel we all have a favorite pair of jeans that are just classic! Like vintage aesthetic?”
“More like antique,” Manon chides. “But you are better. Anyway, finish showing off your necklaces.”
“Oh yeah,” your cheery expression is plastered back on as you reach for the second chain around your neck, the curled darker shape of the charm now being shown in the view of the watchers. “This is a matching necklace that Megan and I have. I am Yin, and she has Yang, kind of showing how close and interconnected we are.” You proudly show off the necklace, moving your body closer to the camera as so to give off a better look.
“It was important that we get something,” Megan chimes up from the back as your charm is taking up the view. “It took us forever, but this is perfect, especially since it is a Chinese philosophy; it was something my mom recommended.”
“When Megan was dealing with her back, I missed her a bunch!” You take a seat back besides the girl, kindly looking over at her before lying your head on her shoulder. The forementioned girl's cheeks light up a little as she looks down at your image. “This was a nice reminder—along with my photocard I keep hanging on my purse of her—that she was with us in those fun moments.”
“Y/n was crazy with that photocard, and then also that stuffie that Megan got you. She had to take those everywhere and looked insane taking a photo of a plush teapot and photocard at all the places we went,” Manon blabbed on reminiscing on the memories of when Megan was unfortunately recovering. “Oh, someone asked why a teacup. For the new Eyekons, we all have charms, as mine is a tiara, Megan has a cherry, and Y/n’s a teapot.”
“I want to clarify; I was not crazy about it,” you point out, shoving Manon a little in the shoulder once again. “I just missed her.”
“The pictures were cute!” Megan cheered, shaking your shoulder a bit to showcase her excitement and appreciation. “The idea of her setting up that plush teapot and super silly photo of me in those different settings made me laugh so hard—especially when she would complain about the comments Dani made or weird looks she got from strangers. I definitely would not have gotten the same amount of laughs without Y/n.”
“Oh, Megan, someone asked if you have a plush of a cherry?”
“I do; I have a jellycat that Y/n had got me.”
“They have too many matching things like that,” Manon rolled her eyes.
“You can’t talk; you and Dani have matching rings!” Megan fired back, and the Ghanaian girl just shook her head and tsked at the red-hair’s comment.
"You both are very cringe, not sigma alpha," she spoke very seriously, bringing up her pointer finger and wagging it side to side in a upset nature. Though her facade was quickly erased as loud laughs flooded out of her mouth with the two of you joining quickly along.

[32] ENOUGH
warnings: therapy sessions, overwhelming emotions, family conflict, intense feelings of isolation and public scrutiny.
JULY 2018
the therapist’s office felt too bright, almost too sterile, with white walls that seemed to reflect every thought jennie was trying to push down. she sat on the edge of a plush couch, her hands folded tightly in her lap, the weight of her secret pressing harder than ever. she couldn’t even look at the therapist—some stranger who was supposed to help her sort through the mess of emotions she couldn’t afford to acknowledge.
jennie had agreed to come here because her manager insisted. it wasn’t for her, though—it was for the image. “you’re under a lot of pressure, jennie. it’s okay to talk about it,” they had nagged. but she wasn’t here for herself. she was here because someone had told her to be. across from her, the therapist—a woman in her late 40s with kind eyes—sat quietly, her notepad resting on her lap. she wasn’t asking anything intrusive yet, only waiting for jennie to open up.
but she couldn’t.
“jennie,” the therapist smiled, her voice warm and steady, “i understand that things have been moving very fast for you since your debut. how are you feeling about everything that’s happening right now?” the idol stiffened at the mention of blackpink. the group’s rise to fame had been overwhelming, every step met with more pressure, more eyes on her. she wanted to say something, but the words felt trapped in her throat. this wasn’t about being a star—it was about the other part of her life, the one she had to keep hidden.
"everything’s fine," jennie replied, her voice flat, distant. "it’s just a lot to handle sometimes." the therapist simply nodded, her expression calm. "i can imagine. you’re balancing so much. what’s been the hardest part for you?"
jennie’s mind raced. the hardest part? where could she even begin? she was living a double life, caught between the woman the world saw and the woman she had to hide. she was expected to be jennie kim, the idol, the one who smiled for the cameras and smiled through the pain. but what the cameras didn’t know was that there was another life—a life she couldn’t talk about. the one where she was a mother.
her chest tightened as the thought crossed her mind. her daughter. her ivory. her baby girl, who she had to keep from the world. no one can know. no one could ever know.
the secrecy suffocated her.
"i’m just tired," the rapper replied, her voice barely above a whisper. “all the time, it feels like i’m pretending. i’m not allowed to be real. there’s always this pressure to be perfect. to be this person for everyone, but no one knows the real me.”
the therapist leaned in slightly, sensing the vulnerability behind the idol’s words. “that sounds really exhausting. can you tell me more about what you mean by ‘pretending’?” jennie let out a breath, but no words came. she didn’t know where to start. how could she explain the tension in her chest, the constant guilt, the way her heart ached every time she had to leave her daughter behind? she couldn’t even say she was a mother. she had to keep that part of herself locked away.
“it just all feels fake.” the idol had answered, her voice tinged with a frustration she couldn’t quite name. “like everyone wants me to be this one thing. they expect me to be perfect all the time. it’s like i have to be this persona, and if i show any cracks, everything will fall apart.”
jennie’s slender fingers gripped the edge of the couch, her knuckles shades of her daughter’s name from the pressure. she didn’t dare look at the therapist, afraid that if she did, she might reveal too much. she had to hold herself together—even here, she had to be jennie kim, the image the world adored, the person they thought they knew.
the therapist, quiet and patient, let the silence stretch between them. she understood—jennie didn’t need advice or platitudes right now. she needed someone to hear her, someone to acknowledge the struggle that came with the life she had chosen.
the idol finally spoke again after a few beats of silence, her words a soft confession, her voice breaking slightly with the weight of what she wasn’t saying. “there’s always someone who wants something from me. always someone who wants to use me. nothing feels real, nothing feels genuine.”
the therapist nodded slowly, leaning back into her leather chair but maintaining her focus. “that sounds incredibly isolating. to feel like you have to keep everything locked inside, and not be able to share your true self with anyone.”
the idol’s gaze dropped to her hands, now fidgeting nervously. she didn’t want to share her true self. she couldn’t share it. she couldn’t risk it. the truth, the part of her that was real, wasn’t something the world could ever accept.
it was too dangerous. too fragile.
“i don’t know who i’m supposed to be anymore,” jennie whispered, her voice barely audible. “i don’t know how to be everything they want me to be. and still be me.”
there was a pause, and the therapist gave her the space to gather her thoughts, even if the words felt impossible to say. jennie had spent so many months—years, really—burying parts of herself. she couldn’t even let herself believe she could be anything other than the image she had crafted. even now, sitting in a therapist's office, she couldn’t speak the truth about who she was beneath all the layers.
the therapist spoke again, her voice quiet but insistent. “well, it sounds like you're carrying a heavy burden. you don’t have to bear it alone. is there anyone in your life who makes you feel seen? someone who knows the real you?”
jennie wanted to laugh in her face and just walk out the door, the absurdity of the question hitting her like ice in her veins. who could ever understand this? who could understand her?
her eyes flicked to the woman who sat waiting, her gentle expression a stark contrast to the ocean of thoughts drowning in the idol's mind. the question had unintentionally struck a nerve. of course, there was no one. not in the way the therapist meant.
no one could understand the weight of the mask jennie had to wear. no one could see past the glossy surface of the public persona, the polished image that was expected of her. and even if someone tried to see me, would they even care?
jennie’s fingers curled tighter around the fabric of her jacket. “no,” she said, the word escaping her like a cold, sharp breath. “no one knows me. not really.”
she didn’t even believe it herself. not completely. it was easier to lie, easier to convince herself that she was better off this way—alone in her truth, because the alternative was too terrifying. to be seen, to be known by anyone, meant the possibility of being rejected, of being abandoned by the very people who adored the version of her they had created in their minds.
the therapist sat back a little, not pushing her further, but giving jennie the space to breathe, to consider her words. the silence in the room felt heavy now, almost suffocating.
the idol cleared her throat, fighting back the lump in her throat. her gaze dropped to her hands, which were twisting and folding in her lap, betraying her anxiety. she had to get out of here. she had to escape from this room, from the vulnerability that was creeping in, inch by inch.
“i don’t know how to be me,” jennie muttered under her breath, the words barely audible. “i don’t even know who that is anymore.”
as if on queue, the timer went off, signaling the end of their time together. jennie felt a rush of relief surge through her chest. it was as if the weight she’d been carrying for the past hour finally lifted, and for the first time that day, she could breathe. she didn’t even bother with pleasantries as she stood up. "thank you," she muttered almost automatically, her voice a little hoarse. she wasn’t sure if it was gratitude or just a desperate need to escape the room, but either way, she was out of there as soon as the words left her lips.
as she hurried down the hallway to the parking lot, the rest of the world seemed to fade into a dull hum. she didn’t want to think about the things they’d discussed. she didn’t want to process the way the conversation had unraveled parts of her she wasn’t ready to face. all she wanted was to be home, to be with ivory. the little girl who somehow made everything feel right, even if only for a while.
when she stepped through the door, jieun was there, but jennie barely spared her a glance. her mind was already on ivory. her heart, which had been tight all through the session, began to loosen at the thought of holding her daughter.
“i’ll be with her,” the idol said quietly, her tone flat. jieun, sensing her need for space, gave a soft nod and stepped back, leaving her daughter to retreat into the quiet of their home.
jennie’s pace quickened as she made her way down the hallway. she opened the door to ivory’s room softly, and there the little girl was, sitting on her little rug, her tiny hands putting bows on kuma. at the sight of her, the idol felt the first wave of peace she’d had all day.
ivory looked up and saw her mother, her brown eyes lighting up with pure, unfiltered joy. “mommy?” she said in surprise, her head tilting to the side, a grin spreading across her face.
the idol’s own face softened, though there was a tightness still lingering in her chest. she didn’t answer with words. instead, she moved to the floor and immediately pulled ivory into her arms, her heartbeat slowing as she pressed her daughter against her. jane’s little body fit perfectly in jennie’s arms, a familiar weight she could never grow tired of.
they didn’t need to talk. jennie didn’t want to talk. there was no need for anything else at that moment. she just needed to hold her daughter, to feel her warm breath against her neck, to know that, for a little while, she didn’t have to be anything other than here.
jane nestled against her, sighing contentedly, her small hands reaching up to trace her mother’s face, as though memorizing the shape of it. jennie closed her eyes, breathing in the scent of baby lotion and something uniquely ivory.
for a while, the room was quiet, the only sound was the soft rhythm of their breathing. ivory shifted in her mother’s arms, her face nuzzling into jennie’s shoulder, and jennie tightened her hold, as if trying to shield her from everything—everything outside of this room, outside of this moment.
it didn’t matter that the world was still waiting for her, that the pressures, the expectations, the fear—everything—was still looming. in this little bubble, with her daughter in her arms, none of that mattered. she could almost forget it all.
she could just be jennie, the mother. the most important title in her life.
as the hours slipped by, the idol found herself reluctant to move, reluctant to even speak. she just wanted to stay like this, to hold her daughter close and pretend that the rest of the world didn’t exist. the way ivory’s tiny fingers curled into her sleeve, the way she let out soft giggles as jennie kissed her head, made her heart swell.
and for that fleeting moment, that brief escape from everything else, jennie allowed herself to believe that this was enough.
—
OCTOBER 2025
the office space was painted in dark, muted colors, the kind designed to be calming. dark blues and greens lined the walls, interrupted only by a row of shelves filled with books and puzzles. a small table in the corner held crayons and coloring sheets, their cheerful appearance clashing with the suffocating weight jane felt pressing against her tiny chest.
she didn’t want to be here. the only reason she agreed was because jennie had asked her to. however, ivory was starting to question why in the world she agreed to it.
the therapist was a kind-looking woman with dark eyes and a soothing voice. she sat across from her, the wall behind her littered with framed awards and certifications. ivory couldn’t remember her name—ms. something—but it didn’t matter. the woman was just another stranger, someone who didn’t understand.
“hi, jane,” she said, her voice warm like honey. she opened one of her notepads and grabbed a sleek looking pen from her drawer. “it’s so nice to meet you. your grandma and your mom told me a lot about you.”
the eleven year old glanced at the therapist in slight annoyance, then quickly averted her gaze to the patterned rug beneath her shoes. it felt safer to stare there, at the swirling blues and whites, than to meet the woman’s kind, probing eyes.
she didn’t want to be here. matter of fact, she had no idea why both her grandmother and mother thought this was a good idea. the therapist paused for a beat, giving her space, then continued.
“they said you’ve been feeling a little sad lately. that you’ve been missing your mom a lot when she’s away. is that true?”
jane’s fingers gripped the hem of her grey oversized sweater. it was a gift from her mother. a one of one vintage designer piece. she didn’t remember exactly what brand, all she cared about was that it was from her mom. she wanted to laugh at the question, to stand up and just walk out already.
of course she missed her. she missed her every single day that jennie was gone, every moment she had to pretend she was like every other kid when her life was anything but.
but how could she explain it? how could she look at this stranger and tell her the truth? that her mom wasn’t just some busy woman working long hours, but jennie kim—the jennie kim? that her absence wasn’t just because of an ordinary job, but because of cameras and flashing lights and a career that consumed her whole world?
so she stayed quiet.
the therapist tilted her head slightly, her expression patient and encouraging. “it’s okay if it’s hard to talk about. you don’t have to say anything if you’re not ready.”
the young girl’s throat tightened as the therapist’s words hung in the air. she clenched her jaw and stared harder at the patterned rug, as if the swirling shapes could somehow anchor her, stop the storm of emotions from bubbling over.
the room was too quiet. the kind of quiet that made everything feel louder—the hum of the air conditioning, the subtle creak of the chair as she shifted, even her own heartbeat pounding in her ears.
“i…” jane started, her voice barely a whisper. but the words caught in her throat. she could feel the therapist’s eyes on her, gentle but expectant, like she was waiting for her to find the words to continue.
the silence stretched on, unbearable. her slender fingers twisted the hem of her sweater tighter, the soft fabric biting into her palms. she thought of her mom—her amazing, beautiful mom—smiling at her from the screen, her voice like sunshine when she called from some faraway hotel room. jane hated how much she craved those moments, the rare ones where her mother felt like just her mother.
but they weren’t alone moments. not really. there were always fans, schedules, cameras. always someone else demanding a piece of her mom.
jane swallowed hard. she couldn’t say any of that. couldn’t say how much it hurt to share her mom with the world. to feel like she was competing with millions of strangers for her attention.
“i’m fine.” the young kim whispered, giving a firm nod of her head. the therapist didn’t react right away. she just nodded in reply, her smile small and understanding, like she knew the young girl wasn’t fine but wouldn’t push her to admit it.
“sometimes it helps to draw or write about how you’re feeling,” she said, sliding a blank sheet of paper and a box of crayons across the table. “no one has to see it. it’s just for you.”
jane’s eyes flicked to the paper. her hands didn’t move. she hated how everyone kept asking her to “express her feelings” like it would magically fix everything. the young girl gave the therapist a look, one that definitely meant jane knew what the older woman was trying to do. when the therapist realized the girl wasn’t going to take the bait, she leaned back slightly.
“do you want to tell me about your mom?”
that question hit harder than it should have. jane’s chest tightened, and her lips pressed into a thin line. “what about her?” she finally scoffed, her voice a bit sharper than she intended to. she could feel the irritation bubbling up inside her, the urge to push back, to defend the one part of her life that was supposed to be her own. as if this therapist even knew who her mother was. jane could already call it from a mile away—the polite, clinical smile on the woman’s face, the soft, empathetic tone.
but it was all fake, wasn’t it?
jennie had probably used one of her four (and yes, she had counted) fake names when signing jane up for this session. four. because there was no way anyone could know who jennie kim really was—not even a therapist. not in a place like this. not in this life jane had to pretend to lead.
the therapist, not flinching at the sudden shift in jane’s tone, asked again, “what’s she like?”
it was a loaded question, at least to the young girl it was. what was jennie kim like? to the world, she was untouchable—charismatic, talented, adored by millions. she was the kind of person people wrote songs about, the kind of person who could command a room with just a glance. but to ivory, jennie was a puzzle, one she couldn’t quite figure out.
her mom, who could light up her entire world in one moment and then disappear from it the next.
she thought of the sweater she was wearing, the way her mother had handed it to her with a bright smile, saying, “this reminded me of you.” she thought of the lullabies jennie used to sing when she was younger, of the way her mom’s hugs felt like the safest place in the world.
but she also thought of the canceled birthdays, the missed school plays, the empty chair at dinner. she thought of how every time jennie said, “i’ll be home soon,” jane stopped believing it a little more.
ivory’s throat burned, feeling like shards of glass in her windpipe. she hesitated, her voice trembling a bit more than she had planned.
