ok yall heres my thoughts for a potential olympics au.

price boxes. 100 percent. no clue why but he just has the Vibes. it’s definitely not his first olympics. he’s getting close to retiring from the olympics (which no is not an old man joke, they genuinely just have a very small age window to be like in their prime to compete. simone biles is 27 and she’s considered on the older side for olympic athletes).

gaz does gymnastics. look at him man he just looks like a gymnast. it’s his first olympics and while he’s not really an underdog he’s not very well known. he is however definitely getting the stephen nedoroscik treatment (immediately becoming the country’s sweetheart, having tons of fan edits, etc).

soap plays soccer (IT’S CALLED SOCCER 🦅🦅🇺🇸🇺🇸) as a goalie and again, scotland’s sweetheart. they eat him UP. i mean look at him why wouldn’t they. he and gaz become immediate friends in the village and post online together. they make jokes on tiktok about getting freaky on the cardboard beds (ilona maher and nicole heavirland style) and no one ever shuts up about it. he’s new to the olympics as well.

ghost plays rugby because he’s massive and angry. i feel like this is his second olympics and he’s lowkey still mad his team lost last time but he’s pretending not to be 😭 he doesnt participate much in the dicking around, but since he, price, and gaz are all team england he gets spotted in some of the online shenanigans (can u tell i pay more attention to the athletes goofing off online than the actual games)

farah i feel does beach volleyball. shes tall (5’8” which is crazy because she looks SHORT next to some of the other characters) so good for volleyball, and i’d imagine urzikstan’s team would unfortunately be pretty small considering. yk. so they might only have enough athletes for beach volleyball since it only requires 2 players. im imagining this to be set in a world where farah wasn’t leading the ulf but the occupation and stuff still happened, but it’s over and urzikstan is slowly healing again. throughout the competition farah is very vocal about her pride for her country and she talks about her brother and parents, and says that she’s competing in honor of them. she also becomes one of those athletes that everyone roots for no matter where theyre from, simply because of a) how good she is, and b) the way she speaks about her family and her country, and how emotional it makes people.

Kinda crazy how the crossover proves why there shouldn't have been one in the first place. Baki and kengen are very different but constantly get grouper together. Like yea, there might be a few similarities/references when it comes to kengen with baki, but like they are both so different, especially for them to take place in the same universe. Age is weird in eqg when it comes to sunset beacuse if i rember correctly there was this comic about sunsets past with celestia (i dont rember if in the comic her family was mentioned)

In that comic twilight apeard as a foal and sunset was definetly older than twi

And she then goes trough the portal and turn into a teen but in the comic she is shown to be the same age as in the movie....but aparently she didnt age?

Thats what always bother me about eqg

Ps: this is my long winded way of saying i want to see a young adult twilight and a sunset in her 40s interact

Yeah that's primarly a fault of the circumstances of writers forcing the highschool teenage girl circumstance into the idea of EQH when the characters are meant to be adults xD Its a weird thing, the comics and the show contradict each other I'd jsut write it that Sunset was a pupil for much longer bc Celestia adopted her, so Celestia watched her grow-- But when Sunset was out of the picture the Princess just got the first best option around whcih was twilight, ergo theyre similar age (its what I'm doin for my fogotten friendship rewrite)

having them ALL be teens is just weird. Rarity has a franchise. Wtf Sunset in her 40s I think I hauve covid

CLEARLY these two are my favorite of the ROR line up as I’ve only been able to create redesigns I truly love of them, every body is… kinda goofy looking ngl.

I know there designs are so different that it’s kinda crazy but I literally love them so much!

If you don’t know already Morgies the tall one with a red mullet and Hook is the buffer one with a beard.

I’ve explained my choices in design for Hook but that was literally my first post sooo…

Facial features are based off of the actors face normally. You can see that clearer in my Carlos design, but Hook has Colleys thicker eyebrows and Morgie has Lindell’s faint freckles. However if you look below you’ll see just… how completely changed they are:

But my designsfor both are based of of these two preexisting depictions of Morgana and Hook respectively.

Btw something about Live action Hooks is that they just… EAT SO FRICKIN BAD LIKE WTF. This has got to be some universal rule that a live action Hook variant must eat and be so so cool at ALL TIMES. ( for me it’s less about sexy and more about they look so cool)

More of my changes also come from character design things. Like the exaggerated lashes and visable water lines. I like to differentiate noses, eyes, eyebrows, and chins because I feel that’s something that really helps combat same face syndrome. It also helps when I make related characters, so they don’t look like carbon copies, I’ll trade some features in and out and swap them around. I give most characters baggy eyes, because I like the definition it gives them.

I also like to make color palettes similar and opposing, and add some traits that show small insights to the character. Hook and Morgie have warm color palettes for their clothes, however Hooks skin is warm, while Morgies is cold, a sign to his unnatural human form and his association with necromancy ( tho when he was just learning how to hold this form as a youngling he was much paler, now he has spent so much time with real mortal people he has learned to blend in with more realistic skin tones and knows how to flush his skin as if he has blood under it like them)

As a fun little thing tho they swap this theme with their eyes. Hooks eyes are cold and icy blue, while Morgies are chocolate. Of course even though his natural eyes are more like a yellow snakes eyes they are still warm yellow to Hooks cold blue. And they share the same taste in jewelry to opposite the other couple in their group. Hook and Morgie wear gold as their preferred choice of color for jewelry . Maleficent and Hades wear silver. Uliana wears wtv tf she wants, she doesn’t care. Also Hook and Morgie wear warm colors where as Hades and Mali wear cool colors. (Clothing is different from skin, so even tho Morgies flesh form isn’t natural and can never have the right look of skin fully he can still just wear normal clothes) Again Uli don’t care and wears what she wants to look as cool as she wants.

Here their ages are 19 and 20, with Morgie being older, and Hook is the shorter one during this time because, again, Morgies form is meant to be more unnatural due to his unorthodox creation, and even though my art is a little squished, Hook is the 2nd tallest of their group( making Morgie very abnormally tall) .

However there’s a 15 year gap where Morgie had been terrorizing his cousin Archie of Camelot and his chief warlock Marvin Merlinson and he forgets to age his human form. I’m giving him a cool gold armor set like Morgana from Troll hunters so that’s basically what he wears for like 15 years. So when he reunites with his old friends Hook has grown really tall and got a little grey, so before he gets out of his armor he has to change his form real quick so it doesn’t freak his friends out that he still looks like, mid 20s and theyre all late thirties pushing early forties. But he desires to stay shorter then Hook because that’s new and… intriguing.

Also Morgie is now also British like Hook!! (Arther is literally a BRITISH story! Why isn’t Morgie a CELTIC LAD) like I know the whole thing is that Brit’s suck with their plain ass beans with toast and black fucking pudding ( despicable shit 0/10 would not recommend) but King Arther and half sister are so cool, everyone was stupid for not knowing who Morgana Le Fay is 😤

Hook is from Oxfordshire and Morgie was “born” in Cornwall but raised in the kingdom of Avalon. (Don’t ask about why England exists in the same world as Auradon)

id imagine alpha rose having a similar kind of tense relationship with alpha jade. possibly changing her mind about her after she dies mirroring her beta counterpart.

pre cascade, they literally had like the one convo plus u know how they seemed like they acted like eachother’s roles, rose being a witch and jade the seer. theyre so similar but i think since it was probably the case alpha jade took the role of her mentor out of the blue, because of both of their stubborn personalities, rose would ask wtf her deal is inserting herself in her life. shes already got things under control after all (wonk).
