maybe its my own perversions but i think it's so insane how obviously different the dynamic between cage and jack vs cage and nick wayne iS..
it felt like jungle boy and cage had some weird fucked up situation where none of them really knew how to handle IT MFISOMFSOH. i still stand by my theory that jack was like in love with him while cage wanted to just turn jack into this cash cow/but also didn't mind entertaining jack's feelinGS..(he;s a bit of a social vampire like that.)
while like nick wayne really feels like a sort of 'fix it baby'..like maybe he went wrong by teaming with a grown man with daddy issues, and figured he can have a re-do with a teenager that needs real parental guidancE. nick wayne really just completely took jack's place, but mainly just physically. the relationship is so different, and you can tell christian actually is proud of wayne (and cares about him?? DOES HE THO?) .
also i like to think that the weird thing he and jack had just unlocked his father complex that he now haS JDSOIHSOFG. IDK IT"S A LITTL WEIRD AND STRANGE but that's why i lov jungle boy and christian cage's story. their relationship had such a ripple effect on each other as individuals (at least with christian. junGLE BOY IS UH, WE R WORKING ON THAT)!

thinking about tena taking the photos of her children out of the frames and burning them before she died and mulder’s first reaction being “this is all she had left of us”
and how he could’ve said “this is all she had left of her,” but he didn’t, and he’s right. it is all there was left of them. all there was left of two kids playing baseball and arguing over a board game. all there was left of him before he was walking into the same room every day, before he was chasing ghosts, before no one talked about it.
all there was left of there being nothing to chase, of being still, of being a whole person to someone, knowing where you stand in the world.
it’s all she had left of her children, together and complete for some of the last times, and it’s crime scene evidence to cover up.

I have sooo many thoughts about Rouge. Of all the main Sonic cast we know the least about her. She's a stealthy spy. She worked for the president despite being a thief and probably a double agent in that case?? She's extremely cunning. She's capable of detecting the emeralds despite not having that innate connection with them like Knuckles can.
In her theme there's a persistent sense that she doesn't like to be helped or controlled, possibly. She's searching for something she can call her own and that can only be hers. Nobody else can take it from her.
There's this sense in sa2 that she doesn't trust who she's working with, exactly. She doesn't show it by being cold like Shadow would, for instance, but she puts on this air of professionalism despite sometimes not thinking ahead (Giving herself 5 minutes to find 3 chaos emeralds despite it originally being fifteen and getting her locked in a vault as a result.) And this shows in her empathy and compassion. She doesn't show it as openly as somebody like Amy but she clearly cares and finds herself affected by the relationships she's gained since her introduction. She's probably told herself that she doesn't need anybody, that she can do everything by herself, she doesn't need to lean on anybody for help but she forms Team Dark herself.

Okay, so, for a little context, @drawthething once asked me what wedding I think Gene would have. And I decided that he would have a huge, jungle-themed wedding. And in my opinion, he might even be the only Belcher who would want to have a huge, stereotypical wedding with a gigantic reception and after-party and everything, the whole shebang.
Okay, obviously, Louise wouldn't want to have a huge, stereotypical wedding like Gene would. If she even gets married at all (I could honestly see her being one of those types who never gets married to her partner and they just date forever, and leave the government out of their relationship) she would have a very simple, lowkey wedding with just a few people in attendance. Sort of like Bob and Linda's. And I could even see Tina, the hopeless romantic, wanting something a little more lowkey for her wedding. She would definitely have one, but I could see her just having a nice, simple ceremony at a chapel or something.
But anyway, like I said, Gene would be the opposite. He would want everyone who he's even given a passing glance at his wedding. He'd want the whole world to know he's devoting his life to his special someone. And of course, Sergeant Bosco would somehow be there too and would get super drunk and try to arrest a fern. That isn't that relevant, but it would definitely happen at Gene's wedding.
Gene would be the one that Linda would sew a huge wedding dress for, and the entire family would be very excited for him, and also very emotional. All in all, it would be a beautiful wedding.
And Gloria and Al aren't invited. Also not that relevant, but it would also definitely happen in my eyes. They're not allowed.
[ID]: Digital fanart of a slightly older Gene from Bob's Burgers. He is standing with a huge smile on his face, with his hair tied into an intricate bun. His arms are crossed on his chest, with his hands resting there, and he is wearing a beautiful, ornate wedding dress with a few layers. It is a classic white color as well. He is standing in front of a complicated, jungle-themed background, with tables that have all sorts of tropical plants in the vases. Many lights are hanging from the ceiling, which is complemented by even more tropical plants coming down from the ceiling. It can be assumed that he's getting married.

There’s like, a phenomenon, where once a sadalinar post escapes containment and gets reblogged by randos who have never even heard of me and thus haven’t become desensitized to it, where people tend to treat it as like… uniquely strange and preposterous and baffling and horrid in a way that comparable ships like kalmoash and navaniel don’t seem to get. Like, people are #FuckMoash dicks on kalmoash kissing art, but they aren’t as, like, revolted I guess by the mere concept. I see people who are like “don’t kill me followers and I’m ashamed to even be saying this but I can see it!” and of course I’ve gotten cry-laughing emojis on posts of mine that are dead fucking serious. It’s so performative, in a way. It’s okay, internet stranger. We all know Sadeas is a Bad Guy, we all passed 2nd grade English class. We are just having fun on the internet and imagining him making out with his best friend. Come with me, take my hand