“she’s busy.”
the therapist’s head tilted slightly, her expression softening. “that must be hard. when someone you care about is busy a lot.”
jane felt the lump in her throat grow, the tightness in her chest spreading like a burning wildfire. she wanted to scream at the woman to stop, to leave her alone, to stop digging at things she didn’t want to talk about. but instead, she forced her voice to stay steady. “i’m used to it.”
the therapist paused, watching her carefully. “you must be very strong to handle that,” she said gently.
jane’s hands relaxed slightly at the words, but only for a moment. they didn’t feel like a compliment. they felt like a reminder—one she didn’t need. being strong wasn’t a choice. it was just something she had to be.
the session dragged on, filled with more questions jane didn’t want to answer and silences she couldn’t fill. by the end of it, she was exhausted, her body heavy with emotions she still didn’t know how to name.
jieun picked her up after the session, her usual warm smile in place as she waved from the car. jane slid into the passenger seat, her silence as thick as the tension in her chest. she felt jieun’s eyes on her along with the unspoken questions hanging in the air.
“how was it?” the older woman finally asked, her voice light but careful. jane stared out the window, watching the world blur past. “it was fine,” she muttered. the words were flat, stripped of anything that might invite more questions.
her grandmother didn’t press her, but as they pulled into the driveway and parked, she turned to the smaller girl with a softness that made the girl’s chest ache. “do you want to go back next week? you don’t have to if it’s too much.”
jane hesitated, her fingers curling around the strap of her backpack. the weight of the question pressed down on her. did she want to go back? did she want to sit in that room again, feeling like she was being pried open? did she want to pretend that someone else’s words could fix the cracks that had already run so deep?
“no,” she said finally, her voice quiet, even as her chest tightened further. “i don’t want to go back.”
jieun nodded, her expression unreadable. she didn’t argue, didn’t try to convince jane otherwise. “okay,” she said softly. “that’s okay.”
but as they walked into the house and ivory retreated to her room, she couldn’t shake the hollowness that had settled inside her. she dropped her bag to the floor and sat on the edge of her bed, staring at the cracks in the ceiling. the session had left her drained, not relieved. the therapist’s words echoed in her mind, the attempt at comfort ringing hollow.
"you must be very strong."
strong wasn’t enough. pretending to be strong didn’t make the loneliness go away, didn’t fill the spaces where words failed, didn’t erase the ache that came from being so close to someone and yet feeling so far away.
this wasn’t going to work, she knew that now. she couldn’t keep doing this—couldn’t keep sitting in rooms with people who wanted her to explain the things she barely understood herself. no one’s words were going to fix it.
no one’s reassurances were going to be enough. no matter how many fancy degrees or framed certificates they had hanging on their walls, they didn’t have the answers she needed. they couldn’t untangle the mess inside her head or quiet the ache in her chest. every question felt like a spotlight on something she wanted to keep in the dark, every answer she gave felt like handing over a piece of herself she wasn’t ready to share.
ivory sat on the edge of her bed, her hands gripping the comforter as if it might anchor her. the house was quiet, the kind of silence that pressed in on her and made her feel smaller. she thought of her grandmother downstairs, probably pretending not to worry, probably thinking about what to tell her mother later. for now she’d be giving her space, because that’s what jieun always did.
but space wasn’t what jane wanted. not really. what she wanted wasn’t something she could name, and it definitely wasn’t something anyone could give her. it wasn’t something she’d find in a therapist’s office, no matter how soft their voice or kind their eyes were.
her chest felt tight again, like it might collapse in on itself. she pressed her palms flat against her legs, grounding herself, but the weight of everything she was carrying still felt like too much.
this wasn’t going to work. jane had always known, deep down, that it wouldn’t. and now, staring at the cracks in her ceiling, she let that truth settle over her like a blanket. no one could fix this for her.
and no one’s words—not a therapist’s, not jieun’s—were ever going to be enough.

Personal Records Ch.4 - epilogue
Summary: this is an epilogue chapter of the series 'Personal Records' that i wrote. It's an AU where Lucy is a personal trainer and Ona is a realestate agent. In this chapter we are eight years after they got together. Ona and Lucy have 2 kids. This epilogue can be read separately, but if you want to read the other parts, those can be found here. And a big thank you to @pinkygirl28 for helping :)
Warnings: Minors DNI, smut. fluff.
Words: 11.458
“Good morning, birthday girl,” Ona leaned over her wife’s shoulder, whispering in her ear and placing a soft kiss against the side of her face, just next to her ear.
Lucy was lying on her stomach, arms wrapped around her pillow, and one knee bent up. Ever since they had kids, Lucy had miraculously started sleeping better. As soon as she hit the bed, she could fall asleep, waking only when one of their two sons came into the room, or when the alarm went off on the rare occasions the boys slept in. Only on very special days—she was woken up by her wife.
Lucy stirred and groaned. “What time is it?” she murmured into the pillow.
Ona chuckled, kissing Lucy’s bare shoulder. “Six fifteen, my love.”
“Six fifteen?” Lucy took a deep breath, rolling over and stretching with a lazy smile. “Hmm, are you waking me up before the alarm for any particular reason, Mrs. Bronze-Battle?”
“Well, with a birthday comes presents,” Ona teased. “You don’t turn forty-one every day, so—”
Lucy gasped, clutching her heart dramatically as she let her head drop back on the pillow. “Babe, I just had a nightmare, oh my God, it was so realistic but so scary,” she said in an exaggerated whisper. “I dreamed that my wife accused me of being forty-one.”
Ona rolled her eyes. “Glad to see you’re still the same weirdo.”
Lucy’s mouth fell open in mock offense. She rolled over and hovered over Ona, holding her wrists beside her head. “Calling the birthday girl a weirdo? Pfft and here I was, thinking I’d get a quickie or something.”
Ona chuckled, pretending to fight for her freedom. “Well, if you keep holding me like this, nothing like that can happen.”
Lucy leaned in, brushing Ona’s neck with her nose and lips, placing a few teasing kisses. “Ahh, so it was the reason you woke me up?”
Ona swallowed. Even after all these years of marriage, she still felt an undeniable pull toward Lucy. She was so attracted to her. Lucy could just... ugh, she was amazing. “Yeah. Didn’t you hear me go to the bathroom a few minutes ago?” Ona said, blushing slightly.
“No, why?”
Ona chuckled. “I put a nice set on.”
Lucy released Ona’s hands and sat back, straddling Ona’s hips carefully, not letting her weight rest on her wife. The covers slid off her back, revealing Ona in a green lingerie set.
Lucy smirked, amused. “Hmm. Happy birthday to me, indeed.”
She shifted, parting Ona’s legs and kneeling between them, before leaning forward to kiss her wife.
“Mmm, even brushed your teeth,” Lucy noted, pulling back.
Ona chuckled, wrapping her legs around Lucy’s hips. “Mhm. I went all out.”
Lucy smiled, gazing into Ona’s eyes. “I love you so much.”
Ona reached up, cupping the back of Lucy’s neck. “I love you too, baby. But a quick reminder: the alarm will go off at exactly seven o’clock.”
With a scrunch of her nose, Lucy leaned in, kissing Ona deeply, her hips grinding gently against Ona’s covered center.
When Ona gasped, Lucy slipped her tongue into the kiss, deepening it.
After a moment Lucy broke away for a breath, Ona bit her lip. “Love it when you kiss me like that.”
“Mm, I love kissing you like that,” Lucy murmured, leaning in again. “My wife.”
“Fuck. You know I am,” Ona said, lifting her head off the pillow to kiss Lucy again.
Lucy smirked, still grinding her hips as she buried her face in Ona’s neck. “Can we use the strap?” she asked sweetly, planting soft kisses. “It’s been a while,” she added with a pout.
“Please,” Ona said breathlessly, nodding as her legs loosened around Lucy.
Lucy kissed her way down Ona’s body, sliding the lace bra up to expose her chest. “Gunna fuck you so good, babe,” she whispered lowly before running her tongue over Ona’s hardened nipple.
Ever since Ona had the kids, her chest had become more sensitive and had stayed that way. She threaded her fingers through Lucy’s hair, guiding her gently to avoid sucking too hard or biting, as Lucy sometimes forgot this fact. Lucy groaned. “I missed this.”
Ona chuckled, letting her head fall back on the pillow. “It’s only been a week, amor.”
“Only?” Lucy looked up at Ona with a smirk before continuing downward.
Lucy started kissing Ona´s stomach until she was squirming.
Smiling, she placed one last kiss before stepping out of bed.
But.. just as Lucy reached for the dresser drawer, the bedroom door opened.
Ona sighed, pulling her top back into place.
Lucy’s gaze shot from her wife to the door and back, disappointment flickering for a moment before worry replaced it. Why did their son look sad?
“Mommy,” their four-year-old mumbled as he walked into the room. “I dreamed... I-I-” A few tears rolled down his cheeks. “Lo siento,” he said, pouting and looking down at the floor.
“Hey, little man,” Lucy said, walking over to him. “What’s wrong?”
As she bent down to pick him up, she realized the issue. “Oh... did you dream you were sitting on the potty again?” she guessed gently.
“Sí,” the boy admitted, still staring at the floor.
“It’s okay, Lucas. You didn’t do it on purpose,” Ona reassured, getting out of bed. “No a propósito.”
“Mhm. Potty training is hard, and you’re doing so well,” Lucy added. “This is only the second time in two weeks you’ve had an accident.” Kneeling in front of her son, she asked, “And what do we always say?”
Lucas looked up, glancing between his two moms. “Accidents... will... eh... happen?”
“Mhm, exactly, accidents happen,” Ona said, pulling on her robe and joining Lucy.
“Come on, let’s clean you up,” Ona said, holding out her hand. “And your bed.”
Lucy followed them.
In the dinosaur-themed bedroom, Ona flicked on the light as Lucy pulled fresh sheets from the closet. Luckily, they’d put a hydrophobic mattress cover on, a lesson learned while potty-training their older son, Oliver, who was now six.
“Babe, you don’t have to do this. I can handle it,” Ona offered, setting clean clothes on the sink in Lucas´ bathroom. “You can shower and go relax downstairs before I start breakfast.”
Lucy smiled. “Of course not. We’re in this together.”
“We are a team!” Lucas called out, repeating the phrase his moms often said.
Lucy’s smile widened. “Yes, we are a team. Aren´t you such a smart kid.”
She exchanged a loving glance with Ona. They adored their little family.
Lucas beamed. “I can shower by myself. Mommies can make the bed.”
Ona chuckled. “I’ll help you with the shower, baby. You’re not getting out of this.”
“I’m not a baby.” Lucas frowned, huffing indignantly.
Ona rolled her eyes affectionately. “You look way too much like your mama.” She walked to the bathroom, setting the water on the right temperature.
“He said that because you called him ‘baby,’ by the way,” Lucy called as she stripped the bed. “Not because he wanted to do it alone.”
Lucas stood there infront of the shower, looking up at his mom. Waiting for her instructions. Ona laughed, realizing Lucy was probably right.
…
After getting Lucas dressed and his bed fresh again, the three of them headed downstairs. It was Friday, and today Lucy’s parents were arriving in Spain. This weekend, they would celebrate Lucy’s birthday.
“Buenos días, Ollie,” Lucy said in surprise, spotting the flicked-on light in the TV room. “Are you up already? Ya estás despierto?” she repeated in Spanish.
They were trying to raise their kids bilingual. When Ona was pregnant, they had discussed at length how to approach it. The options were Spanish, Catalan, and English. But they’d read that introducing three languages at home could confuse children. So, they chose to use Spanish and English at home, with Catalan being learned naturally through school.
“Ya no podía dormir más,” Oliver replied without looking up from what he was doing.
Lucy didn’t need to glance at Ona to know the look on her face. Ona always gave her the same amused expression whenever their boys mirrored her. Oliver was Lucy’s mini-me, no doubt about it—and Ona loved it.
Lucy walked over to see what he was up to behind the couch. There he was, stretched out on his stomach with the dog beside him, the iPad propped up against the couch. He was watching football videos, of course.
“What are you watching, cowboy?” Lucy asked as she climbed over the couch.
“The 2025 Champions League final, Barça against Chelsea,” he replied without taking his eyes off the screen.
“Mmm, that is a good one,” Lucy said appreciatively. “A classic.”
Football was their shared thing. Lucy watched both men’s and women’s matches whenever they were on, and from the time Oliver could sit up, he had joined her. It was adorable, and a little impressive, how much the boy knew about the teams and players.
“And good morning to you, Canela,” Lucy added, scratching the dog behind her ears. When Lucas had turned three, they had finally gotten a dog—a lifelong dream for Lucy. They had ended up with a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever, who Ona had named, much to Lucy’s playful regret.
“Why are you on the floor, anyway?” Lucy questioned as she petted her son’s head.
“I wanted Nela to watch with me,” Oliver said, still absorbed in the game. “I’m showing her women’s football so she can learn and play with me.”
“Aha,” Lucy said, holding back a chuckle. “So, I’m not good enough to play ball with you anymore?”
Oliver looked up, clearly thinking hard about her question.
“You are,” he finally said, “but sometimes you’re at work, and Nela is... siempre en casa.”
“Wow, you really thought about that, didn’t you?” Lucy grinned. “Well, I’m sure she can be your goalie.”
“Yes,” Oliver huffed. “She always takes the ball in her mouth, but I want to pass to each other—”
Suddenly, he gasped. “Wait! Mom!”
Lucy blinked. “What happened?”
“Your cumpleaños!” he shouted as he bolted off.
Lucy followed him with her eyes until her gaze landed on Ona. Her beautiful wife stood in the kitchen, their youngest sitting on the counter. The two women exchanged amused glances. Oliver could be an unpredictable whirlwind at times, always living in his own world.
“Alright,” Lucy chuckled. She picked up the iPad from the floor and set it on the coffee table before heading to the kitchen.
She came up behind Ona, resting her chin on her shoulder. “What’s cooking, good-lookin’?” she teased, placing a kiss just below Ona’s ear.
Ona chuckled, continuing what she was doing. “Making a birthday breakfast.”
“Mmm, I think my chances of a proper birthday breakfast sailed away with a dream about potties.”
Air escaped Ona’s nose as she laughed softly. “Tonight.”
“Oh?” Lucy teased, nipping at Ona’s neck. “With my parents under our roof? Naughty girl.” She buried her face between Ona and the fuzzy collar of her robe, planting playful kisses.
“My favorite breakfast is every breakfast,” Lucas said, sounding contemplative, as if he’d just discovered this truth about himself.
“Oh we know baby, you’re our little glotón,” Ona said, noticing his eager gaze fixed on the food.
In a softer tone, she murmured to Lucy, “Your parents are staying in the guesthouse.”
Lucy bit Ona’s neck teasingly, kissing the spot after, and pulled her wife closer by the hips.
Ona chuckled. “Maybe we can even set up a s-l-e-e-p-o-v-e-r for the boys there, too, in the context of ‘missing them.’”
Lucy laughed, pressing more kisses to Ona’s neck. “Mmm, I like the way you think.”
“Mommy, don’t eat Mama!” Lucas said, offended, pointing at the plates. “Breakfast! Casi listo... almost.”
Lucy pulled back with a grin, turning her attention to her son. “But I. Am. Hungry,” she said, slowly walking towards him like a monster.
“Nooo!” Lucas kicked his legs, laughing as his mother playfully clawed at him.
“I’m so hungry I could eat a little boy!” Lucy said as she swung him over her shoulder.
She carried the squirming, giggling Lucas to the sofa and gently tossed him onto it.
She leaned over, tickling him until his face turned red. “Stop, Mommy, stop!” he whined.
“Say clemència?” she teased, already slowing her attack.
“Piedad, piedad, por favor!” Lucas giggled.
Lucy raised her hands in surrender. “I guess the monster will have to go hungry.”
Lucas chuckled. “Noo-ooh, Mama is making yummy breakfast.”
“Ahh, that’s right. Mama is making breakfast.” Lucy smiled, scooping him into her arms and kissing his cheek. “She’s the best mom, isn’t she?”
Lucas nodded, his little hand resting on Lucy’s cheek as if studying her.
Lucy braced herself for whatever was about to come out of his mouth. Their boys’ words were often delightfully unpredictable.
“Yo amo a mamá,” he said softly, as if sharing a secret.
Lucy nodded knowingly. “Mm, yo también amo a mamá,” she whispered in his ear.
As they approached the kitchen, Lucy set Lucas in his chair and looked around the table to see if anything was missing. She grabbed the glasses and helped set them.
“Looks amazing, babe,” Lucy said as she took her seat.
“Mhm, and now it’s actually not so bad we’re up early, at least there’s plenty of time to eat,” Ona said, wiping her hands on a towel.
Lucy was about to protest Ona’s comment, but she was already heading out of the kitchen. Saying, “I’m going to check on Oliver, and then we can dig in. Okay Lucas? Espera a tu hermano.” Maybe more so directed at both Lucy and her son.
…
With a small bag, Ona returned to the kitchen, Oliver trailing close behind. He carried something in his hands too, holding it carefully like a prized treasure.
“Happy birthday mommy,” Oliver exclaimed, marching over to Lucy. He held up a colorful drawing and a necklace made of Hama beads, the little plastic pieces strung on a string in a colorful, lopsided design.
“For you,” he announced proudly, setting them on the table in front of her.
Lucy smiled as she picked up the necklace. “Wow, Ollie, very pretty. Did you make this all by yourself?”
Oliver nodded enthusiastically. “And the drawing too. It’s us playing football and Nela is there.” He pointed out the dog in the corner of the crayon-colored pitch.
