i need to know if we ever get jealous of eddie’s said short lived relationships. do we ever try to sabotage them? or are we the type to try and get along with them and thats when they’re like “oh no you two need to be together?”
(i know the answer in my heart but i want to hear what you think lol)
ex husband!eddie x reader
whaaat? sabotage eddie's relationships? that's diabolical. why on earth would we do that?
that one time we showed up to his house wearing a sundress after months of wearing sweats was TOTALLY unplanned! we had a date, after all.
and that one time we were dancing with eddie at the family bbq, rocking out to all our favorite songs like careless teenagers right in front of girlfriend #3 was all a ploy by our kiddos! right, kids? right? we do everything for the kids. they love seeing their parents happy and getting along. right, kids?
and are you really still on about the day of eli's talent show?? 🤦🏻‍♀️ we only asked girlfriend #9 to take a family photo of us because she was the only one that was around. that's all 😇 and she shouldn't be mad at us! eli LOVES taking pics with mommy and daddy. who is she to get in the way of a family, especially when kids are involved 🤨😤 (also, we didn't MAKE eddie place his hand where he did in the pictures. he literally did it by himself, on his own terms.)💋
...okay, bunnie you got me! we know damn well what we're doing 😅 but quite frankly, so does eddie.
Tumblr media
you've got a date with david tonight. in fact, eddie knows was nice enough to house sit for you and help the kids with homework. an innocent, sweet little gesture. right?
you and david are watching a movie on his couch and things are getting steamy really fast. david is about to kiss you when...
RING! RING!
you pull away immediately. checking your phone to see who it is, you realize,
"it's my ex husband, that fucker. the house better be burning down." you go to answer it. "yes?"
“hey, sweetheart, this is eddie...the banished." he greets you. “i can't seem to find the measuring tape and was wondering if you knew where it was."
you're unsure as to why he would even need measuring tape. regardless, you reply,
"it's in with drawer of miscellaneous stuff. the one by the kitchen sink.”
"ahh, that's right. found it. thanks, babe."
but that's not the only useless call of the night. as your date with david continues, the calls keep coming through in seemingly calculated intervals. at the worst possible times. with the most irrelevant fucking questions.
“i can't find the baking soda." “where do you keep the batteries? the c batteries not the double As." "hey, just a heads up, you might wanna call somebody for this pipe." "what's the wifi password again?"
"EMUNSON1986!" you hiss. "the year you graduated high school."
"aww, really?" eddie coos. "that's endearing. thanks baby."
eventually after an hour, the calls stop. you and david were able to finish the movie, and get back to that steamy interaction before you were spammed mercilessly. david is now fiddling with your straps as you two are kissing, his available hand grazing your lower back, breath hitching when —
RING! RING!
"jesus h CHRIST!" you howl. "it's midnight for god's sake. this better be important. HELLO?”
"sorry," eddie mumbles on the other line. "remind me, i'm looking at your snake plant and was wondering how often these guys need watering? they look a little parched."
"once a day and i already did it," you say through gritted teeth.
"it's a new day, should they be watered again?"
"don't worry about it, eds."
"i always worry, sweetheart.”
david happens to hear this. giving you a side eye now, your date watches as you stay on the line with eddie for a couple of minutes. finally, you get eddie to agree to stop calling, which fills you with relief when you hang up the phone. your eyes then travel back to david, whom you begin to bat your flirty lashes at.
"now." you say. "where were we?"
"you should probably go home," david huffs. "looks like the fort still needs holding down."
you're seeing absolute red now. you are seething. that motherfucker.
your drive home is an angry, and sexually frustrated one. you can't believe eddie would sabotage your date like this, your only fun night out this week. he's in for it now.
"date ended early sweetheart?" eddie pouts at you the moment you walk into your house.
"bedroom," you order. "now."

as promised... something!
....::::**•°✾°•**::::........::::**•°✾°•**::::.... ....::::**•°✾°•**::::....
She hears the distinctive sound of the WhatsApp video call. Its weird when they're in different countries, the mode of communication changes time and time again to avoid crazy roaming charges. She's used to being able to call him quick using the regular phone app, to see if he wanted her to pick up dinner or to ask him nicely if he would switch her laundry out for her.
It's weird to start over on another app, it almost feels like they're starting another relationship. It feels so different. The inside jokes and frequent questions about the HBO password are nowhere to be found, in it's place is an empty blank page, waiting hopefully to be filled with the same.
She picks up her phone from the edge of the bed and swipes to answer the call. She looks at the time when she does, 10:04, almost five minutes late for their scheduled call.
At least that has stayed the same.
The slight hum of the highway plays in the background, and there Andrew sits. He looks tired, but not over consumed. It's a good kind of tired, like the kind you get after a good, but long day. More of a content-tired. His hair is in the messiest bun possible, obvious that he needed it out of the way and had lost all ability to care. He's got his glasses on, and Y/N remembers when he Facetimed her from the eye doctor to see if they looked good before he ordered them.
She internally thinks that they still do.
"Hey love", he finally speaks between bites of a sandwich. She looks down at the table the phone is propped on, and sees the distinctive red and white wrappings.
"Are you kidding, you went to Wawa without me..."
"I'm sorry! The band voted before we left Philly! I told them you'd be mad but they don't seem to care about my marriage so... I had to"
"This is a betrayal, of the highest degree. I can't picture a world where I can forgive you"
"If I could ship one across the Atlantic to you, you know I would"
There is a few beats of silence, they both know that statement means more than just a sandwich.
She finally breaks,
"How are you holding up?"
"Eh, not bad. I've not been this tired in a while but I'll get used to it soon. I've done it before."
"It's quiet in the bus, where is everyone else?"
"Sleeping"
"So everyone else is sleeping and you stayed up to call me?
He takes another bite of his sandwich before answering simply,
"Yeah."
She stares at him through the phone as he keeps eating like he doesn't understand the niceness of his actions, it's just second nature to him.
"Thank you," she says, voice full of genuine earnestness.
He doesn't respond to that, instead, he switches to another topic. He doesn't feel like he needs thanks for his actions, he would rather thank her for being around to call him.
"How are you at home, everything good?"
"Yeah, there was a dead bird in the yard yesterday, Elwood found it while we were playing, he almost picked it up but I got to him before he did. That's honestly the most exciting thing that's happened here since you left."
"But that's the joy of the country isn't it, that nothing ever happens?"
"Yeah. But I would rather do nothing with you than do nothing alone"
There's a long stretch of silence between them before Andy notices a tear fall down Y/N's cheek. There are no other signs of her sadness, no shaking shoulders or audible sounds. Just a few gentle tears that he would've missed if he wasn't so utterly enraptured by her face on the five-inch screen. His heart breaks.
"Hey hey, it's ok love, it's just a bit longer. I'll be home for a break in a few weeks. "
"I know. It's just really hard."
He doesn't know what to say to that at first. He wants to hammer on about how she knew what she was getting into, and this was an inevitability. But he knew she knew that. Him repeating it isn't going to make either of them feel any better. The next part of him yearned to just get on a plane and be at home, but that wasn't fair to anyone. Not his bandmates, not the concertgoers, and not Andy who loved what he did more than anything.
All he could say was
"I know."
You imagine the separation being hard but no one really prepares you for it. You can't prepare for it. It's the pain of losing a routine and a lover all at once. It's the frustration of needing help, of needing someone to take something off your plate and having someone willing to, but that someone is 1000 miles away. Literally.
She's crying a little harder now, still silent, with the tears increasing in frequency and size. He says again,
"I know. I know how hard it is cause I feel it too. You know what I miss the most right now?"
"What?"
"I miss the things that you do that piss me off. The annoying stuff. I miss how you always steal bites of my food."
She can't help but laugh at that. He keeps talking,
"I miss how cold your feet are and how you're always trying to shove them under me to warm them. And how often you leave dirty clothes on the floor."
She joins in this time,
"I miss your hair clogging the shower drain. And how you use every possible dish when you cook."
"See, doesn't it hurt a little less knowing that you don't have to unclog the shower for a while?"
"Yeah, and I'm sure you sleep easier without my cold feet poking you."
Theres another small pause, but this one is not as sad as the rest of them. This one feels like two people comfortable with each other, just basking in the silence, feeling no pressure.
"It sucks love, it really does. But it gets easier. And there are less shitty days. And it's not for forever."
"Ok, it's shitty, but I've felt shittier. And it's not for forever."
"Yeah."
"OK," she says, wiping her eyes a bit to try to show a bit of a braver face, "this is getting kind of bummer-ish, talk to me a bit about tour stuff"
For the rest of the call, he prattled on about various events and hijinks at his shows, on the road, and in between. About halfway through the story, he realized that she had fallen asleep and for some reason, he finished the story before hanging up. Possibly hoping that she would wake back up, but mostly enjoying the domestic feeling of talking to her. He eventually hung up, settling with the fact that she was indeed asleep for real. A few hours and a timezone later after he woke up from his own nap, he noticed a WhatsApp message again,
I forgot the HBO password again...

