So all is not well in paradise. Augustine and Mercymorn clearly have their own agendas, their conversation was quite alarming. They hate each other for sure, but there must be more to it than that. I expect one or even all of the older Lyctors to die in the book, every other ancient Lyctor has, and we still know next to nothing about ORTUS the first.

I worry for Mercy. I can't rightly explain why. Maybe because I'm such a big simp for her? I don't know, Augustine gives me the creeps.

Also shoutout to Harrow, little creeture, for doing the exact same thing that ORTUS did in GtN. That is to say, lurking in hallways eavesdropping on people.

It is immensely funny to me that 2 of my childhood idles Chris and Martin Kratt wrote and produce a cartoon fanficrion of themselves and what they do as zoologists.

I know the live sction version i saw in zaboomafoo was also just a public persona, but like,,, its so fucking funny to see them draw themselves as superheroes and invent supervillains that are essentially the things i also dislike about the real world, but in funny costumes and using almost ben 10 like "scifi" to save the day.

Also every now and then theres the tiniest reference to zaboomafoo and its like "autism yippee activate" but i cant share that with my cousins, for whom i am watching wild kratts in the first place, because its nowhere online and i can't explain "yeah once upon a time, they had a puppet leemur instead of cartoons and power suits and they just like hiked and stuff, but yeah no blue brother has always been messy and green brother has always been organized and they used to have a closet avalanche on them every day" we just cant relate that way, no matter how my inner child wants to guah about zaboomafoo the same way my cousins gush about wild kratts.

Somehow, we're on uncommon common ground, and it centers about the 2 zoologist brothers i grew up watching on grainy pbs local access.

And they're like playing up their personas enough they're essentially creating their own fanon versions of themselves, and so tiny repressed childhood-programs autism creeture and the quality of the fandom and the quality and nuance of the show are Introducing Brainworms.

real pokemon moment. we chinese really saw a cat, asked it what it wanted to be named as, and then called it that. we even kept the same intonation (the dash over the a) to ensure that everyone else who knew chinese would talk to the cat in the exact same way the cat called to us.

it's got 3 radicals; the left (犭) for quadruped animal, the cap (艹) for grass, and the base (田) for field, like rice fields. that's basically the whole backstory of how we saw and met the cat. the kitty really was just coming in from the grass on his 4 lil paws to our field and introduced themselves as mao. ily cat

猫 as a character is peak cat! It's been a while since I've been in Chinese school, so bear with me, but the left side uses the claw symbol, which shows it's an animal, and the right side (苗, pronounced miáo) helps explain its pronunciation. 苗 specifically means something along the lines of seedling/young/descendant and isn't really depictive of what it means, but when I was younger, I thought it looked a little like a cat with little ears and whiskers as well. (Chinese cats say ""喵"" (miāo) which ties back to the 苗 symbol as well!) Also, 猫 ""māo"" is kind of pronounced like a meow, which I think should give it bonus points. Overall, 猫 is the peak word for cat! :3

by far, my favorite thing about ur doggification of the hermits is that its highkey helping me try to figure out what my pupper is. shes certainly a mutt, very Creature, and were currently thinking she's some heeler variety? like she's definitely got some heeler tendencies but its hard to tell bc shes a big goofer. and also she is DEFINITELY not a shorthair. a few things that make it tough to tell with her is she has a Really Big & Floofy tail, and all the breeds/mixes that i can find that look like her do not, and her mouth is on the bottom of her snoot like a borzoi. even though her snoot is not particularly long. but it is sloped more than my other dog's?? and more sloped than most other dogs' ive seen.... maybe she does have some borzoi in there??? weve also been thinking border collie bc shes very border collie-esque,,

Omg!! Sound like a delightful creeture with lovely snoot!! If she has a big puffy tail she might have some Spitz in her, maybe some kind of Lurcher if she had the sighthound muzzle! This is so interesting bc i while learning about breeds i tend to do the same. My aunt has a mutt i think she might have a bit of collie/heeler in her too. And i think it mostly shows by her intense need to bark and white collar-like markings on her neck kdjrjt ig well never know but it's fun to try figuring out!

And ohh i never heard of that breed! Looked it up and it doesn't even have a wiki page in my language to see if the translatd name would ring a bell. It does look like it suits Hypno for looks tho!!! I really like it! :0 But i do have to say i was looking for a dog with brindle/markings coat so i can play with a pattern that's like.. "hypnotizing" dljdkffk but i genuinely liked the looks of this one! It's going on the list!

-Gilgamesh do know Garland thanks to Dissidia. He thought he got transported once more to a cycle of war.