“That’s a beautiful drawing Ollie, and the necklace too, lets see how it looks on me.” Lucy said, putting the necklace on with exaggerated care. “What do you think, mamá?’’ she smiled at Ona, ‘’Does it suit me?”
Ona leaned over, brushing her lips against Lucy’s temple. “It suits you perfectly,” she said with a soft chuckle, ruffling Oliver’s hair. ‘’You did a good job.’’
“And there’s more!” Oliver said, bouncing in place as Ona placed a wrapped box on the table. ‘’Mama has a present too.’’
“Ábrelo, Mommy!” Lucas clapped his hands excitedly.
Lucy chuckled and opened the gift carefully, revealing a sleek new watch inside. She looked at her family with a big smile. “Woahh, what’s that?” She asked as she held the watch up to show her sons.
‘’Ohh un reloj.’’ Oliver said, in awe.
“Do you like it?” Ona asked, watching her wife’s expression closely.
“I love it,” Lucy said, already slipping it onto her wrist. She reached out to pull Ona into a hug. “Thank you love, its beautiful.”
‘’I’m happy you like it,’’ Ona smiled, ‘’and you will get the other presents tomorrow.’’
…
They were finishing breakfast when the doorbell rang.
"Who is that?" Lucas yelled excitedly, sliding off his chair and dashing toward the door.
The heavy door creaked open as Lucas stood on his tiptoes to reach the handle. "Sophia!" he exclaimed, wrapping his arms around one of her legs before she had even fully stepped inside.
Sophia, took the little boy on her hip. When she stepped in to the kitchen with him she grinned, entirely unfazed by the scene before her. Since moving to Spain permanently and sharing Ona’s PA duties with another assistant, she had become a fixture in their lives. She was no stranger in navigating the chaos of the little family she adored so much.
“Well, isn’t this a sight?” she teased, her gaze sweeping over the kitchen. "What kind of special day is this, cariño?" she said to Lucas as she set him down. "You’re the only one who’s dressed."
At the table, Oliver froze mid-bite of his toast. Realizing he was still in his pajamas, he bolted upstairs before Ona could even open her mouth.
“You should come by every morning, Soph,” Ona said with a smirk, watching Oliver’s retreating figure.
Sophia smiled, “you know I’d happily help you guys with the boys every day, they’re adorable.”
Lucy, tipping back the last of her juice, gave an apologetic smile. "Sorry for the mess."
Sophia waved her off. “Don’t worry. How about I take the boys to school today? That way, you two can clean up and maybe even get dressed properly.”
Lucy and Ona exchanged a look of gratitude.
“That would be perfect,” Lucy said sincerely. “Thank you, Soph.”
“You always know how to make our life easier,” Ona added.
Sophia chuckled, brushing off their thanks. “Oh, and happy birthday, Lucy. I’ll bring your present tomorrow.”
Lucas tugged on Sophia’s hand, already babbling about school to her as she let herself be pulled toward the hallway to help him with his shoes and jacket.
Meanwhile, Ona and Lucy scrambled to pack the boys’ backpacks, just as Oliver reappeared downstairs, his hair still a mess.
"Did you remember to brush your teeth, Ollie?" Lucy asked, pulling a comb and hair gel from the cabinet.
“Mm-hmm,” he nodded earnestly.
“Good job,” Lucy said, pulling out a chair and patting the seat. "Now, come here. Let me fix that hair."
Oliver groaned but obediently climbed onto the chair, resigned to his fate.
…
As the front door clicked shut behind Sophia and the boys, a rare silence fell over the house.
“So,” Lucy said, leaning against the kitchen counter. “We’ve got about thirty minutes.”
“And I already cleaned the table and the kitchen,” Ona replied, gesturing toward the spotless room.
Lucy’s lips curled into a mischievous smile. "Think we can squeeze in a shower together?"
Ona’s grin mirrored her wife’s. "I was hoping you’d say that."
Together, they headed up the stairs. They’d barely made it to their room when the unmistakable ring of a phone broke the mood.
"Yours or mine?" Lucy asked, frowning, glancing at Ona.
"No idea. I’ll check, it might be Sophia."
Ona walked back to the kitchen and picked up Lucy’s phone. A moment later, she returned with a sheepish look. “It’s your mom.” She silently spoke.
Lucy groaned but took the phone, mouthing a silent apology before answering.
…
"Yes, Mum," Lucy said for the tenth time, pacing the room. “I’ll be there for pickup at exactly four fifteen.”
Her gaze darted to the bathroom where Ona was already in the shower. "No, no, mum, she can’t come with us. She has to—" Lucy’s words faltered as Ona turned, soaping her chest with deliberate slowness. "Yes, she has to pick up the boys.”
"Yes, yes, they’re fine. We called yesterday, remember? They’re really loving school," she continued distractedly.
Finally, Lucy sighed. "Mum, I’ve got to go. Love you too. Yes, bye. Bye." She hung up, letting out an exasperated breath.
“Fucking finally,” she muttered, tossing her phone onto the bed. Without wasting another second, she stripped off her t-shirt and boxers, let her hair tumble free from its elastic, and placed her new watch carefully on the sink counter.
“There you are,” Ona teased from under the spray of the shower.
Lucy stepped inside, turning on her side of the water. "Guess it’s gonna be tonight, huh? Five minutes won’t cut it and I don’t want to be hot and bothered all day."
Ona chuckled. "Tonight, I promise. We’ll make up for it."
Lucy smiled softly. "I love you, babe. Loved that you tried, though.’’ She laughed, ‘’the kids will get older eventually. At my 50th birthday, maybe we’ll finally-"
"Don’t talk about that," Ona interrupted, leaning in to kiss her. "They’re growing fast enough as it is."
"True," Lucy replied, her tone lighter. "But I won’t miss the bed-wetting phase."
“He’ll be fully potty-trained soon,” Ona reassured her.
"Yeah, he’s doing so well," Lucy said, her voice soft with emotion. A sudden wave of sentiment welled up in her, and she shook her head with a small laugh. "Ugh, birthday emotions. Damn, they’ve come early this year."
Ona kissed her forehead with a quiet chuckle. "I think it’s sweet."
Lucy wrapped her arms around her wife, pulling her close. "I just... I love how everything’s turned out. I could’ve never imagined meeting the love of my life that random summer day in London. But when you walked into my gym, I knew you were special."
“You always say that,” Ona said, resting her head against Lucy’s chest. "But I wasn’t exactly kind to you at first."
"Yeah, but you also told me I was fit, didn’t you?"
Ona laughed softly. "Physically, sure. I thought you were incredible. But I also thought you were a little annoying."
Lucy smirked. "And I thought you were a stuck-up bitch."
Ona laughed harder, her voice vibrating against Lucy. "Oh, how I love it when you bring up those first memories."
"Well, those are only the very first ones," Lucy quipped. "I tamed you pretty quickly, didn’t I?"
Ona gasped, feigning offense as she tilted her head back to look at Lucy. "Tamed!?"
Lucy grinned, running her fingers through Ona’s wet hair. "Oh, I don’t know. I think I worked my magic pretty fast."
"Magic" Ona scoffed, her cheeks flushing under the warm spray. "You just blackmailed me with sex."
"Sure, sure," Lucy teased, leaning in to press a kiss against Ona's lips. "But it worked so well that you ended up falling for me.’’
Ona rolled her eyes but couldn’t hide her smile. "Good sex is one thing, being amazing is another. I fell in love with all of Lucy Bronze, not just the physical bits."
"Mm-hmm," Lucy said, pulling her closer. "And look at us now. Two kids, a little doggie, all our friends and family, I wouldn’t trade my life for anything."
Ona softened, brushing her thumb over Lucy’s cheek. "Neither would I. You’ve made me happier than I ever thought possible."
Lucy leaned in again, their foreheads touching as the moment stretched out between them. The sound of water filled the silence.
Then the faint rumble of a car pulling up broke their moment. Lucy sighed, leaning her head against Ona’s shoulder.
"She’s back, isn’t she?" Lucy muttered, her tone half-annoyed.
"That’s Sophia for you," Ona replied, giving Lucy a quick kiss before turning off her side of the shower. "She’s quick."

Barcelona Airport – 16:17
Lucy stood near the arrivals gate, scanning the small crowd of passengers coming through one by one.
After a few more minutes, her parents appeared together. Her mom with her neatly trimmed bob and her dad with his jacket casually draped over one arm. It was very them, and in that moment, Lucy felt a rush of emotion for the second time this morning. She had missed them so much. She was so blessed her parents where still fit and able to come over to Spain for her birthday.
With a big smile she waved them over.
“Hi, Mom. Hi, Dad.”
“Lucy!” Diane beamed, quickening her step for a hug. “Oh, it’s so good to see you in person. Happy birthday honey.”
´´Hi mom, missed you.´´ Lucy said, breathing in her mothers scent.
Joaquim followed close behind, pulling Lucy into an embrace after Diane had let her go. ´´Happy birthday Lucy.´´
“Thank you. Good to see you, Dad,” Lucy said, kissing him on the cheek, and taking their suitcase. “Come on, the car’s not far. Let’s get you two home.”
Minutes later Lucy had her parents settled in the car.
The highway stretched out in front of them as Lucy guided the car smoothly onto the open road. Diane sat in the front passenger seat, while Joaquim had settled in the back.
“How was the flight?” Lucy asked, glancing at her mom.
“Not bad,” Diane replied. “Well, I think it took long enough, but everything went smooth.’’
“Oh, it was fine,” Joaquim chimed in. “Taking off, blinking a couple of times, landing again. In twenty-thirty-two travelling is luckily very easy, and otherwise we would’ve never let you move here.” He added jokingly.
Lucy chuckled. “Well, I’m glad things where good, and now you’re here. The boys are going to be thrilled when they see you.”
“Can’t wait,” Joaquim said, leaning forward slightly. “They must’ve grown so much since last time we saw them.”
“They have,” Lucy said, smiling. “and Lucas is getting really chatty. He’s full of stories about school and what he’s learning. God, he has all these questions, I’m sure he will ask you guys many many questions too.’’ She chuckled at the thought.
‘’Adorable.’’ Diane smiled, looking at the road, ‘’and Ollie?’’
Lucy grinned, ‘’Oliver is still Oliver,´´ she shrugged, ´´he’s a smart boy, but he’s also getting a little cheeky.”
“Wonder where he gets that from,” Diane said, giving Lucy a knowing look.
“Definitely his grandparents,” Lucy replied dryly.
All three of them chuckled.
“So, how are the gyms going?” Diane asked after a couple minutes of silence, shifting in her seat to look at Lucy properly.
“Really well,” Lucy said. “We’ve had steady growth, and I’ve added a couple more trainers to the team. It’s been busy, but a good kind of busy.”
“That’s fantastic, love. You’ve worked so hard for it,” Diane said warmly. “And how’s Ona handling everything?”
“She’s good,” Lucy said. “Her schedule’s always a bit hectic, but it’s much more manageable now that she is outsourcing things more and more. Last month she’s actually been home a lot more, which is nice.”
“I’m so glad to hear that,” Joaquim said. “It sounds like things are good.”
“Honestly, I feel so blessed,” Lucy admitted. “I had never imagined my life turning out so perfect.” She looked over at her mom for a second, ‘’mom, had you ever thought?’’ She looked at her dad in rear view mirror, ‘’dad?’’ She looked back at the road, ‘’sometimes I cant even believe that its all real.’’
Her mom smiled, laying her hand on Lucy’s thigh. ‘’its real darling, and you deserve it.’’
Her dad laid his hand on her shoulder, gently squeezing, ‘’and we’re proud of you.’’
A comfortable silence fell. They where halfway through the drive, with about twenty five minutes left until they’d reach the house.
As the drive continued, Lucy glanced at her mom. “So, I was thinking for tonight… instead of going out to a restaurant, we could just order something in and eat at home. You’re probably tired after the flight, and this way we can actually relax and catch up properly.”
“Mhm sure, that sounds perfect,” Diane said without hesitation.
“Great,” Lucy said, relieved. “I’ll make sure we get something good.”
She hesitated briefly before adding, “Oh, and one more thing—the boys were wondering if they could stay with you in the guesthouse tonight, because they missed you two so much, but no pressure. It’s totally up to you.”
Diane’s face softened. “Oh, I’d love that. Wouldn’t you, Joaquim?”
“Of course,” he said. “I have earplugs in my toiletry bag, so if they’re as chatty as you said I’ll still be fine.”
“Good,” Lucy said, laughing. “But seriously, if it’s too much after traveling, don’t worry about it. They’ll be fine in the main house.”
“No, it’ll be lovely,” Diane insisted. “We’ll figure it out when we see them.”
“Perfect,” Lucy said

Lucy and Ona’s villa – 17:24
As Lucy turned onto the driveway, she noticed all the cars neatly parked in their spots. She had expected it, but the sight confirmed it—Ona and the boys were home. Earlier that afternoon, she had arranged the cars with tomorrow’s party in mind, leaving plenty of space for guests.
The party would be held inside. Even in Catalunya, October evenings could be chilly, especially for a gathering that would go late into the night. Tomorrow was the big celebration, the main thing was a cozy dinner with their friends and family to mark Lucy’s 41st birthday.
Most of the preparations had been completed earlier that day, much to Lucy’s relief. Tonight, they could just relax and catch up with her parents. The only thing left was the arrival of the caterers in the morning with the cake, food, snacks, and drinks. But for now, everything was ready.
As Lucy stepped out of the car, the villa’s front door opened. A little boy came sprinting toward them in his socks, while a slightly bigger boy lingered in the doorway, peeking shyly from behind his mama.
“Nana!” Lucas called out excitedly, his voice carrying across the driveway. “Grandpa!”
Lucy smiled, her heart swelling at the sight of her youngest. His joy was so bright it could melt anyone’s heart. Behind him, Oliver gave a small wave but didn’t step forward, still half-hidden behind Ona’s leg.
“Ahh, look at you.” Diane said warmly, leaning down to catch Lucas as he barreled into her arms.
Joaquim stepped out of the back seat, his face lighting up at the sight of his grandson. “Well, do I get a hug too?” he teased, earning a giggle from Lucas, who darted over to him for an embrace.
In the doorway, Ona gave Lucy a soft smile, holding Oliver’s hand as she whispered something to him.
After a moment, Oliver finally stepped out, timidly making his way over to Lucy.
“Come here, Ollie,” Lucy said gently, smiling as she crouched down with her arms open. Her eldest was so different from his brother, he could be very shy.
Oliver walked over, arms out, and Lucy scooped him onto her hip. “Do you remember Grandma and Grandpa?” she asked, pressing a kiss to his temple.
Oliver’s gaze stayed fixed on Lucas, who was eagerly chatting with his grandparents, recounting something that had happened at school.
“Grandma and Grandpa from England,” Lucy added softly. “They’re my mom and dad.”
That made Oliver look up at her with a silly smile. “I know that, Mom,” he said with a hint of sass, and Lucy swore she caught the beginnings of an eye roll.
“Okay, okay,” she chuckled. “Well, why are you so shy, then?”
Oliver shrugged, staying quiet for a moment, “Did they go on a plane?”
Lucy laughed. “Mhm, they did.” She carefully set him back down. “Why don’t you ask them how the flight was?”
Oliver turned and pressed his face against her legs, clinging tightly.
“Okay, you don’t have to,” Lucy said with a soft laugh. “Here, help me with the suitcase instead. Can you open the trunk?”

Lucy and Ona’s villa – 18:58
After catching up over drinks on the couch and deciding what everyone wanted for dinner, they placed their order. It would arrive around 19:30, leaving them with some time to settle Diane and Joaquim into the guesthouse. The small house on the property was perfect for family visits, with two rooms. The room they had made ready was the one with a double bed and a pull-out couch.
After everyone put their shoes on Lucy led the way to the guesthouse, pulling the big suitcase. Lucas ran ahead, with Oliver trailing close behind, clearly excited about staying with their grandparents. By now Oliver had warmed up to his grandparents, it always took just a bit of time.
Inside, Diane and Joaquim got to unpacking their suitcase. Joaquim had already hung up a few shirts, while Diane set their toiletries in the bathroom. They where staying over for a week.
“You’ve got everything you need here,” Lucy said, pointing at a stack of fresh towels in the cabin. “But extra towels or blankets for if it gets chilly, are in the closet in the livingroom, I’ve put the heat on now, in the evening it automatically goes down, tomorrow morning it goes up again.”
“Thank you, sweetheart,” Diane said, giving Lucy a warm smile. “This place is so lovely, its always a joy to stay over.”
Lucy glanced at the pull-out couch in the room, where Ona was helping Lucas tug off the cushions. “Let’s get this ready for you boys,” she said, stepping in to help.
Lucas and Oliver hovered nearby, clearly more interested in jumping on the pillows than helping. “I want this side.” Lucas declared, pointing to the end closest to the nightstand.
Oliver crossed his arms. “That’s where I was gonna sleep!”
“Boys,” Lucy said with a silent chuckle, thinking back to her own childhood, kneeling down to pull the couch into a bed. “If you want this to work, you’re going to have to figure it out. Otherwise, no one sleeps here.”
