Kuroha/Saeru pretends to join the Mekakushi Dan, while getting intimate with Ene. Shintaro accidentally stumbles in on KuroEne's intimacy and learns about their relationship.

I originally wrote these rambles on 8/29/2024 and 9/1/2024 but forgot to post them here

KuroEne AU: Dialogue Scripts

Based on an idea I had where Ene asks Kuroha about his motives. He then tells her he's been with the Enes of previous routes. Ene dares him to make her feel good, and Kuroha accepts the challenge.

Ene recognizes that she might not be able to ever truly beat him, but that doesn't mean she'll ever stop trying.

Ene reflects on her experiences with Kuroha/Saeru.

Both in terms of art and writing, KuroEne really gets my creative juices flowing, so I'm so grateful to this pair (and my other faves too) for getting me out of the rut of never posting anything. I'm slowly getting more comfortable with posting my art WIPs too.

KuroEne AU: A monologue snippet from Ene. I want to write more scenes like this ^^

I think it's super fun to delve into and explore her feelings and the kinds of insecurities and loneliness she tries to keep beneath the surface.

How in Manga Route 2, she admits to Shintaro that having so much fun spending time with a friend made her start to feel like she didn't deserve it... Weh weh weh ;__;

Kuroha/Saeru uses the pronouns 僕 (Boku, "I") and 君 (Kimi, "You") in Outer Science, and the rougher masc pronouns 俺 (Ore, "I") and お前 (Omae, "You") in the Kagerou Daze manga.

I made him default to using Ore (俺) and Omae (お前) in my own dialogue scripts since the rougher masc pronouns fit an arrogant chara like him, but I imagine that he probably does use 僕 (Boku) and 君 (Kimi) if he wants to appear softer to Ene.

It'd be familiar to her since Haruka and Konoha both use 僕 (Boku) and 君 (Kimi)

I don't have a favourite character to write dialogue scripts for, since I enjoy writing for all of my meow meow mf and wifey faves. But writing villain charas is seriously cathartic for me :)

The dialogue is sooo fun to write for villain/antagonist charas.

I excel at writing my faves most, so other charas' roles tend to be rather minimized/minimal (or mainly just cameos, if they're there), since I usually just focus on the ship itself in my ship AUs.

Kagerou Daze Manga: Ch. 9 - Shintaro and Ene

I decided to put the pages for context just in case my non-KagePro mutuals wanna tune into these rambles ^^

I didn't get to write all of what I wanted today but I got most of it down so I'll just post what I got for now

One of the ideas I had that I forgot to talk about was Ene getting Kuroha to take her to the amusement park. Ene gets excited talking about how, while she was surfing the web earlier when the android body was recharging, that she found out about an Amusement park attraction and wants to go with him.

I imagine that Kuroha decides to play nice prior to the fateful day of August 15th (in which he plans to enact the "plan" or "Tragedy." Like he acts more tame/normal on purpose, and holds back, and decides to go along with his partner's whims.

Ene goes like, "Take me to the amusement park!!!" And she gets excited when he agrees. I assume they're in a Route where he's made enough improvements that the battery can last anywhere from several hours ~ a full day instead of just an hour or few.

At some point during the Amusement park trip, Ene innerly thinks to herself with flustered, panicky thoughts, like, "W-w-wait why is my face getting all red??? Maybe it's because I'm just embarrassed by this guy's teasing??? Yeah!!! That must be it!!!"

She thought of it as going with like, a friend, before, but she thinks about the fact that it's just the two of them here and that this IS the person she has an intimate relationship with and thinks to herself, "HOLD ON!!! IS THIS A DATE!?!?" And cuz Ene is so easy to read, Kuroha can guess her inner turmoil and just gets amused.

Ene pulls him by the arm and makes Kuroha to come along with her to all the amusement park attractions, and he lets her. They probably go on stuff like the mini boat rides and other attractions.

Kuroha just reacts like (...) the whole time while on the roller coaster ride, like the completely calm type that doesn't react at all, he just watches Ene's excited reactions of "Yippee!!!" (>v<)

Kuroha comments that it's good that Ene seems to be enjoying herself, and Ene tells him that she's never had the chance to go to an amusement park before and that she's having LOTS of fun!!! And that she's glad that he is here with her.

