I love Raph and haven’t said that enough so to be more specific I love that Raph is a soft boy who loves bear plushies, a gross boy who eats an assortment of things that are definitely better left alone, a smart boy who is more than capable of taking down villains through planning and fortitude alike, a strong boy who is dedicated to training his muscles and fighting prowess, a teenage boy who loves his brothers but is more than happy to tease and roughhouse with them, an angry boy who sometimes lets his anger take a hold of him to cover the fear, a gentle boy who is generous with hugs and affirmations to those he loves, a capable boy who takes on more than should ever be expected of a teenager, a good boy who just wants to be a hero and slowly comes to realize the cost of that duty, a good boy who has no reservations about putting himself in the way of harm coming to his family, a good boy who’s a great brother and son and person and deserves only the best the world has to offer.

Peak relationship dynamic: vampires who’ve been together 300+ years and have a beautiful, loving, accepting, healthy relationship. Now. By ancient vampire standards. The first 150 years were kinda rocky but they’ve sorted out their differences and learned to communicate.

They’re still absolutely deranged serial killers and murder each others human pets in the occasional fit of pique, but they love each other madly and always find a way to forgive each other.

MOST NORMAL THING EVER but like… holding your f/o’s hand… running your thumb over their knuckles and feeling the dips and rises of their bones… resting your fingertips in the spaces between their knuckles and feeling like you’re completing them, filling in the empty spots… pressing your palm together with theirs and feeling the way they slide into place perfectly and the warmth that radiates from their hand over time… aaaaaa

Small but significant character moments that I actually really adore are from both the times we see the boys as tots. There is a reoccurrence that happens in both of them that I find so incredibly interesting.

For the turtle tot short, Splinter leaves the boys with weapons. In the short, Raph is the one who suggests they do “what Lou Jitsu would do” and Leo is the one who takes point when Splinter comes back to reprimand them. Leo, in taking point, is the one to defend them and get Splinter off their tails.

And then, in the flashback regarding the Kuroi Yōroi helmet, Raph is the one who grabs and throws “Skully” as a way to replace their missing ball which breaks it into pieces, but Leo is the one who speaks for the group and rushes into action to fix the teapot.

I love this for multiple reasons, but the biggest are how it shows that Raph has always been inclined toward the bold and fun and making the plans to include his brothers in what he loves and believes they’d love, whereas Leo has always been inclined to be the “Face” of the group and shoulder the attention even if it’s potentially negative all while coming up with on the spot attempts to fix the situation.

Maybe it’s too early for me to say this (I’m only on ep 3), but I’ve already seen people online saying that Jentry should be with Kit or Stella instead of Michael and it’s giving…😒

Lucille is no good as a cook but she sure is good at slicing and dicing- that is her one use in a kitchen. She (reluctantly) would agree to work with Maria because yes, manhandling a corpse is indeed easier with two. Teamwork !!🥰🥰

I think they would have maybe just a little mutual respect for each other because they both butcher bodies; Lucille does that and Maria cooks them because Lucille is a horrid chef.

I also think Lucille would also agree that some people would be better as a stew