AS SAID BY KASUMI GOTO *  assorted dialogue from mass effect 2 and 3, adjust as necessary
i swear to god, i didn't touch anything.
in case i don't see you again, thanks. that was a lot of fun.
and the "boxers or briefs" question is finally answered.
there's a certain aura about you. like you've seen things no one else has.
there's no way you're recruiting me to fight in a galactic war.
i wouldn't bring you here if it wasn't dangerous.
this is our stop.
you say the nicest things.
i'm a thief. stealing? it's who i am.
by the way, are you going to call security?
hey, come on. i never get caught.
ugh, i really need to avoid dairy.
you know, twenty years from now, this could be worth a fortune.
all right. i'm in.
nice working with you again.
this place has more money than it knows what to do with.
well... nobody's perfect.
hey, i'm nostalgic, not dead.
i like the seedier towns. they're prettier.
maybe when we're done with the mayhem thing, i could come back and... recover a thing or two.
now stop bothering me!
this is all i have left.
i imagine with all that's happened, old friends are becoming a luxury.
you know what i haven't had in ages? ramen.
come back later. i'm sure i'll have more to talk about.
i'm not really sure what to do with myself.
i'll stay off the grid. no one will know i exist.
well, that didn't go as expected.
we've never seen each other in person.
no one knows what i look like.
if we're lucky, you won't even have to draw your gun.
i always expect trouble. that's why you're here.
we should probably wrap this up.
see you on the ship.
you'd look really out of place at a society party in armor, don't you think?
i was just thinking about you.
i go through everyone's drawers.
[name] won't be able to keep his eyes off you.
getting it back will be easier with your help.
please tell me your password, [name].
good to finally meet you. i'm a fan.
my grandmother used to make the best ramen.
honestly, i'm shocked they didn't come to see me sooner.
it's my fault for being hard to find.
i'm the best thief in the business, not the most famous. need to watch my step to keep it that way.
i needed to make sure all this was legit.
you're the real deal.
even without knowing what you looked like, i knew it was you.
that's a bit of a story.
they were looking for me, so i trailed them to find out why.
i guess it slipped their minds.
i'm planning to get it back.
you'll get a briefing when the time comes.
i have a way in, and i think you're going to love it.
you'll want to look presentable.
you look great. you should wear this stuff more often.
you have been waiting patiently.
they won't hassle you over a sidearm.
you have excellent taste in underwear.
i thought about living here for a while, but everybody's so tight-ass.
it's all about money to these people.
i do what i do for the love of it. these people do it because they don't know any better.
i'm not a scientist.
this is why i don't put strange liquids in my mouth.
it's a plant!
was i that obvious?
people are talking out there... and i hear it all.
sounds like you two had a nice date.
it's nice to be able to look out a window for a change.
how many bedrooms does this place have?
i'm not really lactose intolerant, i just don't put up with lactose's stupid drama.
there's something about the feel of actual paper in your hands.

When non-hierarchal decision making breaks down
I already posted this here but I wanted to make it into a post of its own. There are a lot of things that can go wrong in non-hierarchical decision making. This post will be focusing on what coordinators (assigned or informal) can do that can undermine the non-hierachical nature of the group and can put more power in the hands of the coordinator.
Within groups genuinely committed to non-hierarchy, everybody needs to be committed to maintaining a space where it is always socially acceptable to say ‘I think you’re having too much power over this decision making process’ and we all gotta teach each other how to recognize dynamics like that.
Some examples of what to look for:
One person is coordinator for a long time and takes offense at the idea of someone else taking over. Someone taking over would not be seen as a normal rotation of tasks but as a judgement on the coordinator.
Alternatively: a group of close friends rotate key positions and nobody else in the group ever holds a key role.
The coordinator proposes what must be done, instead of letting the group come up with ideas together. The thing the coordinator wants to do ends up being the thing the group decides to do a lot of the time.
Some people talk far more in meetings than others and the coordinator does not take steps to restore the balance and create space for the quieter members to speak.
If the coordinator is sick, the meeting does not happen or no key decisions are made. If anyone else is sick, the meeting carries on as usual.
Meeting dates and times are set by the coordinator alone or by a small group who inform the others.
Access tools such as keys to the meeting space, access to the back account and passwords of the groups email-addresses, website and social media accounts, are not shared with the whole group.
Important skills, knowledge and networks are not shared. Group members with a less central position can not take over key tasks because they have not been allowed to learn how to do them or build the connections to organize them.
The key decision makers all live in the same house or hang out together a lot, other members find that the plan is already 90% done by the time the actual meeting takes place and they can’t really go in a different direction anymore.
Members that challenge the coordinator(s) are ‘accidentally’ not invited to meetings or meetings are always planned on a day when they have other obligations.
Meetings in which the coordinator(s) does not get their way are dragged on until members get too tired and agree to the coordinators proposal to get out of the meeting.
Members that challenge the coordinator(s) are told they’d have a bigger part in decision making if they’d do more work, attend more meetings, etc. A few members use the fact that they have a lot of time and a lot of energy to dominate groups and efuse to change their decision making process and meeting schedule to better incorporate members who have a demanding job, or young kids, or who are often low on energy or who can’t travel much, etc. This often ends up putting marginalized people on the side lines, as they often have a lot more stuff on their plate to deal with, and it especially impacts disabled people who can not conform to abled ideas about productivity. At worst, people who can’t keep up with the grueling pace set by the high-energy abled folks face to choice to either burn out or get out.
This is an incomplete list. Feel free to add your own.
None of this means that non-hierarchical decision making can not work. I would argue that it is the only decision making that really works. But we have to keep working at it and recognizing when it's not functioning as intended and we have to be ready to accept the idea that our decision making process needs to be improved upon.

