Thinking today about all the physiognomy in Dracula - around the time van Helsing showed up with a bonus five paragraphs of description of his skull structure, there was a lot of discussion about the wild things people believed in Victorian times; but, uh, we as a fandom sure did come to a strong consensus about some hair colors based on nothing but the characters’ personalities, yeah?

Helloooo!!!i would to ask if you could write a bertholdt x reader where (please get ready for it it complicated as hell) where reader notices that bert likes annie and decides to help him while the reader like armin but during all this bertholdt and the reader start falling for eachother<3 sorry its so long TwT but if its to much i understand!!
This was so much fun to write! I really hope you like this and that other people like it too! It got kinda long but I couldn’t help myself. Tell me if you like it!
Tumblr media
warnings: literally none.
word count: 2224
“So! Did you decide to go through with my plan?” Bertholdt jumped when you grabbed his arm, stopping him from walking outside the mess hall. “Today is one of the only free days we have and if we don’t do your part today I don’t know when we’ll get another chance.” This whole ‘convince Annie to date Bertholdt’ thing had been your idea originally. You’d seen him staring at her when he thought no one was looking, it was a pathetic look honestly but you recognized it to well. It was the same one you had when you saw Armin. Only where you had the nerve to actually speak to him, Bertholdt clammed up in normal conversations, let alone talking to Annie.
When he hadn’t replied you looked back at him only to realize he was staring at your hand still holding onto his forearm. You felt your face heat up and quickly let go, what the hell was wrong with you? You had to focus on trying to help him and think less about how surprisingly muscular his forearm was. This was about Bertholdt and Annie. And Armin and yourself eventually. Whenever it felt right to say something you’d do it. Of course you would.
Behind you Bertholdt cleared his throat and you looked to him, “I just… are we sure it should be today? Maybe she’s busy or… something.” He’d gotten better at not blushing at every mention of her name but you could still see the pink tinge in his cheeks. That and the fact that after all these weeks spent together trying to get him confident enough to talk to Annie, you’d learned to read him pretty decently. “We could just try another time I don’t know about today. I don’t want to bother her.”
He was sweet. Even if he was just saying it to try to get out of talking to her, he was still sweet. It was almost annoying actually, the amount of things about him you found endearing. The way he sometimes stuttered, the way he played with his hands when he was nervous and oddly enough when he’d break out in nervous sweats. Before you’d never really given him much thought but since helping him you’d almost been able to do nothing but think of him.
Your agreeing to help him was in part you wanting to help him and the other part wanting to get closer to Armin. You could talk to the blonde just fine but when it came to knowing what he liked, that you had no idea. Bertholdt and Armin were pretty close, when you saw them together usually they were reading or talking about some book they’d read. Armin’s intelligence was really amazing to well… everyone here and his theories and such on the books he read was amazing. Aside from Mikasa and Eren it was Bertholdt who listened to him talk about it. You’d tried but honestly you didn’t really get it but you liked the passion in his voice.
But that was why you went to Bertholdt. It was supposed to be a mutual help thing with helping you both get the people you liked. You messed up though. Somewhere between asking Bertholdt for help and having him pretend you were Annie to confess to her your interest in Armin started fading. You hadn’t meant for it to happen but before you even knew it Bertholdt was the only one on your mind.
That was why you needed to get him with Annie. The sooner that actually happened the sooner you could force this crush out of your mind. As soon as you shook this feeling you’d be back to realizing how great Armin was. If Annie rejected him it would be harder to get over it but you’d do it. Not that you wanted to think about Annie rejecting him either, you couldn’t imagine how crushed he’d be. If your plan failed you’d also be partly to blame for convincing him that she would like him. But literally you couldn’t see a single reason why she wouldn’t.
You gave him a small smile before you shook your head, “Today is a free day. You know Annie. She’s literally going to take the chance to just do nothing and be alone all day. So this is the chance, tell her you just need help trying to out do Reiner in hand-to-hand combat and she’ll help you.” Bertholdt was really a jack of all trades, there wasn’t anything you’d seen him not excel at let alone fail. But if he brought up beating Reiner it would get her.
“You really think it will work?” He sounded hesitant, but you’d put a lot into figuring out what would get the two of them alone possibly long enough for him to work up the courage to confess. “I really don’t think she’s interested in me like that Y/N. She barely even looks at me.”
You bit back the jealousy that crept on you again, this was for him. If you liked him you would help him be happy. “She looks at you more than you think Bertholdt. And if she does say no you tried, you were brave! You told me you wanted to be more confident and this is your chance, I believe in you.” Before you could stop yourself you continued, “And anyone who rejects you is an idiot. You’re amazing.”
His green eyes widened and he opened his mouth only to quickly close it. Did you say too much? Give away your feelings? You couldn’t regret what you said though, it was the truth. “I can do it.” The resolve in his voice made your own eyes widen. “I’ll do it today. I can’t leave it like it is.”
With that he was gone, walking out of the mess hall muttering to himself and you were left standing there. Watching him walk away so he could get ready to tell Annie that he was practically in love with her. And that was fine. You could do that. You could handle it. The tears pricking the backs of your eyes were trying to tell a different story.
Deciding to spend the rest of your free day after lunch in your bunk was the best idea. Most of the others were off doing their own thing, you could hear Sasha and Connie outside arguing with Jean about something. Marco was probably watching them and Armin, Mikasa and Eren were undoubtedly together somewhere. You knew you’d be welcome to join one of them but you were sure Sasha would try to cheer you up and seeing Armin right now… you think you could.
This whole thing was supposed to push Bertholdt to Annie and you to Armin. You hadn’t even noticed until he brought it up that you’d really done nothing to help you get to know Armin better. It was easy then to just shrug it off and tell him you would help him woo Annie before the focus turned to you. You thought that was what it was in the beginning but you knew better now.
Turning your head at the sound of a knock on the door you were surprised to see Reiner standing in the doorway of the girls barracks. “Bertholdt said he changed his mind.” One of his own rules were to leave Reiner out of it, he didn’t want his best friend getting involved in his love life because he’d never live it down. “He said you’d know what that meant.”
Letting out a huff you pushed yourself off the bed, “Did he say why? This was the perfect chance!” Reiner to his credit did his best to not look too confused, it was clear he wasn’t used to not knowing what was going on with Bertholdt. “Where is he?”
The blonde male stepped to the side when you pushed past him outside of the barracks. “He’s outside the training grounds.” Reiner jerked his head in the direction, “What’s he supposed to be doing?”
“Doesn’t matter.”You walked off towards the training grounds leaving the confused man behind. This was supposed to be the day. He’d sounded so sure of himself earlier, you’d never heard him sound so sure of anything as long as you’d known him. Whatever was holding him back you could talk him through, he could do this. You knew he could, he just needed to get that confidence he had before back.
As much as he needed to do this you needed him to. If he was with Annie you could give yourself a sure reason why he didn’t want you other than the fact that you just weren’t his type. If he was off limits it would be easier to accept. And you wanted him happy or to at least be able to say he’d tried. If he was able to at least try maybe it would help him with the next person he fell for. You’d put weeks into this, sat there and watched him go from a blushing mess to actually being able to say “I like you Annie..” Even if it was so stuttered you hardly understood him.
The first time he’d said that, even if it was to you ‘as Annie’ you knew you’d fallen too deep. But still you pushed on and helped him, he deserved love. Even if it wasn’t with you. You’d help him because he deserved that. Your feelings about him didn’t matter in the end.
Passing Mina, Thomas and a few others trying to work with their ODM gear you headed towards one of the other small clearings near by. You weren’t sure where he was exactly but this was the most common place to find he and Reiner when they decided to do their ‘push up contests’ or whatever it was they did so it was the best place to start.
Stepping into the clearing you spotted Bertholdt sitting on one of the large rocks not looking your way. He was staring down, probably at his hands where you could practically see him fidgeting even though you couldn’t actually see him. You’d memorized too many things about him by now.
Letting out a small sigh you walked over towards him, the man in question not realizing you were there until you started crawling up the rock he was sitting on. He glanced back at you over his shoulder, watching you until you sat down next to him. The two of you were quiet for a few minutes, you looking at him and Bertholdt just staring down. “What happened?” You finally asked.
He looked at you for a second before he shrugged and looked out at the trees. “I don’t know. I just couldn’t tell Annie.” You’d not seen Annie since breakfast that morning but you didn’t know if he actually tried, hopefully he did. “I thought about it, I wanted to. But then I realized it wouldn’t work.”
“I mean Annie’s a bit hard to get along with but you knew that when you decided this earlier.” You had no idea what made him change his mind but you’d hoped he’d do it. You liked seeing the confidence on his face.
Bertholdt let out a bit of a laugh before he shook his head, “That’s not actually what I decided.” He bit the inside of his lip and you could see him withdraw in on himself. “I was going to confess but… I can’t confess to Annie.”
Raising an eyebrow at him you waited for him to continue but he didn’t. You could see his hands shaking a little and you wanted to reach out and grab his hand but you stopped yourself. “Why not?”
“It’s not her.” His words came out in a rush, “I can’t tell her I like her when I don’t.” If you weren’t used to his stuttering you’d not understand him “It wouldn’t be fair. To her or uh… you.”
You could feel your heart pounding in your chest, he couldn’t be saying that could he? There was no way he was actually saying what you thought he was. “Not fair to me? Because I helped you? It’s… I can help you with another person!” That had to be what he meant.
Bertholdt looked away from you, “I’m sorry.” He closed his eyes, “I know about Armin and I was supposed to help you but I just… I can’t. I’m sorry I don’t even know when it happened.” He looked ashamed, “But I said I was going to do it. I was going to confess and… I did”
That was true. He thought you were still in love with Armin and he was sitting here confessing to you. Even though he thought you would reject him he still told you that he liked you. You couldn’t help the laughter that bubbled up in your chest, “Yeah. You did.” You could feel the tears building up in your eyes.
You didn’t notice the hurt look on his face when you threw your arms around him, burying your face in his shoulder. “It’s not Armin either. It hasn’t been Armin for a long time.” You looked at him again, his entire face was bright red but he was slowly moving his arms around you. “It’s you.”

Warnings: Stripper AU, dub con, 18+ N!SFW, Ayo it's gonna be lit okay?  @bakugotrashpanda thank you for always beta reading and encouraging me to write 😂
The girls around you giggle as you finally arrive to whatever hell hole dive bar they planned to take you to for your 25th birthday. They wouldn't tell you where you were going or what the general theme was going to be. The only thing they gave you was your outfit on your bed and a strong promise of getting SHIT FACED. Which you so desperately needed, especially after the shitty birthday you had today.
And since you didn't know exactly where you were going you felt...a bit uneasy. Especially so when they blind folded you as soon as you got in the car but only AFTER placing you in a guady sash that read "Birthday Bitch" and a tiara that screamed princess. Still these were your close friends you were talking about. Women you've known since highschool.
But Jhiro, Asui, Uraraka, and especially Mina had been far more adventurous than yourself, so you were totally unsure of what to expect. Your only hope was that it wasn't a strip club.
They guide you through the boisterous club filled with whistle calls and screams for more shots or drinks. The music competes with the unsteady beat of your heart causing it to race in an attempt to keep pace with the high BPM of the song. It smells of sweat, liquor, and expensive perfumes and colognes, you were beginning to wonder just where the hell they were taking you.
"M...Mina when can I take off the blind fold." You ask, words slightly slurred from the pre gaming the five of you did as yall got ready. Her only response is her bubblegum pink lips curling upwards as she giggles. The sound of the music begins to fade as you seemingly stumble further into the building, you hear a door open before it is shut, sealing away the outside music.
Mina and Jhiro as gingerly as they can guide you into a plush armchair, keeping the blind fold on.
"Yall, am I where I think I am?" A bit of your temper shows through in your tone of voice as you feel up the luxurious fabric of the chair, the soft ambient light that you can see through the bottom of your blind fold and the godly smell of caramel, spice mixed with clean, almost mountainous air.
"Hold out your hands!" Mina squeals, Jhiro helps you hold them together. A large stack of paper is set into your palms setting your mouth into a harsh line. You pull the blind fold from your eyes to be met with a delectable nightmare.
Two sizable men laze atop rugs, pillows and cozy furs making them seem more exotic than what they are. One with ash blonde hair pushed back by rushed fingers, looking put together and yet wild, with the sides faded. The other's hair long, almost unruly as it trailed down his back, a red hue so deep you first mistake it for black.
But what really grabbed your attention was their eyes.
Harsh deep garnet and dazzling ruby red gaze at you. One dissects you leaving you feeling vulnerable, raw, as if by one glance he could see through your bones to your soul and all the things that made you tic. While the other set felt softer, pretty boy brooding yet inviting, adding balance to the intensity that his ash blonde counterpart had.
A shiver collectively runs down the female's spines.
Suddenly you feel a bit self conscious and stupid in your barely there body con black dress. You pull at your hem with futile haste, their eyes linger on your powerful thighs.
"Welcome ladies to the private show of the Deadly Duo." A sharp toothed smile pairs nicely with the introduction.
Deadly Duo indeed.
"I'm Red Riot and this is Ground Zero. The men by the door are Chargebolt and Cellophane, they will bring you whatever food or drink you so desire." You follow his sultry voice to the two men by the door. An electric blonde stands tall and flirty in his crop top and tight black jeans while a raven haired man stands on the other side shirtless, leaving the print in his grey sweatpants to do the talking for him. They both wink in yalls direction. Your focus falls back to the men before you, finally you notice what they are wearing. Their broad chests are bare, glistening from either glitter or their own sweat from an earlier escapade. Their theme seems to be a set of sorts Ground Zero wears a silky black fabric around his waist that does not shy away from a certain outline, his ash blonde hair is adorned with a black grotesque crown. It was made of sharp things, shattered glass, razor blades and two old switchblade knives giving it the illusion of horns. Paired nicely with pitch black wings, glistening as if silver stars were sprinkled on the feathers.
While Red Riot wore white fabric wrapped around his defined abs. His head piece was golden, circling behind his head as if they "rays" of light, making him look much more like a rare subject  of a renaissance painting. His pair of wings were white glistening in gold.
Their wings flutter, one seemingly agitated the other curious. Although you knew they were a prop, you would have sworn they were real.
The lights turn low, leaving only their eyes and crowns to glow.
"Are you sluts ready?" Ground Zero's voice is dangerous and low. Causing your gut and thighs to clench. Unknowingly you nod causing his wolfish grin to grow.
This was going to be more than the tacky fireman and cop duo Mina dragged everyone to for her own birthday. They were less like pieces of meat and more like Gods.
A God seducing a mere mortal such as yourself.
You gulp, all of you mesmerized by the movements of their hips, the sway of their bodies and fluttering of their fake wings. King of Hell and Heaven pulling you in making it hard to keep focus on anything but them.
"We don't dance for free." Ground Zero's voice comes out as a harsh bite. Bringing the five of you back to planet Earth.
"Birthday girl, the money!" Mina stage whispers a bit behind you. You stare down at the stack 2,000 and 5,000 yen bills. You nervously take a few and let them float to the floor. The girls behind you hollar for more as they toss their own money towards the men.
"Heh she's already flustered." Bakugou whispers to Kirishima as he comes behind his friend, hand snaking up Kirishima's abs, nails leaving red marks along his skin.
"It's cute." The red head whispers as he throws his head back in mock pleasure.
"Well cute doesn't cut it. Let's step this shit up a notch." The blond snarls, grabbing onto Kirishima's throat, giving it a squeeze.
Kirishima allows a genuine groan to leave his lips while you let out a small whimper.
"Are we gonna do the thing if they tip enough?" Kirishima's whisper is breathy as Bakugou makes him sway in beat with his own hips. The hot head's only reply is a deadly grin. He takes his large palm and places it on the back of Kirishima's nape before harshly shoving him to his knees before he places a black gladiator shoe onto the small of the red head's back.
"Collect our money from the birthday bitch." Kirishima fights to keep the smile off of his face, knowing full well Bakugou intends to milk these women dry.
You're frozen in place as doe like rubies gaze up at you. He crawls towards you slowly, his face slightly pained or maybe it is twisted with pleasure. It makes you think horrible, rancid thoughts.
Is that what he would look like on top of you?
He ignores the bills, as if he is in a trance, keeping his eyes locked to yours. He stops at your feet before he can do anything else you offer him a 5,000 bill with shaking hands, he takes it gently and sets it aside. Instead he gets up onto his knees, hands hesitantly hovering over your ankle and calf.
"Permission to touch Princess?" He looks up at you through long dark lashes. The light plays tricks on you as your mouth grows dry, you truly were staring down at an angel.
"P...permission granted." A wicked smile plays on his lips and for a moment you think you've been fooled. His hands are calloused and yet far from rough, one hand holds firm onto your ankle while the other follows the natural curve of your calf all the way to just above the back or your knee. Long, strong fingers inches from the hem of your dress.
"Mina this is good shit!" Jhiro whispers to her friend who giggles in response. Almost breaking the spell. They throw more money but earn the blondes agitation. Yes, most of the time it was about the money, but in some rare moments it was about the looks on people's faces. To have them so enthralled by their own fantasies that they forgot who they really were.
He could see you were dipping into that space quickly, Kirishima is about to seal the deal.
Trailing slow kisses up your smooth legs, sharp teeth glinting in the golden and red ambient lighting.
Depending on your reaction to what Kirishima is about to do determines Bakugou's next few moves.
Kirishima's doe creature mask breaks for a fraction of a second and the wicked smile happens again, his mouth just above your knee as he opens wide, letting his teeth sink into your thick thigh.
The whimper that leaves your lips, the fluttering of your half mast eyes and the shape of your mouth send Bakugou into that rare state.
He gives a harsh head tilt to the men at the door before glaring at the extra women in the room.
"Are you ladies feeling neglected?" Chargebolt asks, lips a breath away from Jhiro's ear, her ear jacks twist on their own as her face flushes. Meanwhile Cellophane is purring in Mina's ear.
"How rude of them to ignore such beauty. Let's get the four of you a private showing."
"A..ah okay." They agree, getting up to squeeze your arms and drop off more cash onto your lap.
"Don't get too wrapped up!" Mina teases before exiting with the rest of the crew. Leaving it to just the three of you.
As soon as the door shuts, Bakugou falls to his knees, crawling slowly. Much slower than Red Riot, agonizingly so, his hard set eyes locked with yours even as Red still holds your leg captive. You push back into the plush chair in exhilarating fear, chest rises and falling in shallow and quick movements unable to break his molten hot gaze. His movements are methodical, quiet and not even his wings twitch as he makes his way, as if he does not want to make a sound. Like a panther hiding in the shadows, stalking its prey.
The light play tricks as the muscles of his back and broad shoulders seem to be highlighted. These men were strong, more fit than you've ever seen and yet, yet your eyes were glued to theirs.
Especially the ashe blonde's. Finally he reaches your feet, hands hovering over your left leg and before he can ask you're nodding frantically. He sucks his teeth, locking over your soft skin before grabbing onto you with a bruising grip, eyes holding yours once more.
"I wasn't going to fucking ask." He yanks your leg towards him, away from the other. You frantically try to push your dress down to cover your lacy, barely there thong that Mina convinced you to wear. A steely grip is at your wrist.
"Ah, ah ah, it's only fair, Princess." Bakugou teases before letting his hands trail up your leg, causing you to tense and yet ease into his touch at the same time. He trails biting kisses up your leg and lets his fingers actually touch the skin beneath your hem.
You yelp, hand hesitantly hovering over his washed out golden strands. You were unsure of the rules, of if you were allowed to touch them.
A soothing hand pats your knee.
"Don't worry, he isn't as much of a brute he seems to be. Plus." His ruby eyes gesture towards the corners of the room, "Cameras are always watching."
You give a slow nod, as Ground Zero comes up from his bite above your knee, black blooms on your skin before he presses a chaste kiss atop the purplish flower. He shoots Kirishima a glare, it was going to be hard to get you back into the fantasy.
Another shaking bill is offered causing Bakugou to sigh. He grabs the stack from your lap and sets it aside.
"Let's forget that for now, okay?" Kirishima beams and you nod slowly.
Bakugou gets an idea, knowing Kirishima will adapt quickly to Bakugou's intent. Zero shoves Red to the side, placing himself between your legs, climbing slowly up your body as if you were his lover.
He pants heavily as he does and you feel something as he grinds onto you. You cannot tell if it is an actually hard on or a semi, either way you're flustered and unbelievable aroused as this man, no this God among men stares into your very fucking soul. He stands, placing his hands on both sides of the armchair, leaning in close as you back away, cornering you like the prey you are.
His breath fans your ear, he wants to give it a bite, sink his teeth deep into your semi exposed neck as your smell pulls him in a little too far into the fantasy. He comes closer and his heat is almost unbearable.
"Do...do you do this for every show?" You squeak out, buzzing from excitement and primal fear. His eyes narrow as if he is lost in thought before the question finally registers in his mind. That deadly smirk returns, lips brushing your ear as he speaks, his rough hand grabbing onto the sash. The sound of tearing fabric fills the room for a moment. You squeeze your eyes shut.
"This is all for you, kitten." Suddenly the warmth is ripped away from you as massive arms wrap around Zero's middle.
"Don't forget about me, Princess." He drops Bakugou roughly on the ground before he falls to his knees. Worshiping you as if you were the star of the show.
Kisses trail up your legs, stopping on your inner thigh just before your hem. This time a whine leaves your lips, as two sets of red eyes gage your reaction. He continues his work, crawling up between your legs until you could easily wrap them around his torso, he motions you closer with a single finger and you follow, he knocks away the ugly tiara and places a black and golden flower crown atop your head. He lets his fingernails scratch gently along your scalp as he moves away. Before holding you by the nape of the neck. Keeping you nose to nose with him.
"That is more fitting for you my Princess." Kirishima gives you a lazy cat smile. Before a cocky laugh sounds behind you causing your core to flutter.
"Your Princess?" He fists Kirishima's hair forcing him to let go of you before Bakugou yanks him back, holding intense eye contact with his counterpart, "More like my slut."
"F..fuck." You groan before Bakugou leans down to Kirishima, he's close. So close their noses brush before Bakugou tilts Kirishima's head kissing him with a passion unseen and unmatched. Kirishima groans, giving Bakugou access to his mouth and you can do nothing but stare as you watch a struggle for power between two wet muscles, you barely notice Bakugou's broad other hand snake to Kirishima's throat giving it a good squeeze.
You're salivating, cunt clenching before a moan escapes your mouth. Bakugou pulls away and a lewd string of saliva connect the two before it breaks off. For a moment Kirishima looks as starstruck as you, his cheeks are so red, eyes lost as they stare endlessly into the man who is just a smidge shorter and smaller than him but God damn if he doesn't hold Kirishima's heart and yours in the palm of his sharply manicured hands. Bakugou speaks without his eyes leaving Kirishima's making sure he doesn't fall too deep into subspace.
"Tch. Sounds like you like what you see huh slut?" You whine again at his crude words. You watch his hand so softly sweep away hair from his counterpart's face smiling down at him cruelly.
"Oi, you still on cloud nine there? Or are you present enough to have a bit of a competition?" Kirishima's eyes come to life at the thought of a friendly fight. He gives him a sharp toothed smile, letting his hand trail up Bakugou's abs stopping over his slow beating heart. Kirishima can never understand how he keeps such a level head over so much heated contact, how he never slips up and gets a little too caught up. Or maybe the look in Bakugou's eyes say that he is. The hot head grabs his jaw line roughly, turning him towards you and looking at you at the same time.
"Alright let's see if you're my slut or his Princess."
"O...okay." You whisper pulling another deadly laugh from the horned devil. His wings unfurl a bit, making him seem bigger before his weighted gaze settles on your skin.  He let's go of Red, trapping you in the chair again, leaning as close as he did to the red head. Nose grazing yours.
"You don't even know what you've blindingly agreed too. Are you that desperate or just stupid?" His voice drawfs the rushing blood in your ears. His hand tentatively hovers over your throat, reading your gaze before he takes an extra step. Cutting off a bit of the blood flow to your brain, gasping for delighted breath you stare him down. Heart hammering in your chest as you felt like a small lamb ensured in the sharp teeth of a wolf.
"Answer me." A nasty bite, dark eyes clouded with his own dom space but still attentive enough to watch for queues.
Although you are more than willing, he is playing a dangerous game. He doesn't know your kinks, worse yet your safe word. This session had turned more into a scene than anything else. Even though the three of you are not having sex he needs to he sure of your limits.
Or a least a good dominant should. Still you answer and still he is a damn good guesser.
"I..I'm desperate." Bakugou's smile sends a rush of heat to your sex and an endless amount of endorphins to your brain. You feel a bit high, head light from lack of air. He turns your face slightly away from him, pressing his cheek to yours as he breaks the spell for just a moment, easing his grip on your throat.
"You say black when you want us to stop. Got it." It takes you a moment to process what he's saying before you frantically nod yes, "You gotta say it around baby girl."
God you melt, melt and die right there in the chair. His voice feather soft in this moment making you want more, more, more as if he really were the demon king brought here to corrupt you.
"Yes, King." It's a whisper but it's enough to make Bakugou's dick twitch.
Fuck what a good name and one he hadn't heard before. He presses a soft kiss to your hairline before using his soft voice for a final time.
"That's my good kitten." It's a soft growl and somehow you melt even more. He trails kisses along your jawline, giving you a moment to say yes or no before he kisses down your throat, pushing away the fabric of your dress to expose your shoulder. You moan as his breath tickles the perked skin, waiting impatiently for that anticipated kiss. Although it never comes. Instead he settles for sinking his teeth into your shoulder instead of your throat. Pulling and gnashing his teeth leaving a bruise as dark as your dress. Teeth outlined the black blossom. He drags his tongue along your throat before his replaces it with your hand. Pulling you into a bruising kiss that has you seeing fireworks, earning a moan. He slips his tongue in and you do not even attempt to fight, only attempt to keep up. He squeezes your throat tighter and you're floating. Clinging onto Bakugou with dying strength, nails biting into his biceps.
Too soon he pulls away, a hazed look in his eyes surely matching your own. His cheeks slightly flushed as the two of you pant. He gives a cocky grin as if he already knows that he's won. He steps back a bit, hitting Kirishima on the shoulder before whispering in his ear.
"Black means stop got it?" Kirishima holds contact with him and nods before coming close to you.
Unlike his counterpart Kirishima uses more of his hands, letting them trail on your legs, your arms, nails raking against your scalp. Pulling at your hair. It is hypnotic in the same sense that Bakugou was. You sigh deeply, happily as you look into a deep set of ruby red eyes. He takes his side of you, the right side, especially since Bakugou already claimed your left. Gently he allows one hand to rest on your hip. He gives you a moment and when nothing comes out of your mouth he squeezes. Kissing slow, soft kisses on your jawline, throat. Lips pressing on the crook of your neck before he too removes the fabric exposing your other shoulder. He does not breathe hotly over his meal, he dives right in.  Pointed teeth sinking in as you groan from the pleasure.  He almost draws blood. He does not suck, no he only bites. All teeth marks set deep in blackish blue when he pulls away. He checks on you again before he methodically he leans in, grabbing your chin to tilt you to him, kissing you so softly, lips moving at a snail's pace before they begin to quicken. Faster and faster until those teeth are pulling at your bottom lip, tongue finding its way in as you sigh into the kiss.
Just as before the kiss ends too soon and you cry out in mock rage but true agitation.
God you just wanted them. Kirishima makes room for Bakugou to push his way into the small space before you. Each trapping you from their respective side.
"So…" Kirishima pants, Bakugou finishes for him.
"Who wins? Who owns your dirty mouth?" Their voices low and breath mingling with yours as they stare into your face.
"Can..can you please show me my options again."

