on the one hand, tsc is just another confirmation that nora is a talented writer - i think the dialogue especially is where she really excels. the reading experience was overall very fun, i did enjoy seeing my faves again. neil is an icon, obviously. the culture clash between jean and the trojans was Comedy Gold. and it was interesting to see an exploration of a different trauma response than we've seen in aftg in jean.

on the other hand, i feel like jean's story in tsc mirrors neil's story in aftg - a troubled youth joins an exy team where he will make new friends and get better mentally - but is like. a simplified and less compelling version of that. it's good that jean is his own character, i don't need him to be a copy of neil, but i gotta say - neil's cameo appearances totally stole the show and made me wonder why i wasn't reading a book about him instead. however, it's all the other characters who were the real problem - it felt like i'm reading a version of aftg where a less fun iteration of neil joins an exy team consisting just of the upperclassmen and nicky hemmick which uhhh,, if you've read some of my old posts you know how i feel about him so there was no chance in hell i'd like cat alvarez and her whole shtick. the foxes felt good for the soul bc there was a balance between the upperclassmen's and the monsters' type of care for neil - and crucially neil chose the latter group to be his close circle, among other things, bc he felt they could understand him better. by constrast, jean is alone with the trojans who don't give any credibility to his claims that they just can't understand what he went through, don't respect his right to keep his trauma private and just keep trying to force his "recovery". aftg felt like a bunch of freaks with various but equally fascinating issues put in close quarters and you watch them sometimes butt heads, sometimes uplift each other in the most unexpected ways. tsc however felt like a bunch of normies bullying a traumatized kid - so basically one of those obnoxious fics where the upperclassmen are all in neil and andrew's business.

jean's bisexuality was a double-edged sword too: on the one hand, i felt very smug reading about how his attraction works bc 1) it's so obviously different from neil and 2) wow turns out years of psychological, physical and sexual abuse do not in fact take away your sexuality! le gasp! surprised fucking pikachu!! crazy how through all of this jean is still bi. the human spirit is unbreakable. (unless your mom hits you for kissing a girl, then it's breakable). so i did feel vindicated but at the same time this was not relatable to the point that i can't see myself getting invested in jean and jeremy's developing relationship. nothing is more of a turn off for me in fictional romances than when both of them are immediately attracted to each other and let the reader know in no uncertain terms. where are the mind games? where are the intricate rituals? it feels like a lazy shortcut. but good for them, i guess?

sooo idk. i didn't hate tsc by any means but i'm sad i didn't enjoy it as much as my mutuals😭

Based on an idea I had where Ene asks Kuroha about his motives. He then tells her he's been with the Enes of previous routes. Ene dares him to make her feel good, and Kuroha accepts the challenge.

Ene recognizes that she might not be able to ever truly beat him, but that doesn't mean she'll ever stop trying.

Ene reflects on her experiences with Kuroha/Saeru.

Both in terms of art and writing, KuroEne really gets my creative juices flowing, so I'm so grateful to this pair (and my other faves too) for getting me out of the rut of never posting anything. I'm slowly getting more comfortable with posting my art WIPs too.

KuroEne AU: A monologue snippet from Ene. I want to write more scenes like this ^^

I think it's super fun to delve into and explore her feelings and the kinds of insecurities and loneliness she tries to keep beneath the surface.

How in Manga Route 2, she admits to Shintaro that having so much fun spending time with a friend made her start to feel like she didn't deserve it... Weh weh weh ;__;

Kuroha/Saeru uses the pronouns 僕 (Boku, "I") and 君 (Kimi, "You") in Outer Science, and the rougher masc pronouns 俺 (Ore, "I") and お前 (Omae, "You") in the Kagerou Daze manga.

I made him default to using Ore (俺) and Omae (お前) in my own dialogue scripts since the rougher masc pronouns fit an arrogant chara like him, but I imagine that he probably does use 僕 (Boku) and 君 (Kimi) if he wants to appear softer to Ene.

It'd be familiar to her since Haruka and Konoha both use 僕 (Boku) and 君 (Kimi)

I don't have a favourite character to write dialogue scripts for, since I enjoy writing for all of my meow meow mf and wifey faves. But writing villain charas is seriously cathartic for me :)

The dialogue is sooo fun to write for villain/antagonist charas.

I excel at writing my faves most, so other charas' roles tend to be rather minimized/minimal (or mainly just cameos, if they're there), since I usually just focus on the ship itself in my ship AUs.

Kagerou Daze Manga: Ch. 9 - Shintaro and Ene

I decided to put the pages for context just in case my non-KagePro mutuals wanna tune into these rambles ^^

I didn't get to write all of what I wanted today but I got most of it down so I'll just post what I got for now

One of the ideas I had that I forgot to talk about was Ene getting Kuroha to take her to the amusement park. Ene gets excited talking about how, while she was surfing the web earlier when the android body was recharging, that she found out about an Amusement park attraction and wants to go with him.

I imagine that Kuroha decides to play nice prior to the fateful day of August 15th (in which he plans to enact the "plan" or "Tragedy." Like he acts more tame/normal on purpose, and holds back, and decides to go along with his partner's whims.

Ene goes like, "Take me to the amusement park!!!" And she gets excited when he agrees. I assume they're in a Route where he's made enough improvements that the battery can last anywhere from several hours ~ a full day instead of just an hour or few.

At some point during the Amusement park trip, Ene innerly thinks to herself with flustered, panicky thoughts, like, "W-w-wait why is my face getting all red??? Maybe it's because I'm just embarrassed by this guy's teasing??? Yeah!!! That must be it!!!"

She thought of it as going with like, a friend, before, but she thinks about the fact that it's just the two of them here and that this IS the person she has an intimate relationship with and thinks to herself, "HOLD ON!!! IS THIS A DATE!?!?" And cuz Ene is so easy to read, Kuroha can guess her inner turmoil and just gets amused.

Ene pulls him by the arm and makes Kuroha to come along with her to all the amusement park attractions, and he lets her. They probably go on stuff like the mini boat rides and other attractions.

Kuroha just reacts like (...) the whole time while on the roller coaster ride, like the completely calm type that doesn't react at all, he just watches Ene's excited reactions of "Yippee!!!" (>v<)

Kuroha comments that it's good that Ene seems to be enjoying herself, and Ene tells him that she's never had the chance to go to an amusement park before and that she's having LOTS of fun!!! And that she's glad that he is here with her.

