#crunchchute art#my art#sam and max#sam & max#i hope it will be viewable as i dont know how much tumblr will crunch it#in any case i have it up on twitter also and it seems to be in good quality there#it looks like a 'the 7 human souls:' meme hfhdhf#hey i can put more thoughts in the tags right? so first i didnt really put enough effort into my own one and i kinda realized my style#is kinda mid ngl. cause im lazy + this coloring style might not really fit them. anyway.#for sootnukis style i adore the rendering of the clothing folds and stuff but i couldnt get it just right it remains a mystery to me#silcrow i tried to do a traditional drawing but kinda messed up some of the coloring especially on the pants#also couldnt figure out if its just markers or markers + pencils or what. so i kinda did my own take of 90% markers 10% pencils#mtsodie i love the color palettes and the shapes so that was a lot of fun to try; i like the outcome#narnour i absolutely love the tiny little eyes and how goofy and round they look so that was fun to try to replicate too#as well as the colors which i mostly color picked cause i couldnt get a red overlay right#zembo was a nice way to revisit a chalky brush that i havent used in ages not sure if i got it right though#applettoast i feel like theres some gorillaz influence or its at least something i used while coloring. as you might know i used to draw#gorillaz a lot and tried to replicate the coloring etc. and i think it fit here. correct me if im wrong lol#snuckeys was also hella fun cause i love the cartooniness and the details like the teeth showing gums and stuff. hope i did it justice#also the eyes! i love the big highlight and that the eyes are brown its cute#it was nice to branch out for a bit

#the dragon prince#tdp#aaravos#gif#aquanutart#hi i would like to thank everyone who said on my last pic 'i am reblogging this for the puffballs'#as well as 'your tags have murdered me' etc#truly made the whole experience worthwhile. i still can't tell if anyone got the joke but i no longer care#next in our series of 'it's 2022 why don't you make a brush' i should really make a star brush#instead of sitting there going dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot dot ...#even traditional art has a shortcut method for this (it's called putting masking tape on everything and then: splatter)#(advisable to do this first before drawing anything else...)#the good thing is it doesn't actually take a long time to do the dot dot dots it's just kind of repetitive#and you get bored and start writing about it in your tags and then it takes longer because you're not working#i listened to the ff8 soundtrack while making this#i had actually planned to listen to the triple triad music the entire time but#it turned out i couldn't take it for several hours#even though i quickly realized my mistake i ended up having triple triad stuck in my head the whole time anyway. i did this to myself#anyway i was determined to finish this before season 4 dropped#because i also had the idea three years ago and i need to post it before the new season possibly makes it obsolete#threw a wrench into my own schedule by deciding at the last minute that i needed to animate it and i don't know how to animate#then tdp kind of also threw a wrench by releasing the first episode a week early but it's okay i'm still basically in time#i'd personally like it if aaravos were someone who warps and twists the truth and/or has a warped perspective rather than outright lying#i'm convinced there's a meaning to the upside-down star arcana and maybe rotating the key of aaravos can unlock something ??#saying this suddenly gave me flashbacks to the rotation keys in skyward sword rofl what if he's being held in prison#by his own startouch marking being upside-down because it's out of alignment with the universe or something#TWO MORE DAYS let's GO i've been waiting three years to have my theories blown apart

had an odd dream that i was reading a comic book. sketched a couple of the pages i could remember.
#i might adapt this into an actual story because i am SO SO SO mad that it isn't a thing i can go back to reading#oc#im definitely keeping the concept of save-bot i fucking love save-bot he's just doing his best. i love a robot who wants to help people#im not equipped to be writing about underground rebellions with any sense of real tact though#besides its in a superhero universe/story so you know it would just be so sucks lol#sketch#god the colors were so interesting. the teal parts were all very precisely crosshatched and the fire was this gorgeous brush pen looking#colored inks that just seemed like they were MOVING#and i mean some of that was because i was dreaming but god even in my halfhearted copy you can see some of the movement#it was a bad scene but a really really REALLY fun dream. i love when a book can *get* to me so i was really enjoying it#put it aside so i could take a break and woke up. instant fury at the universe for not having it be a real book instead#ill reblog with details if anyone's curious. i can explain this scene but i dont feel like it#the green people are in a secret basement though. hiding from the government. blue jacket guy is a speedster robot named save-bot who does#rescue stuff with every fire department so fire suppression technology is not very good because save-bot "can just save you''#however they're badly over their legal occupancy and the secret basement has One (1) exit so everyone is like really fucked here.#includinig save-bot who is going to do his job until he dies because he is an ai without any sense of self preservation and he cares#which i didn't even CATCH until i woke up and started tryin to frantically note everything down#and then i was like wait. the glitter on that last page before i realized i needed a glass of water to keep reading... what WAS that...#(it was tears suspended in midair because save-bot goes so fast and also knows he's so fucked LOL)#seriously i'm so mad someone else didn't make this.