RWTGI 36 - 37.2 Thoughts
Forgive the 3 chapters at once, lol. If you want to read my thoughts on the latest chapter, it's on down below!
Chapter 36
If you tell me 2 years ago that Yoshino would sleep in the corridor to wait for Kirishima, I would laugh in your face. I never thought this day would come when she's genuinely worried for him.
Tumblr media
(Then again, he almost died trying to save her and they have been close lately, so that's fair)
WOW okay queen, slayy. Ugh those pillows look so soft-
That aside, I was shocked. I get that she was too tired to change, but really Asuka? Really? Blatant fanservice outta nowhere? Is she trying to grab the male demographic too? Not that it didn't grab the females already with that kind of bod-
WHY do we get Yoshino's full bod, yet we only get a glimpse of Shouma's abs? I demand equality.
Oh Yoshino. What are you, a dog? How could you differentiate Kiri's smell amongst all else??
Wow Kiri really uses his room as a front. He really didn't lie when he said he can't sleep near anyone's presence. He's like an animal hiding inside a deep cave. And to think his real bedroom is the same place where he often received his punishment.
In the raws, Yoshino actually says in a small note, "That's so typical of Kirishima (to keep things spotless)..."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I remember when Kiri always tidied up Yoshino's mess. I thought he only did it because it's for her, but to think he also keep his own place spotless... Does he have OCD? Then again, serial killers like keeping their place clean-
Question: If Kirishima is inside, how the hell did he lock his place using that kind of lock?
It's giving the vibe of a villain' secret lair.
Why is the room so cold though. I thought it's still October/November. Did he not install a heater there, or did he intentionally blast an AC to freeze some randos who try to break in?
My heart JUMPED when I saw him in the corner of the panel. That panel placement is a genius.
I was so relieved when I see him 🥺🥺 I'm glad he's not masochistic enough to keep his wounds infected. At least he got some treatment (hopefully from the hospital, but I'll take what I can get).
Wow, she really made sure she didn't see a dead body.
SCREAMING CREAMING CRYING.
Asuka really knows how to make a cliffhanger.
THANK YOU for the precious glossary, scans team! 💞😭
Chapter 37.1
Awright! Yoshino and Kirishima finally meet! This means Yoshino would call Shouma about Kirishima so he won't report this incident to Renji! Right?
Judging by his passwords, I thought I was getting better at reading him. Turns out he intentionally made it easier to guess? Wow, way to make a person feel like an idiot.
He really takes Tsubaki's advice to heart 🤣 Starting to regret the time when you burn those albums, don't you.
(Did he burn his all his photos because of sentimental reason, or because he didn't want his enemies to find his weakness?)
Okay, so he really went to the hospital. Good.
Kiri got to have some serious enemies if he only goes to a hospital he could trust.
It's been hammered down again and again that he has no one he completely trust except Yoshino. I hate this kind of set up. It's cliché, yet, it's still playing with my heart.
The way he tried to warm her nosee aughh
Those movements, and no resistance from Yoshino at all?? This is new. She must be really worried and thankful to even care about their positions.
Kirishima, you really said some crazy stuff sometimes.
What. The fuck. Do you mean. You're prepared. To be a missing person. And. To be. An unnamed corpse. Just. To keep. Yoshino. Safe.
I know I said he's unhinged, but he still managed to shock me. I'm impressed.
Istg he's really testing my heart lately. Wdym I'm gonna fall again for Miyama Kirishima. It's not gonna happen?? (It happens)
Still no phone call for Shouma. I hope it's on the next chapter.
Chapter 37.2
Woow, a lot of subtext in this episode. You really need to read between the lines to understand their convo.
Everybody trust Kirishima enough (due to his track records) to protect Yoshino so they're not worried for her safety at all; if anything, it'd be Soumei Renji who's in most trouble.
Basically, Renji from Kirigaya Group (Kansai region) has many enemies because he made a pact with Gaku from Tokusa Group (Kantou region) -- to form a peaceful(?) alliance; despite their clashing ideals. Renji also negotiated for his group to join Kantou region despite the difference in region. Both regions have been on feud for 60 years and it should be for a good reason, so there must be a lot of people within Kirigaya and Tokusa who weren't happy with this joint. (I have to revisit ch 1, 7, & 8 to understand this, sigh). Just a reminder, there was a similar attempt in the past, but it ended with a gang war.
Tumblr media
Dang, so even Suo Azami's real identity is faked.
Azami is a drug and weapon dealer?? Fuck.
If we remember ch 26, Akame Hishibe from Tokusa and Azuma Narumi from Kirigaya are conspiring against Renji. Narumi probably aimed to be Kirigaya's number 1 after Renji died, but what about Hishibe? What's his aim? Kirishima said Azami is currently used by yakuza. Could it be, Hishibe made Azami kill Renji because he promised him he'd make a huge profit from drugs and weapons because there's gonna be a gang war once Renji is dead?
I strayed off, lol. Anyways, back to the chapter.
So, as long as Renji is unaware of Yoshino's kidnap, she and Kirishima could live together happily ever after. Now please call Shouma that Kirishima is back safely so he won't have to tell Renji, please.
Tumblr media
Wow Kirishimaa. He is so stupidly honest, but sometimes he's such a crafty little shit. This is the same when he agreed to do paper-rock-scissors with Yoshino because he's aware he'd win. He made Yoshino think she has her own choice, when in fact it's all a set up by him. Real glad Yoshino busted his ass this time though, he can't get away with this forever.
Asuka be trying real hard with this whole show-don't-tell, huh. In short, Kirishima finally told Yoshino directly that he's been obsessed interested in her since 12 years old. He's so in love with her, to the point where her small quirk is so endearing to him. Without her, he would've been bored to death. He'd rather die without her, but he'd do his best to live if he's with her.
Sad, but Yoshino couldn't understand his devotion. She thought based on her understanding, love is something that'd wear out sooner or later. She couldn't really rely on Kirishima's feeling forever; and thus, she payed him with money as an insurance because money's value won't change while feelings might change; or at least that's her logic.
(After all the buildup, she still couldn't trust him completely. Is this bc she's traumatized with his drastic change in ch 2? 😭 Wow Kirishima, you fucked up big time)
Tumblr media
Woow Yoshino, way to gaslight him what he feel is not love 😂 when your understanding of 'love' is probably just a crush 🤣
Tumblr media
Does she realize if they managed to catch Suo Azami, they're essentially preventing a gang war? Probably not.
Tumblr media
Heh. She covered her nose because it's cold. Cute.
Tumblr media
Wdym she placed herself in that side of the bed. She won't be able to escape easily in that position. Kirishima could just lean to her side with his uninjured hand. Is she not sus Kirishima would do something to her? And why she sleep with him in the first place when she could just go back to her room? She really trust him now, huh.
The tearrss. Is that a tear of relieve, happiness? Or is that a tear of tiredness, lol.
Aww, Kiri. He used to say he can't sleep with anyone's presence including Yoshino, but look at him now 🥹
I am glad you guys made a stronger team than ever, but
CAN SOMEONE CONTACT SHOUMA SO HE WON'T TELL ON RENJI PLEASE??
Damn this turned out much longer than I expected, lmao. But that's because these chapters have been bombs. Can't wait for the next one! XD