Ene goes like, "Come onnnnn, carry me!!!" And he carries his fussy needy gf, while making a teasing quip that she acts awfully spoiled. And she just pouts like "It's fine, it's fine!!!" (>3<)

When he thinks about it, Kuroha picks up on the fact that back when she was Takane, she'd spend most of her time cooped up in her room at home playing video games, and probably didn't get the chance to go to an amusement park (also due to her chronic illness too). So the bright and peppy exterior Ene displays is over compensation for her regrets and an opportunity to do the things she didn't get to before

At one point, Ene wants Kuroha to win prizes for her at a booth/stand selling plushies by throwing darts into a target marker, and Ene tells him she wants him to win prizes for her. When Kuroha throws the darts, it hits the center (red bull's eye) perfectly.

There's probably also a game with hitting moving targets as well, and he hits them all perfectly and wins the prizes that Ene wants. And Ene's like, "Wow~ You're good at this! Throwing darts, I mean!"

And Kuroha tells her, "Naturally. This much is child's play. I am quite skilled at hunting down moving targets..."

He has plenty of practice at it. Ene takes it as a video game thing cuz Ene makes him play video games together and her faves are shooter types, but ahahaha, there's a much darker secret to that. After that, Ene is carrying a fluffy bunny plushie.

It'd also be fun to think about the Amusement Park Scenario with KonoEne too? KonoEne where Konoha just noms on cotton candy while staying close to her, and she just gets all blushy and huffy at him.

Also with the darts scenario, Konoha wouldn't hold back (cuz of how dense and airheaded he is), so him throwing the dart just creates a mini crater in the wall.

Like it plays out much differently with KuroEne ofc.

I was just thinking about it but I really want to write dialogue scripts for an Amusement Park scenario in my KuroEne AU.

Basically Ene tells Kuroha she's always wanted to go to the amusement park (since she didn't get the chance to before) and that she wanted to go with a friend (Shintaro), but said friend was a total shut-in and not the type to want to go outside.

So this is the perfect opportunity for her to go with someone!

Ene has a faint blush on her cheeks and pushes her sleeves together as she goes like, "I've been meaning to ask! I was wondering if you would… take me to the Amusement Park?" And Kuroha agrees to take her.

While there, Ene tells him she's having lots of fun! Kuroha muses to himself about the irony. In Manga Route 1, he ended the MekaDan at this very same park. The irony isn't lost on him.

But it's cute to see Ene enjoying herself and having fun and he finds her behaviour naive and foolish for readily accepting him and trusting him so easily, but also innocent and endearing.

Kuroha/Saeru pretends to join the Mekakushi Dan

I just had an idea like y'know what would be a fun idea for a KuroEne AU Route.

I just thought about it since, my KuroEne AU routes usually have KuroEne hang out alone together in a secluded/abandoned building or real estate just to themselves.

But I also thought that it WOULD be interesting

If the Mekakushi Dan doesn't get the chance to meet Konoha, but Kuroha pretends to be an Eye Ability user and "joins" them just out of curiosity.

The MekaDan think they've invited a new member, in reality they have the enemy in their hideout. The irony isn't lost on him.

He's good at playing pretend.

Something that he can pull off because he's an Eye Ability snake, he can make his eyes glow red. And he just pretends his Eye Ability is Awakening Eyes

The other Mekakushi Dan members accept him like, "Welcome to the Mekakushi Dan!" (:D)

And upon getting this warm greeting from everyone, he goes from (…) and slowly smirks like, "Thank you for having me."

…

Like, Kuroha/Saeru pretends to be apart of the Mekakushi Dan and be "one of them" to find new ways to spice up the game and make things fun. It's something different cuz he's usually used to playing the game alone with Ene, now they have "spectators" around them

Though obviously they'll be alone for their intimacy.

Shintaro almost feels relieved to see someone like Kuroha/Saeru that can manage to tease Ene so easily and make her flustered, it's like getting payback or sweet revenge for Ene always teasing him.

I thought of one scenario that'd be fun where it's like… KuroEne are alone in the MekaDan's hideout together, the rest of the members are still out and have yet to come back.

Shintaro comes back earlier than the others (earlier than expected) cuz it's been a long time since he's been in the summer heat (as a shut-in NEET), so he's not used to it.

Shintaro wonders where the others (KuroEne) are while thinking to himself. While checking one of the rooms, he sees that the door is slightly open and catches a glimpse of the view of Kuroha leaning in to kiss Ene through the space in the door that's open.

He just immediately backs away from the door and freaks out innerly to himself. Then Shintaro thinks back on all the instances of Ene actually getting embarrassed/flustered by Kuroha/Saeru's teasing, which is so unlike her usual self, and things start to make sense.

Irt Kuroha/Saeru, he's a Snake so he can sniff things out way better than a human can, he probably smelled the scent of another person in the air when Shintaro came in through the door. But it doesn't matter to him if anyone finds out about their r/s.

Shintaro: (WHAT…. NO WAY!!! THERE'S JUST NO WAY!!! AHHHH! IT'S NOT MY BUSINESS! I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING!)

Shintaro: (Come to think of it… I just thought it was fun to see Ene being the one getting teased.. I never thought there'd be something like THAT between them!!!)

Shintaro: (BUT I DIDN'T THINK THERE WAS ANYTHING GOING ON BETWEEN THEM… I MEAN!!! THAT ENE!?!? WHO USUALLY ACTS SO SPOILED AND SELFISH!!! SUDDENLY ACTING ALL SHY!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???)

Ene managing to pester and tease Saeru is a huge feat she should feel accomplished. I think it's so funny to imagine Shintaro being the (unfortunate) spectator of KuroEne's shenanigans together.

Ene being bratty on purpose to rile up Saeru is a fun concept :3

Ok destiny I need people(anons) to understand something:

Tom is not giving up Spider-Man for shit. He’s said a hundred times he’d play Peter Parker for as long as he’s able to, and he meant that shit. He’s stood on business about it (the boy got a tattoo of a spider for god’s sake, you know that boy don’t like spiders!)

And as far as wanting him to work on other movies before going back to Spider-Man, you don’t know that he won’t work back to back with different films at the same time. He’s done it with Devil All The Time, Uncharted, Cherry, etc.—he might work back to back and take an even longer break than he’s taking now! Or he might not—that’s the beauty of not knowing people, we’ll never know what he wants to do unless he tells us; you know why? Cause it’s not our fucking place to know 🙃.

I’m so sick of this misplaced concern stans seemed to have—you want him to give up Spider-Man, a character he loves, just because you want him in more roles? Like he can’t have both with the snap of his fingers?? Tom has cemented his status, if he wants a role other than Peter Parker, his agent will secure it or Tom will make it himself, a “stan” should know this by now.

