you all pestered me for it and here it is. the closeness analysis/ theory.

now if you didn't see I basically had this theory that the closer to BIG and COTY we get in the DAPG timeline the closer dan and phil sit to each other. Dan made a comment about how them playing Heartthrob being like a gay soft launch and that got me thinking of some other ways they could have done it and one of those being the idea that as time goes on you get less and less strict and worrisome about what others think of you and so they end up gravitating closer and closer.

This post will be under a see more cos its probably gonna be long af.

2014 - 15

now when i initially went to collect my evidence, i was suddenly worried maybe i kinda had things wrong because i feel like in Donkey Kong Country (the first dapg video, see screenshot below) they're sat pretty close but honestly when we get to how they sit a lot later on you'll see that this is actually pretty far apart

now here are some screenshots for the inital look at at the end of them we'll talk (this will be the layout for most of this post i think)

now of course this is only a selection of those year's videos if i screenshotted them all i fear this post would never end. now these first 2 years are a good mix of at desk videos on sofa videos. i noticed from some other videos not show here that in sofa videos they rend to sit a lot closer to each other than they do at the desk, this is kinda funny to me cos really they definitely have room for a wider frame on the couch if they wanted to sit like normal people.

2016 - 17

2016 and the start of 2017 feel like a mixed bag of how close together they are but i did notice that the more into 2017 we got the more they seemed to be shoulder to shoulder! these also started to wean out sofa sitting games (not 100% gone yet but almost). now if you're wondering why i've kept this screenshot apart its cos this is the last one in the first london apartment.

and honestly from here on out is where i believe the "soft launching" begins!

watching these videos definitely feels like something changed btw, while they still arent as close as we'll start seeing them sit, i definitely noticed more often they were shoulder to shoulder. but like a new room has definitely changed the vibe a little bit between them, and now we can move on to the next and final year of pre hiatus dapg, where things as you will see immediately start to change.

I haven't written for him but I will try,,, btw I changed the story a bit so Friede and Reader knew of eachother in highschool, but they're kinda meeting again to an extent after not talking to eachother for years.

It was a miracle that you were talking to your highschool best friend/crush.

The two of you met accidentally as you were grabbing youur daily treat from the nearby Cafe.

Your partner pokémon was happily chewing on a poképuff as the two of you caught up.

"I've been good, the kids are now st-"

"You have kids???"

You and Friede were close friends in highschool, and you've had a crush on him ever since you were 17.

But to think that he had kids was insane, the both of you were in your mid 20's right now, and the fact that he has multiple was insane.

"Oh- no, no- not my kids, I-"

He took a deep breath before chuckling.

He used to be the most confident kid in highschool and you couldn't help but always wish to be him, or be with him.

"Well, you remember how when we first graduated I started a new project, turning gramp's old ship into something else?"

Of course you remembered. It's the one thing you often think back on when you missed him.

After the two of you graduated, you invited him over to your place to celebrate and he stayed the night. Most of the night was spent with him rambling on about his dream with the newly-caught Pikachu curled up on his stomach.

You've always wanted to confess your feelings right there and then, the lighting was perfect, and you cuss at yourself daily for chickhening out.

"Well, after about a few months or a year, I managed to get it sorted,"

His voice cuts through your thoughts, snapping you back into reality.

"And?"

"And what?"

There it was, the soft laugh that you adored, a boyish smile plastered on his face as he glanced away from you, acting as if he hadn't been staring at you this whole time.

"How is it? Did you get your boyband sorted?"

"It's not a boyband- we have a bit of everyone- you'll love the team,"

And there he went, rambling all about the people and pokémon who lived on the ship prior to it being taken down by Raquaza -which apparently was a shiny, so that was something new- and left everyone to go back to a more normal life.

The passion in his eyes was evident as he rambled on about his co-workers, their traits, and how they help out.

Suddenly, the boy man paused as he looked at you, his golden gaze gleaming with affection.

To an extent, you forgot that the two of you have been separated for years.

"You should join us, it'll be fun, I'm sure you'll love Murdock! He bakes the best sweets!"

His gaze was warm as he looked at you, and you swore you could feel your heart skip a beat.

It was hard to say no to him, not only because you've always had a crush on him (that at this point lasted for at least 4 years, which probably is more like 6-7 years), but because wanted to travel with a group of people.

Giving him a small nod, his grin widened as he lifted himself off the mahogany table and quickly embraced you.

