Sometimes I wonder what happened to all those who aren't on here anymore.. especially mutuals I once talked to every day and night but whose blog are deactivated by now... I hope y'all are okay... I really do...
#none of them ever told anyone whats up/why they deactivated their blogs#there are teo people i have in mind but there are probably more#i really hope so much for them to be okay by now#but i went inactive for a long time and even when i still was active and one of them deactivated none of our mutuals really knew what was up#i just worry about them but it's like 4 years in the past i heard from them last time#but i never really forget about them#i actually think of 99% of the people i used to talk here every once in a while#i just wonder wether those i cant check up on are olay#or if they know they are still remembered...#im so happy most of the people i was in contact are still on here/ post frequently#and i know they are at least seemingly okay#idk#i hope yall are okay

Fuck fuck fuck low self-esteem has ruined my life.
#uchiha-gaeshi overshares#i should've known the signs when i got evaluated for adhd and my self perception was like#hold up gotta pull it up#and also disclaimer that this was a separate assessment for overall emotional wellbeing (or something like that) and this was just part of#the many tests that i had to take#ok. we're reaching even newer levels of oversharing here since i'm literally sharing evaluation results. but anywho#i was in the 96th percentile for sense of inadequacy; 17th percentile in (good) self esteem; 3rd percentile in self-reliance#and 3rd percentile in ego strength (i.e. satisfaction with self and one's abilities)#i saw this and got shocked and then forgot about it (in my defense there was a lot of stuff in the evaluation)#looks like it's more therapy for me. yay.#like there have been more times than not where i have felt less than to people around me. and fearing that people will see how pathetic#i actually am. god no wonder my desire to socialize decreased as my self esteem decreased#i might be repeating the same point over and over#ok so imma bring up the si/oc fic that i just dropped. like i think i *tried* to make a like a more confident version of myself; but i gues#i'll have to put it on pause because my teens were defined by feeling shit about myself. like idk what to do with a character like that#who's supposed to be making moves. like nothing would happen besides survivor's guilt#anyways back to the subject. as my gpa got pathetically low (i can't even share it here or else i'll probably deactivate this blog) and i#started losing jobs. i lost patience with myself. it seemed like other people were able to chug along with the demands of life while i was#fumbling around with no end in sight (tbh i wasn't the only one my close friend from college also has adhd and was really struggling and#another one might have dropped out. my childhood friend who also has adhd is in the same. exact. situation as i am with being unable to#go out in public since we feel like we can't be our “best selves”). then the old question came back: if i can't handle#high school/a part-time job/college on a low courseload then what the fuck was i going to do? some days i'd keep going with new strategies#or new ways to be more productive. but other days i didn't want to keep going#who knew it's not healthy to always assume that people are better than you? even though i have been reframing the more obvious thoughts#it's an automatic and unconscious impulse that just runs in the background of my head. idk if this is just a human thing or...#but because of this at times i'd hold myself back from fear of failure#anyways that's all i've lost my train of thought and have to do errands i've been putting off#txt

too many platforms are like "whoopsie daisies the server did a fucky wucky" when you try to interact with someone who's blocked you. can't they just show a simple "you're blocked" message like if i think it's actually a server error i'm probably going to try again
#also tumblr now shows no difference between a deactivated blog and a blog that's blocked you#and like. if it's someone you like/were mutuals with/followed/etc surely you would want to know which one of the two it is.#ig *possibly* platforms dont want you to know someones blocked you bc it might cause some people to get mad abt being blocked...?#idk.#i can't imagine it'd be so much of an issue that they can't just tell ppl when they're blocked though#like if someone is the type of person to get mad and make an alt to evade a block then they're not gonna be deterred by an ambiguous error#message. they'd eventually figure out they're blocked and then continue to harass the person on an alt

Trying to be active on tumblr really backfires all the time ☹️

IDK about tumblr or the first bit (I've personally never heard that at least not from anyone being serious) but the other stuff has been debated in academia for decades! One of my literature professors is ADAMANT that the vampire myth can be traced to old folklore about the reps and them reviving and possibly the blood-drinking comes from an evolution of the myth when before, old stories talked about blood soaking the earth where vampires rose. If anyone's interested, here's where you can find my professor's paper about it.

ink demonth day 1: nostalgia
// did you know that i had this au before i had this blog? that i had another ask blog before now, back when i was like 14? yeah. awful times. anyways, i tried mimicking the way i drew hands back then, but idk if i succeeded. anyways, not only has bendy gotten shorter (and essentially blorbofied), he also went from being 29 or something to being 11. so um. sorry, man.
although, as much as i hate to admit it, that time in my life i did make a few friends. most of them have deactivated their blogs since, and i don't think i'll talk to em again. i have a lot of nostalgia for back then, but i'm glad to never return, as i'm now an adult. anyways, hopefully i'll be able to complete a bunch of ink demonth prompts this year, and maybe also get back on track with panels! hopefully! i'm getting there i promise!!!
