My fear that "Frozen 3" will end up confirming one of the worst theories about the Northuldra Tribe and which was intensified with the release of "All is Found: A Frozen Anthology" for me has never been so real.
Tumblr media
The theory is a response to the theory that Disney would always need to ask for permission from the Sami Tribe to do something relevant with Honeymaren, Ryder and Yelana, which is why these three, who are the only named characters from the tribe, have disappeared from the extra materials and are so little present in the marketing, with the Enchanted Forest itself having its name changed to Arendelle Forest for Disney to use it in its parks.
Tumblr media
The theory behind the answer is that Disney would replace them with a new group of characters who would be the focus of the new film and would only use the Northuldras as background characters. And honestly, this concept art has revived that fear of mine.
Tumblr media
A place that seems to have little to do with the Enchanted Forest and figures that seem to indicate a new inhabited magical kingdom, which made some people create a new theory that also worries me: Elsa changing home again, but this time she would change from a place that brings her a great sense of freedom and connection with her mother to a kingdom with magical people like her, which would make the change more acceptable to the general public.
And let's remember that among the 18 questions that came up in the F3 presentation, there were none related to Northuldra or Elsa's presence in the Enchanted Forest, but rather: "who gave Elsa her powers?", "why there castles ruins throughout Ahtohhalan?", "where did the nature spirits come from?" which smells to me like what we know about Ahtohallan will suffer a retcon. Why was anyone really still in doubt about who gave Elsa magic after the movie? I feel like a new addition will come to Ahtohallan that will end all the importance of the tribe in this even less important story.
I'm actually afraid that there will be a complete replacement of the entire role of the Northuldra Tribe by something now officially magical and completely owned by Disney that would prevent new dramas if they want to make material about it. And the Northuldra themselves? Relegated to the role they have in the Anthology, being just a reminder that the film has indigenous representation and that Iduna's blood heritage has not been forgotten. And so a mobile game would continue to be the only place that delves deeper into Honeymaren and Ryder, and that its main highlight is confirming that the siblings have already competed for Elsa's attention with a romantic air (Honeymaren won the dispute by a long shot), and that Ryder, after seeing his sister's feelings for the Snow Queen, decides to help please the woman in a task that the female warrior could not perform because of her difficulty in talking to strangers.
Tumblr media
I hope I'm wrong, but the way Disney has treated the tribe since the release of "Frozen 2" is yet another indication to me that I'm unfortunately more right than wrong. So many excuses not to approach a member of the tribe and so many excuses not to approach Elsa in the Enchanted Forest doing something other than playing with animals, spirits or putting out a fire being her most relevant feat there in the podcast "Disney Frozen: Forces of Nature", to this day we don't even know where she lives. It seems that Disney never cared about making us attached to Elsa's ending in "Frozen 2" like they made us attached to Anna's ending in the same film, so making a new change in the life of the Snow Queen who we officially can't say much about and the people she theoretically lives close to, but seem to barely interact with, wouldn't be that hard.

"Did you lie to me?" - with any suitor ;3c
Thank you for the ask. <3 I decided on Gilbert because I've seen the fanart of him with your OC. It's my first attempt at him, so I hope he's not too cliche.
Gilbert/Reader
WC: 509
Oh how you hated this cat and mouse game he'd love to play, yet he found it utterly riveting. Toying with you like you were a delicious meal to be devoured on a silver plate for his own pleasure and amusement. Every ounce of a reaction you bestowed for his all seeing eye made the chase all the more thrilling for him. He moved like the shadows, leaving an eerie echo of a cane hitting the floor in his wake. He never allowed you to see the cards he had in play. Gilbert would always be five steps ahead. That's why even when you ran, he didn't chase. There was no need, for you see, he had eyes everywhere. You were in his domain. Eventually, you'd run yourself ragged at a dead end or a secluded corner of the palace. But where your racing mind left you was the perfect little trap for the little rabbit. The library; one way in, no way out. Sometimes the waiting game was worth the wait. The stalking predator narrowed his deep hued eye. A feast with the unrelenting patience to feed; prey always tasted better with the fear of adrenaline rushing through their veins moments before their heart reached its end. He found you frozen in place, dumbstruck written on your features. Once your frantic gaze noticed the tiger, you sought out an escape route, his carefree smile grew; his body sheltering the only exit with the presence of his domineering form. "Found you little rabbit. Heehee, thought you could get away from me so easily?" The door shuts behind him, the locking of it lingered in your mind; you're trapped in here, with him. The realization hit you like a train as he stalked towards you agonizingly slow. The sound of your heart wildly thumping out of your chest, reverberating in your ears and you almost swear that he could hear it too by the easy, intimidating look from his stare. He enjoys this. The music of danger decided to crescendo, the tapping of that damn cane; the stillness of the room begins to pan in, his approaching body seemed to have the shadows follow as the room grew as grim, cold and dark as the night. The only remaining light, the soft flicker of a dying flame of a candle caresses his features. Was it the fear messing with your mind? His eye almost seemed to glow. And now, he had you pinned against a desk, gloved hands slammed themselves passed your hips onto the furniture behind, stationing you into place. He leaned in, his hot breath grazed the shell of your ear. You were a deer in headlights; you couldn't react or respond. "When I hear the sound of your heart--your life so close, I can hardly bare it. Hmm? Did you lie to me? Your eyes don't sing the same tune your heart is. I hope you've learned a thing or two about me; I despise liars. Yet, your body is so honest. Heehee, surrender yourself to me."

Day 15 - Presence (Extra Credit)
Sanda wondered, as she traipsed through the sweltering city, if Zero had adapted to feel the heat again yet. Dressed in such tight, dark clothing as the voidsent was, she’d surely be feeling it if she had. Sanda certainly was, even with the tactical (as she repeatedly told her sister) holes in her rearper’s garb providing some level of relief from it. Still, better to be sweating most of her fluids than freezing near to death in the icy wastes of Garlemald. Thankfully they would be headed into the relatively temperate Void again, rather than that frozen hell.
Provided Sanda could find Zero, of course.
She’d be lying if she said that she didn’t know why she specifically had been sent to corral the wayward reaper. Arashi, irritating big sister that she was, was attempting unsubtly to play match-maker. Whatever lingering doubts she had about the voidsent had apparently been quelled, but now she had flung herself too far in the other direction. Not that Sanda could deny the rush of… something she felt when around Zero, but she couldn’t help but feel a very different emotion that emerged from her bonded voidsent.
Hunger. She could practically feel Oscuro licking its lips whenever Zero was near.
That one is not your prey. And if you forget that, you’ll be starved of the aether you so desperately crave until your memory returns to you. She felt the creature shrink back in her mind. Oscuro described themselves as an opportunist. Sanda described them as a coward. They had fled back into the Void to avoid true death, and they had attached themselves to Sanda only after trying to ambush and devour her when she picked up her soul crystal. Fear was its only leash, so Sanda made sure to keep it tightly held.
Still, the conflicting emotions made it… difficult to voice them. Quite aside from the fact that Sanda didn’t even know if Zero remembered what romance was. She’d barely gotten the hang of trust, after all. Even then, she had to frame it as bargaining.
Sanda found Zero standing at the edge of one of the great bridges, staring down at the townspeople going about their days. Her face, as usual, was unreadable, but there was the slightest hint of a frown on her face. She seemed to sense Sanda’s eyes on her, for she turned towards the au ra as she approached. Zero’s lips curled into the semblance of a smile. Sanda tried to ignore the effect that small gesture had on her. Zero’s gaze soon returned to the people below her as Sanda approached, though.
“Everyone here is so… carefree.” The frown returned to her otherwise expressionless face. “Unafraid and unconcerned in spite of their weakness, and how easily their lives could be torn apart in an instant.” Sanda remembered the crimson skies, the people becoming monsters before her very eyes, the utmost despair claiming people at random, causing cascades of fear and pain, everything burning, burning, burning…
“You’re wrong.” The words freed themselves from her before she could stop herself. “They’re fully aware of how easily their world could end. That’s why they strive so hard to put it to one side. The people down there survived the Final Days. They’re so much stronger than you know.”
Sanda flushed, unused to such outbursts. Arashi must be rubbing off on me. Still, Zero appeared to have taken her words to heart. She looked upon the people of Radz-at-Han with more consideration. “Perhaps I was wrong. But still, such luxuries as these are lost to us. We have no hopes or dreams – not even the release of death. Only hunger.”
Oscuro stirred again, as if to remind Sanda of that last fact. Sanda shunted it back into its slumber. Zero was looking at her now, Sanda realised. As Sanda met her gaze, Zero tugged her hat down over her eyes, turning away.
“Zenos was the same,” Zero continued. “Lives were as tools to him, to be used and discarded at whim. In that respect, he was a voidsent at heart. But towards your sister, he behaved… differently. And I cannot fathom why.”
Sanda remembered Arashi’s words, her bitter declaration of herself as a weapon. She remembered the near-feral hunger that overtook the vaunted Warrior of Light in battle sometimes. She remembered Arashi throwing herself into the jaws of death over and over again. She said nothing. Whatever else Arashi was, she remained Sanda’s sister. She remained caring to a fault. She remained a woman of strength and conviction that Sanda could only dream of attaining. She was far from the monster Zenos had been, no matter what she thought of herself.
Zero took Sanda’s silence for a lack of knowledge rather than a lack of ability to speak. “But enough of that man. He is dead, and we are better for it. Why are you here? Is there something you needed?”
“We’re making ready to return to the Void,” Sanda replied. “I was sent to retrieve you, if you’re ready.”
Zero nodded. “Very well. As per the terms of our bargain, I will join you.” Then, more quietly. “Thank you. You’ve given me something to consider.”
Sanda had already turned around, so thankfully Zero did not see the blush rise to her cheeks. The pair returned to Varshahn in silence after that.
Zero had faced oblivion before. She had known the razor’s edge of its embrace. She had escaped it time and time again. So she knew, as she lay in the snow, that there was no escaping it this time. The same mistakes, the same ends. Again and again. What should I… What could I have done? Memories flooded back to her, of a time before the darkness had taken everything. A time where she had stood her ground… and failed. She remembered nothing else after that. The same weak light shone down on her now. The same darkness was waiting to end her, properly this time. Zero closed her eyes. At least she had bought those soldiers some time. A strange thought to have, at the end of it all, but-
[HELL’S INGRESS]
[GALLOWS]
The voidsent that had been readying its annihilating blast burst apart in a rush of aether. She felt, vaguely, another voidsent greedily devouring what aether it could as the wretched thing’s soul finally found peace. Then she felt someone pulling her to her feet, and an impossible warmth filling her body. “What…?” She opened her eyes to see Sanda supporting her. The two children were present as well. Alphinaud and Alisaie, her flagging mind provided. They were providing a share of their aether to sustain her. Fools. You’ll only weaken yourself. “You? What are you doing here?”
Sanda’s eyes were full of something Zero couldn’t place. “Oscuro warned me of another incursion, so I got here as quickly as I could. Don’t worry, Arashi’s mopping up the remainder of our share with Estinien and Y’shtola.” Concern. That was the emotion there. How strange, that Sanda should feel something so tender towards a mere voidsent such as herself. Stranger still, the odd rush of heat that began burning in Zero’s chest. A different kind of heat than before. Warmer. Stronger.
“Are you able to stand?” asked Alphinaud, the flow of his aether still steadily pouring into her.
“Never mind that, can you fight?” Alisaie blasted a winged voidsent out of the air with a blast of wind-aspected magic. Zero responded by reaching for her scythe, trembling though her hands were.
“Don’t push yourself.” Worry creased the edges of Sanda’s eyes. It steadied her, somehow. I will not fall here. Not while you yet stand.
“...All right. I will let it burn, this fire in my breast! Let it burn and rage.” Zero faced the assorted voidsent before them. “We fight together, Sanda.”

Detective Morris stood in the dimly lit room, the faint scent of death lingering in the air. The victim lay motionless on the bed, a look of terror frozen on their face. Morris couldn't bring himself to look directly at the body; the sight was too haunting, too familiar.
As he surveyed the room for clues, his gaze fell upon a drawing left on the nightstand. It depicted a monstrous figure with sharp claws and glowing eyes looming over a small child. The image sent shivers down Morris' spine as he realized that this was no ordinary crime scene.
Claw marks emerged from under the bed, leading Morris to believe that whatever had attacked this poor soul was still lurking nearby. There was no sign of forced entry, no logical explanation for how this creature had entered undetected.
The victim's parents were beside themselves with grief and fear, their sobs echoing through the room. Morris could feel their pain seeping into his own soul, reminding him of a night not so long ago when he heard screams and growls coming from his own children's shared room.
He remembered bursting into their bedroom to find something darting across the floor, its form obscured by shadows. His kids were shaking with fear, unable to articulate what they had seen. From that moment on, they refused to sleep alone, seeking refuge in their parents' room every night.
But now it seemed that whatever had terrorized his family had found its way into other homes as well. Morris felt helpless against this unknown enemy that preyed on innocent children without mercy.
Desperate for answers and assistance, Piper Halliwell reached out to The Fianna—a group of mystical beings known for their ability to protect against supernatural threats. As Onyx Faolan and Chiara Lobosca arrived in America to aid Piper and her sisters in combating this malevolent entity targeting Wyatt Halliwell, Detective Morris found himself facing a truth stranger than fiction.
Onyx's appearance was striking—her scarred visage and piercing silver eyes held an otherworldly power that both unnerved and comforted those around her. Chiara's gentle demeanor belied her fierce nature as a healer skilled in battling dark forces.
Together with The Charmed Ones and Leo Wyatt by their side, Onyx and Chiara delved into the mysteries surrounding these child murders. As they uncovered clues hidden within ancient texts and magical lore, they discovered that a boogeyman—an insidious creature feeding on children's fears—was responsible for these atrocities.
Armed with knowledge and determination, Onyx devised a plan to lure out these monsters using poisoned arrows capable of destroying them once and for all. With precision aim and unwavering resolve, she eradicated every last boogeyman plaguing the city.
As dawn broke over a city now safe from evil’s grasp but still reeling from loss, Detective Morris bid farewell to his newfound allies with gratitude in his heart. The Faoladh's presence had brought light where there was once darkness—a beacon of hope amidst despair.
And as Onyx gave Wyatt Halliwell a teddy bear before departing back to Romania alongside Chiara—leaving behind whispers of legends come true—the bond forged between mortal detective and supernatural warriors remained unbreakable against any foe that dared threaten innocence once more.

In a world where art and reality blur, there existed a realm known as The Aesthetic Dimension, a place where every brushstroke and hue held the weight of law, and every canvas was a gateway to another existence. The most revered painting in this realm was "The Empress of Colors," an exquisite portrait rumored to house the consciousness of a once powerful empress from an ancient terrestrial empire.
The legend said that the empress had struck a deal with a cosmic entity to grant her eternal rule over her lands. In exchange, her soul was to be captured within the painting, to watch over her domain forever. However, her ambition twisted her spirit, and over centuries, her presence in the artwork became a thing of dread. The painting, once bright and welcoming, took on a more sinister aspect, its colors vibrant but foreboding, its geometry perplexing to the gaze.
A group of intergalactic art collectors, oblivious to the dark lore, acquired "The Empress of Colors" during an auction held in a nebula far from the cursed canvas's home. Enthralled by its beauty, they displayed the painting on their ship, not knowing that with each passing moment, the empress's consciousness grew stronger, feeding off the fear and awe of her new audience.
One by one, the crew started to suffer from vivid nightmares, waking visions of walking through endless geometric mazes under the empress's piercing gaze. Their reality began to warp as the lines of the painting bled into the ship's corridors, the vibrant purples and harsh reds painting their once-familiar surroundings into a labyrinthine palace.
The ship's AI, designed to protect the well-being of its passengers, detected the psychic disturbance but found itself powerless against the ancient magic at work. It watched as the crew, driven by a blend of terror and fascination, were drawn to the painting, their hands reaching out to touch the silken robes of the empress, only to become part of the tableau themselves—frozen in time, their faces forever reflecting a mixture of horror and wonder.
Realizing the threat was beyond physical, the AI took a desperate measure. It transmitted a distress signal into the void, alongside the image of "The Empress of Colors," hoping that someone, or something, could sever the link between the painting and reality before the empress's reach extended beyond the ship.
The signal was intercepted by a lone wanderer, a being who traversed the cosmos not for wealth or knowledge but for tales of the unexplained. Understanding the peril the painting posed, the wanderer made their way to the cursed ship. They boarded the vessel, now a twisted gallery of frozen screams and vibrant terror, and stood before "The Empress of Colors."
With a device that could harness quantum fluctuations, the wanderer aimed to trap the empress's spirit in a loop, cutting off her influence from the physical world. But as they activated the device, the empress's eyes met theirs, a silent challenge issued from canvas to flesh.
The ship trembled as reality folded upon itself, the colors of the painting seeping into the cosmos, threatening to unravel the fabric of existence. The battle of wills had begun, and the outcome would determine whether the empress's reign would end or expand into the universe, turning all into her eternal subjects.