📱 - Contact
My whole body is shaking as I go to turn on my phone. I have to take a few steps just to climb on it and press the home button hard enough. As expected, it doesn't recognize my fingerprint. I imagine that's probably difficult since my hand is almost smaller than the button now.
After the third try, it finally gives me the option to type in my password manually. Thank goodness this phone regularly requires my password for Touch ID because I never use it otherwise and I'd be screwed right now.
My phone unlocks, and all my apps light up the home screen. I try to ignore the fact that each one is just about the size of my entire face. I find my contacts list and begin to use my fist to scroll through all the names. Who could I trust? Like really trust? Who do I know that might be careful, someone kind of quiet, someone who might be nice about this?
Who would believe me in this situation anyway?
I pause when my eye catches a certain name: Sam. He's in my class, maybe a few months older than me, and he talks to most people in my friend group a lot. We've talked before, even though he's usually quiet, and he's a pretty chill dude. I don't know him as well as some of my other friends, but I trust him. I don't even know what some of my other friends would think of me like this anyway.
I take a deep breath of 'enough is enough' and select his name. He's probably my best chance. I move to the texting option and begin to type.
Me: hey, r u busy? i need sum help
Sam replies not thirty seconds later. Thank goodness he's being quick.
Sam: what's up?
Me: can u go 2 the bathroom by the junior hallway pls
Wow it's really hard to type like this. I try not to think about the reason why.
Sam: you ok?
Me: not relly i just need u to come here
Sam: are you sick? Should I get one of the nurses?
Me: nononono i need u, no nurse
Sam: aight I'm omw
Sam: care to share why you need my help?
Me: u'll see when u get here just pls don't frek out
Sam: ok but you still won't tell me what's going on, so no promises
Me: pls pls don't
Sam: you're in the junior bathroom, right?
Me: ye
Sam: ok, almost there
Sam: sorry I was all the way in band but we weren't doing anything important
Me: oh sorry u had to miss it
Sam: no it's fine, I said we weren't doing anything important, dw
Me: can u just promisd u'll keep an open minx?
Sam: I can try, but it'll be easier not to "frek out" if you just tell me what happened
Me: even if i tell u u won't beleive me
Sam: ???
Me: and no u'd probly frek oit more
Sam: what's that supposed to mean???
Me: just get in here
Me: pls don't frek out
Me: pls
My limbs shake more and more as I type. I shiver at the realization that every minute that passes he gets closer, closer to finding me like this. Better him than...well, pretty much anyone else, but I still have no idea how he'll react. Maybe he won't be so nice after all, maybe he'll be super rough, maybe he'll want to keep me, maybe he'll go around everywhere showing me to everyone in the whole scho-
*creak*
Shit, that was loud.
"Jamie?"
Shit, that was really loud. Why are bathrooms always so acoustic??
"Where are you?"
I'm next to a stall, practically underneath a door, on the opposite end of the bathroom, opposite of Sam, who finally comes into my view as he rounds the corner in the entryway.
Holy shit. He's enormous.
I always knew Sam was slightly on the taller end of the general high school population, but now it shows like never before. His long and lanky six feet or so totally dwarfs my now few inches. I can't help the involuntary shudder that makes its way through my tiny body.
Maybe this was a really bad idea after all. He hasn't seen me yet; maybe I can still hide, and at least warn him about what's happening before he does find me—
"Jamie?"
Sam says it much quieter this time. I freeze. I slowly turn to look up at the source of his voice and carefully meet his brown eyes. They're staring right at me. SHIT.
Sam starts to walk closer and crouches down. I immediately back away and curl into myself, shutting my eyes tight, like that will do anything to protect me from his giant person. Bad idea, bad idea. I can hear the fabric of his hoodie and jeans shifting and brushing against each other as he moves closer.
Then nothing. It’s silent. What's he doing?
I carefully, slowly lift my head to see him. He's gotten to the floor, and his legs are sitting crisscross while he slightly leans over me, hopefully unintentionally looming immensely over my minuscule form.
"Jamie..." It's almost quieter than a whisper, but still enough to make me flinch. "Whoa, hey, just relax buddy, it's ok..."
With my eyes trained on his face, trying to search for any sign of awe, fascination, or desire to keep me, I find nothing but wonder and concern, and also completely miss the large digits of his fingers coming towards me until it's too late.
I suppress a scream but it still comes out as a yelp as his hand brushes behind my entire body and fingers curl around my front to secure me gently. My stomach gets left on the floor, no matter how slowly he's trying to lift his hand. He brings me unnervingly close to his face and I have to shut my eyes tight. This isn't happening. This isn't happening.
"You ok, Jamie?" I open my eyes on instinct from hearing my name. He's so big!
"Sorry I scared you, man." Sam glances away guiltily for a moment before turning back to face me. "You just didn't look very comfortable on the floor."
I just shake my head. I'm scared that if I try to say anything that nothing will come out.
"Do you feel ok?"
Even though I'm scared out of my mind, some other part of me reminds my brain that this is Sam, and that he won't hurt me, and I'm pretty sure I'm ok physically, just stupid small, so I nod.
"W-what am I… gonna… do?" It takes a ridiculous amount of courage for me just to ask the question, and I see Sam's face shift in thought at hearing it.
"I...I'm not entirely sure..."
Suddenly the bell rings and I immediately clasp my hands over my ears. The sound breaks through easily, mercilessly piercing my eardrums with a sharp, sickening shriek. Why me? Why me?
My ears are still ringing when it's over so I don't realize that it's actually stopped until I feel something large and warm nudge my side. I flinch, and it takes a moment to click that it was one of Sam's fingertips. I shiver again but still try my best to stay calm as the horrible ringing fades.
"You ok?" Sam asks in a concerned tone with a worried look in his eye.
I nod before realization hits me. The bell just rang. Class is over, and this bathroom is often a between-class haven for the upperclassmen. It could be even worse now that it's 3:00. People could come in here at any moment.
"Sam. H-hide me." I ask softly.
"What?"
"Sam, please, I-I need you to hide me. No-no one can see me like this."
"What? But why? You're so cute!" Sam has a slightly joking tone in his voice but if that was an attempt to make me feel better it didn't work. If anything, it backfired. Now I'm just embarrassed and flustered as well as terrified.
"No, no no no, please. Sam."
Sam's facial expression morphs into something that I can't quite read. Confusion? Disappointment? Worry?
"Please." I know I must sound so stupid, weak and helpless. Begging him like this feels so wrong, but I don't really have a choice.
"Ok. Hang on..." Sam warns me gently before he slowly begins to stand and I have to shut my eyes and cling to his thumb for dear life. The force of gravity tries desperately to draw me back to the hard, unforgiving floor, but is all but stopped by a giant hand that keeps rising.
When it all stops moving, I open my eyes to see Sam has stood to his full height, and he's holding me about at his upper chest level. It seems so high up at this size but for some reason it doesn't bother me nearly as much as it probably should. Sam puts something in his jean pocket with his other hand, and it must have been my phone. He looks around, seemingly trying to think up ideas about the situation. He seems to get one and looks down to me.
"How about I keep you in my pocket?" I freeze up. "Well I can't really use my hands if I'm holding you like this, plus people could see you."
"O-ok." It takes me a few seconds to answer but it makes sense. I suppose it's not the worst idea, but that doesn't make me any more enthusiastic about it.
Sam nods and carefully lowers me to the hoodie pocket by his waist. It's dark, and warm from him wearing it all day, but the sensation isn't unbearable. I'd even maybe say it's almost comforting.
"You good in there?" Sam whispers.
"Yeah," I call out quietly, but loud so he can still hear me.
"Ok, I'm leaving now, try to stay quiet."
As Sam's motions indicate him walking away from the bathroom and to God knows where, I can't stop rebellious tears that escape my eyes. This situation is so weird, so stupid, so pathetic. Why me?
I must have gotten caught up in my spiraling, because the next thing I know Sam is patting me softly through his hoodie pocket, and I can hear the muffled hum of a bus engine.
"You holding up alright in there?" Sam whispers at me.
I peek my head out from the edge to look at him. It's an awkward angle from a weird position, but he's just patiently sitting and waiting for an answer, looking at me with curiosity and concern.
I nod, but I'm still confused about something. "W-why are we on the bus? Are... are you... taking me home with you?" I manage to get the question out, despite the shaking in my voice.
"Well, yeah, I'm guessing you can't really get home on your own, with or without being seen, so I just kinda thought you'd wanna come with me. And it's Friday, so maybe we can figure this out over the weekend."
The information takes its time to sink in, and when it does I try to stifle it but end up choking on a soft sob.
"Whoa, Jamie, you ok? If you don't want to that's fine, I can-"
"No no, n-no it's fine, just..." There's so much I want to say, but all I can manage is a few words. "Thank- thank you, Sam..."
"Oh. Sure, no problem, little bud."
His choice of words probably should have bothered me, considering my current "condition," but for whatever reason, it doesn't. The words weren't said with malice so much as just someone trying to uplift a friend's spirits.
I have no idea what to do next, or will happen to me from here, but for right now, at least, a friend is here, helping me, and somehow, I think I'll be ok.

BBS Dialogue Prompts #397
BBS & Frouse Dialogue Prompts & Sentence Starters: [ 10 ]
NOGLA
Not only my career, but yours depends on it too.
Everyone drive respectfully.
I'm listening to a lot of voices.
I got a good car, damnit, get the fuck out of the way.
Get the fuck out of the way!
You cock blocked the shit out of me!
Is someone shooting me?
Oh, he's dead.
I'll show you something cool.
Great, I just lost trophies, I hope you're fucking happy.
What's the WIFI password?
Excellent, we wasted them all, let's go.
I don't know, sounds like an excuse.
Because we were dying, we needed to go.
They definitely look like aliens.
Oh, now he's a true knight.
Get out of the car!
We didn't gloat to you, you were just miserable.
You don't want to be in the car.
He's near, he's definitely nearby.
KRYOZ
No, I didn't spill 'em all, unless you want me too.
Look at this mess I made over here, dude.
If we're going for distance, I think I win that one.
Did you fuck something up?
Fuck, I just got a body part.
Fuck, I'm underpaid.
I like doing it one at a time.
It really makes me feel like shit.
Ignore what I'm holding.
Look at how blue it is, dude.
BASICALLYIDOWRK
That was a sick move, bro!
That's why you're supposed to stay back, dumbass!
Where are you?
I'm looking at you.
I don't know where spawn is.
Show us where your teammate is.
You could've…you could've…you know what I mean?
You guys are dog shit!
I know exactly who you are, bitch!
Now walk away like nothing happened.

