Aight so I've been working on the boys backstory and I did this really quick

Soooo here's where Blade, Brandy, and Bone came from, and also who their mother is!

TLDR: The boys were originally going to be the poster children and first ever sales for a Limited Edition run of "Powerpuff Girlz XTREME" where instead of having a Powerpuff girl you had a boy, they were created by a worker who wanted their own children, however Dick had seen them and planned to sell them because he was only thinking about the profit he could turn. They were fortunately never cloned and survived the destruction of the abandoned factory in the end of Knock It Off by hiding in the packaging and being sent to Townsville, buuuuut got accidentally dumped in an alley way.

That's where they met Marie Q. Rei, their adopted mother! Who was working the graveyard shift at a local restaurant and taking out the trash. She met the boys and ever since she's loved them as her own sons, raising them in a comfortable home and giving them as much love as possible.

Blade, Brandy, and Bone chose their names since neither Dick or their creator had named them.

There's a loose half circle of boys all older than Pony by at least a year or two blockin' his only exit- across the lot, over the fence, 'n two blocks home. Their ring leader, some snot-nosed soc who'd had it out for Pony since the moment they laid eyes on each other, jostles one of his posse 'n cackles an ear splittin' laugh.

"God," Pony runs a hand under his nose, scowls when it comes away stained red. "I'd thought the circus had rolled outta town. Someone must have told me wrong considerin' all the clowns are right here in front of me."

The boy stops hootin' 'n glares down at Pony, eyes darkenin'. "You fuckin' asked for it now, Curtis." He gives him another kick in the ribs that has Pony chokin'. He drops down to meet Pony's eyes, crouchin' close. "I was wrong. You ain't gonna go home 'n cry to mama. 'Cause you ain't got one. Shame. Though she wouldn't much like you fightin', would she? God, disapointin'."

Pony grins, blood on his teeth, 'n spits in his face. "Don't worry about my ma. I got two older brothers 'n you know what? It's damn fine with them." 'N Pony's laughter melts right into the sound the boy's nose makes as it cracks under his fist.

lil Hyrule wasn't born already knowing how to properly fly like most of fairies because of his hylian blood, together with that his wings at first were too small in comparation of his body

his first time flying was when his mama teached him how to shrink into a more fairy-like appearance and size, finally his wings were able to lift him (still he failed a couple of times lol)

Darrel’s love language is acts of service and that’s how he tells his brothers he cares. Him fighting tooth and nail to keep his brothers was love. Him pushing Pony because his brother has a gift and passion for learning is love. Him waiting by the phone when Pony was gone was love. Him making dinner for the whole gang and making sure they eat is love.

Pony’s love language is words of affirmation. He likes telling people and being told that they care. Him telling Johnny about how they could have an entire life outside of Tulsa together was love. Him feeling cared about and loved when Johnny says the reason he’s living is Pony is love. Him writing to tell the story of his friends and their meaning to him was love.

Pony doesn’t think Darrel loves him because Darrel doesn’t say it. Darrel doesn’t come in and say “hey I care about you”. And Pony doesn’t recognize that all of Darrel’s sacrifices and everything he does to keep them afloat is him showing his love. Darrel never saying “I love you” to Pony makes Pony think that Darrel must not love him. And by the time Darrel realizes that and says it, it’s almost too late.

My mother is THEEEEE biggest nerd I know and I'm seeing her in two days to play D&D so that I can try to kill her and my partners with vampires. I had to interrupt my Odyssey tirade on Christmas to tell her to wait with her LOTR rant to see if I covered her point (actually I think I said "give me a fucking minute, I'm making a point here") and she immediately cracked up and went "I am SO proud of you actually" and I think it confused my in-laws even more than the fact that I had an Odyssey tirade locked and loaded. When I was a kid she told me that if I didn't like LOTR then I had to lie to her for the rest of her life. She fucking rules.

youve mentioned not being interested in prize figures anymore & im curious why? like if a prize figure was coming out you liked the look of, would you just not get it on account of it being a prize? or is it not as strict? ive been a prize only collector for ages but started investing in scale figs in the last 2 years (specifically more "flashy" ones with lots of detail, unique bases etc where it genuinely feels worth the steep price increase since some scales are just really basic in design & quality which feels like a waste of money imo), however i still buy prizes if i like the design/sculpt/character, my fav ever prize figure i own is actually the luminasta modern china miku & i dont see her nearly enough cause shes stunning honestly :3 sorry if this is kinda incoherent im sick rn T_T

ah no it's not strict, it's really not a rule or anything but just more of a pattern i guess! i do still own 11 prize figures i love (excluding all the ones i'm selling) and have 1 on my wishlist, but all my favourite figures i own are scale figures. i just really love the fine details and intricate poses my fav figures have! prize figures can be and nowadays very often are beautifully made but you just can't add a big intricate base to a figure that's supposed to cost $30. i guess to put it simply, prize figures often don't have my personal favourite things about figures.

now this might sound silly but i think i do also have a slight negative association with prize figures. i used to struggle with a severe buying addiction (babe wake up new dailyfigures lore just dropped) in a period while i was also unemployed and it was like uhhh top 1 worst times of my life. i barely had money to spare but to feed the addiction i bought any prize figure i could get for less than like 15 bucks on ebay auctions. obviously those weren't figures i really truly loved so i would only feel shame and regret when i looked at them. when i recovered and got a stable job i was able to buy the more expensive figures i did truly want and those did genuinely make me happy.

like i said i know it's silly to project my own previous issues onto innocent pieces of plastic but i think a small part of me is like "oh god no please we are not doing this again" when i'm thinking about buying a prize figure. mental illness am i right ladies haha um. anyway i guess long story long. i just lost interest in prize figures along the way but if i really like one i'm not against buying it
