Reno Ihchikawa{A.K.A IchyChill Breakdowns}: Whatever Windette does, but with less insults. Basically Build Breakdowns and Speedrun Tutorials. Carried with the energy of a tired Indian Math teacher trying to teach calculus to 8th graders. Is also [technically] a PNG tuber, but because he's low energy, the PNG doesn't move much.

Iharu Haruichi {A.K.A SharkBAIT}: Two Channels. One is a horror game channel, Both Indi and Triple A. The other is anything casual, but mainly sticks to Stardew Valley, Animal Crossing, Coral Island, that sort of thing. Fans like to call the Horror one Anxiety and the non-horror one Anti-Anxiety(Each have their own mascots and like to fight each other like Jacksepticeye and Antisepticeye). He has absolutely accidentally cross posted horror vids onto the non horror channel and vice-versa. The community like to pretend that they don't interact with the other channels and when that sort of thing happens, they pretend they've been exposed to horrors beyond comprehension. (yes, even when the horror channel gets a cutesy vid)

Mina Ashiro{ A.K.A Can(n)onGodess/Pr3ttyW1ttl3K1tty}: Also Two channels, but actively makes sure that no one knows she runs both. One is a live stream of FPS set up as no-commentary/with camera (Mainly colorful ones like Valorant). The other is also no commentary with NO camera and its Sim 3 or 4 tips-and-tricks and Minecraft Aesthetic House Build (Mod and No Mod.)

Kikrou Shinomya:{A.K.A Can_It_Doom?} A STEM major that couldn't find a use for her degree as fast as she liked, so she started a Can it Run Doom? channel as a joke, and now it's evolved into a channel where people recommend different setups like Drumset Controler on a Texas TI-84 Graphing Calculator. (Is also currently in the middle of working on a live action Tank Setup for World of Tanks as a subscriber goal.)

Hoshina Soshiro{A.K.A SwordSingerSUPREME} Any game that involves sword fighting and critiques it either Accurately or HARSHLY. Also streams his HEMA training/tournaments. It's very popular (because everyone find him hot) and has since become a bit of an eclectic channel that is split between his Gaming vids, his HEMA vids, and P.O Box unboxing vids where people send him A LOT of gifts. There's also an over an hour video of him playing Let's Hit Each Other With Fake Swords the Card Game with his older brother (who is also in HEMA.) that he made when the channel hit 5 million subscribers.

Me, a casual urban planning hobbyist: what if we had dense, walkable neighborhoods with narrower roads, limited motor traffic, designated bike lanes, well-thought out public spaces based on the historic concept of the 'town square' or 'commons', public transport corridors with ideally light or heavy rail as well as buses, integration of urban and natural environments, thoughtful mixed use zoning and building design, wheelchair accessibility which will also help other disabled people/parents with strollers, incorporating current structures into the urban plan where possible to maintain character and prevent waste.

Headcanon question because I'm SO curious actually as someone who's got an interest in taxidermy... What would Pump's opinion on insect taxidermy be? Would he think they're neat, or would he just prefer them alive?

HAMMY'S POSTING. They're not creepy crawlies if they're not crawling. Otherwise they're simply creepy. That's how I imagine he sees it. You can draw a hard line between "kids that like stomping on bugs" and "kids that like picking up bugs", and Pump belong to the latter category. And it's also something that separates him from the likes of Dexter, for example. He probably was taught at home that there are good bugs that should not be killed and instead put outside, like spiders, or bees. Also stepping on anthills and knocking down beehives just because they're in the garden is rude!! They have as much of a right to be there as he and his family do. So I believe he would find taxidermy, the practice in general, to be gnarly and spooky, because taxidermy as decor is something you commonly see in horror movies featuring serial killers and crazy scientists and the like, or even your standard deer head in a cabin. But he does not like the idea of bugs possibly dying by being pinned to frames or books. That is not how taxidermy works, but he does not know that! I'm sure if he did then he would not dislike the idea. There is something... truly spooky about dying of natural causes only to be turned into a life-like statue, you know? But I do not think he would like to keep taxidermy at home even then. He does prefer seeing them alive.

So I read Shadowland when I couldn't access tumblr, so you can have my delayed takeaways now

Shadowland kicks ass, and I need more like it.

And also what is Johnny even doing here? I thought Shadowland was meant for NY street heroes, which Johnny has really never been. I always associated him with Nevada, but he's a nomad first and foremost. A nomad who just got done ending a civil war in heaven. And wouldn't the Kale family riders being a generational enemy of the Hand make more sense than Zarathos, who spent most of the last 200 years or however long Fisk says doing Mephisto's bidding all over the globe. What makes the most sense would be the hand facing generations of Japanese Ghost Riders. Of course at that point, Danny had killed him (good job, Danny) so Fisk's spell probably grabbed the closest rider. Which it would still make more sense for that to be Danny. I'm not saying that it's impossible Zarathos has a history with the Hand, or for Johnny to have been closer at that time, I'm saying that in many ways, Danny seems like the painfully obvious choice over him, and it's frankly kind of weird that's not how it went.

