Di Feisheng surfaces back to his own body still gasping, spent and sprawled across the twisted sheets, and feels, rather than sees, Fang Duobing's self-satisfied smirk into his thigh.
"Did that feel good?" Fang Duobing sounds far too earnest, the brat, as though he didn't learn to put his mouth to another's body only a few months ago and make Di Feisheng's life all the more difficult for it. He stares up at the rough-hewn ceiling boards in the dark, and sighs. The boy's a detective; he can draw conclusions himself. Evidence is still on his tongue.
Di Feisheng hears a laugh huffed against his skin, and then the subtle press of lips to his hip, gentle and blink-quick. Fang Duobing pushes himself upright, crawling over Di Feisheng before making to lay down beside him, shoving their shed robes from earlier off the bed. There's still sweat on them both, slick at every warm point of contact, but it'll cool soon enough. The half-moon of winter shining its light through Lianhualou's window promises that.
Fang Duobing's head lands at his chest with a deep exhale, one arm reaching across his torso, and Di Feisheng freezes.
There's no hiding the flinch of tension when they're pressed skin to bare skin; Fang Duobing notices immediately, raising his head to look at him, eyes wide and darker than the night around them. "Lao-Di? Is something wrong?"
And this, this is where Di Feisheng has had to figure out how and when to use words, with someone other than the likes of Li Xiangyi. Fang Duobing cannot yet read all of him like instinct, rendering language secondary. Bridging the spaces between them requires effort.
Yet it's effort Di Feisheng is willing to make. Wants, to make. "No," he says, and relaxes when Fang Duobing visibly does. "Just—" and for all his voice halts, he manages to speak, "stay here like this." Please.
"Okay." Fang Duobing smiles, so easily, so unfairly easily, and doesn't need to be pled twice. When he settles himself back into Di Feisheng's side, it's like he's belonged there for years, not like they haven't done this before.
Sharing a bed is one thing. Falling into each other's heat out of sleeplessness, then for company, is another, and no longer anything new. This, though, while they're still bare and for no apparent purpose other than the sake of it, is... unexpected.
What is Di Feisheng supposed to do? He finds himself reaching for Fang Duobing all at once, cautiously, watches his own arm slowly curl around him in return. Fang Duobing squirms minutely in his grasp, then stills once more, shifting himself even further onto Di Feisheng.
There is no further response, only silence, interrupted by breath rising and falling in waves. Compared to mere moments ago, however, the empty pause now seems less intimidating.
Fang Duobing's hair spills across them both, thrown there by his motions before. Di Feisheng moves to fidget with the ends of it, tugging lightly as it sifts through his fingers. It gets him some kind of content sigh, half-muffled against Di Feisheng's pectoral. Softer, a softer noise than when he'd yanked at it earlier, Fang Duobing between his legs.
He finds that he likes it.
Likes this.
Di Feisheng keeps himself there, unmoving. Fang Duobing's warmth is its own blanket; he wards off the cold of the house, the two of them entwined. Until Di Feisheng thinks, for perhaps just a minute, he's comfortable enough for his eyes to close.
When he opens them, Fang Duobing's breathing has already evened out. He's asleep. The sight of him is enough to convince Di Feisheng to let his own eyes drift shut once more.
There's a first time for everything, he supposes.

okay because people have shown up in my dms talking smack I'm going to make one blanket statement on the 1000 year loli chilchuck thing.
yes, there has been a problem with young girls being put in suggestive positions in anime with the "uhmmm she's actually a bajillion years old" excuse. yes, other characters don't treat chilchuck like an adult. yes, he is short with big eyes.
However, chilchuck consistently acts like a grown man. he- in both the manga and the anime- straight up just is an adult. He looks like an adult when he is any other race during the swaps in the manga. When the other characters get turned into half-foots they look similar to chilchuck. He is explicitly stated to have more dungeon and general life experience than laios, and he acts like it.
The 1000 year loli trope explicitly functions as an excuse to prey on people who are inexperienced and unable to advocate for themselves. Chilchuck is a parent, is a union organizer, has explicit boundaries that he enforces rigidly, and he is treated as an adult man by everyone who doesn't have a fantasy racism-focused character arc/issue.
I can see how if you haven't read the manga and seen that he has an established life that he later reveals (and haven't paid attention to him in the anime lol) you could get a mistaken impression about him. Marcielle does too in the source material! It's part of her character at the start of her arc that she has issues with longevity!
