Jay: umm, i sorta have a dillema over this. im thinking either korean or he's from somewhere in the gobi desert like mongolia or inner mongolia (its a province in china btw). korean bc the entertainment and beauty industry as well as the student and work culture kinda fit him. but somewhere in the gobi desert is nice bc the desert is where he grew up. maybe he's korean but grew up in a mongolian-chinese environment but yeah, im not too sure about him 🤷‍♀️. im leaning more towards korean but yeah, not sure.

Wyldfyre: i um... this was very hard. first of all, she's not gonna be asian since i couldn't find a good enough area in asia and well, im pretty sure she's not from ninjago so she doesn't have to be asian. so, i got maori in northern new zealand but 1. i know nothing about the maori people 2. it might be disrespectful to portray them like that. and 3. er, the geography is kinda off. where she grew up looks very desert-y and volcanic. i think a more suitable reigon is in south america towards the coast like peru or chile but um i know even less about the those reigions than new zealand. plus, it has the same first 2 problems i listed earlier. in case u do wanna know a bit, i have some cursory rambles below. but pls dont take every detail down here to heart yet since theyre tentative!! very likely gonna change along the way.

full name: Rhy'savyn "Rhys" Alunan.

in the 1st/2nd timelines tho, they're only known as rhy'savyn (rhys for short) and doesn't have a surname. this is because they're like, half-human, half-outworldian species. however, they never got to know their human father in the first two timelines. they've always wanted to, but smth smth unfortunately lost contact with him?? they have the displeasure of eventually learning that he passed away later on in their lore, and so they live in their respective realm in outworld.

however bc of their half-human nature, they're seen a bit as an outcast of their species (i actually created the species! they're called Silvarians, and visually they're like a combo btwn dryads and wood elves. so yah, nature-based powers and jazz like that. not on like the same scope of power as Cetrion but u get what i mean) due to having a lesser affinity to magic. their mother and some relatives/friends are like the only few people nice to them, but rhys had to work quite hard to earn even a nick of respect.

1st/2nd timelines, Rhys's kind is actually sorta... brinking extinction? not quite sure how to back it up quite yet but I can imagine Shao Kahn's usurping of the throne definitely worsens that scenario.

in Liu Kang's new era tho, he obviously says "nah that's not happening" and basically the Silvarians are thriving again!! woohoo!! we love a guy trying his damn best to give everyone a happy destiny. he also gives his timeline's version of Rhys connection to their Earthrealm side/family, ergo their father also doesn't die and they kinda both live and visit between Earth and Outworld. hence, this Rhys is more like. chill (lack of better word) and obviously is much more happier and energetic, yada yada. this is also where Rhys gains their surname.

they still have to deal with being treated somewhat differently for being half-human and having lesser magic affinity, but they're not straight-up outcast i can imagine. i have a hc that their mother was a victor in a prior tourny, hence ppl in Silvaria try not to fuckin mess with Rhys anyways. though, it still happens.

i'm still trying to decide Rhys's fighting style but i settled on their current ones in MK1 timeline being eskrima (philippines-based martial arts. also i do recall it was Quan Chi's fighting style throughout like 5 games) and kuntau. (chinese martial arts practiced in SE asia)

(icyww yes Rhys is filipino on their human side. voiceclaim would definitely be vanille velasquez aka Neon's VA from VALORANT. although Rhys has like, probably deeper of a voice.)

they also actually do archery, but i'd imagine that'd probably make up like a bare amt of their moveset (their bow can actually turn into the dual blades they use in their eskrima fighting style) and would probably be smth they show off more in an x-ray or fatal blow. or they likely do use different weapons in past timelines, but that i'll decide soon LMFAO

im a girl, my prefered pronouns are she/they, INTP 9w1. the house i would be in is ravenclaw.

