one thing i noticed when i was putting together the layout map for the tent is that... there's no visible way to get to the upper floors of the circus. sure, there's those stairs in the middle of the tent that lead up to that lil room area, but that doesn't connect to any of the upper floors. so how do they get to their rooms, if there's no stairs?

maybe we just havent seen the tent from the right angle that shows these stairs, but another option i thought of included those other doorways we can see on the upper floors:

neither of these are the doorways that lead to their rooms, since that one is over by the main tent entrance:

so maybe these are the doors that lead to the upper floors? something like an elevator, or there's a heap of stairs hidden behind there. it would explain why these doorways look important, it's because theyre the only way to reach the upper floors.

as for how to reach these from the ground floor, there's still another doorway we don't know anything about, and that's the one that we see in the pilot while pomni is looking for caine:

this one's in the top right corner of the tent, and is close enough to the other doors on the upper levels that if there was a staircase or some kind of elevator behind there, it'd still be able to connect to the upper doorways. so maybe this is how they move between floors.

it'd also explain why zooble was over here in the first place during episode 3:

they were probably on their way back to their room, and caine caught them just before they were able to make it to the second floor. there's nothing else interesting around this part of the tent, so i dont see any other reason for zooble to be here aside from trying to hide from caine.

also, off topic fun fact: you can see the lounge area from episode 3 in the background of some scenes in the pilot! i was waiting to see when they'd eventually be hanging out there :3

I like to think that Gorgug hangs out with the seven the way Zelda hangs out with the bad kids. You know that horrible awkward feeling where you only know one person at a party? It’s like that but everyone else at the party is inseparable and they keep teasing you (in a good-natured way) with jokes you don’t understand, and all you can do is smile and nod and try so hard not to embarrass yourself in front of these people you perceive as way too cool for you.