"It's gonna be so much fun with you here, I promise you'll love it-"

As quickly as he began talking, he pauses, quickly loosening his grip before rubbing the back of his neck

I read a really good fic recently that had the premise of Damian sneaking out and doing graffiti at night to get away from the house and basically he makes friends with the street kids in the area. (Colin is an established friend from the beginning)

Obviously I loved this idea.

So I made my own, more angsty twist on it ofc.

This is bad dad Bruce btw.

So my idea is as follows. Bruce is a piece of shit and really neglectful and emotionally/verbally abusive. All of damians siblings are moved out and only visit occasionally when outside of masks. As a coping mechanism Damian starts sneaking out on the nights he doesn't patrol. Whether it be because Bruce benched him for a stupid reason or whatever else. While out and about he stumbles across some kids of varying ages. They're loud and playfully shoving each other around but Damian notes the joy and contentedness. Damian then notes that they're doing some graffiti on the front of an abandoned church. The closer Damian gets the more he notices what the piece is shaping up to be. It's a protest piece advocating for gay rights from the looks of it. It's not finished but it's already impressive and eye catching.

One of the older teenagers, around damians age, notices him and immediately whistles to get the attention of the other people making up the group. They suddenly seem tense. Damian knows it's because he's an outsider. He says the first thing that comes to mind.

"I like the art. It's very impressive." He's a bit awkward and there's a bit of a standstill where everyone is sizing each other up but then the older teenager who damian noted before smiles crookedly and barks out a laugh.

"Thanks man. You ever done this before?"

And before Damian knows what's happening he's being brought forward and into the group. After awhile the group relaxes and they're back to the rowdiness and warmth from before.

Damian for the first time in a long time, or since his siblings stopped coming around, felt good. He felt at peace. He didn't have to walk on eggshells here. He didn't have to be anyone but himself. These kids laughed at his dry sarcasm and accepted and understood the ugly temper he carried.

Damian felt safe.

Ironic that it's with a bunch of strangers in back alleys that he feels safe with and not with his own father.

From then on the relationships between Damian and the group grows. (They all come from a variety of places locally. Whether that be the nearby orphanage, local shelters, or their own homes they needed to get away from for a bit.)

Damian gets close to one girl in particular. She introduced herself by the name Brooke. She was the one who whistled to get the groups attention upon first coming across Damian. Damian knew from observing interactions that Brooke was like a leader for the older kids and role model for the younger. Most looked up to and respected her a healthy amount.

Damian and Brooke are around the same age. Damian being 16 and Brooke 17. From a first glance they seemed like opposites. Brooke being extroverted, eccentric, warm and reckless. But looking closer they were more similar than anything. Both headstrong, intelligent, determined, and natural born leaders.

At this point Damian has been sneaking out for a little over a year. It's been noticed by his siblings how damians been benched almost constantly. When asked Bruce just replies its punishment for how Damians been acting out as of recently and it's left at that. For now.

Damian dreads going home. Brooke's only half joking when she offers he crash at her place. The group knows he's Damian Al Ghul-Wayne. They also know about Bruce Wayne. Playboy, billionare, and His shitty dad.

Then Damian and Bruce get into a massive argument. The house practically shakes with how loud the screaming is. Venomous insults and bitter hatred is thrown back and forth but it all comes to a head when suddenly Damians head is whipping to the side. The room goes still. Damians face is hot to the touch from where Bruce had struck him across the face. Damian straightens and he feels himself shut down. He ignores his father's demands he come back and slams, locks and baracades his bedroom door behind him. He stuffs his necessities in a duffle bag and like a million times before he lugs himself out his bedroom window and climbs down to the ground. Then he leaves.

He had left all devices that could be tracked at Wayne manor. So he pulls out a burner phone and calls Brooke.

"Where are you?" He says bluntly.

"Whoa who pissed in your cereal this morning?" Brooke laughs but cuts herself off when Damian stays silent.

"I'm at home right now. Im babysitting my siblings while my mom's at work. Why? Are you okay?" She asks seriously.

"No i-Can i come over?" damians voice cracks before he clears his throat. "I know you were joking when you said it but you said I could if anything happened-" Damian mutters.

"Hey" Brooke says soothingly. "Of course you can come over. You know my address." She hesitates. "What happened?" She murmers.

Damian laughs bitterly. "Exactly what we knew would happen." He grits his teeth. "Yknow he's never hit me before today."

"That fucker-" Brooke hisses.