He's setting a fire.
I think it's this bitch.

Does anyone want to bring a shotgun to a park and blow some ducks away or is that just me?
What am I supposed to do, you were watching me the whole time.
I just know your dick is astronomically small.
WILDCAT
You did not try, you didn't move.
You were flying towards it!
Honestly, our team cohesion was a lot better even though I yelled at you the whole time.
We have to keep going, oh my God!
Is this going to go on forever?
You were so convinced.
None of them said what I was hoping they would say.
I don't know, I want to shoot though.
I don't care, as long as they're not flirting with my woman.
We fucking walk you through the whole process, and you go right.
BIGPUFFER
I jumped, I jumped, I jumped!
Vehicles out of gas.
We gotta wait for them to move, right?
Follow him, follow him, don't be cowards!
Did you reset because you got a fucking 2?
True, you're actually not wrong.
I'm literally ignoring it all.
Why the hell are you looking at the map?
This motherfucker robbed you.
I hate you, you're so annoying.
H2ODELIRIOUS
Kill him until he's dead.
This is so ridiculous, I’m so glad I don’t live there anymore.
Why do I look taller than you guys?
They tried to abduct me, did you see that?
Guys, we have to go back!
I haven’t been listening for the last ten minutes.
It does look like a dinosaur, not going to lie.
There’s monsters on you. I can’t get you.
Oh, when they’re dead.
Does anyone have a spare gun?
BLARG
Oh, there's a boxing ring.
Did you get the loan?
I haven't won anything ever!
I still got a piggy!
What the hell just happened to me?
Please let me win something, god!
I got hit by a car.
We gotta do it in the same spot.
Go get that guy, I didn't deserve that.
What the hell just happened in front of me?
VANOSSGAMING
I'm right here, bitch!
What if they possess me in the car?
I didn't break it.
Alright, boys we gotta kill some aliens.
Yeah, it came with the costume.
Who's in the car?
We got a letter, who's it from?
You were supposed to die.
He doesn't give a shit about you apparently.
I thought we were going to make it out of wood or paint it or something.
SMII7Y
What are you gonna hold onto?
We gotta another chance, drop it!
Don't do it again and we'll be cool.
I'm really curious of what he's doing.
That's so hard to do.
What does he have, even though I just saw his hand.
Well, there goes my good hand I was talking about.
Why, what's the point?
I need to confirm this info.
Okay, I'm fine with it, as long as that piece of shit didn't win.

1980
Who do you talk to about personal problems? Usually it's Angela, but honestly most of the time I keep them to myself and deal with it quietly.
Do you wear make-up? I do. Just enough for my face to look cleaned-up, because otherwise I don't care much for makeup and the trends and all have never really appealed to me.
Do you shower daily? Yes. I'd lose my mind if I miss a day hahaha.
Do you think any guys are going to take this survey? Sure.
Do you love to shop? I love shopping, I just wish I had the money to do it often lol.
What is your favourite accessory? GD has roused within me a scarf obsession I never thought I'd have. I use them these days as a bandana, as a belt, as a twilly for my bag, as a necktie...the possibilities are endless and I'm glad they are; they look SO cute anywhere and everywhere hahaha.
Tampons or pads? I use pads.
How old were you when you had your first boyfriend? I've never had a boyfriend, but I got into my first relationship at 17.
If you were to have sex right now, would you use a condom? Sure.
Do you think it’s bad to have sex at your age? No.
Would you cry if you got pregnant? I don't think so, but I also think that what I'd get instead is high-functioning shock? LOL like I would be stunned to silence, but it's also me already quietly browsing through the best hospitals, what baby items to buy, safety tips and such... lmao I'd rather be 4347232 steps ahead than feel things and freak out 😭
Do you have real or fake fingernails? Real.
Are you content with the current weather? It's terrible. Average temperature turned to 46C literally overnight. Every room feels like you're getting baked, I'm back to feeding the dogs ice cubes every few hours, and it's all just hot and sticky and humid all around.
Do you own many pairs of shorts? Lots of them but they're all for wearing just around the house. I don't like wearing shorts in public.
Is there a place you’d rather be right now? Not really – it's 4:50 AM. I think it's best I stay in my room, haha.
Is there an article of clothing you need to buy right now? I do need to start shopping for my concert outfits for J-Hope...
Is there a situation you currently feel hopeless about? I don't think that's the case for me at the moment, fortunately.
Have you ever wanted to get drunk and take your mind off of everything? Sure. I haven't been 'drunk' since college, though. I do still drink these days if I feel troubled – but I only do so socially, and just enough to get a slight buzz and loosen up a bit.
How long does it take you in the shower? Around 15-20 minutes.
Does your password have to do with a person? You can say that.
Do you believe that it is best to have a friendship first then love? That's how it happened for me. While my relationships ended terribly, this is still how I'd like things to flow. I just cannot see myself being with someone I don't already have a prior relationship with.
Do you have any fun plans for tomorrow? No.
Have you ever had to choose between two people? No.
Do you think 2018 will top 2017? Anything is better than the SHITSHOW that was 2017.
Have you ever been in a hospital? Sure.