´´I´m the oldest,´´ Oliver said, challenging Lucas.
“Fine,” Lucas said quickly, backing down as he glanced at his moms. “You can have it, but when I am older I can choose too.”
Oliver smirked, ´´yes´´.
“Unbelievable,” Ona murmured with a smile, helping Lucy spread out the fitted sheet.
The boys’ excitement was contagious, their chatter filling the room. “Mom, remember when we all had to share a bed at a hotel?” Lucas asked.
“I do,” Lucy said, smoothing the top sheet. “It almost didn’t fit, you nearly kicked me off the bed.”
Lucas giggled. “That was Oliver, not me.”
“Right,” Lucy said with a smile, before turning slightly more serious, “Well, I hope you two will be on your best behaviour, otherwise mama and I will put you right back in your own rooms, grandma and grandpa had a long day, so they need good sleep tonight.´´
´´Ollie? Lucas?’’
The two boys looked up at her. ‘’Sí, prometido.’’
"Bé, bé, fills meus." Ona smiled warmly. "La mama està orgullosa de vosaltres."
‘’If they make the promise true, that is.’’ Lucy added semi-jokingly.
Diane smiled at the scene. “It’ll be fine, Lucy,” she assured her daughter.
“I know,” Lucy said, tucking in the corners of the blanket. “But just put Lucas down about half an hour before Oliver. So he will already be asleep, and Oliver won’t have to deal with him wiggling around.”
Diane nodded. “Mhm, we´ll put Lucas first.”
“Perfect,” Lucy said, stepping back to admire the made bed. “You two are going to have so much fun staying with nana and grandpa, right?”
“Síí, fiesta de pijamas!” Lucas said enthusiastically, hopping onto the pull out couch bed.
Oliver gave a more measured nod, but the small smile on his face showed he was just as excited.
…
Lucy and Ona’s villa – 21:04
After dinner, the family had moved from the dining table to the TV room for dessert.
This afternoon, Ona hadn’t been able to resist stopping at a bakery on the way back from school. Tomorrow there would be a proper birthday cake, but Ona had decided Lucy deserved something special on the day itself too. The boys had eagerly chosen a small chocolate cake, glossy with chocolate glaze and topped with a bright red cherry.
Lucy blew out the little gold candle Ona had placed on it. The boys cheered, urging their mom to make a wish.
Lucy glanced at her little family, and wished that things could stay this good forever. Smiling, she pressed a kiss to the side of Ona’s head before taking the knife Ona handed her.
Joaquim and Ona sipped glasses of wine, Diane enjoyed a cup of tea, and Lucy held a beer, even though it wasn’t exactly the temperature for it. The boys sat on little stools at the coffee table to minimize the chances of a chocolate catastrophe, while Lucy’s parents had settled into armchairs. Ona and Lucy had claimed the sofa, where Ona laid nestled against Lucy’s chest. Lucy had an arm draped around her wife, her other hand occasionally lifting her beer for a sip. One of Ona’s hands rested lightly on the inside of her knee.
Lucy felt happy, happy spending an evening with the people she loved most in the whole world. It was a perfect birthday.
The boys finished their cakes with sticky fingers and satisfied smiles. “Are we going to play a board game now?” Ollie asked hopefully, his eyes lighting up as Lucas immediately chimed in with enthusiasm.
“Oh, no, no,” Ona and Lucy said in unison, both chuckling.
“It’s way too late for that,” Lucy added. “We have to brush our teeth and get into our pajamas,” she said lazily, making no effort to follow through getting up from the couch.
The boys groaned in unison, dragging out the whines for effect.
Ona smiled amuzed at her wife, but to be honest she didn’t really feel like getting up either. “You two, first go in the kitchen to wash your hands, then go upstairs, put on your pajamas, and bring your toothbrushes down with you. Let’s go. Chop, chop.”
Lucas tilted his head in confusion, looking at Lucy. “My pj is in the laundry,” he said. “I need a new one..”
Lucy sighed, raising her beer for one last sip before setting it down. “He’s right,” she said.
Ona dropped her head with an exaggerated groan, she was just getting comfy. “Okay, okay. I’ll come up in a second, I’ll help,” she said, waving the boys toward the stairs. “You two go ahead. I’ll get it for you Lucas.”
Reluctantly, the boys shuffled off, Lucas muttering something incohearant while Oliver took his sweet time following behind, first stacking all the little plates.
‘’We’ll help em.’’ Diane said, chuckling at the two moms who where gathering courage to stand up.
‘’We?’’ Joaquim asked surprised.
‘’Or just me, if you don’t want to’’ Diane nonchalantly said, standing up. ‘’Come on, it will be fun. Nostalgic.’’
‘’Mom, you don’t need to.’’ Lucy said, ‘’Ona and I will do it, they’re-
‘’No, no, none of that.’’ Lucy’s mom said, holding a hand out for her husband, ‘’we hardly get to see them.’’
‘’Well, okay.’’ Lucy smiled, ‘’if you need help just call down.’’
‘’Raising you prepared us well enough,’’ Joaquim joked, ‘’we will manage.’’
The two grandparents disapeared to the hall.
Ona nestled herself further against Lucy. ‘’hmm, maybe your parents can come over more often.’’
Lucy chuckled, kissing the top of Ona’s head. ‘’I hope they make a good night.’’
‘’They will,’’ Ona leaned back slightly, facing Lucy.
‘’Mmm,’’ Lucy licked her lips, ‘´I really hope so.’’
Ona leaned in pecking a soft kiss to Lucy’s lips.
Lucy answered the kiss, her hand coming up to cup Ona’s head.
‘’it was a nice surprise,’’ Lucy said breaking the kiss, ‘’the desert.’’
‘’Yeah, couldn’t resist.’’ Ona chuckled, ‘´I let the boys choose because I know they have the same taste u have.’’
‘’Mhmm, love me a chocolate cake.’’ She took Ona’s hand, her thumb tracing the weddingring there, ‘’this reminds me of this morning,’’ she looked up at Ona, ‘’d’you know what Lucas said?’’ she smiled, ‘’did you hear it? It was while you where making breakfast.’’
‘’No.’’ Ona laughed, suspecting something funny, ‘’what did he say?’’
‘’It was so cute, he was whispering to me like it was a secret,’’ Lucy chuckled, ‘’Yo amo a mamá.’’ She reenacted her sons whisper.
Ona smiled, ‘’why did he say that?’’
‘’Oh it was when I was acting I was going to eat him, then he said I didn’t have to do that, because mama was making breakfast.’’ Lucy chuckled, ‘’then I said, yes mama is the best, isnt she? And then he was silent for a bit, like really thinking, I saw the gears grinding in his little head and then he said ’yo amo a mamá,’´ she chuckled, ´´I love these ages so much,’’ She said to Ona, ‘’now that they’re really thinking about stuff.’’
‘’Yeah its cute,’’ Ona smiled, ‘’and I love how you talk about me to the kids.’’
Lucy smiled, ‘’ofcourse, oh and you want to hear something else that was funny, Oliver is showing Nela video’s of womens football to try and get her to play with him.’’
‘’Really?’’ Ona chuckled, ‘´Les dejamos ver demasiados dibujos.’’ (we let them watch to many cartoons)
‘’Ah it’s just children's fantasy, he will grow out of it, for now im happy he lives in a world where that is his biggest mision,’’ Lucy smiled, pulling her wife closer against her again.

Lucy and Ona’s villa – 21:48
“Grandpa took his teeth out!” Oliver came running toward the couch, his face lit up with wonder and excitement. Lucy quickly set Ona’s glass aside for her.
“His teeth?” Ona asked, chuckling.
Oliver scrambled up onto the couch and into his moms’ laps, giggling. “Grandpa took his teeth out, tiene dientes de mentira.”
Lucy laughed, wrapping her arms around her oldest son in a bear hug. “Did everything go well up there? Is everyone alright?”
“Yeah,” Oliver said casually. “I came down because I’ve seen his drawings a thousand times.”
“Lucas is showing his drawings?” Ona asked, turning herself towards Lucy and their son.
“Yup.” Oliver blinked sleepily as Ona smoothed a hand over his hair. “Can Nela sleep over in the house too?”
Hearing her name, the dog wandered over.
“Hmm, we’ll ask Grandma and Grandpa,” Ona said, leaning in to kiss Oliver’s forehead. “But if they’d rather not, Nela will just sleep in her own bed.”
Oliver smiled, “but if they say yes, he can come?”
“She,” Lucy corrected gently, “and yes, if they agree, then it’s okay.”
“Are you coming to sleep at the house too?” Oliver asked, fiddling with Ona’s necklace. “and Mom?”
“No,” Lucy replied, brushing back a strand of his hair. “It’s just for you, Lucas, Grandma, and Grandpa, it´s a special sleepover.”
“And Canela.”
“Maybe Canela,” Ona said with a soft smile. “If they don’t mind.”
“Don’t mind?” Oliver asked, tilting his head.
“If they agree,” Lucy explained.
“I’ll go ask!” Oliver said, suddenly trying to wriggle free from Lucy’s arms.
“Wait, wait, wait,” Lucy said, holding onto him.
Oliver stilled, turning to look at her, questioning.
“Let’s wait until they’re back down,” Lucy said calmly.
“Mom will ask, okay?” Ona added. “Or Mama.”
The boy let out a dramatic huff but nodded. “Okay.’’ He wiggled again. ‘’But let me go.”
“What are you going to do?” Lucy asked, tilting her head at him.
“Pet Nela,” Oliver declared.
‘’Mkay.’’ Lucy smiled, letting him go.
Ollie slid off the couch and padded over to the patiently waiting dog.
…
Guesthouse – 22:36
The dog, of course, was allowed to stay at the guesthouse too, as grandma could never say no to her grandson. Lucy and Ona had walked along to the guesthouse to make sure the boys settled in comfortably. Oliver had brought a card game, and Lucas had chosen a book he wanted to be read from.
Lucy had made sure to leave the iPad in the livingroom of the guesthouse, reminding Oliver that if he woke up early, he could use it in the living room without waking Lucas or his grandparents. It was something they aggreed with him, after Oliver had spent a full week climbing into their bed at the crack of dawn because ‘he couldn’t sleep anymore’.
They had all gathered around the pull-out couch as Diane read the book aloud. It had originally been just for Lucas, but Ollie had climbed into bed too, at Ona’s suggestion. As expected, both boys had quickly drifted off.
After a short chat with Joaquim and Diane, who were just as tired and planned to read a little before heading to bed, Ona and Lucy made their way back to the main house. Lucy had reassured her parents multiple times that they should call or come by if anything was wrong.
The cold air greeted them as they stepped outside, and Lucy instinctively wrapped an arm around her wife. She pulled Ona close, pressing a kiss to her temple. “Love you,” she murmured softly.
Ona chuckled. “Mmm, are you about to get all romantic on me?”
Lucy smirked and moved behind Ona, draping herself over her as they walked. She rested her chin in the crook of Ona’s neck. “Mhm. Gonna put on some music...” she whispered, placing a kiss on Ona’s neck. “Turn on the nice lighting...” another kiss followed. “Maybe we’ll even dance a little...” she murmered, holding Ona’s hip and tugging her a bit closer.
Ona giggled, her wife’s antics could still make her feel giddy like the first times they where together.
‘’Come.’’ Lucy said, placing one last kiss to the side of Ona’s face before stepping besides her again, jokingly slapping her ass a couple of times. ‘’lets get inside.’’
…
As promised Lucy had put some music on. Her and Ona held eachother while the soft sounds of a romantic song filled their bedroom.
Lucy’s hands rested low on Ona’s hips, fingers tracing paterns softly. She dipped her head, brushing her lips against Ona’s ear. “Pick up where we left off this morning?” Lucy murmured.
Ona smiled, tilting her head to meet Lucy’s gaze. “I’ve actually been thinking about something.”
“Oh yeah?’’ Lucy raised an eyebrow, a cheeky smile forming on her lips. ‘’What’s on your mind?” She asked, thinking maybe Ona had fantasized about a new position or something.
“Do you remember what you said in the shower?” Ona asked, her voice sly, wearing a small smirk on her lips. “About how you won me over with good sex?”
Lucy grinned, a low chuckle escaping her. “Mhm, I remember our fun little hate dynamic thing we had going on back then.”
Ona rolled her eyes with a soft laugh. “It wasn’t hate, but sure,” she said lightly. “Anyway, for some reason I was thinking back about that one night, when you shoved that blouse in my mouth.” She paused, watching Lucy’s eyes darken. “Remember? when u did those makeshift cuffs from your belt... that night was... something else.’’
‘’Mhm, I remember.’’ Lucy nodded, biting her lip. She observerd Ona attentively, questioning where Ona was going with this.
Ona played with the collar of Lucy’s shirt, ‘’What was it, like eight years ago?”
Lucy leaned back slightly, mock offense on her face, “are you really saying I haven’t done anything like that since?”
Ona laughed, her fingers lightly tracing patterns on Lucy’s chest. “You still bring it sometimes, don’t get me wrong,” she said, her tone teasing. “But I’m talking about that energy you had back then” She pressed closer, her lips brushing under Lucy’s jaw. “Especially like that night” her voice dropped slightly, her breath felt warm against Lucy’s skin. “That was a good night.” She pressed a kiss there, then another lower. “And I love how sweet you are to me now,” another kiss, slower this time, “but I’ve just been thinking about it a little bit today.”
Lucy huffed a small laugh, her hands sliding down Ona’s back. “I like making love to you better now. You’re my wife.” Pulling Ona closer with her hands on her ass.
“I can rile you up,” Ona whispered, her hands slipping under Lucy’s shirt, nails dragging lightly along her skin.
Lucy smirked, tilting her head to look down at Ona. “Oh yeah? How will you rile me up?” Her tone was playful, “You can cook now. You gave birth to our beautiful kids. You’re perfect.”
Ona rolled her eyes and leaned in close to Lucy. "Maybe I'll reveal what more I bought you for your birthday." She whispered.
Lucy chuckled, her hands sliding up Ona's sides before resting on her hips. "Ona," she murmured, her lips brushing over her wife's jawline, "let me just make you feel good, baby."
Ona tilted her head, her smirk teasing as her fingers toyed with the hem of Lucy’s shirt. She hooked her fingers behind Lucy’s belt, tugging her closer. "Or," she purred, drawing the word out, "maybe you won’t be so shocked anymore… because you’ve become just as much of a snob as I am?"
Lucy raised an eyebrow, her lips curving into a smirk. Without a word, she gripped Ona’s thighs and lifted her, pressing her firmly against the wall. The gasp Ona let out went into a breathless laugh.
"Oh you’re really after it, aren’t you, ma’am?" Lucy chuckled.
Ona’s mouth opened, ready to talk back, but Lucy didn’t give her the chance. Their lips crashed together in an urgent kiss, their tongues fighting for dominance as their hands moved hurriedly.
Fingers tugged at shirts, plucked at buttons, peeled away fabric until they stood naked, except for the jewelry they had on.
Lucy guided them to the bed, their lips never breaking apart while she lowered Ona gently onto the mattress.
Ona grinned against Lucy’s mouth, her voice sounded breathy as her hands roamed Lucy’s lower back. “There she is,” she murmured teasingly. “There’s my woman.”
Lucy hummed, her lips grazing the curve of Ona’s neck. “Oh, I was here all along, baby,” she whispered. “But keep talking, I love it when you try to be a brat.” She shifted back onto her knees, pulling Ona’s thighs over her hips as her hands began to trace the length of her wife’s legs.
Her gaze was locked on Ona’s face, taking in the flush that colored her skin.
After a moment Lucy shifted again. She leaned down, pressing slow kisses along Ona’s thigh, taking her time. Her lips lingered, her warm breath ghosting over the sensitive skin. "Still want to drag this out?" Lucy murmured, her voice sounding teasing as she reached the sensitive dip below Ona’s hipbone.
Ona arched slightly, her breathing uneven. "Yes," she whispered, but her tone betrayed her anticipation, the need building in her voice.
Lucy chuckled, the sound low and throaty, as her fingers slid along Ona’s sides, her touch was featherlight. She loved the effect she had on her wife.
Her hands gripped Ona’s hips, holding her down as she kissed her way lower. "You’re so perfect," Lucy murmured between kisses.
She leaned back for a moment, just to admire her. Watching the way her chest rose and fell, the want in her gaze. "I could look at you like this forever."
Ona bit on her finger, a soft chuckle escaping her. "Babe," she teased, her voice was playful but a little unsteady. "You’re getting soppy again."
Lucy tilted her head, grinning as she leaned in to press a kiss to Ona’s collarbone. "What, I can’t compliment my wife now?" she teased acting mock-offended. She paused, hovering over Ona with a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Don’t you think I decide that?"
Ona’s fingers tangled in Lucy’s hair, tugging her closer, guiding her toward her chest. "Please, Luce decide whatever you want, but just fuck me," she said impatiently.
‘’I don’t understand baby.’’ Lucy smirked, her hands pinning Ona’s wrists above her head as she hovered over her again. ‘’You’re saying one thing and doing another?" she mused, ‘’do you want me to take controle or not?’’
"Luce," Ona groaned, squirming under her. "Do me."
Lucy bit her lip and shook her head amused. She kissed her way down Ona’s body again, teasingly slow.
