sometimes its really obvious how much people dont actually believe presentation=/=gender when they see their nonbinary friend go from extremely masculine to relaxing back into femininity once theyre comfortable with their gender and every time they call it detransitioning with zero indication thats what their friend is calling it. i dont know how to tell you this but sometimes you present a certain way for social reasons and not because thats how you actually feel. sometimes you experience dysphoria about your body that is actually related to how people view you and not how you feel about your body. i really dont think its that uncommon for trans people to swing really hard in one direction for the affirmation and then relax back into a different presentation once they are more comfortable in their gender

im going to throw a fit. the response to any piece of work that goes into trans women's struggles, dysphoria, etc is so incredibly bad faith and annoying. like if you have a problem with how a story tells itself, mechanically, such as pacing, and it's not your thing, that's fine. but im not joking when i say i see it happen with every single work going over transfemininity - people throw whatever criticism they have at it. "it's too dark" "it's transphobic" "i dont relate to this as a (tme) person" like!!! get a fucking grip!!!! one of the biggest things i saw in response to colin's angelic kitty miracle chan is that "it's too depressing" and that "we don't need ANOTHER trans torture porn film" DO YOU HEAR YOURSELF. calling ANY genuine expression of how hard it is to exist as a trans women "torture porn" is genuinely fucking deranged. miracle chan isnt even like. dark. it's very mundanely sad. struggling with shaving, struggling to put on dresses, like. its very mundane. my friends talk about how they struggle with these things just in their day to day lives. i went into it thinking it was going to be like CRAZY dark or something based off of how people reacted to it and im just like. how on earth is this too "dark" for you. this is an average tuesday for people sometimes

its also very telling that most people. just in general. cannot bring themselves to relate to transfemininity in any way. they cannot step inside those shoes for even a second. they see a depiction of transfemininity and think its transphobic because they cant even imagine what its like to try something on and have it not fit your frame. both literally with clothing not built for you and metaphorically with passing. and the complicated feelings that come with it. or they can, but just not in regards to being transfem. people have a very real problem with bringing themselves to empathize with trans women. lmao. i see these metaphors and im like oh yup thats the feeling my friends talk about. we talked about that feeling last week. its so obvious to me but somehow not to half this website. skill issue AND youre an idiot

Vi as a character is crazy. She was essentially just a gag character in LOL and an 80s style “bad cop” with very morally dubious writing and design (of its time). Then out of nowhere theyre like actually. We need to rewrite her to have the most tragic backstory ever and face nonstop heartbreak and abuse by the system in power and have her plead and claw her way to having a voice and have her be at the center of reuniting two cities. thinking sm abt a frankenstein au with doctor zane and monster vylad. zane is thrilled he actually made vylad and he wants to help him live a normal life but he’s so focused on the scientific/medical part of the entire situation that he doesnt realize how distressed vylad is until he fully breaks down.

he initially intends to observe vylad with minimal contact but after vylad’s distress becomes obvious, he decides to move vylad into his house. vylad doesnt trust him, he worries about what zane had to do to make him, if he’s made of people murdered just to create him, but he has nowhere else to really go so he stays. it takes months for vylad to warm up to zane, to realize that he’s strange and erratic but ultimately well meaning