Hello, I like You
Pairing: kaminari/reader
Denki Kaminari
Word count: 1.4k
+ summary: You are Jirou’s cousin and you were visiting for the weekend. Kaminari falls in love with you when his eyes landed on you but he is too nervous to talk to you that where Shinso comes in.
Genre: fluff
Tumblr media
"Jirou I-I don't know if I'll fit in." "Nonsense _____. They'll love you. Don't be so nervous all the time." "Jirou I'm not like you. You are so blunt and out there. You're never nervous about anything." "You are one to talk. You are going to a performing arts school and you want to be a singer. I'm too on edge about sharing my music with anyone." "Mmm...whatever. I'm still learning how to use my voice without putting people to sleep." You said looking around the U.A. campus. Jirou your cousin had invited you to a party that 1A was having. You had been so busy with your school but you were able to get some much needed time off. "You would make a great hero _____," Jirou said nonchalantly. "You aren't the only one who thinks that. But then again others think I would make a great villain too." "I know. I know. You know I just want my baby cousin to be happy." She nudged your shoulder. "You are literally 2 ½ months older. Not that much of a difference." "I just like to tease you." The two of you approached a building label 1A. "Ok. They are kind of idiots, mainly the ones I hang out with." "That's just to soothe your ego." "Yeah...Wait, I don't have an ego problem. Ugh, never mind you. Our parties are usually mellow. Except for Bakugou, Kaminari, Kirishima, Mina, and Sero. Iida sometimes." "So they are loud people. Like your dad?" She nodded and pulled on the door. "Hey, guys this is my cousin, _____. She is spending the weekend with us." "Gorgeous." A black-haired boy said Sero you remembered. "You are pretty and are you sure you are Jirou's cousin?" a blonde boy known as Kaminari said.
Jirou had a scowl on her face and sent her jack's into each one of their ears. "Shut your faces." She said. "Trust me we are very similar. Except I don't play as many instruments as she does and I'm jealous because of it." You laughed. "I saw most of you guys at the Sports fest you did really well. Nice try Sero." His face fell down. "Don't remind me." Kaminari was laughing. "I wouldn't laugh Dunce you were flirting with vine girl before she knocked you on your ass," Bakugou said. I chuckled slightly. "Congrats on winning Bakugou." "I didn't win. Half n' Half passed out I didn't get a chance to beat him.” "Oh ok." You smiled awkwardly. "Is he always like this?" You whispered to Kaminari who was standing next to you by now. "Yeah. But you get used to his brut attitude and rude behavior. Usually, Kirishima is here to calm him down." "I think you did well at the festival. I mean you must be strong if Todoroki had chosen you to be on his cavalry battle team." You smiled at the blonde boy. He blushed a little. "Even though Jirou has told me several times you are just a stun gun with a battery limit." "Oh come on. I'm better than a stun gun. I'm strong than one." He started to flex his muscles. "You have the same brain capacity as a stun gun," Jirou said from behind you. "Whey!" Everybody said at the same time. You started to laugh. Kaminari pouted a little. "I think you look cute when you have that dumb expression on your face." "Uh-uh..." Kaminari was stumbling, he felt his brain short circuit. "You actually made him shut up for once. Thank fucking god sometimes I feel my brain cells dying when he talks. But then again I am the one listening to him." You heard a tired and dull voice say. "Cool you're that guy that can brainwash people," You said excitedly. "Wow, a person that doesn't think I'm evil. I'm flattered." "Evil? Oh people say things like you would be better off as a villain?" "You got it, sweetheart. What is your quirk?" "It's almost like a lullaby I guess. Whenever I sing people tend to pass out. People used to say stuff like I would be great for stealing things and getting away with it." "Hey if the hero thing doesn't work out and you decide being a musician doesn't fulfill your needs we can always pair up together and rob places." He said sarcastically. You laughed at the idea of being a villain. "I don't see why not." The whole time Kaminari was watching the exchange between you and Shinso. He slowly became jealous. "I'm Shinso by the way." He stuck his hand out to you. You returned the gesture. "_____." While shaking your hand Shinso could feel Kaminari gawking at the two of you behind his back. ”Kaminari do you mind helping me with something." He said to the blonde standing next to you. "Uh sure." They both looked at you. "It's fine. Jirou said something about showing me her room and setting up my mattress anyway. See you guys later.” You walked away and caught up with your cousin.
"You looked like an idiot just standing there while I did all the talking,” Shinso said rolling his eyes. "She called me cute." "Rudolph please calm down," Shinso remarked. "If you are nervous to talk to her you need to get over it she is only here for 3 days. Only chance buddy after Jirou won't let you near her." "That's easy for you to say Shinso! You don't give a fuck what people think about you." "That's not true. I would like people to think of me as a caring and nice hero and not a villain." "Well, you sure don't act like a nice person." Shinso let out an exasperated sigh at his best friend's overreaction. "She is just so...She is everything!" Kaminari shook Shinso’s body. "Alright then. You are going to hate me for this but you need to shut the fuck up. Now, what type of soda do you want?" "Mounta-" Kaminari felt my body go numb. He wouldn't. "For the rest of the night, you are going to act like nothing's wrong. You are going to act like the usual annoying self you are going to very nice to ____ and a little flirty. Like you always are but more directed at her than at 9:30, you are going to ask her to go outside with you and then ask her on a lunch date for tomorrow. Do I make myself clear?" Denki felt his head nod. This isn't the way he wanted to do things. Why did he have to be such a dunce and fall for Shinso's dumb trick?
"That was really funny Kaminari." You laughed at the joke he made about Jirou. "I'm going to get some food you want some?" "Sure thing pretty lady." You blushed a little and went to the kitchen. "What are you doing?" Jirou asked. "What?" "Kaminari is an idiot." She stated. "A cute one and a funny one at that, Emo Princess." "What did you call me?" "Kyoka calm down it was just a joke. I like him so what?" "But _____-" "Kyoka come here," You asked her to come in closer so you could whisper to her. "Listen I had a little crush on him since the sports festival." "You really have no standards do you _____." You stuck your tongue out at her. "He's nice and funny. I like him. Deal with it." You walked away with a bag of chips. "I got some chips if that's ok with you?" "That's perfect." The blonde boy replied with a happy smile on his face. "Hey, _____ I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me tomorrow?" "Really?" "Yeah, I understand if you think I'm weird." "Nonsense Kaminari I would love to go on a date with you." You hugged him. "Uh _____ what are you doing?" He asked when he snapped out of Shinso’s trance. "Um hugging you?" "W-why?" "As a thank you. I guess. You know for asking me on a date." "You said yes?!" "Uh yes. Didn't you just hear me?" "Haha. Um, Shinso brainwashed me to ask you out." "Oh, I see." You looked down disappointed. "That's because I was scared to ask you out myself. Not that I didn't want to! Tomorrow afternoon then?" "It's a date!" You kissed his cheek. He lightly blushed."A-alright then," He said nervously. You chuckled lightly at his nervous behavior because he was cute.

Don’t Trust Random Portals (Crossover AU): Part 2
Class 1-A was in the cafeteria, a few of them were eating but most of them were talking. The Dekusqud (Uraraka, Deku and Iida) were talking about ways to improve their quirks, while the Bakusquad (Bakugou, Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero and Mina) were talking about random, stupid things. Mineta was thinking about different ways to get the girls to like them. The rest were talking about what happened to them at the USJ.
Aizawa was walking around campus, looking out for mischief he didn't find any because most of the students were either talking to the teachers or in the cafeteria. When he got a notification, saying that he's needed in the P.E Grounds, he didn't get any further information, he went straight to the P.E Grounds and was met by a very confused 22-year-old man (a.k.a Gogy) in glistening purple armour. Both looked at each other for a solid minute before Aizawa started to move his hands to his scarf, causing the other male to scutter into the shadows.
Aizawa grumbled at himself, before heading towards the last location of said brunette.
George ran off before downing an invisibility potion and immediately stripping himself of his armour, just in time as the ravenette sped past him, quite obviously not knowing where George was. He sighed in relief as he stalked off in the opposite direction, in hopes to get his bearings as to where he was. It was quite obvious from that strange man that he was no longer in Minecraft or his own reality. He felt a cold breeze on his delicate skin and immediately put on his armour and shield up, sword in his left hand on guard, ready to kill whatever may harm him.
Problem was, the danger was his friends, piling on top of him as they too, finally came out the Portal, which seemed to no longer exist. "Oww... Get off me! DREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAM!!!" George screamed, forgetting that he was being hunted down by a very much capable person (or should I say, hero?). Eventually, everyone who went through the Portal had made it to the other side, slightly injured, but alive! Dream and Sapnap lunged towards Gogy, tightly hugging him before everyone else made their way towards him. At this point, the potion's effect had worn off, which led to the next scene of everyone being coddled together and held down by Aizawa's scarf, excluding Ghostbur, who just fazed through the scarf, confused and in character.
"Follow me or else," Aizawa said, glaring at every single person captured. The others followed, realising that there's no point in fighting and it could help them more, while Ghostbur followed as air-headedly as ever. They were taken to the conference room, where the police stood by, analysing every soul that walked in.
Aizawa closed the door and let his scarf go, "My name is Aizawa Shota. First things first, who are you?" Aizawa asked, sternly. Dream pulled up the chatbox, which seemed to work just fine, to message all the others what to do.
<Dream> They don't need to know our real names, use your IGNs.
Dream then started the introductions off, "My name is Dream and these are the other members of the DreamSMP." He paused, thinking of what to say next before talking again. "We came through a portal to look for GeorgeNotFound." Dream said, pointing to George, who immediately jumped in with his introduction. "I'm GeorgeNotFound." "Sapnap here!" "I'm BadBoyHalo, but you can call me Bad for short! This is Skeppy!" Bad said pointing at the diamond haired boy, who waved at the others. "My name is Antfrost!" The Siamese cat man smiled. "AwesameDude." "I'm Ponk! Do you have any lemons by any chance?" Ponk asked before getting bonked over the head by the next person to introduce themselves. "Ignore him, I'm Punz. Nice to meet you...?" "It's really not, considering we've been pulled around, I'm Purpled, by the way." He then sighed annoyed. "I'M QUACKITY!!! This is my dead ex-husband JSchlatt, but we call him JCorpse!" Quackity shouts as he tugs at a very dead looking ram man with a blue sweater. "My name is KarlJacobs!" Karl happily says as he holds Quackity and Sapnap. "Name's Eret." "CaptainPuffy here!" "I'm Nihachu!" "Hi! I'm Fundy!" "Hello! I'm Ghostbur, but I use to be called Wilbur if that helps!" Ghostbur floats towards Aizawa and gives him some blue, "Have some blue! You look sad!" And as the blue is given to the tired man, the blue became a darker shade of blue, and Aizawa felt just a tad bit happier, which confused him. "TommyInnit, you best stop that!" A man with pink hair and a dead pig mask shouts at him, grabbing the blond by the back of his shirt. "I'm Technoblade, Tommy I swear to the Blood God if you don't stop I don't know what I'm gonna do..." Tommy stops and grumbles crossing his arms in annoyance. "I'm Philza Minecraft, please ignore Tommy, he's a good lad I swear-" "I'm Tubbo and this is Ranboo!" Finally, the last person introduces themselves, "I'm Jack Manifold!"
Tsukauchi nodded, saying that they were telling the truth. "What are you doing in U.A?" "Honestly, we don't know where we are or how we really got here other than through an unknown Portal." Dream replied.
"Do you know what quirks are then?" Aizawa asked, not knowing that they came through a different world. "Quirks? What the fuck are those?" Tommy said, and before Aizawa could answer. "LANGUAGE, Tommy!!!" Bad shouted. Tommy sticks his tongue at Bad. "Quirks are, basically superpowers, that a lot of children get at the age of four," Aizawa said, surprised that they didn't know what quirks are, as Nezu walks in. "Well, we probably have something similar to that but I don't think we are from the same world as a whole," Techno said. "That might be a problem if that's the situation... Stay here, we need to figure something else out." Nezu tells them.
As all the unknown people leave, the DreamSMP people started to speak with each other. "Well, that was hard... What the hell is going on?" JCorpse asks. "Other than not being in Minecraft as a whole and being in a world filled with superpowers, I can't tell you..." Dream replies, "The chatbox seems to work but I don't want to use any commands just yet. Not unless they try and canon kill us in which then I'll just put everyone in creative and we can go wild. Though I highly doubt they'd do that, considering they seem too friendly to do that." "All we can do is wait huh? This sucks," Techno ends the conversation as he heard the footsteps of those that were interrogating them.
"Come with me, to a dorm building, since you don't have any documents stating anything about you," Aizawa said, leading them off to where the 24 people would be staying. They all comply, trying to learn more about the world around them, only to learn that this school is more secure than any of America's schools. "What kinda fuckin' school is this?" Tommy asks curiously and innocently until BBH shouted at him for swearing, pissing Tommy off. "Well, due to the existence of quirks, we've needed a way of combatting criminals and villains. This school is for heroes." Aizawa explained. "Oh no." Techno's Greek mythology starts kicking in as he starts laughing mischievously, not that Aizawa could tell as Technoblade's monotone-ness makes it hard to read him. Tommy sighed at Technoblades laughter as Phil chuckled at the duo.
Soon they got to the abandoned building, new but quite clearly unused, Aizawa put a card up to a card reader and scanned as the door opened and he led all 24 people in. "This is where you'll be staying until we figure out what to do with all of you. Try not to leave, it's best if we could keep all of you a secret for now." Dream nods to this and watches the shorter man leave, the beady eyes on his mask looking into his soul.
And when I tell you the room of people sighed, they all did, Ghostbur phasing into his more alive skin and JCorpse reverting to a living being, Quackity and Philza stretching their wings seeing as they weren't in Dream's SMP. "Can we still craft and go into creative or no?" Purpled asks, trying to figure out what they could all still do. Techno, Ponk and Punz immediately tried to open their inventory, only to notice that it looked a bit weirder. Their inventories looked more jumbled up as the fixed boxes that kept things organised had disappeared, yet if they tried to pick anything more then 37 items (a.k.a a full inventory with the offhand holding something), they couldn't. Dream opened the chatbox and started to type the command that made him powerful.
/gamemode creative Dream Your game mode has been updated to Creative Mode
He started to levitate and realised the power of Minecraft creative mode and OP was still with him. "Well, I guess now I can put all of you in creative if things get dire enough and a final canon life could get lost..." "POGCHAMP!" Tommy cheered, seeing as everything somewhat worked. "Wait, what happens if we die here? Would we respawn?"
The silence in the room became thicker than when Aizawa left. "There's only one way to know you know... Kill me, I'll probably come back!" Quackity offered his life. Punz sighed, feeling slightly guilty as he pointed his crossbow at Quackity. 10 minutes later Present Mic walked in quite confused as to how Quackity got out. Once he left Quackity started to talk again, "So I respawned at the same place we crashed here! Safe to say, I don't think we can actually die like they do?" "Yep! It's still day time, so we should probably do something while the sun is still-" "We should try rebuilding that weird Portal!" Ponk interrupts Dream, gaining a glare from the green man himself, "What? I'm trying to help here!" "He isn't wrong, we should try to get back without needing their help... You never know what those people could be planning!" Puffy tried to stand up for the lemon lover. Dream, still being in creative, started to summon crying obsidian and moved the Portal, making it in a spare dorm room, as there where 30 rooms and 6 where unoccupied. But as Dream tried to light the Portal with flint and steel, the swirling blue that got them here didn't appear. Dream frowned under his mask and tried lava and water, only to get the same reactionless thing. Nothing worked. They were trapped in this unknown world.
"It's not working... I don't know how to light this up. We... We should figure out how to act in front of everyone else. I think it would be very funny if we kept up the role-playing act up whilst staying best friends behind closed doors, plus it seems like the other people don't have the chatbox either, so we could send messages without looking weird..."

Holograms
This is something new that I’ve written for @lucieblckthorn 💜 I know there are some good TLH/TDA time travel one shots out there, but I also wanted to write mine, so here it is.
Ship/Characters: TLH gang, Kit Herondale, Ty Blackthorn, Mina Carstairs Rating: T Prompt: Kit, Ty and Mina find themselves in 1903 and meet the TLH gang
“Jamie? Matthew? Thomas?”
Christopher’s voice echoed through the stairs that led to the laboratory in the basement. James and Matthew were at the Institute, and they run downstairs to check on him once they heard him call for their help.
“Are you okay, Kit?” James asked, looking around the room that used to be Henry’s lab once upon a time. Relief filled him when he realized that there wasn’t anything on fire. “I thought you were hurt.”
Christopher shrugged and adjusted his glasses. His hand left a black mark on his cheek but he didn’t seem to care. “I’m good, thanks for asking. Don’t you notice something wrong?”
“It seems all in order to me,” Matthew commented with a smirk. “Considering that there are no broken chairs or tables or glass on the floor. That’s a new achievement for you, Kit.”
“Christopher is right, though,” James interjected, moving closer to the furthest wall in the room. “Someone has been through the portal.”
Both heads turned and examined the area James had just pointed out. “It’s true, Jamie. The portal has been activated. Was there an Enclave meeting or something that you know of?” Christopher wondered as he untied his protective jacket that he only used when he was in the lab.
“My parents are here. I’ve just seen papa, so I doubt it.”
“Then who could have…?” Matthew began, but then something caught his eyes in the portal. “By the angel, who is that?”
James and Christopher were as speechless as Matthew when a little girl who could have been around two strutted into the laboratory.
“James! It’s a baby!” Christopher said.
“We can see that,” Matthew remarked. “The problem is, who is she and what is she doing here?”
James ignored the two and walked to the little girl trying not to scare her. “Are you lost, little one?”
The girl was petite and had deep dark brown eyes and dark hair. She didn’t say anything, she just put her finger in her mouth and clutched on the teddy bear she was carrying.
“I think we should cross the portal and take her back,” Matthew offered.
“What? No. We can’t do that! What if we go somewhere and we can’t go back?” Kit said.
“Christopher is right. What if we cross the portal and it closes on us and we’re the ones who are stuck?” James noticed, trying to take the kid’s hand. The little girl gripped her hand around James’ really hard, then she looked up at him with adoration as if he was the most beautiful thing on Earth. “Oh, she trusts me,” he added.
“James, she seems to have a thing for you.”
“Gross,” Christopher commented.
Matthew glared at Kit and rolled his eyes. “My comment didn’t have a double meaning.”
“This is not the time to argue. Shall we take her to Lucie before I ask my parents how we should handle this?”
“I think it’s a great idea.”
James, Christopher and Matthew found Lucie in the training room with Cordelia.
“Do you want something, James?” Lucie asked as she tried to duck because Cordelia was aiming her sword at her.
“We have a guest,” Matthew said, but neither Cordelia nor Lucie stopped their practice fight to look at who the guest was.
“Would you please not ignore us, Luce?” James shouted to get her attention. The little girl held on his hand with such strength he thought she might not be human.
Lucie and her parabatai halted their movements and grabbed a towel from a bench nearby to wipe the sweat off their faces. It was Lucie who noticed the baby. “By the angel, Jamie!!! Where did you steal a child? Do you know that kidnapping a mundane is punishable by law?”
“Calm down, Lu,” James reprimanded his sister, who usually imagined the most creative scenarios when it came to their lives. “We did not kidnap this kid. We found her in the lab in the basement.”
“She’s adorable,” Cordelia commented, crossing the room to get closer to her. She lowered to her height so that they were at the same eye level. “What is your name, baby?”
Everyone in the training room waited for the girl to say something, anything. “Mi-mi, Na-na, Mi-mi,” the baby girl replied.
“She’s just blabbering nonsense,” Matthew concluded.
“Maybe she’s just shy, don’t you think?” Lucie noted, crossing her arms on her chest expectantly.
Matthew was about to reply to Lucie when two people barged inside of the training room and closed the door behind them. They hadn’t realized they weren’t alone.
“I told you to get that Magnus Bane to help us,” the blond guy said.
“He was having a vacation with his husband! And you know that we can’t use the damn portal just like that. We can’t do like that time we tried to revive…” said the second guy, who had a mop of black hair which reminded the people present in the room of somebody else.
“Who the heck are you?” asked the one with golden hair. He had a set of deep blue eyes, but that wasn’t the trait that Matthew, Christopher, Cordelia, Lucie and James noticed first.
Matthew advanced towards them. “What is that expression? Heck? What does it mean?”
“Math, that’s not the problem here,” James interjected. “Who are you?”
The two guys exchanged a glance and whispered something in each other’s ears before speaking. “Look, dude, you are in no position to ask the questions here. And why are you dressed as if you were in the Victorian era or something?”
“Edwardian, we’re in the Edwardian era,” Lucie corrected him.
“Are you kidding, right?” The guy with black hair wondered in astonishment, then tugged on the other guy’s jacked and pointed at the little girl next to James. “Your sister is here!”
“What the flying -! How did you come here, kiddo?” he said, running towards the baby girl and hugging her. She hugged him back but she still wouldn’t leave James’ hand. The teenager glared at James, but James grinned smugly at him.
“Now you’re going to tell us who you are, okay? And why are you here.”
“Speaking of, where are we? I mean, which year is this?” the other one asked.
They all seemed confused as they gazed at each other. “Could they be from the future?” Christopher wondered out loud. “It’s not impossible, you know? Uncle Henry and Magnus Bane created the portals, what if the shadowhunters who come after us shall create even greater things?”
Some of them nodded in agreement.
“Do you also know Magnus Bane?” Blond guy asked.
“He’s one of our allies and one of my parents’ old friends,” James explained. “Speaking of…”
The door of the training room opened to reveal James’ father William, who was holding some papers in his hand. He looked at the young girls and boys scattered around the wide space with skepticism, tilting his head when he focused on the strangers.
“I heard someone run and came to check. Is someone hurt?”
“We’re fine, mister Herondale. Thank you for your concern,” Cordelia offered.
“You’re William Herondale?” The blonde guy guessed.
Will examined the young boy from head to toe, frowning at his weird clothes. “That would be me.”
Blond guy turned to black-haired guy as if he had just remembered that he had something on the stove and had forgotten to turn it off. “It’s him, Ty. Him! What the heck, wait till I tell my-“
“I guess you’ve come here through the portal, haven’t you?” Will stopped their exchange.
“Yeah? We come from 2015. We activated it because we wanted to go back to a specific moment in the past because the book we’ve stolen from Magnus Bane’s house said so- “blond guy put a hand on Ty’s mouth.
“Would you shut up, Ty! He doesn’t need to know all of these things! And he’s the director of the London Institute, he will call the Clave and we’ll go to jail and we’ll lose our marks.”
“Stop being dramatic, Kit! Ugh!”
“Kit and Ty, huh? Shadowhunters from the future thanks to a portal. Interesting,” Will commented with a grin. “Shall we make an agreement? I’ll help you go back to 2015 or something – does the world live until then? Amazing! – but you have to promise me that you won’t do it again.”
“But my sister –“ Ty said, but stopped abruptly. His whole features darkened. Kit patted his shoulder and they looked at each other. A look of understanding and affection.
“Dude, we agree, uhm, William Herondale,” Kit said, offering his hand to him. “Agree handshake?”
“What? Ha, okay, Kit,” he agreed, and he and Kit shook hands. “Alright. I think I should call Magnus now, because what do I know about going back to the future, huh?”
Their moment was broken by a: “by the angel!” uttered by Cordelia, which made everyone turn towards her. “You’ll cut yourself, dear,” she told the baby, who was gripping her hands on Cortana’s handle but she still couldn’t hold it properly since she was not strong enough. They were sitting on a bench. “Cortana isn’t rejecting her,” she added, awed by the fact that her sword was not pushing the child away.
“Maybe because she is a child?” Lucie offered, but Cordelia shrugged.
Will stared at the little child with dark hair and dark brown eyes and smiled. He had just thought that the baby reminded him of someone, but he wouldn’t say out loud nor he would ask Kit and Ty whether his suspicion was true. He could hinder the future of these kids or he may just delude himself that she was… “It’s time to go, kids. Come with me. I’ll take the baby if you like.”
Kit and Ty agreed and they left the training room with Will holding the baby in his arms.
“Wait until I tell them,” Kit said to Ty, and at that, Will grinned again.
A few hours later, after Magnus Bane had come and blamed Will for not letting him sleep his beauty sleep since he was still adjusting to the London time zone, he was able to create an enchantment that would bring Kit, Ty and the little baby girl to their time.
“I don’t know if it will work, but it doesn’t hurt to try. I’m actually enthralled by this!”
“You just like that the future you are able to cast such magic,” Kit commented, at which Magnus glared at him.
“If the guys from the future are all so conceited and direct, I don’t know if I want to live forever.”
“Trust me, you do,” Kit winked, and Magnus had no idea of what he was talking about.
As Kit and Ty and the girl were about to cross the portal to hopefully get to their future, Tessa arrived to the basement.
“Will, bach, you’re here.”
“Tessa,” the guy named Kit murmured. Will shot him a glance and smiled like a fool, which made Kit uneasy.
“It’s time for you to go back or to go forward as you please,” Will urged them. “Your parents may be worried for you.”
“My parents are dead,” Ty said. “But his parents…”
Kit elbowed Ty. “Yes, yes, I agree. They’ll be super worried because me and my sister have disappeared. We better go. Ty?”
Ty rolled his eyes and grabbed Kit’s hand, then they turned one last time and crossed the portal and they were gone.
“Do you think they’ve made it?” Will asked Magnus.
Magnus shrugged, unbothered. “I guess only time will tell. By the way, I’m suing you for all the time you’ve made me lose all of these years, William.”
“Let’s say we believe you, Magnus,” Will smirked, then Magnus started climbing the stairs to leave the basement.
He and Tessa were alone now, and she was confused. “Who were those people?”
Will took her hands in his and he kissed both palms. “Just people from the future.”
“Just people from the future? I wonder who they were and why they ended up here,” Tessa said, squeezing her husband’s hand and leading him towards the stairs so they could leave.
Will smirked but tried not to appear too excited because of the recent events. “I wonder that too, but we shall never know. Ugh, I’m hungry, Tess. Aren’t you?”
“That’s why I went to look for you. Dinner has been ready for ages, Will.”
“You should have eaten without me. You shouldn’t starve because your silly husband is dealing with dudes from the future,” he said with a jovial tone.
Tessa’s face contorted in confusion again. “Dude… what?”
“I heard those fellas say it. No idea what it means.”
“Then you shouldn’t say it, Will. What if it’s a bad word?” Tessa admonished him with a smile, not entirely convinced that was a bad word in the future.
“I doubt it or I’m going through that portal to scold those two.”

