Luffy was drunk after banquet on Zou , Nami asked them to use Laws power and bring the map , law and luffy left entire crew and walked up to shore of the Zuneisha , so law could use his ability easily, he grabbed luffy and moved themselves on deck of the Sunny. luffy was really drunk and was lazy to find some map so he laid down on the deck and start staring at the sky , there was roar of the ocean and stars in the moonlit sky , they were far from anyone.

"Torao c'mon look at the sky it is beautiful isn't it? "

law was looking down at luffy

"yeah it is " he smiled softly "beautiful, cute and annoying sometimes "

luffy felt how laws voice was trembling, sat up in front of him, turned laws face towards him, wiped the tears from his face and cupped his face. their eyes met, law felt how luffys face was close to him and with this action his heart began pounding like a hell he could hear his heart beating, cheeks start flushing

luffy felt the desire to kiss him how sprout up inside him , he was hesitating didn't know what to do, law realized this but was waiting to Luffy's next move, wondering what he was up to.

they locked eyes, and luffy felt his nerves intensity , while law was captivated by luffy's cuteness -those big , sparkling brown eyes,long lashes , small nose and soft pink lips . Lately , law had struggled to keep himself in check; jealousy, desire, anger, lust, passion, obsession-all these emotions that luffy stirred within him were driving him mad.

He kept reminding himself that they would soon be enemies , that it was pointless to feel this way , but now , with those pleading eyes gazing up at him, it was becoming harder to resist ; begging him to be touched, to be kissed, pleasured, he couldn't resist, he could never resist those eyes, even if they ever asked him to destroy the whole world he would do it without hesitation.

law grabbed luffy by his neck and crashed his lips against luffy's in heated rush. Luffy responded by wrapping his arms around Law, pulling him closer as the kiss deepened, becoming more passionate, sweet and wet. Law guided luffy down to the deck, positioning himself over him as they continued to kiss, their tongues entwining in a fervent dance. blurred their minds, leaving them lost everything except each other

"Luffy..." Law's voice was barely above a whisper, strained with the weight of his emotions. His thumb lightly traced the curve of Luffy's jaw, his touch tender but filled with a restrained intensity. "I..."

Before he could finish his thought, he leaned in, driven by an irresistible urge. His lips brushed against Luffy's, this time with a deeper, more passionate kiss. It was a kiss that spoke of all the things he couldn't put into words—the jealousy, the desire, the frustration, and most of all, the undeniable pull he felt toward Luffy.

Luffy responded instinctively, his hands reaching up to grasp Law's arms, pulling him closer. The kiss deepened, becoming a powerful exchange of emotions. Every touch, every caress was charged with the intensity of their feelings, and for a few precious moments, the world outside ceased to exist.

When they finally broke apart, their breaths mingling in the cool night air, Law's forehead rested gently against Luffy's. Both of them were breathless, their faces flushed with a mix of passion and vulnerability. Law's eyes, usually so controlled, were now full of raw emotion as he looked into Luffy's.

I think one representation we are really missing in media is people who are interested in romantic relationships but that doesn't mean it's the only ending for them to be happy. Like, an unmarried woman living with lots of cats or an old unmarried man in an apartment is always depicted as this lonely unfulfilling life when it sounds so good to me. This is why I love one piece so much. Sanji is obviously not like luffy or Zoro who aren't interested in romance at all but atleast to me I can't imagine him ending up married with one single woman and raising children. I think he would end up like chef Zeff in the end. And there's so many different ways people are living. Whitebeard was happy raising his hoarde of criminal adopted boys, kureha is happy living alone up on a mountain and only coming down when she pleases to cause shit. Rayleigh and shakky are happy in..whatever their arrangement is.

No anon literally. One Piece has always been about that happiness is more than just the social norms we've found ourselves in. Happiness is MORE than just the world TELLING us what happiness is, it's MORE than just getting married, settling down, and having a wife and kids. Happiness is different for everyone, goals and dreams aren't just related to romance and bloodlines, and that's why for the LIFE of me I cannot see One Piece ending with ANY of the Strawhats getting married.

Even with Hancock, her happiness is not 'marrying' Luffy, it's the fact SOMEONE actually SEES her as a human being. If Luffy ever loved her back romantically , it'd be a paradox, because she loves him BECAUSE he doesn't romantically love HER.

And with Sanji, we have seen Sanji's happiness is not JUST marrying a woman, Sanji's happiness is not getting married. Sanji's happiness is with his crew, it's his dreams, it's carrying on Zeff's will and finding the All Blue. Pudding's happiness came from Sanji helping her realise she's more than just the monster her mother told her she was, and this is a STEP towards her finding her own person and happiness.

Happiness CAN mean a romantic partner and marriage, but One Piece has shown us time and time again, these characters do NOT care about that - nor do they even THINK about that. Oda is a good writer, he makes sure his themes all connect and are comprehensible - hence why I truly cannot see ANY of the strawhats getting married or having any endgame relationships. Especially with One Piece having tons of older characters who are happy existing without romantic partners OR marriage.

Married to The Enemy- Shingen Ch. 59

Chapter 59

The next day, Shingen was helping Ava get ready to go greet the Oda. Saki had dropped their breakfast off early, anticipating an early arrival. However, after the travel and the somewhat late evening, and being pregnant, Ava was not getting up until she was ready to be fully awake. And Shingen wasn’t even going to try. He knew she needed her rest.

“We’re gonna be late.” Ava muttered, as she tried to hurry through her morning routine.