Ene goes like, "Come onnnnn, carry me!!!" And he carries his fussy needy gf, while making a teasing quip that she acts awfully spoiled. And she just pouts like "It's fine, it's fine!!!" (>3<)

When he thinks about it, Kuroha picks up on the fact that back when she was Takane, she'd spend most of her time cooped up in her room at home playing video games, and probably didn't get the chance to go to an amusement park (also due to her chronic illness too). So the bright and peppy exterior Ene displays is over compensation for her regrets and an opportunity to do the things she didn't get to before

At one point, Ene wants Kuroha to win prizes for her at a booth/stand selling plushies by throwing darts into a target marker, and Ene tells him she wants him to win prizes for her. When Kuroha throws the darts, it hits the center (red bull's eye) perfectly.

There's probably also a game with hitting moving targets as well, and he hits them all perfectly and wins the prizes that Ene wants. And Ene's like, "Wow~ You're good at this! Throwing darts, I mean!"

And Kuroha tells her, "Naturally. This much is child's play. I am quite skilled at hunting down moving targets..."

He has plenty of practice at it. Ene takes it as a video game thing cuz Ene makes him play video games together and her faves are shooter types, but ahahaha, there's a much darker secret to that. After that, Ene is carrying a fluffy bunny plushie.

It'd also be fun to think about the Amusement Park Scenario with KonoEne too? KonoEne where Konoha just noms on cotton candy while staying close to her, and she just gets all blushy and huffy at him.

Also with the darts scenario, Konoha wouldn't hold back (cuz of how dense and airheaded he is), so him throwing the dart just creates a mini crater in the wall.

Like it plays out much differently with KuroEne ofc.

I was just thinking about it but I really want to write dialogue scripts for an Amusement Park scenario in my KuroEne AU.

Basically Ene tells Kuroha she's always wanted to go to the amusement park (since she didn't get the chance to before) and that she wanted to go with a friend (Shintaro), but said friend was a total shut-in and not the type to want to go outside.

So this is the perfect opportunity for her to go with someone!

Ene has a faint blush on her cheeks and pushes her sleeves together as she goes like, "I've been meaning to ask! I was wondering if you would… take me to the Amusement Park?" And Kuroha agrees to take her.

While there, Ene tells him she's having lots of fun! Kuroha muses to himself about the irony. In Manga Route 1, he ended the MekaDan at this very same park. The irony isn't lost on him.

But it's cute to see Ene enjoying herself and having fun and he finds her behaviour naive and foolish for readily accepting him and trusting him so easily, but also innocent and endearing.

I just had an idea like y'know what would be a fun idea for a KuroEne AU Route.

I just thought about it since, my KuroEne AU routes usually have KuroEne hang out alone together in a secluded/abandoned building or real estate just to themselves.

But I also thought that it WOULD be interesting

If the Mekakushi Dan doesn't get the chance to meet Konoha, but Kuroha pretends to be an Eye Ability user and "joins" them just out of curiosity.

The MekaDan think they've invited a new member, in reality they have the enemy in their hideout. The irony isn't lost on him.

He's good at playing pretend.

Something that he can pull off because he's an Eye Ability snake, he can make his eyes glow red. And he just pretends his Eye Ability is Awakening Eyes

The other Mekakushi Dan members accept him like, "Welcome to the Mekakushi Dan!" (:D)

And upon getting this warm greeting from everyone, he goes from (…) and slowly smirks like, "Thank you for having me."

Like, Kuroha/Saeru pretends to be apart of the Mekakushi Dan and be "one of them" to find new ways to spice up the game and make things fun. It's something different cuz he's usually used to playing the game alone with Ene, now they have "spectators" around them

Though obviously they'll be alone for their intimacy.

Shintaro almost feels relieved to see someone like Kuroha/Saeru that can manage to tease Ene so easily and make her flustered, it's like getting payback or sweet revenge for Ene always teasing him.

I thought of one scenario that'd be fun where it's like… KuroEne are alone in the MekaDan's hideout together, the rest of the members are still out and have yet to come back.

