Forge your own dragon world; chapter 1: Story sparks

I'm going to be filling out this book via these posts.

#1 write down at least five things you did this week;

1. Sleep 2. Eat 3. Roleplay 4. Go shopping (got book #8) 5.read wof

#2 WHAT? Pick a conflict

The main conflict is eggs going missing. Mostly nightwing and Icewing eggs theirs also dragons being kidnapped. Although this group seems to be targeting purebreds rather than hybrids.

#3 WHO? Create a character

Name: Aquarius

Age: 5

Pronouns: she/her

Tribe: seawing/nightwing

Size: sleeker than a typical bulky seawing build and smaller than typical seawings/nightwings

Scale colouring: dark rich purple with brighter purple horns and glowing scales. She has pale pink wings and webs with mix of white and black speckled scales on her wings.

Powers: #2 animus magic and mindreading and prophecies

Home: a cave system going all throughout the underneath of small island.

Family/freinds: her family consists of an adult skywing named Amber, adult seawing called Kelp, old nightwing called Jaggedspine and a sickly Icewing called Frostmind. She was raised with and helped raise five, three year old dragonites a mudwing called Hippo, nightwing called Silvernip, sandwing called Dune, skywing called Solar and an icewing called Snowberry.

Personality; loud and adventurous, Aquarius would love nothing more than to travel and see the bigger world out there.

#4 WHERE? Build a world

Continent name: pyronaite

Environments: two deserts, jungle, icey island south from the mainland, rocky mountains, a few environments

Residents: Icewings, skywings, mudwings, rainwings, sandwings, seawings, nightwings

Magic: icewings) frostbreath, frostscales *freezes everything they touch* skywings) hottest fire breath, firescales *burns everything they touch* mudwings) fireproof scales blood red eggs have lava proof scales and can handle firescales *firescales firebreath can still injure them* rainwings) invisibility and deadly teeth juice sandwings) sand proof scales and a venomous tail bard seawings) breath underwater and bioluminescent scales and nightwings) mindreading and prophecies

History; Icewings and Nightwings have a long history of mistrust and mini wars leading to a cold war/peace where the nightwings have a small town near the icewings and vice versa.

Sandwings and icewings have a long complicated history of alliances.

Skywings and icewings have a new war over an icewing princess being killed by a banished skywing

Seawings are the most antisocial tribe occasionally seen interacting with icewings and rainwings

Rainwings seem happy to keep to themselves but have trading history with sandwings, skywings and nightwings

#5 Write your own prophecy:

Find the coldest of Sky and hottest of Ice.

Find the quietest of nights, the largest of sands and thickest of mud.

Only when brought together under brightest night will the truth unfold.

#6 Escape a tricky situation

1) escaping the cave system their in with a frostscale and firescale 2 year olds.

2) escape being hunted down by their guardians and finding a safe place to hide.

3) trying to figure out the prophecy and when the next full three moons is happening

4) finding out the truth of where the eggs are going

#7 set out on a quest. What could your dragons be trying to find?

A safe place to hide from their guardians while waiting for the brightest night.

#8 storystarter: I'm going to skip this since I don't feel like writing m an actual story right now.

Raihan x Journalist! Reader PT. 4

The plane ride to Alola was not a peaceful one... your mind was mess, everything about this situation was confusing to you, Let's rewind shall we? Dragon man has secret girlfriend, you sneak around and find out! Dragon finds out you've been following him and strikes a deal, get a picture of said girlfriend and he'll give you an interview, you take deal, Dragon man starts calling and texting you...a lot.

You and and dragon man get closer... Dragon man wants to meet, You say no, Dragon man gets upset and weird about your assistant and now won't answer your calls! And to make matters worst, you're slowly figuring out that you may be starting to feel things for The Dragon man that you shouldn't be feeling, and the guilt was tearing you apart.

"/n...Miss Y/n? We've landed." Rhett's voice snapped you out of your daze. "What?" you looked at Rhett then noticed the other passengers were getting out of their seats, "Sorry...My mind's still back in Galar." you got out of your seat grabbed your bags and got off the plane, the week wasn't moving fast enough for you, as all you and Rhett did was take some photos and interviewed a few locals and island captains about Alola, it's wonders and traditions to discover, hopefully some of your readers will consider taking a holiday to the tropics after the article was published.