“My angel, they have waited all this time. They can wait a bit longer.” Shingen assured her, his hands going to rest gently on her shoulders. “Now, let me help.” He was then reaching for the cloth she was using to wash her face. Slowly, gently, lovingly he took the warm wet cloth over her face.

Ava relaxed under his touch as she always did. “Well…you do have a point.” She agreed. “I just can’t help but to worry. Saki and Yukimura said they’ve been getting antsy…and ALL of them are coming.”

Shingen couldn’t lie. He wished that he didn’t have to deal with Nobunaga and his men. He already had quite the hatred for Nobunaga…but now that he had Ava…he hated having to share her attention. Though he could be mature about it and would never deny Ava anything she asked. He knew she cared about the Oda forces. Her initial love for them was part of what drove her to agree to the arranged marriage in the first place.

Shingen finished up helping Ava wash her face and moved on to helping her get dressed, tying her obi for her. “They’ll be fine.” He said, wanting to get her to relax. 

“I know.” Ava replied, reaching for her brush.

Shingen took it from her, giving her a kiss on the cheek as he did so. “I thought I was your hairstylist now?” He teased.

Ava smiled. “Well…I mean if you insist. I won’t protest.” She replied. “You’ve just been doting on me all morning.”

“Because my beautiful wife and mother of my child deserves to be doted on.” Shingen replied, kissing her neck. “And as I said before…I like seeing you wear your hair how I have put it up for you.” Especially when there are going to be other men around. Shingen added mentally.

Ava’s cheeks flushed and a happy smile came to her face. “Well…I get that. I really like it when you wear the clothes I make or pick out for you.”

Shingen wrapped his arms around Ava and hugged her from behind. “You really are the most precious and adorable…” He gushed, peppering her cheek and side of her neck with kisses, earning some adorable giggles and a beautiful smile from her.

“If we keep this up, we’re never going to finish getting ready.” Ava said, though she tried to maintain a stern tone and expression, the light of laughter and happiness danced in her green eyes.

“Forgive my, my love. I can’t help myself when it comes to you.” He said, giving her one last peck on the cheek before releasing her and finishing up her hair.

Ava checked her reflection, noticing that Shingen had used the combs he’d bought for her previously to style her hair. A warmth bubbled up in her chest. “Looks perfect.” She said, touching the combs.

Shingen smiled. “As you always do.” He told her, taking her hand in his and placing a kiss on her fingers. “Shall we go, my angel?”

Ava smiled at him and nodded. “Yup. They should be here any minute.”

Out at the castle gate…

“Why the hell aren’t those two here yet?” Yukimura asked with a sigh as he paced by the gate.

“I dropped breakfast off a little later than usual this morning.” Saki said. “I tried to drop it off early, but Ava was still sleeping.”

“What?!” Yukimura asked in disbelief.

Saki glared at him. “She is with child, dumbass. She needs all the sleep she can get right now.”

“Yeah, but like any other day, but today.” Yukimura said. “The Oda are gonna be upset if she’s not here.”

“We’ll just have to explain that they arrived back just yesterday and she’s still worn out.” Saki replied.

“They’ve been getting suspicious.” Yukimura reminded her.

“If they want to start a fight, I will happily oblige them.” Kenshin spoke up.

“Lord Kenshin, I don’t think that’s what we really want to happen right now.” Sasuke said. “They’ll get here, we’ll have a nice banquet. And they will be happy to see Ava whenever she arrives.”

“Or we can go to war. That’s fine with me.” Kenshin replied.

Sasuke sighed. “How about no fighting and I’ll train with you after the banquet?”

“Or we can train right now.” Kenshin replied, drawing his sword.

Sasuke sighed as he leaped out of the way. “Why do I always end up here?”

“Certainly is a lively bunch.” Ava’s grandmother spoke up.

“You’ve no idea.” Saki replied.

Just then the sound of horse hooves could be heard. The group looked up as the Oda forces approached the gates…all seven of them. “Dammit.” Yukimura muttered under his breath.

“Hello, my lords.” Saki greeted them with a smile and a polite bow.

“Hey Saki! How ya been?” Keiji asked, jumping down from his horse and walking over to Saki and throwing an arm around her shoulders.

“Fine.” Saki answered.

“Where’s Ava?” Hideyoshi asked, his eyes scanning the group and not seeing his little sister.

“She and Lord Shingen will be here soon.” Saki answered. “They just got back yesterday. She slept in this morning, still weary from the travel.”

“That was an awfully long honeymoon they went on.” Masamune said, as he was leaping down from his horse.

“Suspiciously long you mean.” Mitsuhide said, also jumping down.

“Seriously, who leaves for that long for THAT?” Ieyasu agreed.

Slowly, they all got down from their horses, attendants coming to take them away. Keiji was still standing by Saki, his arm still around her. Yukimura was glaring. “Don’t you think you’re being a little too familiar there?” He asked.

Keiji grinned at him. “Awe, is someone jealous? Don’t worry, I got two arms!” He was then throwing the other arm around Yukimura.

Saki laughed and Yukimura’s face got red. “That…that is not what I was talking about!” He was then shoving Keiji away and pulling Saki by the hand to his side and away from Keiji.

“Is my lucky charm really back?” Nobunaga asked, looking at Saki.

Saki nodded. “Yes, my lord.”

“There’s something else you aren’t telling us.” Mitsuhide said, looking at her. “Something you are hiding and it is about our little mouse.”