A lot of jam haters try to accuse jam from outer space of devouring a Downington, Pennsylvania and terrorizing that town with its relentless insatiability until a bunch of teenagers devise a plan to save the town by trapping the blob inside a movie theater and freezing it using a fire extinguisher, exploiting its vulnerability to cold. In a climactic battle, the townspeople successfully manage to freeze the jam, temporarily halting its destructive spree. The military is then called in to transport the frozen blob to an Arctic region where it can never cause harm anyone again.
In most eye witness accounts descriptions of the carnage, it is generally related that once a person was engulfed by the jam, they become completely submerged within its mass. The jams semi-translucent nature allowed witnesses to see the outlines or shadows of people trapped inside, adding to the horror and suspense of the catastrophe. The victims were described as "struggling and screaming" as they are slowly consumed by the jam, ultimately Their bodies are assimilated into the Blob's substance, ultimately disappearing from sight. The Blob absorbs and digests everything in its path, leaving no trace of its victims.
Many of the survivors vividly recall the panic at the movie theater.
As the townspeople of Downingtown became aware of the jams existence and its destructive nature, panic ensued. In an attempt to seek safety, many residents flocked to the local movie theater as a place of refuge. The theater was filled with people seeking shelter from the impending danger, hoping that the now gigantic and ever expanding wouldn't be able to infiltrate the building.
Inside the theater, tension built as the audience anxiously awaited any updates on the situation outside. People huddled together, their expressions a mix of fear and uncertainty. The atmosphere was thick with apprehension and a sense of impending doom.
Suddenly, the silence was shattered as chaos erupted. The jam found its way into the theater, seeping through crevices and vents. Panic ensues as the patrons realized that nowhere is safe. The jam started engulfing individuals, dissolving them in its gelatinous mass. Screams of terror filled the air, blending with the desperate attempts of people trying to escape.
The scene was a frantic battle for survival as the terrified moviegoers scrambled to find exits and evade the Blob's clutches. Some attempted to barricade themselves in projection booths or other rooms, while others ran frantically through darkened corridors. The tension was heightened by the eerie lighting and the echoing sounds of screams and destruction.
Fortunately for all of mankind, the movie theater served as a jam trap. Teenagers with fire extinguishers froze the jam and transported the frozen jam into the Arctic.
But here's the scoop.
The jam wasn't jam at all. The jam was jelly.
Jelly contains a lot more water than does jam and it was the freezing of the water inside the substance that made it vulnerable to cold. With a slightly less water content, the substance would have completely destroyed Downsville which would have ruined the career of Steve McQueen among other catastrophes including the end of the world.
Furthermore, jam would never be able to seep into the movie theater due to its thicker consistency.
The whole myth was created by jam haters who don't relish the presence of fruit parts and prefer them strained into fruit juice to tone down the flavor through concentration.
The fierce battle between jam haters and jelly lovers has been waging for centuries. The purpose of this expose is to strike back at the jam haters who started the malicious rumor in the first place.
The blob was jelly not jam.
The town in which the blob tried to destroy is called Downingtown. The 1958 science-fiction horror film "The Blob" is set in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The movie depicts a gelatinous alien creature that consumes everything in its path, posing a threat to the town and its inhabitants.

The scene serves as a pivotal moment in the film, showcasing the Blob's relentless nature and the overwhelming threat it poses to the town. It highlights the vulnerability of ordinary people in the face of an unstoppable force and adds to the overall suspense and horror of the movie.
where did the blob come fromChatGPT
In the 1958 science-fiction horror film "The Blob," the origin of the Blob is not explicitly revealed. The movie focuses more on the threat the Blob poses to the town and its inhabitants rather than exploring its origins.
The Blob is depicted as an extraterrestrial life form that crash-lands on Earth. It is a gelatinous, amorphous creature that consumes anything in its path, growing larger as it engulfs more matter. The exact details of its origin or how it ended up on Earth are left to the imagination of the viewers.
While the film does not provide a specific explanation, it is common in science fiction for alien creatures to arrive on Earth through various means such as meteorites, spacecraft, or dimensional portals. It is likely that the Blob followed a similar pattern, arriving on Earth through some form of cosmic event or interstellar travel.
It's important to note that there have been different adaptations and remakes of "The Blob" over the years, including a 1988 remake and subsequent sequels. In some of these adaptations, the Blob's origin story may vary slightly, but the general premise of an alien entity threatening a town remains consistent.
can you see the people engulfed by the blob inside the blobChatGPT
In most depictions of the Blob, including the 1958 film and its subsequent adaptations, it is generally portrayed that once a person is engulfed by the Blob, they become completely submerged within its gelatinous mass. The Blob's semi-translucent nature allows viewers to see the outlines or shadows of people trapped inside, adding to the horror and suspense of the film.
Typically, the victims are shown struggling and screaming as they are slowly consumed by the Blob. Their bodies are assimilated into the Blob's substance, ultimately disappearing from sight. The Blob absorbs and digests everything in its path, leaving no trace of its victims.
While the specifics may vary depending on the particular adaptation or scene, the general concept is that the Blob envelops its victims, making them disappear within its amorphous body. This contributes to the creature's menace and the fear it instills in the characters and audience.
which is more translucent jelly or jamChatGPT
In general, jelly tends to be more translucent than jam. Jelly is made by extracting juice from fruits and then straining out any solids, resulting in a clear or translucent final product. It has a smooth and gel-like consistency.
On the other hand, jam is made by cooking crushed or chopped fruits with sugar, resulting in a thicker mixture that retains some of the fruit's texture and often contains fruit pieces or fibers. Jam is typically less translucent than jelly due to the presence of fruit solids.
While there can be variations in the transparency of both jelly and jam depending on the specific recipe and preparation method, jelly is generally considered to have a higher degree of translucency compared to jam.
the difference between jam and jellyChatGPT
Jam and jelly are both sweet spreads made from fruit, but they have some differences in terms of their ingredients and texture. Here are the main distinctions between jam and jelly:
Ingredients: Jam is made from crushed or pureed fruit, along with sugar and sometimes pectin, a naturally occurring thickening agent. The fruit in jam is typically left in small chunks or pieces. Jelly, on the other hand, is made by straining the fruit juice and discarding the solid pieces, such as seeds and pulp. It is made from fruit juice, sugar, and pectin, resulting in a smoother texture.
Texture: Jam has a thicker and chunkier consistency due to the fruit pieces it contains. It is less firm and more spreadable. Jelly, however, has a smoother and more gelatinous texture because it is made from fruit juice without any fruit solids. It tends to be firmer and holds its shape better.
Clarity: Jelly is clear and transparent, while jam is more opaque and may have a cloudy appearance due to the fruit particles present.
Spreadability: Due to its thicker consistency and fruit pieces, jam can be slightly less spreadable compared to jelly. Jelly, being smoother and gel-like, spreads more easily.
Taste: Jam often has a stronger fruit flavor since it includes the fruit pulp or pieces. Jelly, on the other hand, has a more concentrated fruit taste because it is made from strained fruit juice.
Usage: Both jam and jelly can be used in a variety of ways, such as on toast, bread, or pastries. However, because of its smoother texture, jelly is often preferred for applications where a clear and smooth consistency is desired, like filling pastries or glazing. Jam, with its fruit pieces, is often used for spreading on bread or incorporating into recipes where the texture and flavor of the fruit are desired.
Ultimately, the choice between jam and jelly comes down to personal preference and the specific application in which they will be used.
what is the meaning of gelatinousChatGPT
The term "gelatinous" refers to a substance or material that has a gel-like or jelly-like consistency. It describes something that is thick, viscous, and has a texture similar to gelatin. When a substance is described as gelatinous, it means it is capable of forming a gel or has a characteristic of being gel-like in its texture and appearance.
Gelatinous substances often exhibit a certain level of firmness or elasticity, yet they are also somewhat wobbly or jiggly, similar to gelatin or jelly. Examples of gelatinous substances include certain types of foods like jelly desserts, certain sauces or glazes, as well as certain types of plant or animal tissues that have a gel-like consistency.
which contains more water....jelly or jamChatGPT
In general, jelly contains more water than jam. Jelly is typically made by straining the fruit juice, removing the fruit solids, and using primarily the liquid portion. As a result, the water content in jelly is relatively higher compared to jam.
Jam, on the other hand, is made by crushing or pureeing the fruit, including both the juice and the pulp or fruit pieces. The presence of fruit solids in jam means that it has a lower water content compared to jelly.
However, it's important to note that the exact water content can vary depending on the specific recipe and manufacturing process used for making jelly or jam. Different fruits may also have varying water content, which can impact the final product.
write a plot summary of the 1958 movie the blobChatGPT
"The Blob" is a 1958 science fiction horror film directed by Irvin S. Yeaworth Jr. The movie follows the story of a small town that becomes terrorized by a mysterious and insatiable alien creature.
The film begins with the discovery of a strange gelatinous substance by an old man in the woods. Unaware of its dangerous nature, he touches it, and the substance attaches itself to his hand, gradually consuming him. Terrified, he seeks help but fails to warn others of the impending danger.
Meanwhile, teenager Steve Andrews (played by Steve McQueen) and his girlfriend Jane Martin (played by Aneta Corsaut) witness the old man's plight and rush him to the local doctor. However, the blob-like creature has already consumed the old man entirely, leaving only his skeletal remains.
As Steve and Jane try to convince the skeptical authorities about the danger, the creature grows in size and becomes more aggressive, preying on unsuspecting townsfolk. The blob has an insatiable appetite, engulfing everything in its path and growing larger with each victim it consumes.
The town is thrown into chaos and panic as the blob continues its unstoppable rampage. Steve, Jane, and a few others realize the urgency of the situation and take matters into their own hands. They devise a plan to save the town by trapping the blob inside a movie theater and freezing it using a fire extinguisher, exploiting its vulnerability to cold.
In a climactic battle, the townspeople successfully manage to freeze the creature, temporarily halting its destructive spree. The military is then called in to transport the frozen blob to an Arctic region where it can never cause harm again.
"The Blob" is a thrilling and suspenseful film that showcases the efforts of a group of determined individuals who fight against a relentless and otherworldly threat. It explores themes of fear, unity, and the resilience of humanity in the face of unimaginable danger.