On your last two days you decided to see if you could catch a few Pokémon, and got lucky! You caught a Drampa, Tropius and a Totodile! you were a little upset when you found out that Tropius and Totodile weren't actually dragon types, however they knew dragon pulse (Tropius) and dragon claw (Totodile) that was apparently rare for them to learn, so on your team they stayed! that and it might give you an advantage. You've seen enough battles to know you won't go far just having one type of Pokémon on your team...

On you last day in Alola Raihan decided to grace you with his presence via text. "Are you there? call me." you cocked a brow debating if you should call him, especially since it was like 3 am in Galar right now, after a few minutes of arguing with your inner thoughts you relented and a hit Drago-boy on your contacts he picked up after two rings.

"Hey..."

"Hey yourself."

"Listen the other day... I'm sorry, I just... you leaving, it caught me off guard is all! I wasn't expect you go away and with a ..guy."

"...Don't worry about it, besides Rhett's boyfriend would have my head if I ever thought of taking his man away." You heard a gurgling noise and figured out Raihan was drinking and just choked. "b-Boyfriend?... s-So you two aren't." he stammered as you couldn't contain your laughter. "Oh no! no ho-ho..no!" The very thought of you and Rhett, it was so far out of left field! "That's great.." the gym said sounding relieved you stopped laughing wondering if you misheard Raihan just now?

"What did you say?"

"I... was taking about the juice I spat all over my pants." You're brows furrowed maybe you had misunderstood his tone? again it was like 3 am back home he's probably tired. "So, what's it's like over there, what kind of Pokémon are there?" You told him how it was very sunny described the nice beaches, meadows and the lush jungles, and the nights were absolutely gorgeous, you described the purple Meowths, the snow white Vulpix and the psychic Raichu that surfs around in the air on it's tail, and told him about the ride Pokémon, while you were in the middle of describing these things called Z-moves, you heard soft breathing coming from Raihan's end, did he fall asleep?

"Rai, you there?" you heard him snore and snickered. "You could've waited another three hours to call me y'know." You hummed before telling Raihan's Rotomphone to hang up for him, before going back to what you were doing before Raihan called, gift shopping! You were looking some black twine bracelets that were made with onyx beads and faux Z-crystals.

You looked over the selections before finding one with Dragonium-Z and purchasing it, you were all happy and proud until you realized now you had to figure out how in the hell were you going to give it to Raihan? you couldn't send it to him as Raihan had told you that he always sends any expensive gifts, he received (jewelry, watches, clothes, electronics, etc.) from fans back to them, with a letter explaining to them why he doesn't except those sort of gifts... then you remembered Riot can fly!

The next night you were back in Galar, Rhett and his boyfriend let you crash on their couch as Jet lag had you knocked out for a few hours, you slept like a log until noon, then you woke up you borrowed their shower and had a quick breakfast before vacating their love-nest. They were waiting for you leave, so they could have some alone time together, Rhett told you the pictures will be done in three days while you sent a draft of your Alola review to your editor, hopefully this sate their apatite until you get that interview with Raihan...

Speaking of which after some careful thinking, You decided maybe having Riot deliver the bracelet was bad idea... It was so easy for Raihan to distract him with food... and what if some stranger did that? all that effort would be for nothing! You stopped by a Pokémart to get a drink when you someone bumped into you nearly knocking you over, luckily they grabbed your arm before steadying you back on your feet.

"Oops, sorry!" you were gonna say it was fine until you looked up and felt your throat go dry and your jaw dropped a little, when you saw the person who bumped into you it was Ex-Champion and currant league board chairman Leon Dande, you must've looked like you were gonna pass out, throw up or something cause Leon kept his hand on your arm just in case. "Are you alright?" he asked concerned as you snapped out of your shock. "I'm fine just surprised, I didn't expect run into you...sir?" your face felt hot when you heard your voice crack.

