ummm this took an embarrassingly long amount of time (79 hours altogether </3) so u will. look at them!!!!! If u don't know what sky au is or want 2 learn more about these sillies then I will be rambling about them rn (with extra doodles) !! lucky you :]

Kry, what is sky au ??

To put it simply, it's a (mostly) ishimondo centric au where Mondo guards over the sun, while Taka guards over the moon. Together they keep Earth in balance. Other planets (excluding Earth for now) are guarded by a being similar to Mondo and taka (aka the hopes peak students are now guardians too). They all each have their own ways of making sure that their planet/moon/etc are rotating correctly and orbiting around the sun n such !! (It's a work in progress so pls bear with me </3)

The Earth, in this case is not guarded by anyone in particular. Which gives the beings an opportunity to basically go down there and explore or just go through shenanigans pretty much. So long as they don't burn the whole planet down and are able to blend in with humans down there they're able to do whatever they please 👍

now to get some sorta like. random facts about Mondo n taka (plus the piece itself) out of the way cause !!!! the post is about them SO

Mondo: Sun guardian ☀️

Does not have a specific routine when doing his job. Usually goes with his gut feeling and continues on from there.

With that in mind, he tends to travel to earth very often to mess around n' have fun. He doesn't doesn't go out of his way to cause destruction (at least not on purpose)

But, he is more feared than liked by most of the mortals there. That does not stop him from roaming around the Earth though!

His halo can emit the brightest light that could honestly blind a regular human, but for the space beings it does not have much of an effect on em.

MF TOOK THE LONGEST TIME (42 hrs) !!! BC OF HIS HAIR. and the halo. shakes him crumples him up

Kiyotaka: Moon guardian 🌙

Unlike Mondo, Taka actually does have a routine that he carefully and thoughtfully planned out to make sure that everything goes smoothly with things regarding the moon (phases, rotations, yk)

Only goes down to Earth for educational purposes, he wants to learn more about how the moon directly affects the Earth (as well as other things about mortals and nature in general)

Does come off as intimidating to mortals, but it is mostly unintentional and therefore he doesn't hang around them much.

Is able to make little star projections with his hands and uses this to make his plans/write down stuff (good example is making that flower projection in [this] comic.)

I come bearing updates and offerings! Despite the strong allure of playing the genshin update, i resisted and managed to almost catch up with today's word count goal!!! 12278/13333 ! :D I had fun with what I was working on so hehe have a peek 🤭

Zuko hadn’t gone through this section of the warehouse yet, so he had no idea what the kids were stealing. He inched further over the edge, squinting to try and make out what they were grabbing in the dark and through his mask’s eye holes. The lookout of the group suddenly jerked upward and drew his bow, an arrow pointed directly at Zuko. The rest of the group jumped as if the lookout had shouted for them, and whirled around, looking for where their friend was aiming.

“What do you see, Longshot?” A high voice asked from the smallest.

Instead of answering, Longshot just nodded toward Zuko and motioned his arrow downward, but returned to pointing it at Zuko. Was he asking Zuko to come down? Well, maybe he’d consider it if the guy stopped aiming an arrow at him!

“Hey!” the girl said a little too loudly as she spotted Zuko. “Who the fuck are you? Are you spying on us?”

“Smellerbee, shut up!” The tallest hissed, smacking her arm and falling silent. They all did, Zuko included, listening intently for guards. When no raised voices of alarm sounded, he pointed up at Zuko. “But she’s right. Who are you? Give me one good reason why I shouldn’t have Longshot put an arrow through your creepy mask.”

An answer was at the tip of Zuko’s tongue, but he bit it back at the last second. He’d made a bit of a scene at the port office, and may have been ranting loudly to Uncle on their way back to the Sazanami. Speaking had given him away last time he was in disguise because Kori recognized his voice. While she had more time to hear him speaking out of disguise to make the connection… It was better to play it safe.

Zuko held his hands out in a sign of peace, then pulled himself over the ledge of the boxes. He less climbed down than slid a few feet before jumping to the ground. The kids were tense and had their weapons pointed at him, ready for a fight. Now that he was closer, Zuko could make out the gauntness in their cheeks, the dirt encrusted on their worn clothes, and how their weapons were clearly second-hand. He had a sinking suspicion as to why they were stealing from the military. 

“Answer the damn question,” the tallest demanded, taking an aggressive step forward with his peculiar hooked sword. “Who are you?”

Slowly, so as not to give the kids a reason to attack, Zuko raised his hand and made a talking gesture with it, then crossed his fingers in an x. Shockingly, instead of growing frustrated or just attacking anyways, Longshot unnotched his arrow and slung his bow over his shoulder.

“Do you sign?” He asked with his hands.

It was a blessing of every kind that Chanda was placed on the Sazanami and deigned Zuko with her friendship. Grinning behind his mask, Zuko nodded and replied, “Yeah, I do. Sorry I startled you. I heard you come in and wasn’t sure if you were guards.”

“And who are you to care?” Smellerbee asked, but she was lowering her sword.

“Don’t sheathe your weapons,” the tallest hissed, shooting a glare at his friends. 