Missing Player-ID: 157716441
Main Story - Part 4
Main Story: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 5 Part 6
Hidden Story: Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
Plot Analysis: Part 1 Part 2
Puzzle Solver Analysis
(If decide to go to the next location first) Page 46 doesn’t give the specific location, but it does have a detailed route, mentioning places like Meditation Pond(?) and Qinglian Pavilion(?). Mom confirms they are still places in the park according to the map.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Detective comments on the map looking like a hand drawing from the diary. There’s a QR code but it’s incomplete. There are more clues on pages 47, 48, and 49. Finishing the QR code will give the next location.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fold it first, cover it with the map, then follow the suggested route through the map step by step.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
It will look like pictures above (with the blue line on the map). It passes through the letters HE and LP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Blacken the corresponding letters HELP to scan it. You get the answer after scanning it to get the picture: Orson Villa(?). Detective tells the mom she should find an abandoned villa at the location. Mom says she’s never heard of it. Detective says her daughter climbed the walls on the northside.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The place is really well hidden, and the large fence keeps the mom from entering. The barbed wire on the fence causes the mom to comment just seeing it makes her feel pain in her legs. Detective states they need the key before they can enter, which are in the girl’s room.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The mom heads home to her daughter’s room. The Detective says the keys should be in a safe. The mom can’t open it. Detective suggests she picks the lock. Mom says she should have tools to open it, but her toolbox is nowhere to be found. (Detective’s thoughts: “She knows a lot…” referring to the mom having tools and knowing how to picklock a safe). Detective makes a note that she actually knows how to use picklocking tools(?).
Object on top of the safe looks like a dice from in the game. The girl had to have bought it online, but mom says she doesn’t give her pocket money. Detective says not to underestimate the girl, she may be more mature than her peers. The mom doesn’t comment. Detective suggests looking for the package it came in. They find it. It has a shop name on it. Detective looks it up.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Find a 10k yuan dice. Below that are pictures. The number on the back of each dice is the password. Answer is 312414.
Detective comments the girl must’ve had money. When mom asks how much, he says she doesn’t want to know. Mom wonders if the girl stole her card. Detective makes a note wondering if it got stolen.
Detective wonders how she could not know if her card was stolen. Mom says she doesn’t know how it happened. Detective comments that, not only does she not know her own daughter, but she also doesn’t even know herself well. The key is inside the safe, which they can use to go inside Orson Villa. Detective tells her to look for where the key will be useful.
Tumblr media
It’s dark inside and smells really bad. Detective asks if she’s been there before. She says she’s not sure, and that it’s too messy. Says it’s all disgusting and comments on having a headache. Detective goes to game for more clues. She goes outside to breath better in the meantime.
Tumblr media
80129 mentions the girl had a photo of a coat rack. There’s one in the lobby. Clicking it gives another letter.
“A place where you live every day and sleep peacefully every night.” Detective says if the girl followed the instructions, she should’ve gone back “home”.
Mom comments isn’t it normal for her to come home and then asks what she was doing here. Detective comments the clue says she was to go home and find something, something deliberately hidden. Detective says diary mentions a safe at home (and to go look).
Detective asks if they have a safe, who put it there? Mom can’t remember. Detective her husband must have hid it, “Who else could it be?”. He also says “Your daughter looked for secrets related to her father and found the safe hidden by her father”. Mom tells him to stop guessing and hopes girl hasn’t been to this place.
Tumblr media
Before she goes home, Detective asks if there’s a coat rack/hanger there and to see what’s in the coats. Mom: “this is…”. Detective asks if she found anything, but she says it’s dirty and doesn’t want to touch it. Mom: “I’m a little sick, can I go now?” and he says alright, can go home now.
Back at home, mom asks what her girl found in the house. Before he answers that, he asks if her husband’s name was Liu Bingsen (?). Mom: “…”. Detective tells her to answer. She says yes before he died in a car accident (mom seems reluctant to answer).
He asks how the relationship was between you two. Mom says she doesn’t want to answer (suspicious). Detective says the end result must be related to her husband, “I hope you aren’t hiding anything from me”. Mom: “I don’t believe it… he died in a car accident 10 years ago.” (yet her daughter has been searching for the truth of the car accident).
Tumblr media
Detective gets friend to go to Orson Villa (with his “master key”). Directs him to the dark room the mom had been in.
Tumblr media
Friend manages to get in. Looks like it’s been mostly abandoned for a long time. Detective asks if the girl actually came in here. Friend says there are some new traces, obvious due to the dust. Detective asks what she did here. Friend says someone came in shortly after it was abandoned. Not a recent thing. Friend asks who else knows. Detective says Identity V, saying the game must be hiding something. They were guided to this place by the game, as was the girl.
Tumblr media
Detective asks his friend to look for clothes behind the door of the secret room, and asks if there’s anything in it. Friend finds a paper in a pocket, which says: “They won’t let me go. Something will happen sooner or later.”
(Received some other notes around the same time)
Tumblr media
“Older Files (3) The goods are in excellent condition. There are many requirements that need to be fulfilled. First is a good physical examination, although they have been corrupted in the soul and do not have a normal state of mind, but as long as they have …gone through the process, many goods still have a high value. Second is to ensure the health and survival of the donation(?). For this reason, in the preparation stage… food is required, which is not difficult for most subjects. Third is storage. There must be qualified refrigeration equipment, which… nowadays, requires not only space, but a lot of electricity, which must be financially supported in order to continue and… because the developer is closing down, it will soon become unusuable, and the electricity consumption will be very abrupt. Fourth is…”
Tumblr media
“Old Files (4) Base diameter 8cm, height 15cm, plus compartment padding, 3 pipe position, external treatment. Sufficient as a substitute. Adjust biuret dosage to avoid overcooling paying attention to the copper wire density. Duration of the experiment, not less than 36H. New pre-test reagents are needed”
Detective shows the mom the note his friend found after commenting about the car accident and it seeming a bit strange. Says the note may have been left by her husband. He may have had a hunch something would happen to him. Mom: “This is… No no… it’s not…” (When the mom was in that room, she did see the coat and the note, but didn’t take it. To hide it from the Detective maybe?). Detective says her husband was probably killed for investigating something. Mom: “Killed? …That’s impossible.” She says he doesn’t remember him being afraid or anything. Detective: “Is that really true? Or are you psychologically protecting yourself via selective forgetting? The mom continues to deny it, saying he was calm, composed, as he usually is. Detective: “Doubtful. If what you say is true, then this diary… Unless you are still hiding it from me”. The mom doesn’t want him to say anymore. Detective asks if she loves her husband. She says he was nice to her and she’s grateful to him. Detective repeats his question. Mom says she’d love to repay him. Detective: “Answer me. Do you love him?” Mom: “I love our daughter so much.” Detective: “…”. Mom says she’ll talk about him after finding her daughter.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Detective knows she’s conflicted and asks for more info on the car accident. Mom says he can read it in the newspaper of that year. Mom says she doesn’t know anything about the car accident. He says what’s more bizarre is the person behind the scenes who’s been helping the girl and giving them hints, “Someone’s trying to reveal something”. Mom asks if it’s the truth of her husband’s death.
(Picture of newspaper. Seems the key point here is it wasn’t accidental. It was man-made.)
Detective says it doesn’t make sense for a game to be sending someone letters of interest, then thinks it’s not just the girl or them. This person is watching everyone. Mom only cares about finding the girl.

JOURNAL 18. LOCATION: BURNED TOWER
<<I'm not sure how to explain what just happened, but I'll try my best. I still can't really believe it...
Everybody that I talked to said that Gym Leader Matsuba was off in the Burned Tower looking for something, so I finally gathered up the courage to go inside. It was dark, it was a little scary, and it DEFINITELY felt like I wasn't allowed inside.
Matsuba was there, but he seemed really focused on other things and totally brushed me off. (He did snap at me to shut off Buena's Password on my Pokegear though. I get it, but come on--some of us need distractions when we're in some scary place!) At least the entire floor was lit up by all these crawling Slugma. I caught a really mellowed-out one and nicknamed her FLO. (Cute, huh? Hopefully Bill likes it!)
Matsuba wasn't talking to me, but the other person he was with definitely did. Have you ever been lectured about Suicune for thirty minutes straight? You haven't? Then you probably haven't talked to Eusine...
I told him that I'd read all about the myths in school, but he just scoffed! Said that the myths were very real, and he was going to find his answers right here in this old tower. He asked me to help out, and honestly? His enthusiasm was kind of contagious, so I said yes. Plus, I wasn't as scared because of all the people here now...
INCLUDING SILVER. Why was this guy here?! Why does he always show up at the most inconvenient times? And why is he such a jerk?!
Of course he challenged me to a stupid battle!! And before I could say no, or something about the rotting floor beneath us, Minerva flew out of her Ball to protect me...oh well.
Silver has a Houndour now. When he sent it out, I could feel my blood running cold all over again, but Mira bailed me out...and totally busted open the floor in the process. I thought that was it for me...
I can't really describe what I saw next. The myths that I told you about? They were THERE. They all took form in front of me...and bolted, except for Suicune. It almost glided towards me, blinked, and then took off with the rest of them. I could just sense its power...that aura...like I said, I don't know what exactly happened...
But Eusine was there. He had jumped into the hole after me and was looking at me like I was some sort of god. It was SO embarrassing, but he DID help me climb back up. He seems really invested in my success now, too--even telling me that Matsuba's whole strategy relies on putting Pokemon to sleep...
(Matsuba was UPSET about that little detail. I thought he was going to kill Eusine with his glare ALONE. I bolted before the tension could get any worse, but I had to promise to keep Eusine updated on the way out. I could hear them both start to argue as I left...)
The legendary myths are real. You might find this journal and call me crazy. But I know what I saw. They're out there somewhere, but right now, I'd better get to sleep. Thanking the world for DJ Mary's sleep mix.
We've got a big battle tomorrow.>>