The thing that irks me a little about this interpretation is that it leans into the child-coded discourse that was prominent a while ago (she's short!!!!! but has boob???? ILLEGAL!!1!) and it does a disservice to the themes of infantilization as a policy maneuver hurting the working class.
I saw chilchuck and his labor advocacy for half-foots both as a metaphor for racism (obvious take ik) and for ageism.
The working gen z as a cohort are being infantilized and pushed out of job markets due to infantilization, similar to half-foots in the show. gen z is being maliciously portrayed as too young to vote, enter office, know themselves, know their rights, and take advantage of their resources. Simultaneously, child labor protections and protections against workplace abuse are being rolled back in the US. In Japan, young people are being worked to the bone for nothing and are becoming disenfranchised as a generation while simultaneously expected to be the labor faction that supports the postwar generations in their old age.
Chilchuck's being treated poorly I saw as a clever commentary on the ways infantilization allows for protections to be stripped away under the guise that "oh it's just a job for teenagers- they don't need more than minimum wage" or "let the kids rescue the economy! they're always complaining about that job market!" while simultaneously stripping away rights under the guise of protection- "We can't have that on the internet! think of the children!" "to protect these young people we must raise the age of medical consent for hormones/reproductive health decisions!"
Kui's work with this series spoke to me on many levels, and specifically, the infantilization issue touched me in a way that few other pieces of media have. The struggle to be taken seriously in a stem field as someone young, as someone female, and as someone who had a high-pitched voice to the point I did years of voice training to be taken seriously, chilchuck's character resonated. I (kinda) understand your instinct to think "SHORT! CHILD! RALLY THE MASSES AND KILL THE PEDOS!!1!" but in this case, it's misdirected- mostly because the author was trying to use this misdirection to prove something to you, the reader.
Kui consistently makes cutting commentary on modern issues, the show's take on food neutrality as its headliner, but also the author's takes on cultural issues and the environment (with a focus on our place in the food web as animals). I feel that reducing chilchuck's very conscious position as a tradesman and an activist discounted due to his apparent age down to "1000 year loli ewwww let's send this random tumblr user suicide bait" just displays a lack of critical analysis of the show and a level of disrespect towards Kui and the work as a whole.
TL:DR- stop sending me kys messages I'm fucking that old man

I haven't read much 616 comics-wise (I have read lots of fan fiction tho 👀) BUT I do write a lot of omegaverse so tell me if this is anything:
Tony isn't ashamed of being an omega, really. Life would be easier, certainly, if he was an alpha or even a beta. But he's done well for himself despite a lot of alphas in business thinking he's cute. He's pretty proud of the respect he's earned, even if he is a little bitter that that respect is just expected for alphas.
So he has no idea why, in the Iron Man armor, he tells Steve he's an alpha. (He knows a little. He's afraid of being kicked off the team for a multitude of reasons, not just being an omega. Being Tony Stark would be reason enough. Tony Stark isn't a hero, after all.) The armor is well-insulated, not just to protect him from hits, but to smother any scent that might tip someone off. He could have just left it vague.
It's fine, he figures. Steve likes have a fellow alpha to spend time with. He knows that Steve doesn't actually mind hanging out with others, but he's expressed that he's nervous around 'the more delicate sexes,' especially with the serum increasing his strength. So. He likes that he can put Steve at ease like that. He likes to be helpful. Besides, with the suit, he's basically at alpha strength anyway! It's not really a lie. In the suit, he's more physically alpha.
Anyway something something villains.
Steve is dosed with something that sends him into a rage, and the only person there for him to take it out on is Iron Man, who is locked in the room with him. (This is not a coincidence, I imagine villains want Steve to 1) suffer the guilt of killing his best friend and 2) thereby be easier to control, in theory.)
He's tearing the armor apart, and quite frankly, Tony's terrified with the anger naked on Steve's face. Steve is normally a very private person, even when it comes to his emotion, and he's never seen him even angry. Annoyed, sure, maybe, but even then, it had been good-natured. This is something else entirely, ugly and vindictive. He knows, logically, that this isn't Steve, not really. But Steve's torn one of the gauntlets off, nearly broke Tony's arm in the process, so he's got to figure something out before Steve really does kill him.