Tom is going to do what TOM wants to do at the end of the day, so fans need to just suck it up, and watch their fave do what he's going to do! Let him be what HE wants to be, and let him do what HE wants to do! RE: Spider-Man.... At one point, Tom DID say in a GQ interview once that if he's still playing Spider-Man by the time he's 30 years old, then something is wrong...(or something to that effect)

Keep in mind though, Tom said that way back in 2021. Maybe he might feel a little differently now? Either way, I kind of think that SOME fans maybe took what he said and ran with it. So now, they really want him to shake the character off.

I personally don't see Tom playing Spider-Man forever, but I DO think that he will always be regarded as one of our "best Spider-Men", and might even make a cameo in a film 20 years from now after his own franchise is long-over lol. 😅 But Sony is willing to have Tom play Spider-Man for as long as he's willing it seems.

The issue with people upset by the prequel is that it’s basically a wound that keeps getting picked at every time another OG Cast member joins the show and Jared is still not there. I have to be honest, I don’t like Jensen as quite as much as I did before the prequel situation, BUT I still enjoy seeing him in stuff. Honestly, I don’t see how the finale made the situation any worse. No one truly thought Jared would be in it. Sam was the reason for Dean turning up again at the end. It could have been worse. I think people are allowed to be upset about the show, but Jensen didn’t newly kick their puppies.

I get that to some it feels like a slap or a throw away line about Sam, but it would have been worse if he wasn’t mentioned at all. Jensen could have asked Jared to make a cameo and maybe he said no. I don’t really think that happened, but I can’t, and don’t want to, waste any more energy being upset by a show , or the behind the scenes of a show, when I’ll never be able to know the full true story anyway.

I think Jensen truly has made a mistake in how he handled the not-really-a prequel, and I don’t think he came off looking great from a personal or professional POV. But, he’s also gotten more visibility with The Boys and an ABC show. So, it’s not like he’s destitute now or something. I don’t think he’s in any danger of not working.

People have lost the art of seeing nuance in people and situations. It’s all black and white. Jared is a monster. Jensen is the devil. Jared is my sweet meow meow. Jensen is perfect. Most people aren’t all good or all bad, and sometimes they can do crappy things while still being a decent person at their core.

Can people just chill the F out?

I have no interest in defending the prequel generally, not least because I don't understand basically ... any ... of the decisions made in doing it. Like my reaction to nearly all of it has been, "But why, though?". So someone not liking Jensen anymore or liking him less than before over it? Eh, fair enough.

However, still going on about how Jensen is an evil backstabber trying to "erase" Sam literal years later when he sorted it out with Jared in a day is just ... something else. Including acting offended all anew because there really wasn't - IMO - an obviously better way to bring Sam into that finale without a Jared appearance he may not have wanted or been able to do for any number of reasons. As much as certain Jensen stans and hellers are trying to deny it, the underlying motivation for Dean was explicitly said to be protecting Sam. Like I see no real difference between acting like it's some pointed insult Dean went on an adventure without Sam and acting like it was some pointed insult Sam lived longer than Dean in the finale.

Likewise trying to insist all Jensen's other projects are laughable failures and he's clearly desperate for work because ... obviously nobody would choose to do more than one thing after doing the same show for 15 years! There are plenty of other actors both more and less successful than Jared and Jensen, so the obsession with continuing to pit them against each other when they clearly aren't following the same path anymore is just ... silly stan bullshit.

Yes, being the lead of a weekly show and an EP of that show and another is impressive on any network. Yes, The Boys is a buzzy streaming show and even a supporting role on ABC means new audience and networking opportunities. Sneering at either is ridiculous. Both of these guys could probably retire tomorrow if they wanted off SPN money, but lucky for us? They're still creating things for their fans to enjoy - but for stans, that's not good enough. One of them has to be crushing the other because their not!fave is an unforgivable terrible horrible no good very bad person that will get his just desserts if they just talk enough shit. 🙄

There was a JuAli idea I had that was based on the concept of someone's rukh turning pink when they blush. I used this concept for my own purposes for JuAli~

I think Judar teasing Alibaba to see his flustered reactions is so cute. Since Judar's a Magi, he'd notice it and get this smug sense of satisfaction until he gets the tables turned on him. I think they have lots of moments where they embarrass and fluster each other. They're the cute, emotionally awkward couple at first :)

JuAli idea 2 rambles:

I had another separate JuAli idea in my head where JuAli lightheartedly bicker and Judar fake cries to try to get his bf to tell him he's cute. Because he is an annoying nyam nyam /endearing

He would totally do this tbh. The idea is so funny to me. The fake tears are super effective!

So he makes a more innocent cutesy expression with fake tears. Alibaba feels a little frustrated, but innerly he's thinking maybe it is pretty cute... And Judar’s like “Come on, don’t give me that look~ Not even a little bit?” And Alibaba is like “Urgh— NO!!! IT ISN'T!!!” And then Judar's expression reverts back to normal and he just goes like, “Ok, fine...” But he still tries to get him to say it, teehee.

Some thoughts on my first impressions of Judar:

I think I forgot to mention last time, but I also love drawing pointed underlashes on Judar. It’s such a nice touch.

So I’m not even surprised cuz I guessed that Judar would be one of my faves the first time he showed up in a cameo appearance in the manga. In Ch. 15. And he ended up being my fave. Totally expected tbh, this chara is perfectly sen-core. In terms of design, character, personality, and vibes... Everything.  

I knew I was right with the meow meow mf instincts. My meow meow mf instincts were on point again and I never fucking miss LMAO

When it comes to my masc faves, I always adopt a very specific character type that my friends and I have personally named meow meow mf ™️

Basically, if they’re a meow meow mf ™️, then the character has these character design tropes or character traits:

Usually has a black and/or white hair or colour scheme

Morally questionable or morally bankrupt or evil. Otherwise, they are totally down for murder

More complicated/complex than they initially seem

Either a stoic aloof :| or smiley ^-^ cat cot type

A smug edgy bastard

Passive aggressive, violent, and/or threatens people

Emotionally repressed and/or has emotional issues

If they have these, then they qualify to be sen-core. Filling all those traits is so highly specific, yet it includes so many characters from my faves.  

Like, all my top fave charas are like this, I could not be more predictable if I tried. My tastes are so predictable, I have the most obvious predictable tastes on this planet lmaooo /lh

Judar is perfectly catered to my tastes in cat-like masc charas I want to adopt <3 What a squishable skrunkly. Cat cot. Gremlin meow meow mf.