“She’s not hurt is she?” Hideyoshi asked. “I swear if that bastard let anything happen to her…”

“You can calm down, Hideyoshi. I’m perfectly fine.”

Everyone looked up at the sound of Ava’s voice. She and Shingen were approaching from the castle, hand-in-hand. Hideyoshi instantly seemed to deflate in relief as soon as he saw Ava. “Thank heavens, I was really starting to get worried.” Hideyoshi said as he headed for Ava and pulled her into a hug.

Ava smiled as she used her free arm to return the hug. “You worry too much. Shingen is a very good husband and takes good care of me.” She assured him.

Hideyoshi slowly released her. “You two were just gone for so long.” He said. He was then looking over at Shingen. “I was starting to think you dragged Ava into some kind of plot and planned to use her to betray us.”

Shingen glared at Hideyoshi. “I wouldn’t use Ava.”

“Come on now, Hideyoshi. Don’t hog the princess.” Keiji said, coming over to hug Ava now as well. 

“Oh, are we all taking turns?” Masamune asked. “I’ll take my hug next, lass.”

Shingen was having a hard time not pulling Ava into his arms…but he knew that Ava cared about these men. Not the same way she loved him, but they were family to her.

“It appears your honeymoon wasn’t just long, but fruitful.” Masamune said as he took his turn to hug Ava.

“What…” Hideyoshi asked and that was when his eyes were drawn to the gentle yet noticeable swell of Ava’s belly. His golden eyes went wide. “You…”

Ava smiled as she placed a hand on her belly. “Yup. Shingen and I are having a baby!”

Shingen smiled as he pulled Ava into his arms and kissed her cheek. He rested a hand over hers. He couldn’t help but to be so happy that they were having a baby together. He also couldn’t help but to be happy that she was so excited about it…and so excited to share with the others that they were expecting a child together.

Nobunaga gave an amused haughty chuckle. “I should have expected this.”

“Congratulations, Lady Ava.” Mitsunari said, smiling sweetly at Ava.

“My, my, our little seamstress is full of surprises.” Mitsuhide said. He then looked at Saki. “So, this is what you were hiding.”

“I wasn’t hiding anything.” Saki replied. “I just know my lady wanted to be the one to tell you guys.”

“Well, now I definitely have to work on a feast.” Masamune said. “Point me in the direction of your kitchen and I’ll make all the lass’s favorites.”

“You don’t have to do that, Masamune.” Ava protested.

“What? I have to make sure you and the little one get everything you need.” Masamune replied.

“I can’t wait to see you when you’re bigger!” Keiji declared.

“You will be quite adorable when you gain that little waddle.” Mitsuhide agreed.

Ava’s cheeks reddened and she glared at them. “You guys…”

Shingen had to agree with them…but he didn’t like it. You are a mature and reasonable man. Shingen mentally told himself. You can handle Ava’s friendships with the Oda…they were the ones who took her in afterall when she first arrived in this time.

Oba-san was leaning over to Saki and whispering. “She could have had her pick, couldn’t she?”

Saki nodded. “Oh, definitely.”

Shingen felt a frown coming to his face when he overheard that. Of course…he already knew this. It didn’t take a genius to figure it out.

“You are a new face.” Nobunaga spoke, his carnelian eyes taking in the old woman.

“My face? It’s far from new. Been around for many years actually.” Oba-san said, smiling. 

Nobunaga chuckled as he observed Oba-san. “You must be Ava’s grandmother.”

Ava looked at Nobunaga with wide eyes. “How did you figure that out?”

“She has your fire and your eyes, fireball.” Nobunaga answered.

“Both do run in our family.” Oba-san said with a grin.

“Wait…if she’s your grandmother…where exactly did you two go for your honeymoon?” Hideyoshi asked.

“My hometown.” Ava answered. That is how she had been referring to the modern day for a long time now. “That’s why we were gone so long.”

“I see.” Nobunaga replied.

“Really?” Hideyoshi asked.

Ava nodded. “Yeah…I wanted to visit Oba-san and…I wanted to show Shingen around my hometown.” She just left off the part where they initially took the trip to save Shingen’s life.The rest had been a bonus.

“And when I found out I was gonna be a great grandma, I had to come back with her.” Oba-san said.

“And I wasn’t about to say no to something that would make my angel happy.” Shingen said.

“So…Ava who is everyone here?” Oba-san asked.

“Oh right…how rude of me.” Ava said. “Oba-san, this is Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, Mitsuhide, Ieyasu, Masamune, Mitsunari, and Keiji.”

Shingen watched the old woman as she took in the names as Ava introduced them all. He saw the subtle look of surprise as Ava rattled off each name. That was when Shingen recalled, they were all taught about in the future. Clearly she recognized the names. She seemed somewhat surprised, but did not show any fear.

“So, you were the ones to take in my sweet Ava?” She asked, looking at them all.

“She saved my life and proved herself to be quite valuable.” Nobunaga said. “I could not so easily let such a person go.”

“She is my treasured little sister.” Hideyoshi spoke up.

“She’s alright to have around.” Ieyasu agreed. “She can be a pain sometimes, but…she’s not so bad.”

“Lady Ava is a delight.” Mitsunari agreed.

“Things have been a lot more fun with the lass around.” Masamune chimed in. “And now there’s going to be a little one AND we have her grandmother.”

“It’s only going to get more lively!” Keiji agreed with Masamune.

“Especially now that we have someone to share a wealth of knowledge of our little mouse.” Mitsuhide said as he smoothly came up to Oba-san and took her arm in his. “Allow me to escort you inside.”