Shintaro comes back earlier than the others (earlier than expected) cuz it's been a long time since he's been in the summer heat (as a shut-in NEET), so he's not used to it.

Shintaro wonders where the others (KuroEne) are while thinking to himself. While checking one of the rooms, he sees that the door is slightly open and catches a glimpse of the view of Kuroha leaning in to kiss Ene through the space in the door that's open.

He just immediately backs away from the door and freaks out innerly to himself. Then Shintaro thinks back on all the instances of Ene actually getting embarrassed/flustered by Kuroha/Saeru's teasing, which is so unlike her usual self, and things start to make sense.

Irt Kuroha/Saeru, he's a Snake so he can sniff things out way better than a human can, he probably smelled the scent of another person in the air when Shintaro came in through the door. But it doesn't matter to him if anyone finds out about their r/s.

Shintaro: (WHAT…. NO WAY!!! THERE'S JUST NO WAY!!! AHHHH! IT'S NOT MY BUSINESS! I DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING!)

Shintaro: (Come to think of it… I just thought it was fun to see Ene being the one getting teased.. I never thought there'd be something like THAT between them!!!)

Shintaro: (BUT I DIDN'T THINK THERE WAS ANYTHING GOING ON BETWEEN THEM… I MEAN!!! THAT ENE!?!? WHO USUALLY ACTS SO SPOILED AND SELFISH!!! SUDDENLY ACTING ALL SHY!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???)

Ene managing to pester and tease Saeru is a huge feat she should feel accomplished. I think it's so funny to imagine Shintaro being the (unfortunate) spectator of KuroEne's shenanigans together.

Ene being bratty on purpose to rile up Saeru is a fun concept :3

Especially when he's usually a more calm/level-headed character so it would take a lot but I think my wife has it in her 👍

something new au where the player tries to push differenet characters to thier limit like lets say toriel accideltaly killed a froggit but made to believe she did the right thing to protect her child toriel i guess is an easy one compared to other characters but if they managed to make sans thier partner in literal genocide who knows what they could do theres the whole thing with them changing sans' code they could do that to other characters as well anything to get them a new result

I love problematic charles every now and then but I'm VEEERRRRRYY picky with how thats presented bc most of the time it feels like its an "either or" situation where he cannot ever be a good person and make stupid decisions and have "evil" tendencies. Its the same case with erik too but hes more easily forgiven since he's an antagonist.

Also how they make Charles evil is what makes or breaks it bc i love "hypocritical when it comes to how and when you use your mind control/you really are a control freak even when you're 'noble' about it" charles but hate "creepy to your own student(s) and unrepentant about being a control freak and not even trying to hide it in your actions. You also love the government's boots for some unholy reason" charles. (The comics can be varying degrees of this and its why i have trust issues with marvel bc idk if im gonna get a good charles or a stupid one. Also sorry for raving in your inbox i hope you're having a good day)

my favorite flavor of Morally Dubious charles is 'has good intentions overall but for one reason or another acts amorally'... i think id like a master list of stories like that if such a thing even exists ... when it's just 'he did something bad that was so obviously bad and hard to justify/consider acceptable under any lens' its not as fun ... not just for the sake of I Like Him but cause i like it when his actions have some room to be like 'alright well i guess i see what you were going for'- doesnt mean it was a GOOD action but yk what i mean.....

Lowkey/Unaware-He's-A Control-Freak-But-Under-The-Guise-Of-Doing-Good charles is also very good.. charles' psychology in those instances is very intriguing to me .... i need to crack his brain open like a walnut ....

Luigi is fine. Really, he is.

He’s fine and he’s poking a sweet cookie that was placed on his plate to remove a little weight from the dangerously-close-to-toppling tower of cookies it came from.

When Merlon said he had snacks prepared for them, he didn't think he meant this much. Plates of cookies, chocolate pasta, hot dogs, fried mushrooms, about three different kinds of cake and two kinds of tarts, parfaits, and pitchers of tea and syrup were all laid out for them to feast on. Luigi doubts they can finish even half of it, despite their party of eight.

“Eat as much as you please.” The lady – Saffron? He didn't get much time to meet anyone in the Flipside– says as she places a steaming hot bowl of spicy soup at the table’s center, “All of you must be starving after an adventure like that!”