Observations of similarities between my other faves:

My top main faves ever are: Hibari Kyouya (KHR), Ashiya Douman (FGO), Xanxus (KHR), Idate (WATGBS AU), and Judar (Magi). My top main faves are all very important and personal charas for me.

One of my friends told me that Idate (WATGBS AU) and Judar (Magi) are just all of my other top main faves combined and wrapped in a neat little package. Teehee.

Tfw Hibari, Douman, Xanxus, Idate, and Judar, are my top main faves ever, and Idate has traits from them all. I think it’s just more obvious with Idate, he has some very similar traits from my other faves.

Meanwhile, Judar has bits of traits from pretty much every single one of my main faves. That’s insane to me. When I first saw Judar, I was like... “Sen-core meow meow mf in my manga? I’m literally done for.” But he’s none of my faves in particular, he’s his own character and not really exactly similar to anyone else.

Judar is both everyone of my faves, and no one in particular. Like, he has some traits from Douman (FGO), Idate (WATGBS AU), Hibari (KHR), Ren (SK), etc., but at the same time, is none of them.

I think I have a lot to say about the similarities he shares with my other series’ faves, but I think it’ll go in another post for now.

Like... he has some traits from EVERYONE of my main faves, but isn’t really any one of them. Usually, most of my sen-core meow meow mfs faves are VERY different from each other, character and personality-wise, they usually just have similar basics. I cherish all of my cat faves very much <333 And they're all very unique!

Needless to say, I am so obsessed with this gremlin cat cot. Judar is very me-core. My friends were the ones that introduced me to Magi, and I’m very grateful to them that I found such an amazing series, Judar, one of the most perfect sen-core meow meow mfs ever, a Sun/Moon/Eclipse themed cat cot, and JuAli, a Light/Darkness, Sun/Moon, Fire/Ice, Rivals/Enemies to Lovers, sen-core ship.

The similarities my faves have between each other:

With Judar and Douman, it's the fact that they both have a black sun leitmotif and that they're both (^-^) smiley type meow meows. Judar is the Fallen Magi and black rukh user. Douman is specialized in magic and sorcery, and curses. He has Ītzpāpālōtl, the Aztec god of darkness, as one of their component spirits. Also, they have eaten gods.  

They both play the role of an antagonist or opposing figure towards the protagonists at first, in their respective stories. Douman carries Yin/Yang and Sun/Moon symbolism with his character, they wear crescent moon shaped magatama earrings. Judar is both the black sun and the moon.

I have a WATGBS AU with friends where we entirely revamped and rewrote our WATGBS AU faves for our own purposes, and we're writing our own stories for them. The WATGBS AU version of Idate (that I wrote together with my friends), and Judar, have some similarities with their personalities, vibes, general demeanours, trauma reactions and powers.

With Judar and Idate, it's the way they do whatever they want and do things just to enjoy themselves. They can get violent. They want to play with others, and treat things just like a game. They have this air of playfulness, and they have this childlike sense of entitlement when it comes to their wants.

Like, out of my faves, Hibari, Xanxus, Idate, and Judar, etc. are this very specific brand of “Delusional meow meow living in his own bubble that thinks he's the coolest cat king of the world.” They think they're hot stuff. These characters are the kings of their own lives and the world around them, even if only in their own heads /endearing

Idate's villain arc in my and my friends' WATGBS AU reminds me of Judar who initially wanted to get back at the world for allowing such atrocities to happen to him... weh weh weh. The way they were upset after finding out what happened to their parents... Idate finding out the truth about his past and parents definitely contributed to descent to madness. Also their powers are both darkness based.  

My friends have also talked about this with me before. The chapters with Belial's dungeon showed that Judar was, understandably so upset about what happened to his parents... And for being used his entire life to satisfy others' selfishness, his loss of agency from childhood, and the fact that all the emotional issues he has were directly caused by Al-Thamen.

There's something I want to say about the similarities between Judar and Tao Ren, another fave of mine, but I'll leave that for another post. I think this is getting pretty long.

In response to my previous ask, it's quite a shame that we won't get Venti as a potential love interest after knowing how powerful he really is :( Freedom was such a double edge knife during that age and time that Venti having a personality to reflect that would have been so interesting to see. Does he get more appearances in the common routes or is his cameos exclude to a certain route?

Also, talking about types, I have a really funny story about it that cracks me up from time to time. One night, my friend expressed an interest in FE3H so I began introducing the cast to her over the call. It took quite a long time since ya know how big of a cast it is so after introducing everyone, I jokingly asked her who did she thinking was my favourite character and she, without a single hint of hesitance, said "It's Ashe, isn't it?"... to which I replied "h o w" in the most shocked voice I could muster. Because??? Yeah we've been friends for a long time but??? She barely even knew these characters??? How did she know that Ashe was my favourite???? And then she laughed and said that he just seems like the guy that I would like according to all my past faves and I HATE that she's right. (Carmen, if you're reading this by some chance, I still hate you for this/j)

Yeah don't spend any money until you're at least financial stable on your own. It's good to spend money on games cause it supports the game developers and allows them to continue working on the game but as players, we have the responsibility of spending rationally and not falling into a financial crisis for simple entertainment

Voices are such a big criteria for me when it comes to picking my faves. That's part of the reason why, as much as I love Albedo, I can't like him as much as Tighnari or Xiao because his CN voice is so,,,, it's just so different from the others. I think Khoi just did too good of a job voice acting for him to the point that Khoi's voice is just The Albedo Voice(tm). Aether/Scara's CN VA did such a good job voice acting for both of em, especially in the recent prelude archon quest which is just (chef kiss) beautiful, spectacular, amazing.

But for real, most characters I have a crush on start with me going in an enemies to lovers route with them. Now usually when I get a husbando I start being in complete denial and won't stop slandering them (playfully) while my friends point out I'm a tsundere. I am not aware whenever I like a character or I just really loathe them. You have to stage an intervention for me to realize things.

Exhibit A&B: Childe and Diluc. Never knew I actually did like him until my friends started saying "sus" all over again until I realized "sht, you right, I am sus." That's the painful cycle of being Ansy's favorite. Although I don't think I see Childe in that light anymore, that doesn't mean I didn't joke about how I made him wait in the Liyue restaurant for months to take a vacation and came back with a tan cuz I dislike him lol. I'd go into detail as to how my "tsundere"ness made my friends start a fic chain about yandere!isekai!diluc but I won't.