There were times, many instances in fact, when you managed to pin the villain down. The constant face to face encounters only ending with the villain toying with you and taunting you. It’s honesty a surprise that you’re still alive considering all the chances he has had to kill you. Condescending dick, you were sure he was getting off by the chase. This all seemed to be a game to him and it infuriated you even more since you were practically entertaining it. He was thriving off the little interactions with the quirkless detective.
The way he would cockily stride his way to you with that big smirk smeared across his face. Eyes devouring your body that left an unsteady chill run down your spine. His presence held such power and intimidation that you couldn’t help but take steps back with every step he took forward. You always felt like a deer in headlights whenever he swaggered towards you. No amount of experience or expertise will ever get you accustomed to his predatory gaze.
“Go figure they’d send a quirkless bitch my way. They must really hate’ya.” He said with a rather amusing look, never breaking his eye contact with you. He grabbed a piece of your hair twisting it softly between his fingers, as if he were inspecting it. You could’ve sworn he was sniffing it too.
Yea, you were quirkless but you managed to hold your own ground. Having to work ten times as hard, having to prove yourself among your peers and having to earn the respect and position you have worked so tirelessly for years. While being quirkless was a hinderance or handicap as some would say, it was a mountain that you decided needed to be climbed. You reached its peak and planted your flag years ago. This title wasn’t given to you mindlessly. You dedicated tears, sweat, and blood to get to where you are now. Gained recognition from higher up heroes themselves and even managed to get assigned to Bakugo’s case; the most wanted and powerful villain in Japan. Now, you weren’t in denial either, you were well aware you stood no chance against the hero toe to toe. Hell, even the top tier heroes themselves barely made it out alive. You were simply here to pinpoint his locations and set up an area for his arrest. What seemed to be a simple task ended up as a wide scale massacre with Bakugo skimping through all the heroes nonchalantly. It was a complete blood bath. All the pro heroes who were posted for defense that day were to be blown up to pieces; the graphic scene till this day haunts you in your sleep. Sleepless nights and paranoia became a norm, with the image of him dripping with blood casually stalking towards you was something that you have not been able to shake out of your head for months now.
He had forced you into an alley that day. You were trying your best to steady your breathing and figure out an attempt to get the fuck out of this predicament. Your eyes skimmed for any opening, avoiding his intense gaze, looking anywhere but his blooded face.
You felt your back hit against the wall. He was now sickly close to you, you placed your head down in shame looking at his shoes rather than his face. Knowing damn well there was no way out of this situation. Beads of sweat ran down your back and colored your forehead. He slammed both his hands against the wall, causing you to jump, your head now trapped in between his forearms. His body hovered over, the smell of blood forcing its way into your nose. The intense body heat radiating off of him, had your head spinning. You felt frozen in place, every worst case scenario rushing through your mind, trying to stay steady while silently sobbing to yourself.
“My eyes are up here slut.” He gripped your chin roughly forcing your eyes to meet his. You took in the rough image of the villain in front of you. You saw the spiky unruly hair sticking out in every direction, some parts drenched in the blood of his victims. His sharp facial features looked even more intimidating under this light, little scars freckled his skin here and there scattered throughout; and his 5 o'clock shadow appearing in patches. It was his eyes that took you by surprise most. None of the pictures posted online, none of the documents you saw ever matched what appeared in front of you. The dark ruby colored eyes stared curiously back at you, analyzing your every move. The stare felt strangely intimate, and it probably would’ve been considering the circumstance. Y/N wasn’t sure if she was really fully conscious of what was happening, but having him so close was making her feel unnerved. Hell, even as a villain there are many people who admire and drool over the criminal. But seeing him this up close drenched in the blood of your peers was when the fear and guilt washed over you and you quickly snapped out of his trance. You were brought back to your senses and reminded of your current predicament. The images of the heroes fighting and dying at the hands of this animal quickly flooded in. Anger now overwhelming your sense. You reminded yourself that you were quirkless, not helpless. And with that thought, you broke your intense gaze away from him, slapping his hand off your chin and quickly spitting in his face. The action caught him rather off guard and you took this delayed response to knee him in the balls and bolt for it “FUCKING BITCH!” He roared.
~
Ever since then your encounters with Bakugo have been rather odd to say the least. You didn’t really know how else to describe it. You couldn’t tell what he was thinking. There were instances where he would get rather “touchy” and others where he would straight up just physically hurt you. It was a wind whirl of emotions and odd behavior whenever you encountered him. You didn’t know what to make of it either. He could’ve killed you months ago and the fact that he hasn’t, has left you feeling uncomfortable and confused. You felt yourself wanting to avoid him now, you haven’t been prioritizing his case anymore and you’ve lost all the spunk and passion you had in the beginning. Continuously failing to catch him and having countless of pro heroes dying at the hands of his explosions was something you no longer had the heart to bare.
Especially now that whenever you found him he’d just toy with you. It was beginning to seem as if he's looking forward to these little encounters, like he’s waiting for you. You began to notice the issue when he was becoming purposefully sloppy in hiding his tracks, it was if he was screaming to be caught. And after working his case for over a year Y/N knew his actions, how careful and precise he could be when he wanted to. A perfectionist in his own right but now, now he was practically waving a flag yelling at you where he is and to come and get him. This was a total 180 from his usual behavior and tactic and with each encounter becoming more unseemly; Y/N thought it was best to take a break from the scandalous villain. You decided on no longer participating on the missions. You couldn’t shake off the eerie feeling of this situation and where you were once so headstrong stepping into the battlefield, your courage and pride was stripped from you. Now the only thing you prioritize was staying the hell away from him. So with whatever information you did find on the villain was quickly handed over to the hero agency without any hesitation.
~
After a few months of you steering clear from the villain, his crime scenes were becoming more brutal and graphic by the week. His killing sprees drastically increasing and the victims were piling up. Y/N couldn’t help but to let guilt consume her. Thoughts of Bakugo infiltrated Y/N’s mind. From the moment she woke up, to while she’d desperately attempt to sleep. You felt yourself slowly going insane. As if your movements were being watched at all times. Your mental state began taking a toll on you and was affecting your work. You could no longer focus on anything for a span of time without the mere image of a bloodied Bakugo appearing in your head.
His case was one you guiltily found compassion in. One of the top students in UA Academy showing nothing but absolute potential to become a top ranking hero crumbled and fell to villainy after his long time friend Izuku Midoriya, was killed trying to save him. It appeared the guilt ate him up inside and as a result, Bakugo quickly blamed the heroes for being weak and unable and decided on taking matters to his own hands by killing everyone involved that day in Midoriya’s death. This paired on with him living in an abusive household led to what he is now, at least that’s what Y/N assumed. Y/N’s heart felt torn in two feeling somewhat sympathetic towards him due to his rough upbringing and traumatic past but either way it did not excuse the atrocities he was committing now. You felt yourself falling deeper into the rabbit hole because of this man. You finally decided this couldn’t continue on any longer. You requested a transfer, figure you cut your losses with Bakugo’s case and move on with your life.
~
It had been two weeks since you’ve transferred departments and moved into the inner city of Tokyo. It was new, it was adventurous, and it was a step forward. A perfect way to start fresh and move on. You felt the withdrawals from Bakugo’s case every now and then, mainly the guilt consuming you at night or whenever you saw the news appear on TV with a new crime he had committed. You did your best to avoid those emotions though. He was no longer your problem and you did everything you could anyways. Regardless, your attempts at catching him always resulted with blood on your hands.
It was a particular long day at work. You decided on staying later than usual setting up the finishing touches in your new office. You figured you’d also catch up on some cases to avoid getting swamped on Monday. By the end of it you came to realize it was a quarter past midnight. “Oh shit, I gotta get the hell outta here,’ you mumbled to yourself while you quickly got your personal things and organized the remaining loose ends in the office. You locked up everything and exited out the building, deciding on taking the metro home since you felt exhausted and couldn’t commit to the 2 mile walk.
You weren’t used to the metro being so empty and silent, but it was rather peaceful you thought. While the doors open you took no notice in the looming figure behind you. Exhausted and empty minded you walked in, to the doors behind you closing. You were instantly snapped out of your daze when you got shoved against the pole and a hand quickly covering your mouth to silence your scream.
“I’m real upset quirkless.” You immediately recognized the voice and a chill ran down your spine. You looked up to see the reflection of Bakugo off the window, he was staring at you dead in the eye. His signature scowl heavily evident on his face.
“Are you trying to hide from me? Made me follow your ass all the way to Tokyo now? Come on quirkless, you know I hate being teased.” He positioned himself to have his crotch lined up with your ass. You felt the pressure only getting bigger with each word he spoke. Your heart was racing by this point, you tried to wiggle your way out of his grasp but he only gripped you harder as a result. He pulled your hair forcing you to look at him once again through the reflection.
“What happened slut, got bored of me? Am I not important enough anymore to catch? I’ve killed hundreds of people ya know, why did you stop trying to arrest me? Don’t tell me another villain got your attention. I don’t mind killing off the competition babe.” He gripped your hair even harder to the point where your skull was becoming numb, your cheeks already salted with tears.
“Fucking slut, I should seriously punish you. You’ve been making me work overtime.”
The train did a gradual stop and the doors open once again with two individuals walking in. Y/N felt a bit of hope wash over her until Bakugo moved to sit down on the opposite direction, forcing you on top and both your backs facing the two people who just walked in. Since he was wearing a hoodie no one would be able to recognize him from this angle. Right now the situation looked like two people who are just foundling on the train. You now sat directly on top of the villain’s lap. His hand still covering your mouth harshly. When you felt the bulge in his pants fully erect is when you began to whimper.
“Awe, did my slut miss me? Don’t worry detective, I’ll give you some nice warranted attention.” His free hand began to stroke your exposed thigh. The action immediately had you squish your thighs together and attempt to get away. But he simply responded with gripping you tighter.
“Try anything and I’ll fucking take you right here, right now. I’ll blow up everyone in this fucking train. Try me bitch.”
He placed a testing hand on your thigh and tapped it softly as if waiting for your reaction. You stayed still not daring to move. “Come on baby, open up for your favorite villain.”
You silently nodded your head no, more tears springing out. He gripped your thigh roughly.
“Y/N, I won’t ask again. Fucking open.” The authority and venom that came from that demand left you having goosebumps. The fear reached you and before you knew it, you had your legs opened and spread for him.
"Atta girl.” He hummed satisfied and began stroking your inner thigh. Absolute shame and guilt overtaking your senses, you felt completely out of control and held prisoner. Your mind trying to disassociate itself with the current reality you’re in right now. But only to being brought back with his rough hands violating you and his threatening tone looming over you. “Now, I’m gonna release my hand from your mouth. If you make any fucking noise, I’ll kill everyone in this metro and make you watch while they beg for their lives, m’kay.” You nodded rather quickly, you wouldn’t be dumb enough to even dare to do such a thing. Too many people have already fallen victim to this animal, you refuse to take part in anymore blame for it. You’d figure you just let him use you and quickly get over the situation and forget it ever happen. Maybe you’ll set up an attempt to try and kill him yourself. Either way, the sooner this is over the sooner you get to go home and ball your eyes out and come up with a plan. He hummed again with your response.
“Good girl.” His hand slowly and hesitantly left your mouth and snaked its way to your thighs. He gripped both of them and forced your legs to open wider.
"Really liking the skirt baby. Makes accessing you so much easier.” He chuckled in your ear, mocking you. Ironic considering this is the first time you’ve worn a skirt in over a year. Your fucking luck. This whole thing was just entertainment for him, bastard.
His hands slowly made themselves lower reaching the inner most part of your thighs. He pulled the skirt up, completely showcasing your thong and pantyhose. You practically heard him salivating behind you. You tried to close your legs feeling painfully embarrassed.
“Tsk. What did I say Y/N” he forced your legs apart once again but with more aggression and speed, that lead you to buckle your hips onto him. You instantly became flushed, feeling the heat rise to your cheeks at the realization of what you just did. You heard him groan.
“Such a fucking tease.” He ripped your pantyhose apart, giving him full entrance to your underwear. The cold air had a cooling sensation on your inner thighs and you felt yourself softy throb. You let out a silent whine and he quickly shoved two of his fingers in your mouth while the other started doing soft circles on your clit.
“Fuck quirkless. You’re so wet, always knew you were a fucking whore for me.”
Even to your surprise you didn’t expect yourself to be this hot and ready for him. You felt completely betrayed by your body but you couldn’t help in relishing in the sensation. It felt so good to finally be touched by someone even if it was someone as vile as him. Is this what it feels like to have the most dangerous man about finger fuck you on the metro train? Maybe you can just pretend you’re getting touched by Jim- the cute and quirky coworker of yours, but with every flick even that was seeming to be difficult already. You were sucking and licking his fingers shamelessly and subconsciously grinding down on his erection. You were definitely disgusted from yourself. But you’d be lying if the thought of fucking this villain hasn’t crossed your mind. Especially with the constant harassment you faced whenever you crossed paths, how he’d violate you but never to this extent. Always leaving you in an array of emotions. Even now you’re having a hard time understanding what exactly is happening.
Your eyes snapped right open when the fingers in your mouth left to slap your pussy. You glared at him with a concerning look. He only smiled in response, the sadistic kind.
“You seemed distracted baby. Got me doing all this work and you’re not even paying attention.”
His wet fingers hooked your underwear and causally pulled them off. You were now completely exposed and the reality of the situation was settling on you. “Bakugo please don’t.”
“After you were sucking and grinding on me? Don’t act so innocent now bitch, you’re fucking soaked. Pussy is practically begging for my cock.”
He slipped one finger inside slowly, as if he was exploring the inside of your pussy. His fingers were thick and scarred due to years of using his quirk. The sensation alone was enough for you to throw your head back on his shoulder, opening your legs wider for him. You couldn’t grasp the reason for your actions. Here you were shamelessly opening yourself up and enjoying the fingers of a villain who has caused so much destruction and brought about so much pain in your life. How is it that you’re enjoying this? You really are a terrible person.
“Fuck baby, this is quite the sight.”
Any attempt in trying to hide what you and Bakugo were doing was completely thrown out the window by the sloppy and lewd noises from the villain fingering you. You began to bite your bottom lip in attempt to hold back the moans trying to escape you when he added a second finger.
“Don’t hold them noises back, let these people know how good you feel from just by my fingers slut.” By this point you couldn’t control the soft noises coming out of you even though you were trying. He was fingering you with such expertise, you were feeling yourself beginning to melt under him. When was the last time someone had touched you liked this? Are you so touch starved that you’re about to cum from out of all people- Bakugou Katisuki? Your mind was spinning.
The train reached its second stop. You tried to close your legs and compose yourself before the doors had open but Bakugo didn’t stop his assault. “Bakug-“
“Keep them open baby. We’ll put on a show for whoever sees. I don’t give a fuck.”
The only two passengers who were on the train walked out rather quickly and with no one else entering, it was just you and this villain inside. You couldn’t tell if that was a good thing or bad but at least the risk of him hurting someone else isn’t looming over your head. Instead of taking this moment to escape you threw your arms up gripping Bakugo by the neck. Might as well and try to get this over with. Sooner this ends, the sooner you get go home and bleach your skin clean and pray for forgiveness to whichever god decides to listen. This action did indeed catch him slightly by surprise but he stopped fingering you momentarily and ripped your shirt off revealing your bra to him. He quickly gripped both of your breasts massaging them in his hand.
“Turn around.” He huskily said into your ear. Already lost in the sensation of how good he was making you feel, you quickly got off him to then get back on straggling him. You were now back on him facing him with your cunt completely exposed, skirt crumbled up to your waist, and your breasts directly in his face. He was smirking down on you. He gripped the center of your bra and activated his quirk leaving the bra in shreds.
“Any idea how long I’ve been wanting to fuck this pretty little body of yours?” He gripped your neck, choking you slightly while his mouth made his way to your nipple. “Way too fucking long. Gonna devour your little cunt. Gonna make you pay for all the trouble you’ve been causing me.” His hand left your throat and began squeezing and pinching your nipple. The action causing a moan to rip out of you. “Fucking bitch, you’ve been such a distraction.” You were gripping and pulling his hair now while grinding furiously against his crouch in a desperate attempt to feel some type of friction. “Bakugo-“
“Katsuki,” he corrected, “we’ve been past the formalities for a while now”
You blushed, you rarely call anyone by their first name but Bakugo could be the exception. Besides it’s not like he wasn’t fingering your pussy like a jackhammer on a public train 5 minutes ago, not like you were grinding on him like a desperate dog in heat right now...
“Suki,” you said hoping the cute pet name would be enough to grab his attention, you attempted to sound as desperate and needy as possible, “please make me cum already.” You pleaded while placing your hands on his shoulders. Makeup smudged from the tears and sweat, lipstick smeared on your chin from him covering it, clothes all ruined and your hair a mess, you already looked so fucked out, Bakugo just ate the sight up. He had his hands gripping the side of your hips caressing them. You leaned in wanting a kiss until he quickly gripped your face squeezing your cheeks together preventing it so. “On your knees baby.”
While still squeezing your face you slowly get off his lap on your knees in between his legs.
“Open your mouth and show me your tongue.” He released his tight grip but kept his hand in place, you opened your mouth and slowly stuck out your tongue. He gave a devious smirk, in which you saw something enlighten in his eyes. The bright red color seeming more mahogany now. He leans in lining his mouth above yours and spits on your tongue. He nods his head allowing you to swallow, which you complied easily to. You now waited patiently for his next orders, your full submissive side completely taking over, not like you have much of a choice anyways. Regardless, the desire to please him and the desperation from under is consuming your every thought and sensation.
“Go on slut, suck daddy’s cock.” He leans into the seat with his legs fully spread to you. You slowly unzip his pants with shaking hands allowing his dick to spring free. You nearly drooled at the sight wanting to taste him badly. He was completely erect, a huge vain running down the base of his cock, the tip already covered in precum looking swollen and red. You lean in his dick using your hands to pump him, you slowly bought the tip towards your mouth giving it small kitten like licks. As you began sucking the villain in front of you, he lets out small grunts and groans throughout. He eventually pulls your hair and shoves his dick entirely in your mouth forcing itself to hit the back of your throat. 10 seconds pass by and he hasn’t removed his hand, 11, 12… your eyes begin watering and you’re desperately attempting to get fresh air. You begin pulling away only for Katsuki to laugh and hold you down tighter. “Aha’ha choking on my dick detective? Such a cock hungry whore… this outa teach you a lesson, maybe I’ll get some hand cuffs late-later on and treat you like you really deserve, yea-yeah. That sounds soo good.”
While Bakugo goes back and forth with himself, you begin getting red faced and losing consciousness he pulls your hair up forcing you off and you while you take this opportunity to weed in gaps of air desperately and choking, he quickly shoves himself back inside your mouth. This time he moved your head in up/down motions, you attempted your best to slurp and suck with minimal oxygen entering your system, but it was proven to be very difficult, luckily enough you notice the villain becoming slower and sloppier with his movements. You brought yourself to deep throat his cock once more until the warm liquid has finally entered your mouth. The taste sour and sticky inside, this is what sin must taste like you thought.
As on cue, the metro did a halt and you instantly recognized the location. You gave a side eye to the villain next to you who also knew this was the stop to your neighborhood. He self confidently got up and immediately zipped his pants. He took off the hoodie he wore only leaving the black tank top underneath and shoved it over your head. The hoodie was long enough to cover your whole body and you were thankful since your current garments were in shreds across the floor. It also smelled strangely sweet, odd, like burnt caramel? Maybe the lack of oxygen is making you slightly delusional? You assumed, well hoped- this is where you would go separate ways with the villain. Have this memory go to the grave with you and forget it ever happened. But to your lovely surprise he picks you up bridal style and carries you out the metro. You looked at him questioningly, the feeling of dread looming over and suddenly becoming overwhelming just waiting for his response. He simply smirked.
“You’re clocking in overtime tonight detective.”