Mario is already reaching over to grab another plateful of mushrooms but smiles back at her before continuing. Peach holds her slice of heartful cake and hums as she eats. Bowser shrugs before devouring half of a horsetail tart.

Bleck’s minions seemed to be doing the same, though O’Chunks and Mimi argued over a forkful of pasta even with the abundance of it. Nastasia was quiet, but she nodded, sipping her tea and relaxing afterwards.

On any other occasion, Luigi might have felt like he was having a nice family dinner night.

Merlon lets out a hearty laugh, “I'm sure they are, Saffron my dear. Isn't that right, Luigi?”

Luigi blinks.

He looks at Merlon, then slowly back at his cookie.

Gingerly, he picks it up, nibbling the corner of it. It’s buttery and not too sweet, crispy around the edges but still a little soft in the center. It’s perfect. He should be reveling in the flavor, he should be telling Saffron it’s the best cookie he’s ever had, he should be grabbing ten more and hauling another dozen home for him and Mario to share.

He places it back on his plate, which remained empty save for it.

“…maybe just a little.” He decides after a few more seconds of uncomfortable silence.

“Is it not to your liking?”

He shakes his head, “It’s good. I’m just…”

From Luigi’s perspective, the story goes something like this: He’s at home with Mario until he’s not; he’s at Bowser’s castle and at Bowser’s “wedding” until he isn’t; he’s in another castle trying to escape until he doesn’t; he’s presumably dead but whether that really happened or not is a mystery, and now all of reality is saved, two people go disappear forever, and everyone who remained is here eating snacks.

Okay, so there's a few things he blearily remembers in between, like their journey to the Overthere and his fight with Dimentio, but the rest is just about lost to the slurry of his addled mind.

From the way he’s been dragged around, it’s all lasted maybe a few days for him at most. For everyone else, it seemed closer to a month based on their discussions between forkfuls. That definitely knocked him off kilter.

And, well, he just doesn’t want to acknowledge that in those final moments, he was aware of being mind-controlled. He remembers being fused with the same heart he tried to destroy and a jester who just finished trying to kill him, and he remembers how it felt when he couldn’t control himself as he tried to hurt everyone else.

The worst part, really, is that he knows he hurt them. He knows something bad happened, that he became something willing to decimate everything in its path, but what exactly happened and what exactly he became was completely lost to him.

He was somehow aware and not at the same time, as if a part of him kept shutting off his memory right before the most important parts, leaving him with nothing but brief visions of his attempts to kill his companions.

It’s not much, but whatever is there for him to recall is gut churning enough that he’s been avoiding making any effort to interact with any of them.

He tries his best to ignore the way Bowser only uses one arm to eat everything, vaguely recalling the way he fell when a homing attack hit him while he scaled the floating blocks, arms flailing as he tried to protect the rest of his body from further injury.

He can’t look Peach in the eye when she glances at him, her normally clean dress ripped to shreds in some spots, revealing a few hastily bandaged cuts from when the small yet sharp spinning blocks sliced through her.

And he certainly does not want to think about how heavily bruised Mario’s face is on one side, which came from his new form connecting its fist with his brother. The left side of his face was nothing but an angry red that made Luigi wince just thinking about it.

If things had gone just a bit wrong, a lot of people, especially some of the ones he loves most in the world, could be long dead.

The cookie slips from his hand and falls back to his plate with a clink!

Forget being a little hungry, he’s not hungry at all.

They all turn to look at him as he pushes his chair back with enough force to make it screech like fingers across a chalkboard. He grits his teeth from it.

“Is everything alright, Luigi?” Peach asks, placing her plate back on the table, eyebrows furrowed.

He could barely process the way his hands shook and his body stayed ramrod straight. He swallows the lump in his throat.

“…Yeah. O-Okey-dokey.” He feels sweat beginning to form on his face, “I’m not hungry. So, I’m…I’ll go for a walk instead.”

Merlon, even with his beard and hood covering most of his, is able to mimic Peach's look of concern, “Are you sure? I assume you haven’t eaten much these past few days.”

