I haven’t seen many people talk about the personality changes they have! the reason spider people are goofy and seem to be happier when masked up is because being Spider-Man to them is freedom it’s taking a break from the real world while being Spider-Man is traumatic it also gives them a distraction from overthinking as we saw with hobie miles and Gwen they’re more playful when masked up and more serious, stressed, and frustrated when not because of their personal lives and families

the thing this episode was making me think about a lot was kind of the sentiment of “we have things to do”. Like the fact that the teens can’t take any real time to process any of the shit they’re going through because they just have to constantly keep go go going. Like the time for the funeral was the first time in a while it really felt like they slowed down and I think that really adds to their big fights and arguments and stuff because everything is still so fresh and raw and stuff idk

On that note, there’s an amazing NGO called Ale Askar that’s accepting cards for Syrian refugee children in Lebanon. It’s an organization that keeps those precious kids off the streets and gives them an education. It prevents young girls from marrying too early, it provides food, hygiene, and shelter, and helps these kids avoid being trafficked. I’m channeling my anxious energy into making cards for them this morning.