There are two husbandos I've never had that with and they remain my most faves, which is Dimitri and Oda from BSD. Now those two? They're the peak of the things I love about a character. I felt like I had a friends to lovers arc with them instead.

Dimitri's kind but has a feral side with him while Oda is similar except he's poetically but disastrously apathetic in life. What they have in common however, as I have recently realized, is that they both die.

Jk, it's cause they're both self-sacrificing!... Yeah and that also 99% of my husbandos die–

When I first got to Dain, not a single day was spent without me calling him Genshin!Dimitri or Dimitri in Genshin Art Style. I liked his looks– lord I love his cape his hair his eyes the way he's dressed. He's so pretty.

And so, like usual, I kept slandering him like my other then-husbandos lmao.

I kept making jokes that he's my husband that went to buy milk for the last 500 years and forgot to come home. I also kept joking that I keep forgetting to finish his quest + We Will Be Reunited and he's been waiting in wolvendom for weeks lol. I was a Razor main so I made jokes that he doesn't visit his son often anymore... That information is absolutely irrelevant but I just wanted to share that hAHAHAHAH–

... so why did I brought up Dimitri and Oda? Other than the fact that Dain is basically Dimi's twin brother from another franchise, they feel like a merge between those two if that makes sense.

Dain feels like what would've happened if Post Time Skip Dimitri (PTSD) never got his classmates to help him and went on to quell his anger by himself and he succeeded so now he doesn't know what to do. It doesn't help that Yuri Lowenthal delivers these lines like PTSDimitri's low voice. He also carries the same calm and jadedness Oda has for life. Dain narrates things like he's an outsider in the same way Oda feels rather disconnected with his own life. There's also something poetic about the way he speaks, like how he described the abyss mages as the claws and fangs, etc. Dain's humble and acts neutral like Oda too.

Dain's like the perfect mixture of these two for me. Cuz unlike most my husbands he's immortal so he can't die right?

And, idk why, but I feel like out of all the characters I know, Dain wouldn't hate me so much? I think I'd annoy Dimitri a lot and Oda wouldn't know what to do with me. I feel like Dain and I would have a perfect balance on speaker & listener during conversations.

It also doesn't help that Dimitri's ISFJ and I'm ENTP so if I ever have a friendship with Dimitri I'd be like Claude 2.0 but worse and Oda might think I'm Dazai but not s**cidal

Dain absolutely has a calming presence. He's the type who, if you're both comfortable, would hug you from behind and place his head on the crook of your neck every morning to show that he loves you. And he doesn't even have to say it cause you'll feel it. He's been through a lot and he would be hesitant to be with you but the moment you hug him back he'd crumble and he'd lean his cheek against your palm. Can you imagine it? Can you imagine his morning voice? If you can't, recall the moment he said "find a way... To stop that thing!" but make it c a l m e r . That's right. Wouldn't you want to hear that same voice say "Good morning"? C'mon. You get me right?

Dain's also pretty sassy. I like that in a man– he hasn't lost his sense of humor after gaining immortality lol. Plus he's smart but not in an Alhaitham type of way but in a street-smart manner, which for me is 100x more attractive. Another unlike alhaitham is that he's not arrogant haha. He knows how he should conduct himself with the archons and he's not totally blinded by grudges (which is why I also love Kazuha) but boy oh boy would I love to see feral!past!Dainsleif who tries to fricking war against these archons it'd be fun af. Trust me, I adore PTSDimitri's feral sht but the way he slowly gained his sanity made me fall for him HARD.

Lord I would go on for days so I'll stop

Tldr, I love him a healthy amount and I feel like I would have a cordial platonic friendship with Dainsleif lol

firstly I wanna try guess the title, I want to say it'll be stage themed but I guess that hasn't been the case since book 7 now...

Widdershins: Encore - this one makes less sense i just like the word encore :)

Widdershins: Closing Night - i'm not even sure if this is a thing they say about stages. like there's definitely opening night. idk about this. it does sound like the end of the series though so it has that going for it.

Thoughts on the Rebelde series

🚨🚨🚨 SPOILERS AHEAD 🚨🚨🚨

First thing first, I’m a fan of RBD and the og series so i wasn’t too exited for this new series, to be honest I wasn’t expecting much and my plans where to just do a hate watch and that’s it BUT my opinion changed and let me tell you why with some pros an cons

Pros

I literally was shocked when I saw Pilar on my screen in the first episode, was not a fan of her in the og rebelde but i was happy to see her 

Celina my beloved how amazing you are

The trama was good at first I liked that they didn’t do a new universe inspire by the og series and didn’t erased RBD, like they did some references in a few episodes and my nostalgic self was happy 

Dixon and Andi fav characters 

Dixon was cute and was very sweet with MJ, really loved his accent to the point that when he was on my screen i was hoping for him to talk a lot and I like that he was a good friend and was trying to make peace when the others where fighting, he has king energy and I love him

Andi i love how she was herself from the start and that she was a gay mess everytime Emilia was near, really loved how careful she was with Emilia when she told her that she hasn’t been with other girl, we support  queen Andi here 

Luka’s character was good and i liked how he was slowly realizing that he did care about the band and the way he changed his attitude once he was told that Esteban was his brother

The new set’s are cool wish we could’ve seen more of the school 

The original song and covers where good and Dixon’s rap was my fave

The uniforms look really cool and they way they styled them was good to watch, special mention to Dixon’s skirts and Lukas outfits

I like how MJ changed in every episode like you could see from the first episode that she was kind of shy and that everything was so new to her and seeing her be free and happy with herself at the end was cool

Cons

The lodge trama, I like it but I think they could have done more yk, like just 8 episodes wasn’t enough, I remember in the og series that the lodge was a big deal for a lot of episodes and it was predictable that Sebas was the leader but bonus points for the secretary being part of it, really took me by surprise 

Marcelo being Esteban’s dad was a bit predictable they set it up good but I knew like two episodes before Esteban’s mom said it  

I was so sure that one of the RBD members would make a cameo but 🤡🤡🤡 I was at the edge when MJ saw Roberta’s clothes thinking that Dulce Maria would appear behind her 

I hated that netflix did the sex scenes but you know it’s netflix and they love to sexualize teenagers so 

The songs, please if they’re gonna use the songs please just use them in the background or something like in Mamma Mia here we go again when they used chiquitita in one scene but it was just the instrumental (idk if it was chiquitita) but please don’t try and do new versions, the og’s are good and should not be touch, I get that they want another generation of fans but pls make original music like RBD did with Rebelde way if you know what i mean 

Now with the character’s, Esteban and Jana where ok but i wish they didn’t make them a couple so soon, and bc of that I couldn’t enjoy them much

MJ was great in the first few episode’s but with Sebas manipulating her to make her think that Jana was pushing her to be her shadow ruined her for me a bit, I understand why she did that in the final episode but at the same time I didn’t like it so I hope in the second season they fix it, I love her and Dixon together tbh. 