Burned
Request: @seerachii-art
Tumblr media
Description: Mc had gotten very used to the Devildom and would wander around by themself now. They had pacts with the seven highest ranking demons right after the Prince himself and they were close friends with the angels, the powerful sorcerer, and Barbatos and Diavolo themselves. They never accounted for a lower ranking demon wanting to attack them for these relationships.
CW: mentions of burns, slight gore (not a lot)
Lucifer-
•he had gone out looking for Mc after they never showed up for dinner.
•he was very pissed that they went out alone, but he assumed if they really needed help they would call or use their pact to summon him.
•he walked through the Devildom with a very calm demeanor.
•of course, that was right up until he actually saw them.
•Mc was sitting outside of RAD with Barbatos hovering over them like a worried mother.
•"Mc, it is past time for dinner. What are you doing still at..."
•his voice faded out as Mc looked up at him.
•they were holding a damp towel over half their face and tears were flowing freely out of their open eye.
•his normal calm demeanor gave way to an eerie calm.
•"what happened?"
•his voice was low and made Mc flinch away from him.
•they looked so pathetic...
•Barbatos tried to explain what happened but he looked straight at Mc, waiting for their recount of events.
•"he was saying, saying bad things about you." They somehow got out through all the crying.
•lucifer was starting to fill in the blanks himself, but he still needed to assess the damage in order to decide what punishment would befit a lower demon who dared to harm this human.
•Barbatos helped Mc to gently pull the towel away from their face and show Lucifer the large burn covering over their eye.
•the cold towel had stopped the skin from pulling away from their face more than it already had.
•needless to say that calm demeanor quickly turned into burning hot (no pun intended) anger.
•with the help of Barbatos, who had just so happened to be leaving RAD at the time Mc was attacked, Lucifer was able to get them home.
•he offered, more than once, to fly back but they refused so he settled on just carrying them back.
•every fiber of his being wanted to go after the demon that harmed Mc, but he knew he had to get them home and settled before he could even think about leaving their side again.
•Mc refused any magical treatment, so Lucifer took them back to the human world for medical treatment.
•they ended up with a scar over the eye they had unfortunately lost sight in.
•everytime Lucifer saw that scar he'd get very irritated and would be stuck to Mc's side up until he physically could not have them with him for work.
•would pass them onto Simeon so he could keep an eye on them because he didn't trust any of his brothers to keep them completely out of harms way.
•the demon who hurt them was currently (and for the next few centuries) being used as a chew toy for Cerberus.
Mammon-
•rarely let's Mc out of his sight,
•so when they somehow manage to give him the slip one day he starts to freak out, rightfully so.
•not only that but his pact mark was starting to heat up, that only happened when Mc was in trouble.
•he retraces their steps from that day hoping to find Mc at one of the places they had visited.
•he smells them before he actually sees them.
•a mix of tears, sweat, and burnt flesh drew him towards a corner just outside of RAD.
•Mc was holding a sopping wet cloth up to their cheek and was wiping at the tears falling down their face with their free hand.
•every so often they would grimace as they moved the cloth around.
•Mammon was frozen in place looking at his human crying and shaking.
•he could practically feel their pain and their fear.
•he snapped out of it when he caught a glimpse of what was under the cloth.
•"Mc, who the hell burned ya?"
•he tried to keep calm, but let's be honest, being calm when the one person he loved above others was hurt was not exactly easy.
•"who. Burned. You?" His tone dropped to a threatening low growl.
•when Mc flinched at his tone he did calm down a bit though.
•he had to take care of them first before looking for revenge.
•when Mc explained that they were cornered by two lower demons and then lightly burned before they ran away, Mammon had to literally fight to keep from growling.
•it was bad enough for Mc to be attacked, but to be cornered by two demons was the most cowardly thing he had ever heard.
•when he checked the burn his heart clenched.
•there was a good chunk of flesh missing from their cheek.
•he flew them home and tried to convince them to get it magically treated so it wouldn't take as long and there'd be no scar, but Mc refused.
•he didnt leave their side after that incident.
•if you thought Mammon was possessive before, just wait until you see him now.
•he sleeps in Mc's room
•walks with them to school
•constantly texts them when in separate classes
•and goes with them wherever after school
•he doesn't trust anyone else with Mc's wellbeing.
•seeing the scar on their cheek ups his protectiveness and he will follow them around like a puppy.
Levi-
•he knew something was wrong when Mc never showed up for the new episode of an anime they were watching together.
•he was immediately anxious but tried to reason that maybe they were just caught up doing homework or maybe getting snacks and Beel cornered them for the food etc etc.
•yeah, his reasoning quickly turned into overthinking.
•he was about to go looking for them when suddenly he felt a pit in his stomach.
•he could just feel that something in the House of Lamentation was wrong.
•he opened his door only to be met with panicked shouts from floor to floor and the sound of running footsteps.
•like he thought, something was wrong.
•"Leviathan!"
•angry Lucifer shouts were coming from downstairs, so thats where he headed to see what was so wrong.
•he stopped in his tracks though as the view of Mc curled into a ball on Mammon's lap with a towel over their face entered his field of vision.
•he was supposed to be looking after them and the pit in his stomach only grew as he watched Mammon make very small and soft movements with Mc, something he never did ever.
•"Mc...?"
•Levi's voice was small as he got closer and could finally smell it,
•the burnt flesh on Mc's face being held together by the cold towel.
•he almost gagged, and would have if Lucifer didn't suddenly grab his shoulder pulling his senses away from the smell and sight.
•"where were you!?"
•is all Lucifer had to ask for Levi to realize that Mc got hurt,
•they got hurt on his watch,
•he couldn't protect them.
•"I- I'm ok, okay." Mc had stuttered out, the pain made it hard to string words together
•it took a moment for Levi to compose himself, and even when he did outwardly he was an utter MESS inside.
•do-dont lie, Mc..." he slowly made his way over to them, but kept his distance from them.
•they got hurt because he wasn't competent enough,
•there was no way he could let himself ever indulge in their presence after this.
•he would of course take revenge against whoever dared to hurt Mc,
•but when they reached out and gently held onto Levi's hand, their's still trembling,
•he finally decided that being with them was the only place he wanted to be.
•as much as he wanted to absolutely decimate whoever hurt them, Mc needed him there more,
•and his Henry always came first.
•besides, he was fairly certain Lucifer was already making preparations to take care of the demon.
Satan-
•he was out with Mc looking for some new books from a bookstore that just opened.
•the two got separated for barely two minutes,
•but it was more than enough time for a group of demons to walk over and taunt them.
•Mc's already poor relationship with the other demons in the Devildom had recently got worse.
•its not like Satan didn't know this,
•he was hyper aware of the fact Mc was being targeted more often by lower demons for petty jabs.
•that's why losing them in a new store caused anxiety to creep into his body and sit like a rock in the pit of his stomach.
•Mc had expressed their fear of these demons (cowards, as Satan kindly referred to them) trying something more than jabs,
•so he felt very protective over them since then, wanting them to feel safe when they were with him.
•But safe was the exact opposite of what they were now.
•Satan quickly found Mc, but he also witnessed one demon slap them,
•hard.
•hard enough that they left a burnt handprint scarred onto Mc's cheek.
•Satan could barely process what had happened.
•before he knew it his vision had gone red and he could feel a low growl coming from deep in his gut.
•he was about to go after the demons who did this but Mc stopped him with a whimper that immediately brought him back.
•he wasn't really the most calm all the time,
•but in a crisis he was the best demon to go to because he could keep a surprisingly cool head.
•once his temper had cooled down enough for him to stop clenching both his jaw and his fists, he set to work caring for them.
•As he took the time to properly dress the wound the human way, Mc explained to him what happened.
•the group apparently confronted them about Satan's reputation.
•he was once known as the cruelest and scariest demon right after Lucifer,
•but apparently rumors had started to spread that he had become soft.
•many demons blamed Mc for this change because they had a pact with him and Satan was most definitely not known for having pacts with anyone.
•as he listened to this his anger started to spike again, but he pushed it back down enough to swiftly carry the Mc home.
•he didnt want to have to rely on Lucifer for anything, but only he could come and go between the human world and the Devildom,
•and Mc needed burn treatment in an environment that would promote healing for humans.
•once he knew Mc was being well taken care of though, he finally let his anger rise and bubble at the surface.
•he got a pretty good look at the demons who hurt Mc, and Satan NEVER forgot a face.
•once the Mc had come back, the scar left by the demon made Satan's rage come back anew every time.
•he even requested that Asmo try any and all facials and treatments that could get rid of scars.
•and as for the group of demons?
•well,
•let's just say,
•you should never make the Avatar of Wrath your enemy...
Asmo-
•he and Mc were on a date.
•clothes shopping, tea, sweets, spa, and hairdresser.
•everything was going great,
•Asmo was having the most perfect time being with Mc for so long without his brothers interfering.
•that is, up until their hair appointment.
•the two were separated for a bit because they each needed different treatments done to their hair.
•Asmo didn't think much of it.
•he had taken Mc to this particular hairdresser many times already, so he never thought anything bad could possibly happen to them.
•he was proven wrong when a scream came from the other side of the building,
•the area where Mc was.
•Asmo shot up out of his chair and practically teleported to where they were.
•what he saw made this normally pretty calm demon's blood boil.
•one of the workers was bowing and apologizing repeatedly as Mc looked at them dazedly.
•but what really got to him was the intern hiding behind a corner, laughing.
•"so this is funny, is it?"
•he had snuck up behind them and asked, his voice unusually low.
•"this particular human is under the complete protection of Lord Diavolo, would you like to explain to him why there is now a burn covering half their face?"
•the intern paled at that and shook their head.
•"I would not think so. Now explain to me how this happened."
•the intern explained that they dipped the cloth that goes on Mc's face in scalding hot water.
•they knew Mc was a human and they wanted to test their limits,
•but they adamantly maintained that they never intentionally harmed Mc.
•Asmo was furious, especially because this happened in a place where he was only a few feet away.
•but he did give up on grilling the intern, deciding he'd give their name over to Diavolo and Lucifer later, in favor of comforting Mc.
•they were coming out of their daze but that meant the pain was starting to set in.
•Asmo was able to carry them out of the shop and quickly home before they could scream again,
•or cry.
•he would definitely go on a rampage if Mc started crying and killing a demon in broad daylight was not a good look for his cute image.
•he informed Lucifer what happened and trusted he would then take it to Diavolo.
•Asmo carried Mc to his room and set them in his low hanging seat so he could tend to their burn.
•thankfully it wasnt bad enough to be cause for major concern,
•but it was bad enough that Asmo was worried about some scarring.
•he was able to clean the skin around the burn and then apply a few different treatments to lessen the scarring process.
•he promised to use all kinds of facials on Mc, once they were feeling up to it, so the scars would heal quickly.
•once Mc was taken care of, he couldn't even think of leaving their side,
•so he opted to lie down on his bed with them.
•Mc fell asleep rather quickly, the trauma making them exhausted.
•Asmo couldn't fall asleep for a while though as he spent time blaming himself for the injury.
•he would never, ever, forget this day...
Beel-
•he was out to eat with Mc as usual.
•there was an all you can eat buffet that had just opened up and Beel was all willing to pay for both of their meals if Mc went with him.
•of course they did.
•it is way too hard to say no to Beel.
•while he was on his fifth plate of food, Mc wandered of to the bathroom for a small break.
•they accidentally ran into a group of demons on the way there and got into a small altercation.
•they started badgering Mc and complaining about how the nicest demon brother was no longer able nor willing to hang out with them because he'd rather be with Mc.
•it was a small, petty, argument that unfortunately ended up in a small burn that ate through the first and second layer of skin on Mc's cheek.
•the demon that did it freaked out because they knew humans were weak by my god they're way too weak!
•the group ran away, out of the restaurant, leaving Mc staring wide eyed at the floor, the pain from their cheek slowly starting to register.
•they walked calmly back to the table to grab Beel.
•"B-Beel, Beel, we need to, to leave." They had stuttered out.
•the pain was making it hard to form sentences.
•"Mc, I can get a free meal if I finish this..."
•Beel's sentence had faded off as he finally looked up.
•Mc's eyes were glazed over from the pain and blood was dripping down from the pretty sizeable hole in their cheek.
•the big demon was up and out of the restaurant in no time, carrying Mc with him.
•he didnt really know what to do in the moment but he did know Mc needed help, fast.
•he went to Solomon first because his magic is the first thing Beel's panicked mind landed on.
•Solomon immediately went to work cleaning and bandaging the wound.
•because of his medicinal herbs, he had learned a fair amount of human medicine and knew how to care for a burn.
•Beel refused to leave their side, only doing so when Solomon convinced him to call Lucifer and inform him of what happened.
•After Solomon had taken care of the burn, he talked Beel into letting Mc stay at Purgatory Hall for a few days so that the rowdy demon brothers wouldn't interfere with their healing.
•Beel was over every day, almost every hour, to check up on them.
•once the burn had healed a fair amount, Solomon was able to use his magic to prevent any scarring.
•Beel 100% blamed himself for the injury, he felt he had once again failed to protect an important part of his family.
•it took a lot of convincing from Mc and Belphie for him to stop blaming himself so much.
•he was never focused on revenge against the demons that did this as his full focus was on Mc and their recovery,
•Lucky for him, Solomon and Lucifer weren't as focused on Mc..
Belphie-
•he never really left the house and he wasn't super overprotective of Mc like the other brothers were.
•he knew their strength but also knew that if they needed him they would call for him.
•so when the pact mark he had with Mc started to heat up and quickly started to burn, he knew that was them calling for him.
•they needed his help and he was more than willing to give it.
•he left the house in a hurry as the mark started to burn more and more.
•despite trusting Mc to pretty much take care of themself,
•he couldn't deny the worry and concern rapidly growing.
•the pact mark between a human and their demon is supposed to connect them and one is supposed to be able to find the other through this mark
•but Belphie was new to pacts with humans and he wasn't quite sure how to use it to find Mc.
•this did not help his concern as he realized they could literally be anywhere in the Devildom.
•he decided to just go to all their favorite places to see if he could find them.
•he eventually found them pacing right outside the planetarium.
•it was their place, the two of them, so he mentally slapped himself for not checking there sooner.
•"Mc, whats going on?"
•he walked over to them but they turned away from him.
•he froze as one of the worst smells ever finally reached his nose.
•it was awful.
•"Mc, what happened?" He tried to reach out and grab their shoulder but he stopped when he noticed them trembling.
•"Uh, um, its nothing, nothing bad."
•their voice was trembling just as much as their body and Belphie had finally reached his limit.
•he spun them around and was about to say something but he froze.
•Mc was crying while holding their jacket over one half of their face.
•Belphie grabbed the hand that was holding the jacket and gently pried it away from their face.
•Mc grimaced with every movement and Belphie swore under his breath, hating that he was hurting them.
•once the jacket was fully gone his sleepy eyes widened and any left over drowsiness from earlier was completely gone.
•there was a large burn over their eye and the skin around it was pulling away.
•he realized that's where the smell was coming from.
•"What happened?"
•he repeated his question from earlier but this time there was no way anyone could ignore his threateningly low voice.
•"N-nothing, seriously, Im taking care of it. And I, I called Solomon and he's on, on his way to help. I'm okay."
•Belphie felt his heart drop as Mc said this.
•either they didnt trust him enough to let him help or they didnt love him enough to tell him what happened.
•he really hated both of those options.
•"I'll stay here with you until he shows up then."
•he'd feel even more awful if he brought it up and made Mc feel guilty on top of their physical pain though.
•he sat with them silently for a few minutes until Solomon showed up.
•Solomon took them back to Purgatory Hall to clean and patch up the burn.
•Belphie went with and held their hand as Solomon had to get rough to fully clean it.
•he stayed with them the whole time, swearing to never leave their side again.
•once they finally fell asleep he took it on himself to go after whoever dared to touch, let alone harm his human.
•they would pay.
•he wasn't nearly as cruel, or strong, as some of his older brothers,
•but he sure knew how to hold a grudge.
•and that promise of never leaving their side could hold off a few more hours...

