I'm a recent-ish follower, so I'm a little curious about your background, were you at one point a swiftie, but got disenchanted with her and that's why you have this deep well of knowledge of and about her, or was she always like a parasocial enemy of yours. Ok, story time then. 🤗 First of all, I'm old af, I'm pushing 30s. (Más sabe el diablo por viejo que por diablo) 😅 So I've heard of ts ages ago but didn't care cause I didn't like her music. Never been a swi*ftie. 🤓

Then the whole Jake Gyllenhaal circus happened to the point that even Jake Gyllenhaal's sister was asked about that stupid scarf. That was the first time I properly noticed ts and I thought: what a despicable and petty girl she is. 🤮 But at least Jake Gyllenhaal had a decade long career so he was fine, and I didn't really think about her much after that.

Fast forward to 2016 when I went to see Ang Lee's new film because it's bloody Ang Lee, you know? And I'm glad I did cause it's one of my favorite films ever. And that is how I "met" Joe and completely fell in love with him. 🥰 And there were photos of him online being silly and goofy and adorable (and drunk 😹). And he was so nervous and sweet in interviews. It was just so easy to love him. 🥰🥰🥰

Can you even imagine how sad and disappointed and sorry I was for him when I found out he was dating ts? Cause I already knew what she will do to him. 😭 Like, I knew she will try to destroy Joe sooner or later and I knew that Joe won't have the decade long career Jake Gyllenhaal has to fall back on, when she tries to ruin his life. Call me Nostradamus. 😭

ALRIGHT. BE FOREWARNED it’s VERY embarrassing. I was young and stupid and homophobic by extension of living in a Christian conservative household. I was very sheltered, had extremely limited internet access- only being able to google images with permission at that time. so this is a recipe for disaster since I had no way of knowing the inevitable.

I was a BIG Voltron fan back when it was new. It was was what? 2016? 2017? Who knows. I was around 11-13 and emotionally stunted so. Shiro was my favorite character ever I loved him so much he was so so cool and the best!! I had a silly little crush on him, it was a whole thing. I made him and the rest of the cast on Tomodachi Life. I was serious about him, obviously.

When I was watching the latest season, there kept being flashback sequences where Shiro was remembering things and at one point there was some other guy in his home just arguing with him over something and I was like???? Who’s that?? Why is he mad at Shiro?

My parents suddenly stopped the show and was like “Oh no. I cannot believe this. They made Shiro a homosexual. Children, we can’t watch it anymore. Shiro is a gay man.”

It was his fucking boyfriend. I was so sheltered I didn’t even know what a mlm relationship looked like.

And I was like “HE’S GAYYYY?!?!!!” and straight up started BAWLING- I ran straight to my room and started ripping fanart I made of him out of my sketchbook and tore it to pieces and threw it around my room. This took like 30 minutes to do and I cried the entire time. My younger sisters were just. Following me to see my mental breakdown. Thanks girlies.

I scrambled to find our 3DS and booted up Tomodachi life and deleted EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE CHARACTERS OFF MY ISLAND. this took at least 20 minutes to find everything and actually do that and I cried the entire time. I never got to finish Voltron but frankly hearing how it ended maybe it was for the best. I’m not homophobic anymore but I heard it sucked.

for a long time i avoided the saw fandom but in the past few days i took a look again

i was one of the people who was there when we built the fandom. it existed before but in 2015-2019 we kinda came together as one and created a community. we were like about 50 *active* people on tumblr. we worked full time keeping the fandom alive and making content.

i remember when i wrote chainshipping fanfics we had about 30 existing works on ao3 and i remember when we came up with hoffstrahm (stroffman back then) and we were like "we hit 10 fanfics on ao3!" and if you saw viral tweets about saw during 2016-2019, that was me probably (and the tweet of leigh saying there was more to adam and lawrence relationship was also my edit... he did not say that, im sorry).

we had a theory that adams corpse wasnt really him but that they switched it with tapp's and everyone kinda took it as canon even though we knew it made no sense

but i think the most important part of everything was that the fandom came to life through trans people (mostly trans men and transmascs) and lesbians. there was barely any cishet person in the fandom and it was common knowledge that adam was a trans man (or trans in general) (also i dont know how its now, but him and diana as a father/daughter dynamic was a huge part of chainshipping) and amanda a lesbian. it was a fandom but it was also an lgbt community that felt like a little safe town for us

so after 2019, when saw became more popular i kinda retreated because it felt like an army marching into it and i guess i kinda overreacted, but it was something so dear to me and a huge part of my and other's lives and being trans, and it upset me in a way? (also autistics with a franchise/media as their special interest will know what i mean😭)

i remember seeing a meme that was like "only girls understand adam" and with the history of adam being like. the poster boy for a lot young trans boys it kinda hit the wrong spot, even if it wasnt serious at all

so a few days ago i saw some fanart by @turnipoddity and thought. let me check in, its been long enough.