I think this is all i have to say for now, I liked the series and it was more than I expected so kudos to netflix for making me change my opinion on this new idea and please remember this is my opinion and that I’m judging based on my nostalgia, I think it was great and that they will have a bunch of new fans if they keep it interesting enough in the future maybe I’ll do a rewatch or something

OK so Monet briefly cameos in Ms Marvel and Wolverine (may not be the exact title) and no shade to this comic because it's fine. It's under no obligation to do a bunch of service to my faves anyway, and it really is just a small, inconsequential cameo.

But I fucking hated it.

So this just me ranting about the shortcomings of her writing recently.

So in this comic, she's in Penance almost the entire time. She doesn't use her other powers, she doesn't appear to even fly. And for some bizarre reason Armor protects her with her forcefield which like... girl she's nearly indestructible even without Penance, and in that form she's meant to be harder than diamonds. They're fighting little robot alien bugs. She shouldn't need this.

Secondly she has one line referencing x-corp, and it's like "I should be doing spreadsheets right now". And it's not even a good joke. Like, it's not the main x-corp joke (I.e. lol these superheroes are cosplaying as CEOs), it's just lazy and unfunny. Monet isn't a workaholic, she's just inclined to brag about her business "success".

This particularly stood out to me because the Infinity Comic series did a Generation X reunion where Monet is featured in a small role but kind of perfectly. She's super competent, badass, aloof and fabulous. She doesn't change into Penance because she doesn't need to, she just uses her powers to save the day... like she should. X-Corp is mentioned, but in a way that makes sense - that is, kind of tongue-in-cheek. (Also she shares clothes with Jubilee and it's a very important moment for me)

X-Corp itself handled Monet pretty well I think. This is I guess a relative statement because the last series that had her as a regular was Weapon X-Force which was horse shite as far as her character was concerned, and before that Uncanny X-Men (2016) that was mostly kind of an insult towards her. In contrast, X-Corp had a good grasp on her character and wasn't hellbent on degrading her at every turn. (I said this was a rant, okay? I'll be charitable to those series some other time). X-Corp itself also had a fun absurdist sense of humour and I enjoyed a lot of it.

Now, since Hickman threw this Penance situation on Monet and never even tried to make sense of it (I think it might actually be a retcon from his perspective - I.e. he's presenting it like this has always been her power), X-Corp had to deal with the question of how this power works, what this transformation means to her.

The approach they go with makes sense, she's Monet most of the time but shifts into Penance when she wants too, and also when she's really upset. Penance is literally a metaphor for social isolation and trauma so this is a good place to start.

But a lot of subsequent cameos have treated it as if her main/only power is transforming into Penance.

Also some of them are super insulting (e.g. spending most of Empyre unconscious)

I fucking hate this.

Giant-Sized X-Men: Storm (may not be the exact title) genuinely did Monet justice. It kept her in character and packed in a lot, including things that a lot of other writers forget (I.e. that she's a genius, and that she doesn't like Emma).

And I really do like her appearance in House of X... I'm just worried if the consequences of this Penance thing are actually a bit mixed. And I hate that I'm saying that because I am in love with the potential of this concept. But so far no writer has seriously engaged with what this means for her beyond the ONE SCENE that X-Corp had time for.

Being trapped in Penance is canonically a recurring nightmare of Monet's. It's canon that at least part of why she's depressed to the point of suicidal ideation shortly after leaving school is because of this. Because of what being Penance was to her. Because it was the form she was trapped in for years while her brother periodically ATE HER BONE MARROW. This is not a simple thing for her. It's not just a cool new power.

This could be such a great thing to explore but I guess they just said "nah".

I'm just really bothered by the fact that in the last FOUR YEARS, Monet's best appearances are:

A one shot that's primarily about another character

A five issue series that, thanks to covid, fell apart before it really got started and is mostly comedy anyway

A cameo in an infinity comic about dungeons and dragons.

blorbo (favorite character, character I think about the most): oh man. prrrrrobably Soundwave. i fucking LOVE cyberverse soundwave. he is the funniest one in the whole damn franchise. the exact moment i fell in love with him was when in the s2 opener starscream walks in and he cuts the background music the moment starscream talks about how MEGATRON HAS FALLEN, NOW I, STARSCREAM- like i had to pause the fucking stream to piss myself laughing. he is so 'no fucks to give' in that series. i would DIE for tfc soundwave. and he wouldn't even thank me.

scrunkly (my “baby”, character that gives me cuteness aggression, character that is So Shaped): COSMOS...... so cute. i was so happy to see cosmos in tfc!!! and they're SO adorable. i loved that whole episode.

scrimblo bimblo (underrated/underappreciated fave): i honestly feel like the small tfc fandom that exists has love for literally everyone, honestly. it's one of the nice things about it. we're all out here pointing like HEY!!! LOVE THAT ROBOT. at the slightest tiniest cameo. so.... noone, bc everyone gets their moment of love, honestly.

glup shitto (obscure fave, character that can appear in the background for 0.2 seconds and I won’t shut up about it for a week): uhhhh HMMM. strika is technically there for like 0.5 seconds and that makes me HAPPY. in my head her and clobber, aka "they wouldn't let us change her to a girl and also call her tfa lugnut bc hasbro are COWARDS", are married post-series. seeing her delighted me.

poor little meow meow (“problematic”/unpopular/controversial/otherwise pathetic fave): tarn in tfc is so funny and i love him. he's so good. i cant believe he's in a show for eight year olds. i can't believe he's PERFECT in a show for eight year olds. it's hysterical. i love it. he's so dumb and i want to very condescendingly pat him on his dumbass head. a+ folks, you nailed it.

horse plinko (character I would torment for fun, for whatever reason): this isn't really a continuity where that feels like the right approach tonally but if i HAD to choose........ probably hot rod. but i'd give him a hug after. he's trying so HARD. poor boy.

eeby deeby (character I would send to superhell): nobody. no, not even tarn or megatron x. tfc is a continuity where i am so delighted at all times that i simply cannot send anyone to superhell. (but if you DID twist my arm, megatron x/'the other one'.)