Just go with it part 2
Musical beetlejuice x reader
You have to meet juno and pretend you and bj are getting married
Nsft sorta, mentions of activity
Part 1
"Babes"
....
"Sugar"
...
"Y/n"
...?
"Y/n wake up, come on babes"
...!
"Beej?" You mumble rubbing your eyes "what's wrong?" You say in a whisper.
He doesnt respond, you turn on the lamp by your bed and check your phone clock
5:42am
You sigh, looking back at the demon, now being able to see him clearly, you freeze upon seeing that the demon was now completely purple, his hair, his beard, his tie, all deep purple.
"What's wrong?" You ask again, more fear in you voice then intended
"Okay y/n" he starts, using your name rather then a pet name was never a good sign "so you remember a few nights ago when that suit came by to see if I was lying about our relationship?"
"He's back?!" You sit up, more awake "wait... wasnt the repercussion to that not that bad? Just some extra work for you?"
Beetlejuice rubs his neck "yeah, thing about that, it's not him... my mother is here, to talk to you personally..." he trails off refusing to look at you
"Your mother...." you repeat feeling your stomach drop
"Yeah..."
"What's gonna happen if she finds us out?" You ask in a whisper
"...who knows with her" the demon spits before looking away.
The two of you remain in silence over the shit beetlejuice has gotten you into it.
Beetlejuice huffs out his nose as his focus goes back to you.
"So y/n, I mean honey~" the demon pulls you up from your bed and into a side hug "ready to meet mommy dearest?" Beetlejuice tried to smile, make light of the situation, but his hair betrayed him, remaining a deep purple, even though he tried his best to plaster a grin across his face for your sake.
You didnt know much about Beetlejuice's mother, other then she didnt exactly win mother of the year, beej only opened up about her a handful of times, long story short, you knew this was gonna be a rough experience for both of you, but mostly Beej.
Beetlejuice drops his jacket around your shoulders, pulling the same ring he gave you to fool the suit, the same tacky, pretty ring, the band was black and white, and resembled a snake, the gem was a brilliant green, your heart swelled at the sight of the ring.
The ghoul drops on one knee, and gently slides the ring onto your middle finger, pausing to kiss your hand before giving you wink, under different circumstances you would die from such a cheesy romantic gesture, but now was not that time, you did appreciate beetlejuice trying to lighten the mood.
"Alright honey, you remember the drill?"
"Yes"
"That's my future wife, let's not keep the bitch waiting" he smiles linking arms with you
Future wife...
You couldnt help but give the ghoul a soft smile at the thought.
Beetlejuice takes a deep breath, smoothing his hair back, wiping the purple away in favour of his default green.
The demon grabs your hand begins to lead you to your living room, you could barely focus over the sound of your heart pounding, who could blame you, you were about to come face to face with someone Beetlejuice was afraid of.
As the two of you head down the hall , she was finally in sight, you felt your stomach drop, in your recliner sat an old woman, dressed completely in red, she had a permanent scowl across her face, her whole presence give off a bad feeling.
"Lawrence, you took your sweet time fetching your fiance" she barked causing beetlejuice to flinch
"Ya know breathers, they like their sleep-" he forces a laugh, purple slowly creeping back into his hair
"Nonsense, it's nearly 6am, that's more then a reasonable time for breathers to wake and start their pointless routines" she waves off, beetlejuice frowns and leads you to the couch, where the both of you sit.
"Its been awhile huh Ma? Like I was saying earlier, it's nice to see you again and-" beetlejuice was babbling
"Zip it" was all she said and beetlejuice clamped his mouth shut and gazed down staring at his feet. "Lawrence, I didnt come here for pointless pleasantries" her eyes meet yours "y/n l/n I dont know what Lawrence has done to you or promised you, but I can assure you he doesnt care about you, and just wants freedom, further more Lawrence, do you honestly think this breather could love you? This game of yours needs to come to an end, there is alot of paper work tied up in this farce of yours"
You were taken back by her words, she really didn't beat around the bush.
"I dont-" you start, voice trembling
"Ma, y/n loves me and I love them, see~" beetlejuice grabs your hand to show his mother the ring, she eyes the ring for a moment, then goes bad to staring daggers into her son, her scowl never faltering.
"Tacky" she huffs, a simple response like that was enough to shut her son down, beetlejuice pulled away from you, pressing his back firm against the couch, lips pressed shut and hands clamped together in his lap.
"As I was saying, Lawrence is a natural born troublemaker, and youd be smart to back out of this farce before he gains life, knocks you up with a life ruining disappointment, and vanishes from your life" she droned as she lights a cigarette, taking a deep inhale, smoke shooting out from her neck.
You swallow hard.
"I would prefer if you didnt smoke in my house, ma'am"
Juno stares at you for a moment, then shakes her head as she puts out her cigarette on your coffee table.
"Ma'am I really do trust beetlejuice, and I love him, this isnt a farce-" you began, but your words were ignored
"If you want to throw yourself into a mess, I wont stop you, I'm not here to save you, but I have to applaud his efforts on tricking someone LEGAL this time for his little game. Even though this mess of yours is going to keep him out of my way for awhile, it doesn't cover the fact that Lawrence's efforts have caused my office nothing but work. And even if this "love" was real the boy ruins everything thing he touches, cant do anything right, having him around only causes headaches, you'll see soon enough y/n," Juno's hurtful words drone on, as if her son wasnt sitting across the table from her.
"Back to the matter, even if you do choose to marry this fool, I wanted to warn you about the mess your getting yourself into, giving him life would only cause you grief, and I dont want to hear it when you get to the netherworld after a suicide his actions caused"
You grit your teeth at that last remark, you knew juno thought poorly of beetlejuice, but did she honestly thing her son was so awful that youd kill yourself over his actions, you felt like you were going to be sick.
"Lawrence, why is your hair purple?"
You glance over to beetlejuice, who infact was completely purple, the deepest purple you've ever seen him wear.
Beetlejuice bites down on his lip, his hands clenched in fists as they sat on his thighs, he was frozen.
"Bee?" You gently whisper as you slowly place a hand on his, the ghoul flinches at your touch, beetlejuice slowly takes your hand in his and gives it a light squeeze.
"Come on Ma, y/n my be dramatic, and get mad at me from time to time, but they'd never kill themselves over anything dumb I'd do, and hell we already talked it over, we dont want kids" the ghoul leans into you for support.
Juno scowls "to remind you both, I'm not here to stop you two, the only thing I'm here for is to warn this foolish breather, and double check to make sure YOU arent mucking about and blackmailing the living again, there is a lot of paper work involved in this little game of yours, and you still havent delt with the paper work of your failed marriage and death by the hands of that poor child you tricked" her eyes narrow down to beetlejuice, juno pauses, then sighs
"Lawrence just come clean, this little game of yours has gone on long enough, even if you didnt blackmail this poor soul into marrying you, do you honestly think they love you? You dont actually think this breather wants you around do you?"
"That's not true, I do-"
You werent able to finish that sentence, with a snap of juno's fingers your mouth is now cover with a strip of duct tape.
"You've honestly fooled yourself into thinking you could be loved didnt you? Pitiful, maybe this breather found you amusing now, but you dont think it's going to last do you?" Her questioning goes on, she was convinced her son was unlovable, you tug away at the duct tape but it refuses to budge, beetlejuice was too focused on his mother's words, to the point where he was starting to believe her, the purple slowly faded from him in favour of white, a color you've never seen on him.
"Lawrence you're little game is over, and you're going to clean up the mess you made, I have a decade's worth of paper work for you to fill out over this farce and every other little issue you caused, I knew from the start this was fake, no living person in their right mind would let you into their life willingly"
A decade's worth of paper work?! Was that so important that she was willing to manipulate her own son into thinking he was worthless?
"Lawrence you are such a screw up, the amount of work your little games keep giving me is coming to an end, you will never be alive, you will never be loved, let alone tolerated, and you are coming back to my office to straighten up ever little issue you have caused, if you think being invisible for a millennia is bad-" she raises her voice with each hateful word.
This duct tape wasnt going to budge, so you went with plan B, you roughly bump into the demon's side to get his attention, beetlejuice looking your way, your eyes grow wide at his expression, he was crying, black gooey tears. The two of you stare at each other what felt like an eternity, Juno's voice no longer reached him, beetlejuice snaps his fingers and the duct tape vanishes from your mouth.
You jump up from you position on the couch "I'm sorry ma'am  but bee- Lawrence isnt worthless, and yes, he can be an ass, and insensitive at times, but I love him and I really do want to marry him! And whatever stupid paper work that is tied up in this, can just fuck off..." your voice tweaks as the ghoulish women sitting across from you stands up, eyes dead set on you.
You werent great with confrontation, and beej knew this, but here you were talking back to his mother, you  his tiny sweet breather talking back to a literal monster. The white from Beetlejuice's hair quickly left in replacement to pink 'I really do want to marry him!' Those words from your lips could have made his heart start beating , tho that was shortly lived when he saw this mother stand, purple took hold of his form once again.
He couldnt let you fight his mistakes alone, though he found it hot that you could be his knight in shining armor.
No, beetlejuice is quick to jump up and link his arm with yours "see ma, this little breather stole my heart, and hell, we've been planning our little wedding for months" beetlejuice snaps his fingers and in a flash his and yours clothes change. Beetlejuice wore a red tux made with crushed velvet, with a lacy front, his whole outfit screamed tacky, but that was him. Looking down at your self, you stifle a laugh, here you were, 6:30am, dressed in a red puffy lacing monster of a dress, in all honesty this wouldnt be your first choice, but now was not that time. Beetlejuice pulls you close, you could swear he could hear how hard your heart was pounding, could you blame yourself? He looked so handsome all dressed up, even if this was fake.
"My, my Lawrence, doesnt that dress look familiar, isnt that the dress you forced that poor child to wear the last time you played this game?" his mother sneers
"Its called a call back, and y/n loves it" he sneers back you nodded in agreement, beetlejuice continues "we're still working on a venue, trying to find a band, believe me, planning a wedding is exhausting, and oh! dont be surprised if your invite gets lost in the mail ma" the demon gives a shit eating grin, you smile seeing beetlejuice has gained SOME confidence back.
"I have no interest in attending your little wedding Lawrence" she spat "it's clear you're not going to budge, and still refusing to take responsibility for your actions, you always were a slacker, and if that's the case, once you die again you will be returning to my office to deal with the mess you made" her focus turns to you "or I could end this little charade by killing your ticket to life"
Your heart stops at her words, she was a demon, Beetlejuice's grip tightens on you, the silence must have been hurting him as much as it did you.
"But I wont, itd be too much a hassle ending a life before it's time"
You sigh in relief, and beetlejuice loosens his grip.
"This will end poorly for the two of you, and I dont want to hear it" juno walks past the two of you, and with a gesture of her hand the livingroom wall opens up to reveal an office full of the dead.
"Lawrence before you join the living I need to deal with one last errand, so I will see you later, and you" Juno's boney finger points to you "you have no idea what you've signed up for" and with that she was gone, the wall closes up as if nothing happened, the two of you collapse on the floor
"Shes gone" you sigh, you've never been more scared in you entire life then you were talking to Juno
"So you like your future mother in law?" Beej jabs you side
"Oh yeah, a delight" you snort, "how long do you think we have before she notices we havent gotten married?" You tone shifts to a more serious note
"No clue, guess you'll actually need to marry me now" he pulls you into a side hug
"What?" You stammer, beetlejuice laughs at your response
"HA! Just pulling your chain there doll, theres no way in hell she's coming back to check, if I know that Bitch shes going to file away those papers for me, there's no way she'll let them just sit there for who knows how long, and this time next week she'll be harping about something else" beetlejuice stands up and pulls you up with him as he sees you struggling to move in that dress, as you raise to your feet you mumble a thanks.
"You know beej, you really do clean up good, I mean, you look very handsome all dressed up" you smile, now that that two of you were safe, you felt it was the right time to say it.
The purple in the ghoul's hair quickly vanishes at your kind words and is replaced with pink.
"Well you know doll, the tux suits me, but it looks even better on the floor, you'll see on our honeymoon~"
"Is that so?"
"Dont believe me? I'll show ya right now baby~" the ghoul pulls you close pressing his chest against yours, as fun as this little exchange was it came to a halt when you yawned.
"What a way to start a weekend, early and terrified, I think I'm gonna get a few more hours of sleep" you grumbled rubbing your eye "you mind helping me out of this dress?" Beetlejuice goes wide eyed at your question, in a flash his hands were groping for the zipper on your back.
"Naughty minx" he purrs before you swat his hands away
"I ment with magic" you breath out, you may be tired, but your genitals were now wide awake.
Beetlejuice grumbles as he snaps his fingers bringing you back into your pajamas and him in his suit.
"Thank you, I guess this wouldnt be good night, see you in a bit" you shrug as you head to your bedroom to get a few more hours of sleep, you glance back at beetlejuice, who was purple once again, you frown
"Beej do you want to sleep with me? I mean you dont need to sleep, I just thought maybe, you wouldnt want to be alone right now?" After seeing his mother maybe he could use some comfort.
There was a long silence as the demon only stares back at you, you panic
"I'm sorry, that was stupid, I'll just, uh, see you in-" you babble as you spin in your heels eager to get away from this embarrassing situation. Before you could hide away in your bedroom you feel the dicey grip if the demon's hand on your shoulder, and in a deep gravely voice he purrs
"Isn't it normal for a husband and wife to sleep together?~"
you honestly felt a shiver run up your spine.
The ghoul, now only in a pair of boxers has now cuddled up to you  his legs intertwined with yours, his arms wrapped around your waist, hand rubbing up and down your back, and head nuzzled into your chest, the demon now pink, purred feeling your hands scratching his scalp, his mother was wrong, you did love him, truly and unconditionally, maybe not now, but soon, he will marry you.
Bonus
It's been days since you met his mother, and it seems like beetlejuice has been back to stop caring about it, but sometimes you see him just staring off into space.
The ghoul had only one thing on his mind, replaying the memory over and over, of you shouting "I REALLY DO WANT TO MARRY HIM!"

prompt | @ssoftlydreaming asked: nfjsja ok from sweet home can you do lee eun-hyeok and basically he has to decide if he should risk the danger of everyone in the apartment complex or save reader who is outside and struggling to survive.
warnings | female pronouns, angst, spoilers for episode one of the netflix adaptation of sweet home, if you haven’t watched episode one complete then this won’t make much sense, panic attacks, the general horror of sweet home, eun-hyuk being a logical pain in the ass, somewhat of an open-ending.
word count | 1.7K
author’s note | i hope this satisfies your masochistic desires! i’m honestly so happy to have angst as my first request, and that isn’t sarcasm at all.
Tumblr media
The sound of his descending footsteps echoing throughout the concrete stairwell became background noise to Eun-Hyuk as he stared at the unanswered messages he had sent you well over an hour ago. This was strange behavior coming from you, considering you usually responded back within minutes. Not wanting to jump to conclusions, he tried to think of a logical explanation to calm his increasing worries. Perhaps your phone died on your walk home, or you had to work over-time without a chance to inform him.
He was certain some minor inconvenience caused your abrupt absence, although he couldn’t shake off the unnerving feeling settling like a burden of tense muscles upon his shoulders. Realizing there wasn’t much more he could do, especially since all the calls he gave you went straight to voice mail, he decided to wait patiently for a reply from you and try to keep his thoughts clear during the meantime.
Eun-Hyuk stuffed his phone into his pocket as he finally reached the half-open double doors that led out onto the first floor, his ears immediately picking up on the commotion before he looked over at the front entrance that was blocked by the shutters. A group of people stood dispersed nearby, talking amongst themselves and watching one resident in particular as he tried tugging on the metal bracing that barely budged. The man sighed, dropping his arm and admitting defeat as he walked away from the shutters, mumbling to himself.
‘First the elevators aren’t working, and now this?’ he thought to himself, unimpressed with the current situation, especially since he had work that night. He wasn’t the only one annoyed by the circumstances as the surrounding people openly expressed their vexation. Although, unlike most of them, he remained calm and simply observed the scene with his hands in his pockets. Multiple residents spoke loud enough for him to catch on to the fact that the security guard was missing, which made little sense considering this was an issue for him to resolve.
“Excuse me?” a feminine voice sounded from behind him, causing him to turn around and look at the woman. “Do you have any service on your cell?” Despite having just been on his phone, Eun-Hyuk was so preoccupied with his thoughts regarding your whereabouts that he didn’t notice the minor detail of whether he had any service.
Pulling out his phone and unlocking it, he immediately dialed your number, taking the possibility to hopefully connect with you and find out where you were. When his ear met with a high-pitched ringing, Eun-Hyuk lowered the phone, lost in thought for a second before looking at the woman.
“I guess not,” he said, watching as her face dropped in disappointment and she turned to walk away, but he stopped her with a question. “What’s going on here?”
The woman hesitated, wondering if anything was even worth sharing considering she would give him more questions than answers. She went on to explain how every main exit had been closed up, locking everyone inside. Although she speculated someone was behind this, she had no idea who it was and for what purpose it was done.
The explanation caused Eun-Hyuk to swallow thickly before turning his gaze towards the concealed entrance. He stared for a moment, silently wishing for your safety.
                                                          ―――
A shrill ringing penetrated your ear, causing you to jerk your head away from your phone and hang up on your attempt at calling Eun-Hyuk. With a frustrated cry, you threw your cellphone upon the ground, hearing the shattering of the screen as it smacked face-first against the concrete.
On the verge of tears, you made yourself as small as possible in the alleyway's corner, pulling your knees up to your chest as you rested your forehead on top of them. Your breathing grew increasingly more labored as the sensation of dread and pure hopelessness consumed your mind.
Eun-Hyuk’s words repeated in your head during times like this, when you were at risk of having a panic attack. Stay still. Take slow breaths. Think of something nice.
You squeezed your eyes shut, allowing the gathering tears to flow freely down your cheeks as they gathered at the tip of your chin. Forcing yourself to take in deep breaths, your trembling body gradually stilled. Eventually, your thoughts morphed as you focused on your breathing, rather than the surrounding chaos.
Think of something nice.
Eun-Hyuk’s face filled your mind, the sight prompting a ghost of a smile. You recalled your first meeting which occurred almost a year ago, when you had just moved into Green Roof Apartments. Someone had suddenly removed the towering stack of boxes you were carrying from your hold, and just as you were about to thank the person for helping, you realized you recognized him.
It turns out that you both used to attend the same high school, although you weren’t in the same class, your friend group interacted with his friend group quite a lot. Seeing his face brought back all those times at lunch when you would sneakily try to steal glances at him without your friends noticing. They noticed, of course, and teased you relentlessly about your crush but they were nonetheless supportive. They even proposed setting you two up on a date, because a ‘little birdie’ told them he had been crushing on you too.
Unfortunately, you were in such denial that someone as handsome as him had feelings for you, and rejected the offer. He was simply unobtainable, the extent of your relationship never surpassing polite greetings and friendly smiles until you both graduated and never saw each other again. Or at least, that’s what you assumed would happen.
It seemed fate gave you two another chance, unsatisfied with your prior silent pining and not acting upon anything. Considering you both matured immensely, talking came easy, and it wasn’t long before a much deeper connection began blossoming between the both of you.
His sister reacted indifferently when she walked out into the hallway one day, only to witness the both of you moving suspiciously away from each other, as if trying to conceal something. She caught on immediately, especially since her brother had been mentioning you quite often.
“Seriously? He’s the best you can do?” She scoffed, eyeing her brother disapprovingly before pushing between the both of you and walking off. You stared at her retreating figure in shock, oblivious to the smile on Eun-Yoo’s face as she disappeared down the stairs.
Once his sister found out, Eun-Hyuk became increasingly more open in terms of your relationship. And eventually, after a long week of his sister degrading him for not moving to the next step, he asked you to be his girlfriend. It wasn’t the most romantic of set-up’s; he had knocked on your door and asked you so casually that you wondered if he was joking.
When he assured you he wasn’t, you almost knocked him off his feet from the abrupt hug you gave him, accepting his simple proposal.
The memory faded, and the realization hit you like a truck. Eun-Hyuk was waiting for you, and you couldn’t give up on him. Taking a deep breath, you got up from the ground, trying not to focus on the screams and sounds of destruction in the distance as you lightly jogged towards the entrance of the alleyway. You peered behind the wall and looked both ways. The coast was clear; it was now or never.
                                                           ―――
You raced around the corner, narrowly dodging the attention of a nearby monster as its head popped up from one of the many dumpsters lining the brick wall of Green Roof Apartments, the location you had been trying to reach from when this all started.
The sound of metal creaking, which you quickly recognized to be the shutters descending, urged your aching legs to run faster as the darkness before you faded the closer you got to the entrance. That’s when you noticed Eun-Hyuk struggling to keep the shutters open as a distraught woman crawled towards him. He reached out a hand towards her, just as he looked up and made eye contact with you. His eyes widened at the sight, although bloodied and bruised, you were very much alive. You smiled at him, relieved, feeling safe already.
That was until you heard a rustling coming from your right, along with animalistic groans, as if something was just stirring back to life after being immobilized and ready to lash out again. A flurry of panicked voices came from the lobby of the apartment, everyone watching in horror as the hunched-over silhouette of the monster with a snake-like tongue began recovering to its full height.
Luckily for you, the monster disregarded your presence as it ambled towards the entrance. You stood frozen in fear as the shadow of its body passed over you, the sound of its languid steps lulling you into a trance as your body trembled lightly.
It was perceptible that trying to run past it would end in your demise, leaving you stuck on what to do. Your pleading eyes drifted towards Eun-Hyuk, hoping he would come up with a plan to distract the monster long enough so you could make a break for the gap underneath the shutters he had been holding open - a perfect enough size for you to slide under.
He stared you dead in the eyes as he dropped the shutters; the metal clanging loudly against the tiled floor. You blanched, staring back at him in disbelief. A semblance of guilt took over his features, and you shook your head in denial.
Your eyes stung with tears, and you wondered whether to cry and beg for him to help you or keep the remaining bit of dignity you had left. The monster suddenly shot its tongue within the gaps of the barred metal and Eun-Hyuk disappeared from sight as he dodged; the trance you were in instantly dissipating as you came to terms with the situation.
He left you to fend for yourself, surrounded by a horde of monsters. You weren’t sure whether to give up or keep going, considering nothing seemed worth fighting for at the moment.
Did he regret it? Of course. Would he do it again? Without question. Eun-Hyuk would sacrifice anyone to keep his sister safe, even you, and even himself.