Shut Up, I’m not Scared!
Hey! I just finished, a certain part of School Briefs, (pretty sure it was Chapter 13 in the way the site I use is formatted) and turns out, Bakugou hates scary stories, or so it’s implied, so I wrote this real quick!
“She dropped me off just at the end of the street,” Mina continues with her storytelling, or for that matter, an actual ghost story that has been following her for years now.
Usually Bakugou wouldn’t be one to join shit like this, he won’t admit to himself, any less his friends, but fucking stories like this, scary ones, horror and ghost a like just didn’t suit well with him. They always gave him an unwanted thrill, a fear that prickled him.
But he stayed goddammit, first it was for that shitty red head, who begged for Bakugou to come join the rest of the ‘Bakusquad’ in the lounge area, using those famous puppy eyes of his, like what the fuck. At times those eyes of his reminded him of a Shiba Inu, a little dog with little eyebrows just like Kirishima’s own.
Kirishiba, he huffs, laughing at his own pun.
That’s beside the point, Kirishima had stuck to his side for the beginning of the night before he scooted closer to Mina to hear her story better, so there was no real reason for him to stay since his only incentive had left him.
Though if he walked out now, he would probably be called a sacredly-cat for leaving in the middle of Mina’s stupid story. Sure, he could always act cold, brush it off, but he was sure that Kaminari would mention it, and fuck that idiot knew his weakness, he’ll tease him and try to do that reverse psychology shit.
“As I passed the first house, the darkness seemed to get thicker, heavier even, it felt like I could climb on top of it, walk on it.”
He had no real reason to be afraid, a lot of the shit they were spewing was load of bullshit, exaggerated to make the story more enticing.
They pull all the tricker, using the fact they’re all going to die one day, darkness, even fucking shit like bugs are enough to pull anyone to fear and anxiety. They use the darkness, something that relates the brain to rest and sleep, relaxation, using your comfort against you. Throwing you into the unimageable in pure darkness when you’re greatest sense is gone, sight.
“And I could feel like someone was walking behind me as soon as I passed the second home, I did the trick with the makeup mirror, opening it up and looking at the reflection behind me. And there was no one, not a single person, but as soon as I was about to close the mirror, I swear on my life a black shadow moved.”
“It was just your fucking shadow.” Bakugou comments, stiff in his words as he was tensed.
Mina shakes her head rapidly, “Na-uh, I swear, there was no lamp post or anything, but I swore there was this like, black mass or something.”
“Someone was pulling a fucking prank on you with their quirk.” He says next, trying to calm his own nerves.
“What a shitty person.” Jirou says, calmly as she twirls one of her earlobe jacks.
“Guys!” Mina pouts, crossing her arms, “Let me finish!”
Bakugou groans, but waves his hand nonetheless, letting her finish as he falls back on to the sofa, looking at Kirishima who looked completely entranced with this sort of shit.
“Anyways!” Mina quickly says before anyone else has anything else to say. “I was almost home, I could see my neighbor’s house, so I started to walk faster, taking larger steps and all, I was practically running.”
She fastens her speech, like she was losing her audience and wanted to get the story to end, which thank fucking god.
“And as soon as I got to my doorstep, key out and all, I felt safe, I made it, I remember thinking but as soon as I entered the key into it’s whole, I felt my entire body freeze up, chills on my spine, and for a second I swore I could feel a hot puff of air on the top of my head.” Mina gives the audience an example, puffing once before continuing on.
“I shrieked and swung a fist, uppercut style,” she says proudly, but soon slumps her shoulders, “but there was no one.”
“Please tell you had it all video tapped.”
“Yeah! Security camera’s bitch!” Mina snapped her fingers, “it even records a separate video using infrared! You know, for those invisible using quirks? Well guess what? There was absolutely nothing caught! No body, no heat signature! No nothing!”
“Not even the puff of air on your head?” Kirishima as, flattening down a hand on the newly washed hair.
But Mina shakes her head, “None, I thought for sure I would catch something…but holy shit I thought I was gonna die, because the next thing I knew, I felt…” she shrugs her shoulders, “I don’t know, I felt free, the darkness didn’t look to dark anymore either, and that feeling of being watched? It was gone.”
“It was your brain cell kicking in.” Bakugou jokes, which Mina simply glares as Kaminari and Sero were the only one’s snickering.
“Sorry about that, I was sure it was my day to use it.” Sero joins in, causing Bakugou to even snicker.
“Okay, okay my turn!” Kaminari stands up, shooing Mina from her original seat.
“What? Go tell it from there!” She points from where Kaminari came from, but the blond wasn’t having it, pushing Mina causing her to fall to the side.
“My turn.” He says, plopping himself down while Mina whined about being injured, Kirishima gave her a smile of reassurance before the girl decided to take a seat next to Bakugou and away from the other idiots.
“Kaminari this better not be I thought I was home a lone but guess my mom was there story.” Jirou leans back, arms behind her as she smiles at the blond who only pretends to laugh at Jirou’s joke.
“Very funny, but no, okay, get this guys, I was visiting my gramps on the country side,”
“Oh hell no.” Mina says, shaking her head and throwing her arms cross one another several times.
“What?” Bakugou glances at her, confused.
“That’s where all that real shit is, tell him Kirishima, tell him that’s where the real shit is at.”
“That’s where the real shit is at.” Kirishima confirms, nodding his head in affirmation at Bakugou, and soon after smiling at the blond with a quick wink.
“Well, then buckle up Mina, because you know this shit is about to be even more real.” Kaminari says, looking stupidly serious.
Bakugou then tenses, already feeling the fear from the hype the two were giving it. Fucking shittt.
It was during the summer, so the nights weren’t as cold as they usually were. Crickets and frogs could be heard left and right, yet not one in sight to be seen.
He was a kid, he explains that it was late, but his mother, auntie and cousin had stayed up to talk, play and keep them entertained since they, the kids, were having a hard time sleeping.
“Then out of nowhere, I got hungry,” he laughs, patting his stomach, “And I begged my mom over and over to take me to the kitchen to get some food, since we lived in those separated room homes? Where the bedroom was it’s own building…”
“Like fucking courtyards? Open air yards?” Bakugou comments, not realizing that he’s speaking more often than usual.
“Yeah!” Kaminari smiles in graditide, “Well anyways, my mom told me to shut it but my auntie felt bad for me, and told me she’ll take me. So she picks me up.”
“Wait hold are you?” Sero stops him, creating a curious crowd.
“I was like, uh, probably seven? Six?”
“This could have been a dream!” Mina groans in annoyance, “are you sure this is real?”
“Yes! Yes it’s real!” Kaminari says, irritated now, “guys come on! I didn’t interrupt you Mina!”
Mina hums, asking for forgiveness and as soon as Kaminari accepts, he continues on.
“She was holding on to me, and as soon as we walk into the pathway to the kitchen there was this little thing by one of the walls. Just standing there, looking at us. It had a little ball on his hands, I’m pretty sure it was a football my cousin and I were kicking around earlier that day!”
The creature was hunched, or so says Kaminari, looked at both him and his aunt with a looking spooked like it didn’t expect either of them to come out so late. Before Kaminari could even figure out what he was looking at, his auntie had grabbed a baseball bat, another toy the kids had left around and started swinging it, yelling out words Kaminari couldn’t understand.
The creature then straighten it’s back, looking even more shocked than before, but the ball was still in their hands, holding it tightly, just a moment away from popping from it’s sharp claws.
Kaminari’s badass aunt had started marching towards it, Kaminari’s young brain still not yet comprehending what he was seeing, or even understanding why his aunt was so scared as she started swinging harder and faster.
It seemed like the creature finally got the hint his aunt was gonna beat his ass, as it turned around and started the attempt of climbing what Kamanari said was a concrete wall. The ball was now passed in one of his hands, trying to climb with it, but when it realized it couldn’t he had to let the ball go.
It climbed to the very top, turning back around on it’s fours to look at the two before jumping to the other side.
“After that, I got my snack and we made it back inside no problem, turns out my mom had her own adventures too! Said they found a nasty looking spider, like good thing I wasn’t there! I would’ve passed out!”
“Wait,” Bakugou backtracks, not at all noticing he was holding in a breath before talking, “what the fuck was the thing?”
Kaminari took a second to think before shrugging his shoulders, like it didn’t matter. “I dunno.”
“Dude!” Kirishima pipes up, “how could you be so chill? That’s creepy!”
“Hey man, it was years ago, and I haven’t seen or experienced any weird shit since then!”
“It could have been a hyosube.” Jirou had her phone out, the only light source causing her face to be luminated. “You could be cursed for life buddy.”
Kaminari playfully plays her off, “Come on Jirou, don’t say that.”
“Fucking stupid is what this is, I’m going to sleep.” Two scary stories were enough right? He doesn’t need this shit, and he’s sure if he hears another one of those fucking stories, he wouldn’t be getting any sleep tonight.
Kirishima nods in affirmation, “Yeah guys, Imma call it a night too!” he hops up from his seat and trails behind Bakugou.
The remaining four watch the two go, and as soon as they walk into the elevator close, Mina quickly whips her head back to the other three.
“Tots saw how Bakugou was hella tensed right?”
Jirou hums in confirmation, “Dude wouldn’t stop talking, he was totally nervous.”
“Come on guys leave him alone, the dude can’t be all perfect.”

Chapter 27 - Awkward
Chapter 26
Tumblr media
The last day of internship turned out way emotional that Y/N expected it to be. Baiji was bawling like a baby and her sidekick didn't nag her to be professional for the first time. Mostly because she didn't expect the interns to be so daring and different from the other ones. Oikawa was trying to act indifferent and manly but almost teared up when they arrived at the station. Everyone promised to keep in touch with each other.
Y/N's school started right after their internship. She filled in about how they started texting each other which felt extremely suspicious to Kyoka, but she was happy about the progress. Her eyes often went towards the door, waiting for that hot headed blond to enter the class. All of this progress was fine to her but, she wasn't sure if they were supposed to act like they were before or just talk to each other naturally. She knew how he acted in front of his squad whenever she talked to him. He felt embarrassed to talk to her and mostly avoided her in school.
"You know it's kind of weird how he suddenly did a 180 and started talking to you. I mean, he literally calls everyone an extra except for his own squad," Kyoka said to her.
"To be honest, I find this weird too. But it's nice to talk to him. He's funny sometimes and it's fun to tease him. He gets riled up so fast," Y/N said.
"Oh my god, you sound like you're went out with a guy on a date and now you're giving me review about the guy," Kyoka chuckled, "do you still blush?"
Y/N scoffed and said, "Shut up, you blush while talking to Kaminari. I've noticed it too."
"I blush when I wear skirt too, he's not special," Kyoka said, trying to defend herself, her cheeks going pink.
"Sure, you must be speaking the truth with that blush on your face," Y/N laughed.
The door opened, followed by Kirishima and Sero laughing loudly and saying, "Holy crap! What the hell Bakugou!" She looked at them and was presented with a sight - Bakugou looking like a pretty boy. He had his hair properly combed down.
Y/N couldn't help but chuckle at the sight. No matter how cute he looks, his attitude doesn't go well with that hair. She heard him complain and shout at them, "Stop laughing. My hair has gotten used to this and I can't get it back the right way. Did you not hear me? I'll kill you both!"
"I'd like to see you try pretty boy!" Sero said, still laughing. Y/N quickly took out her mobile and clicked picture of him.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME!" Bakugou shouted, his hair popping back up to what it usually looked like. She turned back to see Kyoka talking to Mina and Tsuyu, probably catching up to what their internships were like. Soon the conversation turned to the topic of hero killer and Kaminari pointed at them saying, "Now if you wanna talk about the ones who really changed, it was those four."
"Oh yeah! The hero killer!" Sero said.
"Glad you guys made it back alive, seriously," Kirishima said."
Y/N looked at the two boys being pulled by their collars by Bakugou who was looking at her back. She didn't know how to react and in a rush, she laughed and loudly called, "Hey pretty boy! Haha!"
Silence.
The whole class looked at her, noticing her sudden weird behavior followed by Bakugou shouting, "SHUT UP GRANDMA! I"LL KILL YOU!!" They were just surprised that Y/N actually made fun of him for the first time. Thankfully it didn't last long when Kaminari suddenly started talking about the viral video of the hero killer. Well this was awkward for both of them. After fighting with each other almost everyday, it was kind of hard to be suddenly friends with him and joke with each other. She usually had no problem but with Bakugou, when they just became friends, she didn't want it to become an issue. She wasn't so sure if he was gonna act like they usually did before their internship.
Bakugou also, found it a bit hard but he wasn't one to overthink about such things. So he talked to her naturally but at moments, when he looked at her, it made him feel shitty somehow. Like he wasn't doing something right.
Some kind of guilt in the pit of his stomach.
Tumblr media
"I am ready! Hope you're ready to return to your lessons! Today it's hero basic training! Feels like I haven't seen you in a while! Welcome back!" All Might said, "Now then, listen carefully for what's in store. We're going to be conducting a little race. Take everything that you've learnt in your internships and apply it in this rescue training."
Iida's hand shot up as he asked the obvious question, "If it's rescue training, then shouldn't we be in USJ instead?"
"Ah, that facuility specializes in disasters. As I said earlier, this is a race. So prepare yourself! You're about to step into Field Gamma! Inside is a metal labyrinth densely packed with steel factories, so good luck finding a way around. You'll be competing in groups of five and one with six! Each person starts with a different location on the outskirts of the model city. I'll send you the distress signal and you do what you must to rescue me! Whoever finds me first, wins!" All Might said and slowly turned his head towards Bakugou with his fingers pointing towards him, and said, "But try to keep property damage to the bare minimum please."
"Why are you pointing at me-" Bakugou asked, turning his head away.
The first team included the students who had the best mobility in class - Iida, Ojiro, Mina, Midoriya, Sero and Y/N.
Sure she had good mobility and she could've won because of her speed too but jumping in an area with unstable footing and slippery surface, wasn't exactly favorable for her quirk. Her foot slipped at least three times. It was something she needed to work on and later find a way that will help her balance herself.
After the class was over, as the girls started changing into their uniforms, they started talking about their recent progress. Y/N got a lot of praises for her new technique, even though she came third in the race.
"We thought that was a one time thing you did during festival!" Mina exclaimed.
"Yeah, the hero I was training under said I should work on that since it can come in handy, you know?" Y/N smiled, awkwardly. She wasn't used to compliments.
"Yeah-" Mina got interrupted by Kyoka saying, "What the heck is this?"
Everyone turned around and found a small hole on the wall. The girls were all halfway to change into their uniforms, that is, half naked when they heard a voice, a very familiar and perverted one from the other side of the wall - the boy's lockerroom.
"Hey Midoriya! You won't believe what I just found! The jackpot! Someone made a hole into this wall! Our previous generation has given us a gift! You know what's next door, right? The girl's lockerroom!!" Mineta said pointing to the wall, where a poster was half ripped off to Midoriya who's mind was occupied with what All Might said after their race.
Iida being the gentleman and righteous person he is, immediately revolted against it. Hoping to stop Mineta before he did something bad, he said, "Don't even think about it! Peeping on them like that would be criminal!"
Mineta tore off the whole poster off and desperately said, "Then you'll have to throw me in solitary confinement cause you can't stop me!!!" He looked through the hole, hoping to get a glimpse of any of the girls, "I wanna see Yaoyorozu's curves, Ashido's slender waist, Hagakure's floating underwear, Uraraka's super tight body, Asui's soft boobies, Y/N's b-" Before he could further say anything vulger, Kyoka put her earphone jack through the hole and hit his eye.
"Ugh! Thanks Kyoka!" Uraraka said.
"Despecible. We're gonna close this hole immediately!" Momo said.
Kyoka went to her locker and started dressing back to his uniform as soon as Momo came forward to close the hole. Y/N lightly smacked her head and said, "I know that look."
She sighed and said, "Ofcourse you do. But he even called your name."
"And thankfully you didn't let him continue," Y/N's turned back to her locker, "Because I despise people like him more than any one else. Fucking disgusting."
"I might be crossing a line...but did you...face any kind of.."
"Kind of..I guess," Y/N said sighing, "I'll talk about it someday. I don't wanna kill my mood."
"Oh yeah, I forgot. You're gearing up to get a boyfriend."
"Shut up," Y/N said supressing her smile and biting her lips, "it's not that serious."
"Oh my god, you want to be serious!"
"Wha- shut up! I mean, ofcourse but not now!"
"No offence but a guy as rude and dense as him is not a good idea..." Kyoka said, "but you already have a crush."
"I am fully aware how bad that is. Besides," Y/N smiled, "I feel like...it's not the right time to date. We should concentrate on becoming a hero first."
"Well I'm just glad you know that."
"To be honest, I think almost every U.A. students do."
"You didn't have much girl friends did you?"
"....I did."
"Your cousins don't count."
"Aizawa's gonna make us stand outside if we are any more late than this."
Tumblr media
Bakugou probably didn't hear about the little commotion because most of the time he ignores people, but Kirishima did fill his ear about that. Well, he was friend with a talkative guy to not know about things. And he didn't exactly have a reaction besides, "Whatever."
Aizawa made an announcement at the end of the last class, "Well it''s almost time for summer vacation. Don't get too excited. You can't just relax the entire month. You'll be training while you're camping in the woods. However, those of you who don't pass the final exam before the semester is over, will have summer school."
The whole class was half excited and half nervous, but overall way more looking forward to their training and sleepover. "Come to think of it, we never had a sleepover huh?" Y/N said to Kyoka while they were near the exit gate.
"Half of the time we are too tired. I think we would actually be sleeping if we have sleepovers," Kyoka said.
"Unless, we call the girls together oneday. But to be honest, I am not a whole ball of energy like Mina. I'll be sleeping anyway," Y/N chuckled, "Alright, bye!"
As Y/N was walking towards the station, she noticed her new friend on the way.
"Hello pretty boy~"
"Shut up! And use that mouth to read language cause your mistakes make me puke!"
"How do you even know that?!"
"Fucking Kirishima! He talks too much!"
"And you shout too much. Chill dude-"
"You're the one to talk," Bakugou muttered.
"I only shout at you though," Y/N said, "it's like the only form of communication when you're shouting."
"SHUT UP GRANDMA!" Bakugou shouted, "I've seen you get angry before."
"....he's disgusting. I mean don't you guys feel that way too?! Mineta, a fucking hero with an attitude like that?!!" Y/N said, "Besides, didn't you hear what he said about us girls? What he was about to do? If Kyoka didn't stop him, he would've commented shit about all of us. Doesn't it make you angry? Doesn't it bother you?!"
"Why should it?" Bakugou blurted out, "I don't care about extras like him."
"....okay," Y/N said. The rest of the time they walked together was silent. It was uncomfortable an awkward. It wasn't what exactly Y/N wanted to hear from Bakugou. Maybe somewhere she felt this was what he might answer, but a huge part of her did think he would hate Mineta's actions too.
But Bakugou on the other hand meant what he said. He didn't actually care. He isn't supposed to. But why was he feeling like this again? And even after Y/N said fine?
Just like before, some kind of guilt in the pit of his stomach.

BNHA as Hetalia Characters (Axis + Allies only)
Hahahahaaaa.. I’m still Hetalia trash 😇
Mirio Togata as America
Tumblr media
I first put Denki as America but then I saw a post and now I can’t stop thinking about BTT SeroKiriKami so yeah-
Mirio and America have more things in common other than being blond, blue-eyed precious beans that need to be protected
First of- s t r o n g. They’re both canonically some of the strongest characters in their respective series despite their relatively young ages (Mirio being above some pro-hero levels despite still being in high school and America being well America lmao)
Additionally, they both have drive; they have a determination to become as strong as they possibly could, and stop at nothing to get there
Also, they love helping people! Mirio wants to save a million smiles, and America is a self-proclaimed hero (who admittedly isn’t the best but he’s trying okay)
Both of them kinda also have a hidden intelligence? Like, as in one would never think of them to be highly intelligent people because they’re so goofy and energetic
Since it’s implied that both Tamaki and Mirio game in their free time, him and America are also avid gamers (imagine them playing smash together lmao I feel like they’d break all the controllers)
Both v v competitive too (not as much as the next duo tho)- they’ll never back down from a challenge and face it head on with all their might!
Also, they’re basically the blond boy of the month but it’s every month lmao
(In my eyes they’re both cute little golden retrievers shshsjdjskal)
In conclusion, they’re sunshines who deserve the world and more
Katsuki Bakugo as England
Tumblr media
Okay fr hear me the fuck out-
I know it’s an unlikely pair
But they have their similarities just bear with me here
Yes, I was initially going to put in Romano for Bakugo (anger issues gang)
But then the more I thought about it, the more I realized that unlike Romano, he wouldn’t back away from a challenge or run at the slightest scare- Bakugo would take that shit and smother it into the ground
And while England may sometimes be portrayed as a prude gentleman type, we can’t forget his history- this man is probably one of, if not the most, ballsy countries to exist (at least back in his prime)
England is smart, calculated and cunning- how could you not be when you’ve conquered nearly the whole damn world?
He’s proud and maybe a bit too egotistical, and while lacking the anger issues and probably dead vocal cords of Bakugo, he sure as hell matches him in the pride and power aspect
Bakugo, on the other hand, is literally top of his class; boy is a nerd and has a perfect record
So he’s by no means any less smart than England, maybe a little more reckless, but he’s 16- you can’t exactly compare his mindset to a country’s
Even so he does act quickly on the battlefield, much like England assessed situations very precariously (most of the time)
Both of them would probably look an opponent dead in the eye and tell them to do it, bet you won’t pussy ass
On a lighter note tho, they’re two blond, spiky-haired tsunderes who are way to proud and smart for their own good
They also both listen to rock/punk so there’s that too
foreverfurrowedbrowclubTM
Aoyama Yuuga as France
Tumblr media
I know I just said SeroKamiKiri is the BTT but once again hear me out
I couldn’t not put Aoyama in as France
It’s literally a match made in Heaven guys cmon
They’re both sparkling, flamboyant and fabulous blondies
Although sometimes their attitude can be interpreted as holier-than-thou, really they just know that they’re amazing and don’t care what people think (we stan confident kings 😤)
They also know that they deserve the best luxuries in life, and definitely won’t settle for anything else
In terms of courage, they’re pretty much on the same level; they get scared easily and will more than likely either back out of the challenge or give up the moment they feel tired
The difference is, France will never regain whatever bravery he had before the French Revolution, but Aoyama is slowly building his courage up in his journey to become a hero
They also take things in stride, willingly or unwillingly (whether it be an ugly outfit or a defeat, they won’t be a sore loser lmao)
While not necessarily flirty like France, Aoyama can still charm people with his whims. Also, their relationship towards people that they can’t charm kind of mirrors one another? (Might be reaching here lmao)
I do think though sometimes that Aoyama shows some similarities with Poland/2P!Romano, but he has the most similarities with France so 🤷🏻‍♀️
Toga Himiko as Russia
Tumblr media
You may say she’s more like Belarus but nay nay I say
Belarus is the more kind of ‘stoic’ cruel in my mind; she doesn’t show much emotion besides annoyance and getting angry
Russia however
He’s ‘childishly’ cruel- looks innocent but is capable of some horrible, monstrous things.
Even though his face says otherwise, he does take some glee in torturing harming others (like, a lot)
Toga also does this, but in a much more obvious way lmao. She’s a villain, who drinks blood, there’s no doubt she hasn’t killed anyone. She also takes a lot more pleasure from hurting people than Russia does
They not that close with people, but the ones they are close to they are immensely protective of (Toga and the LOV, Russia and his sisters)
They also are capable of being highly intelligent, knowing more than what people think they know (Toga helping Twice our, and I high key headcanon Russia as a manipulative and cunning bastard who’s done many horrible things to people to get his way)
(I still love you Ivan)
I think this goes without saying but they’re really really violent
Russia just likes using his magic metal pipe of pain, and Toga likes her knives
They also have some really shitty pasts that have lead them to be who they are today
They may look cute on the outside, but they are oh so very cruel on the inside
Shota Aizawa as China
Tumblr media
Haha, old man syndrome-
These two have more in common than you’d think
First off, they have that wisdom that comes with age, and are trying to get the younger ones to learn it (Aizawa does this better lmao)
I can totally see them complaining about ‘kids these days’ even tho they’ve done the same shit back then-
Along with wisdom comes cunning and craft. I headcanon China as a low key genius, so he’s probably on par with Aizawa, if not better (in terms of battle strategy and such)
Even though they come off as strict, all they really want is the best for their students/siblings
They’re both physically strong (China was probably once hella jacked, and Aizawa speaks for himself)
They do tire out quite easily tho so there’s that
Both have a penchant for cute animals like cats (Hello Kitty’s a cat don’t @ me)
On a darker note, they’ve both suffered losses of close friends. While China has definitely lost a lot more, Shirakumo’s ‘death’ still took a huge toll on him. Likewise, China has lost all his ancient friends over the years, making him the last one left (except turkey and Mongolia they don’t matter rn)
Tenya Iida as Germany
Tumblr media
You cannot tell me this isn’t also a match made in heaven
They’re literally, at their very core, almost the exact same person
Iida is a stickler for rules- he follows every single one of them. Any and every. Pretty organized too, if I do say so myself
Likewise, Germany is also very strict with rules and regimens. He’s also canonically OCD so mans cannot stand messes (people or things)
It may make them seem like pains in the neck but really it’s the only way they know how to interact
Also have some angsty connections with their brothers
Although not as easily provoked as Germany, Iida can still be just as terrifying (mans tried to kill Stain I mean come on-)
As with nearly all of these characters, they’re both strong as hecc
Also, I feel like both of them are somewhat pressured by what their other family members have accomplished and want to achieve the same thing (Iida coming from a family of superheroes, and Germany really looking up to his father and brother and wanting to be like them but less yknow)
They don’t really know how to communicate well?? Like, of course they can talk and hold conversation but they have difficulty with most social interactions (it’s adorable)
More often than not the louder voice of reason within their friend group (Everyone in the Dekusquad besides Deku himself is the voice of reason lmao, and Germany is a no-nonsense kind of guy)
Smart bois (In Gakuen Hetalia, Germany is said to be one of the smartest students and tutors Italy, and Iida tries his best)
All in all very awkward and loud losers beans that need to learn how to not be so stiff lmao
Shoto Todoroki as Japan
Tumblr media
Y’all already know I had to pair the introverts together
Calm, collected and reserved- these two mind their own business like it’s a sports championship lmao
Even though they may come off as intimidating sometimes, in reality they’re just shy and don’t really know the basics of social interaction (more than Germany and Iida lmao)
They’re both fairly strong, too (Todoroki with his icy hot quirk makes him one of the most OP characters in MHA imo, and Japan definitely doesn’t carry around a katana just for show)
Very very convoluted and not so great childhood (Think the sengoku period was Japan’s childhood so he was basically torn up as a kid while Todoroki had to deal with Endebitch)
Also both pretty smart??? Like, high key they’re both very intelligent and skilled
Both their friends are slowly helping them get out of that super duper introverted mindset, but the poor bbs are still trying to learn how to be a lot less stiffe
They’re also really into architecture esp traditional Japanese architecture (canon in both)
I honestly think they’d get along pretty well if they met, tbh
(Japan would get him into anime and manga and the bookworm in Todoroki can’t resist)
The strange circumstance of Italy
Tumblr media
Honestly, I could not find anyone in MHA that was remotely similar to Italy
I was very close to putting in Mina or Nejire, since those two come to mind whenever I think of bright and bubbly (Maybe Kirishima too, but it just doesn’t fit)
So while those two are pretty much the most fitting I feel, they don’t completely encompass his character enough yonow?
Like, I genuinely cannot find anyone who is similar enough to compare him to
So for now, until I can find a suitable pick, Italy won’t have a MHA character to be paired up with 😔 sorry guys
What do you guys think? Do you agree or do you think different characters should be put in place?
If this gets enough notes, I might make a part 2 including female nations and the others (or whatever characters you guys request)
Requests are still open! You can ask for edits or character imagines/headcanons!