They stay on the phone until Damian gets to her front door. He doesn't even get the chance to raise his hand to knock before the door is flung open and he's pulled inside by Brooke.

From there the story flips between perspectives. Damians, where he's brought in and taken care of by Brooke's family + the alley kids. And then Damians siblings when they find out that Damian is gone and Bruce has no idea where he is.

The siblings are pissed and through some digging they find out about all the abuse Bruce had put damian through.

Idk if they beat Bruce's ass before or after they find out where Damian is.

If you didn't already pick up on it, Brooke is my OC. I love her very very much. Honestly I'm actually torn between if I want her as a love interest or as an Older Sister figure. Idk it depends.

How To Convert Eyelashes

I was asked to make a tutorial on converting eyelashes. Well, here it is. Dirty, badly explained tutorial by Rollo. I'm assuming you know how to work with required programs, it won't teach you the basics, just a process of converting eyelashes from ts4 to ts3.

Requirements:

S4Studio

s3pe

TSR Workshop

Sims 3 Pack Multi-Extracter

These files (full credit goes to @gruesim)

Graphical program that works with .dds files

Let's go:

Open the desired lashes in S4Studio. Export diffuse of the ones you want to convert (you only need the black ones). You can also export the thumbnail. Close the program.

2. Unzip the folder that you downloaded from this tutorial. You will find a .dds files called "sclub eyelash". Open it up in the graphical program. Make a black layer above it and hide it for now.

3. Now open up your ts4 eyelashes file. Start from the upper eyelash, crop it and go to the sclub eyelash.

4. Paste it, click ctrl+i, it will make ts4 eyelash white.

5. This is the worst part. You have to make the ts4 eyelash fit to the sclub one as close as possible. Use every method possible!

6. Unhide the black layer and see if your eyelash look alright. It may need some sharpening.

7. Now crop the bottom eyelash and follow the exact same steps as for the upper eyelash.

8. It should look more or less like this. Bottom eyelashes are always harder to adjust and may need even more sharpening.

9. Merge your upper and bottom eyelashes, duplicate the layer. Click ctrl+a, ctrl+t, then right mouse button and choose "Flip Horizontal".

10. Voila. You should have a complete set of your new shiny eyelashes! Save them as .dds. You can close the program. We're moving to TSR Workshop.

11. New Project -> New Import. Import Eyelashes AFBase from the downloaded folder.

12. Name your project, name your file and click "Next".

13. You should see this. Go to Texture tab and click "Edit" on the Transparency Map.

14. Import your eyelashes and click "Yes" when asked.

15. You should see your lashes, yay! But this is TSRW, they won't look exactly the same in game, as they look here. If you want a set of eyelashes, add more presets.

16. Now this is important. If you want to see your eyelashes in Accessories, go to Project tab, Clothing Type and change it from eyeliner to glasses. You also have to do this if you have more than one preset in one file. They won't show up in Eyeliner section. If you want to have set of eyelashes in Eyeliner category, you have to make each preset into seperate file. Also, eyelashes are recolorable ONLY in Accessories section. Don't forget to check Categories section to see which outfit has the eyelashes available.

17. Now you're ready to export your file! Export -> To Sims3Pack. Use the Sims 3 Pack Multi-Extracter to convert your sims3pack to package file. We're moving to s3pe.

18. THESE STEPS ARE ESSENTIAL! Open up your shiny new package in s3pe. Click on the GEOM with the right mouse button.

19. Click Replace and choose AUID.simgeom from the downloaded folder. AUID is for adults, CUID for kids and PUID for toddlers. We have one more step to do.

20. Now click on the CASP normally (left mouse button) and click Grid on the bottom of the program.

21. A small pop up window appears. Scroll to the very bottom and find a line called OverlayPriority.

22. Change the 8 to 2. This will make eyelashes not being visible through hair that's covering eyes.

23. Save your package. You're ready to test your converted eyelashes in game!

Here they are. Nothing fancy, it was a quick conversion :D They're also compatible with S-Club eyelash sliders ^^

Btw, you don't necessarily have to convert both upper and bottom eyelashes. You can have upper or bottom only. Play with the lenght, not all eyelashes have to be very long. Convert it for males, kids, toddlers. You just have to remember to change the options in TSRW and replace the correct .simgeom file in s3pe. There is a lot of possibilities and you'll probably get better in this than me :D