Oba-san looked up at Mitsuhide. “Oh, you’re a sneaky one…I like you.” She said. She was then reaching up and pinching Mitsuhide on the cheek. “And so cute.”

Ava was beside Shingen laughing. “Only my grandmother…”

“Alright, let’s go in and get this party started!” Keiji declared.

“Yes, we have much to celebrate.” Nobunaga agreed.

This banquet would be long…but Shingen could see the happy smile on Ava’s face. Though he still hated Nobunaga…though he hated having to share Ava’s attention…he couldn’t deny her anything that made her happy.

PART ONE

“Moon, tell me if I could”

“You alright there doll?” a sudden voice said, my head that rested on the bar counter lifted as I looked at the man that uttered those words to me. He was pretty, the man had silky ginger hair and dark blue eyes.. His height was average but still taller than me, he sat next to me with a soft gaze as he held a glass of wine in his hand.

“You look like you had a rough day, I'm Chuuya, Chuuya Nakahara.” He uttered as I sat up and wiped the tears that were welled up in my eyes. “Just a rough day, I mean I literally had to be the maid of honor to my best friend while my ex husband was the groom. I'm Y/N by the way..” I huffed out as I took a drink of whatever alcohol I was given. I put my head in my hands as I sighed softly, god I was a mess. To which Chuuya just patted my head and slipped me a piece of paper with his number in it. “I thought you were pretty, and it looks like you need a friend so here's my number.” He told me with a soft smile, that night Chuuya and I drank the night away.

“Send up my heart to you?”

I giggled as I told Chuuya about a cat I had just gotten, he was an orange kitten that I named Rui. I didn't notice but Chuuya was smiling as if he was the luckiest man on earth while watching me play with my new kitten Rui through facetime. “He kind of looks like you Chuu!” I said happily as I craddled Rui in my arms, Rui did everything to get out of my arms but he failed so he just bit my arm. He didn't have sharp teeth so if anything it tickled, Chuuya laughed softly before he uttered “Yeah he does.”

“Can you come over?” I asked suddenly as I played with Rui, I didn't look at my screen as Chuuya screenshoted the moment before the words ‘Yeah I'll be there in 10.’ left his lips and he ended the call. Just as he said ten minutes later he opened my door to my apartment with the spare key that I had given him. I walked out and set Rui down before I jumped in Chuuya's arms, he quickly caught me as always, Chuuya's right hand rested on my thighs with a firm grip while his left hand was wrapped around my back. I laughed softly as Chuuya nuzzled his head in my neck while he smiled softly.

“So, when I die, which I must do”

“Y/n.. Who- Who was your ex husband?” I heard Chuuya ask from the living room as I stood in the kitchen cooking food, I bit my lip as I uttered 5 words. “Osamu Dazai.. was my husband.” I stood nervously as I waited for Chuuya's response, until arms wrapled around my waist and a head rested on my shoulder. “I knew Dazai. He's an ass, he didn't deserve you doll.” Chuuya told me as he placed a kiss on my shoulder before helping me cook dinner.

By the time we were done there was a mess in the kitchen, my face was covered in food and so was Chuuya's. Instead of cleaning it up, we just stood in the middle of the kitchen, we held each other before Chuuya pulled me into a gentle kiss which was interrupted by Rui meowing at us. “Aw Rui do you want some attention too?” I laughed as I picked up the cat and held him in between Chuuya and I

“Could it shine down here with you?”

I hadn't seen Dazai since he got married to Riko and I hadn't seen Riko since our fight after the wedding, yet here they stood at my front door with a little boy that looked about 2 years old. He looked exactly like his father, Riko said his name was Oda and that Dazai named him. She didn't know who Oda was, nor what he meant to Dazai, but I did. I was there when Dazai held Oda’s dying body in his arms. Riko and Dazai shoved their way in as little Oda said hi before following his parents, he was a sweet boy.

“So Y/n, did you ever move on from my husband or are you still stuck up on him?” Riko said snarkily as I clenched my fists and closed my front door. Right one que Chuuya walked out of our bedroom with Rui in his arms as he looked at Dazai and his bitch of a wife confused. “I didn't know we had guests? I didn't know our guests would be your ex husband and his… wife” Chuuya said as he looked at me and put Rui down. “Chuuya?..” Dazai uttered shocked as he glared at Chuuya, I walked over to my boyfriend and kissed his cheek before petting Rui. “Riko.. This is my boyfriend, Chuuya. He’s not interested in you so don't try anything!” I said in a passive aggressive tone as Oda played with Rui.

Riko suddenly started to talk about random things in her marriage with Dazai and how Dazai is so much happier with her than he was with me. Dazai was on his phone as his wife went on and on whilst Chuuya and I stood there awkwardly until a small voice spoke up “Mama you're talking too much..” I snorted loudly as I covered my mouth before my head turned to the voice of Oda, their two year old son. Oda had a pout on his face as Rui hissed at Riko, “Mama you know lying is bad! and rude. Daddy talks about Y/n lots! and he says he liked them better!” Oda continued as he pointed a scolding finger at his mother.

Chuuya and I bursted into laughter as Oda scolded his mom for her immature actions, until Riko had enough and she stood up. She grabbed little Oda as he waved bye to Rui, Chuuya and I with a smile as Dazai hurried after his wife and son.