“mum, dad, this is y/n.”
“hello y/n!” chan’s mum, jessica, smiled, pulling you into a hug, “we’ve heard so much about you!”
“careful, you’re going to overwhelm her,” chan’s dad laughed, “i’m jack. it’s lovely to meet you, y/n.”
“and they are hannah and lucas,” chan said, pointing to his little sister and brother.
“hey!” lucas exclaimed.
“hello,” hannah greeted you.
you smiled, looking up to chan as he winked at you.
“y/n, i hope your hungry, we tend to cook a lot,” jack chuckled.
lucas got up, following his dad into the kitchen, “i mean, we’re not complaining.”
chan chuckled, “sorry if you get overwhelmed. they can be a bit wild.”
you smiled, shaking your head, “no, no. i like it.”
Saturday 30th December, 2017
“mum, dad, this is chan.”
“nice to meet you,” chan smiled, bowing slightly as he shook both their hands.
“yes,” your mum nodded, “y/d/n, can i speak to you for a second? in the kitchen?”
you sighed, watching as they walked into the kitchen together, closing the door behind them, “they could at least try and hide it.”
chan shook his head, running a hand through your hair, “it’s alright. we’ll just do this, and then leave, okay? and we’ll watch disney movies and eat chocolate.”
you chuckled, wrapping your arms around your boyfriend’s thin waist, “that sounds nice.”
Friday 14th December, 2018
“ah! y/n! there you are!” your friend, mina, laughed, “finally!”
“sorry i was picking out my clothes. living with nine men isn’t great for fashion advice,” you laughed.
she laughed nervously, “you still live with them? y/n. are you still dating chan?”
your breath hitched in your throat at the slight judgement in her voice. it hurt. it stung so, so much.
“yeah,” you nodded, “yeah i am.”
“y/n,” she pouted, “it’s not good for you. and what about the whole marriage and baby thing? you’ve always wanted that.”
“chan wants it too!” you exclaimed, trying not to get angry, playing it off with a laugh, “anyway, speaking of the whole marriage and baby thing. how are you?”
mina smiled, pulling her latest sonogram out of her bag, giving you time to blink away your tears before pretending to care, once again, about someone’s baby. it was stupid anyway, you couldn’t see anything on there, it was just a black and white blob.
“y/n! mina!” your other friend, julie, exclaimed, walking in the restaurant. you could practically see her diamond engagement ring sparkling from here.
god this was gonna be a long night.
Saturday 15th December, 2018
“i’m home!” you exclaimed, taking off your shoes and rubbing your feet slightly, the impromptu walk along the river last night and the walk home had not been considered when you picked out heels for yesterday evening.
“hello!” seungmin exclaimed, “no one else replied so i thought i should!”
“thank you!” you called, laughing as you walked into your’s and chan’s bedroom.
chan was sat there with his headphones on, back to you. you sighed, eyes filling with tears as you slowly shut the door behind you.
“oh, you’re home,” chan smiled, quickly stopping what he was doing and taking his headphones off before turning round to face you, “w-why are you crying?! y/n?”
he quickly stood up, scooping you into his arms and kissing your head as you buried your face in his chest.
“i hate them, chan, i hate them!” you cried, “why is it so bad?! i don’t understand!”
chan’s heart ached, he knew exactly what you were talking about and he understood your pain.
“it’s okay,” chan soothed, rocking you back and forth as he buried his face in the top of your head, “for everyone who doesn’t like us, there’s someone who does okay? and speaking of...”
he let you go, taking your hand and bringing you over to his laptop where he brought up a page of notes from that days meeting.
“australia,” you read.
he nodded, “australia. we’re going to australia. we’re gonna tour, but my family have said that you can stay with them.”
fresh tears poured from your eyes as you wrapped your arms around chan, burying your face in his neck, “thank you.”
“why are you thanking me?” he chuckled, the slight laugh turning into a sigh, “here, come on, stop crying.”
he lifted your head out, wiping your tears away with his thumb, “i love you.”
you smiled, “i love you too.”
“well, that’s good,” he laughed as you hugged him again.
Tuesday 19th February, 2019
“wow that’s a lot of food,” you laughed, watching as jessica and jack brought in bags and bags of food from their shopping trip.
“nine teenage boys is a lot to feed,” jessica shrugged.
“and us! we need feeding as well!” lucas exclaimed.
“yes, yes, but your going to your friend’s tonight,” jessica nodded, “this is for chris’s band.”
“why don’t you just stay here? then you can eat barbecue and spend more time with chan,” you said, unpacking the bags.
“and be seen on camera? no thanks,” hannah said as you laughed, “that’s chris’s job, not mine.”
“and hannah’s going to her friends so i’m going to mine,” lucas said, sat on the floor with berry.
you nodded, “fair enough.”
“do you have any siblings, y/n?” jack asked.
“mmm, but i never see them,” you sighed.
“ha, snap,” lucas said as jessica flicked his head, making you all laugh.
the weigt on your heart hurt, almost snapping. how could everything surrounding chan be the best aspects of your life, and all you could give him was nothing but negativity?
Monday 1st April, 2019
“finally,” you chuckled as chan walked into your shared bedroom, pulling his shirt off and climbing into bed, wriggling around until he was comfortable.
“what?” chan asked, his eyes already closed.
“i thought you were never coming to bed,” you hummed, playing with his blonde hair as his head stayed buried in your chest, “you may as well room with changbin now.”
chan sighed, pulling his head away and looking up at you, “why would i do that when we could just live in our house?”
you laughed, “dream on, bang, i’ve still got debt to pay off.”
chan smiled, tucking some of your hair behind your ear, “i’ve bought us a house, y/n. now go to sleep so you wake up in the morning, think this was a dream and i can surprise you with it.”
“what?” you asked, “christopher bang, do not fall asleep on me.”
chan smiled, “you sound like my mum.”
“i’m serious!” you exclaimed, before realising about the others living in your cramped apartment and lowering your volume, “chan. explain.”
“i’ve bought us a house,” chan said, “so that we can do the marriage and baby thing that all your friends are doing. i love you y/n. now go to sleep.”
your eyes filled with tears as you looked at how sincere your boyfriend looked.
“your serious aren’t you?”
“deadly,” he hummed, before closing his eyes, “sleep.”
you smiled, moving closer to him and pressing a kiss to his bare chest before closing your eyes and slowly drifting away into sleep.
Tuesday 2nd April, 2019
“felix, has chan said anything about a house? or have you managed to see anything about a house?” you asked, having managed to sneak out of your bedroom and into the kitchen without waking up your boyfriend.
“hmm? for us?”
“no, no. for– for us, me and chan,” you explained.
“oh, no,” felix shrugged, “why? did he tell you yesterday?”
“yeah, just before bed,” you said, “do you think—“
“it was an april fools joke? yes, it was april fools.”
“it was april fools?!” you exclaimed, “oh jesus christ, i am so stupid! felix, why am i like this?!”
“good morning angel,” chan smiled, kissing your head and taking your hand, “let’s go.”
“where? chan we’re both in pyjamas,” you said, furrowing your eyebrows.
chan took his car keys from off the side and slid his feet into some shoes, “come on. i’m waiting.”
felix looked at his elder friend in confusion before turning to face you, “you know, i don’t think that was an april fools joke.”
Monday 1st July, 2019
“god these promotions felt so long. i don’t even know why,” chan groaned, circling his head as you rubbed his bare shoulders.
“hmm, maybe it’s cause you know you get to come home to a nice house, and not a cramped dorm with eight other men,” you laughed.
he nodded, “you’re right. and this tour is bitter sweet. i mean i’m so excited but at the same time, it’s so long to be without you.”
“i’ll be alright chan, i swear. it’s not even that long!” you smiled, “just promise to buy me a souvenir.”
“i’ll buy you one in every country i go,” chan said, kissing your hand gently.
you sighed, kissing his shoulder, “i’ll miss you, prince.”
“i’ll miss you more, angel,” he chuckled, turning round and bringing you onto his lap, “we should make the most of this time, though.”
you giggled, “hmm, should we?”
chan smiled as you began kissing him, moaning slightly.
“i love you,” he whispered.
you smiled slightly, leaning your forehead against his, “i love you too.”
Saturday 27th July, 2019
“mum, i have something to tell you,” you said, kicking at the stones under your feet, “it’s why i called you here.”
“well what is it?” she asked, her voice gentle, “are you alright?”
“i’m pregnant.”
your teeth couldn’t help but bite your bottom lip gently, a small smile trying hard not to break out on your face. this was the first person you’d told, and just saying the words out loud made butterflies fly in your stomach.
she was still, silent. she stopped walking and turned to face you, taking your hands
“i- i see,” she stuttered, “y/n you know we’re always happy to have you back home with us—“
“no,” you said, moving away from her, your face dropping to a frown. god, you should have known, “no! no! mum, you’ve got this all wrong! this is a good thing for me and chan and- and i thought you’d be happy too!”
“well, sweetie, chan’s not the best for—“
“no! mum don’t even finish that sentence!” you exclaimed, your mum looking round consciously at the people staring, “he’s the best thing in my life, mum, and i– i don’t know why people can’t see that! i don’t get it! what’s so wrong about him? he’s taken care of me, he’s taken me in, he’s bought me a house? he’s given me his child? he’s the best person i’ve ever known, mum! and i just– i love him so much.”
she sighed, shaking her head, “i’m sorry darling, but i just don’t.”
Sunday 28th July, 2019
“jessica!” you smiled, wiping your laptop camera, “can you see me?”
“ah, i can!” she smiled, “so what is it? i’m alone, by the way, no pesky kids or husband in the room.”
you laughed, “is there a pesky dog?”
she looked around, “oh, yeah, berry! say hi to y/n!”
berry came on camera and you smiled, admiring the beautiful dog.
“ah, no, no, okay, tell me, what is it?” jessica said, placing berry on her lap.
“okay, well...” you stopped, taking a deep breath.
what if this ended like your mum? what if chan reacted like your mum as well? what if you ended up totally alone? just you and this baby. oh god, you couldn’t do this alone!
“hey, hey, you okay?” jessica asked, “you look panicked.”
you looked to jessica’s kind eyes and you paused. how could you ever think she’d be like your mum?
“i’m pregnant,” you said quickly, “but this is top secret! you can’t tell chan!”
jessica’s jaw dropped as she started squealing, “y/n! oh y/n, my girl! my daughter! oh, i couldn’t be happier!”
you laughed, wiping away your tears. so this is what true family felt like.
Sunday 4th August, 2019
“y/n? y/n?!”
“chan!” you exclaimed, running down the stairs and into your boyfriend’s arms.
“god how can i miss you so much in eight days?!” he cried, spinning you round.
“it’s crazy what you do to me,” you laughed.
“you alright?” he asked, “you’re laughing weirdly.”
“chan,” you giggled, tears welling in your eyes as you thought of everything you’ve been through, “i’m pregnant.”
chan’s eyebrows raised as his face broke into a huge smile, scooping you up into a hug, “oh my god! you make me the happiest person alive! y/n, thank you! thank you! god, i love you so much.”
Wednesday October 3rd, 2012
“what’s your name?”
“chris,” the boy said suspiciously, “if you want a korean name though, it’s chan.”
“hi chan,” you smiled, “i’m y/n.”
“how old are you?” he asked, “and... who are you?”
you laughed, “i’m 14 and i’m y/n, like i said. i just, i keep seeing you around so i can’t help but think it’s fate.”
chan looked at you, his head tilted to the side, “that’s a strange reason. but it’s interesting. where have you seen me before?”
Wednesday April 1st, 2020
“ah! chan! chan!”
“huh?”
“chan! the baby’s coming!”
chan furrowed his eyebrows, looking at the date on his computer, april 1st, that wasn’t the due date.
“very funny, y/n,” he said, “happy april fools.”
2012
“just around,” you shrugged, “happy birthday by the way.”
“how did you know it’s my birthday?” chan asked, “wow it really must be fate!”
you laughed, “idiot. you’re wearing a badge.”
chan blushed, “oh.”
2020
“chan! ah!”
“stop playing, y/n,” chan called, rolling his eyes as he went back to his work.
“chan! please!” you shouted, the pain in your abdomin becoming too much to bare as you gripped on tightly to the sheets.
chan sighed, “i get it, happy april fools, y/n, i understand.”
“i’m 100% serious you absolute idiot! now come here before a smash your computer!”
oh, that didn’t sound like you.
“angel? you alright?” chan asked, running upstairs to your shared bedroom where you were sat on the bed, gripping the sheets till they were basically ripped, taking deep breaths to get through the pain.
“do i look alright?!” you exclaimed, before looking at your fiancé with teary eyes, “chan. the baby’s coming.”
2012
“well, what are you doing for your birthday?” you asked.
chan shrugged, “nothing really, i don’t really like birthdays.”
“you don’t like birthdays?!” you exclaimed.
chan shook his head, “is that so wrong?”
“think about how much pain your mum went through to bring you into this world however many years ago today!”
“15.”
“and this is how you repay her?!” you exclaimed, “come on, let’s at least go and get some food. i’ve got about ₩500. tteokbokki?”
2020
“god, chan, this is terrible,” you sighed, “i’m in constant fear.”
chan chuckled, “it’s okay, it’s gonna be over soon.”
“soon,” you scoffed, “bets on this lasting for more than a day.”
“really? you think so?” chan asked.
“chan, this is your child,” you sighed, “it’s probably already inherited a stubborn gene.”
chan rolled his eyes, “i can’t believe you.”
“can we at least eat before getting checked in?”
chan sighed, looking at you in disbelief.
“what?” you asked, “chan, i’m nine months pregnant, i’m hungry.”
“what do you want to eat?”
you hummed before seeing a small shop on the side of the road, “tteokbokki!”
2012
“wah, this is some of the best tteokbokki i’ve ever had!” you exclaimed.
“really?” chan smiled, “oh, your face.”
“huh?”
“you’ve got sauce all over you,” chan laughed, handing you a tissue, “here.”
2020
“ah sh—“
“what?”
“i got sauce on my t-shirt,” you laughed, looking at your stained t-shirt, stretched over your nine-month baby bump.
chan laughed, taking a tissue and wiping it slightly, handing it over to you to do the rest.
2012
“we should go,” chan said, “i’ve got to get to jyp.”
“jyp? why?” you asked.
“i’m a trainee,” he smiled.
your eyes widened, “really?! wow you must be so talented!”
chan blushed, “well– i don’t—“
2020
you held your breath, pain spreading all over your body once again.
“breath, baby,” chan sighed, “want to hold my hand?”
you started taking deep breaths, gripping onto chan’s hand.
“we should go,” he said, “ready?”
you shook your head, “chan, i don’t– i don’t think i can do this.”
chan sighed, “y/n. look how far we’ve come together. i promise you, you can do this.”
2012
“i mean you had to get in to jyp first of all, and your still there now,” you said, “big respect.”
chan smiled, “thanks, but i really don’t think i’m great.”
“stop that!”
“i’m serious!” he laughed, but the laugh wasn’t humorous, “my friends are about to debut and i just... don’t get to debut with them. that must mean something.”
“that means you’re not ready yet,” you shrugged, “that doesn’t mean you’re not good, that just means that there are better people on their way. it’s fate, chan.”
Thursday 2nd April, 2020
“congratulations! it’s a little boy!” the doctor exclaimed, another nurse coming and taking the baby from his arms, going and taking him to be washed.
“y/n, you did it! god, you did it! i’m so proud of you,” chan smiled, kissing your head, “we have our baby!”
your eyes filled with tears as they brought him back over, a little bit of paper attatched to his ankle with the date, his length and his weight.
“would you like to hold him?” the nurse asked, holding the baby out to you.
you nodded, taking the small baby into your arms and holding him close. he immediately wriggled, becoming comfortable with his whole body buried against yours.
your smile was undeniable. this, out of all the moments of your entire life, was by far the happiest. and you had chan by your side as well.
chan kissed your head, “you’ve worked hard, y/n. i love you.”
Sunday 25th March, 2018
“y/n!” chan exclaimed, running off stage and running into your arms.
“you did it! you debuted!” you laughed, holding your boyfriend tightly, “god you’ve debuted, i’m so proud of you.”
chan smiled, the tears in his eyes undeniable.
every moment for the past seven years lead up to this, and you were by his side for so long, he couldn’t have been more thankful.
“you’ve worked hard, chan,” you smiled, kissing his head, “i love you.”

Hello! I'm new to your blog and I'd like to ask for a transfer student (gn if its easier on you) from Texas to UA. Like class 1A is told that they're having a new student from Texas and they think to throw a wild west welcome party. Reader doesn't have the heart to tell everyone they're from the city so they just go along with it and maybe them and bakugou end up alone after the party and get to know each other some? Thank you!!!
(a/n):hello anon! thank you so much for the request!! this is really interesting and i hope i did my best!!🥰
p.s- so i read this over and over again and what i understand from here is that reader comes from the city; not from the wild west. i hope i got that right! :’’)

Tumblr media
“did you hear?! we’re getting a new student!!”
“a new student? cool! i can’t wait to meet them!”
“do you think they would give me their number? now i’m worried...”
“oh my god. shut up you idiots,” bakugou told his friends, having the last few bites of his dinner in the dorms.
“what’s your take on the new kid, man? pretty sure you have something to say,” his red friend said, ignoring the cue for them to quiet down.
“huh? i don’t know. heard they were from... Texas or something. damn deku was talkin’ about it,” he said.
he watched as his friends jump up and down, discussing on even bigger plans. he did hear a few - mainly a welcome party, showing them around school, so many things that he knew he could show interest in. knowing him, he was about to play the “chill guy who’s pretty nonchalant about the new kid thing.”
i mean, they’d probably be an okay person. he thought while zoning out.
“hey, bakugou! we need you for this!”
^^^
“settle down, 1A!” iida said for what seemed like the umpteenth time today, as everyone scurried to their seats. the discussion of the wild west themed party was still going on,and it’s halfway done.
in came aizawa-sensei with his sleeping bag. “now. i’ll make this quick. all of you have heard it - we do have a new student. come in, y/l/n,” he waved his hand to someone outside the door, as the class turned to the door, waiting for someone to enter.
as y/n entered, they received various ‘oohs’ from half of the class.
bakugou turned to look at the whole scene unfolding, and when he did, he didn’t regret it.
usually, when it’s someone new, he tends to look away from it as soon as possible. it didn’t seem to buy his time. but right now, it was the total opposite.
his palm which stayed on the jaw now went out of it’s place.
something about y/n pulled him into curiosity. they’re from a different country. they have decided to travel all the way from Texas to UA. of course there could be a reason. but to think that they transferred here - wow.
aizawa-sensei snuggled into his yellow sleeping bag, giving you the floor.
you adjusted your tie, taking in deep breaths. “hello! my name is (y/n) (y/l/n)! i’m so glad to be here! i hope to know much more of your school and also to be friends with everyone here!”
while talking, you took a good look around the classroom.
there was a green-haired boy, eyes gleaming with excitement. a red-haired boy with cute pointy teeth. a girl with pink rosy cheeks. a girl who has earphone jacks on her ears. a dual-color eyed boy.
a spiky blonde haired boy, with ruby red eyes, looking directly at you. something about it was very peculiar.
a few questions in and you noticed your homeroom teacher crawling out of his sleeping bag. “you done? alright. head over to your seat there. the next teacher should be here pretty soon. 1A, you know what to do,” he said, walking out of the door.
you made your way to your assigned seat, and sat down. moments later, a few of your new classmates turned to look at you, introducing themselves. you laughed. it was definitely a new kind of feeling.
especially when you felt the same bright red eyes looking at you.
“um, what’s that boy’s name over there with the blonde hair?”
^^^
“hey.” you heard him say as he approached your desk after a whole day of stealing glances. you weren’t weirded out by that either - considering the fact that you were curious about him too.
everyone talked to you during the school hours, except for him.
it was only the both of you left in the class. the class rep, iida, handed over the key to him. they left, saying sorry a number of times because they had lots of work to complete back in the dorms.
you did need assistance back to the place too. you weren’t used to the school just yet, so having one person as a company would definitely help.
“oh, hello! um, i’m still new to all this, but how do i address you?”
“king explosion murder.”
“woah! really?” you chuckled.
“no,” he snorted at first, but then looked away immediately. “bakugou. look,i’m gonna get straight to the point. i got a pretty tight schedule, ya know? now, put these on.”
“blindfolds? oh, they have cute little eyes on them! are they yours?”
“hah? no way. it’s dunce fa- kaminari’s.”
“okay... wait, but why do i need to put these on?”
“just put them on and....and trust me. hurry up.”
you obliged, sliding them onto your eyes. he then held your arm, indirectly telling you to start walking.
so you did. he was a great company, even though you didn’t get to see his face. he held you back in case you looked like you were about to fall/ hit something nearby. other times, he was quiet.
and it wasn’t like it was awkward silence, either. it was a pristine one, as there were small talks in between. him trying not to snicker with how you stretch your arms out to walk, and him giving you directions.
it was nice.
he then told you to stop, and you heard a large door opening. he brought you in, and you assumed that he closed it behind the two of you.
“alright. take ‘em off,” he mumbled.
the second you did, you saw party streamers flying everywhere, with balloons hanging. you saw the entirety of 1A wearing cowboy hats or boots, and bandanas either tied on their wrists or their necks.the decorative banners had little horses on them, with mini Texas flags, and basically what you would see in the wild west. kaminari was playing the harmonica with so much of passion.
it was cute, but this was all for you?
but how were you supposed to tell them-
“welcome to UA, y/n!” they screamed, rushing over to you, with some engulfing you in warm hugs and high-fives.
“oh my lord! this is amazing, thank you so much!” you smiled widely, clapping your hands. “and the decorations! this is amazing!! i really appreciate your hard work.”
maybe now’s not the time. a cake, self-made. and the decorations. some were handmade, you could tell by the adorable drawings. the setup itself was glorious. so no, you didn’t want to shatter their efforts.
this was still amazing, regardless.
“so, are you ready to cut the cake y/n?! sato and bakugou worked on it,” mina - the pink haired girl - pointed to the both of them.
“of course! i’m pretty sure it tastes so good,” you said, walking towards the wide table with the lovable bunch.
^^^
the common room was cleaned up really quickly. not a lot of mess was made but cleanliness is priority for sure.
“so... you were zoning out quite a lot lately. what’s up with you?”
bakugou looked into your eyes. you gulped a little, setting down your drink. “nah, it’s nothing-,”
“was the cake out of taste?” he raised an eyebrow. “pretty sure i used the right ingredients. sugar boy over there knows his ways with desserts. or was it the food?”
“woah, woah, chill out bakugou! no, the cake was perfect.i loved it a lot. like,i would eat it again.”
he cleared his throat, backing away. “damn it. okay, cool. then what was up with you? no one asked you up to this point, so there.”
“um... okay. you have to promise me not to tell anyone about this then.”
“i knew it.”
“wait! it had nothing to do with the party. absolutely nothing. but keep it a secret. promise me?” you held out a pinky finger, waiting for him to do the same.
he looked at it, hesitated; but gave in anyway. “whatever. i promise. what is it?”
“how do i say it... i’m not, um, from the part of where the wild west is? more like.... i’m not exactly from this part of Texas. yes, i am familiar with this type of culture, but i wasn’t exactly raised with it.”
he blinked a few times, and nodded. “oh.”
“and it’s not like i wasn’t hating it at all! this was already one of the best moments i’ve had so far in the academy; which makes me look forward to more! it just made me sad that i did have to admit it sooner or later. on the other hand, i was so happy.”
“geez, i told them about it,” bakugou placed a hand behind his neck. “gonna have to ask this again - was this whole party thing okay?”
“yes, don’t worry about it!”
“i’m not worried! i just didn’t want to think i wasted my time prepping for this!” he said.
so he was worried.
“worried or not, this was very eventful. you’ve outdone yourself, bakugou katsuki.”
he smirked. “ha, you don’t seem bad yourself.”
“why, thank you. the same goes to you, good sir,” you bowed.
“hey. multiply that by 10.”
“no fair!”
the talk went on for quite a while. the bakusquad were bewildered by how bakugou didn’t seem to complain to you about his bedtime, but then again, they loved seeing their friend - usually really worried about his schedule - finally beating it while making friends with the texas beaut.
———————————————
(a/n): beaut ; a fine example of something. it sounded really wholesome to me, so i went with this title. i hope you liked it! <3

Before I Say Goodbye to You, One More Last Fist Bump
When Kirishima last saw Bakugo, he'd been blasting off through the air, with the intent on stopping whatever other villains had infiltrated Nabu Island. Shortly after, a giant, balloon doll-esque Midoriya towered over the forest in the west part of the island, with a child's voice begging for help.
Now both Midoriya and Bakugo were both unconscious, thoroughly thrashed, and Kirishima was helping the rest of Class 1-A do what they could to keep hope alive for the island's denizens.
Kirishima can't help but ask himself... if he'd followed Bakugo... would things have been different?