Alec: reddit, twitter. Reddit but only so he and Aisha can post like really outlandish obvious troll posts in aita and legaladvice, tumblr so he can stare at princecore aesthetic moodboards and nod approvingly (he will only like it but never reblog, his blog is like a barren wasteland)

I do think a lot of the problem and the reason that more people (like the ones who seem to think that "top/bottom as myers-briggs personality types" jokes are exclusively coming from female-centric fandom spaces rather than gay male offline culture - which, btw, ignores that a whole bunch if not most female fanfic writers are themselves queer and there's a similar set of jokes and stereotypes in the lesbian community, but I digress) don't seem to understand what offline queer culture is like on here is that way too many of the people setting the tone for this in The Discourse on Tumblr are very young people who are newly out. In particular, a huge amount of the gay men on here who are telling people how very Problematic this is (when they're getting it from gay men and not circular discourse among other women in fandom who are claiming to speak on gay men's behalf) is coming from young gay men who don't have much of a community offline, and especially young gay trans men who often aren't yet presenting as male outside of the Internet. It's really hard to talk about, because it so easily risks saying those people's identities aren't valid - and like, we've seen TERFs weaponize that discourse to suggest that gay trans men involved in fandom are just straight women who identified too hard with their blorbos or something, as well as the endless use of "passing privilege" to suggest that bi people in F/M relationships are "basically straight" - but I think one thing people need to understand better is the difference between "your identity is valid, your personal experiences with homophobia/transphobia/etc. are valid" and "your judgments about the larger community that your identity makes you a member of are valid." Like, you do actually have to participate in a community to be able to be able to talk about what the consensus in it is, what the cultural norms are. You have to actually look up the history in order to know that history. If you're going to speak on behalf of All Gay Men you probably should know some beyond yourself - including ones who are not Very Online and/or aren't active in fandom - and that goes for both cis and trans gay men. (And the same is true for every subdivision of LGBTQ+, I've seen similarly bizarre takes about "lesbian culture" from 17-yro lesbians who clearly haven't talked to any outside of Tumblr and insular, dramatic Discords.)

Like, to use an analogy here to another kind of oppression: say you have a black person who was adopted by a white family very young and lived in an exclusively white neighborhood and doesn't know any other black people. Obviously, they are still black, and obviously they still experience racism (probably especially because they're an outlier in that community). Obviously, their own understanding of their identity and their experiences with racism are valid. But they aren't necessarily going to have any better of an understanding of the broader black COMMUNITY - cultural traditions, history, etc. - than a non-black person who was similarly not exposed to that community. They can only speak for themselves. And someone who isn't black but grew up near/in black communities (for instance, perhaps another transracial adoptee who was adopted by a black couple? or even just a non-black person who grew up in a heavily black neighborhood) might actually have a better sense of that broader community/culture than they do.

And this isn't a hypothetical. I've heard stuff like that about feeling like outliers in black American culture from everyone from the aforementioned transracial adoptees; to multiracial black people who were raised primarily by their non-black family; to black people who are recent immigrants from Africa rather than descendants of slaves; to black people from Europe or other parts of the Americas, who have some similarities in their culture but it's not completely 1:1. And especially from people who are some combo of the above. They have an understanding of themselves as black and of their relationship to race and racism, of course, but don't really feel like they have a particularly strong understanding of The Black Community or The Black Experience as we understand it in the USA.

I think what a lot of people don't understand is that newly-out queer people are often like that. A lot of other marginalized identities - like being a cis woman (this applies less to trans women unless they've known from early on) or being a POC - are ones where you grow up with an understanding of what that means and often a connection to a broader community that gives you some kind of consciousness of what it means to be A Woman or Black or Asian or whatever. But with queerness, it's usually not something you fully understand about yourself until adolescence or adulthood, and even when you do, you don't necessarily have access to a "community" around that until that age because you're probably being raised by cis straight people. You have to take time to discover that community and learn about it, and the culture and history that goes with, and when you start out you're going to be just as ignorant as a straight cis person who is similarly isolated from queer communities. (And frankly, a straight person with a lot of gay friends might know better than you do at first! As a lesbian with a lot of gay male friends, most of whom couldn't care less about my slash fanfic hobby if they even know about it, that's precisely why I know that these takes on Tumblr are so bizarre)

(Disability is the interesting one because it sometimes overlaps with this, sometimes doesn't - and one of the big divides in the community IME is around people who have lifelong understandings of themselves as "disabled" vs. came to it more recently, whether because the disability itself is a new thing or just their diagnosis of it. A lot of people in the second group can have very similar experiences and act in similar ways to newly-out queer people, and I know because I've lived both myself, lol.)