Luigi nods, but it feels more like his head just shook up and down violently, “I, ah, feel a little dizzy from…all of everything. Fresh air sounds good.”

He can’t think of more excuses to make, so he hurries out the door before anyone can protest.

When the door closes (slams) behind him, he lets out a sigh. Not the most elegant exit, but it will do. He suddenly feels like he’s gone and drank too much coffee, all jittery and nervous like he’s moments away from a caffeine crash. He needs to burn it off, take a few breaths, and avoid eye contact until he feels less inclined to run away.

His memory fails to supply the reason as to why he’s so riled up. While hurting the people he cares for is enough to make him faint from horror, something about his reaction was…even worse. He was forgetting more important incidents that made his nerves taut and his throat shut.

There were a few unexplained injuries on himself that might clue him in on those incidents. A minor electrical burn and a laceration on his hand that he, distantly, knew once had a few glass shards embedded in it were on their way to healing. A couple of rusty screws and a broken screwdriver were in his pocket when he woke up in the Underwhere, so he might have been tinkering with something electric?

There’s also the burns here and there on his body, all still too fresh to not be less than a day old. He can’t even begin to guess where those came from.

And his head ached much more than some of the worse migraines he’s ever had. It was like someone grabbed a hammer, hit him with it, and only made sure to stop short of cracking it open.

To top it all off, his legs faintly felt like there were pins and needles, too.

He’s been tired before. Exhausted, even. But whatever happened in that barely remembered month has left his system in all kinds of wack. He dreads to think about what could have happened to him.

His moment of stress-filled contemplation is broken by the sound of Saffron’s door opening. He already knows who it is, and as relieved as he is to know he’s okay, he really doesn’t want to talk to him right now.

Mario is quiet as he pushes the door shut, a bag full of cookies held in one hand. He offers Luigi a small smile.

“For you.” Mario says, waving the bag in front of Luigi, “You can go on your walk, but I’m sure you’ll be hungry.”

Luigi shakes his head, “No need, bro. I’m really not.”

His older brother frowns, and Luigi feels the guilt make his chest twinge, “When’s the last time you ate?”

“Beats me.” Luigi answers almost instantly. With how little he remembers, he couldn’t tell if he ever ate during any of it. He grimaces when he sees Mario’s frown deepen. That was definitely not the answer his brother was hoping to hear.

“Maybe I should ask Saffron to make something other than snacks…” Mario contemplates.

Luigi reaches for Mario’s arm, maybe to push the bag back to him or to hang it, but his second of contact makes Mario retract his arm so quickly that Luigi flinches.

Mario lightly rests his free arm on top of his other arm, snapping his eyes shut as he hisses in pain.

Something cracks, another murky memory resurfaces - darkness, a heavy swing, a violent crack - and then something horrific clicks.

Luigi holds back the urge to scream it out loud.

The bruises aren’t just on his face. The hit connected with Mario's entire body.

Now much closer to each other, he can’t stop thinking about how uncomfortable it must be for Mario to smile at him when most of his face and body must be aching something fierce.

He should be fussing over Mario and making sure he’s okay, Luigi thinks to himself, just like Mario would for him.

He takes a step back, and then another, and then another one. Mario opens his eyes and Grambi he looks so worried.

Luigi’s voice breaks, “I’m so, so, sorry.”

“Luigi, it’s–”

Luigi turns around, and runs away.

The bag of cookies, now on the ground, was left forgotten.

Fair Game Week 2025 Day 7 - Unlucky | Firsts | Free

“Anyway,” Yang says as mirth runs its course. “Think I’ve had enough excitement for today.”

A little deflated, and probably still exhausted from yesterday, Clover imagines. “How’s your head?” he asks.

Marrow echoes the sentiment, wincing at the thought that laughing so hard might not have been the gentlest thing for her at the moment.

She scoffs at concerned glances, pointedly looking at Clover. “It’s fine. But hey, say hi to my uncle for me. Or better yet, tell him how you tried to make me feel bad for ruining your date with my concussion.”

Clover lets out a mock sigh, accepting the jab. Deserved. But well, since she’s okay and all. He reaches up to tousle blond hair. Earning an offended, if not also entirely shocked, look as Yang shoves at him. Unable to hide a quirk of lips despite her protests. Clover grins in return.

