(Bed Question I guess) My sheets are dying. The fitted sheet always pops off the edge of the bed (yes I’m sure they are the right size and in the correct direction), and as it gets older it has gotten kind of scratchy regardless of when it was last washed. The comforter has two big holes and a few smaller ones opening up; it has an inner casing that holds stuffing, so no leakage yet. I never used my top sheet anyway, so that’s in mint condition at least.

I can struggle with getting rid of stuff when I should, but I really think it might be time. Any recommendations?

I need to be clear. I am. A sheet snob. I can handle the idea that less expensive sheets exist but the brand I fell head over heels for is a pricier one.

So my absolute favorite sheets that I utterly adore are DreamFit. They have straps under each corner to hold the sheets on snug, deep pockets with strong elastic to go on basically any bed without a lot of excess material scrunching up on the surface.

My sheets are eight years old and look amazing. There’s a tiny hole in my bamboo ones where Korben attacked it but it’s never widened or run because the weave is just that good. I. Love. These sheets.

I’ve got the microfiber (I don’t love these but they’re an okay stand in for flannel), pima cotton (still amazing but not as silky as-), Egyptian cotton (truly my fav), bamboo (second fav, really all around great), and tencel (sooooo soft).

They even have a quilted top sheet for the tencel ones that is the perfect weight for a summer blanket. It’s only negative is the quilting lifted from the under sheet after a few years and so is harder to clean and manage but still in great shape otherwise.

I have no strong feelings or recommendations about comforters, mine is a million years old, but these are my favorite sheets.

okay, I’m going full red string over the last episode. mainly because if queen amangeaux (put some goddamn respect on her name) had a child with her husband, wouldn’t that have solved all her problems? Sure, it would make her a target but the bishop was already warning her to lay low at the festival, and at least this would’ve secured her place on the throne until her child came of age. Unless she knew she was pregnant and then she decided not to say anything in trying to follow the bishop’s advice? Or she didn’t know at the time and then everything popped off. But that makes the baby at least a year and 3/4 months (if we use human pregnancy as the timeline??) and the baby read more as a newborn to me? Also in the adventuring party when they discussed the bishop’s secret, Anjali pointed out that he could’ve been poisoning her or her husband with the tea leaves to stop her from producing an heir. which could be a red herring, or could mean that the baby belongs to someone other than her husband, hence why she’s hidden him away. which would make sense since the coloring is a little different. So either the baby isn’t hers biologically and is just in her care, she had an affair while her husband was still alive, the baby is the true heir, or she got pregnant in the two year time jump.

not to make everything about buddie but we’re seeing buck go on a date, discover his sexuality, and somehow eddie is so involved in it all? we know from the stills that there are a ton of buddie scenes this episode, we know he (loudly) interrupts buck and tommy’s date.. last episode was about buck liking tommy but for 90% of it all he was obsessing over eddie instead. if you’re trying to introduce other ships and lead your watchers away from buddie, then why are they so involved with each other all the time? because they’re soulmates, exactlyyyyy.

I got invited to see a show for a band I love for free tomorrow but I looked at my bank account today and I have 36 dollars until tuesday after next and I have to drive an hour and a half to the cities to go to the concert (and back) and if we go out for food that’s gonna be like. I’ve been posting like 0-5 note OC drawings for a while at this point, and not here to complain about the notes, but I hate that I’m seriously considering if it’s worth it to go through and take all of my art down to avoid getting scraped by AI. Because I hate the idea of my art being used to train AI, and I hate that every website is selling out to AI in one way or another.

I guess my point is that I don’t want to be living in a world where my art that maybe reaches 7 people on a good day has to have extensive measures against AI theft placed on it so it won’t get chewed up by a machine and spat out again.

I don’t actually think it’d be good if they became canon right now. Both characters still have so much to recover from new 52-wise and making them lgbt could honestly maybe really fuck up the relatively good traction there’s been the last year or two for them (kind of. Cass is being featured in more stuff and spirit world has been excellent so far! tho unfortunately Steph still has a ways to go).