Kirishima looked towards Bakugo in awe, having just witnessed him take down the weird mummy villain basically single-handedly after freeing himself from the villain's control. "Woah!" A smile broke out on Kirishima's lips, crying out to his best friend, "Nice one, Bakugo!"
"He kept collateral damage to a minimum too!" Kaminari added, looking at how precise of an explosion Bakugo had set off.
"There you are!"
At the sound of Yaoyorozu's voice, all three young men turned and looked her way. "You guys good?" Yaoyorozu asked, looking towards Kirishima and Kaminari as she and Jirou ran up to them. Before Kirishima could say anything in response, Bakugo spoke instead, looking at the lot of them from over his shoulder, standing from several feet away.
"Yeah," The ash blond haired teen replied, rubbing the arm that had sacrificed the grenade gauntlet while fighting the mummy villain, "That was too easy."
Kirishima looked to Yaoyorozu and Jirou then, breathing slightly heavy from his exertion. "Are the islanders oka--"
Before he could finish the question, the familiar sound of Bakugo's explosions rang from the other male's spot, all the grounded students watching as Bakugo's built frame sailed up through the air.
"Wait, where are you going?!" Jirou yelled, fully turning to face the direction Bakugo was flying off in.
"I'll leave the rescuing to you!" Bakugo's voice rang out, causing Kirishima to sigh and shake his head. "I'm gonna go crush the other villains."
As Bakugo blasted himself off, Kirishima began running in the direction his friend had been headed off in, stopping only when Kaminari cried out, "Dude?! Where do you think you're headed?!"
Kirishima slowed to a stop then, looking behind him expectantly at Kaminari, almost confusedly so. "What do you mean? We gotta go back up Bakugo!"
"Our focus needs to be on securing the islanders." Yaoyorozu strained, shaking her head at Kirishima's words. As she spoke, she began creating a pair of reinforced handcuffs and some strong, thick looking bindings. "Not only that, we need to restrain this villain while they're unconscious. The more of us here to watch over them, the better."
Kirishima cursed under his breath, knowing Yaoyorozu was right. Even though he wanted nothing more than to follow Bakugo into battle, he reluctantly walked back towards the others, and nodded. "Yeah, you're right, vice prez."
"You guys go take care of the villain," Jirou said, kneeling down on one knee as her earphone jacks pierced through the concrete below them. "I'll keep an ear out for any civilians that might be trapped or hiding nearby."
"Right!" Kirishima, Yaoyorozu, and Kaminari all said simultaneously, before running towards the unconscious mummy villain. Though all the while, Kirishima couldn't help the uneasy feeling settling in his gut when it came to Bakugo. As he and Kaminari securely held up the mummy villain so that Yaoyorozu could handcuff him, Kirishima looked in the direction Bakugo had headed off in, frowning uncomfortably.
So when not even ten minutes later, a giant, balloon doll-looking version of a bleeding Midoriya arose from the forest from the west, and the sound of a child's voice begging for someone to help Deku rang throughout the island, Kirishima couldn't help the dread that ran through him.
Especially when only a few seconds later, just as the giant Midoriya disappeared, the familiar sight and sound of an explosion made itself known in the exact same area.

The next time Kirishima saw Bakugo, he and Midoriya were unconscious and floating in the air, being whisked away in a hurry by Uraraka and Asui towards where the rest of their injured classmates and other civilians were being treated in one of the back rooms of the set of warehouses tucked away on the southwest side of the island. Instinctively, Kirishima moved to follow them, but stopped when he felt Jirou's hand on his shoulder, and looked back to see her shaking her head.
"I know you're worried, but for now, let those who have healing quirks take care of them." She said, tugging him gently in the opposite direction. "Yaomomo and Kaminari are already off doing what they can. We need to help them, and the other civilians, in any way we can."
Seething, Kirishima exhaled, one of his hands curling into a fist, shaking somewhat. "I know." With a last look towards Bakugo, watching as his body disappeared behind the corner at the end of the hallway, Kirishima closed his eyes, before turning with Jirou and heading towards the main center building in the set of warehouses that was currently holding the able-bodied civilians.
Iida was quick to set them to jobs: sending Jirou to aid Yaoyorozu and Kaminari in any way she could while they created materials and charged batteries respectively, and sending Kirishima to Ojiro, Aoyama, and Hagakure, having him help them serve the civilians food.
Every once in a while, Kirishima would see Mina or Sero whenever they'd come out to bring more food from the kitchen whenever they ran low serving. He learned from them about what happened with Bakugo and Midoriya, thanks to Koda and Asui working with them in the kitchen. The two of them had been present while retrieving Bakugo and Midoriya, and from what Kirishima understood, the villain they'd been fighting had multiple quirks, and they'd been trying to protect a couple of kids. Not only that, but thanks to them as well as Ojiro, he learned the extent of their injuries. Bakugo's ribs were broken, the muscles in his arms strained due to overuse of his quirk. He'd also had a head injury, and part of the side of his face had been gashed open. Midoriya too, had part of his face gashed open as well, and something had pierced at two separate points through his chest, cracking part of his sternum. (According to Ojiro, Shoji -who was apparently helping in the infirmary - said that the kids they saved claimed that the villain shot lazers from their fingers at Midoriya, which was what pierced him.) Not only that, but one of his shoulders had been dislocated, and the opposite arm had been sprained.
Additionally, according to Ojiro, both of them had shown signs of being electrocuted. According to the tailed teen, while he'd been being treated of his head wound, both Bakugo and Midoriya had been having multiple muscle spasms, and there were burns at points on their bodies where some sort of powerful energy source - presumably the electricity - had impacted them. On top of that, Ojiro had heard one of the clinicians tending to them that their hearts were beating irregularly, both having slight arrhythmias in congruence with the symptoms of electric shock.
At this, Kirishima couldn't help the worry, the upset, the irritation with himself that began to well up inside of him. If only he'd gone with Bakugo! Maybe... Maybe things would have been different!
Eventually, he made the decision to go check on them.
After handing a bowl of food to one of the civilians, Kirishima looked over to Ojiro, smiling apologetically as he gave a small laugh. "Hey Ojiro? Mind covering for me while I take a bathroom break?"
Ojiro blinked as he looked to Kirishima, nodding. "Yeah, sure. I got you covered."
"Thanks!" Kirishima gave Ojiro a toothy grin before bolting from his spot towards a nearby hallway, out the building so he could dip into another one, towards the room that'd he'd seen Asui and Uraraka hauling Bakugo and Midoriya off to. Before he could find it, however, he ran into a tired looking Uraraka, who seemed surprised to see him.
"Kirishima?"
Uraraka looked drained, and Kirishima could only assume it was because she was recovering from overuse of her own quirk. After all, she'd used her Zero Gravity on both Bakugo and Midoriya from one side of the island to another, and it was no secret that she'd get ill from overexerting her limits.
"You good?" Kirishima asked, though the second the question left his lips, he regretted it. Of course she wasn't good, none of them were.
But despite that, Uraraka exhaled, a tired smile coming to her. "I'm managing. We all are." She then tilted her head slightly, arching a brow as she looked at Kirishima. "Did you guys already finish distributing food?"
Kirishima shook his head then, looking a little sheepish. "No, we're still in the middle of doing that." He could see the question of 'Then why are you over here?' forming on her expression, so he continued. "I... mighta lied to Ojiro, and said that I needed to take a bathroom break." One of Kirishima's hands rose to the back of his head, his gaze falling to the ground. "Lying's pretty unmanly, I know, but..." He was quiet for a moment, closing his eyes for a brief second. "...I just wanted to check on Bakugo."
There was a brief silence that settled between them, before Uraraka placed a hand on one of Kirishima's upper arms. That was enough to get him to look at her. Seeing the gentle smile on her face, Kirishima blinked.
"You're a good friend, Kirishima." She said softly, her thumb brushing against his bicep. She exhaled out her nose, before continuing. "He and Deku are both still unconscious. The doctors from the island's clinic were still trying to heal them before I stepped out a moment ago." She sniffled then, her free hand going to rub at one of her eyes. "Shoji and Todoroki are in there with me, helping the doctors out where we can. I decided to head to the main warehouse to get the doctors something to eat, since everyone else is eating right now."
"Yeah, that's probably a good idea." Kirishima nodded. "Better to get it now while it's still warm." He watched her nod, but when neither of them moved from their spot to head to their desired destination, Kirishima's gaze fell to the floor again, Uraraka's hand pulling away from him. "... Is it as bad as the others have said?" He asked quietly, surprised by how shaky his voice sounded.
Again, Uraraka sniffled, her lower lip trembling slightly before she pulled herself together. "It's... not great." She folded her arms then, more hugging herself than anything. "They were both in really bad shape when Tsu, Koda, Shoji, and I got them. The forest and the ground around the area was... ravaged. There were craters all over, and it looked like a bulldozer had ran a straight line through the forest." She was trembling at this point, and Kirishima was quick to wrap her in a hug, his heart plummeting to his stomach as he heard her begin to cry.
"I keep telling myself that they'll be ok, that it could be much worse." Uraraka mumbled against Kirishima's chest. "But I still..."
"I know." Kirishima murmured, a hand rubbing Uraraka's back. "You did a great job saving them. All of you did." He tilted his head a little bit, leaning it against hers. "Without you guys, it would have been worse."
Uraraka took a shaky breath, nodding against him. "T-Thanks, Kirishima." Another sniffle escaped her, and she kept speaking. "I just...! I'm so worried for Deku. His arms are in pretty bad shape. Thankfully, they're not broken, but its still gonna be bad on his arms. That's why he switched to kicks, to help ease the strain on them."
"You know how Midoriya is." Kirishima said with a weak laugh. "He was probably doing all he could to protect those kids, even if it meant risking his arms."
Nodding, Uraraka pulled away a bit from Kirishima, using her hands to rub at her eyes. "Yeah."
Kirishima looked down at her, noting her uneased expression. "...Is something else wrong?"
There was a hesitancy in Uraraka then, and she let loose a shaky breath. "There's... There's something you should know. About Bakugo."
The way her gaze failed to meet his caused Kirishima's breath to falter, caused his blood to run cold. "... What is it?"
"They didn't tell us directly," Uraraka murmured, her gaze falling to the floor, "I overheard one of the doctors. Apparently... one of Bakugo's broken ribs is close to one of his lungs. They said that it's in danger of puncturing it." When she looked up, she saw how Kirishima's eyes had gone wide, how pale he'd become. "I haven't told Todoroki or Shoji, cuz I didn't want the doctors to know I'd overheard them. But I know how close you and Bakugo are... I couldn't not tell you."
Now it was Kirishima's turn for his breath to be shaky. Regardless, he nodded, pulling Uraraka back into another hug, though more for his own comfort than hers. "...Thanks, Uraraka."
Uraraka didn't pull away from the hug, instead wrapping her arms around Kirishima in return. "Yeah, no problem."
The two of them allowed a few seconds of silent reassurance to pass, before they both pulled away from the hug, Uraraka rubbing at her face with a hand once more. "I should start heading towards the kitchen." She watched Kirishima nod in agreement, before placing a hand on one of his shoulders. "Don't worry, if I see Ojiro, I'll tell him I saw you help a kid near the bathroom, to try and get you a little more time."
A soft chuckle left Kirishima then, and he nodded. "I appreciate it."
She gave Kirishima's shoulder a reassuring squeeze, before pulling her hand away, the two of them headed for their preferred destinations.
Kirishima was soon greeted by a sliding paper door, taking a moment to settle his nerves before opening it, stepping through into the tatami matted floor. He was met with the sight of several people in various states of injury, some sitting up, some laying on the floor. As Kirishima's eyes scanned the room, his gaze settled on the sight of Midoriya and Bakugo in the far left corner of the room, each of them being cared to by a different healer.
"Kirishima."
At the sound of his name, Kirishima tore his gaze away from Bakugo and Midoriya, instead looking left towards the owner of the voice, sitting close to the door, making ice in a bucket pan and distributing it into packs. "Todoroki."
"What are you doing here?" Todoroki asked, looking at Kirishima, not ceasing his movements in any way. Kirishima couldn't help but mentally compare his movements to one of those factory line robots that work by conveyor belts and stuff like that.
"I came to see how Bakugo and Midoriya were doing." He answered honestly, his gaze trailing back towards said teens. "I talked to Uraraka in the hall, she said they were still out of it."
"They are," Came Shoji's voice, the multi-limbed male sitting against the right side wall of the room, placing an ice pack on the head of a sleeping civilian, "the doctors are doing what they can to help them."
"Yeah, she told me." Kirishima replied, not taking his gaze off of Bakugo. After a brief second, he nodded in Bakugo's direction. "...Can I...?"
"That's fine." Todoroki said, looking back to the ice he was packing away. "Just be sure not to disrupt the doctors."
Kirishima nodded. "Wouldn't dream of it." He then carefully stepped through the open path to the back of the room, being mindful of other patients who were being treated there. Upon reaching where Bakugo and Midoriya were, Kirishima moved to sit on his knees, knelt at the foot of where Bakugo was laid. Kirishima's hands grasped at the fabric of his hero costume on his knees, watching as Bakugo took slow, shallow breaths. 'A broken rib is close to puncturing one of his lungs.' came the mental voice in his head, echoing what Uraraka had told him out in the hall. Kirishima's gaze lowered to Bakugo's gauze wrapped stomach, where the hands of the doctor who was treating him hovered, a yellow light coming from them. "How's he doin', doc?" He asked softly, not wanting to distract the doctor from his work too much.
The older man turned his head to look at Kirishima then, before looking back down at Bakugo. "I've nearly finished closing this boy's wounds." He said simply, the other doctor treating Midoriya nodding in agreement as she too was glowing from her hands, hovering above Midoriya's chest.
"I've done about all I can for this boy as well." She said, a sigh leaving her. "I've relocated his shoulder, and just about closed the wounds on his chest." A small frown formed on her lips then. "But they'll both need to get to the main land as soon as possible."
"Because of the electrocution?" Kirishima asked, looking towards her then.
She seemed to be surprised by his words, though the look on her face melted into one of tired amusement. "Word about your classmates sure spreads around fast, huh?" Kirishima blinked at that, before recoiling slightly. Was he not supposed to have said anything about that too? He knew to keep his mouth shut for now about Bakugo's ribs, but-- "Well, I suppose that's only natural." The doctor treating Midoriya spoke again, pulling Kirishima from his thoughts. "You might be heroes, but you're still youngins. Word of mouth travels fast between young friends."
"We've done what we could for their muscle spasms," The treating Bakugo said, his voice low, "easing the tension in them as much as we could manage. Especially for this boy, seeing as his arms were so tense after over-using his quirk. And their arrhythmias seemed to have lulled back into a more stable cardiac output." There was a moment of silence from the doctor then, and without looking behind him, Kirishima could feel Todoroki and Shoji's gazes looking his direction, the three students more than aware of the 'but' that was dripping off the edge of the doctor's words.
"...But we can't do anything for their broken bones." The doctor treating Midoriya admitted, Kirishima's blood running cold. "Its...not a matter of over exertion on our part," she continued, her hands not leaving Midoriya's body, "Its just the limitations of our quirks. We can ease muscles, close wounds, but we can't do anything about bones."
Kirishima's grip on his knees tightened. If they couldn't do anything about broken bones, then how long would it be before something happened, too deep a breath, too hasty a movement, too sudden a shift, and then Bakugo's lung would be--
Kirishima shook his head at the thought, wanting to banish it from his mind. Bakugo... Bakugo would be fine, right? What would he say, if he were conscious right now?
Do you really think I'm gonna let something as stupid as a broken rib take me down?!
Yeah, that sounded about right.
I'm gonna become the Number One Hero, Shitty Hair! Do you really think I'm so weak as to let a damn rib be my end?
No, mental Bakugo, of course not.
Then stop mopin' like a brat and get back to helping those damn extras with the islanders!
"Kirishima?"
At the sound of Todoroki's voice, Kirishima opened his eyes (he didn't even realize he'd closed them), letting lose a shaky breath. His gaze glazed over somewhat, his eyes growing warm with unshed tears. Raising a hand, Kirishima wiped at his eyes, and steadied his breathing, before answering his classmate. "Yeah?"
"Do you need to be seen by the doctors too? You're trembling." Kirishima chuckled softly at his concern, unable to get a word in as Todoroki continued speaking. "I heard from one of the others that you'd helped Bakugo bring in the villain we have under watch. Did you over-exert yourself? Don't push yourself if you need to rest."
"Nah, I'm good, Todoroki." Kirishima said, standing up from his spot. Mental Bakugo was right, he needed to get back to work. Kirishima bowed then, hanging his head as he spoke to the doctors. "Thank you for letting me see my friends." He smiled somewhat as he watched them nod in response as he straightened himself back up, and proceeded to turn around, making his way back through the path of people, towards the door. Before he left, he looked to Todoroki and Shoji, giving them each a single, determined nod, before looking over his shoulder for one last look at Bakugo, then promptly leaving the room.
On his way back, he ran back into Uraraka, who was holding a tray full of onigiri for those helping in the infirmary, and he wordlessly gave her a thumbs up, getting a smile in return as they passed one another. If he'd paid closer attention, he would have seen the pair of kids sneakily following behind her, making their way towards the infirmary as well.

"You have to hand me over to the villains!"
Everyone in the room fell silent as the young boy spoke, before Uraraka's timid question of "...What?" broke the silence.
The remainder of Class 1-A had gathered in a back room after tending to all the islanders as best they could, and as they were trying to figure out the villain's motives, this kid had shown up, claiming that the villains wanted his quirk.
Kirishima seethed as the kid continued speaking. "The villain said he wouldn't kill me! A-And it's fine it I end up losing my quirk!" He could see the fear in this kid's eyes as he spoke, the tears threatening to fall. "As long as it means everyone on the island is safe!"
Again, there was silence in the room as everyone processed what to do. Kirishima looked over at Todoroki, who's bangs were covering his eyes. At Uraraka, who looked mortified. At Iida, class rep Iida, who looked shocked, yet regretful. As his eyes scanned the unsure expressions of the rest of the class, Kirishima couldn't help the nausea that arose in his stomach.
No one was seriously considering handing the kid over, right?!
"No, we can't do that."
Several gasps escaped the mouths of many, including Kirishima himself, when Midoriya stepped into the room, hands curled into fists by his sides. He looked a little roughed up, but there was plenty of life in his eyes, determination in that emerald gaze as he scanned the room housing his fellow students.
Uraraka stood from her seat, relief flooding her voice. "Deku...!"
"Midoriya." Iida said, an incredulous tone to his voice. "You're ok!"
Midoriya nodded, before his determined look softened into a smile, and his gaze came to rest on the boy the villains were after. "And it's all thanks to Katsuma's power." Midoriya took a few steps forward then, before kneeling and bringing himself to Katsuma's height. "You can activate cells." Midoriya rose his hands somewhat then, looking down at them. "It speeds up cellular regeneration, and enhances physical performance." Curling his hands into fists, Midoriya looked back at Katsuma, smiling brightly. "Thanks to you and your quirk, I recovered super quickly! It's an amazing ability, Katsuma. I'm so grateful."
Kirishima could see Katsuma trembling, heard the whimper leave the boy before he spoke to Midoriya. "Y-You... really mean it?"
Midoriya nodded at Katsuma. "We're not gonna let anything scary happen to you. That's the whole reason we came to this island, right?"
The tension in the air from before lifted at Midoriya's words, Kirishima feeling a bit of a weight lift from his chest. Like hell they were gonna hand the kid over to the villains!
"Why are you losers all so on edge? All we gotta do is kill some stupid villains, right?"
Kirishima's heart skipped a beat at the familiar voice, the sound of the low, slightly raspy tones. His eyes flew towards he door, relief flooding through his system as he saw Bakugo standing there, looking slightly annoyed, his arms folded as he leaned against the door. Without thinking, Kirishima took a step forward, though he quickly stopped himself from running over and hugging the other boy out of relief and thankfulness. "Bakugo!"
Midoriya stood and turned to look behind him, facing Bakugo then. Bakugo straightened up a short moment later, no longer leaning against the door, as he stared Midoriya down. Kirishima watched as they shared a nod, and Midoriya then turned to Katsuma and his sister, smiling.
"Don't worry," Midoriya said as he looked down at them. "We'll protect you two!"
Kirishima watched with a grin as Bakugo punched into his own hand, a small explosion going off as his fist made impact with his palm. "The villains are as good as dead!" He proclaimed with a devilish grin of his own.
"We'll keep everyone else on the island safe too!"
"Obviously, we'll win."
Kirishima couldn't help the wide, toothy grin as Midoriya and Bakugo both finished speaking, knocking his fists together in excitement. The room erupted into various proclamations and words of encouragement and solidarity as each student hopped on board with their determination and resolution.
"I've got your backs!" Kirishima added in to the cacophony of students, not caring that his words were more than likely drowned out by the others. But when Bakugo's eyes met his, and the blond gave him a smirk and a nod, Kirishima knew his promise didn't fall on deaf ears.
________________________________
The plan was set.
Iida had given the order for everyone to gather what they could, assist in any way they could, while he and the mayor of Nabu Island gathered the residents in the center of the warehouses and explained Midoriya's plan to them. They were all going to make the trek to the castle ruins at the northwestern point of the island and have their final stand against the villains there, while some of them stayed behind with the islanders tucked safely away in the cave on the far side of the cliff.
As for their course of action, they were all going to separate the three villains as best they could, and deal with each of them separately. There was a villain with long hair that apparently went sharp like blades. Tokoyami and Mina were going to take care of them. There was some beast-like villain, one that Todoroki, Iida, Sato, Sero, Ojiro, and Tokoyami had been taking on earlier. The ones they had planning on dealing with him were Todoroki, Iida, Asui, and Kirishima himself. Everyone else, except for Sato, Koda, and Hagakure, were going to be dealing with the main villain, the All For One ripoff, and protecting Katsuma and Mahoro.
One by one, student after student left the room they calculated their plan in, with the exception of Bakugo, who was unwillingly looking after the pair of Mahoro and Katsuma, who were sleeping together on the couch in the room. As Kirishima made his way to leave with Mina, Sero, and Kaminari, he stopped, looking over his shoulder at Bakugo, whose eyes were closed as he was leaning against the wall next to the couch. Kirishima then turned to the others and chuckled. "I'll join you guys in a second, start heading there without me."
Sero and Kaminari shot Kirishima a concerned look, but Mina simply nodded. "Alright!" With that, she grabbed Sero and Kaminari's wrists, leading them towards wherever they were all needed. Kirishima's expression softened into a smile at the sight, before he turned back into the room. He watched as Bakugo cracked open an eye at the sound of him coming back, and gave a small grunt.
"What?"
Kirishima chuckled softly then, his gaze falling from Bakugo to the sleeping kids. "Didn't think you'd wanna look after the kids by yourself."
"I can handle a couple of sleeping brats." Bakugo retorted, though without any bark to his tone. He closed his eye and exhaled, folding his arms before speaking again. "You should go help the other extras. Raccoon Eyes will only be able to keep Flat Face and Sparky in line for so long."
"She's more capable than you give her credit for, Bakugo." Kirishima murmured, kneeling down to the couch, pulling the blanket covering the kids down a bit, covering up one of their exposed feet. "Besides, I know you'd rather be out there than cooped up in here."
Bakugo gave a hmph at that, opening his eyes to watch Kirishima. He frowned slightly, seeing the distant look on Kirishima's face as he watched over the kids. "... Why are you really here?"
He watched as Kirishima tensed slightly then, a tired smile coming to the redhead. "It's nothing, really. I'm just..." Kirishima paused for a moment, before standing up, looking at Bakugo with a look so genuine, it took the blond off guard. "I'm just glad you're alright."
Their gazes locked for a few seconds, before Bakugo looked away with a tch!, doing everything he could to fight the feeling of heat wanting to rise to his cheeks. He heard Kirishima laugh softly, so he glared back at the redhead, noting the slight tinge of color that had risen to Kirishima's cheeks. Exhaling through his nose, Bakugo glanced over to the sleeping kids, Kirishima following suit.
"... We're gonna beat those bastards." Bakugo murmured. "We're gonna fucking win."
Kirishima nodded in agreement, before replying. "I wish I'd be there to have your back this time. I tried going earlier, after you'd taken down the mummy guy, but--"
"If you'd come with me then, you woulda gotten your ass handed to you by that asshole with the multiple quirks." Bakugo's voice came quiet, terse. His gaze returned to Kirishima, though the other teen still kept his gaze on the kids. "You wouldn't have been able to punch through his weird air shields. Your quirk woulda spared you from his lazers, maybe from the jaws of his weird ass back dragons, but not his electricity, or his ability to weaponize the air." Bakugo stood up off the wall then, letting his arms fall to his sides. "Plus, you're a close combat type. He coulda stolen your quirk, and if that asshole figured out how to go Unbreakable, on top of all the shit he can currently do?" Bakugo scoffed. "We'd be in deep shit."
Kirishima's hands curled into fists, shaking slightly at his sides. He couldn't argue with that. "I guess that's why they got me fighting the beast dude." He chuckled, looking at Bakugo then. "I heard from Todoroki and Iida what to expect, but I'd be lying if I said I'm not nervous."
A growl ripped from Bakugo's throat then, and he stepped towards Kirishima, a fire in his eyes as he pressed a finger to the redhead's chest. "Don't start with that bullshit. You're gonna kick that guy's ass."
Kirishima blinked, before laughter slowly bubbled up from his chest, and he placed a hand on Bakugo's shoulder. "Thanks, dude."
"Don't thank me for telling you something you should already know." Bakugo pulled his finger back, but didn't pull away from Kirishima's grip, glaring into the other male's eyes. Kirishima's laughter died down, and after a moment, he moved, pulling Bakugo into a loose hug. The blond tensed, but didn't pull away. "What the hell do you think you're doing?"
"Give him hell, got it?" Kirishima murmured softly, the warmth of his breath tickling Bakugo's ear. There was so much more he wanted to say; Look after yourself. Stay safe. Don't scare me like that again. But he knew better, knew that Bakugo would see that as him pitying him, looking down on him, and Kirishima wanted to do anything but that.
When he felt Bakugo's arms wrap around him in return, Kirishima was sure his heart had stopped.
"Of course I will, dumbass. Who the hell do you think I am?" Bakugo's voice came more amused sounding than anything, and even though Bakugo couldn't see it, it was enough to bring a smile to Kirishima's face. He felt Kirishima press his forehead down against the top of one of his shoulders, felt Kirishima's grip around him tighten slightly. "After we kill these villains, I'm gonna get you back for being on Sparky's side the other night, makin' me do the damn night watch patrol."
He felt Kirishima's laugh before he heard it. "I'm looking forward to it."
A comfortable quiet settled among them, Bakugo slowly moving to rest his head against Kirishima's. "You should head out. Four-Eyes will come looking for you if he sees you're not where you're supposed to be." Despite his words, his arms didn't release their hold on Kirishima, he didn't step away from the other.
But when he felt Kirishima sigh, he knew to expect the feeling of the other male to be the one to pull away. "Yeah, you're right." Kirishima said as he reluctantly pulled away.
The two looked at each other, neither doing anything to try and hide the flush that had risen to their cheeks.
Though Bakugo watched as Kirishima raised a fist in his direction, the redhead giving him a sharp, toothy grin. "See you on the other side, dude."
Bakugo couldn't help the wide grin that tugged on his own lips, raising a hand and bumping his fist against Kirishima's. "Naturally."
With dual looks of satisfaction, both boys shared a nod, and Kirishima turned, heading towards the door, giving Bakugo one last wave before he headed out. After he was gone, Bakugo raised a hand to the shoulder Kirishima had rested his head on, faintly rubbing the spot with his palm. A small smile tugged at the corner of his lips then, and Bakugo gave a small snort.
Those villains wouldn't know what fucking hit them.