“'Cause my love is mine, all mine”

I walked into my now empty apartment, and stood as memories flashed through my head, Chuuya walked inside and kissed my cheek. He hugged me from behind with his hands resting around my waist, until two kids ran past the two of us and looked around excited. “Woah.. this is your old apartment?” a little girl with bright ginger hair and heterochromic eyes just like her father, “It’s small.” another little girl said as she carried our old cat Rui inside. “MOM/DAD ASUKA PINCHED ME!!” a voice shouted from the empty hallway. A little boy with h/c hair ran from the hallway and hugged my legs as Chuuya sighed and went looking for Asuka. “Awe it's okay Fuyuki..” I laughed as he hid behind my legs while his sisters argued in the empty old living room as Chuuya tried to pull the two apart.

I smiled as life fell into place for me.

-the chapter starts with the revolutionary army having a battle, and Kuma assisting in it despite Ivankov telling him not to go and that he was being reckless.

-since Ginny's disappearence, Kuma has gotten a lot more violent on the battlefield and has even fought against the enemy on his own and won.

-the revos receive a call from someone and when they pick up, the person tells them that they're sorry, and that their whole troop has been killed. This person of course, is none other than Ginny.

-Kuma tells his comrades that he will go rest on the ship since he was pretty exhausted from the battle, a battle that lasted three years that he single handedly won.

-two years after Ginny's disappearance, the revos receive a call from her, we can hear a baby crying in the background and she tells Kuma that she may not make it because she was seriously ill, she also tells him that she had been forced to marry a celestial dragon (we're not told who this CD is) and that he threw her out with her newborn baby after They both got the disease. She tells Kuma that she is Currently at the church where they used to live together. and that she made it over there by sailing under the sun and shielding her own baby using her own body.

-the sapphire scale disease is a very rare disease that causes the patient's skin to turn into a hard crystallized scale-like state upon contact with any natural light. So Ginny travelling to get back home while exposing herself to the sunlight and moonlight was literally a death sentence.

-Upon hearing that she's at the church, Kuma goes to find her, right before she says her last words "I have always, always loved you, Kuma..."

-Kuma arrives at the church, it's empty, and we can see him kneeling in front of Ginny's dead body, we only see her hand and foot, they are badly damaged by the disease. Kuma starts Crying and holds her dead body in his arms before putting her into rest at a grave, the grave marker has her name on it, which is confirmed to be Ginny.

-Kuma takes it upon himself to raise little Bonney (he didn't name her bonney, it was Ginny who named her) however he is clueless about so many things regarding parenting, we see him asking the elderly for advice on how to make milk for Bonney 🥺 (they say that they would gladly help him but that he should put her in a cage so he won't crush her during his sleep... BROOOOO THESE ELDERLY MFS ARE SAVAGE AS HELL 💀💀💀)

-Kuma starts to balance between his work as revolutionary and a new surrogate parent. We see him holding the milk bottle so little Bonney can drink, and she chugs it in no time. Kuma calls her "a big eater" just like he used to do for Ginny.

-We see a montage of Bonney growing up, and she calls Kuma "papa", to which he burst out in tears (he reminds me of Kyros in this scene.... WHAT'S WITH ODA AND BIG SOFT DADS BEING ALL TEARJERKERS ?????) We see him assisting in revolutionary battles and training Sabo as well as taking care of his daughter in his hometown, scenes of him bathing her and sleeping next to her

-however it's not all fun and games (Oda: of course this is Kuma's flashback, it has to be messed up to the max!) And we see Gyogyo and his friend (Bonney's two future subordinates) come to the church, and Kuma orders them to lock the door. They comply and close it but notice that he had also closed the windows completely shut with woodbplanks, they ask him why he did that and he tells them that it's because Bonney shouldn't be exposed to light (he shows them a small spot of crystalized scales on her face near her cheek where she will have her piercing in the future). He tells dragon and iva that he will quit being a revolutionary so he can take care of Bonney

-The kids bully Bonney and call her a vampire, she beats them and gives them the middle finger, and when she tried to get out Kuma stops her, fearing she might get exposed to sunlight. Instead he brings her books from all around the world to read.

-Kuma takes Bonney to so many other doctors, some of which mis-diagnosed her with the amber-lead disease (the same disease law had)

-a doctor diagnoses her with the sapphire scale disease and tells Kuma that even though she didn't get exposed to natural light, the illness will still kill her slowly and she won't make it pass 10 years old

-Bonney overhears them and Kuma lies to her that the doctor said she will be cured in ten years, he calls her Jewelry because of the small patch of sapphire scales that she has on her face

-the two of them start dancing. Kuma asks Bonney where would she like to go and she tells him that she dreams of travelling the world and going to skypia and drum island.

-News about the return of King Beckori to the throne, and the elderly people tell Kuma that the king wants to exterminate those who oppose him, Kuma is shocked by the news, and the chapter ends.

Okay, overall impression of the chapter:

I am at a loss of words... I am appallled I'm... I'm...

and to think that we're not done and we still have more!!!!! KUMA WILL STILL SUFFER MORE AND MORE AND EVEN MORE!

but for now, I want to clear the air with some cute panels, if we gone remember Kuma, might as well remember him for the big softie he is:

Franky/Brook Propaganda

I've been hopelessly obsessed with Superbones for half a year now. While I initially shipped them as a joke, as I continued reading One Piece I soon realised they have a lot of untapped potential.

So if you're willing to hear me out, here's why I think Franky and Brook are indisputably gay. Source: trust me.

