Okay genuine question for Kiseki: Dear to Me lovers: I was under the impression going into this that people love the secondary couple way more than the main and I don’t get it.

I’m like halfway through (Zongyi just got out of prison) and the second pairing is driving me nuts. Ai Di does something dumb or whatever, Chen Yi comes in and throws him around, and they have tension about whether they’re into each other (also, baffled Chen Yi is into his boss who clearly has his eyes other places…). It’s frankly getting super stale. Maybe it’s just that I’m not a seme-uke fan?

Please I just want to understand the hypeee. I want to be in on it but I’m mostly just like stop picking up that boy and throwing him around like a rag doll!!

Shoutout to the many Neko Atsume books that never got localized 😔

Some of these are packed with lore you’d never know otherwise… and these aren’t even all the Neko Atsume books in existence!

#neko atsume #at least we got where am I meow and the haiku book… but that’s still only 2 and they were localized YEARS ago #they’re both very good and cute books though I highly recommend them :) they have at least some lore too #but the 1st 2nd and 4th books in this post are absolute lore GOLDMINES that I so badly wish we had gotten overseas :(#two guidebooks and a storybook… you have no idea how bad I want them XD #the fifth one is a storybook too I believe- less lore than the first but still very good and cute #also fun fact the pose snowball is doing on the cloud is from a goodie you can no longer obtain- a robot called pepper #ok but the sticker book would be SO easy to localize it’s just stickers!!! why did we never get it!!!#at least most of the content from the third row has been archived on the wiki cuz it’s from a free web comic #but I’m pretty sure there’s still some book exclusive stuff in there… 😔#the last book is a ‘psych test’ book with lots of quizzes… sounds interesting XD #anyway that’s my neko atsume brainrot for the day lol :p #heres to hoping neko atsume 2 is so successful that we finally get some of these localized XD a girl can dream…

think it shouldn’t have been legal that my first day of teaching of the year coincided with grey and rain and storms. however! have some very lovely new students, some very enthusiastic returning ones, there’s new cookies in the cafe, and I get to play with pendulums tomorrow, so there are some (many!) positives

#teaching #text post #my post #my knees are unimpressed #by the combination of being back on my feet lots and whatever the weather did I think #but the cookies are truly magnificent #and it’s cute to see the students again they’re very nice and excitable mostly #but I am tired #ok this post was mostly an excuse to just divulge how the day has gone #it felt very autumnal this morning with grey skies and wind and the smell of rain which is kinda nice yknow getting that October feeling in #but god it’s gonna be such a long term #like ridiculously so #I have all these resolutions about doing more hobby stuff in the evenings and stretching more but like #we’ll see considering: the Tired #anyway the pendulums lesson is not even fully planned but I wasn’t about to stay super late on literally day 1 #I plan much better in the mornings anyway #and start as you mean to go on right #so that’s morning’s problem #but it’s pendulums it’ll be fun #tomorrow’s my first non-stop day of teaching (ie no free periods) in two years soooo #wish me (and my knees) luck for that one #those are usually ok once you get into them cause time just flies #but planning is a pain and I’m out of practice doing them cause I had none all of last year thankfully #ok that’s my update I think it’s bedtime #if you’ve read all these tags I am very impressed have a cookie 🍪#less impressive than the cafe ones but still good

our landlady sent someone to fix our kitchen floor (good, it was literally caving in and needed to be fixed for almost a year. Was legit afraid I’d fall thru it) but they are taking sooo long and I haven’t been able to cook for a full week bc our kitchen has to stay empty for them to work so the stove and fridge are just in the corner of another room. So. I’ve been eating chip meals for a full week and I am so sick of them. I need to cook I need VEGEBAL SO BAD I am going crazy
