Honkai: Star Rail - Mikhail x Tiernan

“M-Misha,” Tiernan coughed, taking a step back as the other nameless closed the distance between them. Why did the Astral Express have so little room to run? “Don’t you-”

“Come on, I just found out you’re ticklish. What did you expect me to do?” Mikhail giggled, holding out his hands in front of his chest and teasingly wiggling his fingers, making the other man flinch with anticipation. Oh, this was going to be good.

Tiernan looked left and right, around anyone in the parlor car that could help him out of the watchmaker’s claws, but both Razalina and Pom-Pom seemed to be entertained in their own conversation to pay attention to Tiernan’s cries for help.

Then, faster than one of his bullets, Mikhail threw himself at Tiernan, tackling the man down into one of the couches nearby, straddling his hips while wearing a devious look on his face. Tiernan gasped, barely able to utter a protest before Mikhail began to paw at his stomach, forcing a smile into his face and giggles out of his throat.

“Ohh, you’re indeed ticklish, Tiernan!”

“M-Mihihishahah!” Tiernan laughed, his feet kicking behind the other man while he desperately clung to Mikhail’s skilled hands. If he knew how to fix even the smallest clocks, it was only expected that he would have some expertise in pinpointing sensitive spots as well, right? “O-okahahay, t-that’s enohohough!!”

“What? It’s been barely ten seconds - it’s far from enough,” Mikhail said, a smug smile pulling at his lips as he laid out a trap. “So, a minute? Then I promise I won’t bother you again so soon.”

“N-no wahay, you-”

“Then I’ll continue until I’m satisfied,” Mikhail nodded to his own statement, ready to dig into TIernan’s sides. His hands, however, were stopped in their tracks as Tiernan managed to grab them.

He sighed, looking up to Mikhail before lay his head back in defeat. “F-fine, but just a minute…”

Mikhail grinned, picking the watch from his pocket. “Very well, let me set the timer and…”

Tick.

“W-WAHAhahait, I wahahasn’t reheheady!”

“Oh, please,” Mikhail shook his head, arching one of his eyebrows as he tickled Tiernan’s ribs, “you are ready to shoot an enemy on sight, but couldn’t see my hands right before your face?”

“S-Shuhuhut it, Mishahaha!! Damn ihihit!” Tiernan groaned, shaking his head and pressing his elbows down against his sides, hoping it wouldn’t leave any more room for Mikhail’s hands to explore.

That damned watchmaker, why was he interested in tickling him anyway? At least, it would be just for a minute and, once the watch ticked again, it would be over.

Or so Tiernan thought. After all, they would later realize that Mikhail’s watch was, actually, a compass. But until then…

A/N: Ok so I know its been a GOOD while since we last heard of them, but the will of writing something with them has been ligering around my head ever since i finished 2.2 quest

I’m so enamored with Troy and Blink’s friendship bc like. These are two people who have not experienced actual friendship for a long time. And both of them have built up defense mechanisms to deal with that loneliness: Blink does everything asked of him to be helpful and wanted and needed, and Troy puts on a facade of a strong popular sportsguy to appear tough and admirable. But these traits are also what drive people away from them. No one ever truly gets close to Blink bc he’s deferential to everyone’s wants, and it leads to Blink building up resentment when he continues doing good things and gets nothing out of it. Troy’s performance of popularity really just makes him an asshole, and he’s unable to be genuine and more likely to do stupid things that hurt people

And so over the course of Wonderlust both of them have been drifting closer to friendship through plot and shenanigans, and then pushing each other away through the same flaws that they developed to deal with loneliness. Troy puffs himself up, Blink deprioritizes himself; Troy takes advantage of Blink, Blink hides resentment for Troy that bubbles up at unhelpful times. Episode 15 felt like a crazy turning point bc they’re 1. Directly recognizing their own flaws, 2. Making a commitment to working on them, and 3. Agreeing to help each other with them. And like!! Isn’t that insane!! We met not even a week ago, have been through and put each other through hell, and now I see what holds you back and I will stick with you as we both grow to become people that others might also want to be around!!

Anyways this is why I think Troy and Blink as besties is the best possible outcome and I hope they continue on this trajectory of not making each other worse and in fact reversing course on that process

I had to redraw Vallaki’s angriest boy again! His hair is longer and he still uses mage hand for everything to prove that he can do magic.

So.. You know the ship between Luke and Lee right? As in.. Lee Fletcher and Luke Castellan?

I made a headcanon about them because I saw someone ship them. 😌

How they got together? Probably had their own romcom with a bunch of events or something. But they got closer because they were the biggest cabins back then and helped each other as head counselors. (Maybe it's why Luke kind of didn't lose his mind when handling THAT many kids.)

And you know how they're dating, just until the Battle of Manhattan? Imagine Luke tried to recruit Lee. He wanted him on his side because he was also the head healer. They could use him to help in his own plan to overthrow Olympus.

Of course, Lee didn't agree. They were different, he cared for his siblings and knowing this was dangerous he refused.

Which led into a fight, and unfortunately they didn't see each other after that. (They didn't break up, that's for sure.)

When the Battle of Manhattan happened. During the war, they met each other in a glimpse but with conflicting emotions battling inside them.

Lee was kind of the only thing that stopped Luke from going out of control. When he was killed. Luke just so happens to pass by his dead body. Only without a head.

Finding a young Will Solace sitting next to him in shock and grief unable to move. All in the middle of an outgoing war.

Once he found him dead. He was more conflicted. More in pain, angered by the gods for the death of his love. Maybe at himself too.

Maybe he hated what he became when Lee died. Maybe he hated what he did when he saw Will crying over his big brother. He wanted to help.

Maybe that's what drove him to kill himself, maybe to see Lee again. Just once. Once again, maybe they can make it up in Elysium, apologize sincerely. Maybe another life at changing. And another chance of winning Lee back again.

Maybe that's what pushed him to do this.

He was angry at the gods for using their children unfairly. Angry at how Lee always was so tired at healing children that came home from quests.

Tired of seeing Lee miserable everytime he couldn't save a camper sent by the gods like a death sentence.

Maybe it pushed him to do such things.

Pushed him to overthrow the gods because of Lee.

Pushed him to continue his plan with Kronos because of Lee.

Pushed him to save the world and realize his mistakes because of Lee.

Maybe. Just maybe.