seeing the amount of trans chainshipping fics on ao3 was so relieving and seeing posts that reminded me of back then showed me that, even with saw not being the little community we once had, there are still people that think the same way as we did and adam and amanda still being interpreted the same, too

i dont really know why im writing this exactly, but i needed to get it out of my system. i hope saw will continue to be as important to young lgbt folk as it was and is to us.

[To celebrate 400 followers I'm finally answering all these from my drafts :D]

28. What's a musical that you saw ages ago that you're still not over? What about it made you love it so much?

If watching a video counts as "seeing": Tanz der Vampire. I saw posters and ads on the street for the Helsinki 2016 production... but that was after it was already over, in April/May!!!!! I was so curious about it but forgot after the initial wondering. Then that summer I went to a two-week language camp/course in the UK (my first time abroad without parents!) where we were singing Total Eclipse in the music room and an older "camp counsellor" girl from Germany told us it's actually from a musical, and that night I took it as my sign to look it up and ended up watching sooo many clips on YouTube over and over for the rest of my time at that course, and eventually the whole 2005 proshot with English subs.

Something about it spoke to me in a way no other musical had before - I mean, I had liked POTO for years, that summer I also started listening to Hamilton, but neither of those rattled in my head to the same obsessive degree as TdV did <3

It came into my life at a special time, has come and gone since, and whenever I get back to it, it still hits the hardest out of any show I've ever watched. Whether it be the epic orchestral rock score (I'm not like an über Steinman fan but I like his stuff), the level of emotion (some would say melodrama <3) and the way the show itself has come to symbolise a lot of things to me over the years (freedom to leave an environment you're not happy in and remaking your life elsewhere; freedom to be yourself and go after what you want even if it goes against what's conventional or societally acceptable; the world belonging "to the shameless and the wicked" and the rest of us just having to roll with it). So yeah >:)

I've now seen TdV live three times: once in Stuttgart in autumn 2021, and twice in Hamburg this summer (2024). It wasn't perfect but it meant a lot :') I've also met Aris Sas and he liked my headcanons and hot takes, and wished me the best in my life and my studies 😭🙏

29. What's a musical that you used to really like but don't anymore? What made you fall out of love with it?

I think I'm falling out of love with Wicked!! It was one of the first shows I saw live (back in Finland) and that production left a lasting impression on me, but after seeing it in London twice (heheh) I think I'm satiated :') I will still want to see the movie though! I probably just won't have the energy to engage that much with the hot takes it will probably spawn kslsls. Plus I hate the discourse that the movie is stirring up about how the book is better and that should've been a movie instead dkkdldls. I think the book is kind of terrible and takes itself too seriously. Plus the sex scenes are bad bad bad bad....

Anyway - still like the musical, I think I have just overlistened to it and I don't usually find too much to "chew on" in the fandom space :D Especially since I don't know/care about Wizard of Oz lore 😭

30. What's a musical that's grown on you since you first saw it or listened to it? What made you appreciate it more?

Rudolf: Affaire Mayerling.......... I still think it's terrible but I keep making friends with people who know that it's inaccurate (and don't really care about defending its honor skkskd) and still love it for being camp 😭 I used to have a very negative view of it but now I can just listen to Du bleibst bei mir on repeat, enjoy wholeheartedly and pretend it's the whole show 😌 obligatory mention that I met and took a pic with Wietske at the Les Mis München stagedoor this year 😭😭😭😭🙏🙏

I'll try not to rant about every minor detail but basically it's a Slendermanison au that I've been expanding on for 6 years ! (Like 7-8 years if you count pre- creepypasta) (it didn't used to be Crp it was og Pokemon then turned into creepypasta

How I like to explain it is that it's (almost, some differences, mostly with Masky and Hoody) exactly wtf the 2016 slendermanison aus were like but time has passed (6 years to be exact) + My OCS cause I'm silly

