anyway, i think if the boatem circus folk found out, they'd get even more protective over grian. pointing out that it's not his fault; that he's not guilty of this crime, but the people who set those flames, knowingly. that the cruelty doesn't come from grian's hands and it's not his fault that it follows in his footsteps.

grian would still feel guilty, absolutely devastated that scar's wonderful circus burned to the ground because of shadows of grian's past... but i think he couldn't stand the thought of never leaving that awful place. even if it'd prevent this from happening to the others. is it selfish? maybe.

You should know by now this world is blighted and corrupted and that peace and stability is so fragile every decade or so something happens to break it. okay, but putting aside the comedic aspect of this, it is concerning the amount of people who are prompted to vote for candidates just because it's funny. I'm not the biggest fan of how his policy about the boarder sounds [Site], but I do implore anyone who is able to vote in the 2024 US election to please research other candidates.

The media is only going to continue pushing the idea it's inevitably going to be Trump vs Biden 2.0 and we have no other options, that we have to vote for Biden again because of Project 2025. Is that whole thing terrifying?

But voting for Biden will not solidify our safety from that. Biden is exactly like the rest of them. He always has been. You can't make the lesser of two evils argument when they're both just plain evil.

You cannot say that Biden is even mildly a better choice than Trump when he is currently directly involved in a genocide. That is not some little fucking thing. That in and of itself disqualifies him as a lesser evil. Biden is just as bad as him and he will not save us because he doesn't fucking care.

I started working on assembling background panels for the crab tank toppers today! These are two of the end walls of one topper.

Boxwood mat is glued on already, haven't done wood slices yet. I'm considering trying to rough up the tops to give better grip, but not sure yet. The crabs are likely to cling to the mat when climbing anyway, and I like how they look. If I were more artistic, I would use my dremel to cut pretty patterns in the top but alas.

The other one I pieced together from leftover cork bark pieces from building bridges. I think I like how it came out! I'm waiting until tomorrow to start gluing pieces down though, make sure I'm happy with it & bc it'll be tedious and it's late tonight. This one has less on it bc I'm going to hang a wheel up that will cover a lot of that top left section.

i honestly have no clue where they might be staying after el dorado! they're both still minors, so kiara can't exaclty just tell her parents to fuck off, and JJ's going to probably have to figre out emancipation or something like that at some point cause he can't just rent a place as a 17 year old, no matter how much money he has (unless the pates are just gonna ignore that too and you know what? I appreciate how much they avoid in order to not become a legal procedural cause these kids are breaking federal laws every five minutes). I don't know if we'll see Kiara at her house, but I can't imagine her parents just give up after Kitty Hawk - maybe finding out she was telling the truth the whole time about ward and the gold will force them to have a come-to-jesus moment and we'll see mike eat his fucking words?

i have written way more words about kiara and jj ending up at the maybank house than I ever thought I would, and I would love to see it, but I think JJ's goodbye to that house before they leave for South America is pretty final, so I don't think we'll be seeing too much of it in s4.

I have options running around my head. Tannyhill is a possibility, depending on where Rafe is. The condo Ward gave Sarah is another option. I can't imagine Heyward would turn all of them down, but there's not a whole lot of room for all the pogues in their house. idk!! i think it depends on how realistic the writers want to be with it.

also YES i think we'll get to see JJ's commitment issues come up and see him work through that, and I'm kind of excited to see him a little bit struggle with the romance of it all, you know?? I think it's going to be a very interesting dynamic and i'm excited to see it play out!!!!

isr*el has finally "agreed" to a ceasefire agreement. we'll see whether they'll actually abide by the terms, as history shows that the general trend of behaviour is that they agree and then continue to escalate and terrorise innocents in Gaza and Lebanon. but in this moment i'd like to share a few community funds. as well as donating to escape funds, please consider donating to these groups that shoulder the burden of rebuilding gaza's community.

provides shelter and support to high risk families, special needs children and adults and those with war injuries + chronic diseases.

provides food, water, diapers, milk and medical aid in support of various families in Gaza. These funds help continue to keep this project afloat and capable of providing for the families who depend on them.