After the push for her character, I suspected she could be linked to the 3rd show. I definitely believe they miscalculated that move with the General Audience and totally screwed her character with the cheat plot. The backlash is on all platforms and it’s hilarious. A new character that the audience doesn’t know but AK was doing so much talking about her character. I suspect they wanted the audience to be a bit familiar with Lucy before announcing the third series.

There has been quite a bit of speculation about that given the hard push in the interviews, and pairing her with a fan fave to give the character a boost but like...in a way that backfired SO SPECTACULARLY, that after one episode and only a couple of scenes, the casual viewers are all already absolutely sick of her character and want nothing to do with her. 🤣 I will say there was also speculation about MW getting a spinoff because of the way Ghost Stories felt like SUCH a backdoor pilot episode but now KR is out here saying that they only had so many tay kay scenes because they were short on cast members, needed filler, and she was less expensive to hire (hmmmm, I wonder why?) so who really knows.

And while a 3rd series has been mentioned as a possibility and maybe even something they're working towards, it's not been mentioned as in the works. They would have to get someone to write the pilot and probably pitch the season arc and FOX would have to agree that it sounds viable and agree to produce it at the very least (probably many more steps I don't know about or haven't even considered) so at this point it doesn't feel likely that it's something that would be ready to come out at the same time as season 6 (I'm guessing it would have to run in the fall/winter as Lone Star runs in the winter/spring and OG has a fall/spring airing schedule). 

So them hyping her up for season 6 would mean being stuck with her for all of season 6 before she moved on to her own show the next season which is...not a pleasant thing to think about. But it's also something that seems distinctly like an impossibility now that the casual viewers are SO deeply against this character. They might be able to pick up new viewers who don't know her history, but again, it's tough to get new viewers for a show where the main was on the OG for a season and a half before spinning off onto the new show. Many people would feel they had to watch her scenes from the other show to feel like they aren't "missing" something, or behind, and then would see how her arc stars, or would decide not to bother with the new show altogether since they don’t want to watch the other series first. That’s why typically with a spinoff it’s either someone who has been around for a long time and is loved and they think can carry their own show and bring all their fans along to convince new viewers to watch, or someone who makes a couple of cameo appearances to give viewers of one show a name and a face and a connection but nothing too deep that would require lots of viewing to catch up on, and then hopefully pull viewers from one show to the other while not having told enough about the character that new fans will be turned off or feel obligated to watch the other show to “catch up”. 

What they have done now? Neither option really works because she hasn’t been around long enough to have a fanbase to draw and the majority of casual viewers HATE her already and would never watch a spinoff show with her as the main, and if the tried to rehab her character on this show, she’d have to have a lot more screentime which would a) defeat the purpose as people don’t want to see her, they want our OG characters so more screentime would make her more hated, and b) would end up with her having a season and a half or so of backstory which could turn off fans wanting to start an entirely new show, while also, as mentioned, not being long enough to have a big fanbase to follow her to a new show. 🤷‍♀️

ALAN, MY SON, THE LIGHT OF MY LIFE. I love him so much I cannot even begin to explain how much. I still think about him all the time even though I'm not actively writing PokéAni things anymore. He's easily the most interesting human character the PokéAni has produced and had the best story and adventure, and while I miss him terribly, I'm also so nervous about him ever returning because I feel like they'll only bring him back to shit all over him. Nevertheless though, he is my valiant dragon son, my absolute most favorite best boy. ♥

LIZARDON (Alan's Charizard) TBH . . . because have you ever seen a sweeter charizard? He just loves getting chin scritches and pets and cuddles and snuggles and just loves his boy so much. Like don't get me wrong, he is expertly trained on all fronts, he loves battling just as much as his trainer and he can be ferocious! But also he just loves sharing snacks and getting snuggled and is just a sweet, sweet boy. I love him so much too ♥

I mean, considering I have still seen hate toward Alan for winning the Kalos League as recently as this fucking year, he counts. But in the interest of not picking Alan for every answer, I'm going to say Tracey! Tracey got a lot of flack as well for replacing Brock during the Orange Islands arc, especially due to the reason why that happened (because the Japanese studio was afraid that Americans would perceive Brock as a racist caricature for some reason). But I honestly love Tracey and I wish that he'd gotten to remain with the squad during Johto so that it would have been a four person group. I like the fact that he's an artist and is the only one with a sense of direction, I like how he teased Ash and Misty about their respective crushes on each other, I like how he would drop everything to draw a new pokémon. MY GIRL CASEY, MY BOY RITCHIE, MY GIRL DUPLICA . . . many characters that recur so they're not a Character of the Day, but that they still haven't appeared in like sixty million years so they can count here. Incidentally both Casey and Ritchie got little cameos in the new promo short that was released recently (to promote an artist's work), and that made me very happy over on twitter, haha.

OH, and as a final one, MY GIRL MOLLY HALE. And heck, while we're at it, my girls Cooltrainer Lisa and Melody, too. They're just movie characters but I loved them so much. Particularly since the Hales are family friends of the Ketchums, I wish we could have seen Molly come back at some point.

I don't know that I really have an answer for this. Maybe Lawrence III from the second movie? Because he just wanted to do what is arguably the point of the main series games (catch 'em all) but he was also ruining the world while doing so, so it was like "okay we know we say to catch them all but also don't do that" lmao. I don't really know though.

I mean, despite how much I love him, I do torment Alan an awful lot for hurt/comfort reasons. Though in my defense, so did the actual show.

Aside from him, I have a running gag in my fics where Louis thinks that Alan is his rival, that they have a very real rivalry going on, but Alan never remembers who Louis is because Louis is just . . . not important to him at all lmao. So that can count as an emotional plinko. And Malva also deserves the plinko because while she didn't actually know of Lysandre's plans of genocide in the anime and did do her part to redeem herself, she also stood idly by as he emotionally abused and used Alan and kind of laughed about it, too. (She was like, "Capturing such a pure boy . . . you're terrible" or something like that, but she was smirking the whole time.) So into the plinko she goes.

Lysandre (again), Xerosic (again), Hunter J, Paul, Damian, AJ . . . basically anyone who abuses pokémon or tries to commit mass genocide goes straight into superhell with no remorse.

Overall This is just a diverse collection of stories aimed squarely at young people. Most of the protagonists are in their mid to late teens or are trying to deal with issues from that point. I would argue that as usual, it is not diverse enough. No one is intersex, no one is ace or aroace, I don't think any of the main characters is trans. But what it does give us is indigenous and disability voices.