“I’ll tell him you’re superstitious about our relationship being dangerous for your health.”

HI LORE i. miss them as well and rly should do smth w them again one of these days. but ur in luck bc i was sweeping thru my old internship doodle files and theres a good chunk of these i finally have reason to show LMFAO

anyhow these r mostly from the magical girls story ive been rotating in my brain for like? 4 or 5 years now?? but specifically the two mentor figures + the opposing antagonists (id posted the first two before on this blog but not the rest bc favoritism) these were frpm around 2022-23 so 👍

these r nikolai (red) and olivia (blue) !!! theyre childhood friends and formerly trained together under the same mentor before they got dragged into a larger, sinister plot/organization and nikolai defecting from them and just general disastrous yuri breakup dozens dead many injured etc. olivia was overly devoted to their mentor and turned a blind eye to the truth of what they were doing convincing herself that shes in the right for doing so! and the shock from nikolais abandoning her festered into immense hatred and theyve been at each others throats ever since <3 now nikolai has a mentee of her own that she simultaneously uses and sends off on missions to lowkey sabotage that organization. said mentee is the lil phantom thief girl ive drawn here and then but i honestly have no clue if ive posted her all that much either. anyways throughout the story they kinda bite each other and also kiss at some point but not before trying to slit each others throats and gouge their eyes out. the usual routine

heres brook and kane!!! brook is the main four's mentor, and old friends w nikolai. theyre somewhat of a secluded and otherworldly being living quietly among humans as an apothecary in the woods, and assists/watches over the gang!!kane along w olivia is one of the subleaders of the evil organization seeking to revive a fallen god to bring upon a new order upon the world but honestly hes not all that into it. he hates the world anyways and is bored all the time even with his extra and dramatic attitude so wouldnt it be kinda fun to bring it to ruin and renew it from there. at least til the magical gang kinda manage to make him come around and he becomes a key ally for them!!! plus he has beef with nikolai since who knows when and before his reformation she kinda would send her little mentee on "errands" to ruin each of his plans. and because of such she happens to run into the main gang often before they eventually befriend her as well (but not without heck of a lot of conflicts on their end too). post reformation though he kinda just pops by now and then with some new intel for them to use + becomes utterly smitten at first sight when he met brook and is now in fervent pursuit of them even with their indifferent ass. brook takes advantage of this by making him do near impossible errands for some rare ingredient or another but somehow he always comes back to their doorstep with the biggest smile on his face bleeding from every part of his body and cheerfully handing them the coveted item. and many such cases. they go drinking w nikolai the same night and vent to her how he would not leave their ass alone and she just laughs at him

Kuroha/Saeru Rambles

Me: It was somewhere in my notes but I forgot where it was so I'll just write this out again (until I find it again)

But basically I was thinking about how the thing with Saeru is that Azami's wish changing from her desire to know herself (the wish that created him and gave his existence/purpose meaning in the first place) changed to wanting to be with her family forever (so he felt like that purpose was taken away), as Mary states in MR2.

So, basically, he wants to be seen and acknowledged (because he fears fully disappearing and losing his sentience if he's fully forgotten)

And I was just thinking about how this does come full circle in the context of a Kuroha ship AU

While he works to further his goals to reset the timeline for his immortality, he entertains himself with exploring new possibilities in the Routes by messing around (including carnal pleasures, etc.), and the way he asserts himself into his S/O's life and sets up meetings/encounters to seduce them into falling for his temptations, like, now his existence becomes "necessary" to someone.

I think it’s incredibly interesting to think about, because in my KuroEne AU, Kuroha/Saeru gained a bit of a semblance of humanity, and a very human-like irony/contradiction of still being willing to “love” a human, despite him both loving and hating humanity.

In my KuroEne AU, Saeru Hebi lashes out against humans/the world because his existence was eventually forgotten/unneeded by Azami anymore and lost his sense of purpose when Azami's wish changed, and decides to rectify this by working towards his own plans (to avoid losing his sentience and thus gain a form of pseudo immortality through the time loops), and have his existence become "necessary/needed" to someone by making his S/O crave him and become addicted to him

Ofc he's unaware/not cognizant of the fact/can't grasp why his existence was deemed unecessary in the first place. So he gained a will and an identity, but lost his sense of purpose. And he resents this fact - losing a purpose.