im filipino and chinese. im 5’2 and my skin is like a medium-light tone. i have black hair with curtain bangs and it goes a bit past my shoulder. i have brown eyes, theyre not dark but not light either, and i wear glasses that tend to stay at the tip of my nose. for my style, i wear a lot of sweaters or jackets, cropped shirts, and jeans with either converse or docs. i prefer dark, muted, or neutral tones over brighter colors. my style is kinda like the downtown girl aesthetic.

things i enjoy are reading, listening to music, playing video games, watching movies, and studying. my favorite books are schoolgirl by dazai osamu and our happy time by gong jiyeong. i dont read as much as i did before, but i do it here and there. ive been really interested in japanese literature and also manga, though, and ive always loved the works of dazai osamu and junji ito. i listen to music almost all the time since it sort of blocks out everything when it gets too loud. i wear my headphones even if im not listening to music since simply having it there kind of comforts me (i also have really bad sensory issues since im autistic. its not only with hearing but all of my senses in general). i listen to a variety of artists, but my favorites are laufey, mitski, lamp, tyler the creator, and childish gambino. besides listening to music, i also play the piano. i play a lot of video games, but its mainly genshin and osu, but i love horror and mystery games. its similar with movies, i love horror and psychological horror, mystery, and action. studying is what i enjoy the most even if it sounds odd. i love learning new things especially if its something im interested in.

personality-wise, im a very quiet and calm person, but im also very observant. i dont talk to a lot of people, but when i find someone interesting, i’ll most likely talk to them first. it also takes me a while to grow comfortable towards people depending on how they are. but once i get comfortable with someone, i become more talkative. i go on and on about what i find interesting and my passions. im also a good listener and im willing to listen to people ramble to me as much as i do to them. im open with my friends venting to me and i tend to only listen since im not the best at comforting people, but if they need it, then id try my best to comfort them. i have a really difficult time expressing emotions. i wouldnt call myself emotionless, i feel a lot of emotions to the point where it can be overwhelming for me sometimes, but expressing them it very awkward for me. im intelligent and i love all kinds of science (its my hyperfixation), but i despise english and history. im not bad at either of them, i just dont find them at all interesting.

just random facts abt me: i have the worst memory its actually concerning, im the youngest in my family i have two older siblings (a sister who im extremely close with and a brother), i love animals especially cats, i love the sky and i always take pictures of it.

so the basic premise of the nightmare squad is a group of highschoolers that come together based on similair intrests to investigate their towns spooky shenanigans, it connsists of 5 characters:Quinn Archard (they/she), Sol Monet (he/him), Jamie Whitlock (he/they), Rowan Williams (any pronouns, and Ana Valen! (she/her)

Quinn joined because of their intrest in true crime

Sol's mom and younger brother were killed years ago and the police said it was a drunk driving accident but he thinks thats bullshit so joined to possibly get some answers

Jamie's obsessed with the idea of ghosts and spirits

Rowan works for the school newspaper and adores horror movies

Ana also works for the school newspaper and shes mainly in charge of notetaking for the group

It doesn't really have any romance however they do have a very found family dynamic that i adore

A random headcanon: That shes filipino! And also that Vriska takes a liking to her and makes comparisons between the both of them since theyre similar as light players and having a rocky relationshio with their mom which is why Vriska and Rose tend to buttheads alot because of their pride.

General Opinion over said character: I only came to appreciate Rose lately when I realised that I'm way too alike with her and started being in denial, shes a really fun character and I hate what the epilogues and hs2 have done for her because if it keeps up i feel like shes going to become like dirk for me, a character that i really admired and really projected onto that it hurt so much when people started hating him and when he was depicted not like he was in canon.

my dnd ocs which im probably just going to refer to as my greenwood ocs from now on have been through a lot of changes, including their names. they've been through a LOT of changes. like....i mean A LOT. but specifically lupin and haru have been through the most change

Lupin very briefly had 'Lucian' as a name, although i scrapped it entirely

his name now, and officially, is Lupin Forstner

i've written additional lore for him that his REAL birthname is Hirsch. while living with family, he went by the name of Hirsch Donne