Perhaps foolishly, he reaches up to take the helmet off, fumbling with the catches as he lunges out of Steve's way. He doesn't make it far enough--Steve grabs one of his boots and yanks him back, lifts a fist so he can bring it down on the catches at the knee. Steve will break his leg if he finishes the move, Tony realizes, finally getting the catches open and shoving the helmet up, off. He can't help the gasp that he sucks in as the cool air hits his face, the scent of Steve's rage rolling across his tongue bitter and acrid.
"Steveit'sme," he says, and this isn't how he wanted to tell Steve, never how he wanted to tell him, but he knows, deep in his bones, that if Steve kills him without knowing who he's killing, it'll just hurt him even more. If he dies now, hopefully Steve will be angry at the villains for making him do it, making him hurt someone who can't even hope to hold a candle to his alpha strength, let alone his serum. Maybe Steve will focus on revenge instead of guilt.
Steve freezes, sort of, knuckles hitting the armor and then stopping abruptly. Tony feels a twinge, but he's relieved that it's only that. His knee will be fine. So long as Steve doesn't decide to kill him for lying, he thinks, biting his bottom lip between his teeth to keep from apologizing. He's not sorry he hid his identity. Maybe he shouldn't have lied about his orientation, but Steve had showed Jan cautious behavior that she'd had to scare out of him. Now Steve knows that Iron Man isn't just an omega, he's Tony Stark and the friendly but distant team benefactor. Maybe Steve needed the distance, Tony thinks, swallowing thickly.
It takes Tony a minute to realize that Steve's eyes are locked on his throat, and he has no idea why until he swallows again, watches Steve's eyes track the nervous up-and-down of his Adam's apple, sees Steve's pupils dilate even wider than they had been. He bites deeper into his lip to check if he's really seeing what he is or if it's just wishful thinking.
Steve's eyes dart up to his lips, and when Tony lets out a soft puff of breath, mouth dropping open in shock, Steve starts to lean in, looks angrier for a second, then turns his head away with a distressed grunt, hands flexing on Tony's armor until it creaks, and Steve lets go when he whimpers.
"Okay," Tony gasps, reaching up to wrap his arms around Steve's neck. "Come here. Come here. We'll get through this, Steve."
"Tony," Steve whispers, shaking with the effort of not moving. "It's you."
"Come here," Tony urges again, pulling down around his neck. "I've got you, Steve."
"Please," Steve whispers, and it's the most scared Tony has ever heard him, the rage and aggression giving way to despair, heavy and discordant after the terror Tony had been inspired to. "Why you?"
Tony will be hurt later, he figures. He never wanted to disappoint Steve. But Steve is still clearly feeling the effects of whatever they dosed him with. He figures he's lucky Steve didn't punch him when he showed his face. "It's okay, Steve," he tells him as kindly as he can manage, and Steve makes a hurt noise, or maybe a sound trying to negate what he's saying.
But Steve kisses him back when he finally draws him down, hands slowing as he mentally shifts to peeling Tony free instead of trying to bust in, and he pushes the hurt to the back of his mind.

(mgv) if wilson's being too gentle during sex, house will goad and torment him by bringing up the ex-mrs wilsons. most effective during wilson's rut but house can confidently say it works pretty well outside of it, too.
he arches his back to feel the weight of wilson on him, purring low, "if this is what was sold to me as fantastic sex from a generous lover, i deserve compensation."
wilson's finger's twitched, digging harshly into house's hips. he hopes it bruises. wilson rumbles out, indignant and annoyed and unsurprised. their hips snap together harder.
"can you believe betty lied to my face like that? some nerve, right?"
"house..." it trails off in a growl. dangerous. the thrill overshadows the growing ache in his leg. an arm curls tight around his middle with an experimental squirm proving it'll only get tighter if he struggles. the breath in his ears is coming out harsher while wilson struggles to keep to the plan.
house just sinks them further into the mattress and reaches back to put his hand on the back of wilson's neck, a nail teasing the sensitive skin of his gland. he doesn't know where one begins and the other ends. time for the final blow. he turns to whisper in his ear, "you could break me, you know. i know you know how to put me back together again.
in a second he's shoved into the comforter and there's nothing for him to process anymore that he's getting railed like he should have been from the beginning. "never fucking shut up," wilson snarls, holding house by the ear with his teeth to keep him still. house hopes those teeth are staining red.
later, knotted together with sex-scent clogging up the bedroom, house takes advantage of the fact he can't be forced to look wilson in the eye when he preens again, his gland on full display and ripe for the taking. "any good stud should get a reward... go on, jimmy. you earned it."
he tasted just as good as he did the first time
