oh GOD.

I had this hc that I haven’t talked about of Jinx calling Isha “birdie” because she fell out of the sky and landed on Jinx’s head and Jinx loves giving out nicknames so it just made sense to me.

And since I love timebomb and them being Isha’s parents,,,, I just realized that Jinx had all the crow (or was it raven?) symbols and Ekko had all the owl symbols. They’re a family of birds.

I wonder what bird Isha is

The city hummed with neon lights, Zaun's usual mix of danger and allure wrapping around you like a second skin. You had long since learned to navigate the tightrope between survival and thrill, especially with two contrasting forces constantly pulling at you—Jinx and Ekko.

Tonight was no different.

Perched on the edge of an abandoned rooftop, the tension between the three of you crackled like a live wire. Jinx dangled her legs over the side, her laughter high-pitched and teetering on mania. Ekko stood beside you, arms crossed, the soft glow of his Zero Drive reflecting in his intense gaze.

"Come on, firecracker," Jinx purred, tilting her head at you with a grin that promised trouble. "You gonna sit there all night, or are we gonna make things explode?" Her fingers twitched over Fishbones, and you swore you could see the fireworks already sparking behind her eyes.

You exhaled, amused. "Not everything has to go up in flames, Jinx."

She gasped dramatically. "Blasphemy! Everything's more fun with a little boom. Right, Ekko?"

Ekko gave her a side glance, exasperation flickering across his face before he turned to you. "You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to." His voice was steady, grounding, so different from Jinx's electric unpredictability. "We can just chill, enjoy the view."

Jinx huffed. "Ugh, boring."

"Not everything has to be an adrenaline rush," Ekko countered.

"Says you!" She rolled her eyes and leaned against you, her body warm and restless. "But what about you, sugar? You gonna let Boy Wonder here keep you in the slow lane?"

You felt Ekko stiffen slightly at the nickname, and you sighed, threading a hand through your hair. You adored them both, despite—or maybe because of—their contrasts. Jinx was wild, untamed energy; Ekko was calculated chaos, refined and precise. One set your blood racing, the other kept you from burning out completely.

"Maybe I like both," you admitted, smirking. "The thrill of the chase and the peace that comes after."

Jinx blinked before a wicked grin spread across her face. "Ohhh, I see what you're doing." She leaned closer, her lips brushing your ear. "You wanna play both sides, huh?" Her voice was laced with something dangerous, something tantalizing.

Ekko chuckled, shaking his head. "Guess we’re gonna have to find a way to share."

Jinx pouted. "Ugh, compromise. Yuck."

You laughed, tilting your head back as the cool night air kissed your skin. With these two, life was anything but dull.

And you wouldn’t have it any other way.

In this AU, Powder is an elite spy whose goal is to infiltrate Piltover. In order to build a fake family to help with her infiltration, she adopts telepath Isha, who's a telepath. As she founds a spouse, she runs into Ekko, whom she fake marries. Unbeknownst to her, Ekko is a master assassin, whose code name is "Firelight." They decide to use the last name "Forger", and Powder chooses her civilian alias as "Jinx." They enroll Isha in Piltover Academy in order to get closer to the Kiramman noble family.

Concept I think is funny. Jinx only allows Ekko to call her Powder (He uses both Jinx and Powder interchangeably. Usually/casually, he uses Jinx but when they’re alone or he’s trying to calm her down he uses Powder). Surrounding People think it’s okay to call her Powder now. One tries. She puts a gun in their face until they call her Jinx again. Ekko comes around the corner and takes in Jinx’s tense form and calls her Powder softly and Jinx fucking melts. Surrounding People are. Indignant. But Jinx has a gun and is a perfect shot so they keep their mouths shut.