Franky and Brook are able to understand each other on a level that no other Straw Hat can, as they both know what it's like to be robbed of what made them “human”. They lack flesh and the ability to feel physical touch to some extent.

Additionally, they both have first-hand experience with death and the loneliness that comes with it. Franky spent 4 years in hiding, while Brook was isolated for 50.

Being the resident freaks of the Straw Hats, they know what it's like to have people be unnerved (or amazed) by their looks and abilities. I consider them to be a part of what I like to call the “true monster trio” with Chopper. Monster dads and monster son.

Franky is able to quench Brook's unsavoury desires. Being a proud “pervert”, he willingly shows off his panties and tits 24/7 without even needing to be asked.

Both of them have musical talent and could write sappy love songs to each other.

In an updated SBS question, when Oda was asked where Jinbe would fit if the Straw Hats were a family, Franky's role was changed from “father” to “perverted grandma”, with Brook being the “perverted grandpa”. They're married.

I believe the reason Franky told Brook he would be “cast aside for being different” back in Thriller Bark was to warn him, considering his experience on Water 7. Though his first interactions with Brook may seem harsh, Franky's shown to quickly respect him after hearing his promise with Laboon, and even considers him a bigger man than he is.

Franky spends an unnecessarily long time carrying Brook in Thriller Bark.

During Franky's fight with Señor Pink, they both agree that flings with immature women are sickening. You know who has tons of experience? Brook.

When Franky asks Robin if she wants to take the backseat of his motorbike, Brook assumes this flirting is directed at him. In his own words, “there's nothing wrong with some good male bonding.” And if that isn't gay, I'm neurotypical.

They could both comfortably hug each other despite having hard bodies.

If Brook ever wished to bone Franky, he'd make him a cola-powered dick in his workshop in less than an hour.

Franky could serve as an emergency milk deposit for Brook by storing bottles in his stomach. Of course, that means he'll have to deal with Farmer Franky.

They have the unique aesthetic of modern technology vs. fossil.

I just think their dynamic is funny.

If you're still not convinced, that's perfectly fine! But if you prefer another pairing more, why not consider the joys of multishipping? Alternatively, they could be in a poly relationship.

Anyway, I'm pretty sure I'm the only person actively drawing and planning fanfics for them. There aren't really many fanworks of them so it'd be very epic if more people saw my vision. 🥹

Soukoku - Non-abilities au

A/n: To put it simply, there are no abilities just as the title says. Oh, and Odasaku's alive ^^

Everyone had arrived.

"Now I'm sure you are all wondering why I gathered you all here, correct?" 

Any and all murmuring had ceased as heads turned towards the head of the table. 

There stood a brunette man dressed in a simple blouse, dress pants and a waistcoat. It was a miracle he could run around solving crimes so effortless in that attire.

"Before I reveal my reason for gathering you all, first let me introduce to you all a close friend of mine from my old place of work." The brunette announced as he gestured to another man seated next to his left. 

Everyone's eyes were drawn to him. This newcomer to the group possessed a comforting air to himself, his auburn hair giving him the warmth of a fire, his sapphire eyes giving him the calm of the water.

"Pleasure to meet some colleagues of Dazai here. It's been a long time coming as I see it. I'm Oda." The gentleman, now known as Oda, introduced himself. Dazai then cleared his throat.

"I trust there will be no hostility towards Oda. Even if he's from another organisation." Dazai asked. A murmur of "Yes" wafted around the group. "Now, since you've all so patiently waited, my reason for this meeting of sorts is that me and Chuuya have.. got engaged!" 

Smiles erupted on everyone's faces. Taking a seat, Dazai reached for the hand of the ginger sitting to his right. He gladly let him. "I told you we had nothing to worry about. Everyone loves you, remember?" Dazai whispered to him, letting his thumb trace circles on the back of his hand. "I know but I have a right to worry." The ginger grumbled back.

Said ginger then, using his free hand, pulled Dazai closer to himself, and kissed him. They locked lips for a couple of seconds before coming up for air. 

"Someone's confident today, aren't you Chuuya?" Dazai giggled, sending  Chuuya into a fluster. Dazai's laugh, his smile, his touch. Any of these made the ginger crazy for the brunette sat in front of him. 

"Chu?" A nickname broke through Chuuya's daze. Chuuya (reluctantly) turned his attention away from his fiance and towards the woman sat next to him. 

"Yes, Kouyou?" He responded. "... How are you, my darling? Has Dazai been treating you right?" Kouyou bombarded Chuuya with questions. 

"Kouyou, calm down." A young girl interrupted Kouyou's fretting. "Give him some space."

"But Kyouka, my baby's getting married to a demon!" Kouyou whined. "I'll be fine, Mama." Chuuya said resting his hand on Kouyou's shoulder.

"Now.. LET'S DRINK!" Chuuya exclaimed.

"You're not drinking a single drop of alcohol, Chibi." Dazai responded.

"But-" "No, Chu. You're a lightweight. I'm sure you don't want everyone else to know about your drunk antics." Dazai shut Chuuya down with a smile.

Needless to say, everyone still found out about Chuuya's drunk antics.

"What happened?" came a voice from the phone.

"Oh, Zumi! It’s Oda’s toys. Spirits, it's so messy! I’ve told him so many times to clean it up, but he never listens."

Tenzin was on his way to give their son a goodnight kiss when he overheard Lin on the phone, clearly frustrated.

“It’s a disaster in the bedroom! I don’t know what to do with him. He just forgets to put things where they’re supposed to go, and then I get so frustrated that I end up taking care of it up myself!” Lin exclaimed.