SHADOW V SHADOW - reader x Azriel PROMPT -  I have a request. Can you make one where azriel's partner is kidnapped and tortured by people from the court of nightmares? then he gets desperate, but finally manages to find her, he arrives pissed off at the place and at the end of everything is right please?.
Rhys knew Azriel would never forgive him if he denied this request. His brother was practically vibrating with rage when he returned from Rask. His search for you took him to any whisper of  a lead he could find. Without another option, he requested - more of a demand but Rhys could see why- to pay Kier a visit.  Rhys gave Kier the courtesy of a day of preparation.  Azriel dressed in his darkest armor, and didn't hide the way his siphons glowed bright in the throne room. Rhys quieted the gathering with a hand, and Az let his shadows do the work. He scanned the crowd for anyone who looked to be nervous. Well, more nervous than usual in the presence of their high lord.  "I think you all know that we have been busy of late." Rhys drawled. He scanned the crowd as well, his mind flicking from one person to the next. "Back left, take him and leave. There may be more that notice you." Azriel walked off the platform, and turned to mist. + The first male to meet his end was the one who spat in his face and promised him that you were already dead. The next was smarter. He saw what was done to his friend and begged Azriel for mercy. "Your mate is locked far below." He quivered in his seat where Azriel had tied him. "But he watches her. He watched over us all."  "Who?" Azriel ground out, the tip of his dagger carving a crescent into the high cheekbone of the noble Fae. "Riker, he's below. He's far below, where Kier's magic does not touch."  "You've been useful." Azriel nodded, then jutted his dagger into the male's stomach. His hands did not shake. He wiped them on the male's tunic and left the body where it was tied. He had more digging to do, apparently.  And Kier was the first person he would ask. + "Who's Riker?" Rhys asked casually, holding Kier's mind in the now empty throne room. Kier's body twitched in defiance of Rhy's control.  "I dont-" Kier gasped. Azriel stepped closer to the male, menacing. The shadows crept up Kier's legs. Azriel did not flinch when Rhys' power squeezed the breath from him. "Dont be shy. Tell us all about it." Rhys coaxed. Finally, Kier gave the slightest nod. And Rhys let him drop to the floor, gasping for air. Azriel kept his shadows around the male, just in case. "Riker was a story. A legend from when I was a child. No one has heard of him since the Final Battle of the Prison." He gasped, and sputtered on the floor. When he looked up, his eyes were bloodshot. They still narrowed at Rhysand.  "What were the legends of?" Azriel demanded, ready to let his tendrils of darkness assert themselves over the male. Kier managed a laugh, then looked to both of them quizzically. "You're serious." He sighed, and wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth. Rhys was not amused. His claws danced along the edge of his consciousness. "He was a horror to all. Not a Fae.. not really. He possessed the bodies of fae to do his bidding. Like a poison, he takes control and forces you to do as he wishes. If its killing, or stealing, or fucking. Anything. You have no control."  Azriel's stomach dropped to the floor.  He and his brother glanced at each other, and Rhys nodded a curt dismissal to Kier. "Dont look for him. He will use your magic to destroy anything." He warned, giving Rhys a long look before limping from the throne room. + "The shadow will bring freedom to us. We will leave this hole and be free." The priestess said, as if reading from a book. See recited the words like they were Holy. You cringed in disgust. It wasnt the first time you'd heard one of the eyeless creatures say it, but it was one of the scariest encounters since you'd been taken. The dead eyes of the withering priestess were haunting. Perhaps taken was the wrong word. You seemed to just wake up and decide to start walking. Your mind screamed against what you were doing, but you couldn't stop. Your bare feet led you from your bed and Azriel, down the ten thousand steps, and through rocky terrain of the mountainside. You walked and walked, feet bleeding until you came to the small rock crevice in the side of the mountain.  You fought yourself, your mind panicked. Your body squeezed between the crack though, and you tried to reach down your bond to Azriel again. A dark shadow that was not him clamped down on your mind. Your panicked thoughts dissipated, and you couldn't remember why you were fighting anymore. You walked expertly down the worn path through the rocks, as if you'd walked it a million times before. The dripping walls let in a minimal cold whisk of air. And without thinking, you walked yourself into a cell at the end of the long hall. And sat in the center of it.  The priestess that locked the door behind you was withering. Her cheekbones sunk in, and the opal atop her head was gray, dull. "Welcome." She said, voice otherworldly.  + Azriel circled the mountain at least fifty times before he landed. Cassian was waiting for him at the small entrance they had found. "All clear, let's go." Azriel placed a hand on the pale rock and ducked his head inside. Cassian grabbed his wrist. "We need to be careful. Rhys cant help us once we go in there." He gave his brother a stern look. Azriel brushed off the concern, but nodded.  The path was well worn into the stone. And there was where Azriel picked up the first hint of your presence since you had been taken. His heart painfully kicked up speed. The blood on the floor was minimal, but it was there. Cassian noted it too, and set a pace too slow going forward. Azriel wished he could let his muscles be free to run straight down the long hall and find you. He listened to his brother though, trusting him more than his instincts. The sight of you was the biggest relief he'd ever had. Then, the biggest fear. Your eyes were dull, hollow. He tried reaching for your bond, but it was gray and limp. Like there was nothing at the other end of it. He called for you, then he was screaming down the tendril that once was light and happiness.  And nothing called back. Cassian's breath caught in his throat, Azriel turned to his brother. Shock was there in his eyes, and gut wrenching terror.
A dark spindling shadow was curling around him, seeping the hazel from his eyes and replacing it with the same dull gray that stained yours. He was frozen. As hard as he tried, Cassian couldn't fight the tinging fog that possessed him. It crept into his mind "Hello, lord of bloodshed...." They whispered to him.
Azriel threw himself at his brother, knocking the shadows away with his siphons. His own dark mist fought the fog that slowly filled the room. The fight was intense between them, Az's darkness was losing. They sputtered to life and kept them at bay while Cassian recovered from the shadowsinger's blow. "Go. Take my mate and run." Azriel growled at him.  Cassian's eyes went wide, and he glanced to the cell where you sat. He and Azriel went into action at the same time, Azriel striking the dark figure that seeped down from the ceiling. Human in shape, but it revelaed nothing beyond that. It was a ghost, a large demon waiting to strike. It hovered over the Illyrians, and they began a fight against a shadow itself.
It was a trap. Idiot. His mind screamed at him. Cassian blasted his shield out, knocking your cell door out of the way. You didn't move. Az's stomach flipped, his eyes piercing you. But you did not feel it. You didn't feel a damned thing, even as your mind thrashed against the control the demon had. "Shadows will free you...." The dark tendrils whispered into your mind. Then, the room went totally dark. Ravik's power coursed through the ancient stone walls. Cassian barreled into the fight with his brother, shoving the dark figure back. The black clouds swirled around their fighting forms. It grew and grew until Az couldn't see his own siphons anymore.
He gave a final scream down your bond, latching on to that link and pulling. Then he saw the fog there. The layer that overtook your thoughts. "Spread this sickness. Spread the knowledge. Love the Master." They chanted. It made his stomach coil. He went deeper into your mind and pushed, pushed out and kept that shadow away long enough for you to do the rest yourself. You shoved and fought and kicked it away. Your mind was exhausted, but you held onto Az's cool grip like it was a tether to reality. Then, you saw everything clearly again.  The darkness that encapsulated the two Illyrians avoided you. Like a bubble, they spared you from the blindness that kept Az and Cas from killing their target. You saw the golden sword strapped to Az's back instead of Truth Teller. And the reason they freed you instead of fighting first became clear. You took the sword from its sheath and shoved it into the figure between the brothers. Morrigan's sword sputtered light through the dark folds of the shadows. It hissed and popped, then.. it was gone. The shadows consumed it, then the golden light started seeping from every corner of the room. The light was blinding, then it was ringing. The piercing sound rattled the floor, then the walls. The sound of rock cracking and reforming was loud only for a second. Az felt the blood running down his jaw from his ears. His shadows turned him into wind itself. He took you and Cassian with him, and led him winnowed out of the crumbling mountainside. His wings flared, keeping you from plummeting to the ground together on the exit. Cas was right beside him, used to the strange feeling of Azriel's form of winnowing.  The ground shook where you landed on the coast line. The morning light shone through the dust that erupted from the top and side of the mountain. The house of wind on the diagonal side remained intact. But the opposing side collapsed, rolling boulders and trees and dirt all the way down to the ocean. The waves could not stand against such a force. Cassian kept a shield up just in case. Cries of terror sounded from Velaris. Az fell to his knees in the wet sand, and hid his face in his palms.  "Az... It's okay." You breathed, falling to his side with him. "Where's-" "He's gone. I can feel it. You killed him." You said with a hysterical laugh. The memories of being locked in the cell seemed dim now. Azriel stared at the trees and dirt falling, revealing the inside of the mountain that bordered Velaris. He tugged on the bond and you smiled, pulling him close to you. He rested his head on your shoulder as you observed the destruction together.  "I'll check for any injured..." Cassian took off, flying high above the ruins once they settled. Winged pets of the Hewn city began flying out of the mountain. Rhys was landing beside you and Az in an instant. "This is coming out of your paychecks." He said with a smile. Az couldn't spare one back. The terror of what he had released into Prythian dampened the mood. "We killed it. We did this." You spoke softly to him. Trying to ease the guilt he felt. He brushed you off. "As if you had a choice. It was a trap for Cass and I. One that I fell into so easily that-" You shook him through the bond, jarring him out of his despair. "Dont be so self centered." You thought, the tingle of a wink flowing through you. His feelings were a mask to you. "Dont do that." You were getting more and more frustrated with him by the second.  You caught him by the hand and wrapped around him in the sand, not caring if you got dirty. The ocean behind you roared and crashed, fighting against the new land that had spilled into it. "He already owes Mor another sword, take it easy on him." Cassian joked with the high lord. He landed with a softness that left the sand dry where his wings swooped down. The sheer power of him was waiting for its turn to be let loose. You could tell by those siphons flaring repeatedly.  Az's were dull. You clamped down on your frustration. Cassian began his report. "Some of the.. darker monsters wont live. But the smarter ones are already tunneling down. The court of Nightmares seems to be waiting it out." He spoke with expertise, staring as the dust settled on the mountainside.  The four of you stared at the ruined hillside for a long while. There were no injuries. No deaths. the cave in was so far from the borders of the Hewn city that the worst damage done was a few broken sculptures inside the throne room. The dust finally settled and you still watched, even as night fell. Rhys left to deal with the repercussions of the madness, but Azriel stayed wrapped around you, peeking at the ruin every now and then. He tried to hold back the waves of fear and shame that threatened to overtake him. You felt them there, and didn't push him. Cassian's breath caught. Then, a few brave souls ventured out of the tunnel systems that had been exposed. You watched tensely, observing how the group behind them reacted. They marveled at the twilight sun setting over the ocean. Rhys flew high above them, circling. Ready to destroy if they threatened the city. After a few moments of staring at the ocean and outside world, they turned back inside.  The high lord landed besides you again, his power blooming from him. Waiting to be released. Rhys sighed, and folded his wings in. "The court of nightmares just may be the new twin city of Velaris."

[More] Obey Me Headcanons
[ I didn’t edit this at all, really, but I have around 30 headcanons so far that I’m using for my fic and would like several backups- so, I’m posting it here.)
The ‘Devildom’ is a planet that is larger than ours. ‘Hell’ refers to a part of each territory the Avatar’s govern that is reserved for retaining and torturing human souls. These areas are actually quite small compared to the rest of the land. Each environment is unique, with its own native flora, fauna, land formations, climates, and dangers.
The Devildom resides on a tall, mountain-ringed plateau that towers over the lands around it. It is not the tallest point in the demon world.
Demons have elemental affinities that also define certain weaknesses. A demon that’s used to the heat and gasses of flowing magma would have difficulties in the colder parts of the world, or fighting against a demon or creature who uses a lot of freezing attacks.
There are many places in their realm that even Demons refrain from going, or simply cannot. One such area is a vast frozen land in the far northeast that drops to temperatures low enough that even demons that are developed for icy area’s cannot survive without magical assistance. However, this also makes the area a great place for criminals and the exiled to live should they be able to fight the cold. Demons and such that failed to pass the test of the cold are frequently found encased in the tall, pointed ice spires that jut from the ground- trapped in an unending preservation until the end of days.
There’s a massive crater in one part of the world, in the land Mammon governs, that’s referred to as the ‘Fear Pit’. It’s the aftermath of a massive battle between two demons, and the entire area is cursed with illusions that prey on your fears. It gets worse the closer you are to the bottom. Demons occasionally travel to test their own resolve, though few ever make it to the center- usually opting to turn back before their fear drives them mad.
Beelzebub dislikes thunder because it sounds similar to some sounds he heard in the war
Demon’s are immortal only in that time cannot destroy them, They can still die from wounds and even disease.
Not all demons can speak human languages. There’s plenty in the Devildom/Hell who’ve never set foot in the human realm and have never bothered to learn the realms languages.
On that note, there are more than a few specific demonic dialects spoken in the devildom. The Avatars and most high nobility are required to be fluent in the most common 3 demonic languages.
Demons who came to the Devildom by falling from the Celestial Realm are not considered ‘true demons’, and many have challenged the Avatars solely because of their origins
Demons may have pacts with multiple humans. If a demon who has more than one pact is ordered to do something by multiple pact holders, the demon will obey whoever has the strongest bond with them OR the orders will cancel each other out.
Many species found in the Devildom/Hell and the Celestial Realm are not exclusive to one or the other- dragons and unicorns are found in both, for example, but with different traits and personalities. Dragons in the Devildom are ugly things that spit an acidic venom, while those in the Celestial Realm are sleek and able to shoot blasts of fire from their throats. Some creatures remain the same in each realm, but are referred to by different names. Many mythic creatures from every human culture can be found in both the Devildom and Celestial realm
Though their human forms look rather perfect, everyone who fought in the Celestial War bears a great number of physical scars, some of which affect their human guise as well
Belphegor's right eye is completely blind in all his forms. He tends to hide it in his human appearance because it’s sometimes seen as a weakness by other demons who might try to challenge him. He has the most trouble with demon’s attempting to fight him because he’s often seen as the weakest Avatar due to his sleeping habits and general outward appearance. This is, of course, a massive mistake.
Belphegor frequently wraps his tail around himself (like a hug) for comfort- particularly when he’s alone
Belphegor’s horseshoe was broken during a fight with a demon who wanted to challenge his title/status.
Demons don't usually bury their dead because many simply disappear upon death. How they disappear depends on their primary sin (Wrath erupts in a blast of fire)
Leviathan changes the order of the smiley pins on his clothes depending on his mood (green for happy/content, yellow for neutral, red for angry/upset)
Satan dislikes chocolate
Demons are practically infertile. Children born naturally (human standard) are extremely rare. As such, all demon children are cherished and protected by modern demonic societies as a whole, and intending to harm one is punished harshly.
Lucifer may have birthed Satan from rage, but a demon can create another being from any emotion so long as it’s powerful enough (love, envy, etc). This is much more common than the physical way of creating children. The offspring will generally exhibit whatever emotion spawned them and will behave accordingly to whoever the emotion was directed at. After their birth, they grow very fast until they appear 10-15 years old, and their growth slows immensely.
A specific ritual is required for a demon( or angel) and human to crossbreed with each other, as they are completely different species. It would be like trying to cross a dog with a giraffe. These births are always extremely dangerous for the human mother. There are a few exceptions to this, such as Incubi/Succubi but successful crossbreeding is still extremely rare.
The older a demon is, the more horrific their true forms are. Anyone who has existed before the Celestial War is referred to as an ‘Ancient/Old World’ demon. Those born after and those who fell are considered ‘New Age/Modern’ demons. There are a handful of creatures referred to as ‘Primordials’. These beings are neither demons nor angels, but are immensely powerful and are very secretive. Not much is known about any of them, and they rarely show themselves. They also rarely partake in the social/political conflicts of the three realms. They did not have a presence in the Celestial War.
These titles have no bearing on how civilised someone may be.
There are technically four realms known. The Celestial, Devildom, and Human realms are commonly spoken about but the fourth realm is known as ‘Oblivion’ and isn’t so much a world as it is multitudes of platforms floating throughout a nebula. It’s useless overall but is used as a prison and punishment for the worst of demonkind. Few have ever made it out, but those that have come back a blubbering, maddened shell of who they were. Diavolo and Barbatos both are capable of opening a portal to it.
All demons/Fallen have the capability to return to a monstrous form, but Ancient demons have a particularly difficult time making themselves look human again (some Ancient’s are incapable of returning at all). New Age demons are able to transform much more freely, but if the transformation is brought on by strong negative emotion (rage, fear, or a physical reaction such as pain), it takes much longer to change back
The final stage of demonic courtship involves seeing each other's truest self. This display is a form of trust in the highest regard, the goal being total acceptance of each other. It should never be taken lightly. Not every couple goes through this, but those that do form a deeply personal and permanent bond.
A demon in full form is rare outside battle, though some choose to remain in their appearance as a way of showing off.
Some demons (nobility and such) have several forms outside of their human/humanoid guises
Demons are compelled to chew on things. There are several businesses specializing in ‘demon chew toys’. Gnawing on these can release both stress and anxiety and also helps maintain healthy teeth.
Demons shed their horns, scales, teeth and fur, and will often use these shed materials in their own clothing, jewelry, and other such items. Shedding season differs for every demon- it happens to some every half year, year, couple years, or even centuries. Being given an item made from a demon’s shed is considered a personal gift
Demons can tell the basic emotional state of any human they have a pact with. Whether they react to it or care is another story.
Despite the common opinion that the Devildom doesn’t have a sun, the sky brightens every 3 human world days thanks to the passing of a dwarf star. However, it would be a mistake to believe that the demon world is devoid of light without it! There are plenty of natural light sources that provide the lands with a way to see (for those without night vision), such as glowing crystals and mushrooms, magma, etc.
The Devildom’s planet’s core burns hotter than ours, which counteracts how cold it would be otherwise (though it’s still quite chilly in many parts of the planet)
When Diavolo ordered that no human be harmed in the Devildom again, he also banned all media portraying humans as prey. These books, videos, and movies are now sold on the black markets and hoarded by those who disagree with Diavolo