Ona’s breath hitched as Lucy’s soft lips reached her stomach.
"Relax, baby," Lucy murmured against her skin, the warmth of her breath sending shivers along Ona’s spine. ‘’I’ll give you what you want.’’
Ona whimpered when Lucy finally dipped lower, her kisses moving to the inside of her thighs. Her thighs parted instinctively, her body was buzzing with anticipation.
Lucy’s tongue teased her, drawing a shaky gasp from Ona’s lips.
"Lucy," Ona whimpered, her fingers twisting in the sheets.
Lucy pulled back slightly. Ona saw her lips glistening as she smirked.
"Always taste so good," she murmured before diving back in, her hands gripping Ona’s thighs to keep her steady.
Ona writhed beneath her, unable to keep still as Lucy ate her pussy in a way that had never faltered in all their years together. She let her body relax on the matress, giving in to the pleasure.
After a few moments Ona’s breathing changed, telling Lucy she was close.
"Not yet," Lucy whispered. She kissed her way back up with open-mouthed kisses until she reached Ona’s neck. Her hands were everywhere. On Ona’s hips, her ribs, sliding along her sides, Lucy just wanted to feel her.
"Lucy," Ona tried, but her voice broke into a whimper as Lucy pressed a kiss just above her collarbone, her teeth grazing the skin lightly. She wanted to mark her wife. "Not in my neck," Ona managed to breathe out, shivering. Having just enough clarity to think about tomorrow’s party. "Luce-"
Lucy obeyed wordlessly, kissing down until her lips found a spot just below Ona’s nipple to mark instead, leaving a dark bruise behind.
She pulled back to admire her work, her gaze flicking up to meet Ona’s flushed face. "Perfect," she said softly.
Lucy placed a couple of soft kisses up to Ona’s face before pulling back just enough to meet her eyes. There was a beat of silence, charged with something unspoken as Lucy leaned in. They kissed, Lucy’s thigh pressing instinctively between Ona’s legs.
Ona hummed in response, her fingers digging into Lucy’s shoulders.
Breaking the kiss just enough to speak, Ona’s breath brushed over Lucy’s lips. “Your cock es lo único en lo que he pensado today.” she murmured, her tone sounding both begging and commanding. Her hands slid up, resting against Lucy’s chest as she pushed urging her to move. “I need you, Luce. Please, put it on for me.”
Lucy pulled back. “Need me?” she repeated. Her hands wandered down Ona’s sides, a deliberate slowness that made Ona squirm. “You’re being a little impatient, mamas.” She smirked.
Despite her teasing, Lucy shifted off the bed, the grin still on her face as she walked to the dresser. Ona propped herself up on her elbows, watching Lucy rummage through the drawer.
When Lucy turned back with the strap and lube in hand Ona’s breath hitched, her thighs pressing together. God, she had been waiting for this all day.
Lucy caught Ona’s gaze, she raised her eyebrow as she strapped the harness around her hips, tightening it with practiced ease. She smugly let Ona watch her. She knew she was good at sex, but especially wearing the strap always give her this special feeling. The way Ona gave herself to her.
“Careful,” Lucy teased. “You’re drooling.”
Ona blush darkened but she didn’t look away, her eyes stayed glued to Lucy as she watched her coat the strap in lube. It was hot seeing Lucy run the thick rubber strap through her hands.
At the edge of the bed, Lucy grabbed Ona by her thighs, tugging her forward until she was perched right at the edge. Ona giggled softly, this was exactly the attitude she had been looking for.
“Luce…” Ona’s voice was barely a whisper now, thick with anticipation, her fingers digging in the bedspread.
Lucy cupped Ona’s cheek for a brief moment, before letting her thumb run over Ona’s bottom lip. Ona opened her mouth and let Lucy slip two fingers in. Ona made eyecontact with Lucy as she sucked on the digits before circling them with her tongue.
When Lucy was pleased with Ona’s work she let her fingers trail down, leaving a trail of Ona’s saliva behind before slipping between her legs.
As Lucy's fingers brushed against Ona’s heat, a smirk tugged at her lips. Their eyes stayed locked, and Ona knew exactly what that smirk meant. Lucy didn’t have to say a word, Ona could hear it in her head. But still her cheeks flushed deeper, because she was really wet and they both knew Lucy was the reason.
Lucy curled two fingers inside, drawing a groan from Ona.
“Mhm, I know, baby,” Lucy murmured. She leaned on her elbow planted on the bed next to Ona’s shoulder, her hand below Ona’s neck. She liked being close to Ona like this.
When Ona’s hips began to buck against her hand, Lucy pulled back. “So greedy,” she chuckled, reaching down to guide the strap to Ona’s entrance. ‘’I’ll give you more don’t worry.’’
Lucy pushed the strap in slowly, watching the way Ona’s lips parted.
Ona’s head fell back as she adjusted to the stretch. This was her favourite strap, it was a bit softer then their other straps.
‘’Mh fuck,’’ Ona breathed as Lucy started moving, she reached to cup her own chest.
“There we go,” Lucy muttered, “always so good for me.”
Lucy’s hips thrusted setting a steady rhythm. The wet sounds and the rhythmic slapping of skin against skin blended with the soft music playing in the background, joined by Ona’s moans, and the praises Lucy murmured between thrusts.
Ona’s body arched into her, her legs trembling as Lucy’s hands gripped her thighs.
Lucy shifted, lifting Ona’s legs over her shoulders. She wanted more, she wanted to fill Ona deeper.
"You feel so good," Lucy whispered, gripping Ona’s hips, leaning into Ona so her calves where flush against her chest.
Ona moaned as the new angle made Lucy hit that sweet spot again and again, her nails dug into the back of her own thighs. "More," Ona pleaded.
Lucy obliged, gripping Ona's waist to pull her closer as she sank the strap into her all the way to the base with every thrust.
Ona’s moans turned into broken whines as she teetered on the edge of release.
"That’s it," Lucy whispered, her voice hoarse from effort. "Let it go baby."
Ona came with a shuddering gasp, her body clenching around the strap.
Lucy slowed, helping Ona ride out her orgasm.
"Fucking beautiful," Lucy murmured, she let Ona’s legs down gently and leaned in, holding her close.
Lucy stayed there for a moment holding her hips still as she soothed Ona with gentle kisses until her breathing slowed.
She looked down at her wife with a satisfied smirk on her face. "You good, baby?"
Ona nodded, her eyes half-lidded.
Lucy’s lips brushed over Ona's damp skin, "I love you so much," she whispered.
All Ona could manage to let out was a hum.
After a moment, Lucy shifted, carefully pulling out. She reached down to unbuckle the harness, letting the strap fall to the floor with a thud and reached to the nightstand, putting off the music.
Her hands smoothed over Ona’s thighs.
Lucy smiled as Ona’s legs instinctively parted. She settled herself between her legs, pressing a kiss to the inside of one thigh before sliding her hands under Ona’s hips, lifting her slightly. Ona’s slickness glistened as it caught the dimmed light. Lucy felt a flutter between her own legs as she caught the smell of her wife. She leaned in, her tongue running up Ona’s sensitive folds, lapping up her essence.
Ona let out a soft, breathy moan, her hands moving to tangle in Lucy's hair. "Luce," she whimpered.
"Shh," Lucy whispered against her, her voice vibrating against Ona’s core. ‘’You can give me one more, baby.’’
Lucy’s tongue circled Ona’s clit. Ona’s body reacted instantly, her hips twitching as a whimper escaped her throat.
It wasn’t long before Ona’s breathing became quicker, her grip in Lucy’s hair tightening as her legs quivered.
Lucy groaned against her. She latched onto her clit, sucking down as her hands tightened their hold on Ona’s thighs, keeping her in place.
"L-Luce," Ona gasped, her voice cracking as her body arched off the bed.
Lucy continued, wanting to bring Ona over the edge again, she knew Ona could take it.
It didn’t take long before Ona’s body tensed, her thighs clamping around Lucy’s head as she let out a shuddering cry, her second release crashing through her.
Lucy slowed as Ona rode out the aftershocks.
When Ona finally relaxed, Lucy pulled back slightly, pressing soft kisses to Ona’s inner thighs before crawling back up to meet her face.
"That’s my girl," Lucy murmured. She kissed Ona’s forehead, then her nose, then her lips, her hands brushing back the hair from Ona’s face. Ona smiled sleepily.
Lucy carefully maneuvered them both to the middle of the bed, her hands cupping Ona’s face for a moment.
Ona was a sight, she was completely undone but she looked glowing. Lucy leaned down, nuzzling her nose against Ona.
Ona pulled Lucy in for a kiss. "Cuddles," she whispered needily.
Lucy smiled into the kiss, her arms wrapping around Ona. "Ofcourse," she whispered back. She pulled Ona close, feeling her warmth against her. Lucy kissed Ona’s temple before resting her head back on the pillow.
A comfortable quiet settled between them. Lucy’s hand found Ona’s, lacing their fingers together, holding her with a softness that was reserved only for her wife.
Ona’s head nestled against Lucy’s chest, as she recovered from her orgasms.
Lucy kissed the top of her head, her fingers tracing lazy patterns on Ona’s back.
"Can we just stay like this forever?" Ona mumbled, her voice barely above a whisper. She laid comfortably with her cheek against Lucy’s warm skin.
Lucy smiled, her fingers brushing up and down Ona’s back. “Wouldn’t mind that,” she murmured before pressing a gentle kiss to the crown of Ona’s head.
Ona’s hands began to wonder, tracing the lines along Lucy’s toned stomach. She shifted to kiss Lucy’s neck.
“You don’t have to, babe,” Lucy said quietly as Ona kissed down, now reaching her nipple. But her tone came out unconvincing as a shiver ran through her at Ona’s touch.
Ona didn’t reply. Instead she smiled and tilted her head up to press a kiss to Lucy’s lips, silencing any further protests.
Lucy relaxed beneath her as Ona trailed her lips down her jawline, then her neck, leaving a trail of kisses until she was at her hips. She guided Lucy’s legs apart, settling herself between them.
Lucy’s breath hitched when Ona’s lips brushed over a sensitive spot just below her hip, the featherlight touch sending a rush of heat through her.
Her fingers threaded through Ona’s hair, gathering it into a ponytail.
Ona glanced up meeting Lucy’s gaze. A blush colored Ona’s cheeks as she caught the look in Lucy’s eyes. Lucy could look at her so hungry but impossibly loving all at once. She loved that look, it always made her want to give Lucy everything she wanted.
She lowered herself again. After all these years she knew exactly what worked for Lucy. She knew Lucy’s body like her own.
With her tongue she sucked on Lucy’s clit as her fingers teased her entrance.
The hand in Ona’s hair tightened, silently urging her on.
Lucy spread her legs wider, giving Ona full access with her feet pressing flat against the mattress, knees falling open.
Lucy's soft groans filled the room, her chest rising and falling as pleasure coursed through her.
Ona’s free hand tightened on Lucy’s thigh as Lucy's body began to tense.
“Fuck, Ona” Lucy groaned, her voice cracking as her release washed over her. Her grip on Ona’s hair tightened as her body shuddered from coming undone.
Ona didn’t stop until Lucy gently urged her away. She kissed her way back up Lucy’s torso, lingering over every freckle and every curve of her wifes body until she reached her face.
Lucy cupped Ona’s cheek, pulling her into a slow kiss, their breaths mingling as they tasted themselves on eachothers tongue.
Settling back against the pillows, Lucy wrapped her arms around Ona, holding her close as their bodies relaxed in the afterglow.
They laid there quietly, looking in to eachothers eyes lovingly. God, Lucy felt still so in love with this women after all those years. Ona was the love of her life, every day she thanked the lucky stars that things had worked out like this.
..
After a couple of moments Lucy leaned over and pressed a kiss to Ona’s forehead before sliding out of bed. “Be right back, baby”
Ona watched her, one eyebrow raised. “where are you going?”
“Toilet,” Lucy said as she disappeared into the bathroom.
A minute later, Ona heard the sound of running water and rolled onto her side, propping her head on her hand. “Are you running a bath?”
“Yeah,” Lucy called back, ‘’thought it could be a nice seal to this perfect day, or is it too late?’’
Ona nodded sleepily.
When Lucy came back after a moment, she walked over to the bed. “Do you want to have a bath with me?”
Ona groaned theatrically but swung her legs over the side of the bed. “I’m tired.”
Lucy laughed, ‘’do I need to carry you?’’
‘’No,’’ Ona chuckled as she walked towards their bathroom.
Lucy helped her into the warm water and climbed in after her, settling in between Ona and the tub so Ona could lean back against her.
Ona let out a long sigh as she relaxed her muscles.
“Good?” Lucy asked, her hands resting lightly on Ona’s thighs beneath the water.
“Mm-hmm,” Ona murmured. “Very good.”
“You’re very good,” Lucy joked, placing a kiss to Ona’s temple.
“What?” Ona chuckled, turning her head slightly to meet Lucy’s eyes.
Lucy gave a small shrug, brushing a damp strand of hair away from Ona’s face. “Just that I love you very much.”
Ona smiled, turning back to rest her head on Lucy’s shoulder. “I love you very much too.”
They sat quietly for a while, the only sound the splashing of water as one of them shifted slightly.
Eventually, Ona broke the silence.
“Did you have a good day?” she asked, her voice softer now.
Lucy pressed a kiss to the top of Ona’s head and smiled. “Yeah, it was perfect.’’ She hummed as she thought back, ‘’A great breakfast to start, the beautiful watch you gave me, that lunch Soph ordered’’ she smiled as she thought back to the kebabs they had, ‘’having my parents here for dinner, and a chocolate dessert that I’m still thinking about. The boys staying over at theirs is a nice little bonus.” She tilted her head slightly, her voice dropping playfully. “But my favorite part was definitely the second dessert.’’
Ona hummed. “so a good day, eventhough you helped setting up your own party for tomorrow?”
“Ofcourse,” Lucy said. “I loved doing that with you and Soph, you two have done the most anyways, you have been planning it for weeks.”
“You make it sound like I planned some big event. It’s just dinner with our friends and family.”
Lucy smiled and kissed the side of Ona’s head. “Mhm, you’re not making me talk to random people, that’s exactly my kind of party.”
Ona smiled. ‘’I know you love small and low-key.”
“Mhm, and to be loved is to be known,” Lucy said, her hands running softly up and down Ona’s arms. “I feel very loved.”
“I am happy you had a good day,” Ona said, letting her head tilt back against Lucy again, ‘’and my favourite thing was definetly the second desert too.’’
…
When the water cooled, they climbed out, drying off quickly. Ona grabbed Lucy’s pyjama from this morning off the chair and slipped it on.
‘’Hey,’’ Lucy said acting offended, coming out of the bathroom too, ‘’what am I supposed to wear then? Your pj doesn’t fit me.’’ She mocked.
‘’You have more pj’s then this one,’’ Ona said, rolling her eyes but quickly getting in to bed because she knew she was being cheeky. She just felt like wearing Lucy’s pj from time to time, and she knew deep down Lucy didn’t mind.
Lucy pulled on some other pajama pants and a t-shirt, before also stepping in to bed.
Back in bed, Ona nestled against Lucy, her leg sliding between Lucy’s as she got comfortable.
“Hey,” Lucy said softly, brushing her hand along Ona’s back. “Thanks for everything today.”
“You’ve already said that,” Ona mumbled, her voice sleepy.
“I know. Just wanted to say it again.”
Ona smiled against Lucy’s skin. “You’re very welcome, Luce.”
Lucy pressed a kiss to Ona´s damp hair, ´´Night, my love.´´
´´Somnia’m, amor.´´
They laid in comfortable silence and Lucy felt Ona’s breathing slowing as she started to drift off.
Lucy closed her eyes, letting the warmth of Ona’s body against hers lull her to sleep too.

Back home p.15
Hii guyss, here's part 15 of the story. If you want to read more stories of mine here's my masterlist and if you missed part 14, here it is.
Your life in Monaco was idyllic, growing up alongside the Leclercs. But everything changes when you're forced to leave. Now, returning to the place you once called home, you're confronted with a dilemma: not one, but two Leclerc brothers vying for your heart. Old bonds and unresolved emotions collide-what will you do when the past and present merge in unexpected ways?
Charles had secured fourth place in qualifying, a strong result for the weekend. You had cheered loudly from the paddock, your heart swelling with pride at his performance. But the excitement of the day couldn’t shake the nervous energy bubbling inside you. By the time Charles finished his debrief and met you outside the Ferrari motorhome, you were barely holding it together.
“Ready to head back?” he asked, his eyes soft as he smiled at you.
You nodded, following him silently to the car. The drive to the hotel felt different from usual—quieter, heavier. Charles glanced at you a few times, his brows furrowing slightly, but he didn’t press. Once inside your room, the dam broke. You couldn’t keep it in any longer.
You began pacing, wringing your hands as your thoughts raced. Charles watched you from the bed, concern etched across his face.
“Y/N,” he said gently, standing up. “What’s going on? You’ve been acting strange all day.”
You stopped pacing, turning to him. His genuine worry only made the lump in your throat grow. “Charles… I need to talk to you about something,” you said, your voice trembling.
He nodded, taking a cautious step toward you. “Okay. Talk to me.”