I think people have taken the idea of "everyone is the best expert on their own experience with oppression and their own identity" and distorted that into some weird essentialism where being gay or bi or trans or whatever gives you automatic understanding of "queer culture" or "queer history" without having to do the actual work of talking to people, participating in that community, studying history, etc. but that's just not true. Anyone can study that history and get to know those people. And yeah, as a queer or trans person you'll have a better opportunity to really deeply know and be part of that community than straight cis people with queer friends ever will, but you still have to like. Actually put yourself out there! You're not going to find it by just discoursing in a vacuum of ignorance.

Solar eclipse from Mars

We're uniquely situated with our Moon to produce total eclipses of the Sun - the geometry is such that, from our POV, our sister world completely covers our star when its orbit is just right.

Though Mars has two moons, they're both absolutely tiny compared to our Moon - Phobos is 17 miles (27 km) in diameter along its largest axis, and Deimos is only 7.6 miles (12.4 km) across. BTW, Mars is only about half the size of Earth (4219 miles/ 6790 km vs our 7922 miles/ 12750 km), but even proportionally they're teeny.

And even though they orbit way closer to Mars than our Moon orbits us, Mars orbits much farther away from the Sun (average 1.52 times as distant) - thus the disc of the Sun in the Martian sky is just a little over half its size in our sky.

So even with all the geometric advantages, those moons are so minute they just can't blot out much of the Sun during an eclipse.

26. How important is the romance in your OC’s overall story?

No matter who Kyrahlise is with, the romance is important to her overall story. It helps her realize people do actually care about her as a person. Which is something she’s struggled to fully believe since her 13th birthday. She’d actually made a lot of progress on that during her time at the Circle. But the 9/10 years since she left set her back quite a bit.

Also Kyrahlise starts to unpack the idea that she’s a walking time bomb. She told the Shepherds the truth about her past in Chapter 3, and none of them treated her like a threat. Then someone falls in love with her knowing her role in Vale’s disappearance, and the god-like power she wields? There are only two conclusions she can draw. One: they are all suicidal idiots to not be scared of her. Two: She isn’t the existential danger she’s believed herself to be for 16/17 years. Since the first can’t reasonably be applied to everyone in the Shepherds, she has to start to let go of this belief. The fact that someone loves her is the final crack in the foundation of this idea, allowing her to clear away the pieces. 

Something I’ve mentioned before, though I don’t recall where, is that Kyrahlise is very determined to stay alive because she needs to keep the memories of Vale. This butts up against her bad habit of underestimating how much danger she is in, thus making her appear reckless. She also has a rather self-sacrificing nature. As you can imagine, this creates a strange cocktail of things going on in her head. Since joining the Shepherds, her terrible risk assessment, as well as her borderline reckless heroism, has really come to the fore. And she can justify these things as “doing her job”.

Once fully in a romance, she starts to be a little more careful. The thought of upsetting the person she loves by getting hurt when it could’ve been prevented is enough to give her pause. Though I do think this happens fastest if she’s with Blade, because he’s so protective of her (and would be the main thing they fight about). It would happen second fastest with Shery and Red since they are both worriers, and she feels guilty adding to that worry. But it does happen no matter who she’s with, just the speed and details change.

Not that Kyrah, or anyone, needs romance to learn these things. She’s just dense when it comes to what she means to people, platonically or romantically. She doesn’t put more value in romantic relationships, but she’s never been in love before (sorry Circle era Red, lol). The newness of this type of love makes it all the more raw and forces her to examine these beliefs faster.

29. What are your favorite moments that happen between them? (Spoilers for the alpha build below, so if you haven't played beyond the public demo feel free to skip this.)

Shery: In Chapter 8 during the first trial when you talk to everyone, you can heal Shery’s ankle, and the romance version of that scene had me kicking my feet and twirling my hair! The sweet longing looks, the touch of gentle sexual tension! Sometimes I just go back and reread that scene because I love it so much!

Tallys: I love how in Chapter 8 MC can comfort her! She’s so calm and in control of herself most of the time, that it’s really nice to be able to be there for her when she needs it. I like seeing a different side of her. Also, it amuses me that it turns into a make-out session, but that’s very Tallys!

Chase: Okay, the bed sharing scene in Chapter 7 where you can push the beds together with Chase absolutely destroys me! I honestly cried the first time I read it! He’s so sweet and tender, and clearly already head over heels for MC. But MC feels like they can’t trust that side of him. 