Leon chuckled "Just Leon is fine, I'm still young y'know!" You smiled nervously cleared you throat and apologized. "S-so what's brings the current chairman to Hammerlock?" You say suddenly switching into semi-journalist mode to try and calm your nerves, now it was Leon's turn to be awkward. "I was head over to the gym and kind of got turned around." You looked at Leon eyes wide as a Hoothoot's! Wow...like you heard about Leon's garbage sense of direction, but to witness it first hand? You had no words! "I... was heading that way, I can take you there if want?" The lavender haired man looked apprehensive about the idea.

You couldn't blame him, If strange lady you just met offers to take you Arceus knows where you'd be wary too, he probably thinks your one of those creepy fangirl's Raihan mentioned to you. "Look I won't try anything on ya lad, you can trust me." You assured him after few moments Leon nodded and the two of you went on your way, the walk was kind of awkward and silent at first before Leon broke the silence eyeing your Pokéballs curiously you've almost got a full team, so of course he's curious, he asked about your team what types they were and what not. "I train mostly dragon types, though I have a Totodile and Tropius." upon hearing you were dragon trainer Leon assumed you were a new hire at the gym

"I don't think I've seen you around, have you just started at the gym?

"Oh, I'm not a trainer I'm a journalist."

"A journalist? huh... since when does Rai..." suddenly Leon got a weird look on his face as he looked you up and down taking in every detail, and creeping you out in the process. "S-say you wouldn't happen to have a Noibat would you?" you awkwardly let Riot out of his ball, Leon's eyes got wider seeing the little dragon land on your head and eye him curiously. "and...a-and his nickname?" the former champ stammered looking he was gonna faint. "um...Riot?" you said timidly as Leon was literally shaking in his boots.

"Holy crap....hahhah! h-holy crap! It's you!"

Leon said laughing he was practically jumping with excitement. "i-it's me?" You say shrinking back unsure of what was happening, Riot sensed your distress and growled at Leon for scaring you. "Yeah You! the Siren Raihan keeps jabbering on about!" Leon seemed to be in a state of both shock and relief, "Raihan talks about me?" you say surprised, Leon was still snickering. "You have no bloody idea lass!" he said wiping his teary eyes. "Heh, Ho~ he's gonna so jealous when I show up with you!" Suddenly the thought of meeting Raihan up close and in real life made you go cold... it was like all the confidence you build up was stomped out by a rampaging Mudsdale.

You had planned originally to pretend to be a courier and say Raihan had ordered the bracelet and just leave it with the secretary, then text him to come get it and be done with it, but now... You stopped and looked up, you and Leon were standing in front the Hammerlock gym you suddenly felt really hot and needed to get away! but first. "H-hey hold up!" Leon looked back at you bemused as you reached into your pack and took the bracelet box out. "I just remembered I have a appointment... um, would you give this to Raihan!, and here if you ever wanna talk." You gave Leon the gift along with your business card and ran, you herd him call out but you ignored him.

Leon was left flabbergasted by you're sudden exit, he looked down at the box then the direction you ran in unsure what to do, then wondered just how exactly you and Raihan became acquainted? Sure, Raihan said he had a bet going on with you, but he never said what the bet was about... Leon frowned as he entered the gym and found his way to the pitch where Raihan was waiting scrolling through his phone, the dragon hadn't even noticed his rival had arrived until he briefly glanced up then did a double take, Raihan put his phone away.

"Huh, you're actually on time, what did you finally figure out that GPS app?" Raihan asked clearly astounded as usually he has to wait up to an hour before Leon finally finds his way to the gym or has a taxi bring him. "Um, no someone helped me." Leon the dragon tamer cocked a brow. "oh who?" Leon held the box out to him. "The woman who said to give you this." Raihan blinked bemused opened the box he frowned and tried to give the box back. "Y'know I don't except these kinds of things from fans." Leon cut him off.

"It's not from a fan..." Raihan was bemused before spying the Siren's web business card Leon was holding, suddenly Raihan's usually confident attitude was replace with the bashfulness of a schoolboy as his cheeks had darkened and his knees were shaking, he stammered some incoherent gibberish and made a move to go outside to and find you, but Leon blocked his way. "She's already gone mate..." The dragon tamer looked like a deerling in the headlights.