Taking a deep breath, you said, “I need to know how you feel about me. Because I think… I think I’m starting to catch feelings for you, and I need to know if I’m just imagining everything. If I’m just… one of the girls you’re talking to.”
His expression shifted to one of surprise, and for a moment, he said nothing. Then, he smiled—a soft, genuine smile that made your heart skip a beat.
“You’re not just one of the girls, Y/N,” he said, his voice steady and warm. He stepped closer, his hands gently taking yours. “You’re the girl. The only one.”
Your breath caught, your heart hammering in your chest. “You… you like me?” you whispered.
He chuckled, the sound low and comforting. “I’ve had feelings for you for a while now,” he admitted. “I didn’t want to ruin what we had, so I kept quiet. But seeing you here, supporting me this weekend—it’s made me realize how much I want you by my side.”
A tear slipped down your cheek, and Charles reached up to brush it away. “I actually wanted to give you this tomorrow, after the race,” he said, his voice soft. “But now feels like the right time.”
He pulled a small box from his pocket and opened it, revealing a delicate necklace with a red heart pendant. The color shimmered like the Ferrari red you’d seen on the track, vibrant and beautiful.
“Charles…” you murmured, your voice breaking.
“I wanted you to have something to remind you how important you are to me,” he said, unclasping the necklace. “May I?”
You nodded, your hands shaking slightly as you turned around. He fastened the necklace around your neck, his fingers lingering for a moment against your skin. When you turned back to face him, his gaze was full of warmth and something deeper.
“Thank you,” you said, your voice barely audible. “It’s beautiful.”
“You’re beautiful,” he replied, his hand cupping your cheek as he leaned closer.
For a moment, it felt like the rest of the world had disappeared. But then, Charles pulled back slightly, his expression turning serious. “Can I ask you something?”
You nodded, your stomach knotting at the shift in his tone.
“Who told you I was talking to other girls?” he asked, his voice calm but firm.
You hesitated, guilt twisting in your chest. But you knew you couldn’t lie to him. “Arthur,” you said quietly, your gaze dropping to the floor.
Charles stiffened, his jaw tightening as he processed your words. “Arthur,” he repeated, his tone unreadable.
You looked up at him, your eyes searching his for any sign of anger or betrayal. Instead, his gaze softened as he took a deep breath. “We’ll deal with that later,” he said, his fingers brushing against the pendant around your neck. “Right now, all that matters is us.”
He pulled you into his arms, holding you close as you felt the weight of the moment settle between you. Despite the tension, there was a sense of peace—a feeling that, no matter what came next, you and Charles would face it together.

one of the girls
part 2. the escalation
read part 1. here
Chris Sturniolo was bad news. You knew it, every girl within a 100 mile radius knew it. Your own brother had warned you to stay away from him, despite being his best friend. That didn’t stop you from wanting him though.
pairing: chris x reader
pt.2 summary:
warnings: ABSOLUTE FILTH, very very plot heavy, rough sex, oral, choking, over-stimulation, mild bdsm, p in v, degradation, slight age gap, zero communication, angst
word count: 6.9K (lmao i think this is going to be a thing)
author's note: so, i found out as i was writing this that @worldlxvlys has a fic with a very similar premise because its inspired by the same song, check it out if u havent already, its so fucking good
Sex with Chris became frequent after that night at the party.
It was a rush, like being swept up in a storm, each moment together like a collision between two giant forces. Rough, loud, painful, and so, so satisfying.
You were currently on your knees, face pressed against the coarse carpet that covered the floor of your bedroom and your ass high in the air, being pounded by the guy who had taken up significant space in your life over the years.
Thank the lucky stars you were home alone tonight, because there would have been no doubt about what was happening in your room.
“Fuck, fuck-” Chris groans, and you feel the way he grips your ass and spreads you apart, likely to watch his own dick moving in and out of your stretched-out pussy. “You’re always so fucking tight-” he says, punctuating his words with hard thrusts.
All you can do is moan loudly against the carpet, your mouth agape as you squeeze around his unrelenting thrusts. You can’t even tell how long it goes, only that he makes you cum, over and over, until he eventually chases his own release.
The clean-up that followed the sex was always quick but efficient, always done in silence. And once Chris was done with that, he always left with a quick kiss and pat to the cheek.
Sex with Chris hurt in the best way possible, and left you craving for more. And he never kept you waiting for long. You don’t think too hard about all the other places he must be getting sex, all you focus on is the fact that he always comes to you eventually, even if you don’t call for him.
-------------------------------------
“Chris-” you whine against his mouth as he thrusts up into you, the head of his dick ramming into that spongy bundle of nerves inside you that whites out your vision and has you gasping for air. Your hands find purchase on his shoulders, nails digging into the fabric of his t-shirt, stretching it as you pull, pull, pull, while he pushes, pushes, pushes into you, his lips sliding over your cheek, barely audible groans escaping him as he holds you back against the counter in this random bathroom at this random house party.
The noise outside the bathroom is loud enough to drown out the sounds of Chris fucking you, devouring you, and your head thrums from the bass, the sensation in your body reduced to just that spot inside you, your lower back, where the edge of the counter digs into your skin, likely leaving bruises, and your hips, where Chris’ hands grab and knead at the flesh as he drags you down onto his cock while thrusting up into you, over and over and over.
If anyone noticed how you limped for the rest of the night, no one pointed it out.
-------------------------------------
Another party, another chase. You’d spent a good hour and a half keeping Chris on his toes as you trailed from room to room, flirting with other guys and getting increasingly tipsy. At least, that’s what you’d thought, until you spotted him leaning over some girl, trailing his fingers up her thigh.
You’d decided to just grab the guy closest to you, quickly ask for his name before demanding that you kiss him, and he does, does it with fervor as he runs his hands all over you, trailing them up over the back of your thighs before kneading your ass cheeks over your jeans, pulling you close. Through the corner of your eye, you see Chris, now kissing the girl he had been talking to, except his eyes are locked onto yours.
You watch the corner of his lips lift slightly, and you feel like you keep losing this game you created in your head.
Ten minutes later, Chris has you on your knees on the bathroom floor, the cold tiles digging into your skin as he shoves his dick into your willing, open mouth. He uses you, makes you choke and gag on it, tears streaming down your face and spit trailing down your chin as he thrusts it in and out of you.
Another ten minutes, before he comes down your throat and shoves you off his cock, leaving you gasping for air.
He doesn’t say a word as he extends his leg forward, pressing the toe of his shoe against your clothed cunt, rubbing it against your jeans.
You know what he wants. So you give it to him.
You rut against his shoe, clawing at his leg as you sob and beg for more.
“What was that?” he asks with a mocking tone. “You want to get fucked?”
You nod furiously, forehead pressed against his thigh.
“Go ask that guy you were all over earlier.”
That was the first night you’d kissed a guy that wasn’t Chris, and in front of him too. It was also the first night he’d left you without making you cum.
-------------------------------------
Chris had one hand clamped tightly over your mouth, while the other was trapped between you, furiously stroking over his dick while he rutted against your stomach.
You’d barely had the time to process it at the time, but Chris had climbed into your room through the open window and proceeded to pin you down on your bed and kiss you fiercely.
That was a few hours ago. Since then he had fucked you twice, once on your back, before he’d flipped you over and fucked you on your knees, your face pushed into your duvet and his hand still clamped over your mouth to make sure you didn’t get too loud.
“You’re so good, you always take it so well.”
“Such a good girl for me, you like that don’t you?”
“You’re mine, yeah? Tell me. Only mine.”
“One more, you can take one more right?”
And you did take more, over and over and over again. Because it felt good. Only because it felt so good, despite the growing pang in your chest that became stronger every time Chris left.
-------------------------------------
Chris was…an enigma.
Despite the casual nature of your ‘relationship’, Chris tended to say and do things that confused you. And perhaps that was what got so many girls hooked onto him. The way he treated you like you were all his, all that he wanted, even though his womanizing nature was well-known.
At first, it seemed like a calculated move on his part, like he knew exactly what he was implying with his words and actions, a vague promise for more, even when both he and his girls knew there was no chance of it happening.
The more time you spent with him however, the more clear it became that Chris seemed almost sincere most of the time. Or maybe that was the delusional part of you, hoping he might be?
Is this what all the other girls he’s with go through? A constant spiral of wondering what was real and wasn’t, with their relationship with Chris?
A soft snore pulls you out of your thoughts and back to reality, where Chris, the man who usually doesn’t stay long once he’s done the deed, was now sleeping under your covers, one arm slung across your middle, while you leaned against your pillows.
It was surreal, seeing him like this, looking the most vulnerable you’ve ever seen him. You’d expected him to help clean you up and leave as soon as he’d fucked you, but instead, he’d stayed, waited for you to take a quick shower, before he too snuck into your bathroom to clean up and eventually crawled back under your covers.
It wasn’t the first time he’d stayed, but you still find yourself asking-
“What are you doing?”
“Shh, I’m tired, let’s sleep for a bit,” he mumbles, eyes already closed, one arm hanging off the edge of your bed, while the other pulls you close.
“Isn’t this like, against your rule or something?” you ask, trying to fight back the urge to cuddle up against him and run your fingers through his hair. It looked so soft, fanning against your pillow, the moonlight creating a slight halo around him.
He looked beautiful.
“Do you do this with your other girls?” Another question you’d asked before, the first time he’d slept over.
All he does is hum dismissively in response, just like last time.
You settle down under the covers, relishing in the warmth of Chris’ body, exhaustion from your earlier activities settling into your bones as the fresh scent of your own body wash wafting off of both of your skins sends you off into a dreamless sleep.
Hours later, just before sunrise, you’re startled awake by the sound of a branch hitting your window. It was still dark, but there was the noticeable lack of a body next to you, and the warmth that was quickly fading.
That was the one of the rare nights when Chris had stayed the night. And just like always, he left without a trace, the only reminder of his presence being the soreness between your legs and used condoms and tissues in the waste basket under your desk.
-------------------------------------
You knew this was getting out of hand.
Things were only escalating with Chris. What had started out as an experiment of sorts, a game, one that barely had rules to begin with, was starting to feel like a trap. The way he was attentive and disinterested in equal measure, the way he was so attuned to your pleasure and somehow still came across as a selfish jerk who only cared for his own, the way he always, always made it hurt in just the right way…it was almost degrading how exhilarated it made you feel.
You hadn’t accounted for how addictive Chris would become.
Speaking of addiction, you were currently experiencing withdrawal symptoms.
You pull out your phone and scroll through the last few texts you’d exchanged with Chris.
> Can i come over?
> uh..is everything okay?
> Yeah.
> Why?
> u usually just.. show up lol, why’re u asking this time?
> Heard you were prepping for college apps
> yeah
> Busy?
> kinda? u can still come over if u want..
> it’s been a while
> Have you been counting the days since we last fucked? Lol
> shut up ohmygod
> r u coming over or not?
> Yeah, gimme a few.
> okay
That had been a week ago. Chris had never showed up.
You had tried your best to ignore how hurt you’d felt. You’d instead just focused on your applications, working on your essays and filling out endless forms. You’d even gone out with your friends to take your mind off of everything, attempted to hook up with another older guy at a bar, but he’d turned out to be much older, and married at that, which had put you in an even more sour mood than before. You’d promptly decided to go back home then.
Your shitty mood must have been really obvious, because your brother, who was back home for break from college, showed up at your bedroom door, leaning against the frame as he watched you do your nightly skincare routine. He’d seen the way you’d walked up to your room, scowl so deep with a faraway look in your eyes.
“Did something happen at the bar?” he asked, stepping into your room and closing the door to make sure your parents wouldn’t overhear your conversation.
You pause, watching him through your vanity mirror as he flops onto your bed, displacing your carefully placed pillows and plushies, sending one of them tumbling to the ground.
A deep inhale.
“No, nothing happened,” you say with a deep sigh. “Well, there was this one guy-”
“Fucking hell, what’d he do?” your brother interrupts.
“Relax, nothing happened. He was flirting with me, but turns out he was married. Made me feel icky so I left right after.”
“Oh, okay. What a loser.”
“I know, right?”
You and your brother enjoy the special kind of comfortable silence that only being in each other’s company provided.
“You’ve been kind of off lately,” he finally says. “You wanna, um… you wanna talk about it?”
So much for comfortable silence.
After a few long seconds, you reply. “There’s nothing to talk about.”
“You’re kind of a shit liar, kid.”
You ignore him, focusing instead on smoothing some oil into your hair before braiding it. Behind you, your brother sighs, shifting on your bed. Incrementally, his sighs get louder, and he rolls back and forth on your bed, rustling up the covers and making an even bigger mess than before.
“Stop that, will you?” you snap at him, glowering at him through your mirror.
“I’m bored.”
“Go be bored anywhere else.”
“Not leaving until you tell me what’s been bothering you.”
“Get out.”
“Nuhuh.”
“You’re so annoying, oh my fucking god- stop messing up my bed!” you yell, chucking your hairbrush at him. You let out a satisfied chuckle when you hear a yelp.
Silence.
“Want to go on a drive? Like we used to?”
You turn to face your brother who is now sitting up on your bed, legs crossed as he picks at one of our plushies. When your don’t answer right away, he looks up at you, giving you a conspiratorial grin.
“Let’s sneak out and get food,” he whispers, eyes wide and eyebrows raised with a wolfish smile.
It makes you laugh, the idea of sneaking out as a fully grown adult with your older adult brother, and you won’t know until much later, but your brother had let out a sigh of relief at seeing you relax a bit.
Abandoning your plans to head to bed, you and your brother quietly make your way downstairs, grab your jackets and head out in his car, and everything felt simple again. The two of you used to do this a lot more often when he was still in school. Every time you seemed stressed, he would suggest an impromptu late night drive around the town, making stops at either a gas station or one of the many restaurants near you to get a late night snack.
You sat, once again in comfortable silence, listening to a song you didn’t recognize softly playing through the car radio, as the two of you dug into the lamb shawarmas you’d decided to get as tonight’s late night snack.
“Oh, this shit’s so fucking good,” your brother groaned through a big, messy bite, making you laugh and gag at the same time, and you shove at his shoulder, exclaiming about how gross he was being, before the two of you just end up shoving at each other and giggling like little kids.
You felt good. Normal.
“You know you can talk to me about anything right,” he says, sauce still smeared across his lip and cheek.
“I know, I know,” you say, as you shove a few napkins into his face.
“Unless it’s about sex. I don’t wanna hear about you fucking some dude. Or girl, I don’t care.”
“Wow, okay.”
“But if what’s got you down- and don’t lie, I know something’s up- has something to do with some guy- or girl, like I said, I don’t care- you’ll tell me if it gets too bad right?”
“Define ‘too bad’…,” you say, picking at the wrapper on your now half-eaten shawarma.
“Don’t want you to get hurt, kid, that’s all.”
You look up at your brother, who is looking straight ahead, still chowing on his food. You feel overwhelmed suddenly, and everything from the past week catches up to you.
The stress from wondering if you’ll get into college, the doubt from figuring out if college was even what you wanted to do, and then there was Chris, and oh, how could you tell your brother about any of that? He would absolutely flip, and you feel so ashamed.
You settle on telling him it’s just the stress of college applications.
“Right,” he says, drawing out the word. “Makes sense, makes sense. You know, if you need help with any of it, just let me know yeah?”
You weren’t going to ask him for help. You nod anyway.
“Oh, by the way,” your brother turns to you, leaning against the car door with an excited gleam in his eyes. “Did you hear? The triplets are going to L.A.!”
“What.”
“Yeah! Apparently, their channel is really hitting it off, so they’re like prepping to move there, ‘cause that’s where all the youtubers and influencers are, right? More opportunities and things like that. Isn’t that cool? I’m excited for ‘em.”
Your brother goes back to blissfully munching on his food, leaving you shell shocked and dazed.
“Yeah…good for them.”
-------------------------------------
The next couple of days went by in a blur. You threw yourself into applications, now extending them into a job search to desperately keep yourself occupied. The initial plan had been to take a gap year after school, which is why you’d been so lax with your college prep. Some of your friends had already heard back from their dream schools and were already preparing to move to different places for the upcoming academic year, some were already working, and you were just, in limbo. And you didn’t mind until now, until you’d realized that you’d end up getting left behind by everyone.
Even…Chris.
That asshole still hadn’t texted or called, and the only time you heard about him was through your brother when he’d vaguely mention about seeing the triplets when he went over to their house. You knew that you could just as well contact him, but pride and your hurt feelings kept you from doing so. Instead, you wallowed in shame and anger at having let this man leave you feeling so disoriented.
This wasn't the plan. The plan had been to hit it and quit it, see what the hype around Chris was all about but he’d managed to crawl under your skin, leave you wanting more.
Just as you’re about to work yourself into another spiral over the man, you hear a series of sharp taps against your bedroom window. You look up, startled, to find exactly the person you didn’t want to see right now.
“Since when do you lock your bedroom window?” you hear Chris ask, voice muffled through the glass.
You remain seated on your bed, leaning against your pillows, frozen, before you slowly pick your phone up from where you’d dropped it beside you, and pretend to mindlessly scroll through it.
“Let me in, babe, c’mon-”
A few more seconds go by, with Chris alternating between tapping your window and texting you to get your attention. Worried that he might end up waking the whole house, you finally make a move to open your window.