Red: Gods, it’s hard to pick! Is it his second day off with the awkward encounter at lunch? Or in Chapter 5 when he doesn’t want MC to know he got propositioned? Or that conversation in Chapter 7 where he’s trying to suss out if MC is into him, and then the kids interrupt?

hi rin thanks for the ask! I've been a little tired these past fews but overall I'm okay :)

Hmm, okay I had to give this question some thought because JJK is still in progress, and I don't have set favorites yet, but it is coming to a close some time this year. Once it's over, I'm gonna give the series a complete read-through and I'll have a good idea of which arcs I liked.

For now, I would say that I do like most of the arcs in JJK, but if I had to choose just one as my favorite, I guess it would be Itadori's Extermination Arc. This arc has a little bit of everything that I like about Jujutsu Kaisen.

Coming right after the aftermath of the Shibuya Incident, it shows just how high the stakes are, now that Gojo has been sealed, Yuuji's execution will be put into place, and Megumi's current whereabouts are unknown. I think it works well as a sort of transitional arc between Shibuya Incident and Perfect Preparation and Culling Game. We get to see my boy Yuuta again (who has another great entrance btw), even though he's been tasked with carrying out Yuuji's execution. When I first read this part, I had no idea what Yuuta actually had planned, so I was worried at first, but it's a clever plan. It is quite sad that Gojo expected something to happen to him, so he entrusted Yuuta to carry out his will: protecting his students. Something something, the strongest carry the heaviest burden by sacrificing themselves for others.

It was also a treat to see both the past MC and current MC fighting, even though it would end with Yuuji getting defeated.

This arc also shows one of my favorite moments in the whole series, where Choso gets to beat the shit out of Naoya and talks about what it means for him to be an older brother. The themes of brotherhood and responsibility were so relatable to me because I'm also an older sibling who carries a lot of responsibility, using myself as an example for my younger brother. Everything Choso said about making mistakes so his younger brothers won't have to make, basically being a role model, them hit me in the soul. This is where I knew Choso was going to be my favorite JJK character, next to Nanami. Just a warning: I will cry and scream when we get to see this in Season 3, like be prepared because I will NOT shut up about it!! Choso supernova... (btw that's the inspiration behind my twt username and my tumblr pfp is a panel from this arc)

and don't mind that Yuuta knocked him out

OOH here's another badass Choso quote:

"Nonetheless, I must walk ahead of my little brothers. That's why I'm strong."

And of course, this arc includes the infamous Chapter 143 (well, according to JJK Wiki, but 143 is part of Vol. 17 so idk), which, as an ItaFushi shipper, I can't ignore. I mean, we do get to see Yuuji's parents, but that wasn't even the most shocking part of this chapter for me. Megumi has returned!

"Why are you doing all this?" "Because you're important to people who are important to me."

I liked the discussion Yuuta and Yuuji had about him being burdened with a power that he didn't ask for (yeah, I know Yuuji ate Sukuna's finger at will, but I don't think he knew what exactly that meant for him moving forward, or how powerful Sukuna turned out to be). Yuuta basically absolved Yuuji of the blame for all the damage caused because of that power, one that isn't his own.

And going back to Megumi's return. Yuuji seems to be surprised at how nonchalant Megumi is about everything, acting as if nothing happened. Regardless of what Yuuta just told him, Yuuji believes he's guilty because of all the people that were killed, but Megumi tells him that they're both to blame, and he shouldn't take on that responsibility alone. Megumi's whole speech in this chapter made me really appreciate him as a character.

"...As long as I'm around, you will suffer!" "So start by saving me, Itadori."

Yuuji is really scared about Sukuna, and by proxy, him, doing something to harm Megumi, so he believes he needs to distance himself from him. It's his belief is that he's solely responsible for everything that Sukuna has done, all because he made the decision to become his vessel. But Megumi has to remind him that they aren't heroes, they are jujutsu sorcerers, and they have to save people. Megumi is begging Yuuji to help him to save his sister from being caught in the Culling Game. I don't think there's anyone who Megumi trusts more than Yuuji, and while Yuuji may only be seeing the 'ugly' side of himself, Megumi doesn't see it that way. He is probably the most vulnerable he has been up until this point in the story, begging Yuuji for his help. UGHHHH okay they make me scream!! Gege please let Yuuji fulfill Megumi's request to save him!