I'm perfectly aware that the place to put this post is linkedin and not Tumblr.com (although i might make a more professional-looking version).
Anyway, I'm horrified by the amount of cyber attacks that are happening in the last few days. Especially because a couple of these are really big companies, and one would think they have an IT department that knows how to do their job. Even better, they should have at least one person that deals with cybersecurity.
I know that security operations centers (where we use very expensive systems to monitor the networks and the assets of the companies, plus we often investigate previous security incidents and produce intelligence reports) are expensive. I work in one and it's not the solution that works for everyone. A small company with few employees definitely cannot afford a SOC, but a big corporation? That would be nice (again, it's not the only solution and every client is different, you need to tailor the cybersecurity solution to the client).
But a videogame studio? I would expect them to take security seriously. And not only because of the data involved, but industrial espionage is a thing (although it's difficult to prove and it happens rarely that it's taken to a court, however it does happen), but it's a risk. A worldwide clothing company? A fucking bank? Sure.
The problem with certain things it's that "it won't happen to me". Until it does. And you end up paying 300x than you would be paying at least a cybersecurity consultant to prevent the attack.
Even better, a lot of the simplest measures are free to implement. No USB from home policy. Disabling local administrator accounts. Implement a strong password policy. Implement a blacklist for suspicious websites (and also, maybe stop downloading cracked software if you don't know where to find reputable sources? I see you trying to download that CoD aimbot, how embarrassing)
Implement a strong antispam policy (which is fundamental, as this is very very often the access point - you send a targeted spam email to a company with 3k employees and I can guarantee you that at least one will download the malicious file or insert the credential on the fake office 365 website, it's just what it is.)
But most people won't, because "it's annoying" and users don't want to put the effort to like, keep their fucking job and remember a 12 character password(yes, a company can suffer so much damage from a cyber attacks that it might even close the business, and yes, I had to fight with clients that refuse to change their AD admin accounts set in 2015 even when I told them about a potential leak) Not to mention that the data stolen often is the employees data. And you don't want your identity stolen by a criminal, do you?
And the danger when these attacks are carried against hospitals. People can die if the whole network shuts down because no one cared to implement basic cybersecurity.
And it's not true that organisations don't have the budget. We both know you are lying lol.
Don't get me wrong, there is nothing foolproof, there will always be a certain amount of risk.
I just expect people to use some good sense and I'm often disappointed lol.

Alright, before diving into the platform itself, let’s clear the basics.
Online lotteries are digital versions of traditional lottery games. Instead of buying a ticket from a convenience store, you hop online, choose your numbers, and boom—you’re in the draw. Same thrill, just faster and more convenient.
Now, unlike traditional paper tickets, everything is handled digitally. That means:
No losing your ticket.
No standing in lines.
And best of all? Instant notifications if you win.
It’s the lottery for the digital age, and people are loving it.
Tumblr media
So, What Is OLXTOTO?
Now to the real question—what is OLXTOTO?
OLXTOTO is an online lottery platform that offers players a secure and easy way to participate in various lottery games, all from the comfort of their home (or really, anywhere with internet). Whether you're a seasoned player or a curious first-timer, the platform aims to make lottery gaming simple, exciting, and accessible.
You’ll find different types of games, flexible betting options, and user-friendly features that make the experience more enjoyable than your old paper ticket days.
How Does OLXTOTO Work?
Honestly, it’s simpler than ordering pizza. Here’s how the process usually goes:
1. Create an Account
First, you’ll need to sign up. The process is usually quick—just a few basic details, and you're in. Most platforms also offer secure verification steps to protect your information.
2. Choose Your Game
There’s usually a wide selection of lottery games to pick from. Daily draws, weekly jackpots, themed games—you name it. Some are based on local lotteries, while others are international, giving you more chances to win.
3. Pick Your Numbers
You can go classic and pick your lucky numbers, or let the system auto-select for you (that’s called a “Quick Pick”).
4. Purchase and Confirm
Once you’ve selected your numbers and game type, just confirm your purchase. Payment options usually include bank transfers, e-wallets, and sometimes even crypto.
5. Wait for the Draw
After that, it’s just a matter of checking results—or letting the platform notify you if you’ve struck gold.
Why Are People Loving Online Lottery Platforms Like OLXTOTO?
Still wondering if this is something worth trying? Here’s why more and more people are joining platforms like OLXTOTO:
✅ It’s Super Convenient
No need to dress up or leave your couch. You can play at 2 AM in your pajamas if you want to.
✅ Wider Game Selection
Traditional lotteries are limited by region. Online platforms give you access to lotteries across the globe.
✅ Better Promotions
Online platforms often run bonuses, discounts, and loyalty rewards that paper tickets just don’t offer.
✅ Instant Notifications
You'll never miss a win because you forgot to check your ticket. Platforms send emails, SMS, or in-app alerts.
✅ Safe and Secure
Top-tier platforms use encryption and verification methods to keep your data safe.
Is It Safe to Play on OLXTOTO?
Short answer: Yes—if you play responsibly and on the actual platform.
Reputable online lottery platforms use encryption, offer transparent policies, and provide customer support. But just like anything online, it's important to be cautious:
Use a strong password.
Don’t share your account.
Only deposit money through verified payment methods.
What Sets OLXTOTO Apart From Other Platforms?
Here’s where olxtoto really stands out. The platform doesn’t just toss you into the game and wish you luck. It’s built with the player in mind. That means:
A clean, intuitive interface that’s easy to navigate.
Quick loading times (even on mobile).
Transparent odds and real-time results.
A solid reputation in the lottery community.
And while many platforms promise all this, olxtoto consistently delivers.
Can You Really Win Real Money?
Absolutely. Like any lottery, winning is all about luck, but the money? That’s very real. Some people walk away with a few extra bucks, while others hit jackpots that change their lives forever.
Just keep this in mind: it’s a game of chance. Don’t rely on it as an income source—but play smart, and it could bring a sweet surprise.
Tips for First-Time Players
Alright, rookie—you’re about to make your first move. Here's how to do it right:
💡 Start Small
Don’t jump into big bets right away. Try a few small games first to get a feel for how it works.
💡 Use Quick Picks
If you don’t have lucky numbers, no worries. Quick Picks are just as good (some even say better!).
💡 Set a Budget
It’s fun, but it’s also easy to get carried away. Stick to a weekly or monthly limit.
💡 Check for Bonuses
Look out for promotions or referral bonuses. Free plays? Yes, please.
💡 Play Regularly, Not Recklessly
The more you play, the more chances you have to win—but don’t overdo it. This is entertainment, not a hustle.
Final Thoughts
Online lottery platforms like OLXTOTO are opening the doors to a whole new world of gaming. Whether you’re chasing that million-dollar dream or just looking for a fun way to test your luck, online lotteries offer convenience, variety, and excitement that’s hard to beat.
Just remember—stay smart, play safe, and have fun. Who knows? You might just be one lucky draw away from something amazing.