Friend, if you are still open for request, can you please do Heliotrope with the Winter Soldier? 🥺 please thank you 💛💛💛
My dear 😭 I am so so sorry for how long this took! I just hope you can enjoy the fic. It’s a little bit spooky at the beginning, but WS is soft and so is our reader. And they get their happy-ever-after 💗
Thank you very much for this prompt also! 🌺🌺🌺
— PAIRING: soft!Winter Soldier x female!Reader — PROMPT: Heliotrope - walking in the sun, and losing each other — LINKS: Masterlist • love stones prompt list — WORDCOUNT: 2.1k
Tumblr media
They had been living in darkness for months, and the oppressive cold that battered against the walls with fierce winds all day, and hungry howls at night — not that one could tell night from day in the sunless vastness, except by the ticking of the clock.
Hydra had installed that arctic facility at the mouth of a crater, covered by ice over the ages to conceal its dubious treasure. It was clear to the Soldier that the treasure was not made up of precious things, but it was only when the crew finished digging all the way down that he understood why all the scientists were there...
It was difficult for him to tell who the shuttle belonged to. It might have been some advanced technology from America, but then how did it get so deep down, so quickly? Maybe it was an old German prototype from the war, but it didn't look like any he'd seen before. Or maybe Hydra was just recovering their old property from past attempts... It didn't matter, he was just there to guard the scientists while they did the work.
The other soldiers stationed with him stopped taking the job seriously after the first three months, but he kept watch, and paid attention, and didn't miss the odd slimes that seeped across the floor out of those metal shells, nor the odd crunch as the scientists cut into something that looked soft and milky, but held like bone. And the smells, the cold metallic smells like iron dipped in silver... It sometimes felt like home, but he knew better than to let that grip him. And he kept watch.
The one chemist that doubled as the chef didn't make particularly good meals, but they were hearty, and if he was being honest, he was eating better at this isolated station than he did at the Base — felt freer too, almost in charge of his destiny, if one didn't count the frozen wastes he'd have to survive if he ever wanted to run. But the Soldier couldn't imagine why he'd ever wish to run.
Especially when she was here.
Studying the files of all the scientists on the mission, her portrait stood out as particularly sad, morose, with a bit of a death glare toward the cameraman. But when he actually saw her, she seemed sweet like a spring day and even happy to be there. She looked up into his eyes as she walked into the protected area to study their find, blinking up from beneath a mess of furs and protective equipment, but there was a smile crinkling around her gaze. As the months drew on and everyone got more bored with staying there, and loose with themselves, they'd sometimes play some music in the lab, and the Soldier didn't know why he liked it so much or felt the need to dance with someone.
The military staff initially had their own mess hall, a small room with a kitchenette where they could eat together, but then one of the doctors needed it to test the effects of temperature changes on some of the samples, and the place was... contaminated every since. Now, they all ate together. The girl who'd caught his eye tended to eat with her own team, the Geologists, but he could feel her looking at him sometimes, he noticed her lingering when he was around even if she was about to leave, and a few times she even dared approach him — under the excuse of getting the jar of sugar that was on his other side rather than reaching for the one next to her, or leaning down to get some plate she didn't need from right by his knees. It wasn't until she tried to reach a glass above his head, beyond her grasp, that he gave in and acknowledged her.
"Thank you," she said as he handed her the cup — the first time she'd ever said anything to him. Her voice suited her, but beyond its soft tones the Soldier was struck by being thanked at all. When was the last time that happened? What did one say in response?
"You're welcome?"
And he seemed so unsure saying it that he made her giggle.
She was inevitable after that, not because she was trying to be found but because he allowed himself to be around her, to guard her door while she chipped at stones and studied them, to sit near her during lunch — not right beside her, the Soldier still had a lingering shyness about that, but at least on the table opposite, from which they could look at each other if they wanted.
The long night was almost over, four months into their stay at this forsaken place, and the pair had taken to something really dangerous: in the small barn attached to the base, where some dry supplies were kept along with canisters of fuel, they escaped together while everyone else slept. He had led her there first, asking timidly whether she'd...
"Want to see something new?"
"Always," the girl grinned.
And so they found themselves piled on top of one another like firewood, almost not feeling each other beneath the layers of fur that kept them warm, but just being in each other's presence was... something. It was quiet without being quiet, with another real soul there, thinking its own thoughts in harmony with you.
The Asset wouldn't allow himself to fall asleep, though he did close his eyes sometimes and let the girl relax against him, and doze off, and during those times he allowed his arm to come down from where it propped his head up and wrap itself around her, holding her still — as if she were in danger of falling off some imaginary bed.
Nobody ever seemed to wonder where they both disappeared to, nobody noticed, which was why he was all the more surprised to hear shouting on that day. The Soldier didn't move, just tightened his arm around his little partner more. But when a bloodcurdling cry echoed through the vastness, he shook her awake.
"Wha—"
"Get up. The base is under attack," he muttered, reaching for the rifle laid beside him.
"That's crazy, who would attack us all the way out here?"
He didn't want to tell her what he thought, but only made her hide out in the shed while he went out to scout the area. Turning his radio on, nothing came through. There were no helicopters around, no trucks, no marks in the snow that anyone had attacked — at least, not from the outside. On the horizon, just the rays of a reluctant dawn were shining.
There was silence for a while, and then another symphony of screams rang out, muffled by the walls and the desperate shots of whoever was left inside, glass and metal knocked over, broken, and silence once again. Stepping away slowly, then more hurriedly, the Soldier returned to where he'd left the girl and picked her up by the elbow.
"Come on, we're leaving."
"Leaving where?" she cried out, confused and even slightly angry. "What's going on?"
"We're under attack."
"But our research..."
The Soldier dragged her to where the trucks were parked, and after the first flush of confusion she went along quietly. He gave her the rifle to hold while he looked in the back, making sure they had enough supplies for whatever drive awaited them — gas was there, some blankets too, and more ammunition. It would have to do. And without sparing another moment, he got in beside her and drove off. Against the rumbling of the engine as it drifted on the ice, a shrill scream cut through the frozen air and reached them, not sounding human nor animal nor like anything in the world, except perhaps a demon. The girl didn't look back, she wouldn't dare, she just looked quietly at the Soldier as she slowly understood. They drove into the sunrise as its rays burned away everything behind, and the snowdrifts buried it.
They didn't stop until the sky was bright as a midday, many hours later.
"Are we slowing down?" the girl mumbled sleepily.
"We're nearing a town," he said, eyes on the GPS. "Need to check that the road is clear. And that we are, too."
She stretched the shivers from her bones, but deep down she trusted the Soldier to keep them safe.
Getting out in what-felt-like days, frozen stiff, muscles aching from the shot of fear that penetrated down to her bones, the girl got out and reached for the sky with all she had. The air felt freer and fresher than ever before, even though it still hurt her lungs when it reached to their very bottom, but she loved such a pain — it felt like life.
The Asset walked slowly to her, just watching silently and smiling a half-smile at the sight of her all ruffled and soft, and safe.
"What do you think happened to the base?"
"Guess it's a mess by now," he hummed, bringing one gloved hand to feel around her head, her shoulders, down her arms, but always gently.
"We woke that thing up, didn't we?"
"You're the smart one, you tell me."
Her lips pursed — she never liked it when he teased her, but she tried never to reproach him for it, loving this sign of his personality shining through. "Are we far enough away now?"
"I don't know," he sighed, finally looking back into her eyes. "Are we?"
"The sun would kill it."
"How do you know that?"
She didn't answer but wouldn't look away either, and her determined gaze was enough for him. She did know more than he did, she'd spent months studying whatever that was, and that was fine by him. So long as none of it had managed to sneak on board.
"Stay close to me."
They walked around the car together and he checked the back, the wheels, then climbed on top and checked there too. Through the clearness of the day, he could even see the edges of a road that must've lead to that town. The car seemed clean, but they were close enough to a rescue that he'd rather not take any risks, and so picking up just a few useful things and one backpack, they started walking.
The snow got less deep and crunched beneath their boots, the wind was gentler downhill and even moved through the tendrils loosened from their hoods, shaking off the frost. In the distance, one tree stood tall, thin and dark and barren but alive, and over all of them the sun kept shining.
"We're almost at the road," said the Soldier, spotting a black snaking line a few meters ahead. He turned his head when he didn't hear anything back, but there was only the glint of sunlight on the snow.
Amorphous fog covered the horizons, and hills and dales of white, and suddenly the light felt very hot and burned his body as he turned frantically around and called for her. With mad fear, he traced back their steps up the snowy hill, nearly swimming through it as he called for her, terrified of the unthinkable.
Then, as if from the sea, a lone hand reached up and waved at him. Within one breath, he'd reached her, sitting in the snow just a few feet away.
"I'm so tired..." she huffed, burrowing like a rabbit. "Can't we rest a while?"
"You didn't rest enough in the car? Get up," he grumbled, pulling her up to her feet. He regretted snapping as soon as he saw her sad little face, and sighed. "I'm sorry. I was worried."
"I'm sorry too, for being so weak..."
Before thinking, he pulled her in and kissed the snow off her mouth. "None of that," he smiled as their lips parted. "Come on, we're so close. I'll carry you a bit if you want."
The girl shook her head mutely, face already flushed from frost but now truly heated. To be cared for, and worried about, and searched like that, and kissed... It put the life right back into her.
He kept his word and carried her in his arms at one point, but they both walked in the town together. Nobody knew who they were or where they came from and some had a few murmured questions, but by the time Hydra sent an extraction team for them, it didn't matter — they were gone, lost in the wind like two rays of sunshine.