“I almost fell off that fucking tree waiting for you to-” Chris starts to say, but one look at your face has him stopping in his tracks.
“Hey, hey, what’s wrong?”
You weren’t sure what he was seeing, but you could feel a knot building up in your throat, a slight tremor in your limbs. The last thing you wanted to do was cry in front of this man.
“What do you want, Chris?” you ask, sitting down on the edge of your bed, refusing to look at him, instead focusing on a loose thread on your sheets, picking at it while trying to get your breathing under control.
You feel him step closer to you, until he’s standing right in front of you, your face now level with his waist. Chris’ hand comes up to grab your chin, lifting your head up with a gentleness that surprises you.
“You mad at me, baby?” he asks with a soft smile, and it throws you off, makes you angry, because why the fuck did he have to go sounding like a boyfriend coming home to a girlfriend who’d gotten upset over something trivial?
You huff, rolling your eyes at him, which makes him grab your chin slightly harder.
“Don’t give me that attitude right now,” he says, voice dropping an octave. “Why wouldn’t you let me in?”
Your attempt at looking passive was failing, and anger takes over, making you glare daggers at him.
“Two weeks, Chris. Almost two weeks of radio silence, and what, you expect me to just be here waiting for with open arms? What the fuck is wrong with you?” you spit out, smacking his arm away from you, making him let you go.
“Oh come on,” he drawls out, body going half limp as he lets his head roll back. “I got busy! Didn’t think you’d be this mad, and- and, hold on- I didn’t expect you to be waiting for me, I just don’t get why you’re mad!”
“You’re such an asshole.”
“Well yeah, but you already knew that, didn’t you,” he says with a cocky smile, hands reaching out to grab yours. “Stop being so upset, I’m here now, yeah?”
“You can’t just show up whenever it’s convenient for you and expect me to be okay with that. You made plans that night to come to me and just ghosted me! For weeks!”
He looks puzzled, like he genuinely doesn’t understand why you would be upset and that just makes you even more upset.
You feel like an afterthought to him. To a man who had taken up significant space in your life, you were just…nothing. And you can’t blame anyone but yourself for this situation you’re in because you knew **what you were getting into, you knew this was all it would be and yet…
“When were you going to tell me you were leaving?”
Chris freezes up, his fingers that were running up and down your arms stilling against your elbows.
After a brief pause, he sighs, dropping to his knees in front of you and burrowing his head into your lap, bringing your hands up around his shoulders.
“How’d you find out?” he asks, voice muffled against your t-shirt. “Wait, let me guess. Your big-mouth brother?”
That makes you chuckle. “Yeah, he mentioned it a few nights ago.”
“I wasn’t lying, I’ve been busy preparing to leave. Nick is the one working on the logistics mostly, but yeah…”
“You could’ve said something,” you whisper, hand coming up to hover over Chris’ head. It seems like Chris senses your hesitation, because he grabs your hand and places it on his head, which you take as permission to run your fingers through the soft strands, combing through the slight knots that were close to his nape and gently smoothing it out.
“We weren’t gonna tell anyone until we had everything figured out.”
“So how did my brother find out?”
“Stupid Matt probably mentioned it when he came over.”
In a distant part of your mind, you think about how weird this all is, having Chris like this, soft and vulnerable, so unlike his usual domineering self. You’re still upset with him, but it feels nice, having this Chris.
“I’m still mad at you.”
“I know. I didn’t wanna slip up and end up telling you, which is why I stayed away for a bit.”
“You still could’ve texted, told me something came up.”
“I know,” he whines. “Would you believe me if I said I did mean to text you but every time I thought about it, something else would come up and eventually I just…forgot.”
“Right. You forgot.”
The sharp pain in your chest was starting to feel normal in conjecture with Chris at this point. Of course he just forgot to text you, because that’s how insignificant you were to him.
You pull your hand away from his hair and gently try to move out from under him.
“When are you leaving?” you ask, sitting at your desk to put some physical distance between the two of you, even though your body was screaming to just fall into his arms.
Chris looks at you with an expression you can’t read, before moving to sit on your floor and lean against your bed frame, leaning his elbows over his knees.
“End of the week.”
“That’s two days away.”
He hums, letting his head drop back against your bed.
“Guess your roster of girls are going to have to find a new way to occupy their time, huh?” you say in hopes of lightening the mood.
It undoubtedly does the opposite.
Chris makes a noise that sounds somewhere between a laugh and a scoff. He lifts his head back up and fixes you with a gaze that makes you shiver, his eyes now cold and distant as he smirks up at you.
“One last fuck before I leave? You can find another guy after that, but I doubt anyone here is gonna be anywhere near as good as me,” he says as he runs his fingers through his hair.
And that’s how you find yourself under Chris, wrists caught in his hands and held up above your head as he fucks into you.
It’s different this time.
He watches you intently, and it makes you uncomfortable, his unrelenting gaze, but your focus is split between that and the fact that he’s fucking you with deep, slow drags of his cock against your inner walls. He’d eaten you out right before, worked you up and left you wet and sloppy, close to squirting before pushing into you, eyes locked onto your face as he slowly stretched you out.
You could feel it build up inside you, the pressure to release, but he was going slower than usual, focusing on fewer but deeper thrusts that left you biting into your lip to keep you from crying out loud.
“Tell me, who’s gonna fuck you like this, hm?” Chris asks, his free hand coming up to wrap around your throat. “Tell me.”
You gasp, your pussy clenching around him as he tightens his grip around your throat.
“No one,” you breathe out, voice low and rough from your throat being squeezed. “No one, no one else, please-”
“Yeah? You’re mine, aren’t you?”
You nod against his grip, near sobbing at this point, begging for him to just fuck you harder and let you cum.
“Say it. Say the words”
“I’m yours, I’m yours, please- please fuck me harder, please-”
Chris lets go of your wrists, but you keep them where they were, and he lets out a satisfied hum which has you preening.
Chris sits up, his hands moving to grab your hips, and you brace yourself to be fucked hard, but Chris keeps up with the slow pace still, as he pulls you onto his lap, making you cry out in frustration, a fresh set of pleas falling from your lips in hopes of urging him to just take from you like he usually does.
You watch through blurry, tear-filled vision as Chris runs his hands up your stomach, palming at your breasts while he bucks up into you.
“Chris, please…”
He ignores you, fingers now drawing invisible lines across the planes and curves of your body, thumbs dipping into the crease between your cunt and thighs, feeling you all over while he watches you with his intense blue eyes.
You almost miss it, what with the blood rushing in your ears and your own moans, but you hear Chris whisper, “I’m going to miss this.”
And that’s what sends you over the edge, the prospect of Chris missing you, even though a rational part of you knows it’s probably just the sex, just this, your warm body under his to be used by him.
Still, it makes you cum harder than you ever have before, leaves you sobbing and almost screaming. Chris holds down your body, your hips thrashing wildly as your cunt leaks and squeezes rhythmically around him, which sets him off and makes him come inside you.
Everything after that follows as usual. He rolls off of you, methodically cleans the both of you off, discards the used condoms and tissues, and tells you he’s leaving.
You watch as he makes his way to your window, back tense as he runs his fingers through his mussed up hair.
“Bye,” you whisper, trying to ignore the fact that it will be a while until you see him again in person. Months, maybe a year, instead of just a week and a half.
Chris turns then, and you can’t make out his expression in the dark, with his back lit by the moonlight.
You watch, breath catching in your throat as he makes his way back to you, hesitating for the first few steps.
He leans over you, knees bent awkwardly as he angles himself to your height. His hands come up to rest over your cheeks, thumbs rubbing across them, before he completely takes you by surprise with a final kiss.
It’s not the kiss itself that catches you off-guard, but the gentleness and timing of it. You and Chris have kissed before, in fact, you’d done it every time he’d fucked you, but only during. Always during. Never after.
He nips at your bottom lip, licking into your mouth when you gasp, his fingers carding through your hair as he angles your head to deepen the kiss. Your hands clutch at the front of his shirt, stretching the fabric. The next few moments are just this, soft touches as you break apart and keeping going back in for more, quiet but heavy breathing in your dark room as you drink each other in.
You feel tears building up behind your closed eyelids, melting into his touch, and it’s almost funny how much this feels like you’re bidding farewell to a long-time, steady lover. One who wasn’t just a casual sex partner.
It makes you laugh, a wet sound that barely covers up the sob that follows it, and Chris chuckles too, leaning his forehead against yours.
“What the fuck am I doing?” he asks to no one in particular.
“I don’t know, Chris,” you answer anyway, your fingers playing with the chain on his neck. “You tell me.”
One more kiss, pressed hard against your lips with a sigh, before he stands back up and makes his way back to your window.
“I’ll see you later,” he says without turning back.
And with that, he was gone.
That was the first and last night Chris had kissed you after sex. It was also the last night you’d see him before he left for L.A.
-------------------------------------
You hadn't realized how big of a gap Chris would leave in your life.
Things kept changing, time kept moving, albeit slowly, but you were still waiting to catch up with everyone else.
You try to fill the void by hanging out with your friends, getting drunk and high, chasing phantoms of Chris at different parties, finding yourself pressed between bodies that were distinctly not his.
You dated. Like, actually tried. Chris had been in your life since you were sixteen, and you hadn’t sought out anyone for two years after that, but it was high time. You’d stayed loyal to a guy who wasn’t your boyfriend and maybe that had been your mistake. Maybe you should’ve pulled a page out of Chris’ book and just slept around like he did, maybe then you wouldn’t have felt so…lost right now.
But you hadn’t wanted anyone else. Not like you wanted him.
Still, you tried, but it was becoming increasingly clear that you had a pattern. The only guys you ended up actually talking to all happened to be older than you, friends, or friends of friends, of your brother. Subconsciously, you were probably seeking out for a proxy of Chris, some way to replace him in the best way you could.
Elijah had been sweet. He took you out on dates, bought you gifts, and was a real gentleman. Your brother had eventually caught on, and when you’d expected him to be mad, he’d actually approved, told you that Elijah was a good guy and that he trusted him to take care of you. That didn’t stop him from giving Elijah the shovel talk though.
It was good, for a while. Elijah was sweet, maybe too sweet. He was soft with his affection, and it made you feel undeserving.
You felt broken, for being unsatisfied with a man as amazing as him.
The breakup was rough. There were tears, both of you an absolute mess as you tried to explain why you were feeling the way you did without giving away too much, and to his credit, Elijah took it well. He was respectful, didn’t pry, and wished you the best.
“I’ve grown to care for you, a lot,” he’d said, holding your hands in his. “I want you to be happy, and if that’s not with me, I’ll just have to learn to live with it.”
You hadn’t realized how serious it had been for him.
You felt like a bitch.
Jason was…wild. He was loud and obnoxious in a fun way, and reminded you of a certain someone. The two of you had hooked up in the back of his car upon your second meeting at a bar, the first one being at your house when he’d come over with a bunch of other guys to help your brother move out and into his own apartment closer to the city.
It didn’t last long. He was not a good lay, and that was that.
-------------------------------------
Ray was amazing. You started talking to him a little after you’d decided to go to community college to get your life in track. You’d gotten accepted into a few colleges of your choice, but in the end, you still didn’t know what you really wanted to do, when the local community college’s brochure caught your eye, and you found some exciting writing and teaching courses.
Ray was supportive, knew what he wanted and got you thinking about what you wanted too. A great listener, and even greater in bed. He was a little emotionally distant sometimes, but even that he’d patiently talked to you about, explaining how he had a hard time expressing emotions in front of people.
You were still going strong, many months into talking and dating, and he had yet to do anything that put you off. He’d even come over to your house for dinner with your parents and brother, and everything had gone well.
Days were exciting again, especially with an amazing boyfriend who you seemed to match really well with. The two of you were amazing at communicating, especially because Ray was good at it, and he was influencing you in such a positive way. You were also sexually so, so compatible, and it just, worked.
Everything was going well.
Until one night, when you’re getting ready to go on a date with Ray, and you hear voices downstairs, loud excited exchanges. You figure it’s Ray and your brother just chatting it up before you have to leave, so you hurry up, fix your hair and put on your heels, before rushing downstairs to greet your man.
The sight that greets you has you stopping dead in your tracks.
“Oh.”
At the sound of your voice, all heads in the room turn toward you. Nick, Matt, and Chris had come back to visit their family, and had decided to stop by your place to see their best friend. Your parents and your brother were there too, and suddenly everyone is exclaiming about how great you look.
You feel disoriented, trying to keep your reaction normal as you brush off compliments from your parents, Nick and Matt. Your brother just rolls his eyes with an affectionate look, while Chris remains silent, his eyes raking over your figure.
“Well, you’re way too dressed up to just be hanging out with friends,” Matt comments eventually. “Date?”
Your mother answers for you. “Oh, she’s been seeing Ray! He’s such a nice boy.”
Your father grunts, muttering something under his breath but nodding all the same.
To anyone else, besides his brothers perhaps, Chris looked like the picture of impassive, but you’d learned to read his body language over the years.
He was pissed. You could tell.
Thing is, even after Chris had left, the two of you had kept in touch. You’d done your best to avoid watching the triplets’ videos, especially after you’d come across ones that featured Chris with different influencers, the prettiest girls you’d ever seen. You didn’t need to work yourself up over the fact that he was around all these beautiful people now. It didn’t matter anymore.
But avoiding the videos was different from avoiding the man himself. You couldn’t help it, texting him every now and then, asking about life in L.A. He always answered, even if sometimes it was days late. Neither of you brought up what had transpired on the last night he’d spent with you before he left, and neither of you talked about the casual sex that had preceded it.
It was an interesting development, talking to Chris like he was just another friend. He didn’t seem like he way trying too hard to maintain a certain facade, like he was trying to hide parts of him.
The two of you talked a lot more in the almost one year apart than you did in the two years you’d been in each other’s vicinity.
You’d conveniently left out the part about you dating Ray though, or any of the other guys, from all your conversations. You didn’t feel the need to. It’s not like Chris was talking about all the dates he was going on, and you were sure there were plenty of those back in L.A., so in the interest of keeping things friendly and casual and normal, you didn’t talk about your love life.
You announce to the room that you’re going to grab a drink from the kitchen, hoping to escape the chaos and wait for Ray in there.
Your parents retreat back to their room. You hear your brother and the triplets chat for a while before you hear Chris ask if there was any Pepsi in the house. You hear your brother offer to grab him one, but he politely says he’d just get it himself.
A few beats of silence, before you hear soft footsteps that get louder as they get closer to the kitchen.
“How long?” Chris asks, as he appears in the doorway of the kitchen.
“What?” you ask, hands gripping the counter as you watch him move closer to you.
“Ray. How long have you been seeing him?”
He pauses right in front of you, towering over you, as he waits for you to answer.
“It’ll be our six month anniversary in a couple of days,” you answer, looking down and choosing to focus on your own clothes, picking at a hem of your sleeve.
“Funny, you didn’t mention him in any of your texts.”
“Didn’t feel the need to,” you reply, turning your head to the side when you feel his face moving closer to yours. “Besides, it’s not like you were telling me about all the people you were dating back in L.A.”
“I wasn’t dating anyone.”
“Dating, fucking, whatever.”
Chris tenses at that, before stepping closer, hands caging you against the counter, and you catch the faint whiff of weed on his clothes.
“You look good,” he finally says, hand coming up to brush against the fabric of your dress where it was cut against your thigh.
“Thank you,” you mumble, wondering how no one had come in to see what’s taking either of you so long in the kitchen.
Just as you’re about to suggest that you both go back outside to sit with others, before you do something you regret, you hear the doorbell ring, and Ray’s voice calling out for you.
You jump, trying to get past Chris, but his hands stay where they are, palms on the counter as his head drops to your shoulder, mumbling something you couldn’t quite catch.
“What?”
“I missed you, baby. Couldn’t fuck anyone without thinking of you.”
And before you know it, he’s stepping away and backing out of the kitchen, his Pepsi forgotten on the counter.
You stay frozen, trying to process what happened. Ray eventually comes to you in the kitchen, greets you with a smile and a deep kiss, tells you how beautiful you look before whisking you away and into his car for your date.
And the whole time, all you can think about is Chris.

i’m the girl you’d die for
kiara carrera x rafe cameron; nsfw 18+
summary: Kiara and Rafe are locked in a Barbados villa together. Tensions are high. They share a bed. We know where this is going.
tags, warnings, and more on ao3!
Rafe, bored out of his mind, made multiple attempts to start a conversation with no success. Kiara remained committed to keeping her mouth shut, but she nervously stared at him like prey. He considered mocking her for this, but given everything he’s done to her friend group, he instead chose to let her continue ogling him and only smirked when their eyes met. Which was often.
Still, he was generous. Undressed slowly, flexing when his torso was exposed until her cheeks were red.
When the moon casted beams across the room, it was glaringly obvious to both that they needed sleeping arrangements that would invite the least amount of discomfort. “I’m a feminist. I can take the floor,” Kiara offered, breaking her silence while enviously staring at the luxurious king-size occupying the majority of the room.
He scoffed. “No, you can have the bed,” Rafe said and tossed a pillow on the ground. Kiara twisted her face up in confusion. “Are you surprised? If I banished you to the ground, my mother would turn in her grave.”