Prompt: Kamijiro, either in your Beep Beep Beep universe or just post-canon, after watching a gig, Kaminari musters up the guts to buy Jiro a drink and ask if she wants to stick around to chat after the show, your choice if she accepts or refuses.
Post ‘Beep Beep Beep’.... (Link in the notes) (It’s a no-quirk AU)
----------------------
Denki settled himself in the seat beside Izuku’s, careful not to spill his beer with the movement. He took a long gulp and sighed blissfully. “Beer, friends, and good music, I think this may just be the best weekend off ever, man.”
Izuku raised his own beer bottle into the air and the two friends clinked them together loudly. “I’ll cheers to that!” He took a sip. “I’m just glad I could finally pin everyone down to a date to do this.”
Denki grinned at Izuku’s warm smile. Being able to coordinate a bunch of twenty-somethings into synching up their schedules and finding some shared free time was a virtually impossible task, but Izuku hadn’t given up until he’d managed it.
The bar was the one he’d recommended to Izuku when he’d first suggested they all go out some time as a group. He’d been going to it for years because of the live music it played at the weekends. It was big and crowded, meaning the sheer din that amount of people created sometimes made it hard to hear each other, the table was sticky when Denki placed a hand on it, and the whole place smelled of cheap alcohol and even cheaper perfumes, but it had a certain kind of buzz that he loved.
A twang of a guitar caught Denki’s attention at the stage area of the bar, where a woman with her hair in two messy blonde buns was strumming experimentally and tuning the sound she needed. Denki felt excitement spike in his chest. She was already wearing the black mask that covered the bottom half of her face while the band played, so he knew they couldn’t be that far from starting. He scanned the stage area to see if he could catch sight of the lead singer, but he could only see Himiko. The black sign strung up above her read ‘EARPHONE JACK’ in bold black letters that dripped blood beneath them. Denki looked down at his shirt, sporting the same logo, and smiled.
“Dude,” he nearly burst out, “have I already mentioned how much I love this band?”
Izuku laughed and patted him on the shoulder. “A few times, yeah.”
Denki’s leg was bouncing beneath the table in some jittery attempt at distributing his excited energy. He took another gulp of beer. “Hey, so how come Ochako didn’t come with you anyway? Isn’t she coming?”
“Yeah, she’s getting picked up by her friend Mina so the girls can come together. They shouldn’t be long.”
“Oh sweet.”
“It’ll be cool for you to meet them!” Izuku’s green eyes shone with amusement. “But they can be a… bit of a handful when they’re all together.”
Denki waved a hand and leant back in his chair. “I can handle it.”
“I could tell you a bit about each of them, if you wanted to know and prepare.”
“Nah. I don’t your creepy girl-cheat-sheet to win them all over, man.”
Izuku choked. “D-Don’t say it like that! I don’t make actual notes. I just make, you know, sort of, mental notes. So that I know what to say… around them…”
Denki wiggled his eyebrows as energetically as he could and Izuku punched him lightly in the shoulder, a blush blooming red across his face.
He’d been surprised when he’d found out that Izuku was so bad at talking to girls, because he had absolutely no problem with talking to anyone when they were a patient. But he always fell to conversational pieces around anyone of the opposite gender outside of his shift. Maybe it was the paramedic uniform. Denki himself had often felt like wearing the uniform mellowed him out, so maybe it did something similar with Izuku and his confidence.
It made him glad that Izuku had Ochako.
He’d only met Ochako a couple of times so far, but they seemed like the perfect match for each other. It made him so proud of his best friend. At least he figured that was the emotion he was feeling when he saw them together and there was a great big glowing loving feeling in his chest that made him want to grab Izuku into a hug and tell him he’s doing great and he’s so proud. He didn’t embarrass him quite like that – though he did ruffle his hair and pinch his cheek and tell him that he’s all grown up now, so maybe that was worse.
Denki snorted in amusement at his own thoughts. His leg was still bouncing. He ran a finger through the condensation on his beer bottle. “Hope they get here before the band start playing,” he said.
“They won’t start without the other girls being here.” Izuku gave a fond little laugh and his eyes narrowed with the affectionate smile that pushed his cheeks high. “Ochako’s probably running late again.”
The band would delay starting just because Ochako and her friends weren’t here? “Uh, wait, why would they-” Denki trailed off as he noticed someone approaching the table. He gasped sharply. No way no way no way. “Izuku,” Denki hissed loudly, grabbing his friend’s arm and shaking it, “Izuku, I think the lead singer of Earphone Jack is coming to our table.”
Izuku’s sudden grin split his face in amusement – all teeth and laughter – and Denki didn’t know what was going on.
“Hi Kyouka,” Izuku said, as if he’d said it before and why has he said it before.
The woman that stopped at their table had eyes half-lidded in something between exasperation and good humour, enhanced by the heavy eyeliner she wore around them. Two red tear drops were painted below her eyes. Her purple hair caught the light as she leaned her weight to one hip and folded her arms. Earphone Jack’s Kyouka Jirou!
“Hey Izuku. I’m guessing Ochako’s made everyone late again?” she asked with a huff.
Izuku shrugged and rubbed the back of his neck. “You know what she’s like.”
Kyouka’s lips twitched into a small smile. “Sure do.”
“Oh! Right! Sorry, this is my friend Denki Kaminari, we work together at the hos-”
“I am such a big fan!” Denki yelped. “I have your shirt!” He jumped up and pointed with both fingers at the logo on his shirt.
Kyouka’s eyes were wary as they roamed him up and down. “Uh, thanks. Always nice to meet a fan.”
Denki’s heart was beating wildly in his chest and he felt his hands nearly flap in his need to diffuse his wild energy. Instead he clicked his fingers and stuck both thumbs up instead. “We could meet again and get to know each other better after the show with a drink.”
Kyouka’s pencil-thin eyebrows cocked upwards and sank low in the same breath, making her expression shift almost comically between mildly bemused to absolutely no fucking way, and it did something magical to Denki’s pulse.
“No thanks,” she said with such deadpan inflection that it immediately jolted another bolt of excitement through his chest. She turned to Izuku. “Can you send Momo over when they all arrive, and I’ll know to start.”
“S-Sure, no problem.”
Kyouka gave one tiny, fleeting flash of a glare to Denki and made her way back to the stage.
Izuku let out a long breath. “Wow, even cooler than usual. You must just really rub her the wrong way Denki.”
“Bro. Dude. I think I’m in love.”
“What? She looked like she was one more inappropriate offer away from murdering you.”
Denki sighed and sat down heavily on his chair, taking a big swig from his beer bottle. “I know. It was beautiful.”
Izuku laughed loudly. “I knew how much you liked the band, so I kept it a secret that Kyouka’s one of Ochako’s best friends. I didn’t think you’d try and ask her out three seconds after meeting her.” He shook his head. “See, this is why you needed my notes. I could have told you that she wouldn’t like that.”
Denki was about to reply when Ochako and a few other girls approached their table with various waves. Ochako looked blushed and flustered.
“Sorry we’re late!”
“Don’t worry!” Izuku said immediately, his expression almost lighting up at her appearance. “But Kyouka just came over to ask if Momo can tell her when you all get here.”
A tall woman with shiny black hair pooling around her shoulders nodded. “I’m on it.” She headed off towards the stage with such an air of efficiency and authority that everyone in her way moved aside instantly.
Ochako let out a small giggle of amusement and turned back to them both apologetically. “I hope you weren’t waiting too long?” The girls all took their seats at the table. “This is Denki Kaminari,” she continued to her friends, gesturing at him.
Denki gave a distracted wave in reply and stuck both his thumbs up again.
There was a pause. Momo returned and took one of the empty seats.
“Hey, is, um, is Denki okay?” Ochako asked Izuku.
“I got to meet Kyouka,” Denki said brightly.
“Really? That’s-”
“I think she wanted to have me thrown out, it was great.”

