weird 2 say but sometimes i wish i was more into hobby/medium so id have an excuse or wasteless purpose to get more of it. Like. Wish I had purpose within watercolor illustration and as a medium in general so I could get those fancy artisinal watercolors just bc they look so beautiful

I'm glad I'm not the only one who prefers Vincent with Mary and has a low opinion of Coral. I wouldn't have disliked Coral if she hadn't been so damn possessive of him, even trying to keep him from his own children. Victoria is practically a saint IMO for forgiving Coral/admitting she did give Vincent joy.

Exactly!! Victoria was brought up right, for sure. I know about her possessiveness, even when Vincent began a friendship/close relationship (non-sexually, I believe) and Coral (although she was regularly sleeping with young women) forced him to end the friendship, and Victoria said it broke his heart and made him so sad.

Coral was also saying she had little to no money, and with Vincent being such a wonderful human being, purchased everything for her, only to find out, after she died, that she had millions stashed away.

I remember seeing a card/letter Vincent wrote to his daughter, Victoria, giving her some money because ITS HIS DAUGHTER, and he would have to write, "Keep the check between us, so you know who doesn't find out." Or something along those lines.

Mary and Vincent in my honest opinion, were a power couple and so fucking cute together. I just admire them so much. And the fact that Vincent remained such close friends with Mary, sending her postcards, calling her, etc., really speaks volumes of their continuing relationships.

Luckiest women, indeed.