“No one’s ‘banishing’ anyone anywhere, I just think sharing would be— kind of weird, no? I’ll take it tomorrow night,” she suggested, then winced at the idea that they’d be here another day. Rafe had a similar physical reaction but said nothing, instead creating a pallet with the spare blankets and pillows.
Nothing else was said for the rest of the evening.
***
Kiara sat up, a scream still fresh on her lips. She kicked and clawed around the empty sheets, fighting off an attacker that lingered only in her dreams.
Rafe jolted awake and looked at the door, ensuring it was still shut and locked. “Kie, are you okay?” he asked, using the bedpost to bring himself to standing.
She hadn’t caught her breath yet, but still tried to explain herself. “The plane— Jimmy, he’s— fuckin’ hell,” Kiara pressed the heels of her hands into her eyes, trying to scrub the imagery out of her brain.
He was by her side in an instant, dipping into the bed on his knees. “It’s okay, sweetheart, you’re safe. It was just a nightmare.” His hand reached out to console her but he jerked back in fear of overstepping a boundary while she was still vulnerable.
“No shit, Rafe,” she bit, then looked up with wet eyes. “I’m sorry, I just—”
“It’s fine. I’ve gotten worse. Are you alright?”
“Please stay with me.”
Now that he didn’t expect. Guess the weirdness be damned. “I— uh, of course. Just… try to get some rest, yeah?”
He slipped between the silk sheets, letting the plush duvet settle over his figure. Kiara remained tense until he finally placed a soft hand on her shoulder. Rafe felt her physically deflate, and his eyes widened when she rolled over and rested her head on his bare chest.
Unsure of what to do, he lay rigid as her breaths evened out into soft snores. He brought a hand to the back of her head, lightly stroking her hair as they both drifted off to sleep again.
***
She woke for the second time that night, this time without the forceful tug out of slumber. No, this time it was something much different that pulled her from her now-peaceful dreams.
His dick.
No fucking joke, she could feel him pressed up against her ass. They seemed to have shifted in the middle of the night to a spooning position, and his semi-hard cock was perfectly caught between their bodies. Her cheeks flushed at the thought of him having a pleasant enough dream to get like this, and the devil on her shoulder won.
Ever-so-carefully, she shifted backwards in an attempt to increase their contact. Once their bodies were entirely flush, she grinded back. One of his arms was tossed over her waist, and she slotted her hand over his to hold him in place.
His cock twitched, she could feel it. She knew this was really wrong, messing with him in his sleep, but she couldn’t stop. Eventually she dared to reach back and stroke over his boxers, which only made him harder.
She wasn’t sure what the endgame would be. In fact, she wasn’t really thinking at all, given that her brain had entirely shut off the moment she felt him pressing into her. Kiara figured she could keep going until she was tired enough to fall back asleep, and was perfectly content with this choice.
That is, until the man behind her started to push back against her hand. She froze like a spooked rabbit, breath catching in her throat. Kiara tried to pull her arm away, but he pinned it to her side with a grip around her waist.
Rafe snickered, pulling her snug against him. “Couldn’t help yourself, huh?”
Fuck. “I—I’m sorry, I didn’t—”
“Think I’d wake up? S’pretty stupid, doll,” he hummed, sleep still rasping his voice.
Her body flamed with embarrassment, thinking she would never hear the end of this. That is, until she realized he was tugging his boxers even lower to fully free himself. This is just another dream , she thought to herself. Surely Rafe isn’t about to fuck me.
Then he lined himself up with ease, simply pushing her panties to the side and gliding the tip along her wet folds. “Hope you know that if you wanted this, all you had to do was ask. Didn’t have to go violating me in my sleep.” He groaned as he guided himself inside her until the tip of his cock had disappeared within her walls. “But I won’t complain about this.”
A pathetic whine ripped from her. She pushed back to get him even deeper, and he matched her movements until his balls pressed against her clit. She clenched around him and suddenly it was him groaning, digging his fingers into her sheer nightgown.
The angle was perfect, and with every thrust he was directly hitting a spot that made her cry out. The hand that wasn’t wrapped around her body reached around her head to clamp over her mouth. “Shh, pretty girl. Don’t want the guards running in on this, do you?”
Kiara shook her head desperately.
He laughed at her whimpers, thoroughly enjoying the way she trembled in his grip. “You act like you hate me,” he chided, completely stilling his hips to her dismay. “Ignoring me. Giving me forced glares. You think I don’t see the way you look at me? Can’t believe it took you this long to do something about it, you little slut.”
She was overwhelmed to the point of tears spilling down her cheeks, and he smirked when he felt the droplets hit his hand. “Not sure why you’re crying, baby, you’re the one who wanted this.”
Kiara reached up to pull his hand from her face, just enough to choke out the words, “Rafe, please, move.”
“Now she has manners,” he teased but obeyed anyways.
He fucked her until she came, legs shaking and back arching. Rafe had to cover her mouth again to keep the noise down. He didn’t stop, even when she tried to cry out from overstimulation. The hand tucked around her waist trailed down until it was just above her mound, and he pressed in firmly.
“Feel that, doll? S’all me, making you feel so good. That’s it,” he purred, still thrusting and enjoying the feeling of her clenching and shivering in his arms.
He finished inside her, not that Kie expected any less. His hips stuttered and he dropped his head to her shoulder, trying to cover his own moans by digging his teeth into the flesh there.
They returned to silence, this time without the thick tension between them. The room seemed much cooler, despite the sweat beading on their bodies.
And with that out of their systems, the duo fell back asleep, more comfortable than either could’ve imagined.

save a turkey, stuff a masc [shorts, 18+]
this year I'm thankful for bottom Ellie and Abby fics and im thankful for sub mascs everywhere all the time
cw: not proof read one bit (I literally wasn't even wearing my glasses when I wrote this and I wrote it in 20 minutes so forgive my spelling errors), bottom abby and ellie, reader is strapped up, choking, slight degradation if you squint (?)
♫ supersoaker (eartheater)
🍒 ellie
Ellie's so easy to wrangle after a night like this. Another one filled with the awkward tensions between her and Joel, pretending everything between them is fine when it's not, when it's actually so fucking complicated that she could rip her own skull off given the chance, just to quiet the throbbing complications swelling in her mind.
Of course, you would never let it get that far. You've grown accustomed to Ellie's frustrations and the signs of it -- her tense shoulders, the way she sucked in her lips, kneads her brows together and goes quiet, considering it safer than arguing some more.
So when the night has finally concluded and you two are relieved from awkward family obligations to return back to the little makeshift studio garage Ellie calls her "place", you're quick to find a way to melt these tensions.
Like I said, she's easy, easy to lay out on her back like this, knees pressed to her chest and hair left down and astray. The auburn strands stick to her forehead, covering some of her freckles as she whimpers and pants up at you.
"Shit, fuck, oh my god --"
Ellie's barely able to keep her eyes open when you're like this, her hands bracing themselves on your wrist as you pound relentlessly into her. You pull pitiful moans out of her as you hold her still with a palm to her pale throat, fingers experimentally tightening as she grows inconsolable, long nails threatening to stab at her if she isn't careful to hold still and take what you give her.
"Shhh, shh, I know sweetheart," you're purring. The combined scent of her previous orgasms and your sickeningly sweet perfume melting off of your warm body makes her head spin, body shaking underneath you uncontrollably.
"Fuck, I don't know if I can," she grunts out, chest heaving as one of her fists slams down on the mattress, balling the sheets and hitting them down again. She can feel her heart pounding in her skull, and she's lightheaded from uselessly trying to catch her breath.
Your thumb traces her bottom lip as Ellie's breathing becomes more erratic, more choked up, and her eyes begin to water. You've climbed so far over her that she can hardly see anything except you, her pretty, sweet girl, with such sinful and disgusting words falling from your plush lips between the sounds of your hips slapping against her utterly soaked cunt. And god, does she look good like this, left in only her t-shirt and bra pulled just enough over her chest to give you a good view and something to play with when she gets antsy.
"No, don't say that baby," you chide softly, as if you aren't dripping from your core, down between the straps of your harness, and on to the bed yourself. As if you aren't fighting to bury the toy to the hilt inside of her and fucking burst. You readjust yourself, sitting up straighter so her pleading eyes don't make you change your mind.
"I know you can, you can take another one f'me."
Ellie gulps down air greedily as your fingers move away from her throat and down to her clit, toying with the bud as she begins to squirm, moans growing higher pitched and so, so desperate.
"See, I knew you weren't done," you huff, giggling down at her. Her cheeks grow pink from embarrassment, and she tries to turn away, but you stop her. You turn her face back towards you with your free hand, making her watch you as you work her through the beginning of her fourth orgasm.
"Uh-uh, eyes on me, sweet girl. Gonna fuck you stupid, huh?"
🍒 abby
Abby's not so easy. She takes some work, some forethought to get under your strap, but you know the drill.
You've been sweetening her up all day, making her a plate and bringing it to her so she doesn't even have to get up from the football game that she and Manny had been screaming at all morning. You'd been lounging on the side of the couch, nails tracing over her back, picking at the shiny material of her jersey and gently pulling the ponytail out of her braid.
You've got your fingers in the loose strands of her hair, nails softly scratching at her scalp when Manny calls the game, waving it off and heading out the door a few moments later, though that wasn't necessarily like him, Abby had commented. She wondered if he was okay, if they had cooked the turkey all the way through. She felt fine, but you were sure Manny had just grown uncomfortable around you openly eyeing her.
You don't say anything of it though, shrugging it off and packing away the dinner's leftovers. Abby's helpful and sweet as always, pressing a soft kiss to your temple that has you turning with a predatory glint in your eye. This went unnoticed by the larger woman, and she continued not to notice until your arms were wrapping around her from behind, warm palm climbing up her chest and under her shirt until you can play with the elastic of her bra. She had laughed, taking it for a joke until your other hand slips below her waistband, and then her hands are tightening on the counter and she's sucking in a breath.
After that, it isn't long before you're shoving Abby's face into the mattress. You're holding her wrists at the small of her back, and the bulging veins and muscle in her forearms make your delicate hands and long nails look almost laughable, like a piece of paper tying some dumbbells together, but she doesn't dare to fight your grasp. Rather, she melts right into it.
"Shit, mmph," she grunts turning her head so she can gasp in the cold air of the room. Your nails dig into her hair, wrapping it around your wrist and pulling her up so her back is arched, and she can just barely see the reflection of your tangled bodies in the mirror over the tip of her nose.
"Fuck!" She grunts out, dragging out the vowel and bordering it with a strained growl. "Fuck, it's deep, it's really, really deep, ohmygod --"
You're giggling behind her, panting softly as a lazy smirk meets her contorted face in the glass.
"You're greedy, Abs," you hum, annunciating your words with even heavier snaps of your hips that have her eyes rolling back and her clit pulsing deliciously. "She's sucking me in, baby, knew you needed this, huh?"
Abby's head bobs and nods pathetically as you continue your brutal pace, an angelic whine of uh-huh forced out of her parted lips.
You tsk, shaking your head.
"'s not gonna cut it, baby," you chide, letting go of her hair to exchange it for her jaw, pulling her warm back against your front and pressing soft kisses along her shoulder. "Use your words."
Abby lets out an almost heartbreaking moan, a mix of frustration and pleasure filling your ears as she can barely hold in enough oxygen to breath, let alone admit how badly she needed to be broken in like some sort of fucking dog in heat.
Still, you don't give up, growing more cocky and demanding as she falls further and further into you, head drunk and dumb on your cock.
"Come on, angel, I won't tell anyone how much you like it."

The girls woke up to the noise of someone shuffling in some trunks late at night. They sat up immediately as they slowly recognized it was you. You had been staying with Pamola and Tilda and even Jace, never staying too long because you were sharing a bed and didn’t want to force them to always share with you. You weren’t exactly happy the three of them chose now to get sick at the same time but there was nothing you could do. So you were switching out your clothes and small bag again and mentally preparing yourself to stay with Max.
Maybe it would be better if you just stayed in your own room for the night. You were already here anyway. But then the girls would try and talk to you. They, especially Pandora, were worse than the marauders in terms of longing looks and awkward eye contact. This morning was no different. Mary, Lily, and Marlene tried to give you little waves but you purposefully looked everywhere but them. It was hard sometimes. Most of the time, actually. But Pamola, Jace, Tilda, and Max were good about helping you get through it. You threw a final pair of socks into your bag and left the dorm, making the short walk up the second set of steps and into the boys’ half.
Peter was the first to turn his head at the soft knocking on the door. Max sprang to life, pushing out his desk chair. He barely gave them any warning about you staying over for a few days before opening the door to let you in. Sirius felt his jaw tick when Max held your shoulders and whispered something to you, faces only inches apart. Did he have the right? No, but it still made him jealous. Remus on the other hand didn’t feel jealous, just disappointed in himself. Maybe if they had come clean earlier, he could be holding you in the same way he was watching your friend do. Both men’s hearts jumped when you gave the marauders small waves and a thanks for not minding if you stayed.
“Did you already wash? Are you hungry?” Max asked as he set down most of your stuff.
You picked up his cat, Cromwell, and scratched between his ears. “I already did both.”
“Good. Get some rest. I’ll come to bed in a bit.”
Jealousy finally picked at Remus, potentially worse than Sirius although he would blame the full moon for that. You were getting comfortable in Max’s bed, slipping on one of his jumpers and burying yourself in the sheets. The four marauders had never seen their roommate so animated before. Usually, you and your friends were nowhere to be found outside of class. And whenever you were in lessons or the Great Hall, the five of you seemed so stoic. But you were currently talking up a storm in the dorm room. Sirius felt himself subconsciously smiling whenever you laughed.
Remus looked over when his boyfriend suddenly snuggled into his side, both of them gripping each other’s thighs tightly. There was a silent understanding between them. They were honoring you and Max’s word and not approaching first. But Merlin did they want to. Remus wanted you in his jumper. Sirius wanted you curled up in his sheets.
The raven-haired boy laughed to himself. He didn’t know you as well as Remus and you were closer to the rest of their friends before you two even became friendly. But the one kiss and the small period of closeness you spent together as bandmates made him want to know you desperately. It was torturous watching Max finally come to bed, having no qualms about cuddling up close to you. The two of you looked like a couple. Like a happy one. That sentiment continued in the morning as they watched you and Max change around each other with no embarrassment, shower and use the bathroom at the same time, and overall have no boundaries.
Once again, you basically disappeared outside of classes. They were lucky to catch glimpses of you and your friends in the hallways, unsure of where you went all the time. The marauders weren’t using their map for once. If they took Veritaserum, they’d be able to answer honestly that they not once checked where you were. And they kept it that way all the way to graduation.
The marauders and friends watched from afar as you charmed a camera so it could take pictures and get the five of you in the picture at once. You were in the middle as the other four kissed your cheeks.
“Here’s to only a year before seeing your family,” Tilda said, happily. “Rounds at some random pub?”
A chorus of absolutely rang out. You started to pack up the camera when you felt a tap on your shoulder. Turning, you were a bit surprised to find James. He was equally shocked, but happy, to see a slight smile on your face. His expression slightly faded as he saw your friends start to make their way back.
“It’s not to pressure you or anything but I overheard you guys were looking for places and I know money is tight for all of you but our estate has lots of small houses and properties on it so I wanted to offer one of the places to stay. The rent is free or really low if it makes you feel weird about it being free. And it’s one of the farther ones so you don’t have to see any of us if you don’t want to. There’s a pathway separating the place,” he rushed out.
“Thanks, James. We actually might need that.” You turned around, holding up a pair of keys. “Guys, I found us a place!”
While your friends still didn’t like the marauders, they weren’t about to look a rich gifted horse in the mouth. Eagerly, they took the keys from you and jotted down the address and house number before apparating. He turned back to face his friends, mainly Sirius and Remus and gave them a thumbs up. They were cautious but optimistic. They had no plans on breaking their promise but some of the things on Potter Estate required walking past the cottages and other buildings. Maybe they could at least get glimpses of you or cross paths. It was worth a shot.
That somewhat paid off one month into summer. Very much used to walking around the house a little too comfortably, Sirius answered the door while shirtless and still brushing his teeth.
“Mr. and Mrs. Potter aren’t here rig— Y/N, hi.”
Like your name was some sort of beacon, Remus appeared from where he was fixing his tea. You might have been mad at them but you were still human, well, part human. Your eyes slowly traveled down Sirius’ entire bare chest and the good bit of Remus you could see through his unbuttoned pajama top. They also looked at you. Less so your body and more what you were wearing. Sunglasses were on the top of your head in a matching color to your sandals. You were in tight and very short shorts with just a bathing suit as your top. And there was a large tote bag threatening to fall off your shoulders. You were definitely going to the lake with your friends.
“Can you give this to James? It’s just a small thanks for letting us stay here. He kind of really saved us a lot of stress and financing.” You set the dish of custard slices in Sirius’ arms and then pulled another dish from your bag, giving the cookie cake to Remus. “And this is for Mrs. and Mr. Potter. You guys can have some too and whoever’s here.”
“Thanks, Y/N.”
The three of you stood there awkwardly before you finally said goodbye and walked away to meet your friends who were waiting for you a little ways up the path.