Twilight, The first oc to actually live there, is an actual creepypasta OC (everyone else is kinda just a technicality) Mostly hangs out with Jeff, Toby, Ben, And EJ, is dating JTK

Sluurp (future social media) is absolutely covered with edits and fanfiction for fictionalized portrayals of US political figures. Bts hyyh merch guide (pt 1)

I'm going to make a merch guide to each of the eras to help people collect but I figured i'd start with hyyh since it was one of my favorites ₊✩‧₊˚౨ৎ˚₊✩‧₊

The obvious (albums):

There's a light blue and light pink for pt 1 and dark blue with dark pink for pt2 which im sure we all know by now but there was also a limited Taiwan edition!

As of right now these are kind of hard to find; but without pc only cost ~$30. Outside of the photocard/postcard the only real difference of these is the inclusion of the lyrics in chinese plus more cds. These were released only for pt 1 in both the white/pink versions!

The photocards are going to COST YOU though, with a general range of $150-200

There also was 2 Japan kayo nekka versions that had a inclusion of a dvd too. On the dvd was just the run mv plus a photo gallery. PLEASE do not buy the listings of people selling the cd alone with no photocard for around 100, if you look harder on ebay theres many for closer to 40 or 50!!

these photocard prices are even worse than the last, normally being 200 to 400 from what ive seen. at least youll have a easier time finding listings for these (┬┬﹏┬┬)

DVDS:

The first dvd for hyyh was in 2015 and was released on 160223, this one only covers the Seoul concerts (which were the first 3). The first 2 dvds show the last day of the in Seoul concert, and the last one has 5 performances in Japan, VCR making film, prologue, rehearsals, practice making films and concert making films. The 2nd dvd also includes a VCR interview and talk about hyyh. All in all this is 346 minutes long :) If your lucky you can get this for $100 no pc but I would count on it being 200-370. The pc normally is around 100 too 😭

2016 live on stage epilogue dvd - This included of course film of the concert but also the poster and bridge shoot, md shooting film, concert practice and concert making film. you can find links to watch it for free with english subs here!

This dvd will cost around 170-200 and most (thankfully) have pc included. The pc alone will probablyyyy cost you around 60 even though ive seen ones way lower (you have to just look hard).

Theres also a blue ray version for around 95-160 (originally sold for $53.78) This one I THINK has the same stuff on it but its only in 2 dvds. I really cant tell if the postcards were a pre order benefit or not plus if it came as a set or random. Theres barely any listings for these but they only go for like $30 each (its like a breath of fresh air typing a price that low)

2016 BTS LIVE Kayo Nenka on stage epilogue Japan Edition Deluxe Edition DVD - this was released on January 18, 2017 so you should notttt be spending anywhere near as much (id guess 60-90?) This comes with 2 discs,the limited edition has a 132 page photobook and has bluray plus dvd but the regular just has the bluray no photobook. There is also a regular version with just dvd. These ones are the regular:

The regular is really hard to find nowadays but I think the general price range is 50-80??

Concert merch:

This hoodie only came in one size, Im not too sure the price of the zip up but the normal hoodie for the epilogue was $30.42 so we can assume it was about the same. nowadays expect to pay 200-600 for it LMAO

The shirt came in medium and large, i cant find any pricing info or current listings for this but i would assume it would be in the hundreds. The problem is theres so many unofficial shirts with this pattern being sold so it drowns out all the official listings. you MIGHT have luck getting this on some old instagram or tumblr account though!

one size beanie- current cost is around $200 but older accounts on twitter or tumblr sell for $45. yall im gonna be honest I cant find the post for the 2015 tour merch for the LIFE of me so im not going to know any original prices

bandana 600x600- GOOD LUCK BUYING THIS THING only place i can find listings is carousell which were all really cheap (~$15) but then again they are old listings.

Hi hi! :D Whenever I get ask about favorite dramas my perspective always seems to change as time goes by tbh! Here's an old ask from 2021 that included my favorite kdramas — but now I'm honestly really picky with what I call a "favorite" drama. Like yes, I still very much enjoyed past ones I called a favorite but if I had to put it in a category it'd be that I just enjoyed it a lot in the moment. If that makes any sort of sense 😭 For a drama to be a favorite I literally need to feel some sort of attachment to it. So if I would give a list of fave kdramas it would literally be like just one ngl 😅 But anyways I'll list kdramas that I enjoyed watching and would recommend giving a try! They are family and childhood best friends, and after being in each other’s lives for so long, they fell in love when they were extremely young, so what they did was get together at age 12 (she was a placeholder for him, and he admitted to her). The story of how they got together is that these two got off on the wrong foot after meeting each other through his mom and grandmother when they were kids, so it began the enemies to frenemies phase. Then, after breaking up with Rome, she decided to take a short break from dating to focus on healing until she told her close friends, family, and members she was ready to date again. These two were set up on a blind date in early 2017 by their moms so they could get them to shut up.