World War Dodgeball
BakugouXMale!Reader Oneshot
"There is nothing normal about it."
.:+:.
"Quiet down and listen up." Mr. Aizawa muttered lowly, the usual unkempt mess of a man standing before the assembled class that had, previously- been talking amongst themselves without ever realizing their Homeroom Teacher had made a reappearance. The conversation and whatnot died in instant obedient silence, everyone snapping to attention and turning toward the Erasure Hero, who grumbled at the 6 seconds too long that it took to gain their full attention- but he let it be.
Your eyes moved passed everyone else and to the front- all of you in your gym uniforms and (of course) in one of the gyms the school owned. However this gym in particular was stacked, the floor rising up in several places and sunken in in others. There were also raised bits of wall that were freestanding, some tall and short, and beams and places for cover and higher ground... Some of the walls had weird little gates in them that were closed, and several placed along the floors too......huh...
Knowing Mr. Aizawa, he had planned something exhausting and maybe even a bit unorthodox to put the class through... Or maybe it was less him personally, than it was all of the 'exercises' were just par for the course of the Hero Academia.
"Today you will be playing Dodgeball." Mr. Aizawa said simply, the class as a whole seemed to stiffen in surprise.
"Dodgeball...?!" Several people hissed under their breaths,
"I haven't played that in a long time, ribbit." Asui murmured aloud,
"That's so normal!" Kaminari trilled almost instantly with Mina saying near the same thing. You couldn't help but agree- but the strange layout gave you pause, as it did a few of your classmates.
"There is nothing normal about it." Mr. Aizawa muttered dryly, cutting off the sudden chatter that started. "You will all be split into two teams. The objective is the same as it normally would be- hit the members of the rival team out by sending the balls toward them. Any contact with a ball sent toward you by another student, without catching it- will get you disqualified. Both teams have full range of the entire gym. There's no boundaries you need to stay in, use the space in full and to any advantage you can." Mr. Aizawa continued, "In order to disqualify someone, you must 'throw' the ball- either by actually throwing them, kicking them, whatever way you want as long as it leaves you and hits them. There is no 'tagging' someone at close range. You can use your Quirks as you see fit." The older man grumbled, "The game continues on until all members of one team are hit out- or otherwise you all become too exhausted to continue." His hand shifted from his pocket, pulling out a small remote as he clicked one of the buttons on it- and there was a mechanical buzz that echoed over the whole gym. "You will also be disqualified if you get hit by any of the automated machines hidden all around the area."
You tensed as one of the many little gates in the walls and the floors suddenly popped open behind Mr. Aizawa and a red ball shot from it and toward the whole class at breakneck speed. The people in front of you scrambled out of the ball's path, flinching backwards and parting like the Red Sea before you as you stood there, seeing the coconut-sized red bullet inching ever closer by the nanosecond.
So that's what those Gates are for
Your hand shot up from being in your pocket, a resounding SMACK echoing over the gym as the smooth plastic surface made contact with the skin of your palm with so much force a painful jolt ran through your bones. You grumbled under your breath, aware that Hagakure behind you let out a relieved sigh- probably thankful you had caught the ball instead of stepping aside like everyone else and leaving her to potentially get nailed with it instead.
"Nice catch, (Y/N)!" Mina chirped brightly, you lowered your hand and the ball with it.
"I try." You smiled coolly,
"Tch, like it was hard." Came the low grumble from Class 1-A's resident hothead, and your eye twitched slightly though you didn't deign to glance his way. Your grip around the ball tightened as you kept up a small smile, and pretended you didn't hear him say a thing.
Because lord knows, once you said something, he'd say something snarky back, and then both you and Bakugou would end up at each others throats, that's how it always ended up. And you usually couldn't give a damn if you were fighting- you fell into the conflict as quickly as Bakugou did- but right now you stopped yourself. If you two went at it right in that instant it would only piss off Mr. Aizawa... And besides-
We're about to be in the middle of a dodgeball game more aimed like a warzone. I'll just kick his ass, like I'm expected to be doing so for the assignment.
"Give him a break, man." Kirishima sighed in exasperation toward Bakugou, who scowled. "You guys are always bashing on eachother over just about everything, and then you go back to being cool with eachother out of nowhere- why fight at all?"
"Shut it Shitty-Hair, it's none of your damn business." Bakugou snapped lowly, "And all you idiots are losing your minds for nothing, I'm gonna show every one of you losers who you should be paying attention to." His palms slammed together in a flurry of booming little explosions flicking from his skin and sending up smoke.
"... So it's just you two trying to one up each other over everything, huh...?" Kirishima sighed, though Bakugou never heard him say anything.
"Rivalry among comrades." Tokoyami murmured quietly,
"I'm gonna wipe the floor with all of you. You'll be dust by the end of this." Bakugou growled, both you and him oblivious to Kirishima and Tokoyami saying anything.
"You do know we're gonna be on teams right?" Jiro sighed,
"Why the hell do I care?! If any of you get in my way I'll blow you to kingdom come!" He snapped back hotly, temper flaring in no time at all. People all around either sighed, or shook their heads at him. You just stood there with your jaw clenched, biting down on your tongue to keep yourself from saying anything.
"I've never lost a game of Dodgeball in my life. This is my playing field, the rest of you idiots don't stand a chance."
You failed to keep your mouth shut this time around, and you were saying something before you could remind yourself not to.
"Oh really?" You smirked wryly, shooting Bakugou a sideways glance and your tone nothing but taunting. " 'Your' playing field, huh? You so sure about that?" You saw the vein tick on Bakugou's forehead right on cue as you casually tossed the ball in your hand up into the air and caught it again. "Never losing a Dodgeball game in middle school doesn't mean much nowadays, and especially not here."
"Oh yeah?! You think any of you idiots is gonna be challenge for me?!" He snapped back, you smirked.
"Yeah, and you're looking at him." You replied with ease,
"The hell you are!" he roared, you chuckled and it pissed him off even further. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU LAUGHING FOR, ASSHOLE-?!"
"Enough!" Mr. Aizawa interjected coldly, scowling as his Capturing Device shot forward and latched around Bakugou and his mouth- silencing the blonde who struggled against the bonds instantly. "Save it for the exercise. Everyone come and draw a lot for which team you'll be placed on."
You shot the still gagged Bakugou a sly smirk as you stepped forward to grab a slot from the box of ribbons Mr. Aizawa had gestured to. There was a fair amount of muffled cursing around the Capturing Device that never formed full words when Bakugou caught the look you gave him- oh it was so easy to set him off.
"Heh~" you scoffed lightly, looking away from him again and hearing the muffled cursing grow louder and more angry. You ignored all of it, easily pulling a ribbon out of the box- it was blue in color, which contrasted against the other team color of red.
"We're on the same team!" Mina grinned, the girl practically bouncing up to you as you knotted the ribbon around you wrist like everyone else had.
"Hell yeah!" Kamimari smirked, "We've got in this in the bag with you on our team (Y/N)!"
"Yeah, your Quirk will be easy to use as an advantage for this game." Midoriya smiled, the green-haired boy appearing on your shoulder with Asui in tow. "Kacchan can get a lot of power and speed behind his throws, but you can do that and keep a better track of dodging incoming balls too. Plus your aim will be a lot more accurate than his, and pretty much everyone else's!"
"Oh yeah~" you smirked, casting a glance over your shoulder just in time to see Mr. Aizawa tie the last available ribbon into the blonde and bound boy's hair- it was red.
"Hehe, Bakugou isn't gonna know what hit him." You hummed, eyes gleaming as the members of your team around you smiled a bit- enthused to have you on their team, of course- their chances of winning seemed higher with you around. But some of them looked a bit exasperated anyway, because you and Bakugou were on opposite teams, and if history of habit proved constant, this Dodgeball game was about to become a battlezone between the two of you.
Team Red:
-Katsuki Bakugou
-Ejiro Kirishima
-Ochaco Ururaka
-Tenya Iida
-Toru Hagakure
-Minoru Mineta
-Kyoka Jiro
-Mezo Shoji
-Hanto Sero
-Momo Yaoyorozu
-Fumikage Tokoyami
---
Team Blue:
-(Y/N)
-Mina Ashido
"Oh man they got (Y/N) and Todoroki!" Hagakure whined,
"Yeah but we got Tokoyami." Sero told her,
"Bakugou too." Kirishima grinned,
"And we also have more people than they do." Jiro murmured, her finger twining around one of her Earphone Jacks absentmindedly. That was a common enough theme though, given the odd number of 21 students in the class.
Both teams split apart slightly, and Mr. Aizawa let Bakugou go so he could walk away and distance himself a bit.
"Come on guys, we got this!" Kaminari grinned ahead of you, shifting into a battle stance as everyone else on Team Blue did the same. You smiled, completely at ease as you kept hold of that ball that you'd caught earlier and continued to toss it up and down leisurely.
"I'm gonna destroy all of you." Bakugou growled darkly, his still furious stare landing on you.
"Take it easy on everyone will you? We're not in a full on battle-" Kirishima attempted to calm Bakugou down a bit, even though he knew well it wouldn't work.
"That's where you're wrong, Shitty-Hair." Bakugou growled, red eyes flashing as he caught yours- the air shook with the series of explosions popping off his arms and shoulders. You simply held the glare, tossing the ball in your hand up one more time, and it never came back down.
"This is war."
How very right you are
"This is an exercise in teamwork, precision- and most of all, maneuverability." Mr. Aizawa muttered dryly as he took up his post on the sidelines. "Begin." His hand moved, clicking another button on the remote as a storm of red balls fell from a container suspended overhead.
Everyone in the gym stiffened, preparing themselves to dash out and grab one as they got closer to the floor- others already jumping to grab one and get ahead of the game. Sound of a cannon firing gave indication for the dodgeball that Yaoyorozu had made even before the rest were released, and Kaminari barely missed getting hit. You watched Bakugou launch himself upward off the floor, the air shaking in his quake as he moved up among the rain of red balls, and set to work in an instant.
"DIE!"
There was a line of orange red heat and smoke that swept out overhead, the wave of pure force and explosive power ramming into the group of dodgeballs and sending them hurtling downward like bullet-rain. Team Blue stiffened, eyes wide and jaws dropping as they struggled to get out of the way. Todoroki erected a wall of ice that blocked himself from getting hit, and Midoriya only managed to avoid getting pummeled by dodging in and out of the balls at top speed, his body covered in flickering green. Asui and Ojiro were good in terms of agility, so they had little trouble getting out of the way of the attacks- no surprise there. But in the span of five seconds, Kaminari, Mina and Kouda all get hammered by a multitude of red balls and were disqualified before the game ever really started. They hit the floor from the force of being hit, groaning under the impact and the failure right out of the gate.
"Kaminari, Ashido, Kouda- Disqualified." A mechanical voice came over the speakers in the gym.
"Damn it..." Kaminari mumbled,
"That really hurt..!" Mina whined, Kouda looked on the verge of tears.
You on the other hand sighed, your other hand finally leaving your pocket as you swept them upward- palms open and fingers curling slightly as the number of balls falling fast toward you either suddenly veered around you, or halted altogether and became suspended in air. Your eyes snapped left, your hand following suit as you gestured toward Aoyoma and Sato both, your Quirk flaring and your hair shifting slightly in an invisible breeze as you saved them getting hit out by the balls they didn't manage to dodge themselves. You felt a small prickle of pain flash through your temple- you had about fifteen different dodgeballs suspended under the will of your Quirk and your mind, and light as they were, they'd been moving fast (thanks to Bakugou) and stopping them full like that wasn't as easy as you made it look.
Speaking of Quirks, yours was as simple as they came, but no less useful. 'Telekinesis'- the ability to move objects with one's mind, and for you that meant objects and people. How well you could move something, and how many depended on how heavy they were and how much momentum an object had when you grabbed it- fast moving objects were easier to alter the path of, instead of stopping it dead. And heavy objects were hard to do anything with, and get too many for your head to keep track of, the less control you had over each individual thing. And distance between you and an object, of course, that always had an affect on how well you could manipulate something.
"Thanks for the save, man." Sato called,
"Merci, monsieur~" Aoyoma called, winking at you. You nodded at both of them and shot the three who'd been disqualified an apologetic smile,
"Sorry you guys."
"It's fine..." Mina and Kaminari mumbled, Kouda simply sighed.
Your attention moved from them and toward where Bakugou was, the apology in your smile wiped away as your lips pulled in a smirk, and you swept both hands forward. Every single dodgeball you had under your control launched forward at breakneck speed- ten of them reserved for Bakugou alone while the others went for Hagakure (or at least where you guessed she was...), Mineta, Sero, Shoji and Jiro. It was little a surprise that those latter few all managed to dodge them, you weren't really focused on them to start with, and you didn't pause either.
There were red balls being thrown and shot out in every direction, the 'game' going into full swing around you and the automated gates activating as the class split apart and started moving about the whole area. People jumped in and out of cover and between thrown projectiles- scooping up abandoned balls and doing their best to hit someone on the other team out. A quick throw of a ball via Asui's tongue sent the ball slamming into Mineta's stomach hard enough to knock him over.
"Mineta- Disqualified."
You flicked your wrist and diverted the path of a ball sent out from the wall, your attention still locked on to Bakugou as he easily blew the ten dodgeballs you had launched toward him into smithereens.
"YOU REALLY THINK YOU'RE GONNA BE A CHALLENGE FOR ME?!" Bakugou roared at you, his foot slamming into a ball and launching it toward you. You spun out of the way and sent a few more out toward him, each ball arching in all different directions and coming from all sides toward him.
"Of course, I'm the King of Dodgeball!" You shot back with ease, "I'm gonna pummel you into the ground, 'Lord' Explodo-Kills!" His jaw clenched hard enough to crack teeth and a vein ticked on his forehead with a fervor. "Lords always bow to Kings!"
"IT'S KING EXPLODO-KILLS YOU ASSHOLE!"
There was something akin to a nuclear detonation that went off where Bakugou had been standing on a higher slab of floor than where you were. A massive cloud of smoke and orange rose up, dazzling you slightly- your mental hold on all of those dodgeballs you'd sent his way dissipated as they were reduced to ash.
It's just too easy to set him off
You smirked though, because as much as he could irk you- you generally enjoyed messing with him, and handling his (overzealous) anger wasn't something you were shy of. You could handle his anger issues and his potty-mouth. And the competitive side of you genuinely enjoyed the rivalry and butting heads, even if the competition was about something small. But right now the competition was real and it wasn't trivial either- you two were set up to be pitted against one another by the exercise, and you both fell into the role of rivals with ease. And in many ways, both you and Bakugou jumped in head first because you both wanted the competition. You both enjoyed it, deep down, and even if neither of you would never admit it out loud.
Bakugou didn't really seem to like other people, and you really doubted he truly liked anyone in this class (or even the school), let alone you- but despite that he did tolerate you pissing him off to some extent. You figured if he actually hated you, he'd have made it pretty clear by now and probably would have clocked you in the face with the intent of true harm... And don't misunderstand- he'd certainly punched you before, and hard- but it hadn't been outrightly malicious. You'd pissed him off, as he had you, so you two had your bout of exchanging fists, and you both stewed about it for awhile- but then the next day it was like it hadn't happened. There was no grudge, or lasting anger about it, and even if you two got into another fight, it was about something else entirely.
You let out a breath, eyes narrowing as you caught sight of the shadow that was Katsuki Bakugou coming out of the cloud and toward you, your hand waved to bring a few more dodgeballs up from behind you. He was getting close so he could throw something at you and give you less time to dodge, and less a window to Telekinetically curve the ball out of the way or simply stop it. After the amount of times you two had gone at it from the start, he had quickly figured out you lacked a bit in the close-combat category.
So you backed off again, thrusting a multitude of dodgeballs forward toward the blonde in the same instant you jumped to a lower platform and kept a good distance between you. A red blur swept passed your face by about two inches, the plastic of the ball melting from the heat in the hand that had thrown it- the ball popped as it hit the wall, and fell to the floor in a heap.
"Hagakure- Disqualified." the mechanical voice continued to announce,
You noticed Sero ducking around a corner ahead of you to avoid Asui, and with a flick of your hand, a dodgeball zoomed through air and around the corner he was behind in a 90 degree angle. There was a satisfying SMACK as the ball made contact and Sero groaned.
"Sero- Disqualified."
You heard the sound of a high-pressure blast of air that came with one of those gates hidden everywhere shooting off a dodgeball again. It was a sound that came about every thirty seconds from somewhere in the gym, giving life to the constant stream of dodgeballs flying through air in no particular direction- but frequent, fast and spread out enough anyone would get hit by one if they weren't careful.
"Jiro- Disqualified."
You couldn't see her, so you hadn't a clue how she got hit out- and it hardly mattered, Bakugou was still pursuing you even after you broke away for a few seconds to throw something at Sero.
"COME BACK HERE AND FACE ME YOU LITTLE-!" Bakugou roared, only for the last portion to get cut off by the overhead.
"Ururaka- Disqualified."
"Looks like my team is winning!" You called loudly, spinning around toward the blonde and sending off an array of dodgeballs toward him. He dodged the bulk of them and rolled, grabbing up three more balls in the small frame between being on the floor and getting to his feet again. You had to break your eyeline on him for a few seconds as you ducked under a ball coming toward you from behind,
"YOU LOSERS AIN'T WINNING A DAMN THING!"
You looked up again to find Bakugou wasn't aiming those dodgeballs he'd scooped up at you- his sights had turned back to the rest of the class and you blinked. All three dodgeballs were thrown in quick succession, and at about a hundred miles an hour toward Midoriya, Todoroki and Ojiro. You tried to mentally grab the balls before they hit their targets- but you were at too far a distance and they were going way too fast.
Damn it-
"Watch it!" You warned, but it was way too late. Midoriya got slammed in the face by the speeding projectile so hard he fell flat on his back, and Ojiro wasn't much better off as he got slammed into a wall. Todoroki tried to place an ice wall between himself and the incoming dodgeball- but wasn't quick enough to reinforce it, and the ice shattered as the ball went straight through and slammed the half-and-half boy in the gut.
-Ouch...
"Midoriya, Ojiro, Todoroki- Disqualified."
"Nice going Bakugou!" Kirishima called, wearing a toothy grin as Bakugou huffed as his only reply.
Your eyes trailed out over your surroundings- both the people and the dodgeballs littered across the floor and currently being unused- about 25 or so. You could see Asui jumping around here and there, keeping well out of the way of what was being thrown at her by the other team- mostly by Shoji and Tokoyami (or rather, Dark Shadow).
You growled a little, shooting Bakugou a look as he dodged out of the way of another machine thrown ball, for the moment still not paying attention to you.
Your fingers twitched, ignoring the small pickle of pain in both temples and behind your eyes as your reach extended out over the area in a good fifty foot radius around you. You pulled up the spare dodgeballs, fighting with gravity to lift them up and keep them in line as you simultaneously halted the few launched at you from the hidden machines close enough to be an issue.
"It's not gonna be that easy, Bakugou." You muttered under your breath, panting slightly as you brought up about 45ish different dodgeballs all at once. Relatively light as they were, that was still a lot for the range of your Quirk, and the prickle of pain in the side of your head sharpened a bit and then became something like a throb... you'd probably have a headache by the end of this.
Worth it though, if this works out-
You smirked, your eyes flashing as you lift your arms up on either side of you and the mass of spherical red all around rose in tandem. By now your actions were gaining attention, and you saw Team Red's eyes widen as their heads tilted upward.
"You're not the only one who can hit out a bunch of people all at once." You huffed, casting a sly smirk at Bakugou, who smiled wryly, tensing as his eyes glittered.
"Give it your best shot, loser." He challenged lowly, his palms sparking and smoking. Your arms swept out and down in one fluid motion, your fingers moving and twitching almost like you were playing on a keyboard. The dodgeballs rushed forward, spinning in and out of each other and making unnatural angles and paths in air as they raced out toward who was left of Team Red. Between the wave of projectiles you sent forward at impeccable speed- and the other various ones sent out by Asui, Sato, Aoyoma and the machines all- there was suddenly not near a foot of space for the other students to really move in without getting hit by something.
Momo attempted to ward off the attack with a shield, but with a flick of your wrist you sent several of the balls around and easily evading her attempts to block. They bounced roughly against her back and back to the floor in the same instant the overhead announced her disqualification. Dark Shadow was warding off your attacks efficiently as Tokoyami moved himself around- but they were both too distracted by your actions go take note of Asui. With a snap of her tongue she sent a ball hurtling at Tokoyami from above, and it made easy contact on the back of his arm.
"Tokoyami- Disqualified."
Bakugou naturally sent off an array of explosions all around him to avoid being hit by your attack, and you left him to do just that as you focused more of your attention on taking Iida out for the time being. Iida was zooming about the whole of the gym and had been evading everything with ease- mobility and speed were his two strengths, so like you- this game had played well with his skills. And you had already figured that, and knowing you couldn't possibly make the balls move any faster or even as fast as the Class President, you decided boxing him in on all sides was the best plan. The balls bore down upon Iida with a fervor, your fingers working away and mind too as you clustered them all together and surrounded the Class Pres, and then he had no way out.
"Iida- Disqualified."
Hell yeah
You rounded on Kirishima next, your hands swiping forward and coming down on him with the last of what dodgeballs you had picked up, and a few more added to the mix. They made contact with his body a bit more roughly than was needed maybe, but disqualifying a large portion of the other team was the aim.
"Kirishima- Disqualified."
"YOU THINK YOU'RE SOME BIGSHOT CAUSE YOU KNOCKED OUT ALL THOSE WEAKLINGS, HUH?!"
Bakugou gave you no time at all to move your attention back toward him before he was upon you again, and you barely managed to roll out of the way of the ball he threw at you so hard the pavement shattered under the impact and the ball popped, loudly.
"YOU DIDN'T EVEN KNOCK THEM OUT ALL ON YOUR OWN! FROG-GIRL TOOK OUT THE BIRD!"
You rolled backward over the ground, your hand grabbing hold of a spare ball and using it as a guard against the next ball he threw at you- the force of the two connecting sent you stumbling backward, but you weren't out yet.
"This is also an exercise in teamwork, remember?" You puffed, smirking despite being pushed back rather violently now. You jumped to a lower platform and picked up what dodgeballs near to you that you could. You heard the heavy sound of his feet not far behind you, so you whirled around and your hands went with you, one altering the path of a ball incoming fast, and your other hand directed several balls out toward Bakugou in all directions, attempting to catch him off guard... somewhere.
As much as you might hesitate to admit it, it had become clear that Bakugou was incredibly good at just about everything. That included fighting and dodging and school.... teamwork not so much, but that mattered little when the Team Dodgeball turned to a more one-on-one between the two of you.
"SOUNDS LIKE AN EXCUSE TO ME!"
"Oh, we are extra annoyed today huh?" You chuckled, "Is there anything I can do, my 'Lord'?" you quipped, your voice dripping with teasing and the jibe. You didn't think his face could go anymore red, and your ears rung with the sheer loudness of the explosions he set off around him in his anger with the comment.
"YOU'RE GONNA DIE!"
A waft of heat rushed upward and against your face, the dodgeballs that were still airborn got knocked backward by a wave of force and those on the floor near the raging blonde got melted. You backed off again and pushed yourself up onto a higher platform, vaulting over a low wall and then up higher still, your eyes glittering as you smiled toward the still red-faced boy behind you.
"Hehe, then who would you compete with, if I was dead?" You called easily, your fingers twitching at your sides as you pulled more ammunition toward you. Bakugou didn't garner a proper reply, he just let out an agitated yell and started throwing balls at you left and right- each one set off with a small blast formed from the palms of his hands. You could imagine the thoughts in his head as he threw each one being something like;
DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE
Any sense of the other students still in the game or their whereabouts around the gym got lost entirely as you and Bakugou went at it harder and harder. You were both dodging around and over walls and across the stacked floor, throwing dodgeballs at one another at insane speeds. Bakugou was making a complete mess of the gym- the walls, the floors, the roof even- and you probably weren't helping much either, because you were egging him on.
"Getting a little slow, Bakugou?" You called,
"SHUT UP, YOU'RE THE SLOW ONE LOSER!"
"I dunno, you haven't managed to hit me yet~"
"YOU HAVEN'T HIT ME YET EITHER YOU IDIOT!"
You grimaced, your smirk failing you as you barely managed to step out of the way of the next ball he threw at you. It passed nearly a centimeter passed your nose, and so close you smelled the burning plastic.
You were getting slower, though. You were panting and the more you used your Quirk to guard yourself and throw things, the more strained you were getting. And with it, your head was throbbing pretty badly, and you were relying less on your Quirk and more on your hands to throw things... somewhere along the line you lost track of how long the game had been going on and you were sure Bakugou had too. And even Bakugou was getting tired, you could see it in the way he was panting and the way his arms were shaking- his skin bruising slowly but surely around his hands and along his arms from extended use of his Quirk.
Another close call after what felt like years of moving and dodging, and you stumbled a bit, barely missing the next throw and grumbling as you stepped backwards and off the platform you were on without meaning to. You met thin air and lost your balance, tumbling down to the lower floor and groaning as your back slammed against the ground.
Owww...
You lost sight of Bakugou for a few seconds, coughing as the breath got driven from you with the impact, stunned. You stayed that way only for about three seconds, before you gritted your teeth and pushed yourself back on to your feet. You felt the hair on the back of your neck stand up in the same instant your heart skipped a beat, instantly aware of the shadow that cast down upon you from overhead.
C-Crap...!
"YOU'RE MINE NOW!"
You jumped backwards as hard as you could, your mind reaching out for something to throw in retaliation as you locked gazes with Bakugou in the instant he jumped from the platform you had just fallen from and into air. His arm was behind him, dodgeball in hand and it swung forward in the same second you swept your arm out toward him.
"Not a chance!" You retorted out of instinct, the sharp pain in your temple growing sharper as you willed the one ball you had grabbed hold of to travel forward at a speed you scarcely believed you could move anything.
BAM
Pain seared through your body, originating from your nose as you heard a sickening crunch and snapping sound soon after the ball Bakugou had thrown made direct contact with your face. You lost your footing and fell flat on your back, your hands moving to hold your now bloody nose and jaw clenched against the pain.
In the same instant you got hit though, the ball you threw smashed against Bakugou's jaw and sent him falling backward to hit the ground with an audible thud. The both of you lay on the floor, winded and stunned in Bakugou's case- he hadn't seen you throw anything, and you were too busy trying not to moan you didn't notice him laying there.
"Bakugou, (Y/N)- Disqualified."
Oww, owwww...! That freakin' hurt...!
You pushed yourself up slowly, sitting cross-legged and holding your nose with both hands as your shoulders hunched, eyes scrunched closed against the pain for a few seconds before you shot Bakugou a look. He was laying on his back still, staring up at the roof and quiet, and you huffed.
"Dude, I'm pretty sure ya just broke my freakin' nose." You mumbled around your hands, you saw him stiffen slightly and pick himself back up, his hands propping himself up behind him as he glanced toward you, expression neutral. Your eyes noticed the already dark, and darkening bruise stretching up along his jaw and cheek where you had hit him- but you ignored it for now.
"You could have pulled up a little, ya could have taken my head off with how hard you threw that thing."
"Tch, don't complain." He huffed, "A broken nose'll be an improvement for that ugly face of yours." You blinked, eye twitching as your teeth gritted a bit.
"Don't be an ass, you're just pissed I hit you first." You shot back lowly, his face twisted.
"Like hell you did!" He snapped,
"Oh I definitely did."
"Not a chance!!"
"Actually you two tied, ribbit."
Both you and Bakugou glanced to the side and to the new voice, seeing Asui drop down onto the floor with the two of you and the rest of the class not far behind.
"EXCUSE ME?!" Bakugou snapped hotly, Asui simply nodded.
"You two have been going at it by yourselves for awhile now, everyone else was just waiting to see who would win." She explained, "But both of the balls you threw made contact at the same time, so you got Disqualified at the same time too. It was a tie."
"THAT'S BULL-!"
"But that's how it is. Don't complain." Mr. Aizawa muttered lowly, interjecting and repeating his earlier action of gagging Bakugou with his Capturing Device- but this time binding the boy from moving for good measure too. Your teacher sighed, keeping one hand on one end of the Device and stopping at your side, exasperated as he took in the state of you, and the blood covering your hands and face. "Go to Recovery Girl and get yourself cleaned up." The Erasure Hero instructed flatly,
"Okay." You mumbled, grumbling as you removed one hand from holding your still bleeding nose and pushed yourself off the floor.
"Are you okay?" Asui asked, you smiled.
"Yeah, no worries." You assured lightly,
"Man, you and Bakugou were going at it like super hard!" Kirishima beamed,
"The whole fight was so intense! I felt like we were watching a professional event!" Kaminari grinned, the whole class looked somewhere between enthused, or exasperated.
"It was only a game you two, you didn't need to be so rough." Yaoyorozu sighed, there was some muffled yell from Bakugou but you simply shrugged again.
"Probably, but oh well." You chuckled, wincing soon after when it jostled some broken thing in your nose. "Glad you enjoyed the show, but I'm gonna go and see Recovery Girl."
"Good idea~"
"We'll see you later, (Y/N)!"
You waved a hand over your shoulder and headed out of the gym, casting a last glance over your shoulder to see Bakugou looking disgruntled as Kirihsima bent down by the blonde and told him something you didn't catch.
We tied, huh...? Guess that's better than losing...
You glanced ahead again and sighed, shaking your head at yourself and not being able to help the small smirk that passed across your lips.
... hehe... it was fun though, I haven't gone that hard in a game in a long time... totally worth a broken nose and a headache...Oooh, Lord Explodo-Kills is gonna be sore about that tie for awhile...!
.:+:.
"Alright Deary, you're all fixed up now! Do take it easy for the rest of the day, and get a good night's rest!"
"Yes ma'am, thank you."
"My pleasure."
You let out a weary sigh as you adjusted the tie to your school uniform. Tou'd changed into it after Recovery Girl had done her thing and fixed your very much broken nose. And after wiping off the muck and the blood, you'd done away with the gym clothes and cleaned up before you headed back to class, which was now. There had been some unpleasantness of popping the bone in your nose back into place before the Old Lady actually used her Quirk, and now the bone itself was fixed and the bruises faded, but there was a bandage stuck across the bridge of your nose regardless. But other than that, and the invisible, yet persistent throb of a headache, the bandage was the only outward reminder of what had gone on in the gym.
You made your way down the hallways and passed windows that were letting in orange light from the setting sun, your shadow following you on your right as you placed your hands in your pants pockets. Your head tilted back as you took in a deep breath and your eyes dropped closed, your steps slow and soft and not rushing to be anywhere. School was almost done for the day so you'd only be stopping by to check in with Mr. Aizawa before heading home.
Your shoulders sagged, weariness dragging at your heels in accordance with how much energy you spent in what absolute war made up of dodgeball that had raged, and the effects of Recovery Girl's Quirk sapping your strength. You were probably gonna black out the minute your body hit your bed... You just hoped when you woke up this headache would be gone. You maybe might have overdone it with your Quirk today... oh well.
Fresh air hit your face as you moved out of the building and headed across the empty courtyard outside and toward the building opposite. The cool breeze ran across your skin and through your hair in a perfectly pleasant sensation that counteracted the throb in the base of your skull.
"Oi, loser."
Your head dropped back down as you blinked your eyes open, jumping in surprise when something got tossed at you out of nowhere. You struggled to lift your hands out of your pockets and catch the foreign object, blinking several times in question to find what had been tossed at you was a can of soda.
What the...?
"... what's with this?" You asked slowly, your eyes moving from the drink and toward the one responsible for tossing it your way, and probably the most unlikely of persons.
"You got the Old Lady to fix your face." Bakugou mumbled lowly, ignoring your question altogether as you paused.
"Of course. You did break my nose." You muttered dryly, he clicked his tongue.
"Tch, stop complaining about it, you sound like a whiny girl." He grumbled, you let out a silent breath. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and looked away from you, the sun washing across the bruising along his jaw- courtesy of you.
Your head tilted at him, brow quirking at the sudden silence, and the very unexpected... what do you even call it, a gift? And what was with stopping you out here? Shouldn't he be in class?
"Your face wouldn't have looked much different with or without a busted up nose." Bakugou muttered lowly, his eyes dropping closed as if he was refusing to look at you. "But I guess I was wrong, it looked worse the other way. You're lucky the Old Lady fixed it, otherwise you'd be even uglier than you are just all on your own." Your jaw clenched, a vein ticking on your forehead as your grip around the can tightened.
"Tch... are you trying to start another fight?" You muttered, before you smirked, coy and mocking as your eyes flashed and you fell right back into the side of you that is always trying to egg him on and irk him (as he was surely irking you right now...). You couldn't help yourself and you didn't even pause to do it, "Cause if you are, I can give you one-"
Bakugou glanced sideways at you and what small pause worked its way into your words at the end there, and they narrowed when the sly smirk appeared on your face.
"-my Lord."
Bakugou went stiff as a board, his expression contorting and face and ears turning bright red in the span of a single second after you said that- a joke, a tease, something to piss him off- and he looked pissed, but he also looked... holy shit.
He looks flustered.
FLUSTERED
Is he blushing...?!
Your jaw snapped shut, eyes wide and rigid in your place as he rounded on you, still so very scarlet in the face and his hands balled into fists at his sides.
"ITS KING YOU GOD DAMN- Y-YOU...!" He snapped hotly, his voice breaking as he failed to come up with a proper insult, and his stammering only seemed to piss him off further. You on the other hand just stood there, blinking several times over and smiling crookedly, nearly as flustered yourself- but more stunned than anything.
"UUUUUGHH! YOU'RE SUCH AN ASS!" Bakugou snapped, "QUIT SAYIN' SUCH STUPID SHIT, TAKE THE DRINK AND SHUT UP!" You blinked, your eyes narrowing and biting the inside of your cheek when the loudness of his voice made a sharp flash of pain run through your already aching head. Your crooked smile softened a bit as you let out a small sigh, crushing the urge to laugh- lest you piss him off further and give him more reason to yell.
He's totally flustered
He jammed his fists into his pockets and turned his back on you with a huff, still fuming as you twined your fingers around the can and let out a small breath.
Did his face get all red like that earlier in the middle of dodgeball because I said 'my Lord' then too? Because I know it annoyed him... but it seems like it embarrassed him too?
You tried your best not to smile in amusement, but your lips wouldn't listen and it was painful trying to keep them from moving. Your eyes traced the line of his shoulders and his back, before dropping to the can in your hands, tapping your fingers along the edge.
"... so what is this, a peace offering?" You asked lightly, holding up the can a bit as you tilted your head toward it. You saw him stiffen, shooting a glare over his shoulder and cheeks still flushed even as he scowled at you. "Maybe your way of apologizing to me for breaking my nose, huh Bakugou?"
"I already told you to shut up!" He snapped back, you hummed and shook your head slightly. "Quit making a big deal out of it and just drink the damn soda!" He rounded on you again, pointing an accusatory finger and his anger flaring as the flush in his cheeks finally died away. "And don't go thinking you won anything today, that 'tie' was complete bull! Next time I am gonna blow you to pieces!"
So defensive... Where did all this come from, hmm, Bakugou?
"Hehe, I'd like to see you try." You quipped with ease, he let out an aggravated growl. "Shouldn't you be in class though?"
"Tch, don't be stupid- Eraser walked off to go to sleep about half an hour ago, everyone else was just sitting around in class being loud and 'talking'." He muttered sourly, you quirked a brow.
"... So you avoided talking, just to come out here and talk to me instead?" You asked coolly, you saw a vein tick on his forehead.
"Quit making it sound weird!" he shot back hotly, you winced at the sudden increase in volume again, though your smile didn't go away.
Touchy, touchy... Though maybe I am sort of surprised
"What's weird about it? I'm better company than most of them anyway." You chuckled, he frowned at the words- but didn't argue, and though you didn't react outwardly- that surprised you too. He glanced away from you again, his shoulders hunching a bit as he grumbled lowly under his breath.
"... Grr... You're at least tolerable." He muttered, your eyes widened.
Such high praise!
"Hmm, I guess you're tolerable too- even if you're so damn violent, and loud." You murmured lightly, he stiffened at the words. "And thanks for the soda. Though maybe a bit unnecessary since, even though you broke my nose, I gave you a pretty nasty bruise there huh?" You hummed, gesturing toward said bruise. "I'd say we were pretty even-"
"If you don't want the damn soda, give it back!" He muttered roughly, cutting you off slightly as you smirked.
"Didn't say I didn't want it." Was your easy reply, and his eyes narrowed at you. "And I already said thank you, didn't I? Why would I give it back now?"
"Dunno, you can be pretty dumb." Was the flat answer, and the expected sort of reply too- but it maybe lacked a little bit of the fire it needed to be a true insult, or even his regular sort of insult. In fact this whole exchange was out of the norm- if turning bright red like that had been any indicator- and even now with that gone, he was being so evasive and refusing to meet your eyes... This was a Bakugou you hadn't seen before, and you weren't sure what to make of it, or what prompted it's appearance.
And in his own way, you were entirely convinced this whole soda thing, catching you alone, and even redacting what he'd said about a broken nose boosting your appearance- was all his way of trying to apologize to you. You couldn't imagine apologizing for anything came easy to that boy, and it certainly didn't now if that was his real aim. But his attempt at it was interesting, as well as amusing. And avoiding the risk of really setting him off you decided not to press it any farther and just continue on. You had the feeling he might appreciate moving to a different topic, and for once you didn't feel like arguing.
So, just like the two of you always did, you moved on and never held a grudge even after every little fight or argument. 'forget it ever happened'
... Well, maybe I won't try to forget this part happened. But I'll still keep it between us... Probably best, if I mention it he'll get so worked up he'll give himself an aneurysm.
You smiled at the thought and Bakugou shot you a small glare when he noticed, "What the hell are you smiling at?" He asked lowly, you shook your head.
"Nothing in particular." You replied with ease,
I suppose if I'm 'tolerable' that means he likes me just a tiny bit, huh? Even with us at each other's throats all the time.... Who'd have guessed?
You certainly hadn't- even if you hid it well, this was all very unexpected- but you managed a way to roll with it, and do so with much more tact and calm than Bakugou.
"Well, if Mr. Aizawa's ditched the rest of the day, no use heading back to class." You announced, "So I'm headed home, you heading out too?" Bakugou paused, letting out a low breath as he glanced away again and shrugged- bored almost, but more calm too.
"Might as well, I ain't got no reason to stay here." He muttered,
"Hehe, then let's go, yeah?" You asked, tilting your head in the direction of the main gate and starting that way before he ever answered. He seemed to falter at the question, his eyes narrowed to slits as you kept walking and cast a smirk over your shoulder, and the fact he had yet to move. "Who's slow now, Bakugou?"
He scowled, his temper easily inflamed again as he started stomping after you. "SHUT IT LOSER!"
"Well then hurry up." You replied, he reached your shoulder in little time and kept on at a brisk pace.
"Tch... you wanna walk with me, fine. You gotta keep up though, I ain't waitin' on you." He muttered indignantly, and you smirked, casting him a sideways glance. He was more or less refusing to look at you now, and you noticed, and found it even more amusing.
I totally hit a nerve with the 'my Lord' thing.... But a different sort of nerve than usual, huh? How odd....
You glanced ahead and nodded, easily matching his pace as the two of you headed out of UA.
"Of course~"

Bedhead
"Hi, Yaomomo!" Mina greeted.
The creation hero smiled brightly as she moved to the dorm kitchen to make herself some tea.
"Good morning Mina," Momo said with a nod as she sat down on one of the stools that were placed next to the table, waiting for the water to boil, "how did you sleep last night?"
"Excellent!" The bubbly pink woman gave a thumbs up as she sipped from her own mug, instead, she had coffee, the caffeine instantly waking her up.
Momo laughed lightly. "Apparently so, you're so full of energy today."
"Of course!" Mina threw her fist into the air. "Coffee makes everything better! Also, don't you remember? Us girls are finally going out to the mall today!"
She sighed dreamily and placed her head in her hand. The smile never wavering from her face as she stared at her friend.
"Its been so long since we could actually do teenage stuff and have some girl time."
“I agree,” Momo stated as the kettle whistled, “we’ve all been so busy, it’s hard to have a day for the simple things.”
Momo finally poured the water into her mug and grabbed a tea bag and placed it into the hot liquid. The scent flowing into her nose making her sigh in content from the pleasant aroma. When she took her seat again, the rest of their class finally started appearing in the common room.
Jirou and Hagakure came in leaning against each other as they yawned in unison.
“Good morning,” they greeted with zero enthusiasm.
Bakugo grumbled as he plopped himself down on the couch, Kirishima joining him not long after as he tried to fix his spikey hair. Momo was about to say something to Jirou when the earphone jack hero suddenly burst out laughing.
“What are you laughing at?” Momo quirked an eyebrow at her friend.
“Kaminari!” She managed to get out through her laughter.
The raven-haired beauty looked over and realized what her friend found so hilarious. Kaminari literally had the cord of a hair dryer in his mouth and was blow drying his hair, the yellow strands not cooperating with his attempt to style them.
“Oh my.” Momo placed a hand over her mouth and giggled.
“What happened dude?” Jirou watched as the male waved in silence, his hair still a mess.
“Wow,” Uraraka breathed as she stepped into the kitchen, “And I thought I had terrible bedhead.”
Asui stepped in right behind her as they both giggled at Midoriya. It seemed that the electric hero was the only one who had woken up on the wrong side of the bed. Midoriya’s hair was a huge ball of messy green fluffiness and the tiredness written on his face let them know he really didn’t care at the moment.
“Boys are terrible when it comes to getting ready in the morning.” Hagakure giggled.
Momo smiled but her attention was caught by a flash of red and white and she immediately looked to see Todoroki coming into the common room, his hair a disheveled mess. The red and white strands mixed together atop his head and she couldn’t help but think that he looked adorable. His tired eyes stared at the floor as his hand ran through his hair, likely trying to fix it.
“Holy crap!” Mina yelled and stood from her seat, Hagakure following her movements. “I wish I could look that good with messy hair!”
Momo’s eyes widened and she had to wonder if Todoroki knew what he did to her in moments like these. She felt compelled to go over to him and separate the mixed strands, mostly just play with his hair.
“Momo your boyfriend is so cute!”
Mina’s words made her choke on the tea she had just sipped from her mug and she coughed, Jirou immediately moving to her friends' side to pat her back.
“He’s not my boyfriend!” The raven-haired beauty finally manages to say as she gasps.
“Oh come on Momo, we both know that’s a lie.”
“We’ve been on one date!” She covered her face. "It hardly makes us a couple!"
"Yeah, one date after you guys have been talking for the last six months," Jirou teased, "come on Momo, go fix the poor boys hair, he's hopeless without you."
She blushed at their teasing but a smile lingered on her lips.
"Alright fine." Momo sipped the rest of her tea before standing up. "I'll go help him, but Jirou dear, Kaminari needs your help!"
The earphone jack hero blushed as Momo scurried off, her friend yelling at her but she didn't catch what she said.
The creation hero approached the fire and ice user, his gaze meeting hers when she came to a stop in front of him.
"Hey." He smiled softly.
"Um, Do you need some help Todoroki?"
"Shouto."
"What?"
"We talked about this Momo, you call me Shouto and I call you Momo." He teased in a soft voice.
"Oh, sorry," She whispered and giggled as he ran his hand through his hair again.
"May I help you with your hair situation, Shouto?"
"Please do," he muttered and finally gave up running his hand through his hair.
"Come sit down on the floor by the couch."
He obliged and made himself comfortable as she sat behind him on the furniture, his back pressing into her legs.
The moment her fingers raked through his hair he was in heaven. It didn't take long before he felt the familiar tug of a comb sliding through his dual colored locks and he tilted his head back to stare up at her.
“Thank you Momo.”
Face turning pink once more she smiled. “No problem Shouto,” She giggled, “besides, you’d be hopeless without me.”
Shouto huffed out a laugh and gazed forward again, letting her continue combing his hair. Her fingers worked diligently to separate the red and white strands and parting them to their respective sides.
“I guess I would be,” he murmured tiredly, “I owe you one after this.”
“Buy me lunch and we’ll call it even.”
“Alright, it’s a date.”
Shouto smirked at her light gasp, knowing he had surprised her with his answer.
“You sneaky devil.” She tugged his hair playfully, the light pull not hurting him in the least. “At least ask me out the right way.” She laughed.
“Can’t you stupid lovebirds do this lovey-dovey crap in your rooms?” Bakugo spoke up from his position on the other couch.
“Oh shut up Bakugo!” Came Mina and Hagakure’s yell from the kitchen. “Let them have their moment!”
“Would you like to have lunch with me?” Shouto suddenly asked, purposely speaking loudly to aggravate the blond.
“Oh, that sounds lovely,” Momo replied in the most polite tone she could muster without laughing.
Shouto smiled and leaned further against her as she continued to play with his hair, there wasn’t anything he would trade this moment for. It was the most relaxed that he felt in a long time, in fact, he was so relaxed his head dropped back into her lap, his eyes closing as he started to doze off.
With a sigh, Momo set the comb aside and stroked the side of his head, her fingers brushing the scar on his face and debated whether or not to wake him from his impending slumber. Because he would get bad neck pains if he stayed in this position.
Forgetting that her classmates were surrounding them in their little common space, she leaned down and placed a light kiss on his forehead.
She may have worked up the nerve to make such a move, but her face was bright red afterward. They hadn’t even actually kissed and she was taking advantage of this situation, though she did want to feel his lips on her own, just to see if they were as soft as they looked.
“Awww!” The girls all said aloud, further making her blush while Shouto remained unphased by the sudden noise.
“Oh shut up!” She whispered sharply.
Momo looked back at the male, his face peaceful as he snoozed away. Even if she should wake him, she figured a few minutes more wouldn’t hurt.

