Ren's voice gets softer and or scruffier when he sings and has a lot of variety. His range is a good middle ground, he can go decently high and decently low, and has the ability to crack or shake his voice on command which makes a lot of his pieces very emotional. In his preferred style of music I'd say imagine Green Day, an energetic, messy kind of energy- but he can also whip out an all-natural Bobby Darin type energy. I'd say he's got loose but comfortable control of his voice ~

Wholeheartedly believe the most sadistic character in the series is Celia due to a singular ending.

She gives you just enough to stay alive and intends every bit of it. None of it can be misunderstood like with Lawrence, none of it is ending in death and pleasure like with Strade, none of it will become an eventual loving, desirable dynamic like with Ren, you wouldn’t be adorned in riches like with Derek, you wouldn’t be snuffed out quick like with Mason, you are kept as your worst you because Celia knows she can do that to you. She knows she can turn you into some thing that yearns for only her. Deprives you of literally everything else so that she is all you know. Removes your tongue and snips your ankles when she really didn’t have to, as you were caged and were already at her mercy without such restrictions. She knows full-well of her actions and what she’s putting you through.

I’ve said it before with friends, but Strade VS Celia in terms of evil I think Celia wins. Strade loves the process. He loves the experience and doesn’t care much what happens to you after. He’s so impulsive and gluttonous for gore and sex that the torment usually lasts a few hours at LONGEST, and you usually die by the end.

Celia works towards the goal. The process is fun but not as important as the result, and that’s what makes her scarier. She thinks of your long term commitment to her and how she would like you best and puts steps in motion to achieving that goal. You will not speak, you will not move, you will not fight- simply freeze and starve and cry and wait for her to come and save you again, and again, and again. And it’s not like she hates you! A brainless, sensitive dog is just her favorite version of you, and that’s what you’ll be for her 💙

I think I idealize Mason’s route so much because he has no specific idea of a good hunt and doesn’t blame you for getting caught super early on. He even thanks you if you survive for a considerable amount of time before being caught. He’s just satisfied with your presence and knowing you’re there, he doesn’t expect or even ask anything of you. No nagging, no expectations, no wishing you were more, no pressure. The only one I have to worry about out there is me. If I fuck up, it’s on me, and no one else receives consequences or even has to see it happen. If I get caught, I am enough. If I lose my way, I get to enjoy the sound of wildlife, or perhaps the deafening silence signaling the end of the road. But either which way, Mason’s route is just about me handling myself to the challenge and expectation of no one, and I am automatically enough in the eyes of the one person who matters just by being me and existing, and I really like that.
