Not to jump into being negative so soon but I feel like caitvi, together and as individuals were incredibly sidelined in these last three episodes. They were in their worst place ever in part 1 and kind of just suffered alone then were fine again? There isn't really that much of a process to them trusting each other again, etc. Then I know so many people wanted a sex scene and I get why but with how rushed their reunion felt i feel like if that was the only scene we were getting of them in this part (and if the show ends here, at all) aside from them arguing about Jinx and their very last scene (which though sweet is also kind of nothing), maybe it could have been used a little better. They're relationship was such a huge part and driving force of season 1 and I feel like this season has kind of been disappointing when it comes to them, not that what we got wasn't good but more so what we didn't get. It kind of feels like after part 1 they lost their depth.

it’s a throwaway line to keep the story mysterious and at a good pace, but I like how quickly alan denies saga and casey getting into contact with his loved ones when they were interrogating him. he could have so easily found out about alices disappearance and “death” years prior, but instead chose again to go at it alone for the sake of keeping them (alice and barry) safe. meanwhile, alice is in the dark place and barry is in a cult because blocking them out hasn’t actually put them in less danger or made anything better. they’re still haunted by him. it’s a nice contrast to when alan finally collaborates with saga and understands alice’s choice in returning