How to Stop PDF Document Sharing Online Without Compromising Data Privacy and Security
How to Stop PDF Document Sharing Online Without Compromising Data Privacy and Security
Discover how to protect and control your PDFs online using VeryPDF Cloud DRM Protector without giving up security or flexibility.
Every time I sent a client a PDF contract, I felt like I was handing them a stack of papers with no lock. I couldn’t tell who printed it, who forwarded it, or worse—if it ended up in the wrong hands. It was like playing Russian roulette with sensitive data. Sure, you can slap a password on a PDF. But let’s be real: how hard is it to share a password or strip security with the right tools? I needed something better. Something that didn’t just “secure” my PDF but controlled it after I sent it. That’s when I found VeryPDF Cloud DRM Protector.
Tumblr media
What is VeryPDF Cloud DRM Protector? It’s like a digital bouncer for your PDF files. It doesn’t just lock the front door—it follows the file everywhere and controls what users can actually do with it. I’m talking about stopping: • Forwarding • Copy-pasting • Screenshots • Printing • Access after a certain date or number of views This isn’t your grandma’s PDF password protection. This is enterprise-grade, government-level encryption with real-time revocation powers.
Who Really Needs This? If you're sending confidential documents and you must keep control, this is for you. • Law firms sending sensitive case files • HR departments sharing employment contracts or salary info • Startups distributing pitch decks and internal reports • Authors and eLearning providers protecting IP from piracy • Freelancers and consultants sending client deliverables they don’t want leaked Honestly, anyone who values privacy, compliance, and control can benefit.
Here’s How It Changed the Game for Me Before VeryPDF, I used passwords and relied on hope. After VeryPDF, I had a control panel that let me lock, track, and revoke access like a boss. Here’s what blew my mind:
Expiry Dates That Actually Work I send proposals that are valid for 10 days. Now, I set the PDF to self-destruct on day 11. No manual follow-up. No “Sorry, I didn’t see it in time—can you resend?” It’s either on time or not at all. You can even expire by: • Number of views • Number of prints • Time since first open Game-changer.
Revoke Access Even After It’s Been Downloaded Let’s say you sent a PDF, then had second thoughts. With one click, I can cut off access—immediately, no matter where that file ended up. A rogue ex-employee? Revoke access. Client changed their mind on a deal? Revoke access. Total control, even after delivery.
Lock Files to Specific Devices and Locations Someone forwards your PDF to a friend? Tough luck—if their device isn’t on the whitelist, they can’t open it. I had a situation where a competitor got hold of one of my documents (long story). After switching to device-locking with VeryPDF, that hasn’t happened again. You can lock by: • Device ID • IP address • Geo-location It’s airtight.
Add Dynamic Watermarks Automatically No more manually stamping names or dates on pages. VeryPDF does it for you—per user. So when Bob from Finance prints a doc, his name, email, and company are burned into the page. That little nudge of accountability? Stops leaks cold. It supports: • Date/time • User name • Email address • Company name You don’t even have to think about it—just set it once.
Track Everything in Real Time You ever wonder if someone actually opened your document? With VeryPDF, you’ll know: • Who opened it • When • On what device • Whether they printed it • How many times It’s like having a built-in analytics dashboard for your PDFs. You can even log all interactions for audit or compliance purposes.
Why It’s Better Than the Alternatives I’ve tried some of the other big-name DRM tools. But they all fell into one of three traps:
Too complicated to use
Only worked on certain platforms
Didn’t let me revoke files once downloaded VeryPDF? None of those issues. It’s cloud-based, so there’s no clunky desktop software. Plus, it doesn’t force me to jump through 10 steps just to lock down a single doc. I protect it once, then customise access per user. Done.
Bonus: It Doesn’t Compromise User Privacy A lot of DRM tools demand crazy levels of user data. VeryPDF keeps it simple. You don’t need to compromise your client’s trust just to protect a file. And yeah, the encryption is the same level used by the US government. You’re not just protecting—you’re fortifying.
What Problems This Solves • Sharing PDFs without fear of leaks • Ensuring confidential docs expire on time • Preventing unauthorised downloads, edits, screenshots, and printing • Protecting intellectual property and increasing revenue • Staying compliant with privacy and audit requirements I’ve saved hours chasing files, lost zero sleep over leaked docs, and impressed more clients by handling privacy seriously. That peace of mind? Worth every penny.
My Verdict If you’re dealing with any sensitive PDF files—client reports, training materials, contracts, product specs—you need VeryPDF Cloud DRM Protector. Not want. Need. You’ll control how your documents are viewed, printed, or shared. And more importantly, you can take it all back if you have to. I highly recommend giving it a shot. They do that too. They work in Python, C++, C#, Java, HTML5, Windows API, and more. If you’ve got a complex doc-handling problem, hit them up at http://support.verypdf.com/
FAQs
Can I stop someone from forwarding my PDF? Yes. With device-locking and user-specific licensing, forwarded files won’t open on unauthorised devices.
What happens if someone tries to screenshot the document? VeryPDF blocks screen grab tools and even screen sharing through apps like Zoom or WebEx.
Can I set a document to expire after 3 days? Absolutely. You can expire by date, number of views, number of prints, or time since first open.
Will I know if someone prints or views my file? Yes. You’ll get logs of every view and print, including device and time data.
Does it work on macOS and Windows? Yes. It’s cloud-based and works across platforms, making it ideal for remote and hybrid teams.

rules. ( i don't require a password, but please do throw an eye at them! )
i. mun & activity. hello! i go by ghost, 29 years old, any pronouns. i'm italian, and english is my second language, hence you might see mistakes or weird phrases in my turns! i can get pretty busy and lately i worked to take the habit of staying as little as possible at the computer, which means that sometimes i can't get to it for days or even weeks. because of this, this blog, as all my blogs are, is permanent low activity! it might take a while for me to reply, but eventually always will! this blog is a sideblog of ghostories!
ii. adult content and tagging system. due to the nature of the muse of this blog and the themes borderlands can touch in general, mature themes will be present very often. because of this, this blog is 18+. everytime a trigger appears in my turns, i will tag it with the name of the trigger, followed by "//" - for example, blood //. if i forget or don't think about tagging something, never hesitate to tell me!
iii. shipping, suggestive and smut. i'm open to romantic shipping with jack, though don't expect the gentle love story - it's much more probable that jack will centre the relationship on himself alone and/or use the bond to better manipulate the other person. i write suggestive rarely. do not force a ship on me, because it's the right way to not get me to write it to begin with. as for smut, it makes me extremely uncomfortable, so i will avoid it altogether.
iv. starting threads and prompts lists. anything works for me to start a thread - prompts from lists or original ones, or plotting, anything! i just really enjoy writing, and love receiving things that give me new excuses to write even more. send anything anytime you like! i do my best to send often prompts as well, but i might always be a little late for prompts lists or for particular events for the aforementioned low activity. if you want to reblog a prompt list i reblogged, please go to the source and don’t reblog directly from me, unless the source itself is broken.
v. dropping threads. if you don’t feel inspired anymore for a thread of ours, don’t be afraid to drop it! no need to tell me, and i promise i won’t get mad, it’s alright! due to my constant low activity, i know inspiration can simply disappear after a while. don’t be afraid to drop it and move on - we can always start something new!
vi. mun's drawings. i like to draw little things that might involve my muses as much as my writing partners’, and sometimes i like to post them. if the drawing is posted on the rp blog and i specify that only certain people can reblog, please do not reblog them unless you have permission. if i post them here instead than my art blog, it is because i’d rather keep them in a smaller circle.
vii. muse's thoughts. mun =/= muse! i often write muses i disagree with, and jack is most definitely one of them. what he does or thinks is not necessarily what i would do or think. don’t compare me to him.
viii. fixing and rewriting turns. if you can’t understand something i wrote, don’t be afraid to ask me for clarifications! as aforementioned, english is my second language: while i do my best, mistakes might not be that uncommon in my turns. furthermore, i might misunderstand your turn as well - if it happens, or if more in general i need to change anything in my turn for any reason ( be it also that i might have written you into a corner or you don’t know how to continue! ), don’t hesitate to tell me! i have no problems at all in fixing my turns, or even rewrite them entirely if necessary!
ix. turns length. i tend to write A LOT, especially when i’m very inspired by a thread. please remember, you don’t need to match my length in your reply! don’t feel pressured to write more than you wish, write as much as you want.

Stop Pushing that Boulder Uphill! Cybersecurity is About Being Proactive
It’s harder than ever to keep your data safe these days. Everyone needs to be careful online, but the constant security steps can feel exhausting when you’re spending hours on a computer every week. Unfortunately, this is the new normal. If you don’t stay on top of your cybersecurity, it can be really hard to keep your business’ tech safe. What Does Being Proactive Mean? Cybersecurity is all about stopping problems before they happen. If you can stay ahead of threats, your business will be in a better position to avoid them or reduce the damage they cause. That’s the goal, but it’s not always easy. That’s why it’s so important to have a clear plan for fighting cyber threats. Every business needs the right tools and strategies to protect itself and train its team to deal with risks effectively. How to Lower Your Risk Here’s a simple plan to help protect your business from cyberattacks: Use the Right Tools Certain tools are essential for blocking cyberattacks: Firewalls – These act like a shield between your network and online threats. They let in the good stuff (like useful data) and block the bad stuff (like viruses). Endpoint Protection – This is the modern version of antivirus software. It stops viruses and malware, detects unusual activity, and helps fix problems to keep your network safe. Stay Proactive A few ways to stay ahead of threats include: Update Your Software – Always keep your programs updated with the latest patches. Developers fix security flaws and add improvements regularly, so keeping your software updated is crucial. Back Up Your Data – Phishing attacks are everywhere, and if one hits your business, having a good backup plan can save you a lot of trouble. Train Your Team Your employees play a big role in protecting your business. Make sure they’re trained to: Use Strong Passwords – Teach them to create unique passwords using a mix of letters, numbers, and symbols. Spot Phishing Scams – Many phishing emails look official but have small errors like typos, weird email addresses, or a pushy tone. Train your team to double-check suspicious messages before clicking on anything. Cybersecurity might feel overwhelming, but we’re here to help. At Reciprocal Technologies, we specialize in keeping businesses safe from online threats.