"I-...what was she like?" Leon blinked he's never seen Raihan act like this before, it reminded him of Hop when ever he's around Gloria! "Well, she's very honest and helpful..." Raihan gave him a look, oh! he meant what were you like appearance wise.... Leon described you from your height, your weight, hair/eye color and even right down to what you were wearing, He looked at Raihan who was admiring the bracelet you bough him, the dragon tamer was happy cos now he knew what to look for if you ever wander into Hammerlock again.

Meanwhile you were in the wild area setting up a campsite you were miserable, confused and angry at yourself, stupid bet, Stupid Raihan, stupid you for having these feelings... you sniffled wiping your eyes for the umpteenth time as you set up your tent, your Pokémon were concerned about you, Drampa came up and nuzzled you "pa..." he cooed as angry tears flowed down your cheeks, you want to scream this wasn't fair! You shouldn't be feeling this way for a man you can't have.

You broke down in sobs and hugged Drampa who nuzzled you more as the rest of your team clambered over and started cuddling you. Now you felt worse were worrying your team, Tropius used Aroma therapy a pleasant calming scent surrounded you after what seemed like hours you had finally calmed down and assured the Pokémon you were fine and thanked Tropius and Drampa and apologized to the others, and finished setting up camp.

Oh!! Oh-ho!!! Sounds like my kind of fic honey!! Anything involving Speirs is bound to get the creative juices flowing (lol).

Chiang Mai, Thailand (Modern Day)

You couldn't fathom how hot and humid it was on a night like this as you stood on the balcony overlooking the city streets below with the temples and the river in the distance. It was so oppressively hot that not even the little palmetto fan your friend Sirikit had given you would work. You loved this place regardless, the very place where you and Sirikit had grown up together while your parents had gone from one military base to another.....and where you and Ron had eventually gotten married. As much as you loved it, there were times when the heat got under your skin.

"You sure you don't wanna come to bed?" Ron teased.

"If I go anywhere near that bed," you said, furiously waving the fan under your chin. "I'm gonna roast."

Ron knew you weren't lying. Outside he could see the foggy mist rolling over the city and the jungles that lay not too far off. Even the warmth coming up from the river made him wonder if you were both sitting on a barbecue pit in hell.

"Fuck it," you muttered. "I need a cold bath, it's too hot for this shit."

"Want me to join you?" Ron asked cheekily.

"Only if you know where it is," you retorted.

Ron cocked an eyebrow in confusion. The bathroom was right off the bedroom, so why would he need to know where it was? Unless there was something else you had been talking about.

You slipped into the long cobalt, blue robe that had been embroidered with a fearsome looking dragon, not even bothering with your sandals which always lay at the door. Out into the halls you headed, briefly catching Sirikit's grandma in the halls and saying a quick hello as you headed down the stairs.

Out into the garden and down the stone path you went, passing beneath the swags of wisteria and bat flower, past the beds full of jasmine, ylang ylang and deep, blood red hibiscus. You picked up some of the fallen blooms along the way and carrying them to the place you knew where you would be able to get some relief.

Through the palmettos and past the leafy shrubs, you finally made it. The huge stone pool held the cool, dark water that spilled out from the stone dragon heads along the wall while the statues of the bodhittsavas and temple dancers knelt with their hands together. Here it was green and peaceful.....and above all cool.

You heard Ron's footsteps a minute later as he emerged from the greenery. You cracked a smile as he came out in nothing but a pair of black basketball shorts and the black onyx and jade dragon bracelet around his wrist from when you two were married.

"Guess this was what you meant when you said to come find you," he chuckled.

"You wanna join?"

"Fuck yeah I do," he said. "You were right, it's way too hot for this shit."

You stripped yourself of your robe and jumped right into the deep pool, bobbing to the surface with Ron close behind. The shock of cold was unexpected but damn did it feel good after boiling in the heat all day long. You and Ron stuck your heads under the rushing streams pouring from the dragon mouths, letting the coolness wash away the humidity and stickiness that clung to you like a disgusting layer of sweaty film.

You two swam as the sun began to set, leaving a pale purple and rose red streaks along the sky, wrapped in each other's arms and reveling in the closeness that had once been robbed from you by the heat of day. "I could spend the rest of my life here," you said, resting your wet head against the front of Ron's shoulder.

"As long as it's with you," he replied.
