couldn't a reason Mind and Heart hate each other be because of whole's love interest (sung in Haiku and Hidden In The Sand), like how Whole really liked them, but he thought that they would never love him, so basically his Heart wanted to ask them out and pursue a relationship, but his Mind refused thinking they would never love him. And its mostly because of that Whole split into three in the first place, so they both blame each other for it, and that's why they hate each other?

Shade is voiced by Andrew Francis and honestly it's pretty clear after looking it up because how Andrew Francis voices Shade and how Andrew Francis voices Cole sound incredibly similar. Shade's voice is just more raspy and the tiniest bit deeper I guess? Regardless they sound very similar
#i will reiterate that i don't hate it when voice actors do this. in fact i love it#it just has a tendency to throw me off a bit when i forget about it lol#i rewatched season 11 after rewatching season 14 and cole howard voices bentho and kataru identically but i forgot cole howard voices katar#so hearing a voice i usually associate with bentho come out of kataru threw me off#i love it though because it means kataru and bentho both have incredibly relaxing voices#ninjago#lego ninjago#ninjago shade#ninjago cole#cole brookstone#andrew francis#ninjago season 9#ninjago hunted#its SUPER cool to me that characters with the same voice actor can sound super similar but also completely different#like bentho and kataru are pretty similar characters so their vibes are the same#however you get to shade and cole and they have the same voice but different vibes so they still sound different#OH YEAH brent miller voices one of arin's bullies in dragons rising and he sounds identical to zane but there are totally different vibes#same with echo and zane. same voice actor (obviously) but echo's less. mature? i guess? and it gives him an entirely different vibe#i could ramble about “same voice different vibe” in ninjago for hours but i'll stop here

I'm gonna be honest with you guys, the urge to do the same thing I did with the oitd silhouettes, aka slap text posts onto the art with no knowledge of their canon personality other than what they did in the trailer and pulling from the fandom's perceived personality for them, for the new oxventure characters revealed in that trailer is so real
#and there was only reactions in the trailer#willowfine seems sweet and nice#robin kinda gives off pathetic boyfail to me (in a similar way to dob's pathetic boyfail energy) while also hiding something#lug's character art makes me think he's kinda cautious fsr#but Mike just smiling in the trailer makes me think he's pretty happy-go-lucky like Egbert#tho that could just be him talking with the team about a silly thing he's doing or during his character introduction in the actual episode#I have a similar situation with cressida#cressida's character art seems kinda annoyed and thinks she's above people like Prudence did#however Ellen seems scared or at least shocked or worried so cressida might actually be caring and kind like Ellen's other characters#then we have our new resident goth: happen#I kinda get the vibe that he's a more silent character that gets the job done quickly#like ice bear#but also maybe struggles with emotional connections#even if I'm wrong in my vibe guessing I'm sure I'll like them#I'm already slapping aroace headcanons on some of them#them being happen lug and willowfine#maybe cressida too#actually if I think too much about it I'm just gonna slap aroace headcanons on all of them#so they're all aroace unless I'm proven otherwise aka if I think another headcanon fits better#not a text post#this was gonna be a delete later but a lot of my thoughts are in the tags now#oxventure

“least favorite” isn’t anywhere close to bad. it just shows how damn hard the competition is going, but we’re talking about gold medals all around for each actor i’ve seen portray the doctor so far.

Also the VERY very clear Silence of the Lambs influence is kind of why I’m side-eyeing the idea that the character Longlegs isn’t supposed to be GNC coded at all. The writer has said “no no, he’s from the glam rock era” but nothing about the costuming evokes that at all. Pretty much the only thing that points to that is minor bits of set dec that you don’t see until the end of act one. So to me I’m like, well you either did a bad job conveying characterization OR you accidentally wrote a GNC villain because you were riffing on SotL and you realized you maybe shouldn’t do that so you backpedaled.
#the costuming gives off a very grandma vibe to me#and then the character of harker’s mom is styled very similar to longlegs which is deliberate#and she’s like. undeniably feminine#to me I’m kind of like. I don’t care. it’s a mid horror movie so I expect this#but it’s annoying to see people go ‘NO ACTUALLY ITS GLAMROCK THE CREATOR SAID SO-‘#when they did a bad job actually putting that in the movie#longlegs spoilers

Also, I don't think I've seen anyone comment on this but Tuesday and Tooth Fairy actually give off similar vibes to each other. Both are presented as motherly, calm and collected characters who slowly become uncanny the more you stare at them. They both speak calmly, sing a nursery rhyme in a similar way (slightly creepy) and have this weird, off-putting aura that I usually can't explain.
The main difference (aside from their opposite color palette) is that one is a sweetheart who cares for children and the other is a malicious woman who interacts with spirits.