Ironically, with him (Saeru) gaining an objective, he gained the human-like struggle to survive and preserve itself.

In my AU, he knows he wants to make his S/O addicted to him. So he is aware of that at least. He’s just not cognizant of his own flaws

I was talking last night with my partner about how a lot of people ship Aayla Secura with HER clone Commander Bly bcs I saw an edit of them on tiktok (and how that makes it even more fucked up that she's killed by her clones during Order 66 0_0) and if Brea was a canon character fans might see them as like...parallels of each other, or like as a cautionary tale and whatnot

But my partner ALSO pointed out that there's probably also some doomed yuri believers who would ship Brea and Aayla together cause I think they'd definitely interact and be good friends!! 👀 Brea/Rex is canon ofc but there would DEFINITELY be some Breyla truthers out there and the edits to 'good luck, babe' or 'casual' would go INSAAAANE 🙏

Kralsei is first of all, as we all know, gross as heck! The only problem I don't have is him being a goat monster because well.. Toriel and Asgore, Kris' parents and... well... most obvious example not really best example, are both goat monsters... But Ralsei looking the same as Asriel immediately makes it gross again! And the thing with Ralsei is... we have no idea on anything with him, is he sorta like a Darkworld version of Asriel, what Kris wishes they could be, a support/tutorial character MADE to be that by Gaster or whoever else? Basically, no option makes it good... Very gross, we just can't know the details, but it's just... overall weird, and gross. Also for both characters it is NOT healthy. Both def are having an identity crisis as the time of Deltarune. Ralsei being a darkner with his purpose and the prophecy... Kris being literally unable to consent to it because of us, actively seeming just.. kinda uncomfortable with him.... But something I find absolutely fascinating is how the game DOES put them together in "romantic" situations! Ralsei so often offering to hug, Ralsei being so nice, to amount of options to be especially nice, and Ralsei bending over backwards to be nice... It's all just... concerning. The game puts the two in a romantic light at times, and following these... Definitely does not help. Kris cannot set boundaries nor consent and the most worrying thing is... Ralsei may know that? And also... Ralsei may not be appealing to Kris in these situations. Maybe trying to make the player like him? It's weird and Kris is put in a very uncomfortable position with 0 control... Kralsei follows the theme of lack of control! It's interesting and... parallels the romantic tones of a certain route...

Snowgrave

It's a forced romantic thing, pushing Kris and Noelle together, taking advantage of Noelle's trust, and putting Kris under distress because you're curious, because you want to see more of Noelle and don't care about Kris... Looking at Kralsei it's similar, most people like the cuteness of it, look at how nice Ralsei is! Oh I just loveeee Ralsei, and Kris well, they're the main character, the protagonist, our self insert, so it's fineeee! And in this... ignores Kris. This meta narrative of how Kris and Ralsei are pushed together in the same way weirder ships are shipped, and especially paralleling Chara X Asriel. Kralsei is fascinating in the way that it's terrible for both. Kralsei is gross as hell, and fascinating in the same way Snowgrave's Kris X Noelle is! And while I... avoid all that, because again, gross as hell, it's fascinating.

TLDR

Kralsei is gross, fascinating in a macabre way, and parallels Snowgrave's Kris x Noelle, and more meta wise but Chara X Asriel in Undertale

I'm nodding. abt asgore and toriel also being goat monsters, papyrus mentions them looking alike, but it's easier to brush this off when They Don't look alike in a lot of ways. they just Are the same species. ralsei's hatless sprites Really resemble toriel and (ut) asriel with the horns and Just Fur Not Hair. noelle says he looks like asriel and until we see him in deltarune, I'm inclined to believe her. plus the His Name Being An Anagram For Asriel thing. but also yeah i. don't care fro kri/selle. i actively do not like it in snowgrave settings. I don't understand people's deal w wanting to put kris in bad romantic situations like this. i do feel like the game has something to say about it but the fanbase just Is Not listening.