Rats by Marlee Jane Ward Lesbian Featuring narrator Michielle and interest Maita. It's so very Melbourne it uses our iconic places and the pace of our CBD to drive the story. It feels a bit like a slice of life for the chaotic Michelle. Honestly, it's quite an effective opening.

In Case of Emergency, Break Glass by Erin Gough Lesbian or Bisexual, Awakening Featuring narrator Amy and interest Reg. Amy is 16 and kissing her boyfriend is uninspiring to her. While catering at a fancy party she meets Reg. Amy and Reg have this perfect little space that is in almost direct opposition to everything else Amy is with in the story. It is all presented so well the awakening, the flight.

Bitter Draught by Michael Earp Gay Featuring narrator Simeon and interest Wyll, with a cameo by Wren an nb Witch. It's a simple-ish find the witch save the girl story. It feels like historical fantasy. It's a well-constructed story short story working well with trope and genre limits, expectations. But it is oh so bittersweet.

I Like Your Rotation by Jax Jacki Brown Lesbian, Disability Featuring narrator Jem and interest Drew. Both Jem and Drew are in wheelchairs, though different kinds of chairs. The story kinda focuses a bit on the otherness and exclusion that can appear even in queer safe spaces. That idea of protection. It ends in a perfect place of both pain and optimism.

Sweet by Claire G Coleman Non Binary Featuring narrator Roxy and their mad bunch of friends. This is set in a dystopia where gender is illegal, of note is race, Roxy and all her friends are indigenous. Sweet as a story is brilliant playing well on role reversal and fear. The characters are captivating, particularly Sweet herself and Roxy. You want to see them all thrive. Even in such a short story, there are indications of developed lore, Coleman has clearly thought it out well.

Light Bulb by Nevo Zisin Non Binary or Agender Featuring a nameless narrator. Light Bulb in one phrase... positively weird. It uses a lot of symbolism and metaphor. This is the kinda one that you just has to be read. But it is good.

Waiting by Jen Wilde Bisexuality, Lesbian, (lowkey Autism) Featuring narrator Audrey and interest Josie. Audrey is autistic and bi, a fangirl, from what I know iconic Jen Wilde. This has one of my fave quips about fandom vs sport. "Can I ask you something?" [...] "What's the difference between us being cosplay, and you going to the footy in your team's jersey?" [...] "I'm genuinely curious about this," she continues. "We're here as fans, some of us cosplay. And you're going to the football as a fan, in your own kind of cosplay" - Josie. I have removed the idiot boys' responses because they are less than useful. This one is coming of age brilliance that really makes me want to read Queens of Geek. It's relatable to an adult that community vibe that cons present like nothing else. Yes, like those who are queer we are outsiders nearly everywhere else but get us together and it is like home. A home made up of a loud, eclectic family.

Laura Nyro at the Wedding by Christos Tsiolkas Gay Featuring narrator Jack and boyfriend Paul. I'm going to be honest this is the story that stayed with me. This is the longest of the stories at 30 pages, Jack and Paul are also the oldest protagonists. Set in Victoria with at least one migrant protagonist, Serbian Paul. I'm going to put the rest under spoiler because this goes heavy fast.The focus of this is the queerness as in the otherness of having a weight over you, something not about you. It's the power of forgiveness, the impact of the other on family units. I know it is a short story but the story does just end.

Each City by Ellen van Neerven Queer Featuring an unnamed narrator and interest Talvan. Set in a slightly dystopian future both main characters are indigenous. The protagonist is running for her safety after gaining government attention as an activist. It's an odd story but I couldn't be more white if I tried, this isn't my culture.

An Arab Werewolf in Liverpool by Omar Sakr Gay Featuring narrator Wafat and interest Noah. Unsurprisingly this is supernatural fiction but also adds the cultural other of Islam. It's fun and will likely speak to people of faith. Not just Islam but other faiths as well. I do like it for its variation, it's nice to have the supernatural element covered.

Stormlines by Alison Evans Non Binary Featuring narrator Marling and interest New. These two use ve and they pronouns respectively. This is not a romance, it is a story of home. It's effective storytelling if slightly predictable. Alison pushes a neutral pronoun agenda which is always a welcome approach. It gives people permission, options, freedom, license.

Questions to Ask Straight Relatives by Benjamin Law Gay/Queer Unlike the other stories in the collection, this isn't a fictional story. It's a mix of a personal story and advice for people of any identity. "Coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex or queer can be a massive relief, but it also usually marks the start of having to answer questions from straight people for the rest of your life."... for the rest of your life. now isn't that the scariest part of this coming out thing. Honestly, this section contains just plain brilliant advice for queer people of identity at any point in their life. I can see why Michael Earp positioned it last in the book.

I've been pushing so hard for Tom to host SNL ... but I doubt he'll ever do it because you have to read off cue cards and it's on live television which is his worst fear because of his dyslexia. Some hosts have been dyslexic but not for while and not since they started relying on the cue cards more than ever in the last 10 years or so. I predict Z will host in the first half of the upcoming season though and hopefully Tom can cameo!!

Plus, SNL has plenty of rehearsals. You're not just going on there cold-turkey and reading a prompter lol. 😅 They do sometimes change things up last minute, which can be a bit nerve-wracking sometimes lol, but the cast is extremely nice and understanding.😊 They know most ppl aren't used to doing stuff off the cuff trying to be funny.

I mean, even the gp loves to just see celebrities on the show hosting and having fun, and most of us don't care if the lines are forgotten, if they mess up, or if they break character. It's actually MORE funny to see the mistakes imo. 😂 If you just go on the show for fun and don't take it too seriously, you'll have a lot of fun.

I would LOVE to see hosting SNL also! 😃 I think it would be an awesome way for more ppl to see more of her playful fun/funny side lol. I actually think Z would be way more nervous to host mainly cuz she's always said that she's really hard on herself and a perfectionist. So I think getting out of her head and just relaxing and having fun with it would be the biggest challenge for her. But it would be great practice for her too! 😉👌🏾

I think Z would have way more experience though, because she's been on Disney shows doing comedy for years, so SNL would prob not be hard for her logistically-speaking, but it's the "live" aspect that she might struggle more with. 🙈

I can only hope that one day my two faves host SNL at some point in their careers haha. 😅🙏🏾

Any c!Dream enjoyers in the chat? The man's horrible and disgusting and I would not hesitate to clock him if I had the chance but I absolutely LOVE how his character was written. He's such an interesting show of a human trying so desperately to not be one. I want to study him under a microscope. His character is FANTASTIC.