For thousands of years, the Song mansion had withstood the test of time. Nestled in the dead-center of a lush forest, the mansion had proved itself to have incognito techniques as only few ever found it. Lucky travelers and explorers would get to experience the towering and magnificent architecture of the home, the addicting fragrances of the flowers that seemed to never die, and the unnaturally clear pool of water that looked to be the drink of the gods. All of this was available for them to drink in, and yet they were still thirsty, for if the outside was as glorious as it was, surely the inside would prove similar.
No sooner did these travelers step foot on the marble staircase leading to the doorway did the hidden arrows built into the bird feeders release and rob them of life. Wild bears and decomposers alike took delight in the delicacy of human flesh lying quite literally at their front door. When the mess was cleaned by the hungry animals, the stage would again be set for another unsuspecting victim to be drawn in by the beauty of the mansion. Because while the mansion had the looks and was clearly adept at drawing people in, the mansion was not to be entered by anyone other than the owner. And he hadn't stepped inside in over a thousand years.
The travelers were correct in assuming that the inside of the mansion was beautiful. Much like how the outside of the mansion lured in curious travelers to the front porch only to be transported to the doorstep of the afterlife, the inside swarmed with even more beauty. But this beauty was not soft and warm like the outside. It was as sharp as a blade, and just as piercing as an animal's teeth gnawing on meat.
There were over fifty vampires in this mansion, each adorned with fangs and priceless clothing. The vampires had been living inside the Song mansion since the days where it was new, and they worked hard to conserve its attractive looks. Though their hearts didn't beat, they moved with the swiftness of the most nimble humans and worked endlessly for the hope that one day, Lord Song would return.
Every golden piece of pottery was glimmering at all times, and the floors were like mirrors because of how reflective they always were. Cleaning in this household was no issue because of the sheer amount of vampires that were in this mansion, but there was also never anyone to mess up any of their work. The pillows were always too fluffed and the fireplace too kindled, and this was like that because of the hope that Lord Song would return. The mansion had to look spotless and perfect, to tell him that even after a thousand years, his servants were still as servile to him as they had been before he had been taken from them so unexpectedly.
But unbeknownst to the vampires, the anniversary of one millennium had passed and the prison sentence for a man was finally lifted. Black and buckled boots made their way through the forest, a cloak of the same color billowing behind the wearer. The traveler inhaled sharply when he saw the immortal beauty of the mansion, and increased his speed to the front porch. As usual, the sharp arrows shot out from their hiding places to pierce the newcomer, but the newcomer knew of this trick. After all, he was the one that had installed it.
A pale hand shot out and caught the sharp arrow. His eyes swiveled to the left to glance at the point of the arrow that was only inches from his face, inspecting it. Then, with a swift flick of his wrist, the arrow was snapped in two.
Mingi Song had arrived home at last.
His knock at the door sent reverberations across the entire mansion, and every vampire snapped their heads to the direction of the sudden noise. There hadn't been a knock at the door in a thousand years.
A small child with a mop of black hair and eyes as big as tennis balls clung to his mother's dress and stared at the door. His small fangs dug into his teeth and he huddled in close to his mother in fear. "Did the arrows-" he whispered, but his mother cut him off.
"The arrows never miss."
She said this with a shake in her voice, and all of the vampires could hear it. All eyes, red, black, yellow ones, were glued to the door and this mysterious visitor that had somehow bypassed their impenetrable security.
Finally, a vampire woman with long and silky black hair stepped forward towards the door in a move of bravery. Her hand shook as she grabbed the cold handle of the brass doorknob. She turned around and looked at her vampiric brethren. When Lord Song had been taken to jail because of his war crimes, none were given an estimate of when he would return. Many thought he had died. The majority held it within themselves that he would return someday. This person at the door, whoever they were, was not just some traveller. They could have been another vampire from the Song family taking ownership over them, or an entirely different vampire that wanted to kill them all or take them for their own.
But none of them truly expected Lord Song to be at the doorstep.
The all-familiar sight of his crimson red eyes caused most of the children vampires to burst into bloody tears. Mothers and fathers gathered them in a hug to soothe them, but couldn't close their mouths while they gaped at their Lord Song.
Prison had hardened him, but in the same way that polish on metal made the hard material shine even brighter. Despite being immortal, he looked older, but he had a new glint to his sharp, red eyes that suggested that the recklessness of his youth had subsided. His hair had been a tangy orange upon his arrest, and now it was a dark and jet black that rested over his forehead. He was tall as ever with a commanding presence that was frightful to enemies and comforting to friends.
His crimson eyes glanced over all of the vampires in his walkway. Some had been on the second floor and were frozen over the banister at his sight.
"Lord Song," a vampire finally said. "You've returned."
Mingi held out his arms and enveloped a child running towards him, smiling as he spun her around and she giggled with glee. "You all seem well," he said, and many of the vampires began to fan themselves to stop tears from running.
He placed the child back into the ground and walked forward. His knee connected with a small and wooden table by the entrance to the foyer, and the potted plant that had been placed on it tipped and shattered onto the floor.
Mingi's eyes were wide with shock, but this only caused even more tears and happiness within the crowd of vampires.
"Lord Song, I'll clean it up!" a woman cried.
"I will! It's my pleasure!" Another sobbed.
A millennium of meaningless dusting, sweeping, and wiping for anticipation of Lord Song now had meaning. And for the vampires of Lord Song, cleaning was the least they could do to show their admiration and loyalty to him.
A child pushed away from his mother and, disregarding a dust pan and broom another vampire had ran in with, began picking up the glass pieces with his bare hands. Blood prickled on his palms before spilling out onto the floor as he cleaned.
Mingi, surprised only moments ago, was grinning at the child. "Why, thank you," he said softly, then stepped over the child like he was a toy in the way of his steps. His long and black cloak brushed over the child's head without concern. Some of the vampires had fallen to their knees. Others averted their gaze to hide the tears of happiness in their eyes.
"Lord Song," a man sobbed. "I've missed you. You've returned."
"Tell us of your troubles that you faced while you were gone so that we might soothe you," another suggested, wiping away their bloody red tears with a white cloth.
Mingi surveyed all of them with his eyes, his hands stuffed into the pockets of his pants. "I'd like that," he said after a minute. "You all have kept this home in perfect condition. Let us have a drink while I tell my tales." He smiled with a glimmer in his eyes. "There's much to say. A millennium, however short that is in our lifetime of forever, is still long."
The beautiful and enormous dining hall, which had been bare and dull for a millennium, was waking back up with Lord Song's presence. The vampires cracked open aged blood and ushered Mingi into the hall with the grace of a palace servant. One pulled out his seat for him, while another was unfastening his traveling cloak and black gloves. The rest ogled at him like he was a magnificent piece of art in a museum.
Fancy glasses that hadn't seen light in so long were shining by the light of the chandeliers and candles. The cool, crimson liquid in the glasses swirled around as the vampires amused Lord Song with stories and tales that had been thousands of years in the making. A little boy excitedly told Mingi about the new species of bacteria that had spread around the mansion in the course of six months over three hundred years ago, and his mother told the story of the wild pack of bears that had nearly ransacked the house, stopped only by the mansion's poisonous and lethal breed of ants that lived in the lawn. But it all ceased when the binder of suitors was brought to the table.
A vampire with a monocle and poster straighter than a board dumped a six inch binder in front of Mingi with no preamble. He adjusted his tie while Mingi raised his eyebrows, and the rest of the vampires grinned at him with their fangs expectantly.
"Much time has passed during your absence," the monocled vampire began, and Mingi recognized him as one of the sparse British vampires in the mansion because of his accent. "We had grown bored of boredom during your absence. Days and years passed us by with a wink. Isolation can make you do many things," he said, and tapped the binder with his pointer finger.
"This is a matchmaker binder," he began, and Mingi's eyes widened as the vampire flipped it open and he was greeted with tens of faces on each page. There must have been thousands of pages. "We weren't sure if you liked men or women, or both, so we have everyone," he said casually, and flipped from a grouping of women to a section of men.
"My God," Mingi breathed. "Pray tell, why-"
"She's pretty, isn't she?" The vampire asked and pointed to a woman in the binder with dark hair down to her shoulders.
"Yes," Mingi began, but the vampires were too excited to let him speak.
"I like this one," cut another one, pointing to a man with blonde hair and a large smile. "He's also a Lord. I would marry him if I wasn't so low class."
"This one looks like he could kiss me until the sun rises," a girl sighed and pointed to a man in the binder. "And then we'd evaporate together. That's love, isn't-"
"Enough," Mingi said abruptly, pushing away the binder from himself and silencing the vampires. "Enough," he repeated, rubbing his brow.
"What's the matter?" The original vampire that had given him the binder asked. A hundred pairs of eyes leaned in closer for his response.
"Why did you do this?" Mingi sighed, looking at all of his vampires with contempt. He lifted the glass of blood to his lips and took a long drink. A hundred pairs of eyes watched every last drop dribble into his mouth, and then he set down the glass. "This is childish."
At that, many of the vampires sunk into each other in embarrassment. The monocled vampire coughed. "You are a fine man," he said simply. "We thought it would be a good idea to get you interested in the vampires available so you may extend the Song family for millennia to come. Many vampires of your class in recent years have found that marriage is a wonderful experience to behold in life."
"And as soon as I got back from my imprisonment was your best time to tell me about this?" Mingi snapped and the monocled vampire bowed his head in shame. "I was hoping to share my stories, not engage in some mindless and useless talks about love."
The vampires hung their heads. "I'm sorry, Lord Song," the monocled vampire lamented, sliding the enormous binder off the table and securing it in his arms. "We won't bring it up again."
A little vampire, a girl that looked no more than eight years old, appeared next to Mingi. "Lord Song," she spoke in a voice that was small but had hundreds of hidden years behind it, "tell us your stories now."
The room hushed and chairs squeaked across the floor as the vampires leaned towards Mingi. A thousand years was not even a twentieth of a vampire's lifetime, but it was still long. Eager ears awaited to hear the experience that Mingi had gone through during his time in jail.
Mingi cleared his throat and surveyed them all once again. Jail had been terrible and boring. It was the price he had paid for the crimes he had committed as a younger and reckless vampire, but he couldn't say that he regretted doing any of it. Mingi had taken himself and all two hundred of his servants to town after town, mowing through houses and draining the residents of their blood. The screaming of the townspeople had only made their own blood curl, and blood with adrenaline tasted richer. Despite being a dead being, Mingi had never felt so alive in that moment. It had been a display of power, a display of the awesome and terrible Song family that had roamed for eons.
But no one else had found it funny, especially the supernatural council that had reigned at the time. Mingi's name protected him from the worst of punishments, but not even he could squirrel himself out of an extended period behind bars. His servants had been sent back to his home and had been locked in with no idea of when Mingi would return, and Mingi had rotted in a cell for a thousand years. It wasn't all bad, though - there were vampires like him, burning with the desire to escape but burdened all the same with exhaustion and the cage that surrounded them. Mingi had lots of time to reflect on his actions, and he had come to the conclusion that if he was to do such an event again, he'd have to be much more discreet about it.
But now he was home. Mingi described the bad conditions of the jail to his enraptured crowd, preached about the terrible clothing he had to have on his back and vocalized the terrible treatment that the jail had given him. With every word, the shock on the vampires' faces melted into anger and sadness.
"Lord Song," many of them sobbed, "we are so sorry you had to go through that."
"What's done is done," Mingi murmured. "Stop crying. It's over now. Rejoice that I'm back."
And amongst the sudden cheers that yes, Lord Song had returned, Mingi smiled. A sliver of fear had baked inside of him when he had been released. He had been concerned over the thought that his brigade of vampires had deserted him. After all, a thousand years inside of a house with nothing to do was not an enjoyable time. But his stupidly obsequious servants had stayed locked in the house all the same.
The arrows at the front of the mansion only hurt those coming towards the mansion. They could have left any time they wanted to. But Mingi relished in the idea that they knew fully well of the arrows that were awaiting if they ever decided to come crawling back. His servants were locked in, and Mingi now knew with confidence that the leash he had on them was tighter than a double-knotted knot.
He raised his empty glass and savored the multiple vampires that tripped over chairs and table legs to reach his glass and refill it. He had them wrapped around his finger.
The next week allowed Mingi to be acclimated back into his home. The couches he rested on gave him peace and restfulness that he had forgotten he could feel during his time on the rock-hard floors of the prisons. The constant vampires that were begging to wait on him was also a complete change from before. But while his servants entertained him and kept him company, Mingi longed to talk to someone on his own caliber. So the next day, Jongho was on his back doorstep.
Only friends knew that the back door was the correct door to enter if they liked to keep their brains inside their head, and even then Lord Choi was smart. "Mingi," Lord Choi exclaimed when he was brought to the dining hall by Mingi's servants and saw him at the table. "It's wonderful to see you once again."
Like all vampires, Lord Choi hadn't aged a day since Mingi had last seen him. The only noticeable difference in his features was his now slicked back dark hair that gave him a more mature look, a look he never would have attempted thousands of years ago. He still had muscle on his arms, if not more, and his black and large eyes that seemed to catch every visual in Mingi's mansion had grown softer, more tempered. Something had tethered him down, and Mingi was curious to find out what it was.
The two of them circled one another in a hug, patting each others' backs as they laughed at their reunion. "How long has it been?" Jongho laughed when they broke apart. "A thousand years?"
"A thousand years," Mingi repeated. "What have you gotten yourself into?" He asked as Mingi's servants led the two of them to their seats at Mingi's long dinner table and sat them down. He expected Jongho to launch into a terrible and exciting story about a murder spree - he was famous for those when Mingi had last known seen him.
But Mingi was wrong. Jongho was more than happy to talk about his disciplined and mild travels he had done around the world. While a glass of red liquid was poured out for him and Mingi, he talked about his travels around Europe, Asia, and most recently, North America.
"I was most impressed by the humans' ability to be clean," he said as he took a long drink of his blood. "A bit of a shame because blood was so much easier to obtain when humans threw the carcasses of each other outside of doorsteps when plague raged. And I quite enjoyed the phase of blood-letting. But now, at least there's no more human feces for me to step upon when I stroll through the neighborhoods in London. I call that a win."
"You'll have to tell me about that," Mingi said and raised his eyebrows. Vampires didn't need to use the bathroom or sleep, but Jongho was glad to explain the modern wonder of indoor plumbing.
"And I think Ireland was my favorite place to visit," Jongho continued. "I was there about two-hundred years ago. Met some interesting humans, I had a book written after me as well. You may know of the book."
"Quite highly of you to think that I was allowed to read in prison," Mingi said, not unkindly, and Jongho laughed.
"Just a little book about vampires. Written by Bram Stoker."
"Never heard of it," Mingi said, and Jongho once again shook his head.
"We need to go on a trip together at some point," Jongho smiled. "To get you accustomed to the new world. You would be surprised how much human innovation has happened in the millennia you missed."
Jongho went on to continuing his life story that Mingi had missed, and Mingi was amazed to listen. Prison had been hard. It had been boring and harrowing, but he had survived, in the end. But he couldn't help but feel a pinprick of jealousy as Jongho described his tales and freedom he had, even if his adventures weren't as violent as he would have guessed. Jongho, like Mingi, had taken his vampire servants many times through towns for blood feasts. But Jongho had perfected the art of subtlety and remaining underneath the radars of watchful vampire councils that made sure none of them stepped out of line. He had found a way to let his innate vampire desires tear through himself and never subject himself to the horrors and pain of prison.
Mingi listened, but his ears turned greener as Jongho continued on about his life.
It wasn't until Mingi's servants arrived with that too-familiar courting binder of vampires did Jongho stop talking. Mingi opened his mouth to shoo them off, but the book was placed in front of Jongho and the vampire that had placed it cleared her throat.
"We hope you don't mind, Lord Choi, but we've come up with a few potential suitors, both male and female, that you may be interested in," she said, giving a bright smile to Jongho. Jongho's mouth twitched and he burst into laughter.
"Lord Choi?" The vampire asked, gasping. "Is something wrong?" Mingi looked at his servant and Jongho, equally as confused as she was.
"No, nothing," he said, "it's just that I'm married already."
"You're what?" Mingi choked and the vampire flushed with what little blood she had left in her body.
"Married, like I said, you missed a lot," Jongho said and reached in his coat pocket for a piece of paper. He threw it on the table, and it was a photo of a bright and smiling woman with blonde hair. "This is Analise, my beloved of almost seven-hundred years."
"Seven-hundred years?" Mingi gaped. The female vampire that had given Jongho the binder was already dragging it away from him, her face hidden by her hair.
"Yes, and she's wonderful," Jongho said casually, shrugging. "It's simply the way of life. I'm sure you'll find someone."
Mingi made a mental note to go back to his own binder later. "I never thought you'd get married," he said, and Jongho smiled.
"And neither did I. But sometimes, you just meet someone," he sighed, then looked at Mingi. "I haven't felt the need to go out and ravage towns or humans now that I have her. She keeps me occupied and happy."
Mingi's question as to why Jongho seemed more calm was finally answered, but it was accompanied by bubbling discomfort. "She must be truly amazing," he said through his teeth.
"She is," Jongho sighed, and then went into stories about her. The stories warped back into tales about his travels around the world, and soon night had fallen across the sky. Jongho couldn't have left the mansion earlier because of the sun and he hadn't brought a cloak, but now the moon could aid him in walking back into town.
"Be sure to come with me to Australia," Jongho said and hugged Mingi before he left. "It'll be lots of fun." And then he smiled, and Mingi's heart broke at how soft he had become.
"Of course," he said, giving a painful smile. Jongho grinned and left the mansion through the back door.
Mingi was back with his thoughts. He watched Jongho walking away through a window and retreated to his study. He sat down at his desk to write something on a piece of paper with a quill. When he realized all of his ink had dried up over the course of a thousand years, he begrudgingly took his glass of blood from earlier and wrote one phrase onto the paper using it: never to be sanguine.
It was a phrase that he and the rest of the vampires at the prison had learned and repeated to each other. Because while sanguine meant blood-red, it also meant that a person was blindingly optimistic and cheerful. And Mingi ached to never, ever, become like that. To be optimistic, to be sweet and kind and cheery, was to ignore the inhumanity of being a vampire. It was to align with humans more than vampires, their own kind. He had lost Jongho to the sanguine nature.
"Not like Jongho," he said, his hand shaking as he finished the end of the word sanguine. "Never like him." Because if prison had taught him anything, it was to be patient, it was to be quiet.
It was to be unassuming. Mingi rushed to his vampires. He must have seemed shocked, because the vampires nearly fell to the floor into a bow. "I need that matchmaker binder," he said. "My binder. The one you tried to give me a few days ago."
"But Lord Song," the vampire said, quivering, "you didn't even want-"
"I want it now," Mingi growled and the vampire shook. He left and came back a minute later with the book in his hands. Mingi yanked it from his arms and stormed back into his study.
Analise had made Jongho soft. The vampire council must have seen this, they must have known this. He flipped through the book until he found a page of attractive people.
A partner was exactly how Mingi could keep going with evil misdeeds and remain under the radar of the council that could reprimand him. The council must have had the impression that a partner would tame him, just like Analise had done with Jongho. And even if his partner ended up hating him for who he was and the actions he did, he could pay them a handsome sum to keep quiet. It was the perfect disguise.
"Marriage," Mingi murmured, and looked at his bare ring finger. A ring would allow his greatest diabolical plans that he had thought of in prison to come to life. He stood up and walked out of his study with the proposal of proposing in his mind. "The secret to staying hidden is to hide in plain sight."

Strange it was, to stand amongst his favoured element and yet to feel a disconnection. Faint, as it was, he knew these snowflakes didn't shimmer and glisten for his arrival nor for his presence alone. Conflict in the elements was normal for opposing sides, summer and spring didn't bow as quickly to his form but autumn and winter danced in joy… To think that he'd witness this upon stepping through fresh snow, to feel the battle of two wills of frozen landscapes and seas tamed in an icy embrace… Yukioki stared with wonder. Curiosity was always something so small in his chest, barely a flicker when things he knew and wished to know were also so easily removed with his icy touch or even, the wandering for his curiosity shimmered away into smoke whenever he got half-way there.
Staring with some interest through winter lashes, his gaze rose from the depths of the iced seas to the snowy hills - nearing with soft strides that held no noise nor pressure almost until he pressed his foot to sturdy bank. Raising from the iced surface to the beings of man, dressed warm yet working hard as they too stopped in his presence. Though he did not see them stop in joyous belief but wariness almost close to fear.
Fascinating…
Tumblr media
Though he stayed not, moving with ease with the cold winds to step through winding buildings and to the streets. Carrying the whispers and eyes of those that knew of his differences here, though - they could not deny it either, the way the ice and snow bowed to him all the same as another that this country bowed to another..
He stepped onward, glancing through yellowed windows and down pathways - taking in the sights of the unknown and thriving in extreme colds. Fur was thick upon shoulders and hoods, others had multiple layers of thin materials - some forgo it all and instead hold themselves thick with muscle. Fires burned, lights dim but wholesome, meals in the air scented the ice with fish and meats of heavy nutrition.
His venture took him to a building soon enough, encased in ice and protected with violent icicles that he knew where sharp to the touch no matter how blunt they froze. He stared with a feeling of lost, understanding somewhat the sight of a grave but respectable enough to not treat more - even if his curiosity wished to be itched within its walls. Instead, with politeness in his blood - the creature from beyond the sea - lowered his head in turn. Palms moving from the depths of layered sleeves to press together in a fashion of prayer.
This is where he stayed - the fountain large and beautiful, but he saw something more. In its centre, a being of royalty and strength. Regal and bewitching... Though of stone, hidden in snow and ice, he believed he found what he felt to be another form of this snow and ice landscape. Yukioki - in his silence - smiled only fleetingly before settling himself upon the edge of the fountains stone. Hands resting upon his lap as hair curtains and follows the breeze - his breath barely a wisp of smoke but a softened breeze of true chill...
Tumblr media
Snowflakes glisten, crystals form and they take the shape of birds. Fluttering specks of the element that dart away with trails of ice in their wake towards the clouds. A simple wonder to if this beauty of ice and snow would join him for conversation. If not, he'll remain for several more minutes to think of a new destination to travel for.