They hit it off together so fast that everyone wasn’t shocked, but they both decided to take it slow and not rush this, so a few months later, they became an official couple and were so all in they decided to get engaged and married each other all in the same year. (Some songs on Sweetener are about him). They had massive crushes on each other while being enemies, too (I’ll go into more detail about this later and I got heavy inspo from Ariana’s short engagement with Pete Davidson).

Hello! I'm happy... or content, happy sounds in a wavelength a bit extreme.

July finished and I have new projects to work on. Isn't it a bit weird that just the change of days from 30/31 to 1 also change so many things?! Like, they're just two consecutive days, but... objectively? They're so far apart. It's weird.

I would rather change projects when I finish some, but like that's not really happening soon, I will have to be weird too.

I didn't think about doing a sort of 'closing of the month'... that makes me remember Patreon and it's nothing fond to remember, so... but I do want to share the big chunk of words I wrote last month! (Yesterday! And the thirty days before it!)

So, for July I wrote an impressive account of 25.770 words. I worked mostly in Iron Valley (with 9.725 words - and still didn't get to finish the first day of Linney's Campaign), and here on Tumblr (counting the words of all my posts, adding to a 7.421 total). I also wrote more of Mimi that I remember... oh, yeah! I finished Chapter 4, finally (with 5.849 words, not the chapter per sé, it has a lot more words than that). There were a few other things, but that was the biggest part of the whole account.

This month, though, even when I want to still write on Mimi and Iron Valley and maybe other stories, my priority is to make an outline of AngelDemon.

I initially wrote it around 2015~2016, a story from a perspective of an angel and a demon, the same story. I wanted to remake it (the same way as every other old project) because I'm intending to take part in an award competition I no longer remember the name of next year (because it's impossible for me to make it this year). I have a plan that I expect to adhere to and it starts with this month of making an outline. I'm going to read that old work to take the information from there to make the outline. So at least for this month, it should be easy to write about other things too... let's see how much of that is true.

I forgot about 4thewords until this precise moment, but as this is the last writing of the day, I will be using all the other writing to make out the first part of it.

I will continue battling these dudes, though

I didn't know until today how I was really going to work on it, and how it's a double POV story with the same amount of chapters (26) on each side, I think I will work on one chapter of each per day. I did so today, I doubt the chapters are too long to be difficult to work with. I started doing bullet points, but finished developing those bullet points in concise, precise information for the future, to try to erase the need to reread while rewriting next month.

The point is that it was successful.

Pretty very much successful. And I'm very content.

I’ve been been curious about gaylor and larrie since 2014. Around then I was far more swiftie than 1D fan, but the rumors about Harry’s sexuality were everywhere and it made me wonder why ALL of Taylor’s exes had those rumors. I was curious about her, but more intrigued by what was going on with Harry, (the muse of 1989? the cute boybander who’s in all the blind gossip? the most awkward NYE kiss ever guy? I needed to know more!) and immediately fell down the larry rabbit hole. The boys had my full on attention until hiddleswift was the most PR “couple” to ever exist and I NEEDED to know why none of Taylor’s relationships were ever real yet she was able to write incredible music about love? This led to that (aka several swiftgron and kaylor masterposts later) and I became a full on believer of gaylor in 2016. It’s been a wild ride watching how far larry and tay have come since I first started paying attention.

As I said in my bio I’m open to discussing all ships and theories, but I personally think Taylor is currently single, Toe was PR, and she *definitely* has (pretty loudly) dated several women. I believe that Harry and Louis DEFINITELY were together in the past, possibly are now, and it was/is some deeep deeeeeep love. I believe they all have some sort of control over their public narrative, but currently feel pressured to navigate their lives within a closet due to the homophobic nature of their industry (and the world).

I am open to any interpretations you have of their art or their actions, but please be aware I will not be swayed to stop viewing them through a queer lens. There’s just too much to back it up.
