affogato cookie would watch with amusement. he would watch with a light smirk hidden by his sleeve as you carefully sort the gummy snacks by color into small bowls. he might occasionally ask to help, but he usually is just happy with sitting back and watching you sort the gummies (and maybe occasionally stealing one when you aren’t looking).

red velvet cookie would be confused. he would directly ask you why you’re doing something like this, what was the point? he wasn’t judging you, of course not, but he was just curious. he only hums when you tell him you can’t eat the snacks if they’re not sorted. afterwards, whenever he spots you sorting your snacks again, he’ll wordlessly sit down next to you and begin helping you, even if you try to tell him you can do it yourself (chiffon always wants to help too, you and red velvet always have to end up shooing the poor cake hound away).

honestly, i think licorice cookie would probably do the same or at least something similar. when he spotted you sorting your snacks by color for the first time, he was a bit surprised, but definitely amused. he would jokingly ask you if you needed any help, and if you agreed, he would sit besides you with a smirk on his face (and probably steal a good handful). if you denied, he would simply let out a lighthearted huff and walk away. so yeah, you better let him help you.

dark cacao cookie is another someone who is confused. he tries to ask you what the point of sorting them is, but you insist that you have to sort completely before you even think about eating them! after seeing how persistent you were, he decided to leave you be. as long as you’re happy with it, he doesn’t really mind. in fact, whenever he sees you pull out your bag of snacks, he tries to convince you that you don’t have to sort it yourself, he can have his servants do it for you! so just take a break, please?

"Come lick it off me," he grins, stalking forward.

"Behave," you playfully dismiss, wiping it with your thumb and licking the crumb of batter. 

And as you waited for your goods to cook, you and Peter danced around the small kitchen- your hands in his larger ones as he guided you with little, shuffle-like steps, slowly swaying to the music.

You've done hcs in the last for ponys seasonal depression, but maybe some hcs for papercut as adults celebrating the holidays at the Curtis house (with the pookie shepards pulling up💗💗) and ponys having hard time and curlys subtly helping him the best he can as to not make a huge deal out of it in front of everyone?? I feel like at one point pony would rest hos forehead on curlys shoulder and it would just be their little moment as curly continues talking with people

•ok SO, past few holidays its either they werent able to go cause something always popped up or even if they did, someone else wasnt there for some reason, so it just wasn’t a complete holiday, but this year there was no distractions and everyone was available!!! pony was so happy and it just rubbed off on curly and thats bc he has winter seasonal depression, on TOP of that hes hmesick, so thats kind of a new feeling, boooo👎🏽👎🏽

•curlys also not doing the best bc he just doesnt like winter cause it makes him more homesick (for haiti and tim n angela) and he just hates the cold, plus he has a love hate relationship w it getting dark earlier, but seeing the other happy makes the other more upbeat, so theyre like bouncing off of each other!!!

•literally the days leading up to it, they were planning on things to do together, like lil kids the night before a field trip!! what cutiepies

•pony was telling curly all the things he used to do w during the holidays, especially w his parents, dally, and or johnny, curly knew pony was nostalgic and just liked hearing the stories, does he wish he coulda been there?? yes, but this aint bout him rn

•getting there curly noticed pony was like wayyyy more up beat, he was helping and going around and its like, he knew pony was only acting like this cause this was an equivalent for a high for him, like its more adrenaline than anything, but it wasnt BAD, hes just happy so he let pony do his thing

•bc ponys spent a good long few months w curly, i think this is around the time he accidentally ignores curly for a bit, to spend time w his family, and curly gets it, hes lowkey doin the same, theyre both w that!!! theyre adults about it, no need to have ur eyes on each other 25/8

•however pony had a habit of just, still thinking about the past and not actually enjoying the moment, so curly always has to pull pony in to enjoy, ponys sitting watching ppl bake???pony get ur ass in there, ponys taking the pics of everyone else but not himself??? get in the frame u loser

•curly gives pony the “r u ok” look to pony even when across the room as a check in, if ponys not curly keeps an arm around him so pony doesnt go completely in his mind either that or they go outside for some air

•sometimes curlys PURPOSELY dumb, just for his own entertainment and as much as they know each other, there r momwnts where pony cant tell, and these r one of the times where thats helpful, curly comes over w a fucked up looking cookie and another one w a weiner so they can eat em together and ponys smiling!! he gives curly a look and grin of “r u serious” and curly knows hes succeeded

•curly will tooottalllyyyy stay a couple days over w pony if he wants to stay over for a couple more days, curly doesnt mind a bit, even encourages it, if pony doesnt ask, curly will ask if he wants to anyways

•”y r u guys alone in ponys old room” “we were just talking, lol” whole time pony was losing energy being around everyone and wanted to b alone for a sec, they were sitting in silence and curly came up w that lie

•and ur so right, that would happen!!! curly wasnt rlly looking at pony, he just felt him do that and just went w it, pony felt like everything kinda slowed down, but he was fine, for the first time that whole month!!!

no bc in the most recent part I just kept screaming at sunwoo "WHAT ARE WE DOING. WHAT ARE WE DOINGGGGGG" look I'm not gonna sit here and lie and say that I haven't been in a similar situation but actually DAMN. THAT WAS SO INSANE HES UNHINGED AND UNFORTUNATELY I'm his biggest fan.

their dichotomy is a very fun one to write for me because they're both kinda... wrong. LMAO. they're both right and wrong in different ways. she could make all of this a whole lot easier if she just accepted the writing on the wall, or flat out be like ENOUGH!! but she's the queen of fence sitting and let's be honest... sure seems to be enjoying his wild antics so... can you even really blame him for carrying on a pushing the envelope? 🤔

i think that if i were to go in depth about my headcanons and lore for them this post would be a bit long so heres some of the simpler ones X]