"Spanking?" Lin asked.

"Well, now that you mention it, I’ve thought about it," Lin said with a sigh. "But you know Tenzin... I don’t think he’d be on board with that."

"Hmmmm, If it worked for you, maybe we'll give it a try," Lin added.

In their bedroom, Lin and Tenzin were getting ready to sleep. Tenzin was still thinking about the conversation he overheard earlier. Lin said goodnight and turned off the lamp.

Smack. Smack. Smack.

Lin shot up, startled. "What? What the hell was that?"

Tenzin, caught off guard and embarrassed, quickly pulled the blanket over himself. "O-Oh... I think I was... having a dream," he stammered, his face flushed.

Lin, still puzzled, stared at him for a moment, trying to make sense of what just happened.

The next day, Lin approached Tenzin with a sigh. "I already talked to Oda and explained that we aren’t fighting and I’m definitely not abusing his beloved dad," she said, shaking her head.

Tenzin nodded in relief. "Alright, that's good to hear."

Lin paused and said "I'm really sorry about what happened earlier... I thought that’s what you wanted since, well, you did that to me first... last night."

Tenzin blinked, confused. "Well, I overheard you telling Izumi that spanking might help..."

"With Hakoda and his messy room! What were you thinking, Tenzin?" Lin crossed her arms, trying to keep a straight face.

Tenzin stumbled over his words. "Wh—wait, I thought you meant... I mean..."

Lin finally chuckled, shaking her head. "No, there's nothing wrong with us in the bedroom, Tenzin."

"Nothing missing in our married life? or you know..." asked

Tenzin relaxed as Lin reassured him with a smile. "Yep, absolutely nothing..." she said confidently.

"Although," Lin added with a sly smile, "even if there’s nothing missing, doesn’t mean we can’t try something new, you know." She looked at Tenzin, her gaze lingering just enough to make her point clear.

Tenzin blinked, a bit surprised but quickly composed himself. "Well, to be fair, I’ve had a few ideas running through my mind," he admitted, a slight grin forming.

"Oh?" Lin leaned in closer, her voice soft and playful. "Like what?" she asked, her tone sweet yet undeniably seductive.

Tenzin’s face turned slightly red as he fumbled for words.

They ended up sitting down and writing their ideas out, both quietly jotting down their thoughts. After a while, they shared their lists, laughing at some of the entries and surprised by others. Eventually, they combined them into one, forming a personal bucket list of their own.

A (somewhat) idiot captain, and a calm, cool and collected first mate! Oda literally stated that if Shanks was the sun, then Benn would be his moon. They balance each other out very nicely and I know that one will always take care of the other.

Classic captain/first mate ship. Beckman got all white hair at 50 for dealing with Shanks I know that. There's a part in film Red when Beckman calls Uta "our daughter" that activated my monkey brain.

Your honor they are married! The domestic fluff is all there. Benn loves his captain even though he is a handful and is always there to support him. Shanks has also followed in his parents footsteps and honoring the tradition of falling in love with your first mate. But I mean honestly can you blame him. Plus they raised a kid together!

They are not just a ship, they are a couple with a high chance of being completely canon, because they are already canon, they had a kiss and mutual feelings, plus they will most likely meet again in the future

They will surely be one of the few couples that Oda will show at the end

So I think (?) this is the same person, otherwise it's an insane coincidence, and I get where you're coming from anon, but calling Pudding and Sanji 'basically canon' is like calling Boa and Luffy canon. Yes Sanji does like Pudding back, but Sanji told her he must put his crew above her - and I cannot see that changing. What I was linked is far from canon since it's literally just a bonus corner at the end of the anime, and Sanji has been shown to be happy to meet ANY previous women he's met who showed a fondness for him. (ie, Viola. She also liked him, and they held hands and blushed at each other, Sanji even called her by her pet name, so why aren't they canon?)

What I'm saying is, I appreciate you like them as a ship, I do as well, but I still highly doubt any couples will become canon. It's a cute thought, but I cannot see it happening due to Sanji having other priorities and honestly not being a one woman guy. He doesn't strike me as the type who'd marry at all, because he wants to serve every woman lmao. I can 100% see him going down the same path as Zeff and being a bachelor for life, because why wouldn't that also happen to him if it happened to his mentor?

For now it is just a ship, such as all the other ships are. They have cute scenes, and they have cute moments, but I simply can't see Oda wanting to pair anyone up at the end due to what One Piece is.

Omg y’all. I know some people aren’t religious. And I’m not pushing anything onto anybody. But I just discovered something that stopped me in my tracks. This actually isn’t even really new to any Usopp fan, at least on Reddit 🤷🏽‍♀️ .

It’s another Elbaf theory (more so a connection).

Beware of spoilers!

So, I don’t know if Oda is a religious person, or even knows the story of David and Goliath. He very well might simply be irreligious. And as my sister put it, the best stories told by anybody are unknowingly from inspired by the bible. Oda has named some characters and things that come exclusively from the Bible.

But it has just hit me that Usopp is the David from David and Goliath. Okay, y’all have probably heard that (if you know you know). When some people have stated their Usopp Elbaf theory some have referenced David and Goliath. But get this…

NOT ONLY DOES DAVID FIGHT GOLIATH WITH A SLING, but what is significant is that David was also a shepherd. What do shepherd’s do? They take care of and guard sheep!