I'm really excited to see this arc announced, even if it ends up being like 2 episodes.

I was so excited when this scene was voiced over at the Jump event last year, and I can't wait to see it in season 3! Also, I was so close to saying Perfect Preparation Arc was my favorite, but honestly I really only liked the chapters where Maki eliminated the Zen'in clan. Second favorite would probably be Vs. Mahito (hehe hi Nanami).

Oh god I've written too much already, so I'll make this next part brief. Like I said in the beginning, I like most of the arcs in JJK, but it wasn't that difficult to choose the Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc as my least favorite. I didn't really like the Kyoto students all that much, if I'm gonna be honest. There really isn't much to say about them because, in my opinion, most of them didn't have significant roles after this arc. The fights were interesting, but I can't really say much else about this arc other than these character were kinda wasted.

Well, this is difficult right off the bat. Most of the time, my favorite is either Edwin or Niko. But today I'm in my Charles feels. And yesterday my feels were focused on Crystal. Basically, my favorite character is the core four teens (Edwin, Charles, Crystal, and Niko). They're my sweet baby angels and I would die for any one of them.

6. OTP

This one is much easier. Edwin x Charles. They are so completely and ridiculously devoted to each other and it destroys me. These are two boys who have experienced the worst in both humanity and in the afterlife. And they are literally each other's light in the darkness. They love each other more than anything and I cannot handle it.

17. how did you get interested in DBD?

I was vaguely aware of it as a show based on a Neil Gaiman thing before it came out and I was vaguely aware that the characters were on Doom Patrol (in that version they were played by Ty Tennant and a kid from Heartstopper), but I think what first interested me were some gifsets @mcbride reblogged. I'm surprised I watched it as fast as I did (usually shows end up on my to-watch list and don't really leave it for months). I also very rarely get this into shows with teenage mains (the last time was probably VM and, before that, BtVS when I was a teen). But I'm so glad I gave it a chance. And I fell in love with it pretty quickly after I started watching.

21. something in the show that made you happy

Just one thing? How it's so queer and so kind. So many of my favorite shows have one or the other (or sometimes neither, but happen to give me a ship that fits my ship niche, which this one also does), but this is one of the rare exceptions that has both. First of all, pretty much everyone reads as queer. And we also get characters who are kind, characters who want to help other people, who want to do good and be the best versions of themselves.

i've been trying to see how Buck and Eddie's seasonal arcs could lead to anywhere but each other... but i genuinely can't.

their storylines are more intertwined than they ever have been.

here's just a quick run down of 6b buddie alone:

6x10 - Eddie watching Buck be good with kids when he should have been doing his job. (it's background but you can clearly see Eddie in the shot)

6x10 - "alright cowboy, go get 'em" (added to their endless list of flirty moments)

6x10 - Eddie being thrown from the ladder but immediately getting up when he sees Buck. screaming his name, trying to pull him up even though down makes more sense.

6x10 - Eddie pushing Bobby out of the way to get to Buck... he pushed his boss to get to Buck (gotta remind the people that Bobby is Eddie's boss)

6x11 - Eddie being the one to restart Buck's heart (Chim had been doing it for 3 minutes btw)

6x11 - "do more" to medical professionals saying they'll try and save Buck.

6x11 - Eddie being the first thing Buck remembers in his coma dream (literally remembers being flirted with by his best friend before anything else)

6x11 - Buck being a teacher of kids about Chris' age in his coma dream (sounds very familiar to someone Eddie dated...)

6x11 - Eddie and Chris not being together being Buck's worst nightmare

6x11 - Eddie not being able to even look at Buck in a coma without crying

6x12 - Buck wanting to be alone so he goes to Eddie's and immediately falls asleep on his coach (COUCH THEORY)

6x12 - KITCHEN SCENE. talking about the shooting and Buck finally listening to someone when they say he died. (also avoiding the conversation on how them dying/almost dying affected each other)

6x13 - Eddie "the sceptic" Diaz being all for Buck having "superpowers" and even encouraging them (all whilst they're just casually hanging out at Buck's as Chris does his Maths homework. domestic as fuck)

6x13 - POKER DATE. Buck didn't even question what they were doing, he just went with it.

6x13 - "3 minutes and 17 seconds" Eddie is the ONLY person to mention the exact time Buck was dead for. every one else (including Buck's own Sister) have said 3 minutes, never mentioning the extra 17 seconds.

