You know what would be really cool. A plot line where character A is a great shot and character B (the boyfriend/girlfriend/etc.) is kidnapped and held hostage. Character C (bay guy) with a weapon to their head/ neck and holding them as a shield in-front of them so character A can’t shoot them. But. But character B trusts character A, and since they can’t get away from C, they relax in character C’s hold and nod at character A. A understands what B is giving them permission to do. Character A shoots character C, THROUGH character B. They are a good shot so they somehow miss anything vital in B and totally damage C. B then falls forward when C loosens their grip and A finishes C off with a head shot. A then runs to B on the floor, and promises that ‘you will be okay,’ and ‘I’m so sorry.’ And B just goes ‘ I know’ and/or ‘I trust you.’