And Merry, her design and theme was that of a sheep! And y’all know how badly Usopp fought for her. He was willing to challenge his own captain over her, and that took guts and a strong asf conviction.

Of course of course, Usopp saw himself in Merry. He thought that if the crew could easily discard Merry they’d do the same to him. But that still doesn’t necessarily discredit my idea.

Usopp still fought for Merry because she had life, and was nakama. Like a true shepherd.

This is a passage in regards to the David parallel I’m trying for:

David is pretty much saying that he’d fight tooth and nail for any of his sheep, and Usopp did so for Merry. And if I want to get a little punny here, sheep does sound like ship. And with this same conviction David was willing to fight Goliath.

But in all seriousness, there are a few parallels that I just can’t stop thinking about.

I asked my mother about the biblical figure David. And she told that he started out as this small shepherd boy and grew up to be king. Now Usopp isn’t a king. BUT 1) I know he’ll eventually become the king of shooters AND 2) during the Enies Lobby arc and Thriller Bark arc he donned the Sogeking persona. So, like David he did become a king, temporarily (and will STILL become a king). I know it doesn’t sound quite clear. But I think y’all know what I’m trying to say.

(Edit: Actually, there was an opportunity for David to become a king earlier than he did because he’d been chosen to become king from birth, but he opted to wait since he very well did have the earlier opportunity to slay Saul and take the throne…but he didn’t. Like Usopp wasn’t ready to take the Sogeking/Sniperking throne just yet).

Therefore, I must reason with myself. With Usopp being such a king during the Water 7 and Enies Lobby arc, and being right about Merry, I think the only reason why he apologized was to be humbled. I think that’s one of the only ways I can put it since I’m not truly certain if Usopp needed to apologize but we’ll save that for another day, or get over it.

Yet, I go back to David’s story, and I think about what happened after he became king. He became very problematic. Messing around with married women and what have you. So, Usopp needed to showcase humility. And Usopp did so by wholeheartedly apologizing to Luffy and the crew after leaving and rejoining the Straw Hats. Usopp can’t be too big headed.

Also, another thing I gathered was that David is known as the warrior king in the Bible. This aligns with Usopp’s dream and ideal: to become a brave warrior of the sea.

God chose David because he had a good heart. Don’t get me wrong, Usopp has his flaws (who doesn’t?). But that doesn’t mean he isn’t compassionate. He was willing to go to considerable lengths to have Kuro’s crew NOT touch the village. Despite not having 8,000 men to back him up, Usopp was willing to fight alone. He was adamant in saving the village with or without Luffy, Zoro, and Nami. Like David’s faith in God, Usopp’s conviction (the impossible an afterthought) gave him the faith to make the decision alone. The decision to fight with only his wit, determination, and superb marksmanship.

Therefore, Usopp has a good heart. He is the chosen one in his own way, simply because he’s just a normal person continuously underestimated because of his lack of physical strength.

Moving onto my next point.

Ever heard of the term the lamb of god? If not, I understand. But the lamb of god represents sacrifice. In Christianity this is the belief as implied in the Bible. And Merry, the ship Usopp fought so hard to save, sacrificed herself! She sacrificed herself to save Luffy and the crew! So that the Straw Hats could live!

The Strawhats aren’t immortal but we all know they’ll have a long lasting legacy. Merry is one of the reasons why they were able to move onto the New World (even if she wouldn’t be there with them), and live out their dreams. Back to the the David parallel, it’s significant to realize that Merry saved the crew mainly because of Usopp’s care. If he hadn’t taken care of Merry, Merry wouldn’t have developed a spirit. Merry wouldn’t have saved the crew. Simple.

It kinda makes me tear up just thinking about it. But like Christ, Merry sacrificed herself to save those she cared about. She sailed away with the crew one last time before she died to save them.

I understand if anyone reading this may debunk my words simply because they think I’m reading too much into things. But I don’t think I am, because like any Usopp fan, I think his actions during Water 7 hold a lot of meaning. Some say he did some stupid stuff in the Water 7 arc because of a stupid boat. But it wasn’t that.

So, how does this tie into Elbaf?

Well, a user on TikTok (m05s_3nergy) theorized that when the crew are in Elbaf, there will be a moment where they’ll encounter a formidable foe, and before the crew (or Luffy or another crewmate) step in, Usopp would step forward and let them know that he’ll deal with the enemy himself, and to move on without him.

Now, it’s up to anyone at this point to explore the possibility of him biting the dust or not.

One of the things I can conclude about each theory is that they all sound really cool, and I really do hope that Usopp will get a moment that’s similar to one of them. To have a David and Goliath moment isn’t as far-fetched as some would think because the most obvious parallel is less subtle than some think. Usopp admires the Elbaf giants and he’ll eventually be in the land of giants (Elbaf has been confirmed 👀). With Luffy’s track record they’ll come across trouble quickly, and as found in most of the arcs, a LOT will be going on. How can Usopp not have a moment to shine? When David dealt with Goliath it took smarts. He acquired 5 stones and with his faith in God, he was able to defeat Goliath.

Before anyone thinks that the Franky-Egghead hype and Zoro-Wano hype is what Usopp-Elbaf hype is. I think you’re mistaken. Since Little Garden, Usopp and Elbaf have been associated.

Usopp has befriended 5 (or was it 6?) giants from Elbaf. I can ramble on some more. But I’ll stop here. I just wanted to talk about the David and Goliath parallels and religious themes.

I might make a video on this very topic. There’s more research I need to do. And many more parallels I must make. So stay tuned.