-Alright they made Warmech/Death Machine terrifying in SoP and I love it. Still remember how it was scary encountering this super boss back in PS. It deserve this incarnation

-Ummm does that mean no Greg in ff14? TwT probably but remember we don't really know the timeline of this game and ff14

Alright some conclusions:

-Greg confirmed he cannot find the exit out of a world if it has dimension disturbances. Don't know who are Lufenias, he is simply pulled from nowhere towards World A with Death Machine.

-We can assume this Gilgamesh is the same one in Dissidia, finding FF5 world to go back home/fight Bartz. The way he describe Garland is same as in Dissidia Mobile and he made an interesting comment that the "world of strife" and World A seems to be connected. A confirmation of the fan theory that Dissidia and SoP World A are connected

-Tonberry Blacksmith sharing some bits about Greg's weapons and saying that the carelessness of swordsman leaving swords create many legends about it in worlds he has been. Tonberry seems to be friends/knows him. (Will double check on this for confirmation)

-Excalipoor being "owned by a great swordsman" and having the essence of the obsessive warrior even if it's useless it unlocks something in the user (Blue Mage job). Implying that Greg has something to do with BLU.

-This is obvious but I will still say Gilgamesh say he can possibly time travel (answering that perhaps the Garland he met is older ver of Jack)

-We don't have any clues who's the "collaborators" yet or I am just missing a cutscene when you finished WotR dlc

tbh the reason i went vegetarian is just because of the Tism (meat and fish has bad tecksture and bad smell and bad flavour and also it just feels icky to be eating the flesh of a dead Creeture) but yea. big agree. the meat industry is very greenhouse-gas-emitting and when you look into it it's actually rather gross D:

but if you have any reasons you need to eat meat (physical or mental health, financial, cultural, a different flavour of autism to me, etc) or if farming or something is your livelihood, that's okay ! i especially don't recommend going on any kind of restrictive diet if you're trying to recover from an eating disorder — as someone with personal experience with that, i promise it isn't worth it, wait until you're well enough. it's the big companies who are at the most fault, big businesses emit more in one year than an average person would ever emit in their life. we shouldn't have to sacrifice our health and other things. they should change the system from the top :/

climate change is Big and it honestly terrifies me so much. i study ecology and conservation biology and i have a lot of the same lectures as robin, if i have to look at the hockey stick graph one more time i might chuck something at the lecturer /j

but i think there is hope. and people are good, actually. and the world will get better. we just have to eat all the super-rich people instead of cows and then we will be fine /hj

hey you! yeah, you! do you hate climate change??? wanna do something about it?? let me tell you about one simple thing you can do to help!

i study environmental science at university, and every day it seems like we are looking at Yet Another graph that shows how royally fucked we are, and that sucks!! there is not much the average person can do to prevent this, however, as the vast majority of our greenhouse gas emissions come from fossil fuel burning to generate electricity, something we the little people do not have much control over. and yeah, you can go to protests and email your MPs, but that doesnt really feel like its doing anything a lot of the time, so you are probably wondering what You Specifically can do Right Now to help prevent climate change even the tiniest amount. and the answer is probably not what you expect!

the second largest greenhouse-gas-producing industry is agriculture. this is due to ruminant animals (animals that eat and digest grass such as cows, goats, and sheep) producing vast quantities of methane, a greenhouse gas which can be 80x as potent as carbon dioxide.

meat production is also highly space inefficient, as animals require wide areas of pasture, but are also often fed crops too, so require Even More area to grow those crops. this means cattle farming is a huge contributor to deforestation, as farmers require more and more space.

so what can you do to help? the answer is simple: cut down on your red meat consumption! this doesnt necessarily mean go vegetarian, although that is Even Better, because any reduction in the consumption of red meat, especially beef, will reduce your carbon footprint massively! simply replace the red meat in your diet with fish, poultry, or plant-based protein sources, and you're already making a difference!

i myself chose to go vegetarian last year for this exact reason, and it hasnt been nearly as difficult as i thought. so if i can do it, you can too!! share this post, tell your friends, spread the word! we can help save the world, one veggie burger at a time :)

tl;dr : the red meat industry produces hella methane, switch to poultry, fish, or veggie protein instead!

Now Grimoire. Perfect use of accent. Legit didn’t even notice it was an accent for probably a little too long. I actually had half a moment of ‘THEY RELEASED BLOSSOM FOR MODERN BREEDS?’ but I’m not a smart creeture. Anyway. Just absolutely stunning, and wonerful use of the Toxophilite set. The earth halo also fits in just perfectly with the colors and general feel. Absolutely would hire her to kill me. ‘ex’ assassin indeed.

Skreeming baybee. They yell!! Honestly I’ve loved Punk since the day I first saw them. What can I say? I just think they’re neat. Still a shame we can’t dress gaolers but you’ve picked the perfect accent to make up for that, and I love how it just makes them look a bit like they’re wearing tattered clothes, since the accent is right about the same color as their primary. Very punk rock, would go into the pit with.