The Chosen Ch. 3 - Atlantia
Pirate Bakugou x Mermaid Reader Fic
Ground Zero and his Crew are introduced to the underwater world of Atlantia and its rare creatures. Though they seem to be fascinated by the new land, the mer-people seem to be unsure of how they feel about the natives, especially your father. Will the princess be able to connect the two parties for the sake of the world?
Soooo it’s been quite awhile but I’ve finally caught up! It’s come to my attention that I deleted all my drafts so this will be fun trying to catch up but I’ll try my best to work it out! This chapter is kinda just a filler to give more context and info before juicy shizz happens. Thanks for being so supportive and patient with me, hope you guys enjoy!
“I know you’re fucking lying,” The ash blond captain spat as he glared down to your annoyed expression, “Kissing a mermaid to breath underwater is a damn myth from the fairytales.”
“Who cares?! I’ll kiss her for fun!” Kaminari exclaimed with a grin as he began to kneel down to you eagerly before Kirishima held his arm out to block him.
Here you were thinking these humans would be eager, grateful to be able to explore the underwater world yet the stubborn captain thought you were ‘trying to trick them’ Looking up to the fiesty boy with a sharp glare you folded your arms.
“You asked what you could do for help and I’m telling you,” You snapped, jerking your head away from his gaze and to the water, “Time is running out to stop this evil and if you’re too big of a baby to kiss a mermaid then help me back to the water now so I can fix this myself.”
The five looked down to you with stunned eyes from your sudden outburst, each looking to their captain with expectant eyes while he glared down to your form.
“Bakugou, I know this all seems weird but based off of how cautious she was with us before, I doubt she’s leading us into a death trap,” Kirishima said as he placed his hand on his captain’s shoulder, “If anything, she’s probably scared to even let us visit her home. Besides, she can’t be that eager to kiss all of us, especially sparky over here.”
Kaminari’s blank expression turned to one of disgust as he whipped his head over to them, “Heyyy, I heard that!”
Watching as the small crew began to bicker amongst themselves you let out a long groan, beginning to rethink how good of an idea this was.
Admittedly you did need help, and for some reason you just felt connected to these people. A deep feeling in your gut just told you that you could trust them, but then again you knew not to just trust anyone.
Letting out an annoyed huff you began to snap your fingers up to the five, silencing most of them as they looked back down to you, “So are you going to let me kiss you guys or can I be on my way?”
With each looking to each other once more, Kirishima finally decided to speak up as he offered out a hand.
“I’ll help you princess! Just tell me what I need to do and I’ll do it!”
Blinking for a moment at his sudden kindness, your lips slowly curved into a smile as you accepted his hand, “Thank you ah.. what is your name again?”
“Kirishima! Pink haired lass is Mina, flirty boy is Kaminari, dark haired guy is Sero, and Mr. Grumpy Pants over there is Bakugou.”
Giggling slightly at his nicknames for a few of his friends, you smiled up to them all except for the few that were now glaring at the redhead.
“Well Kirishima, you can start off by calling me (L/n),” You said with a smile before pointing over to the water, “Next I’m going to need someone to carry me to the water so it’ll be easier to get to you all.”
Immediately Kirishima and Kaminari went by your side, each taking one of your arms before lifting you up off the ground and dragging you towards the water.
“Wait wait wait, can someone grab my tail it’s very sensitive.” You said wincing slightly as the smooth scales dragged against the rugged sand.
The feeling of calloused hands lifting your backside up made a small sigh of relief escape your lips before a matching scowl came along with the help.
“So damn needy..”
Narrowing your eyes, you waited until the three of them reached the water before letting your tail slap against the ash blond’s chest causing him to growl down to you as a grin peaked across your features.
The feeling of the cool water incasing your body felt miraculous, a soft hum escaping your lips before you looked up expectantly to the five pirates.
“Alright who’s first?”
Almost before you could even finish your sentence, Kaminari had already shoved Kirishima out of the way to get close to your face with a goofy grin.
Shaking your head with a grin, you placed a soft kiss on the boy’s lips before shoving his head under the water before he tried to get any deeper with the kiss. Mina was next to bounce in front of you, a grin on her features.
“Will my hair stay dry when I come above water like yours does?” Mina asked with a grin, only for it to droop when you shook your head.
Placing a quick kiss on her lips you chuckled at her pouting features, “Mermaids only.”
Soon Sero came to receive his kiss, then Kirishima, until all that was left was the scowling captain.
“I don’t know why you seem so annoyed, you certainly didn’t have that disdainful look when you were centimeters away from my face before.”
Bakugou’s eyes widened a bit before a growl escaped his lips as he lowered in the water, “That was fucking different! I was just looking at your weird ass features!”
Rolling your eyes you placed a warm kiss on his lips, leaving him no warning as the two of you collided causing him to jump in surprise. Pulling away slightly so your faces were still close you grinned slightly, patting his cheek teasingly.
“You know you’re actually pretty cute when you look all flustered, if only your ears weren’t so hideous.”
The captain’s face began to heat up even more out of embarrassment and anger as a string of curses escaped your lips when you both headed under the water.
But his angry rant soon came to a stop when he was met with his crew swimming around in the water like a bunch of eager dolphins.
“Cap’n look! We can breath like we’re above water!” Sero yelled while tackling Kaminari, sending both of them flipping through the water.
Bakugou’s own eyes widened when he realized he too could breath underwater, instead of water seeping through his mouth it was as if he was breathing normal air.
Watching the five pirates adjust to this new world, you giggled quietly to yourself at their different reactions. While Bakugou just floated in place trying to process it all, the rest of his crew were having the time of their lives chasing each other around.
“I told you I wasn’t lying Captain Grumpy Pants,” You said with a grin before waving the rest of his crew over, “Now let’s all head to Atlantia before sundown, my father gets rather cranky if I’m late for supper.”
Bakugou scowled at the sound of Kirishima’s nickname on your lip, muttering how he should be referred to as ‘Captain Zero’ and how his crew had no respect for him.
Deciding to ignore the captain’s sputtering, you grabbed his large hand with question before dragging him to the others.
“Everyone hold on to someone’s hand, I will lead you all down so it’ll be quicker than you all trying to swim against the current.”
Though Bakugou growled as you assumed you could hold his hand, he kept his hand in your grasp while snatching Kirishima’s hand in his other until you were all linked up together. Making sure they were ready, you turned back forward and began to whip your tail leading you all down into the depths of the sea.
As the lights to your underwater kingdom began to grow closer, it was clear when the pirates behind you took notice by the ‘ooo’s and ahh’s’ they were making from behind you.
The five had never seen anything like it. Tall pillars wrapped around the outer edge of the small town that led up to a large gleaming castle. Tons of mer people and aquatic life swam below, everyone seeming strangely optimistic. The strangest part was that the kingdom looked exactly like it did in the story books.
“Princes- I..I mean (L/n), this place is amazing!” Kirishima exclaimed with a grin as his red eyes flicked across every building below them, “I’ve never seen so many people in one area, it looks like mermaid heaven!”
“Hell yeah it is..” Kaminari muttered, drooling at a few of the female mermaids swimming below them only for Mina to slap him upside the head.
Seeing all of their reactions was well worth it, a small chuckle escaping your lips before you swam forward toward the gleaming castle you called home.
“If you think this is cool, you should see the castle.” You said, waving down to a few of the mermaids as they watched the six of you swim by with aw-struck faces.
Bakugou’s red eyes observed as the mer people below them watched them swim by as if they just saw a pig fly, his glare settling on them before he looked back to the mermaid dragging them along.
“Why the fuck are they looking at us like we have two heads?”
Blinking for a moment you looked down before nodding your head in understanding, “Atlantia hasn’t had humans visit in decades, but that is about to change soon.”
The hearing of that made the five pirates feel a bit unsettled, realizing they may not be welcome to this hidden kingdom.
Swimming onward with a determined look in your eyes, you were surprised to see your friends from before all talking outside of the castle gates.
“Naomi! Alana! Jack!”
The three heads whipped back to the sound of your voice as you swam down to them with a smile. Naomi let out a loud cry as she swam over to you and englufed you in a big hug, squeezing you to death as her voice began to whimper.
“(L/n)! I thought we lost you and we would never see you again, then the kingdom would crumble.. and your father!”
Your blond haired friend placed a hand on Naomi’s shoulder to calm her down before looking to you with a concerned expression, “I think we’re all curious as to how you escaped alive.”
Laughing softly you hugged both of your friends back before swimming back and getting ready to gesture towards the five humans behind you until the sound of Jack’s battle cry filled the water, all of your heads whipping to see the crazy male pouncing on Kaminari.
“Humans! They must have brain washed (L/n) we must knock them out before they poison the rest of us!”
With wide eyes you quickly swam to your friend, tugging him off the poor blond pirate before swimming in front of the pirates defensively. Seeing as both groups were on the defensive now, you had to clear this up before it was too late.
“Hey hey hey, Jack calm down. I’m not brainwashed I promise,” You said calmly, holding your hand out to keep him back before slowly gesturing to the uneasy humans, “They all saved me from the Vanguard, I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for them.”
Both your friends and the pirates looked to each other with untrusting eyes, each of them looking each other up and down before Alana spoke up.
“And why did you bring them here?”
“They are also foes to the Vanguard,” You explained, telling your friends how they’ve been going at it with them for as long as you had, “After speaking with them, I just know they’ll be of great use to taking them down and ridding all evil from the world for good.”
Your friends all looked to each other, seeming a bit more relaxed about the humans than before until Naomi’s eyes widened.
“Wait a second, you’re not saying you are going to bring them to your father do you? He’ll kill you!”
Shrugging your shoulders you crossed your arms stubbornly and began to swim forward, “It’s easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, besides I think if I explain my plan to my father he might actually say yes!”
“And how do you think you’re gonna get these humans past Mar-”
“(L/n) (F/n)!”
Jumping slightly you narrowed your eyes to clearly see your caretaker swimming towards you with worry written all over her expression.
Ever since you were a little girl your caretaker Margot had always been watching you closely, a bit of a worry machine and making sure you stayed out of trouble. Of course you didn’t make her job easier by being quiet the adventurous type, so whenever you would disappear like this she would go ballistic.
“Speak of the devil..” You mumbled, swimming towards the large woman as she gripped you by the shoulders, her eyes checking over your face to see any damage.
“My gods (L/n) you gave me a heart attack! Your friends told me you went up to the shore and those nasty pirates were there!” Are you hurt? Where did they attack you?” The old woman cried, lifting your arms up to check for any wounds before analyzing your tail, “Do you know what would’ve happened if your father found out- good heavens!”
Your caretaker suddenly stopped her mouth dropping as she shakily pointed to the five pirates still floating behind you with confused expressions.
“P..Pirates! How on earth did those no good scallywags get down here!” Margot cried, pushing you behind her with narrowed eyes as she glared the humans up and down.
“Miss Margot relax!” You said, placing your hand on her shoulders while giving your new friends a reassuring look to calm them down, “They saved my life and offered me help, so I am going to take them to father.”
The old woman suddenly gasped, dramatically fainting backwards to which Alana caught her, “You’re taking them to King Adamaris? Dear he will fry you into a fish dinner if you do that!”
Narrowing your eyes you let out an annoyed sigh before grabbing Bakugou’s hand once more, dragging the pirates down the large halls of the castle and toward your father’s throne room, “That’s a risk I’m willing to take for the greater good of the world Margot.”
The sound of Margot calling after you and your friends trying to coax her only pushed you forward, knowing you couldn’t be stopped, not when you were so close to the solution. Swimming towards the large gold doors you stopped and spun around to the five pirates, just realizing how chaotic and confusing this all must have been.
“Wait out here while I warm my father up, when I’m ready I will call for you all.” You said with a smile, getting ready to leave before you felt a familiar calloused hand grab your shoulder.
“Are you sure we should be doing this shitty girl?” Bakugou questioned, for once his orbs holding some sort of concern as he peaked his head in the room before looking back to you, “This doesn’t sound very safe.”
Smiling softly you moved away from his grasp, giving them all a reassuring nod, “It’s just my father, he would never hurt me. Margot is just a bit over the top, allow me to speak with him before you come in alright?”
Bakugou looked your form up and down, nothing about this felt right. But then again, he was floating in an underwater castle filled with mer people with a supposed princess swimming before him. So far trust is what got him here, so he reluctantly decided that trusting in this girl would get him out.
Though he couldn’t understand what it was, he felt this strong urge to believe in her, as if fate knew they would come together one day. Whatever the feeling was it was powerful enough to turn the boy’s confusion into annoyance. He hated feeling so unsure of something, and this was no difference.
“Whatever just hurry the fuck up, the ticking clock of evil waits for no human or fish.”
Puffing your lip out you rolled your eyes before nodding to the two guards before the glimmering doors to the throne room, both large doors slowly opening to present yourself.
Without surprise, you saw your father sitting firmly at his throne. Every time you saw him there he was in the same position, his aura giving off undying power. To you you saw his power as simply admirable due to him being your father, but to anyone else his powerful energy would give off intimidating vibes.
Nodding to the kind guards beside you, you swam down the long rows of pillars before bowing before your father. You couldn’t help but giggle as the king’s skittish courtier bowed before you before swimming by your side.
“M..My Lord, I present to you your lovely daughter, Princess (L/n) (F/n).” The frail man stuttered out, expectantly waiting for the king’s reaction.
Your father looked the two of you up and down, one of his thick eyebrows raising in suspicion before he let out a deep and hearty laugh causing a warm smile to spread to your lips while a small sigh escaped the courtier’s mouth.
“Of course I know my own daughter Charles, you do truly humor me sometimes,” The King boomed with a large grin before looking down to his daughter, “What brings you here my dear? Dinner isn’t for another thirty minutes you know.”
Offering a warm smile you swam up to your father, offering a warm hug to his side before resting your head on the side of the throne,
“Oh why do you always assume I need something of you? Can a daughter not show her love and appreciation to her kind and giving father?”
The strong man looked at your through your floating locks with a suspicious glint in his eyes as if he were trying to read your expression.
“Now I know there’s something that you want my little flounder, you never suck up this hard to your old man.”
Cracking a grin you both bursted into laughter before you swam up and sat down on the thick ledge of his chair looking at him with honest eyes, “Well you see.. it’s a bit of a long story but I promise you my plan is worth it-”
Just as you were about to begin your prepped talk, the sound of a knock against the large doors caused the two of you to look up to the doors that slowly began to be pushed open before the familiar group of five humans fell/floated down to the floor.
“You fucking idiot I told you not to lean to hard on the door!”
“I just was trying to see through the cracks! The mean mermaid guards wouldn’t let us in and I’ve always wanted to see a King Mermaid!”
“Would both of you just shut up!”
The sight of the five humans had your mouth agape as you mentally and physically face palmed, your face reddening as you realized the mess you were in now. You felt your father’s hand clench beneath your hold as he swam up from his throne, his hand gripped firmly around his staff.
“What are these heathens doing in my castle? How did they get past security, who let them in?”
Your (e/c) eyes widened at the sight of his trident glowing a bright yellow, that never meant anything good. Taking action quickly, you swam before the five clumsy pirates that were struggling to get up let alone run away.
“Father wait do not strike the humans!” You shouted, floating right in front of his line of fire to defend the five humans. Your father looked at you with wide confused yet enraged eyes as you defended the pirates behind you, his expression looking for an explanation as to why you were defending them.
Looking down at your fingers you rubbed your thumbs around slowly before looking up at your father through your eyelashes bashfully, “I..I brought them here.”
Suddenly the King’s trident stop glowing yellow but that didn’t stop the rage that grew across his face, “You brought them here? (L/n) what on earth were you thinking?! Do you realize these heathens brought the death of your mother!”
“No father they didn’t kill mom, the spirits from the underworld did!” You argued, immediately regretting it as his eyes grew wider with anger.
“Who do you think inspired those wicked creatures down here? Those humans had no good in their souls so they selfishly sent them down for us to deal with, they are traitors to the kingdom and must be destroyed or banished!”
As you saw his trident begin to light up again you heard the pirates behind you mutter half in fear and anger. Looking between the two you held your hand up to both parties and let out a shout to stop them.
“Father just wait a moment let me explain!” You exclaimed with a pleading look in your eyes, “These humans saved my life, the Vanguard attacked our cove again and if it weren’t for them not only would my friends be dead but I would be to!”
The King’s grip on his trident faltered, though his face still held anger it began to share a look of surprise as he looked to the defensive humans behind you.
“For this I hold gratitude, but this still gives me no explanation as to why you brought them here, for all I know they could have tricked you to bringing them down here so they could steal our fortune or tell others how to find us.”
Though you knew your father had a good point, you knew if you convinced him calmly he may understand, “Your point is valid father, I too was a bit worried at first but just believe me! I..I just have this gut feeling that I was meant to come across them, and I know the prophecy says..”
Your father let out a low groan as he covered his eyes in his palm, “Not this damned prophecy again..”
Clenching your fists you ignored his groan and puffed your chest out confidently, “The prophecy says that when the darkness arrives the god’s will send help my way, and together we will stop the force for good! Remember father!”
“And you’re claiming that pirates are the ‘help’ the gods are sending you? Gods (L/n) how can you be so naive?”
Blinking back in offense you bit your lip and folded your arms, “I am not naive father I am right! For years you have held me back from my destiny for what? I’m not going to stand by and let the world crumble because you’re holding me back!”
This must have set off the final string of patience in the King, his broad body swimming up from his throne once again as he looked down to you with a stern look in his eye, “I have been holding you back because I refuse to lose you like I lost your mother, she too rambled on about these crazy prophecies and look where that led her!”
“But father-”
“She’s dead!” Your father screamed causing you to jump back as your entire body froze, “She’s dead now and I refuse to let the same happen to you! You always get ahead of yourself like this without thinking rationally only so you can be put in the same spot as your mother. Now for the last time I said no!”
The loud boom of your father sent a wave of energy around the room, everyone stumbling back a bit in the water but you only remained their frozen, not from fear, but from shock.
These truly were your father’s true colors, after all the two of you had been through he still didn’t trust you. Biting your lip you blinked rapidly to hold back the tears from forming in your eyes before spun around quickly, shoving past the pirates who offered to speak up as you swam out of the room.
The King let out a sigh, watching his stubborn daughter swim away. His once angry aura died down into one of sadness. He hated yelling at you like this, it only left him feeling more empty and guilty than he had before. He just.. he couldn’t lose you like he lost his one true love, no matter what the damned gods said.
Looking back over to the pirates awkwardly standing before the King he let out a sigh, flopping back into his throne as he rubbed his temples.
“Get out of my sight humans and never return to my kingdom again, next time I won’t be so gracious to let you live.”
And without a word or doubt, the pirates swam away to leave the King to wallow in his sadness.
-----
You weren’t sure how you ended up on one of the sea gardens on the edge of a cliff, you supposed this is where you always went to seek asylum to yourself.
Never would you understand why your father acted like this, surely he loved your mother right? How could he love her if he didn’t even trust her?
All your life you endured the proper training, educating, anything and everything you needed to know to be ready to fulfill your prophecy yet he held back, for what?
Gritting your teeth you ripped out more seagrass from the ground throwing it out in front of you before letting out a frustrated growl. Why was nothing fair for you?
Upon your small violent fit to the poor grass you hadn’t noticed the five pirates swimming up behind you.
The pirates weren’t sure how to quite comfort you, after all it wasn’t quite an ideal situation for them either to watch a father and daughter have such a violent fight. Out of the five, they decided to sacrifice Kirishima to comfort you, after all he was the best at it.
Swimming up slowly he awkwardly kicked at the grass before sitting beside you, “Hey (L/n), how are you holding up?”
Blinking for a moment you looked up at him, quickly wiping at your puffy face as you didn’t expect him to appear out of no where like that.
“O..Oh sorry about that, yes I am doing alright. Just.. frustrated is all.”
You turned your head back to see the rest of the pirates with pity on their faces except for the ash blond one, his face looked rather concentrated which you supposed was better than his usual scowl.
“You know it’s no big deal (L/n), I used to fight with my parents all the time!” Mina said in an attempt to cheer you up as the four swam in front of you and Kirishima.
“R..Really?”
Kaminari laughed at this and nodded his head, “Oh yeah we all did, how do you think we ended up becoming pirates? You think our parents sent us to pirate school in hopes this would be our future?”
“We chose our own future because we knew what our own happiness was.” Sero explained with a soft smile.
Looking to them with incredulous eyes you nodded, “You all are so brave and bold...”
“What we’re basically fucking saying is you should join us.” Bakugou blurted out, causing all of you to gaze over to him.
The sudden attention to him made the scowl return to his face as he rolled his eyes, “Not join us as in join the crew you dumbass, I mean let us take you to do your hero bullshit like the prophecy said so you can prove your shitty father wrong.”
Blinking you looked down to your hands in thought, disobey your father and leave? Could you do that even with your deep desire to help others? You knew how dependent he was on you, would he be able to hold up while you were gone?
“I..I don’t know guys...” You mumbled in an unsure tone before looking up to them, “As much as I know I need to do this, this place is all I’ve ever known..”
“Which is exactly why you need to go with them (L/n).”
The sound of a new voice behind you made you all jump, your eyes widening as you saw your caretaker before you along with your friends, her eyes surprisingly soft and sincere as she looked down to you.
“M..Margot? You really think I should go?” You questioned as you floated up from your spot on the ground.
Margot looked down, you could tell there were a few doubts in her mind but reluctantly she looked up to you as she grabbed your cheeks.
“Though it’s not something I wish for you to do, I know it’s what your meant to do,” She said as her thumbs rubbed across your soft skin, “I was very close with your mother, especially when she spoke about these dreams... I knew what she was saying was the truth because she had living proof from the gods, that living proof was you.
Your father was and always will be scared of you leaving because you are his lifeline to your mother, but with this in mind you must pursue your mother’s wish and the god’s plan for you young (L/n).”
With your mouth agape you couldn’t help the tears streaming down your cheeks at the remembrance of your mom.
Smiling softly, Margot pulled you into a tight hug as you nuzzled into her form, “Your mother would be so proud of you (L/n) (F/n), we knew for a long time this day would come, the day you go off to save the world just like you were born to do.”
Pulling away you wiped away at your cheeks, smiling down to her softly before looking back to your friends, “A..Are you guys sure you can handle it down here without me?”
Though your friends looked sad, they forced a happy facade for your own sake.
“Pfft, we got it all covered down here shark bait, go save the world!” Namoi said with a hug as she roughed up your hair causing you to giggle.
“But please don’t die, because we would all be really sad if you did.” Jack said cautiously causing you to blink in surprise at his bluntness.
“Buuut you won’t because you’re the most badass princess out there and we trust you,” Alana said with a grin as she shoved Jack to the side playfully, “Now go kick some bad guy butt with those pirates!”
“And don’t have too much fun with them, they look awfully fine to be dirty old pirates.” Naomi said with a wink causing you to burst into laughter as you shoved her arm.
“T..Thank you guys, I can’t begin to explain how grateful I am that you all support me.” You said with a warm smile.
Margot smiled as she brought the four of you together in her arms, “You can make it up to us by saving the world, now go follow your destiny.”
Looking down to them you nodded confidently with a proud smile before swimming over to the group of pirates waiting for you.
A chorus of goodbyes were heard from behind you as you swam away with the new group of heroes you had met, though you had never felt more scared in your life, you had never felt more confident in your life.
Everything about this felt right, and you knew it must be done.
You were the prophecy, these new faces were your new team, and together you were going to save the world.
