I hate when people are saying that agatha was a fool for being mad at rio for what she did to nicky.

was it rio's fault? no, she was just doing her job. in fact, she did everything in her power to let agatha spend more time with her son. but agatha still treated rio like she was guilty.

but why is no one considered the fact that agatha is traumatized as hell? she probably knew it wasn't rio's fault, but she was too deep in her grief and hatred. she always did everything to survive, she never trusted people since everyone she loved betrayed her. and now, in her eyes, rio, her lover, a person she trusted the most, "betrayed" her.

she probably never knew how to deal with her emotions, no one taught her that, and when nicky died, she chose the easiest way to grieve – blame someone she loved.

I’m just… in awe

I say that a LOT when it comes to LOZ. Especially with how Nintendo handles a lot of different functions and storytelling perspectives— the details and implications in the Zelda games are phenomenal. By no means are they perfect, but there’s so much to consider that I find myself pondering the world they built for us to envision, all without solidifying everything.

The Hateno house by itself is HUGE. It tells us a LOT about the time spent between botw and totk. And if we were curious about how LONG it’s been… well we have the easiest indicator in the kids (Mattison is one we get to know very well).

It’s been ~5-6 years. Half a decade of rebuilding Hyrule. And the evidence is jaw-dropping when you think about it. She built research teams, commissioned construction workers, established a kingdom, and integrated herself with the lives of her people throughout Hyrule. She was legit everywhere. And then she oversaw a school being built in Hateno.

And what better place to call home than the house Link bought and fixed up?

We also see that it’s been some time since Zelda and Link travelled to the other regions— it seems that the one they frequented most recently to be the Gerudo (which you can conclude by Riju not only calling them her good friends, but mentioning that this is what Zelda would advise her to do… meaning she probably asked for advice as a young ruler more often than not) . It makes sense when we consider Zelda already has a personal connection to the Gerudo and would obviously be more inclined to visit there when she could.

It’s just…

They have done so much in so little time. And it’s so painful to think about how easily that gets ripped away from them.

In the first opening, each one of the main characters has a line dedicated to their scenes!! These lines seem to comfort them too.

Gon gets "Stepping firmly on the ground, you are awakening. With the smile of an angel, take me away!" and "It's never too late for a new beginning. No matter what, keep getting back up!"

These can reference what happens to him later on in the CAA, and it comforts him to some degree.

Kurapika gets "You are not alone, even in solitude."

He pushes his friends away, he pushes help away, so it reassures him that he's not alone.

Leorio gets "There is definitely a reason as to why we are born."

He is not the greedy, selfish guy he tried to seem at the start of the show. He was born to become a doctor and help others, he has worth!

Killua gets "You can smile again, bathing in the sun..." and "You can smile!"

Bisky mentions how it's a miracle Killua can still smile, and that makes him and Gon a good pair. Because, after all, Gon is the sun whose light he bathes in.

And "you can fly away" to all four!