Cheddar Cheese

• cheddar is very. VERY tall. like 6'9" (funny number). Makes it worse because sometimes they like to wear heels

• uses all pronouns but mainly they/them :3 male/female honorifics

• a lesbian. Question mark ? still debating

• rogueforts cousin!!! Survived the blue cheese manor fire (which happened when it was just a teen)

• related to above if you know anything about my roguefort lore they grew up in a Not so great rich snobby family!! they were buxton blue cheeses child which makes cheesecake their sister as well. Dont ask where the accent came from let me have this JZVDKFBDK

• intersex and bigender - when growing up they were forced to fit into either "boy" or "girl" and didnt exactly fit either stereotype biologically or through their behavior so their parents were very frustrated with them. Turns out theyre both!!!

• it started as a joke because of ratatouille but. i am a firm believer in ratmouse cheddar. are they a rat? is he a mouse? both? Neither? no matter what they hide ears under their hat and paws under her gloves and a rat tail under their coat because i think its fun💥💥they should have rat/mouse features as a treat

• they have legs that are way too thin and not at all proportinate to tjeir body. i cannot stand drawing them because of this.

Macaroni

• shorter than cheddar but still on the taller side!! 5'11"

• uses he/him pronouns but he doesnt really care what pronouns are used on him. fem honorifics or anything he doesnt mind that either

• older sister of my oc maccy cheese cookie (who was made before mac and cheddar were introduced HXBFJ). macaroni is 6 years older than them

• parents just Straight up abandoned him and his sibling as kids!! i could explain this one further but probably in another post

• it may be hard to believe but he is older than cheddar

• CANNOT STAND unsolved mysteries. having unsolved cases or puzzles makes him physically ill and he cant stand to eat or sleep when he doesnt know the solution

• related to above he despises cliffhangers and surprises and if he cant read a mystery novel in one full sitting it will EAT HIM ALIVE

• also related. Loves math! fun little puzzles that (almost) always have one logical solution. he does NOT however like math problems with multiple/no solutions

• easily startled by sudden loud noises or actions

• a lil chubby!!

as for my mac n cheese (ship) headcanons,, i cant explain them very well without context to my Full lore for the two but heres my attempt HVDKFB

• started as INCREDIBLY one sided (cheddar had romantic feelings for mac while mac had feelings of. Hatred)

• cheddar is incredibly easy to fluster because shes not used to being on the Recieving end of affection (cough cough for curse reasons cough)

• cheddar is also incredibly touch starved (cough cough for curse reasons cough)

• macaroni can just. Use cheddar as a bed. they are so fucking tall and wide he can just snooze on them

• they are so doomed toxictragic yuricore im going to kill them

also might i offer up: gator wearing his love’s clothes all day while theyre at work (if their clothes ever did fit him they sure dont now) and he is snacking near constantly until they get home💖 they walk in to see him in their sweatpants that sit low on his hips and bite at the underside of his love handles, one of their fav tshirts stretched over gator’s belly with a little slice of creamy white fat on show where the hem doesn’t quite cover him up :3 they can’t even scold him for stretching their clothes out while he’s smiling so soft in their direction and running his fingers soothingly over his own full tum to welcome them back from their hard day - 🐶

This is so !!!!! Cute !!!!!!!! He !!!!!! Heeeeee!!!!!!!!

His soft little smile and mumbled ‘missed you’ and his love can’t say or think anything even remotely bad, who cares that those clothes are stretched outs of shape, puppy looks so so adorable!!!

And sometimes gator falls asleep on the couch, on hand stuck up under the tight T-shirt to hold his belly while he naps. And he gets woken up to kisses on his cheeks and praises in his ear and it’s so so special. Maybe his love pushes the last of the cookies past his lips, waking him up with treats, the ones he didn’t finish before dozing off. Grabbing handfuls of his doughy hips and kissing over his belly, over the pink stripes and softness. Gator waking up slowly, squirming and giggling at the attention.

And his love asks is he’s hungry, if ‘puppy wants their dinner’ while prodding at the round dome of his belly. Gator pouting and nodding, not really that hungry but he wants to sit with his love and eat what they cook for him, wants to feel full and sleepy and cuddle on the couch. And his sweetheart kisses away his pout pulling him up to look at the damage done on their clothes. Patting the creamy skin that just can’t be covered anymore. Gator moaning and following his love to the kitchen. Kneeling while they cook, being fed spoonfuls of things here and there and it all tastes so good. Feels so good to have his cheek or hair petted as his love walks past. Calling him a ‘good puppy’ for being so obedient.

And he keeps being obedient, eating what they serve him, panting and red faced because he’s been so greedy, eaten so much already. But he just keeps being called a good boy, and good pup, his love never letting a hand leave his stomach the whole meal. So he keeps eating, keeps being good ❣️

i have no sense pf moderation when it comes to snackie and will eat an entire bag of liquorice in one sitting so take this with that particular grain a salt but also everything tastes better if you eat two at a time its just science. two pringles tastes infinitely better than one. you get more cronch you get more flavour and some a the powder gets stuck in batween em so you dont instantly lick it off. two mentos chews better than one. two cookies better than one eat em at the same time chomp. two kokindjes better than one one is too small tastes like nothing so much as a singular liquorice molecule but if you get two you can squash em together like hamburger buns and theyre delish. you cant eat just one borrelnoot thats crazy talk but three is decadent two at a time is best. i am correct about this
