“Ah’ll protect you, bonnie.” He says, and you want to cry. Suddenly. Viciously. You want to scream, to rage, because that's not the problem. That's not the point.
You're trapped here with a man who calls you his wife, for fuck’s sake. How can he not see the issue here?
“I'm not your wife—”
His hand tightens into a fist. “Ye hit yer head pretty hard, hen. Don't know what yer sayin’.”
“I know what I'm saying and I'm saying I'm not your fucking wife—”
He slams his hands on the table, silencing your cries. The swell of his anger is swift, deafening. Forewarned through the recession of the tides showing the murk of the seabed below. What comes next is—
"Ye hit yer head, doe. Hard. Don't ye remember?" It's phrased like a question, but you know that anything you say right now will be ignored. There's a fever in his eyes. Rogue waves.
—a tsunami.
It's brutal. Devasting. "Ye hit yer head when ye tried tae—tae—do somethin' foolish, aye? Because ye don't know better, doe. Ye don't know what's best fer ye. No' like ah do. Ahm tryin' tae take care a'ye, bonnie, but yer making it really difficult—"
You nod slowly. "I—I hit my head. I'm—I'm sorry—"

so i was watching clue
[ID: Five short messy comics featuring tua characters reenacting scenes from the movie Clue.
Comic one: Viktor, posing dramatically with tears in his eyes, says "I was a victim too. Or at least, my wife was. She had friends who were..... SOCIALISTS". The next panel was traced over a screenshot of the movie; the rest of the Hargreeves are staring in shock and horror. Reginald is dead in the background, unacknowledged.
Comic two: Diego shouts, "If I was the killer I would kill you next!" Allison and Five stand into frame and give him identical deeply skeptical expressions. Diego says, "I said if!"
Comic three: Five says "I will confess to my very real black mail, because I am just like all of you and not an FBI plant." Five, who is literally a child, continues, "I work for the government and I'm a homosexual." Luther says, "Welp that all sounds perfectly legit to me."
Comic four: Viktor, grinning an extremely strained smile, says "I can explain!" A police officer, who has not been cast as anyone, says "What for? Theres nothing illegal about any of this!" Viktor looks deeply confused and asks "Are you sure?"
Comic five: Five smirks at the camera and says "Now I'm gonna go home." Then he puts a pair of sunglasses on and says, "And sleep with my wife." End ID.]

As a certified Dean Domino Enjoyer™ I'm still kind of sad we don't actually get to hear dean sing
like we get 'Something's Gotta Give' playing at the Tampico and all. but that's already a song that's used on Radio New Vegas, and is confirmed to still be a Bing Crosby song in universe
But then the holotape used for that performance is called 'Saw Her Yesterday', and depending on your dialogue choices in the following conversation with Dean he references this title (and probably the lyrics too)
Add to that the fact that his voice actor Barry Dennen performed in the stage productions of both Jesus Christ Superstar and Cabaret, and was very much used to singing in character. As well as how we also get a canon Vera Keyes' song in 'Begin Again'.
It gives the impression like it might've been the plan to have an original song for Dean as well, and it got cut for budget or time.
IDK it just makes me sad at the lost potential there...

Interview with the Vampire Pilot script is going around and I am in awe. People on twitter are saying it reads like fanfic because it's so explicit, and I envy the showrunners getting their smut fic canonized. Good for them.

Some quotes from the commentators that made me burst into tears:
"That was wonderful stuff from Fernando Alonso, and you thought, once Perez gets by, "Goodnight." Perez waited, deployed it well. The problem was you're talking about one of the Greats in Formula 1 history. "Two-time champion" doesn't begin to tell you how good Fernando Alonso is...Brilliant stuff, really great work from Fernando Alonso, holding on in what definitely, undoubtedly, is the inferior car.
"It [DOTD] should've been Alonso, shouldn't it?"
"Fernando Alonso, it doesn't matter how many days old, years old, he is, the amount of Grand Prix he's run, he is so crafty, he is so wily. He is such a good wheel-to-wheel racer. To hold out with the inferior car against that kind of pressure for so long? Absolutely incredible.
"You might get past Fernando Alonso, but you might not stay ahead."
"Fernando Alonso fought like a lion out there!