guys my spider looks weird. she looks a bit gay. do you guys think she will moult out of this or will she turn even gayer ?
#orbweaver my angel........ she's such a lover#she's doing So good. she's so ready to be done mothering as well. one more week...#her claws looked Nightmarish and she was very dandruffy before. she also had a lot of scabs that came off with chunks o' fur#but she's since shed her claws (it was honestly horrible in its own right to see. they moreso Peeled away. it was yucky)#and they're looking Great now. and she really likes being brushed and wiped (she really likes getting her Ears Cleaned⁉️ unusual but good)#so no more clumps of fur just Sloughing Off. no more Ass Dandruff either. it was at the base of her tail but it's funnier to say assdandruff#like me slapping the base of dragon's tail and calling it Slapping his ass. it's Their Top Ass (normal statement)#she's got a bit of a sensitive tummy though. idk if that'll ever pass#so far we're just figuring out what she can eat that Won't make her tummy rumble and have her farting asunder#nulo fussie cat and pure harmony are all a bust in that regard. but tiki cat and wellness are good#chicken flavour stuff settled her tummy good. a couple weeks ago i just boiled chicken and gave her some#and that helped a Ton in getting her a bit more stable digestionwise#she's so sweet and purry all the time too i'm so endeared by this little lady#i love you. kitty cats.

Realism is fun till it isn’t and I realize I’ve already committed too far and can’t just scrap it but I know it will take me too long so here are some sacrifices you may see finished later on
#dragon#myart#creature#I still generally have inspiration for the first one so that one will probably get finished first#I really like watching the speedpaints procreate automatically records even though it’s crunchy and has a weird green tint#specifically on realism because it’s wild for anything else and is actually psychotic#Mostly because I just suddenly start experimenting with brushes and start turning layers off and on for a good chunk of it#I use 3 layers usually for realism#One for the actual drawing one for the sketch and one for a base color#It makes it better I think because it’s more similar to actual painting or something#That might not be the reason I dont really know#It’s just better I do it that way#Maybe because I can’t get distracted and lost?#Realism is also a great source of learning for me#Even if i never really finish stuff like this#I might this time though who knows#Sorry for leaving you guys stranded I’m chasing a really big train across the country#My priorities are with locomotives#“You guys” (I say to my very few followers 🤑🤑 (that probably followed me in the first place for dragon adventures stuff))#I do what I want and what I want is not dragon adventures right now#Right now I want locomotive#I’m not hijacking that train it sounds like I’m going to hijack that train#however#i would appreciate owning a big train I feel like I would enjoy that#Side note how do my DA followers feel about the genetic traits in the event eggs making motorouk w/ the error trait worth like 100mil#I feel ill when I can recite all of the full species names from memory#It does make sense though I’ve been playing since the first event in 2019#I’m committed what can I say#Almost forgot a tag oops#art

pretty sure i just got a spider bite while trying to fall asleep 🧍
#i thought it was just a stray hair on my elbow under the blanket and kept trying to shake it off#and then i finally went to brush it off w my hand and felt a bump there#and then it was unbearably itchy so i turned the lamp on to apply some anti-itch stuff bc it was driving me nuts#and i was trying to see where it was on my elbow bc wtf when did i get bit#and then i looked at it and it was very pale like a fresh bite and then there was some skin torn like a spider bite#i cant tell if theres two little holes or not and honestly idk if spiders always leave two fang marks fjdkdl#but it doesnt look like a mosquito bite unless i tore the skin myself from scratching at it#but the way it is looking... very similar to past spider bites#anyways i just removed everything from my bed and methodically searched Everything. looked all around the bed too. cannot find a spider#so. shrug. <- actually very afraid#but the thing that makes me Really think it's a spider is that the bump was super pale and now after a little while it is regular skintone#so that makes me think it was a brand new fresh bite the way it was a different colour and now its normal looking#which is uhhh scary! to have had a spider possibly in my bed!#and I can't find it so i simply do not Know and that is going to make it so hard to sleep tonight fjfkdl#man i barely ate today too so im just... really not doing well at this very moment fjfkdl#i cant eat anything rn though bc i already brushed my teeth and i dont want to do that again tonight fjfkdl#but i am. so hungry. augh. idk what I'd even eat anyways im too anxious to stomach anything#WHERE IS THIS SPIDER. I'm so mad I keep forgetting that not eating during the day messes up my sleep schedule
#Most of the time I just don't really feel hunger so if I'm tired and/or there's nothing good to eat#I'll either forget about it or brush it off whenever I think about getting something#But obviously if you don't eat you get tired and eating food replenishes that energy#So since I do consistently eat dinner every day it means that if I haven't had lunch then around the time I want to sleep#I'll have much more energy then I've had for most of the day which makes me unable to#I literally thought multiple times today ''Even though I don't feel hungry I know I should get something bc it'll be helpful''#And then I just didn't#Krafter Talks

i don't know if rushing to get another cat is the right thing to do but i'm.
she looks so much like her.
#and maybe that's a bad thing.#but god i want to meet this little kitten so bad.#even though i know i'm gonna break down sobbing as soon as i see her.#i haven't had a fluffy cat since i lost my courtney back in 2020.#i said i wouldn't do another fluffy one but.....#i was getting so good about brushing bridgey because she hadn't been grooming herself much#i could keep up with the grooming now i think.#but. god. i really don't know if this is the right thing to do.#i don't want to just impulsively get a kitten to try to fill this void.#and i don't know if my mom would even go for it.#but having 4 cats feels wrong.#only filling 2 dishes is killing me.