6x13 - Buck and Chris baking cookies for Chris' class whilst Eddie is somewhere else (once again, domestic as fuck. also solidifying that Buck is a PARENT to Chris and not just his Dads friend)

6x14 - the queer coded Eddie of the entire episode... that's it. that's the point.

6x14 - Buck being so obviously jealous and knowing Eddie better than both Chim and Hen (e.g the "you're not good at that" comment)

6x14 - Eddie not once mentioning that his home life also involves Buck. (6x13 does exist for proof)

6x15 - Natalia hurting her left hand, paralleling Ana (this will come up again when Eddie hurts his RIGHT hand in 6x17. we don't know what's going on there but it's good for thought)

6x15 - THE CEMETERY SCENE. Eddie showing Buck he knows him and sees him but Buck not seeing Eddie (in that moment). the clear jealousy and hurt from Eddie after Buck says "she sees me"

6x15 - Chris falling asleep in the exact same way Buck did (that scene is almost frame for frame, that's not a coincidence) (also putting the power of 3 thing in there with it being 3 episodes after Buck sleeping)

Heya there! I'm the anon that talked about the evolution of stars (but now off anon! because i hate referring to myself as "[Insert identifiable thingy here] anon" if i ever come back to ask something on anon again) and as you've read my. extensive yapping and speculation about a singular mentioned thing you said related to Determination! i have come back to yap and speculate to you once more (Because i may be, waaaay to fixated on this cuz it's my favorite kind of story!)

but you mentioned that 1. y/n doesn't dream often and 2. that they heard in a dream the voices of the long departed cheering them on in and then a star exploding into a supernova. and that made me think about whatever dreamspace they see when they finally have a dream and the entire "Something might emerge from inside of them" thing and i kept thinking and thinking and it kind of gave me a similar vibe to one Chapter of Houseki No Kuni (Really great manga by the way, i recommend it if you haven't read it) specifically chapter 46, Where Phos falls asleep and talks to Lapis in their dream (from page 17 to page 24) and they're in Phos' mind.

now that got my brain running and it's just speculation based on little things but, what if that "something" inside of them has somewhat of some amount of disconnect between itself and y/n? that they can, though in some time limited capacity, talk to them?

And another thing that is related to that train of thought is, how exactly would their "mind space" look, because you mentioned that their memory has issues due to how long they've lived. Maybe it has gaps or holes in it? (In a similar manner to how Phos' mind looks in the previous mention of Houseki No Kuni) or maybe it has blank places in it? or is it just a void? Honestly I've given this, waay to much thought than it should have for throwaway lines.

but with the entire black hole and neutron star thing in mind, would that something alternate between a detachment of everything around them (In a similar way to Kyubey from Madoka) or an unnerving calm monotone depending on what it presents itself while speaking to them before emerging? if it's a different entity from y/n all together that just lives inside of them, that is.

And you’re definitely right about that something in y/n eventually being able to talk to them! Y/n and them are “separate” entities but also the same (if that makes any sense). Like, when a character in a show reincarnates. They’re technically the same person but there are differences in their circumstances that change them ever so slightly. Both go by different names and some if the small details are changed but in the overall they are fundamentally the same soul. But back to the topic!

Yes! Eventually y/n will talk with them!

And that becomes important with Marineford.

As for y/n’s mind pace I’d say it’s something akin to floating in space (me and the space themes lol). Bleak darkness that they float through representing their lost memories they waft through, the stars being the lucky few memories glowing in that darkness but so far out, so spaced apart within the sea of darkness that is the gaps in their mind of what had happened and what came first.

Y/n forgets a lot (which they know about but don’t remember what they forgot) and they space out a lot without noticing it at all. Both of these facts kinda make them their own unreliable narrator lol

Teehee now for the most interesting part black hole and neutron star forms.

When in either of these forms it’s y/n that’s in control. The thing in them kinda gives y/n the steering wheel and they watch from the passenger seat cause they’re just there for the ride. But when entering these different states y/n is very fundamentally different.

Both forms have their upsides and downsides, both are extremely powerful but are either self destructive or externally destructive. But most importantly they awaken and depend on y/n in a mental way.

Both are made of stars collapsing, but as one burns on the other decides to take everything with it.

Y/n will collapse but their choice in that mental collapse will determine the outcome of if they awaken either form.

I probably spoiled my own story quite a bit but screw it! I’m writing this shit at a snails pace and I wanna give yall food to eat since I’ve starved you all of content lol