Hirsch means deer, and donne means brown

he heavily disliked the family he lived with, and so as an act of separation once he got away from them, he changed his name fully. at first it was Hirsch to Lupin, and after he met Haru, the two of them changed their last names together

Haru now has a canon last name BEFORE adopting Forstner as his surname

Valmorida used to be his family surname. it meant 'valley of the forest field'. The origin of this name is a little iffy, but my research says it's Cebuano, which means its a filipino last name. am i projecting myself onto my oc? yes. even though my family only speaks tagalog and ilocano

this last name is strange, as its components (val - mori - da) are spanish (val) and japanese (mori - da), however the full name is filipino

i thought it was very fitting for haru because 1. the meaning 2. he's filipino 3. despite that, the origin of his first name is japanese

after meeting Lupin and growing close with him, the two of them agreed to change their last names to Forstner so they could let go of their distasteful family backgrounds

also bc theyre both gay and at this point they're starting their own family together (with evren of course)

although yall do love going out and exploring, especially at night,, yall treasure those indoors dates as well when youre both just too tired to go out and have fun !! it consists of wiggling to some choice music, binge watching a good series, dramatic readings of some nice books, napping together, trying (and failing) to make some food before ordering takeout, etc

also sometimes ur indoors dates do devolve into criticizing some of the more questionable music tastes of the other

Have you ever been in a fandom and wanted to see your favorite band so much? It’s like, after months and even years of waiting, seeing @philconcerts’ tweet that your fave band is going to Manila, dude, one post can make your heart beats fast as heck! Well, I can still recall what happened when I found out.

It’s a new year of 2017 and my January had me going weak! Given the little amount of preparation for the 3rd periodical exams and having piles of projects, yeah, it’s one heck of a month. But this month also gave me one of the best advance birthday announcement. Yea, Fifth Harmony’s going on tour here in Manila! 

HERE ARE MY... W H A T  I F S!!!

1. What if you weren’t able to buy tickets as soon as possible and the tickets were already sold out?

2. What if you’re alone and you can’t come?

3. What if mom and dad don’t want you to see them?

4. What if dad didn’t want you to give money?

YES! That’s the major problem. M O N E Y. I want to see the girls closely as possible. During school days, dad would give me ₱ 200 a day and would save half of it and I will give the money to my friend - who, is my human bank account. mostly, i give all of my money to make sure i’ll be able to complete my money goal — ₱ 3, 990. Lower Box B K1 - If only some of the BOX A seats were still available, I could easily buy it to have a closer look, but I haven’t met the money goal, it cost ₱ 5, 040. (Uhhh, of course, FunTime exists, bro. If you know what I mean. *wink wonk*)

04 - 05 - 2017 - My gay heart is screaming as heck! I had mixed emotions and couldn’t contain myself. I’ve been setting my mood for the concert the whole time and I still feel like it’s a dream. I was like, “No way! I’m going to see them live! UGH!” Then we went inside of the Arena and kept looking for my mutuals but suddenly I found none of them. The FilHarmonics were the opening for the concert. Before they show up, there’s a black cloth that covered them from the stage, and the crowd went wild when the cloth was held down and in sync, the girls sang That’s My Girl. The show went on and I could still remember some of the Filipino words that Dinah said, “Maganda kayo!” Oh daaang, my heart melt. I found myself deadass looking through the LCD because my eyes started to blur and hardly couldn’t see them anymore. This sums up to the most depressing part, there were a lot of videos and pictures that were captured and my phone storage went to Zero KB. Crazy. But the most depressing part is knowing that they’re going to come back and probably won’t see them anymore. (They actually came back and yes, I wasn’t able to come.)

You can never really get what you want if you didn’t plan and do anything to make it happen. If money hinders you from going to a concert, then.. SAVE. UP. It’s a relief to be able to buy things for yourself when you use your own money. I took a step ahead and came out of my comfort zone. The next thing I knew, my gay ass went to Alabang Town Center to watch LANY live. *wink wonk, darling.* xx