Smellerbee shrugged and turned her back to them. “Come off it, Jet. They’re clearly not supposed to be here like us, so let’s just ignore ‘em and get what we need.”

In agreement, Longshot also turned to the shelves of what looked to be building supplies. Ropes, saws, hammers, jars and jars of nails. What in the world were they looking for here?

Unlike his friends, Jet was not content with ignoring Zuko. He lowered his swords, but didn’t sheathe them as he took another step closer. “Well, what are you waiting for? You know we’re not guards, so go back to doing whatever you were doing.”

Think, Zuko, think. Why would a group of kids be stealing building supplies? They looked hungry and dirty, so they were likely homeless. Did homeless kids try to build houses? Was that something they could do? Well, they could try, but that didn’t necessarily mean they made something livable. People like this, they were who the Wings wanted to help, right? But what could Zuko possibly offer right now?

“Move it,” Jet growled.

“You know the food storage is in a different building, right?” 

Jet paused, his eyes intently tracking the way Zuko’s hands moved, the way many on the Sazanami watched while practicing their sign language. So Zuko signed again, a little slower. As understanding lit Jet’s gaze, he stepped back and barked out a sharp laugh. His friends whipped around to stare at him in disbelief. 

“Yeah, yeah we know. We’re planning on hitting there later tonight after we secure these supplies.” Jet sheathed his swords and propped his hands on his hips. “You’re an alright guy, creepy mask. What are you doing skulking about dressed like that?”

 “He has a point. I nearly shit my pants when I saw that stupid mask in the dark,” Smellerbee contributed before turning back to shoving items in a bulging bag.

“It’s not creepy!” Zuko frowned and trailed his fingers down the side of his mask. It wasn’t creepy, was it? 

Again, Jet laughed. “Woah, sorry, didn’t mean to hurt your feelings. It certainly makes a statement, if nothing else. What are you trying to hide?”

“Could just be ugly,” Longshot said, so quiet Zuko almost missed it. Smellerbee’s loud laugh drowned out anything else Longshot might have added.

Does anyone have any food habits that’s literally make no fucking sense?

So like its 2 am and my brain has been thinking about this for a while and honestly I feel so bad for my mom, because I know she was right (for once) about certain things that involved food with me growing up.

This turned into me ranting about food.

Like I know that no matter how you cut your toast/sandwich it will taste the same but god damn the triangle cut is the right way. It just tastes wrong when it’s a rectangle or in any other form. (Though with peanut butter sandwiches, crustables are an acceptation)

I also know that Spaghetti sauce that is mixed in with the pasta is exactly the same as it just being place on top of the pasta. But god damn it my brain won’t allow me to eat it if it’s mixed. (Acceptation being when it’s left overs)

Pizza is pizza but circle pizza is superior to sheet pizza fucking fight me

Strawberry Cake pops will and always taste better then regular strawberry cake. (It’s the exact fucking thing different form, and I hate Starbucks cake pops)

Relish is basically pickles but if you even think about bringing that shit near me I will deck you (I love pickles)

Mashed potatoes taste the same whether you mix them with a mixer or not. But, god damn I want them mixed with a mixer even though most times the texture is the same along with flavor.

You can not simply just fucking bake fries and get away with it, they are named fries for a reason so fucking fry them 😡 (for me, I know some people can’t handle grease)

Bananas are bananas but none of them ever taste the same. I know it has to do something with ripeness but for the love of god ice cream shops have the best ones, but if I bite into one and it doesn’t taste right I’m spitting it out.

Trail mixes taste the same whether you eat them randomly or pick and organize all of them and then eat all of the m&m’s first. (Does this stop me from separating it, no)

Anything with coconut can die

Turkey sucks ass on thanksgiving, or the first day it is cooked. It is far superior as left overs even though it’s exactly the same thing.

Eggs are wacky as fuck, scrambled eggs taste amazing and are good for the first two bites and then after it’s immediate regret.

All of Mcdonalds chicken nuggets are the same, but each shape tastes different to me (I worked at Mcdonalds and have cooked and seen with my own eyes that they are all the same)

Anything with the name casserole in it was created from satans balls and deserves to go into purgatory or be force fed to bigots as punishment.

Shepards pie can not be made with cream corn, it just can’t has to be made with regular

Frosting is overrated

Mac and Cheese has to be creamy, for the love of god don’t bake it. (It tastes the same but oh my god)

I can’t eat something sweet with out having something salty after words it’s becoming a problem because there is nothing salty enough in my place

Fruity Pebbles are far superior then coco pebbles

Cheerios are just the boring straight version of fruit loops (spoiler alert no cereal is healthy) ((I could be wrong don’t quote me))

I don’t trust Squash

Pumpkins are overrated but cookies are okay

Banana bread isn’t good without chocolate chips

Also salads aren’t made the same, they have to be at room temp and not wet for me to eat it.

I don’t even know where I went for some of this, I just blacked out and typed 👁���👄👁️ but does anyone else have a weird thing with food? Another one I have is I can’t drink from a can without tapping the top first.