I don't have any serious issues with this, I love Crain's art and the scene with the angels is sick as fuck (although it also seem's better suited to Danny, but that's just a personal thing). The only reason this bugs me is the same issue I have with basically all post-90's Ghost Rider; Johnny and Danny being used interchangeably. They used to have different powers and styles and stories, now it can be hard to tell which one you're looking at, and it sometimes doesn't matter. Johnny had his powers and outfit changed to match Dan, and neither have any family left to give them stories where it matters which one is used. Even in several stories where they're together I can only tell them apart by their bikes.

But, if you're not zeroing in on Ghost Rider and look at the Shadowland event as a whole, it's amazing

Things I wish I had read in "beginner" sewing tutorials/people had told me before I started getting into sewing

You have to hem *everything* eventually. Hemming isn't optional. (If you don't hem your cloth, it will start to fray. There are exceptions to this, like felt, but most cloth will.)

The type of cloth you choose for your project matters very much. Your clothing won't "fall right" if it's not the kind of stretchy/heavy/stiff as the one the tutorial assumes you will use.

Some types of cloth are very chill about fraying, some are very much not. Linen doesn't really give a fuck as long as you don't, like, throw it into the washing machine unhemmed (see below), whereas brocade yearns for entropy so, so much.

On that note: if you get new cloth: 1. hem its borders (or use a ripple stitch) 2. throw it in the washing machine on the setting that you plan to wash it going forward 3. iron it. You'll regret it, if you don't do it. If you don't hem, it'll thread. If you don't wash beforehand, the finished piece might warp in the first wash. If you don't iron it, it won't be nice and flat and all of your measuring and sewing will be off.

Sewing's first virtue is diligence, followed closely by patience. Measure three times before cutting. Check the symmetry every once in a while. If you can't concentrate anymore, stop. Yes, even if you're almost done.

The order in which you sew your garment's parts matters very much. Stick to the plan, but think ahead.

You'll probably be fine if you sew something on wrong - you can undo it with a seam ripper (get a seam ripper, they're cheap!)

You can use chalk to draw and write on the cloth.

Pick something made out of rectangles for your first project.

I recommend making something out of linen as a beginner project. It's nearly indestructible, barely threads and folds very neatly.

Collars are going to suck.

The sewing machine can't hurt you (probably). There is a guard for a reason and while the needle is very scary at first, if you do it right, your hands will be away from it at least 5 cm at any given time. Also the spoils of learning machine sewing are not to be underestimated. You will be SO fast.

Imagine going on a walk on a really foggy day, enjoying the vaguely eerie, faint and distant aesthetic of it all, and the soft quiet of having no other people around. You're about to cross a familiar bridge when you suddenly feel lightheaded. It's nothing to worry about, just a weirdly wobbly feeling that means you should sit down. And probably get more iron in your diet. Either way, you need to get up and you need to cross this bridge to get home. But now being alone has put this weird fear in you - irrational or not - that if you walk over the bridge, you might get dizzy again and fall from it.

Weird and lonely problems require weird and lonely solutions. Since you're all alone here anyhow, you can act strange if you need to. So you get down on all fours - not on your hands and knees, but on the balls of your feet, like a dog. And like this, you start to slowly creep over the bridge. Nice and slow, happy about your solution that made it feel safe to cross and get home. You can be weird if you want to, nobody's judging here.

You're creeping at a comfortable speed, very slowly, but the bridge isn't that long. You can kind of make out the outlines of things on the other side through the mist. The end of the bridge, a familiar tree, a streetlamp, the silhouette of a bush and-

A person. A human figure. You freeze mid-step to stare. That is the most definitely the outline of a person, standing perfectly still. Staring right at you. You don't know how long this moment lingers, but eventually you can't hold your balance anymore and you have to step forward, placing your open palm back on the cold damp bridge. The figure turns, and takes off running. Bolting off in a very normal, startled way that anyone would when they're spooked.

It occurs to you that you only saw the vague outline of an unexpected person, an obscure figure standing in the fog. They, however, saw the vague outline of you, something perhaps vaguely human-shaped, but moving in a way that people simply do not, slowly, very slowly, creeping over a bridge.

Assuming that nobody would see you, you accidentally became someone's unexplained Silent Hill experience.
